September 99 Week 4

Monday

September 20
Sam has brought Grace to what is left of Faith's house. Sam tells her that they could not find any sign of Faith, or her remains. Grace sees a shoe peaking out from a tarp and wonders if it is her sister. Sam goes to investigate, and Grace is relieved that Faith is not underneath. Grace says this doesn't make sense, why is there no trace of Faith's body? Sam says that the chief believes the fire consumed Faith's body completely. Grace bursts into tears, and Sam comforts her. Grace says that Faith sensed this would happen, if she had listened to her, if she had been here then maybe Faith would be alive. Sam says she doesn't know that, and he could have lost her too. Grace asks how the fire started, and Sam says the chief thinks an overturned candle started it. Grace doesn't understand why Faith and Charity couldn't have gotten out in time, unless someone set the fire on purpose. Sam says there is no evidence of arson, it was just a tragic accident. Sam tells her that Faith is gone, but Charity still has a chance. Sam says Charity is their future, and Grace says he is right.

At Tabitha's place, Tabitha has disguised herself as a nurse and is showing Timmy how she will get rid of Charity, she plans to suffocate her with a pillow! After she stops suffocating Timmy, she tells Timmy that he wouldn't have suffocated, he's a doll! Timmy says he scared her, and Tabitha apologizes for upsetting him. Tabitha tells Timmy that suffocating Charity is her only option, she has exhausted her other powers. Timmy asks what if she doesn't succeed? Tabitha says she will succeed, she doesn't have any other choice! Tabitha leaves, and Timmy says "poor Charity doesn't stand a chance."

At the hospital, Kay tells Charity that she really doesn't have anything against her, but they are enemies because they are competing for Miguel. If only she hadn't fallen for Miguel she wouldn't wish her any harm. Kay tells Charity that she may think she needs Miguel, but she (Kay) needs him more! Kay says that without Miguel, she has no reason to live. Kay tells Charity that she doesn't want her to die, she just wants her to disappear, but how can that happen? Kay then eyes Charity's life support.

Tabitha shows up at the hospital and sees Kay in with Charity. She listens in on them and hears Kay telling Charity that she is not a monster, she just wants someone to love her. Kay says she loves Miguel and can't stand the idea of her (Charity) ending up with him! Kay admits to Charity that she made a bargain with the devil, she offered her soul to him if she could have Miguel. She laughs and says "too bad I don't believe in that." Tabitha laughs and says she will be surprised after today! Kay decides turning Charity's life support isn't in her, so she will let nature take its course. Tabitha comes into the room and plays nurse. Tabitha tells Kay that it is good that this poor girl has someone here for her, but things don't look good. Tabitha tells Kay that Charity is barely hanging on. Tabitha suggests Kay get a bite to eat, she'll watch her friend for her. Kay says she is kind of hungry, so she leaves. Tabitha quickly closes the blinds and then takes Charity's oxygen mask off and begins to suffocate her. She says she has waited over three hundred years to do this! She sits around and waits for Charity to die, she even says "For Hades sake die!" MEanwhile, Sam and Grace show up at the hospital, Grace intends to sit by Charity's side to give her the strength she needs to wake up. Kay finds her parents in the hall as she is coming back from the cafeteria. Tabitha hears them talking in the hall and quickly puts Charity's oxygen mask back on. Sam, Grace, and Kay enter the room, and Tabitha sneaks out without being caught by them. Grace sits by Charity's side and tells her that she is part of their family now and they will watch over her. Sam tells Kay that she is proud of her for coming here, Kay says Charity is her cousin after all. Sam and Kay go out in the hall and Sam tells Kay that there was no sign of Faith at the house, and he doesn't think they should tell Charity about her mom when she wakes up. Kay asks how he knows she will wake up? Sam says he does not believe God would take Charity from her mom, it would crush her to lose the last member of the family she has been searching for. Grace calls out Sam's name, so he rushes back into Charity's room. Kay says it will crush her if Charity lives, which Tabitha hears. Kay says she doesn't want her dead, she just doesn't want her to have Miguel. Kay goes into Charity's room, and Tabitha says Kay is her kind of girl! Inside, Charity begins to wake up. Kay begins to cry, and Grace thinks they are tears of joy!

Tabitha returns home and tells Timmy that she failed to kill Charity, again. She fears that if Charity comes to, she will have her mother's powers, which means the end for them. Timmy asks what they will do? Tabitha says they should escape!

Miguel is at home and is heading back to the hospital. Whitney shows up to wait for Theresa, and tells Miguel that she is sure Charity will wake up soon. Miguel says he is not giving up on Charity, but the truth is the longer she is unconscious the worse things are. Miguel realizes something is bothering Whitney. Whitney tells Miguel that Frank has learned the truth about Theresa, and he's gone to the mansion to tell them the truth. Whitney tells Miguel that she tried to warn Theresa earlier, but doesn't know if Theresa got out of the mansion in time. Whitney thinks that everything has to be all right, otherwise she would have called. Secretly, Whitney hopes she is right. Miguel gets the good luck charm Charity gave him to give back to her, he hopes it will help her. Suddenly, Miguel gets a call from Sam, Sam tells him that Charity is waking up. Miguel says he will be right over.

At the Crane mansion, Theresa is getting her things together. She tells herself that her mom warned her she'd get her heart broken if she stayed here, and she was right. Theresa realizes that she doesn't belong here, it is time for her to say goodbye to Ethan and her dreams.

In the living room, Ivy tells Frank that his theory about Theresa being Ethan's stalker is absurd! She trusts Theresa implicitly. Frank asks if Theresa is still here? Ivy says Theresa just resigned, but she is upstairs getting everything in order. Frank tells Ivy that he will prove to her that Theresa is Ethan's stalker. Frank asks Ivy if Theresa has ever looked different than what she looks like when she comes to work here? Ivy remembers that Theresa did look different when she first met her, but says that Theresa changed her appearance to look more professional. Frank thinks she disguised herself to hide from Ethan, but Ivy refuses to believe that Pilar's daughter is Ethan's stalker. Frank asks Ivy if Ethan has seen Theresa outside the secretary get-up? Ivy says she doesn't know. Frank tells Ivy that if she calls Theresa down here then she will see he is right. Ivy says very well and calls Theresa on the phone, she asks to see her in the living room. Frank shows Ivy the photo of Whitney and Theresa and asks if that is what Theresa looked like the first time she saw her? IVy says yes, and Frank says "then we got her!" Theresa comes downstairs to see Ivy, Frank is no where to be seen. Theresa tells Ivy that the reason she is quitting is complicated, but will always be thankful for the wonderful opportunity. Ivy asks why she is throwing it away, what isn't she telling her? Theresa says she wouldn't understand, but Ivy asks her to try her. Theresa tries to come clean, but says she can't. She asks Ivy to tell Ethan goodbye and good luck for her. As she tries to leave, Frank shows up and tells her that she's not going anywhere. Frank says that he knows she is Ethan's stalker, and he wants her to admit it to Ivy. Ivy asks Theresa to tell her it isn't true. Ivy asks Theresa if she stalked her son? Theresa says she did not stalk Ethan, she does not want to harm Ethan. Frank says that stalkers are unbalanced, but Theresa says she is not unbalanced and did not stalk anyone! Ivy tells Frank that he obviously made a mistake. Frank hoped it wouldn't come to this, he's going to have to expose Theresa for the liar she is. Frank says that Ethan can identify Theresa as his stalker. When Ivy decides to go get him, Theresa blurts out "no don't!" Ivy begins to wonder about Theresa, but Theresa says she is only thinking about Ethan's ankle. Frank yells at Theresa for showing a phony concern for Ethan's health after she attacked him. Theresa says she never attacked Ethan! Ivy calls Ethan and tells him to come downstairs right away. Frank tells Theresa that he knows she is the stalker, and soon Ethan will too, and then she will go to jail!

Sheridan is cleaning off her hands and is worried that Luis will be even more suspicious of her past now because of the reaction she had to the paint on her hands. She tells herself that she has to stop letting her past haunt her in the present. When she says that nobody can ever find out, Luis walks in and asks what she is hiding? Sheridan snaps at him and says it is bad enough that he is monitoring her every move, but now he is monitoring what she is saying! Luis says he knows she is hiding something. Sheridan tells him that she just meant that she didn't want her friends to know she is doing time here. Luis makes fun of her and says she could never hold her head up at the country club. Luis says what blows him away the most about her is that she isn't even embarrassed to be a snob! Sheridan says she doesn't care what he thinks and asks where Hank is. Luis says Hank went home to sleep, but they aren't talking about Hank. Sheridan forgot she was being interrogated. Luis knows he has a secret and it probably has something to do with why she and Ethan were prowling around the newspaper office. Sheridan says that is so ridiculous that she is not even going to respond to it! Luis says he is a cop and knows when something is going on. Sheridan says the only thing that is going on is that she is stuck working for him to pay for a few traffic violations and he should stop looking for something that is not there! Luis says he's not buying her speech. Sheridan says fine, but he will end up looking pretty foolish if he follows his gut feeling. Sheridan walks out of the room she was in and sighs. Later, Sheridan mops the floor as Ethan plays basketball with the kids. Sheridan asks Michael Jordan if she can go next door for some coffee, but he doesn't hear her. She thinks he won't miss her, so she steps out. Moments after she leaves Luis notices that she is gone. Luis thinks she has quit because she couldn't hack it, so he keeps on playing with the kids.

Sheridan goes to the Book Cafe to get some coffee. She talks with Beth, who understands how she must have felt inside the magician's box because she is claustrophobic thanks to being locked in a trunk by her brother as a kid. She says it is funny how something that happens to you when you are a kid can affect your whole life. Sheridan flashes back to what she did as a child. Beth tells Sheridan that she just finished a book on childhood trauma and tells Sheridan if she is interested it is on the new releases shelf. Sheridan says she will pick a copy up, for a friend. Beth tells Sheridan that her coffee will take a few minutes, she just put on a fresh pot. Sheridan finds the book, entitled Getting Past Your Past, and sits down to read it. Luis comes in to see Beth and doesn't notice Sheridan on the couch. Sheridan hears Luis telling Beth that Sheridan is a lot more work than she is help, she almost had a breakdown today. Beth tries to tell Luis to hush up, but he says Sheridan Crane lives in a world where she does no work at all, she even admitted she was spoiled. Luis says he almost feels sorry for Sheridan, she wouldn't know what to do if someone took that silver spoon out of her mouth. Beth gives Luis his coffee, and he leaves. Beth tells Sheridan that Luis is really a nice guy, but Sheridan says the Luis she knows is anything but nice! Beth tells Sheridan that she doesn't know Luis the way she does, but Sheridan says Luis has it in for anyone named Crane. Sheridan says she is used to people reacting to her because of her name, people only care about the family money and power, not her. Beth says not Luis, and Sheridan says she is right about that. Sheridan gets her coffee and returns to the Youth Center. She goes back to the store room and realizes that forget to ask Beth to put sugar in her coffee. She wonders where her slave driver keeps the sugar and begins looking around for some. She sees a door and opens it, not knowing that it leads to the men's locker room where Luis has just finished taking a shower! Sheridan's eyes widen and she drops her coffee, which makes Luis smile. Sheridan stands there with her mouth open just staring at Luis.

At the mansion, Ivy calls Ethan up in his room and asks him to please come downstairs, Frank thinks his has found his stalker. Ethan says he will be right down. Up in his room, Gwen is wrapping Ethan's ankle. Ethan says if the girl downstairs is his stalker, he will make her wish she never woke up this morning. Ethan and Gwen talk about his stalker. Ethan says he thought that the first two incidents, the paint and milkshake, were just accidents, but the heat liniment convinced him she was stalking him. Gwen is glad that everything is going to be over and says maybe he will be able to ask her a question again soon. Ethan says that he hasn't forgotten and he just wants the day he proposes to be perfect. Gwen hopes that with the stalker out of the way they won't have anymore incidents to deter them. Ethan says he will make his stalker pay, he is sick of people praying on his family because of the Crane name, that is why he's going to make an example out of his stalker. Downstairs, Frank continues to yell at Theresa. He asks why she didn't attack Ethan here in the house, she had plenty of opportunities. Theresa says she never attacked Ethan anywhere, she would never do anything to harm Ethan! Ivy tells Frank to stop pestering Theresa, she hasn't been found guilty yet. Theresa thanks Ivy for sticking up for her. Ivy says that she is genuinely confused, she likes her, but she will do what she has to do if she is her son's stalker. Theresa asks "do what?" Ivy says she will not only have her arrested and punished to the furthest extant of the law, but she will have to fire Pilar! Theresa begs Ivy not to fire her mother, if she does her family will be destroyed! Ivy says that her husband and father-in-law would insist she was fired if Pilar was related to Ethan's stalker. Theresa begs her not to fire her mom, her mother is proud of this job and she saves some of her paycheck to send her and her brother to college one day. Theresa says if she fires her mother, her mother will not only lose her job but her one last dream. Ivy says someone else would hire her mother, but Theresa says nobody would hire someone the Cranes fired! Theresa says her mother would lose everything because of her! Ivy is shocked and says "Then your admitting you are the stalker?" Meanwhile, Frank helps Ethan down the steps. Ethan says Frank that he owes him apology for doubting him. Back downstairs, Theresa says she is not admitting anything, she just doesn't want her mother punished for what Frank thinks. Ivy says if she is not the stalker her mother will not have anything to worry about. When she is left alone for a few seconds, Theresa tries to escape, but finds all the doors are locked. Frank and Ethan show up and Frank tells Ethan that Theresa is her stalker, she wears this disguise to fool him. Ethan takes off her glasses and pulls her wig off. Ethan says it is her! Ivy asks if he is certain? Ethan says he is. Gwen asks Theresa how could she, she and Ethan trusted her? Theresa says that she wasn't stalking him, they were all accidents! Ethan tells her to save it for the judge, he is going to make sure she never hurts anyone again by putting her in jail for life! The cops show up and put Theresa in handcuffs and haul her off. Theresa sees herself in jail as an old lady forty years later. She is looking at a photo of Ethan and says she loved him so much, why couldn't she make him understand? Of course the whole thing was a daydream. Ethan enters the living room and asks where his stalker is? Frank says his stalker is Theresa. Ethan looks at her, she is shaking with fear. Ethan tells Frank that this isn't funny, but Ivy says Frank is serious. Ethan says Theresa doesn't look anything like his stalker, but Frank says Theresa is in a disguise. Frank tells Theresa to take off the wig and glasses! Theresa takes her glasses and her wig off as everyone watches. Ivy asks Ethan if Theresa is his stalker? Ethan remembers all the incidents and Frank tells Ethan that he can have the cops here in five minutes, Theresa will be put away where she can never bother him again. He asks Ethan if she is his stalker?

At the hospital in the hall, Kay tells Simone that Charity is waking up. Simone had just showed up, and she has brought Charity flowers. Grace comes out of Charity's room and tells Simone that she is so sweet to bring flowers, both of them have been so good through all of this and Charity is lucky to have Kay for a cousin and Simone as a friend. Miguel shows up and asks how Charity is? Sam says that Eve is still examining her. Miguel barges into Charity's room and asks Dr. Russell if Charity will be okay? Eve says she could give him a better answer if he would go back out into the hall and let her examine Charity! Quietly, Simone tells Kay that she can't compete with that, but Kay refuses to give up on Miguel. Back in Charity's room, Charity's monitors start beeping and her heart rate goes up. Eve walks outside and tells the nurse "Code Blue in ICU 4!" Eve tells Grace and Sam that Charity's heart rate has shot up and they have to get it back down. Grace doesn't understand, but Eve says she has to attend to Charity. Everyone watches through the window and Eve works to save Charity. Eve manages to stabilize Charity, which everyone but Kay is glad to hear. Eve explains that the combination of the head trauma, respiratory distress, and the excitement in the room probably lead to the raise in her heart rate. Grace says that Charity must have sensed the boy who saved her was by her bed. Sam says that Miguel may have been a boy a few days ago, but after braving the fire to rescue Charity, he is a man. Everyone goes in to see Charity and Eve says she will let them know when Charity's test results are in. Sam gets beeped and has to excuse himself to make a call. Miguel asks Grace about her sister? Grace says Faith was never found, and she has lost their twin connection, she fears she is dead. Miguel tells her that he is so sorry. Grace gives Kay some money and suggests they all go down to the cafeteria and get a soda, but Miguel refuses to leave Charity again. Kay and Simone leave and Kay continues to whine about how it isn't fair, she has had a crush on Miguel since they were kids. She says Charity has Miguel so hung up that he can't see straight, and what makes it worse is that she is her cousin. She asks what she did to deserve this? Back in Charity's room, Sam returns and tells Grace that he has news about Faith. Sam said that people looked everywhere and found nothing, it looks like her sister was lost in the fire. Kay and Simone return and see Sam comforting Grace. Kay asks if Charity is dead? Sam says no, he just got news that point to Aunt Faith dying in the fire. Kay and Simone tells Grace how sorry they are. Grace says that they have to focus on what Kay's father said earlier, God may have taken Faith, but he left her daughter behind. Miguel says this is going to be hard for Charity. Sam says Charity will need all their help. Grace says Charity hardly knows her and Sam, Miguel will have to be her anchor. Miguel says he doesn't mind, and that Charity has Kay too. Grace gets a little dizzy, and Sam catches her. He says they need to go to the cafeteria to get her some food. Miguel, Kay, and Simone says they will stay with Charity. Kay leaves the room, but only to get Miguel a soda. Simone leaves with her and tells Kay that she doesn't have a prayer, if she makes a play for Miguel now she will look like a complete idiot! Kay says better an idiot than a life without Miguel. Kay plans to tell Miguel that she loves him, so Simone decides to hang out with her folks instead of watching her make a fool of herself. Kay goes into Charity's room, gives Miguel the soda, and says she has something to tell him. Before she tells him, Charity begins to wake up. Eve comes into the room and tells Miguel to stay back. Eve tells Charity that if she can hear her, she is in the hospital. Charity doesn't respond, but Miguel knows he saw her moving Miguel pulls out Charity's lucky charm and puts it in her hand. He tells Charity that it is Miguel, and she actually begins to wake up. Outside Kay is in tears. Grace, Sam, and Simone show up. Grace and Sam go into the room, and Kay tells Simone that she never got the chance to tell Miguel the truth. Back inside, Eve tells Grace that she's going to have to leave. Grace asks why? Eve says she and her mom were twins, if Charity sees her it will confuse her. Eve says the first thing Charity will probably ask for is her mom, and if she sees her, it will make breaking the news harder. Grace leaves, and Charity stirs. Eve says that Miguel should be the first person Charity sees when she comes to. Charity opens her eyes, looks at Miguel, and asks where she is? Eve says she is in the hospital, she was in a fire, but someone is here that she'll be awfully glad to see. Miguel tells her that her lucky charm worked, he knew she'd come back. Charity asks Miguel if she knows him?

Wednesday

September 22
Sorry this is so late, was a bit under the weather. This is shorter than usual.
At the hospital, Grace and Sam listen at the door as Charity tells Miguel that she doesn't remember him. Miguel thinks maybe the smoke has clouded Charity's vision, so Eve checks and cleans her eyes. However, Charity still doesn't remember Miguel. Miguel walks out of the room heartbroken. Grace tells Sam that she fears the past is repeating itself, Charity may never remember her past just like she doesn't twenty years after Sam rescued her from a fire.

In the hospital lounge, Kay is trying to think of ways to get Charity out of Miguel's life. First she thinks of convincing Charity to join a convent, but then she has a fantasy of Sister Charity smacking her knuckles with a huge ruler. Then she thinks about selling her to a swear shop, but then sees herself being taken captive by the sweatshop owners as well. When she sees Miguel come out of the room, Kay and Simone go to see how Charity is. Kay is thrilled to learn Charity doesn't remember Miguel, and thinks she finally has another shot with him. Miguel goes back into Charity's room, Charity is asleep. Miguel asks God to please help Charity. As she sleeps, Charity mouths "remember."

At the Youth Center, Sheridan is when she walks into the unmarked men's locker room and sees all of Luis assets. When Sheridan runs out of the locker room, she runs into Hank and tells him how embarrassed she is about what just happened. Luis comes out in clothes and teases Sheridan. When he insinuates that she purposely wanted to sneak a peak, Sheridan becomes furious and tells Luis that he has such an ego. She asks her slave driver what her next job is, so he tells her to do what she does best, order lunch. Sheridan leaves to get lunch, and Hank and Luis reminisce about their days on the Harmony High baseball team. Sheridan returns later with Chinese. She tells Luis she wanted to order something different. She has brought frog legs, cow tongue, roasted duck with caterpillar sauce, and more interesting food! Hank loves it because he spent time in Hong Kong, but Luis is furious with her for not considering others. Sheridan tells him to relax because she ordered him steamed rice, beef, and vegetables. As Luis eats his food, Hank tells Sheridan about a great guy he knew in school. This guy was captain of the football, baseball, and basketball team; he was the class president, and he was the class valedictorian. Sheridan is impressed and asks where he ended up? Hank says he ended up staying in Harmony and becoming a cop. Sheridan says that is a shame, but then realize he is talking about Luis. Sheridan feels bad, but Hank tells her that Luis is happy with his life and is very self confident. Sheridan leaves when she hears the fax machine, and returns furious. Sheridan yells at Luis for running a background check on her. He says he likes knowing about the people he works with. Sheridan crumples the fax, throws it at him, and walks out of the center. Even though the fax says Sheridan's past is squeaky clean, Luis knows Sheridan is hiding something.

At the Crane mansion, everyone waits for Ethan's answer, is Theresa his stalker? Just as he is about to answer, in walks Pilar. Frank asks Pilar if she knew Theresa was Ethan's stalker? Pilar says Theresa never hurt Ethan, and Frank asks "So your admitting she is the stalker?" Pilar says she is saying she knows Theresa could not harm Ethan. Ivy asks Frank to stop badgering Pilar. She tells Pilar that she values her loyalty, but if Theresa is the stalker she will have to go to jail. Ethan tells everyone that he can say without a doubt that Theresa isn't his stalker. Ivy and Gwen end up leaving, Ivy wants to familiarize her future possible daughter-in-law with the Crane charities. Frank doesn't understand why Ethan didn't rat out Theresa, but ends up leaving when he realizes Ethan won't change his mind. Pilar thanks Ethan, who asks to talk to Theresa alone. Theresa tells Ethan that she is so grateful to him and that she never meant to hurt him, all of the incidents were accidents. She tells Ethan that she has quit her job, so he will never see her again. Theresa goes to leave, but Ethan grabs her arm and tells her that she isn't getting away that easily.

I haven't gotten to proofing this yet, still feeling a little bit blah
In LA, Chad Harris is working in a record studio producing a song. Chad decides to put in on the radio because his boss has a knack at taking credit for other people's work. Later, Chad learns from his boss' secretary that he has not gotten credit on the new CD he produced. His friend tries to calm him down and tells him that he can't pop the boss because he still needs him, maybe next time he will get the assistant producer credit. Chad realizes he can't quit and go back to ground zero, but what his boss is doing isn't right. Chad's boss Howard shows up and Chad lets him have it, he says he was counting on getting some credit for his creative ideas. His boss says "Yeah, your work on the drums was a REAL big deal!" Chad says he is the one who pushed for the lead job and was the one who got him to listen to the group in the first place, he deserves the credit. His boss tells him to forget it because he ain't getting it! Chad says he worked on this album for weeks while he was stoned! Howard tells Chad to shut the hell up and decks him! Chad punches his boss back in return. Howard fires Chad and tells him that he'll never get another job in this town after he tells everyone about his little violent streak. Chad's friend tells him that he's going to have to learn how to control his temper if he ever wants to work again.

At the park, Whitney continues to worry about Theresa, who has not come home yet. Frank shows up and tells Whitney that he just came from the mansion where the showdown happened. Frank says he exposed Theresa to Ethan and Ivy, and Whitney asks if Theresa is in jail? Frank says no, Ethan didn't identify Theresa as his stalker for some reason. He tells her that she must be proud of herself for making him look like a complete jerk! However, he says he isn't blaming her because she made him forget a very important rule of his, never let personal feelings get involved in a case. Frank goes on to say that he hates that he has to mark this case as his first loss, and he hates that she and Theresa made him look like a jerk. Frank tells her that when he first met her he thought she was the type of girl he waited so long to meet, but she turned out to be a liar just like all the other girls he's met. Whitney says that is not true, and Frank says the only difference between her and the other girls is that she's not as good of a liar. He says that maybe someday she will explain why she did what she did to him, but she will always wonder if he believed her or not. Frank walks off leaving Whitney heartbroken.

At the mansion, Ethan tells Theresa that he is not going to let out of here to stalk someone else! Theresa asks if he is going to have her arrested after all? Ethan says he isn't going to arrest her, the only reason he covered for her is for Pilar's sake. Theresa tells Ethan that she'd die if her mother suffered for something she's done, and she thanks him. Ethan tells her that she still owes him an explanation, he isn't about to unleash her out on the world to attack another member of her family. Theresa says everything she did were just accidents. She says that she didn't even know she spilled on him until later, and when she found out who he was, she got nervous at the burger hut and spilled more stuff on him. She says she thought the bucket of barbecue sauce was water, and then her brother made her take the job at the cannery where she spilled fish guts on him. Ethan asks what about the heat liniment. Theresa says she thought it was body oil, she grabbed the wrong bottle. Theresa swears that she didn't mean to hurt him, but Ethan says he's having problems believing her. He thinks there is a better explanation for what happened other than they were accidents. He doubts she could be accident prone only around him, and asks why she selected him out of the other Cranes? Theresa says she just hopes he believes that she doesn't want to harm anyone in Harmony, and she won't cause an accident to happen to him or anyone else in Harmony. Ethan says I should believe that because? Theresa says that since she's been working here she's been around him a lot and says nothing has happened. Ethan says that is not entirely true and remembers how her necklace got caught on his shirt when she fell on top of him on his bed. However, Ethan says he will take the blame for that one, but he realizes now that his subconscious knew she was his stalker. Ethan says he just wants this whole mess to be finished once and for all. He says that because he is the only one she has these accidents around, he'd like to ask a favor of her. Theresa says she'll do anything he says! Ethan tells her that he never wants to see her again, anywhere! He tells her that if she sees him on the streets or in a restaurant he wants her to run far away from him! Ethan asks Theresa to promise him this or he will call the police. He also says if she has one more accident around him he will turn her in. Theresa promises she won't see him again, and he makes her promise him that it will be forever. Theresa does, and then leaves. Outside, Theresa runs into her mom, who comforts her. Theresa cries that she'll never see Ethan again.

Theresa runs into Whitney in the park, Whitney tells her that Frank told her what happened right before he told her that he hates her guts. Whitney is in tears and thanks Theresa for causing all of this. Theresa says if it makes her feel any better she didn't get off as easy as she thinks. Theresa says that she had to promise Ethan that she'd never see him again for the rest of her life. Whitney tells her how sorry she is, but asks why Ethan didn't turn her in? Theresa wonders if maybe, just maybe, a little part of Ethan does like her. However, she says she can't let herself start dreaming again. Unfortunately, she says if she told Ethan the truth, that she loves him, maybe he'd realize he loves her too! Whitney tells Theresa that her future with Ethan is over, just like hers with Frank is over. However, Theresa says she can't forget Ethan. Whitney tells her that she has to for her mother's sake. Both Whitney and Theresa realize that Theresa's mom might tell Ethan that she loves him!

Back at the mansion, Pilar thanks Ethan for not turning in her daughter to her mother and police. Pilar admits she recently learned about everything, and Ethan understands why she didn't turn her in. However, he asks why he let her work in the house when she knew she was so accident prone around him? Pilar says she was against it, but Theresa took the job against her wishes. Ethan wonders if she wanted to work here because of his mom, or because of him? Pilar says that working with his mother was a wonderful career opportunity with her mother. She says Theresa ignores risks to go after her dreams. Pilar says the only reason she let her work here was because she knew Theresa never wanted to harm him, everything that happened were accidents. Ethan doesn't understand why he is the only person Theresa has these accidents around.

At the hospital, Kay tells Simone that she wonders if memory loss runs in her family. Simone tells Kay that one day she will pay for wishing bad things on people. Kay says that she didn't start the fire, fate did! Now, Kay says it is her turn and she is taking advantage of this incredible opportunity. Kay listens to her walkman and hears Chad's song on the radio. She thinks it is a cool song and decides to make it her and Miguel's song. Kay tells Simone about her new plan, she's going to get him to walk her home and they will take a detour to the beach where they will make love. Simone tells Kay that sleeping with a guy won't make him love her!

In Charity's room, Charity wakes back up and tells Miguel that she remembers something. Miguel asks her what she remembers, and then relays a list of all the things they did. Charity just says that she remembers. Miguel rushes out into the hallway and shouts "Charity remembers!" Kay, Simone, and Miguel go inside and Kay says hello to Charity and introduces herself as her cousin and good friend. Unfortunately, Charity says she doesn't remember her. Miguel said he thought she was remembering things? Charity says she is, and then remembers the fire. She says she was looking for her mom, and asks where her mom is? Kay tries to calm her down, but Miguel continues to ask her if she remembers him? Charity still doesn't remember Miguel, who apologizes for pushing her. He suggests she gets some rest, her memory will come back to her. They all leave so Charity can get some rest. Outside, Miguel worries that maybe Charity's head injury is more serious than Simone's mom told him, but Simone says Charity has suffered a head injury, she will probably remember him soon. Kay agrees with Simone. Miguel doesn't know how to thank her. Kay suggests that he let her take him to get something to eat, but Miguel wants to stay here. Miguel goes back into Charity's room to sit with her, and Simone tells Kay that now that Charity is remembering the fire, she'll probably remember everything else soon. Kay wonders how to get Miguel to stop mooning over Charity, and tells Simone that she needs some help. Simone was listening to the new song, and it gives her an idea how she can get Miguel. Later, Kay goes to see Charity and Miguel. Charity is still asleep, and Kay tells Miguel that she brought a tape for Charity which might jog her memory. Kay says she saw a show about how music helps coma patients, and she thought the same technique might help Charity remember him. Miguel says it is worth a try, so they put the headphones on Charity. Mixed in with the song is Kay telling Charity that she doesn't like Miguel and should stay away from him!

At the mansion, Ethan asks Pilar why her daughter is accident prone only around him? Pilar says that is a hard question to answer. Ethan can't believe they were all accidents. He knows she has never lied to him, so he asks her why she did all those things. Pilar says accidents can't always be explained, but Ethan thinks she's not being totally honest. Ivy returns just in the nick of time with tons of bags for Pilar to take. Ivy says Gwen went home and will call Ethan later. Ivy tells Pilar how awful it must have been to see Frank accuse Theresa of being his stalker. Pilar tells Ivy not to blame Mr. Lomax, she would feel terrible if she held anything against him. Ivy tells Pilar that she should be furious with him! Pilar says she is just upset that her family has caused them trouble, and excuses herself to do some work. Ivy asks Ethan what that was about, why did Pilar thanks Ethan? She tells him that she has excellent radar and wants to know what is up? Ethan tells her to get her radar checked, nothing is up. He says that Pilar came to him for advice. Ivy tells Ethan that he has such a good heart, and Ethan says he inherited it from her. Ivy says she has work to do and will miss Theresa. Ethan begins to wonder if letting Theresa off the hook was a mistake. Later, Ethan and Ivy search all over for the report Theresa typed for Ethan. Ivy says when Theresa was here she knew everything, she doesn't understand why Theresa quit. She hopes maybe Pilar can help her convince Theresa to come back to work. Ethan tells his mother to forget it, Theresa is not coming back into this house! Ivy asks Ethan what he has against Theresa? Ethan says it doesn't matter, so Ivy tells him to call Theresa. Ethan asks Pilar where Theresa is? Pilar says she is at the Chicken Coup. Ethan decides to go see Ethan, and Ivy asks him to ask Theresa about a dress she ordered for her. After Ethan leaves, Ivy asks Pilar if there is any way she can convince Theresa to come back to work? Pilar says no, that wouldn't work.

At the Chicken Coup, Theresa asks Whitney if she thinks her mom would tell Ethan she loves him? She says if she tells Ethan, Ethan would laugh at her and she would just die! Theresa thinks her mom wouldn't because she knows it would kill her. Whitney says what if Ethan asks her? Whitney says that Pilar can't lie to Ethan. Theresa doesn't think that would happen, and says as long as she lives she will never love another man. Whitney agrees, but Theresa tells Whitney that there will be others besides Frank. Whitney says she has had it with men, it felt awful to be called a liar by Frank. Theresa says the only reason it hurt is because Frank stirred up feelings inside of her, and she can't say she never wants to feel that way again. Whitney doesn't care what she says, she will not let some guy, especially Frank, get in the way of her tennis game. Theresa tells her that she'll be thinking of some other cute boy in no time. Whitney tells Theresa that she will make a mark in this world, just not as a Crane. Theresa wishes she could take away all the stupid things she did which ruined her future. Whitney tries to cheer her up by telling her a cute boy is checking her out, but she says there will never be another like Ethan. Theresa says she should call the mansion to make sure nothing happened to her mom. Pilar answers and tells her to relax, Ethan won't turn him in. Theresa asks her mom if she told Ethan she loved him? Pilar says of course she didn't, but the time has come for her to forget the Cranes and get on with her life. Theresa says she knows, and Pilar tells her that she will see her later. Whitney tells Theresa that her mother is right, she is not and never will be a Crane. Theresa tells Whitney that she didn't care about the fancy clothes and jewelry, it was more about the life that Ethan took away from her, like sitting at a table with a white table cloth and nice silverware. She says now she understands why her mom loves her job at the mansion so much. Ethan shows up at the Chicken Coup and hears Theresa telling Whitney that she doesn't blame Ethan for thinking she is a stalker. Ethan hides and hears Theresa telling Whitney how the Cranes are so perfect and its no wonder he can't understand how one person can screw things up as much as she has. Whitney tells Theresa to stop making herself sick, she'll probably never run into Ethan again. Theresa says she better not, because if she causes another accident she will go to jail! Ethan pops up from behind the bushes and calls out "Theresa!" Theresa quickly turns around, and as Theresa and Ethan walk towards one another, a chef walking by carrying bunch of eggs walks right in between them. Ethan and Theresa run right into him. and the eggs go soaring into the air. Theresa and Ethan both look up as the eggs are about to come raining down on them.

At the hospital, Simone tells Kay that what she has done with the tape is an all time low. As the tape plays, Kay tells Charity that she doesn't want Miguel, she hates Miguel. As Kay and Simone look into the room, they see Miguel about to remove the headphones from Charity's head! Lucky for Kay, Miguel was just adjusting the headphones. Simone tells Kay that she is evil, she is taking the one person in the world Charity has left outside of her family. Kay says that Charity should find someone else, Miguel's is hers! Kay says they should go to the cafeteria for some ice cream, and by the time they return Charity may have woken up and told Miguel she never wants to see him again. Moments after they leave, Jessica shows up. Miguel tells her that Charity is sleeping, so Jessica asks what is with the headphones? Miguel says it is music, and tells her that Charity has lost parts of her memory, including her memories of him. Jessica says it might just be shock, and Miguel hopes listening to music will bring Charity's memory back. Jessica thinks that is a good idea, but Miguel says it was Kay's idea. Kay and Simone return to the room, but right outside Kay tells Simone that Jessica will never learn about this scheme. Kay gives Miguel his favorite ice cream, butter crunch. Jessica takes Simone outside and asks what Kay is up to now? Simone says her lips are sealed, which makes JEssica all the more suspicious. Jessica confronts Kay, who says she is beyond petty little schemes. She says she is changed and cares for Charity. Jessica asks if she has really given up the idea of stealing Miguel from Charity. Kay says "As God as my witness," and Jessica bursts out laughing. Jessica refuses to believe her sister and goes inside Charity's room. Jessica asks Miguel about the tape, which Miguel hasn't heard. Jessica decides to see what is on the tape. Kay bursts in and says she can listen to the Cd's she made the tape from at home, but Jessica says she wants to listen to it now!

In LA, Chad goes someplace (a social workers office I think) and talks to a man named Henry. Henry is listening to Chad's song on the radio, and Chad says his boss stiffed him and refused to give him the credit. Henry asks Chad what he did when his boss told him he wouldn't get any credit? Chad says he laid the dude out. Henry realizes Chad got fired and is upset because he helped him get the job. Henry tells Chad that this is not cool at all. Chad says as long as he's fired, he might as well go back and show him what he really thinks of him. Henry tells him that will only get him thrown in jail. Chad says all he wanted was to make it himself. Henry tells CHad that life isn't always fair, but good people do win out. Chad doesn't believe that at all. Henry remembers when he was first brought here when he was eight. Chad doesn't remember much of his past, but he does remember running away and when he finally returned, his family had moved out. Chad says the foster homes that followed always lead to problems, his bad temper always got him kicked out of them. Henry tells him not to let his past ruin his future, but Chad doesn't think he has a future, nobody cares about him. Henry says he cares about him, but getting him back into the music business might be difficult now. Henry says he can get him a job as an orderly at the hospital, but Chad refuses to take a dead end job. Henry says that takes guts. He wishes someone could help him, and says it is too bad they can't find his family. Chad refuses to look for his family because they abandoned him. Besides, Chad says they never left a clue behind about where he could find them. Henry says they might have. Henry looks through Chad's file for and item found in his parents apartment when the left. The item is downstairs in storage, so Chad decides to take a look. Chad and Henry go down to storage and for some reason Chad thinks what is his is in a yellow shoe box. Henry finds it and hands it to Chad. Inside are a bunch of papers, which Chad thinks is junk. Henry takes a look at the papers and finds a headline from the Harmony Herald. In fact, someone has written his name in the corner of the paper. Harry says it might mean something, but Chad doubts it.
