My Great-Grandma Kelley's Famous Nutcake

Ingredients: |

2 Cups Plain Flour
|
|
2 Tsp Baking Powder
|
|
3 Large Eggs
|
|
2 Sticks Butter
|
|
1/2 Cup Milk
|
|
1 Tsp Vanilla
|
|
1 1/3 Cups Sugar
|
|
1 Cup Pecans
|

Directions: |
|
Beat together the sugar, egg yolks and butter until blended. Add 1 c. flour 1/2 the milk and all the vanilla. Beat until blended. Add the rest of the flour and the milk, beat until blended. Fold in egg whites. Flour the nuts and stir them into the mixture. Bake in a Bundt pan in a 350 degree preheated oven for 45 to 60 minutes. Test with broom straw or toothpick. Enjoy!
