was called to the Blue Mountain Pastoral Charge

in the Fall of 1991, and was inducted at Blair church

on the 16 December of the same year. Born in Sydney, N.S.,

he completed his secondary schooling at Sydney Academy.

He graduated from Dalhousie and McGi11 Universities and

the Presbyterian College in Montreal.Following his

ordination in 1981, he was appointed Ordained Missionary

to the North Tryon Pastoral Charge in Prince Edward Island;

from there he joined the Canadian Armed Forces and served as

a Chaplain at various locations across Canada.

Ian retired from the Forces in 1990 and was Interim minister

in Winnipeg, Man. before accepting the call to Blue Mountain.

Ian is married to Judith Jane Stenton of London, Ont. and they
