Before I begin, you might want to download this, because it's the fruits of my labor from a little fad that I've been going through in the past week. (Just a note, not all of the cartoons talked about in these pages will have a file associating with it, purely for web space and download time reasons.)
What ever happened with the cartoons nowadays? I'm speaking of the nice ones suitable for all ages, and were genuinely funny, or ones that play into the child's imagination. The Saturday Morning Cartoons on the big stations these days just plain suck, heck, many of them aren't even cartoons, such as the Mighty Morphing Power Rangers, Barney and Friends, and Bananas in Pajamas,
Regression has always been a nice thing to go through every now and then, it makes the world seem more carefree, safe and secure. Although I had no troubles at the time, it was more of by chance. Just one of those things that once one sees one, they want the rest, right?
  Done downloading that file yet?
Heathcliff- It really is amazing of how much you don't know that you know. Although in this show, I don't remember that many specific points in the show, but I did somehow remember the names of the characters. I personally enjoyed the side-series of Ralph, Cleo, and the others more than the Heathcliff parts.
Voltron- Heh, another show that I don't remember much on. All I remember is that pansy princess who was the pink lion. I think that everyone would agree that the Mighty Morphing Power Rangers are a rip-off from this classic.
Transformers- Now, this was one kick-butt show! C'mon, I'm sure that anyone that has even LIVED during the 80s has heard of this show. I remember watching it movie, but only remember one scene, there were two transformers on stairs outside of a building with clouds of smoke surrounding them. Sadly, that's all I remember from the movie. :o( I don't remember any of the characters names, but I remember how much I liked the sound effects during the transformation. The Decepticons (sp?) always ruled!
Rainbow Brite- I have the little doll, Twink, the white Sprite still at home. Of course, he's not exactly in mint condition anymore.... his star ears are gone, very faded, and other things. I still love the thing though. I only remember one episode, where there was a evil sorcerer which took over a part of the Rainbow Crystal Caves (I think that's what it's called), forced the Sprites in there to dig out crystals for him or he'll turn them into frogs. He really didn't turn them into frogs, just tied them up, and released a from from a jar. Don't remember how it ended though. I always wished that they did more with the Rainbow Kids though. I never did see the movie....
Captain N- The "N" stands for "Nintendo." In this show, "Captain N" went into various Nintendo games, and battled for some virtual world, I just remember that there was a princess in it. The head bad guy was an eggplant, and sometimes, there would be cameos from other games, such as megaman, etc. Oh yeah, this is from the old 8-bit Nintendo.
C.O.P.S.- This was a damn straight good show! The letters stand for Central Organization of Police Specialists. Perhaps out of all this, I remember this show the best, it's a shame that it's ratings weren't that high, otherwise they wouldn't have nixed it. I remember this one episode where that robotic dog was given a chip (probably by Mainframe), in which he was able to tell the truth. If the person was saying the truth, he would bark once, if it was a lie, then he would bark twice. Somehow, the bad guys got a hold of the dog, and then they reversed it. Hence, if it was a lie, one bark, were it a truth, two barks. That, of course, messed everything up, ultimately causing Bowser (I think that was his name, the trainer of the dog) to lose his job. But, when the C.O.P.S. found out what happened, he got his job back. I also remember this other episode where Big Boss (how original) was over at his mom's apartment. She had horrible vision, and kept on thinking that he was THIN! And kept forcing him to eat sweet potatoes, because he hated them, he tried feeding it to the pet, stuffing them in his shoes, etc. It was nice to see that even he has a family side. Another episode I remember is Miss Demeaner (what a great name! see the pun?) turns into a good guy.... and she almost killed the mayor for littering. hehe. Okay okay.......one LAST episode I will talk about is after a crime, two guys in a car sped for the the state border (New Jersey, the show takes place in New York City) by bridge, but they barely make it because Longarm somehow does his trademark move and stops them!
Heh, that's it for this edition. I'll have to finish up the other series next time. Until then, Ja ne!
