At the mansion, everyone is stunned when Alistair makes Theresa the newest vice president of Crane Industries. Rebecca thinks Alistair has lost his mind, but Ivy knows Alistair is up to something. Alistair thinks Theresa will make a worthy edition to the team, more worthy than him. Ivy doesn’t believe this. Alistair says this conversation is starting to bore him, and he tells Theresa to have a fun party and give his best to Sheridan and his fiancée. At Alistair’s office, his assistant asks him what he’s up to. He says everyone will find out when he is ready. Back at the mansion, Theresa tells her mother the good news. She says everything is falling into place the way she always wanted them to. Pilar says Rebecca and Ivy won’t stand for this, but Theresa says she isn’t afraid of those bitter, cackling old hens. Theresa says she will give Ethan back what was taken from him, but Pilar doesn’t think Ethan cares much about power and fortune. Theresa says everyone loves power, including Ethan. Theresa says he may not complain about it, but he does miss it. Theresa says she will give him back what he cost him, and then nothing will take him away from her again. Pilar says this doesn’t make sense, Alistair wouldn’t even let Sheridan attend the board meetings. Pilar says Alistair will want something in return for this, but Theresa doubts that. Theresa thinks that Alistair has accepted her into the fold. Later, Ethan spies on Theresa and the baby and sees her give baby Ethan the bear she won for her long ago. As she tells baby Ethan about that night, she sees Ethan watching her. Theresa asks him if he still has his bear, but he says that was a lifetime ago and things are different now, they are not together anymore. Ethan leaves, and Theresa vows that Ethan will remember the love they felt for one another. Latyer, as Ethan and Gwen get ready for the party, Gwen finds the teddy bear Theresa won for Ethan. Meanwhile, Ivy, Rebecca, and Julian try to figure out what Alistair is up to. Later, Julian tells Rebecca that he no longer knows what is going on in this house, and begins going down the list of misfits living in his house. Rebecca asks Julian why he is afraid of Antonio, but he refuses to say. Julian says sometimes he wishes he had just stayed dead. Julian and Rebecca end up playing patient and nurse, and Rebecca has him all tied up in bed! Elsewhere, Ivy and Pilar talk about their problems. Pilar is worried about Antonio, and Ivy is worried about Ethan. Ivy says she will never allow Theresa to be with Ethan.
At the cottage, Luis walks in as Brian pulls Sheridan into bed to make love! Sheridan puts him off, and then sees Luis. Brian tells Luis to take a hike, he wants some time alone with Sheridan. Sheridan tells Luis that he’s not interrupting, they need to get ready for the party. Luis gives Antonio his bag and says he thought he would need this. Antonio tells Luis that he hopes he will bring Beth tonight, it will be fun to be together again, the four of them. Antonio goes to take a shower, and Luis loses his temper. Sheridan drags Luis into the other room and she insists that she would have stopped him one way or the other. She explains what happened, but Luis says Antonio can’t be put off forever. Luis says that they have to tell him the truth now. Sheridan argues with him, and she says if Antonio dies because of them she will never be able to look into Pilar’s eyes again, and it will eventually tear them apart. Luis ends up punching a hole in the wall, and Sheridan says she hates what this is doing to him. Luis says he is fine, and to go take care of Antonio. Sheridan tells Luis that he loves her with all her heart, and the only man she wants to be with, but if they tell Antonio he will die. Luis says he knows, but he doesn’t know how much longer he can take this. Antonio calls out and tells Sheridan that he hopes she is dressed or she will be the reason they are late. Sheridan says they’ll talk about this later. Luis says he hates this, and then he leaves.
At Tabitha’s, Connie comes to life and begins attacking Tabitha. They fight, and totally trash Tabitha’s living room. Fortunately Reese and Jessica come knocking on the door, and Tabitha tells Connie that she’s going to get it now, Jessica is the police chief’s daughter and Reese has been waiting ages to dissect something evil!
At the cottage, Sheridan continues to put Antonio off, and eventually calls Liz for help. She tells Liz that she needs to come to Harmony immediately. Liz asks if Brian’s injuries are acting up again, but Sheridan won’t go into it. She just tells Liz that both her and Brian need her. Meanwhile, Antonio calls Beth to ask her for a favor. He assumes Luis is taking her to the party, and he asks her to bring some old high school pictures of her and Luis to show to Sheridan so they can get to know one another better.
At Beth’s house, Beth gets Antonio’s call and thinks she may have another shot with Luis. She calls Luis and tells him that Antonio just told her about the party and thinks they are coming together. Luis apologizes and says he was going to make an excuse for her, but obviously he can’t do that now. Later, Beth looks for some old pictures and her mom asks her what she’s doing? Beth tells her, and her mother calls her a wicked little girl. They struggle, and Beth pushes her mother down and almost slaps her! Mrs. Wallace asks where she went wrong raising her, and Beth says perhaps not telling her who her father was was a factor. Beth asks her mother if her father is some big secret, or was she just such a slut she doesn’t know who he is! Mrs. Wallace refuses to let Beth go to the party and ruin things, but Beth says she doesn’t have a choice. Beth says she will go to the party, and if her mother tries to ruin this for her, she will put her in the Sweet Serenity retirement home. Mrs. Wallace says no, not that dump, so Beth tells her not to cause her any trouble!
At the Russell’s, Simone gets ready for her date with Chad as Whitney does the same. Simone wants to wear Whitney’s pink dress because it is Chad’s favorite color. She grabs it out of Whitney’s hand without even listening to her when she says she was going to wear it. Chad shows up and is greeted by Eve. He tells Whitney that she looks really really nice. TC shows up, and starts talking to Whitney about her new tennis schedule. It’s so packed that she realizes she won’t have time for anything else. Simone shows up and gives Chad a big hug. He tells her that she looks very pretty.
At the Bennett’s, Grace and Sam get ready for the party, and share a hot kiss. Sam wants to make love, but Grace refuses since she thinks they are not legally married. Sam convinces Grace to go for it, and as they smooch, David spies on them. Ivy calls David and is furious to learn Sam and Grace are about to make love. Ivy demands David stop them because she wants Sam near her tonight. David interrupts them and says John took his car, so he was hoping he could get a ride with them. Sam says they were thinking of not going, but Grace says they are going and will give him a ride.
At Beth’s house, Mrs. Wallace refuses to allow Beth to marry Luis and dump her in some nursing home. Beth’s mom decides to go to the party and stop Beth!
At the mansion, Rebecca asks Julian why he isn’t dressed for the party? Julian says she can’t seriously expect him to go to this party! Rebecca knows it must be difficult for him, especially since one of them tried to kill him and could try and finish the job tonight. Rebecca convinces Julian to go to the party, and to be gracious and loving towards his sister. Julian realizes she is right, there is no evidence against him for trying to murder Sheridan.
Sheridan and Antonio show up and see Luis with Beth. Antonio makes Luis hug Sheridan, and as they hug, Luis tells her that he loves her and won’t let her be with his brother tonight. Hank and Pilar show up, and Pilar asks Beth about her mother? Luis says Beth has done an amazing job taking care of her mother. Antonio asks to speak with Beth and tells Luis to entertain Sheridan. Antonio takes Beth outside and asks why she and Luis never married? Beth says they had their reasons. Antonio says he heard Luis broke it off after he left to take care of the family. Antonio realizes by the look on her face that it is true. He feels responsible for them not getting married, and he says he will make sure they get married as soon as possible and he says he will make things up to them. Beth tells him to set an example by marrying Sheridan as soon as possible, and she sneakily suggests they elope. Antonio says it isn’t a bad idea! Beth suggests they keep this on the down low, and he agrees. Beth begins to worry, and Antonio thinks she’s worried about her mother. He tells her to call home, so she does, but nobody answers!
Back at the party, Luis asks Sheridan to dance with him. Julian walks in and interrupts their dance. He says he is delighted to see her again, but she is not happy to see him. Sheridan slaps the hell out of Julian! She accuses him of trying to kill her and Luis in Bermuda, and she vows to prove it. Julian says he did nothing of the sort! Beth and Antonio return, and Julian freaks. He decides to leave, and Antonio follows him! Antonio grabs Julian and tells him that he ought to kill him right here, right now! Rebecca interrupts and saves Julian from Antonio. She asks him what happened between them, but Julian refuses to say. Meanwhile, Antonio goes to Beth and Luis and tells them how sorry he is they weren’t able to marry years ago, and he says they can forgo the double wedding plans so they can get married right away. Beth is in tears, and Luis talks to her in private. He tells her how sorry he is about all of this. He kisses her forehead, and as he comforts her, Antonio asks Sheridan if she’s ever seen a better example of true love.
Zombie arrives at the party and decides to start trouble. Sam and Grace also arrive, and Ivy tells David to stop this annulment until she can get Sam into bed. Rebecca ends up spoiling Grace’s evening by pointing out that the dress Grace is wearing, which she bought at a consignment shop, was one of Ivy’s old dresses! Ivy, however, tells Grace that she has nothing to be ashamed of, and she should be applauded for her good taste. Later, Sam and Grace see Kay with Miguel and are furious. Reese and Jessica show up, and Reese sees his dad’s car parked outside. Zombie decides to ruin Kay’s fun by spiking Miguel’s drink. Grace tries to get Kay away from Miguel, and she says they should go get a drink. Miguel offers her some of his drink, he only took a sip. Grace finds that Miguel’s drink is spiked, and he says he didn’t do it. He goes to get rid of it, and Grace accuses Kay. Kay says she did not spike Miguel’s drink. Grace finds the bottle of booze in Kay’s purse, but Kay says she has no idea where that came from! Grace wishes she could believe her, but she makes it difficult when she continues to lie after being caught red handed! Kay runs off and can’t wait until her parents are broken up, they will be so caught up in saving their own marriage to pay attention to her plans to get Miguel. Meanwhile, Sam thanks Ivy for not embarrassing Grace earlier, and he says that reminded her of the Ivy he knew years ago.
Tabitha shows up and grabs Connie. However, Connie kicks Tabitha in the shins, and runs off!
Chad and the Russell’s show up, and Eve hates seeing how sad Whitney is at seeing Chad with Simone. TC, however, can only think of Whitney’s tennis career and says Whitney is in the best shape she has been in months.
Mrs. Wallace shows up at the party and tells the maid that she is an invited guest and her daughter will be very happy to see her.
At the mansion, Whitney is forced to watch Simone on a date with Chad. TC thinks they are so happy, but Eve knows better. She thinks Whitney and Chad should be together, and that TC is pushing Simone and Chad so Whitney can focus on tennis. TC says she is way off base, and that Whitney isn’t interested in Chad. As he goes off on Whitney and tennis, Eve says when he talks about Whitney and tennis, he could replace Whitney’s name with his. Eve says Whitney loves him and doesn’t want to disappoint him, perhaps that is why she plays tennis. TC refuses to listen to this and walks off. Later, Eve runs into Julian in the study, and Julian begins flirting with Eve. Eve tells Julian that he disgusts her! Julian says while he was gone, he did some soul searching about a lot of his mistakes, and he realizes he should have stayed by her side. Eve says he ruined her life, but that is in the past, she is very happy now. Eve tells Julian that she knows what he’s after, and he’s not going to get it. They reminisce about the past, and Julian says he did love her. Eve says it is too bad he didn’t stand up for that love. Julian says, from the bottom of his heart, he was wrong not to do so. They soon talk about their son, and Eve thinks that their son could very well be alive. Julian says he knows nothing about that, but Eve says his father could have done it to keep a black baby out of the family. Julian says if it was true that their son is alive, part of him would be happy, but if he did come back, think about what TC would do. Julian says their son could destroy her family. Suddenly TC walks in and warns Julian to stay away from his family!
Back at the party, Simone talks to Chad about finding his real parents. Chad doesn’t think it is possible, but Simone says she thinks his parents are in Harmony and she will do whatever it takes to find them.
Meanwhile, Theresa tries to find the perfect dress to wear to woo Ethan. Whitney shows up and vents to Theresa about Chad and Simone. Theresa thinks she should just tell Simone the truth, but Whitney says it would crush her. Theresa changes the subject and says she’s got Ethan back! Whitney says how this happened? Theresa says it hasn’t happened yet, but it will. Theresa tells her about her new job, and how it will help her get Ethan back. Whitney thinks Theresa is getting in way over her head once again, and she thinks this plan came from some dark force in hell. Theresa says she will get Ethan back! Later, Theresa gives Whitney a new gown and some fancy jewelry to wear, and she tells Whitney to just keep it all! Whitney doesn’t want to keep them, and she says sometimes she wishes she had never met Ethan because then their lives would have been totally different. Theresa says if she never met Ethan, than she wouldn’t have her baby. Whitney asks if Ethan is really the father of her baby?
Ethan and Gwen talk about Sheridan and Luis. Gwen says they will end up together, because that is how true love works. She says look at them, he got side tracked with Theresa, but they are back together. However, Gwen does admit she is afraid of losing him again. Ethan promises her that he won’t let anyone or anything take her away from him again.
Luis apologizes to Beth for all of this, while Antonio tells Sheridan that Luis and Beth are the picture of true love. Beth tells Luis that it is okay, she is just going to enjoy the party because it will be a long time before she ever attends something like this again. Meanwhile, Beth’s mom crashes the party, and shocks the hell out of Beth. Beth drags her mother off, and asks her what in the hell she is doing here! Beth says Luis invited her, and she didn’t want to be impolite and not show up. Beth knows her mother is up to something, and she says she will not let her ruin this night for her! Mrs. Wallace says she just wanted to get out for once, so Beth says she could have at least worn one of the nice things she has bought for her. Hank and Luis show up to talk to her, and try and cheer Mrs. Wallace up and make her feel better about herself. Beth becomes more and more annoyed by her mother.
Meanwhile, Sheridan gets sick of listening to Antonio constantly talking about how wonderful Beth is and what a great wife she will make Luis. Antonio thinks Sheridan is upset at seeing Beth and her mother and it is making her think of her own mother. Sheridan begins thinking about her mother, and she wonders if she will die young just like her mother.
