It's an amazing experience and REAL motivation to get your butt running! I want to make it to nationals by my senior year, a lofty goal but I think I can do it.
Track:
I ran a lot more than ever before this winter, over 700 miles in about 3 months. I did many runs over 10 miles, 14 miles a few times. getting up close to 70 miles a week a few times as well. Near the end of winter training I came down with tendonitis of my anterior tibialus, calf area, so I cut back near the start of track. This winter was a great one! I hope to run even more this coming winter(2001-2002).

Junior:
Cross-Country:
This season has started off with a 4K time trial which I ran in 14:03, a one second PB from last year, but off of minimal training over the summer because of IT Band Syndrome (sucks reeeeally bad). Our team overall did pretty well but I think we'll need some improvement from the 4 or 5 guy. Our girls team looked really strong with the freshmen doing quite well. I hope that this season will go well for us!!

AAU National CC Meet, Orlando, FL, Disney Wide World of Sports-12/1/01, 16:58, 28th. Had an amazing time just hanging out in Florida with the team and basking in the beautiful weather we had down there. Definitely trip to remember!
