ASSIGNMENT NO.4

Assignment #4 is to go into some of the powerful search engines and find information about clouds and fog.
Go to NETSCAPE
Go to NETSEARCH
Choose one of the search engines like http://www.yahoo.com ; http://www.dogpile.com ; or others. Prof. Good has http://northernlights.com on Web Site when you open up his Web site. Click on it and try it. A new search engine is http://www.mamma.com . Might want to try it. Very interesting. Try some different search engines for the experience and see what you like.
Choose a topic from Chapter 5 of the textbook dealing with clouds and fog and type these terms in the space provided and click.
You'll get a bunch of fog and cloud sites. (PS can always go to the Weather Channel, USA Today, NWS, etc). USA Today had some really great graphics on fog and clouds.
Also, you can always type in Weather and get 1000's of sites. For those of you in science ed, it might be good to look for some teaching units of clouds or fog. Fog is a major concern for aviation. Use your imagination.
Choose three (3) sites that deal with clouds and three(3) sites that deal with fog and do the following for each site:
1. Title of site and http#
2. Briefly summarize what you found at each site (abstract)
3. Relate site to concepts discussed in class and a sentence or two on your opinion of site (good, bad, why, accurate, neat, why, etc.)
