During the Second World War he served in the
R.C.A.F. After discharge he entered Pictou Academy
for his Grade XII.
He attended Dalhousie University from 1946 to 1949
and obtained his B.A.
He then entered Presbyterian College 1949-1952.
After being ordained he served over rwenty years
at Murray Harbour North and Peters Road.
He was Moderator of Atlantic Synod for the year 1967.
He is married to Norma Dalzell and has rwo sons.
They reside in P.E.I.
