More of VikiKat's Kittens!

The kittens were born June 12, 1998, between 9 and 11 Pacific Time.

Grandma (me) sat in the floor with her keyboard while being on-line with Hope's Mom, Elaine and defan. I gave a play-by-play, and they got their kitty books out and gave me instructions and answered questions while I "helped" Graycie give birth. Regular cyber-midwives! They are all designated Auntie's, and are also God Parents to my babies, as is Cat Slave for sharing them with all my friends on her website. Many thanks to them for all their help. Also a big thank you to Munchkin's Mommie. She came on-line for the last two kittens. My wonderful midwives got me through Charlie's breech birth, removing his umbilical cord (cuz mom didn't), and through Sam's not breathing when he was born. I'd have panicked big time if it weren't for these wonderful "Aunties".

First born (and also the runt!!) is Alexander Blue. He's Grandma's cuddle boy. He loves to sleep on my boobs, and gives me sweet kitty kisses right on the lips whenever I pick him up to cuddle. He lays on my boobs and naps every night when I'm on the computer. Grandma is so well endowed that he fits in my cleavage! I'll hold a hand over him when I move around to keep him from falling, and he just sleeps through all the commotion and all the moving around I do when I'm scanning stuff and preparing for Miss Piggy's wedding. He also has made good friends with his canine sisters. He is the only kitten to venture all over the house. He likes to "help" Jazmine eat her dinner at night...teehee. He's claimed me and everything else as his, and will have a permanent home with his Grandma. He's also the silliest kitten... attacking, slaying and carrying off any little bit of paper or whatnot he finds in the house. He races around like a little spaz!! He's just too cute and sweet for Grandma to part with!

Second born is Sabrina Hope. She was named after Toledo Bev's Rainbow Bridge baby (Sabrina) that died the same day these kittens were born, and Hope from the BB (Hope's Mom's Hope). Sabrina Hope is quiet and sweet. She has the sweetest little face... just too cute for her own good! She's not as adventurous as the boys are. Sometimes she'll just sit and stare at me while I'm talking to her, like she understands what I'm saying. She probably does, as I mostly tell her how pretty and cute she is! I'm sure she's agreeing with me!!

Third born is Charlie Monster. He was named after Camille's Rainbow Bridge baby, Monster. He lives up to his middle name, as he's a regular Toe Monster, just like cat slave's boys! He's very very playful. I've been calling him The C. Monster. He'd rather attack my feet than cuddle with me. He and Sabrina stay pretty close together most of the time, and do all their playing and adventuring as a team.

Last but not least is Sammy Amadeus. He's named for defan's Rainbow Bridge baby Sam, and Elaine added the Amadeus as she likes classical music. He's the biggest kitten despite being the youngest. He was the first to climb out of the birthing box, and the first to make it up the cat tree! He loves to climb all over the furniture and attack things. Now that he has discovered "furniture climbing", he's too busy to spend much time cuddling with Grandma. He and Alex play together a lot, and are often found adventuring off together. Sam will sometimes follow Alex into other parts of the house, but I've never seen him do it by himself.

I'd love to keep all my babies, but alas cannot afford to. I'm up to 10 cats right now with these babies, as well as my 5 dogs, and my vet bill is just outrageous. I will definitely keep Alex, and am thinking of keeping Sam too.
