Go to Local Weather (blank upper left) .Type in your home town or ZIP. click on GO.
1. Name place where you clicked and list current conditions and when the
last report was received.
View 10 day forecast for your city.
2. Generalize on the 10 day forecast. Explain any changes or anything interesting or any reasons for the conditions or changes.
Go back and click on Maps (at top of page)and then click on Map Types and then click on Forecasts US National and click US Precipitation Forecast.
3. Give time and date and describe the precipitation pattern. Any particular reason for this.
Go back to About US. Click on Learn About the Weather Channel. Click on Learn More About How .......Click on Cable Network. Click on On-Camera Meteorologist. Click on one of your favorite announcers.
4. Write up their bio especially noting their meteorological training and where? If you are a weather channel freak, tell which one is your favorite and why.
Go back. Click on The Weather Classroom. Go to Careers in Meteorology. Go to Going Further. Then go to Colleges and Universities in the USA where you can get a degree in meteorology and click.
5. How many are on the list? List ones in GA, FL, SC, and NC? Make a few statements about what you found. Click on one that you are interested in and write up a brief paragraph about it
