The Foundry -- Hephaestus' Hole in the Matrix
Hoi chummer, looks like you've hijacked the right dataline to hurl ya into my own little corner of the Matrix. Well, hold on, cuz there's a lot here fer the average Joe. However, if you're looking for a runner fer hire, allow me ta introduce ya to sum of tha glitzest runners in Seattle.
Another orphaned game, Shadowrun wasn't abandoned unlike the other ones on my page. Rather, the parent company FASA went out of business in mid 2001. Shadowrun however, was one of FASA's fortunate games to be picked up by WizKids the makers of Mage Knight. Shadowrun is a cyberpunk game with a twist -- set in the mid 21 century, magic has returned to the Earth, and along with it, Dragons, Orcs, Elves, and other Awakened creatures. Yet, like the more traditional cyberpunk genre, the real enemies are the corporations who plot and scheme to wrestle power and finances away from one another and the average citizen.
Unlike the other games, I don't have a lot of Shadowrun house rules, for one, I haven't actually GM'ed a SR game. Also, I like the rules as they are, they are definitely adequate for the multiple situations they have to account for (though I have to admit, it has one of the most complicated and cumbersome mechanics of any RPG I've played). So mostly, this page will have the stories of my characters and some new equiment for a game I may run. Enjoy!

Urban Renewal is a shadowrunning team that has become (in)famous for the amount of collateral damage that seems to follow in their wake as they root out evil and rebuild with the common man. Hephaestus serves as the team's rigger and decker. Come meet the man behind the machine(s) of Urban Renewal!
