Description
The eastern milk is commonly confused with the copperhead. This slender snake
has three rows of brown, black-bordered blotches down the body. A Y or V-shaped
blotch may be present on the nape. Ground color varies from gray to tan and
ventral coloration is checkered with black on white. Scales are smooth and
the anal plate is singular.
