If you are accessing this (or other homepages) with lynx or another ascii browser under unix and you try to use the "respond by email" option, you may find yourself using the "vi" editor, a typical not_user_friendly unix utility.

Under lynx you may set your editor to pico (or other preferred editor on your system) by choosing the "o" command. This brings up a list of options that you can set for lynx, the first option is Editor. Choose "E" to select it, then type "pico" or the name of another editor on your unix system. You may need to ask your unix system administrator about what editors are available on your system.

Of course you may be familiar with vi and just love it -- then ignore this message. Otherwise feel free to download this message to your homepage if you are concerned about your visitors falling into vi without knowing how to get out of it (Cntl G to cancel) :-)
