Angel, a drag queen, Maureen, an performer recently turned lesbian, Joanne, Maureen's lover, Mimi, a druggie, and Benny, a rich snob. Mimi, Collins, Angel, and Roger al have aids. (Act One) The play starts with Mark and roger in their New York loft on new years eve. Belowthem, outside, Collins is recovering from his recent mugging, and meeting angel at the same time. They find out that they have somting in commen, they are both gay( :):) )and they are both HIV . Back at the loft, Benny, who used to live with Roger, Mark, and Maureen, is making them pay rent, or they wil get evicted. The only way they don't have to pay is to stop Maureen's performance. Mark goes out to the lot, and Roger stays home to grive in his depression. Out of no where he hears a knock on the door. He meets mimi. She tries to seduce him, but in the help, he gets pissed and make her leave. Mean While, Collins, Angel, and Mark go to the Life support meeting. After the meeting, they rejoice and think about moving to Sante fae. After marks huries off to the lot, Collins and Angel show there live for eachother. Roger fianlly gets out of the house and meets up with mark. While they are out, they meet up with mimi who is buying drugs frum the junkies. He invites Mimi to og to dinner with them. After Maureens wonderful performanc at the lot,they go to dinner at the life Cafe. Benny just happens to be there. At dinner we learn that mimi once went out with Benny! After the life cafe, Mimi and Mark share there love with one sweet kiss. VIVA LA VIE BOHEME!!! <End of Act one> Act Two: Act two starts off on New years eve. Mimi and Roger are in love, but Benny of course has to ruin this love by reveling that mimi has been Cheating on Roger With benny. On valentines day, Maureen and Joanne are sceptical about there relaitonship. Angel and COllins are off somwhere soaking up there love. Later, at the end of summer, Alexi Darling call mark in hope he can work for her. Angel dies from AIDS, and Roger sells his guitar for a car, and goes to Santa Fae. When Roger gets back, he finds out that mim has been living on the street, and is dying from drugs. Roger finally finds his song, and sings it to mimi.
