    • I recieved my Tissue Culture kit July 16th. It came with a sample flasked plant, and mine, happily, was a Darlingtonia californica! The tissue culture kit was shipped from U.K. on July 7th and it got here July 16th. I would recommend getting the tissue culture kit. It comes with 20 tubes with already prepared medium in them, 1 tube with a sample flasked plant, 1 refill good for 40 flasks, and instructions. Tissue culture is when you take a small piece of a plant leaf, rhizome, whole seed, etc. and regenerate new plants from that small sample. If tissue is taken from the plant, the plant in tc from that tissue sample has the same DNA as the plant it is taken from. You can order a kit and get instructions from the link below.I will post information on my experiments later on.
