on November 4th., 1875. He received his training
in Arts at Prince of Wales College, Charlottetown,
and Dalhousie College, Halifax, afterwards graduating
in Theology from the Presbyterian College, Halifax.
His first charge was Blue Mountain, Pictou County.
To this charge he gave eight years of faithful service.
In 1917 he was called to Murray River, P.E;I.
After three years of work here his health began to fail,
when he returned to Marshfield for two years more.
He died at New Glasgow on January 17th, 1923,
and was buried in the cemetery at Blue Mountain,
near to the church to which he had given such a large service
