Whitney and Theresa are walking home from the movie and pass the Chicken Coup, a new fast food place that is where the Burger Barn once was. Theresa looks inside and sees Ethan, and Gwen. She rants and raves to Whitney that she belongs with Ethan, and he doesn't know it yet but he belongs with her. Theresa thinks if she could only explain everything to him he would realize he belongs with her. Theresa wants to go in and tell him everything, but Whitney says no way! Whitney tells Theresa that she is going to get them a cab, and she is not to go inside! Whitney leaves, and Theresa sees a girl from the Chicken Coup come outside and remove the stupid chicken mask they are forced to wear. Theresa gets an idea, and leaves. When Whitney returns she finds Theresa gone, and Frank there! Whitney claims she is looking for a stray cat to feed, but Frank doesn't buy it. They end up going inside for a cup of coffee.
Inside, Gwen is still worried about the girl from the theater, but Ethan tells her that she has nothing to worry about. Ethan eventually realizes this is the old Burger Hut, and Gwen wants to leave because she fears the stalker could return. However, because it is the only place open and they are both hungry, they stay. Ethan tells Gwen that he has a poem to recite to her that describes his ideal woman, but he can't remember anything past the first line. Gwen excuses herself to go to the powder room, and Theresa, disguised in a chicken mask, approaches Ethan to tell him the truth. Ethan takes one look at Theresa's eyes and recites the poem to her. Theresa thinks Ethan really does love her, but when Gwen returns he recites the poem to her as well. Theresa is crushed, and runs out of the restaurant. Whitney follows her, and Ethan realizes the waitress was his stalker. Ethan goes into the back room where Theresa ran to, and when he unmasks a girl back there, it isn't Theresa. Gwen thinks that being in this place has stirred up memories of the stalker, and Ethan agrees. Outside, Theresa swears she is through with Ethan Crane.
Out on the road, Tabitha is burned alive by the priests holy water and screams that she's turning to ashes. Timmy tells her to roll up the window, so she does. However, the priest pulls out a cross and begins praying. Timmy fetches some crow feathers from Tabitha's glove compartment, but they are no match for the priest. Tabitha quickly backs away from him, and drives all the way home in reverse. BAck at home, Timmy constantly tells Tabitha that she failed, she blew it. The force in the basement becomes extremely upset. Tabitha rushes to her scrying bowl to see what is going on at the Standish home, but she sees nothing. Tabitha says that she has lost her powers, and faints. Timmy tries to waken her, but a weird green smoke emanates from her mouth.
At the Standish home, the fire chief tells Sam that all the fire trucks from all surrounding counties are in Dansville trying to contain a factory explosions. Miguel wants to go inside to save Charity, but the chief says no one is allowed to go in before his men show up. The chief comments that he's never seen a fire with such intensity, but Sam says he has. Sam says his fire is exactly like the one he pulled Grace out of. Miguel, who is tired of waiting, rushes inside to save Charity, only to be clobbered by falling debris. Miguel asks God to save Charity, and outside, the angel looks up to the heavens and asks God to do something. Suddenly, it begins to rain. Miguel eventually rescues Charity, but they don't know if she is alive. Grace suddenly feels tremendous pain, as if a part of her just died, and she screams Faith's name. Back at the church, the angel appears to the priest and tells him it is too early to know if the souls have been saved, but the night is still young. She then says "Poor Charity, poor Miguel" over and over.
Ethan comes home to the mansion and finds Sheridan on the living room floor sobbing. Sheridan tells Ethan that she doesn't remember how she got here. Ethan tells her that she must have been sleep walking. Sheridan remembers her terrible dream, and tells Ethan about that night. Sheridan asks Ethan what he remembers? Ethan remembers hearing an argument as she stood by the coffin, and he wasn't supposed to tell anyone about that night. The next day, she was gone and he never saw her for years. He says he didn't know anything until she told him some details years later. Ethan asks her to please tell him what happened that night. Sherdian says she only remembers being told she was responsible for the body in the coffin. SHe says she was sent to France, and the doctors there convinced her that the night was all in her head, it was just a bad dream. However, the moment she walked into this house she knew it wasn't a dream, she killed someone. Sheridan tells him what happened tonight and how Luis has been question his mom about that night. Ethan is positive that Pilar won't say anything, and nobody will ever find out about that night. Sheridan cries that she wishes she could forget about it and says she fears that night will haunt her for the rest of her life. Ethan comes up with an idea on how they can find out what happened that night.
Ethan and Sheridan go to the newspaper office to see if they can find any records of what happened that night. Sheridan isn't sure she wants to know, but Ethan says the truth might be different from what she remembers. As they search, Luis and Hank show up. Luis has his gun drawn when he enters the office, and asks Ethan and Sheridan what in the hell they are doing here? Hank walks in and wonders what is going on? Ethan explains things to Luis, and Hank checks on Sheridan to see how she is doing. Ethan tells Luis that his family owns this paper, and wasn't aware that there was a silent alarm. Luis wants to know what they were doing here, but Ethan refuses to answer any questions because there is no burglary in progress. Hank suggest they go, but Luis refuses to leave until he finds out what they were doing here. Eventually, Luis decides to let them go since there was no crime committed. Luis and Hank leave, and Sheridan says she can't take much more of this. Ethan says he has found nothing about that night in the paper. Sheridan remembers that the family bought the paper right after that night, obviously to cover it up. Elsewhere, Luis tells Hank that something is definitely going on with Sheridan, and he will find out what they are covering up.
At the Bennetts' house, Jessica and Charity are still arguing about Miguel as they watch the TV. They see Miguel bring Charity out of the house, and Simone says that Charity looks like she is dead. Kay says that Miguel is such a hero, that's why she loves him and has to have him. Jessica yells at Kay for only thinking about herself. Simone tells them both to shut up so she can hear the TV, and tells Kay that Jessica is right. Simone hopes that Kay really doesn't want Charity and her mom dead just so she can have Miguel. Kay says she doesn't want them to die, she was just stating the obvious that Miguel would be free if Charity died. As they watch, Jessica tells Kay that Charity and Miguel will be together forever after this. Kay tells her to shut up, and that maybe Charity won't make it. As they argue, Reese shows up. He says he knocked on the door and nobody answered, so he decided to come up. Reese says he is going to the hospital to be with Miguel and wanted to see if they wanted to come with him? They all do, but Kay asks for them to wait for her. After they all leave the room, Kay says she and Miguel belong together and there is nothing she wouldn't do for him.
At the Standish house, Miguel brings Charity out of the fire, and Eve takes care of her. Grace asks about her sister, but Miguel didn't see her. He rushes back to the house to save Charity's mom. However, Sam and the chief are able to grab him before he gets in. An ambulance shows up and Eve tells Sam that Charity is critical, they have to get her to the hospital. Sam asks Grace to go to the hospital with Eve, but Grace refuses to leave her sister. Sam tells her that there is nothing else she can do here. Grace wishes she had found Faith sooner. Sam tells Grace that he will take her to the hospital, he doubts they can help Faith now, but they may be able to help Charity,
At the hospital, Sam, Grace, and Miguel wait for information on Charity. Eve and a Dr. Kendell work on Charity. Sam asks Eve what she thinks? Eve says it is too soon to tell, but it doesn't look good. Miguel asks Sam what Dr. Russell said about Charity? Sam says that Charity is still unconscious. Eve wants to check Miguel out, but he refuses to do anything until he knows Charity is out of danger. Simone and Jessica show up and Grace tells them that Charity is seriously hurt. Kay and Reese find Miguel to see how he is. Miguel says he is find, but Charity is in trouble. Kay tells Miguel that she'll stay with him. Kay can't believe he risked his life for Charity. Miguel says he would gladly give his life for Charity, she is all that matters. Sam says they all should go home, but they refuse. Grace doesn't understand why her family has been taken from her right when she found them. Sam says she still has Charity. Grace tells Sam that they can't let Charity die, Faith was so afraid something like this would happen to Charity. Eve tells them all that Charity has a head injury and is still unconscious, but she is breathing on her own which is a good sign. Miguel asks to see Charity, and goes in to see her. Kay wants to follow, but Simone stops her. Simone tells her that she doesn't want Miguel finding out how she feels about Charity. Kay tells Simone that she does care about her cousin, but Miguel comes first. Sam learns the fire has been put out, but there is no trace of Faith yet. In Charity's room, Miguel asks Charity not to die on him.
Luis and Hank go back to Luis house, Luis is more suspicious than ever about Sheridan. Miguel gives Luis a call from the hospital to tell him what is going on. Miguel tells Luis that he won't be home tonight. Meanwhile, Theresa and Whitney are walking home, Theresa can't get Ethan's love poem out of her head. Whitney tells Theresa that poem was for Gwen, she needs to face reality. Theresa knows she is right and the time has come for her to stop dreaming of Ethan. As they enter the house they hear Luis and Hank talking about the fire. Luis and Hank decide to go the hospital to see how things are, and Whitney and Theresa also want to go with them.
At the hospital, Kay is telling Simone that if Charity doesn't make it, she will be there to comfort Miguel. Simone can't believe Kay is saying this and asks if she cares at all that Charity might die like her mother? Kay says of course she does, she isn't a monster, but asks her to sympathize with her for a bit. Simone is appalled and says all she cares about is herself and whether she gets Miguel.
TC shows up, and Sam asks about Grace. Eve says she's finally taken a sedative and is resting. Sam tells them all that the Castleton fire department says the house is still too hot to go in, but once it cools down they will find out what happened to Faith. Sam says one thing, until Faith's body is found he is not giving up hope. Miguel asks Eve what the news on CHarity is, why isn't she waking up? Eve says there is nothing new to report right now, until the swelling in Charity's brain goes down they can't tell what is going on. Miguel sits by Charity's bed and asks her to open her eyes and come back to him.
Frank, Ethan, and Sheridan show up at the hospital. Sheridan goes to fill out paperwork, and Ethan tells Frank to give up on the stalker issue. Frank assures Ethan that he will find out what Whintey knows tomorrow. He also says he doesn't want to find out Whitney is lying to him, but he has doubts. Ethan is taken to ER and is examined by Eve. Eve asks Sheridan to wait in the waiting room, and when she sees Luis she decides to leave the room.
Miguel goes back out into the waiting room and asks Simone and Kay what is going on, he walked in on the tail end of Simone telling Kay that all she cares about is getting Miguel. Simone quickly switches the subject, and luckily Hank, Luis, Theresa, and Whitney arrive. TC is upset to see Whitney up so late. Whitney points out that Simone is here, but TC says Simone doesn't have tennis lessons in the morning. When Whitney says she can't think about that right now, TC tells her that she has to think about Tennis ALL the time. Whitney says she never misses a lesson and she hears him. He tells her then it is agreed, nothing comes between her and tennis until she wins gold at the Olympics. Whitney walks away, and Eve knows that TC was giving their daughter the tennis comes first lecture. Eve tells TC that soon Whitney will have boys on her mind. TC asks if Whitney has a boyfriend? Eve says not yet, but she will one day soon. Whitney happens to see Frank, and freaks out because he might see Theresa. Whitney yanks Theresa behind a hospital screen and tells Theresa that Frank and Ethan are here! When Theresa learns Ethan is in pain, she says she has to go to him. Whitney tells her to wake up, Luis is here and he could arrest them both! Theresa says she wouldn't want that, but she has to know what is going on with Ethan.
In the exam room, Eve can't tell if Ethan's foot is broken or not, but she asks him to take off his shirt to make sure he didn't hurt anything else in the fall. Eve notice some welts on Ethan's back, and he says that is not from tonight. He explains how he got the welts. Back in the waiting room, Theresa decides to make a run for it when Frank is busy talking on the phone. She looks inside the window of the room Ethan is in and starts gasping "Oh, Ethan has his shirt off!" When she sees the welts on his back she feels really bad. Frank heads towards Ethan's room, so Theresa and Whitney haul butt. Ethan is put in a wheel chair and Frank wheels him to x-ray. As Ethan and Frank talk in the x-ray room, Theresa and Whitney spy on them. Ethan and Frank talk about women, and Theresa is positive Ethan is talking about her. However, her hopes are smashed when Ethan says he has the ideal woman, Gwen.
Outside, Sheridan sees a body being loaded out of an ambulance and has more flashbacks. As she says "when will the awful night end," she is surprised by Hank. Hank asks Sheridan what is wrong with Ethan? Sheridan says that he just hurt his ankle, its just been one of those nights. Hank knows she's talking about Luis, and he tells Sheridan that Luis is a good guy, he is just kinda curious. Luis shows up and says he is a curious kind of guy, and asks how Ethan hurt his ankle. Sheridan tells Luis that is no concern of his. Hank tells Luis to give it a rest, but Luis keeps on questioning her. He asks her why she's so defensive? Sheridan wonders why he is so offensive, and walks off.
Sheridan goes to see Eve and asks if she could prescribe her some medicine to help her sleep at night. Eve talks with Sheridan, who says her insomnia didn't start until she returned to Harmony. Eve asks her what about Harmony has caused her insomnia. SHeridan tells Eve that she probably can't understand this, but it is her past which is upsetting her. Eve understands Sheridan's problems all to well and remembers Tabitha, disguised as a fortune teller, telling her that she knows her secret. Eve gives her a prescription, but suggests an alternative treatment if her insomnia continues. Eve suggests Sheridan try hypnosis. Later, Ethan is allowed to leave, his ankle isn't broken after all.
Miguel goes back to Charity's room and asks God to spare Charity. As he tells God how much Charity means to him, Kay spies on him and is positive Miguel will feel that way about her someday. Simone says as long as Charity is alive, Miguel will only want her. Kay says "yeah, as long as she is alive!"
Sam learns that the fire is completely out, so he decided to go to the house to look around. TC decides to go with him. Sam asks Eve to tell Grace where he's gone in case she wakes up, but he's hoping she'll sleep for awhile.
Eve tells all the girls that they have to go home, Whitney decides to stay over at Theresa's and Simone is going to stay with Kay. Before leaving, Kay tells Miguel that she has to leave but he is to call her if he needs her. Miguel thanks her and tells her that she is a good friend. Later, Eve tells Miguel to go home because they will know more in the morning. Miguel wants to know what she knows now. Eve says it doesn't looks good, Charity is not responding.
Kay dreams that Charity dies, and Kay tells Miguel that she and Charity had a pact, when she died she wanted the two of them to be together. However, her dream turns to a nightmare when Charity comes back to life and tells Kay that she is a liar! Charity gets out of bed, throws Kay to the floor, and then runs into Miguel's arms. Suddenly, Kay wakes up and finds Simone pouring a bucket of water on her. Kay asks what she is doing? Simone says she was talking in her sleep and she is a worse monster than she ever thought she was. Simone grabs her stuff and leaves. Kay cries that Charity will not win!
Theresa dreams that she is Ethan's wife and they have a number of children, and Whitney dreams of a romantic future with Frank. When they wake up, each knows who the other was dreaming about.
Sherdian goes back home and once again dreams of her troubled childhood. As a young girl she wonders why her hands are covered in blood and asks "What did I do?" She says that nobody will ever love her. The young Sheridan disappears, and a man in a black trench coat and hat approaches Sheridan and whispers something in her ear. The man then hugs Sheridan, and she asks him who he is.
TC and Sam go to the Standish home and go through what is left of it. Sam says nobody could have gotten out of this alive. The fire chief says this is one of the worst fires he's ever seen.
At the hospital, Miguel is still at Charity's bedside. Kay tells Simone that she doesn't understand why Miguel has to spend every waking hour with CHarity. Simone tells Kay that Miguel loves her, he did run into a fire to save her. Kay says Miguel would do that for anyone. Kay wishes out loud that Miguel would give up on Charity. Simone asks Kay if she really wants Charity to die so she can get Miguel? Kay says of course not, but Simone tells her that she is probably having fantasies of comforting Miguel at the funeral. Kay says she knows what she is going to wear. Simone is appalled, but Kay says it doesn't hurt to be prepared. Kay says she does wants Charity to get well, but this is not her fault. Simone says that is debatable, if she hadn't kept the truth from Charity and her mom this may not have happened. Kay says she did not start this fire, and if Charity dies than Miguel should be hers. As she utters those words, Miguel steps out of Charity's room. Unfortunately, Miguel did not hear Kay, he just wanted to thank them for what their support. He recommends that they go over to school because there is nothing they can do. Kay pretends to feel bad about Faith and Charity. Miguel asks them to get his school assignments for him, and Kay says he can come over and they can do their homework together. Miguel's refuses to leave CHarity's side and says he will do his homework here. Miguel goes back into Charity's room, and his hopes are lifted when Charity moves her hand. Charity wakes up and says "Miguel!" As they are about to kiss, Miguel wakes up from his dream. He urges Charity to open her eyes.
Whitney is late for school due to her tennis lessons. Whitney promises the secretary at the office that it won't happen again. Theresa heads to class, and Frank Lomax shows up to talk with the secretary. He shows her his credentials and shows her the picture of Whitney and Theresa. He asks her to ID the girl with Whitney in the picture, but the secretary says she can't give out that information. Frank asks for a yearbook, but she says no. Frank assures her that he isn't going to hurt this girl, but the secretary says without parental permission she can't give out any information. Frank leaves the office and waits for the secretary to leave as well, and then he goes back in and looks through the class photos and finds out Theresa is the stalker!
Whitney hangs some of her photos up in her locker, but can't find the one of her and Theresa. Kay and Simone show up for school and talk with Whitney for a bit. Whitney and Simone head to class, and Frank questions Kay about Theresa. Kay says Theresa has arranged her classes to work for some rich person, but she doesn't know who. Later, Whitney runs into Frank in the hallway. Frank is angry at her for lying to him, he shows her the photograph and tells her that he knows everything! He knows Theresa is the stalker. He says that her friend's game is over, he's going to the Crane mansion to have Theresa arrested! Frank leaves and Whitney rushes into the office to try and warn Theresa, but the secretary tells her to go to class now!
Kay and Simone return to the hospital after school to give Miguel his homework. Miguel and Simone step out of the room for a moment, leaving Kay alone with Charity. Kay eyes Charity's oxygen supply and runs her finger around the button which can turn it off!
At the Crane mansion, Ethan is in bed and has Theresa by the wrist. He yells that she is the girl who is stalking him, but Theresa says she isn't! Ethan yanks her hard, and she falls onto his bed! Ethan wakes up and wonders what Theresa is doing almost on top of him. She tells him that she wasn't stalking him, and Ethan realizes that in the middle of his dream, which was about him catching his stalker, he grabbed Theresa by mistake. Ethan apologizes, and they both giggle over it. Ethan notices something about her eyes, and asks if he hurt her? She says she is fine, and as she goes to get out of his bed, her necklace gets stuck on his shirt. Outside his room, Ivy and Gwen talk as they approach the door to his room. Gwen is upset to learn that Ethan hurt himself and wished she was there for him. Ivy tells Gwen she could be there for Ethan all the time, and asks when she and Ethan are going to get married? Gwen says she loves Ethan, but something is keeping him from proposing. Ivy tells Gwen that Ethan would never cheat on her. Gwen knows that, and they enter his room to check on him. They see Theresa on top of Ethan, and Ethan and Theresa's attempt to unhook Theresa's necklace from his shirt look like something entirely different from Gwen and Ivy's perspective! Gwen shouts out "Ethan!" and Theresa and Ethan both look towards the door. They both explain everything, and Ivy helps Theresa get unstuck. Gwen tells her poor baby that he wouldn't be having these nightmares if she was with him all the time. Ivy suggests she and Theresa leave these two to plan a wedding. Ethan feels bad about what he did to Theresa and thinks he should do something nice. Gwen is upset, and Ethan realizes Gwen is jealous. Outside, Ivy tells Theresa that after she makes some phone calls she'd like her opinion on a dress she plans to wear to a upcoming charity ball. Theresa listens at Ethan's door and hears Ethan tell Gwen that Theresa is not a threat to her. Ethan assures Gwen that Theresa is not his type, they don't have enough in common to last one for one date, let alone a lifetime. Later, Gwen tells Ethan that Theresa has a crush on him, but Ethan says he is not in love with her. Still, Ethan says their something familiar about Theresa's eyes.
Theresa is devastated by what she heard and wished Ethan could see her as she really is. Ivy shows up with the dress to show Theresa, but finds her in tears. Ivy asks her what is wrong? Theresa says she can't work for her any longer, and that she quits. Ivy doesn't understand, she thought she liked her job? Ivy asks if someone has been rude or unkind to her? Theresa says no, everyone has been great. Ivy asks if it is the stalker, is she afraid? Theresa says no, and says she just can't stay. Ivy thinks it is because it is what happened with Ethan. Theresa says that is not it either, she has made up her mind. She claims that she needs more time for school. Suddenly, Whitney calls the mansion to speak with Theresa. Whitney tries to warn her about Frank, but Theresa says she is leaving now and hangs up. Theresa goes to pack up what stuff she has before leaving.
Outside the mansion, Frank shows up to nail Theresa. He rings the doorbell and Ivy answers it. Frank tells a shocked Ivy that Ethan's stalker is Theresa!
