Chapter 7, Mar. 5th, 1999
Yes!!! I'm finally done with my new outline. And just for old time's sake, this will be the last time I will be mentioning David Y. Fang. in these pages for a while. No loss, I shouldn't waste my web space for this every chapter anyways.

First, I'll talk about this new design. I haven't done much as in artwork this year so far. Including this CG (computer Graphics) design, I have only done two other pieces of art. Ironically how they were both portraits, I haven't done a portrait in more than 4 years. I personally don't think that they came out all that well, but I suppose every artist talks about their works like that.
I guess this would be my first professional looking CG. I did do the "Nez77's Laboratory" logo on my own, in MSPaint, actually. You try doing that with a mouse! Anyhow, as always, my ingenuity has never broken its promise to impress others, especially myself. This CG certainly makes its point, I didn't think I could do something like this, and am quite pleased. I do, however, think that there is a bit off in the alignment, but it's so little that I'm not even going to bother with it. This was done in Adobe Photoshop, and pretty much through a lot of exploration of the functions, and then trial and error. Hey, how else are you supposed to learn?
Years ago, MTV, had this contest called "Free Your Mind." The contestants were to write poetry and/or create works of art against sexism, racism, and the like. I did this thing, which took me more than two weeks to do. It was well worth it though, since more than 2,000 entries recieved, I was one of the top 20 finalists in the New York Metropolitan area. It was nice, although I didn't win any of the grand prizes (such as a trip to Hollywood), I had a good meal, and got a t-shirt and some other small things.
Now, why Sailor Mars of all people? Perhaps I should dedicate one of these chapters to anime/manga one of these days. Until than, just a brief thing on this. I associate myself best with Mars than the others senshi/sailor scouts. Looks is the most obvious, but of course, the personality-wise as well. She likes to dis up Serena (Sailor Moon), but she always means well, and is a true friend. Not to mention that she also has a rather large ego and is a shameless self-promoter.
This is a song that she composed and sang in one of the episodes, I personally love it, and maybe one of these days I'll get to dedicate it someone. ^_^
