At the cottage, Hank tells Luis that he knows he's hurting, but this relationship was doomed from the start. Luis says that he and Sheridan were finally starting to get along, and he's convinced that the Crane men have something to do with this misunderstanding. He says he always knew Julian and Alistair were evil, but now he knows that Ethan is just as bad as they are. Hank tells Luis that he may have issues with the Cranes, but he (Hank) doesn't, so he's going to make a play for Sheridan now that he has the field to himself. Inside, Sheridan is thinking about Luis and is in tears. Luis sees Sheridan crying and goes in to comfort her. The two stare into one another's eyes. Sheridan asks him what he wants? Luis tells her that he just wants her to listen to him, they've come so far and have come so close to building something. Luis asks Sheridan to just listen to what he has to say. Luis tells her that he didn't say those things, and he tells her to believe in him. He insists that he would never betray her. Sheridan says she wishes she could just say yes, but that would be regressing to the way she used to be. Luis tells her that they just need to get by this misunderstanding. Sheridan says it is more than a misunderstanding. Luis tells her what they have is so special, so she shouldn't let it die. Still, Sheridan tells Luis that she can't be with a man unless she can trust him, so he needs to be honest with her. Sheridan tells Luis that they are alone now, it will be there secret. Sheridan thinks that is the reason Luis said he didn't say he lied earlier, he was too proud to admit in front of Hank and Julian that he said those things. Luis contemplates lying to Sheridan in order for her to forgive him, but he tells her that he just can't. He says that his life is based on the truth, and the truth is that he'd never use her. Sheridan tells him that they have no future together. Suddenly, Gwen shows up. She apologizes for interrupting and says she will come back later, but Luis says he was just leaving. Luis leaves, and Sheridan tells Gwen that the last thing she needs to be doing is baby-sitting her. Sheridan asks Gwen if she talked to Ethan today? Gwen says she has. When Sheridan asks her if she is all right, Gwen says she is. Sheridan tells her that she is so strong and brave to be here comforting her when she's still dealing with the cancellation. Gwen freaks and yells "Cancellation!" Gwen demands to know what she's talking about. When Sheridan says she thought she talked to Ethan, Gwen realizes that Ethan is going to call off the wedding.
Back outside, Roger phones Hank on his cell phone, which is now working again. Roger tells Hank that if he does not kill Sheridan then he will let everyone in Harmony know what kind of man he is. Hank refuses to kill Sheridan, so Roger plays a tape for Hank of him agreeing to set up Sheridan to be killed. Roger says not only will Luis arrest him, but his brother Sam will probably lose his job. Hank tells Roger no way. Roger warns Hank that if he doesn't kill Sheridan, he will find someone to do it, and then he'll be next on his list! Luis comes outside and talks with Hank, who tells Luis to just give it up. Hank says if they were supposed to be together than it would have worked out. Still, Luis is positive that Julian and Ethan are manipulating the situation. Hank says he's not so sure about that, but Luis is. Luis says he's sick of the Cranes screwing with his life, and he's going to make Julian and Ethan pay! Hank thinks Luis should just call off this vendetta, but Luis refuses. He says that Ethan poisoned Sheridan's mind, and he's going to rip him apart if he looks at him or another member of his family.
At the Bennett's, Miguel is on the swing reading when Simone and New Kay show up. Kay says this is her chance to break Charity and Simone up now that Charity is no where to be found. Kay tells Simone that she's going to go talk to Miguel and try and get him up to her room where she can seduce him. Simone asks her if she is crazy, but realizes she is. Kay tells Simone to just keep an eye out for Charity. Kay and Simone approach Miguel, who tells them that he and Charity are planning to go up to the old ruins to explore them for their project. Kay thinks that sounds like fun, and then she ask Miguel for a really big favor. Kay claims a drawer in her room is stuck and she really needs to get into it. Miguel says he is kinda waiting for Charity, but agrees to take a look at it. Unfortunately for Kay, Reese shows up and tells Kay that he's been looking for her because they really need to start on their school project. Miguel decides to go check on Charity, and Reese talks to Kay about their project. He has downloaded information on a particular heather that the Vikings brought over and planted in the mountains to make them feel more at home, and he thinks . . . .Suddenly, Miguel realizes that everyone has suddenly vanished!
Inside, Evil Charity has caught Tabitha and Timmy trying to steal the pendant and decides to exterminate them once and for all. Charity's hand begins to glow, and Timmy tries to run for it. Unfortunately, Charity summons up a hound from hell which stops Timmy cold. Evil Charity tells Tim- Tim that he's not going anywhere because her little puppy will follow him wherever he goes. Timmy runs back to Tabitha, and Charity magically transports herself back to the kitchen. She threatens to turn the both of them into little piles of dust. In order to save their hides, Tabitha tells Evil Charity that the Good Charity is considering going up to the ruins! Evil Charity says they can't have that. Tabitha tells her that she'll need their help to stop Charity, but Evil Charity says they can handle Charity all on their own. Evil Charity raises her hands again, which begin to glow red once more. Fortunately for Tabitha and Timmy, Miguel shows up, so Charity turns back to normal. Kay and Simone soon show up, and wonder why Tabitha is here. Tabitha says she just came by to tell Charity and Miguel that they need not go up to the ruins because they can learn everything they need to know via the computer and through books. Miguel says he was thinking the same thing, but then he changes his mind because he thinks the "hands on" experience would be more valuable. Tabitha says it is so late, so Kay suggests they all go up to the ruins and camp out. Tabitha whispers "what a colossally stupid idea!" Timmy asks her what will happen if they go to the ruins? Tabitha sees Evil Charity's face and thinks they're problem is solved, the kids will be lucky if they get out of this kitchen alive! Simone tells Kay that this is a bad idea, and she decides to tag along when Miguel invites her. She thinks she will be able to keep her out of trouble. Tabitha and Timmy attempt to escape, but Evil Charity stops them. She tells them that they are lucky they don't have time to deal with her right now because they need to use all the powers of the pendant to stop Charity from going to the ruins. Suddenly, nosey Reese asks Charity if he can take a look at her pendant. Charity says okay, but asks why? Reese says he's been studying design and would like to figure out it's origins. Charity says that sounds interesting and she'll help him. Tabitha continues to try and dissuade the kids from going up to the mountains, but they all tell her that her fears are unfounded. Still, Tabitha says there are countless dangerous up there. Kay tells SImone that it would be great if something horrible happened to Charity while they were up there. Miguel and the others get their camping supplies together while Reese continues to research the pendant. Reese has the pendant, so Charity is no longer lapsing into her evil state of being.
At the mansion, Pilar brings Ivy her dress for the party. Pilar notices that Ivy looks sad, and she asks if it is the wedding? Ivy says she wishes Sam could come to his own son's wedding. Ivy tells Pilar that she always dreamed Sam would know the truth about Ethan by now and they would be together. Pilar reminds her what Ethan would lose, but Ivy says it was only a dream. Pilar warns Ivy to stop having such dreams or she and Ethan will lose everything. Still, Ivy wishes there was some way Sam could come to the wedding. Pilar tells her that it is impossible, but Ivy thinks not.
Outside of the cottage, Luis thinks that Julian, and especially Ethan, have gotten to Sheridan. He hopes that when Ethan is married and takes on the responsibilities of the Crane Empire he won't have time to meddle in his life. Luis even suspects that Ethan sent Gwen to warn Sheridan to stay away from him. Hank tells him that he needs to back off of his hatred for the Cranes. Luis is just glad that Theresa got over Ethan, and he tells Hank that Theresa has a real boyfriend now. In the cottage, Gwen begins to cry that her mother was right, she never should have left Ethan alone for so long. Sheridan quickly covers and tells Gwen that she didn't say Ethan was canceling the wedding. Gwen thinks that Sheridan must be talking about the orchestra canceling, and blames this all on pre-wedding jitters. Gwen says that Ethan would never cancel on her this close to the wedding because she would just die. She says that she has dreamt of marrying Ethan for so long, and she doesn't know what she'd do without him. Sheridan begins to cry. Gwen tells her that she is supposed to cry at her wedding, not before. Gwen then tells Sheridan that she needs to borrow a pair of shoes from her for the wedding. Sheridan tells her that she can have the pair of shoes she wants. Gwen calls Sheridan a doll and wishes that she could have been her maid of honor. Sheridan wishes so too, but she says the FBI wouldn't allow her with the drug cartel after her. Gwen reminds her of the pact they maid to be one another's maid of honor, but Sheridan says it is okay. Sheridan goes to get Gwen the shoes she wants, and Gwen thanks her again. Later, Luis tells Sheridan that he's leaving because he has things to do, so Crane security will take over. Luis leaves, and Gwen asks what is going on with the two of them? Sheridan says that Luis isn't the man she thought he was. Gwen tells her that she'll find the perfect man, but Sheridan says he doesn't exist. Gwen says they do because she found one, her and Ethan's relationship is based on love and trust. Gwen decides to leave and hopes that she gets no more surprises before her wedding. Sheridan realizes how hurt Gwen is going to be, and she wonders why Ethan hasn't told Gwen the truth yet.
Grace is working in her shop when Eve shows up. Grace asks Eve if she can help her make some decorations. Eve says sure, and asks what they are for. Grace says they are for Rebecca Hotchkiss' party for Ethan and Gwen, and it was Ivy who asked her to make them. Eve rolls her eyes, and Grace tells her that she knows how she feels about Ivy, but Ivy has given her a lot of business this year. Eve finds Grace's book about interpreting dreams, and they start talking about dreams. Grace tells Eve about a woman holding a small boy perusing Sam. Grace says that at the time she thought someone was trying to take Sam away from her, but now she knows that is ridiculous. Later, Ivy shows up and she tells Grace and Eve that neither them nor their husbands have RSVP'd to the wedding invites. Grace says they didn't get an invitation, and Eve doesn't understand why she is inviting ordinary people to the wedding of the year. Eve asks what the real reason she is inviting them to the wedding is? Ivy says that she wants Sam at the wedding for Ethan's sake, and she will tell them exactly why. Pilar waits outside the shop and prays that Ivy doesn't go through with this plan of hers. Ivy tells Grace and Eve that Sam and Ethan have to work together, and she knows they have been having problems, so what better place to make up than at a wedding. Ivy tells them that she expects them to attend the party and the wedding, but Grace is concerned because this is all so last minute. Ivy pretends to blame Theresa for this and says she will just have to fire Theresa for this mistake. Grace agrees to attend the party if Ivy will let Theresa off the hook. Ivy also hopes she will get to see Eve and TC there. Eve warns Ivy that she better not hurt Grace or she will make her pay! Ivy tells Eve not to threaten her! They both flash their blackmail, but realize this is a no win situation. Grace asks Eve to go to the party with her and Sam, for her sake, so Eve agrees to go. Ivy leaves, and Eve tells Grace that this is not a good idea. Grace says she knows how they all feel about the Cranes, but Ivy is right about Sam and Ethan getting along. Eve tries to warn Grace that Ivy may have an ulterior motive for inviting them to this wedding. Suddenly, Sam and TC show up, and Sam wonders what they are talking about. Grace tells them that they've been invited to Ethan and Gwen's party and wedding, but Sam says "No way!" and TC adds "Hell no!" Sam tells Grace that they are not going, but Grace says Ivy is her friend and this might help him and Ethan get along. TC says he doesn't know why he should go to this wedding. Grace reminds him that the Cranes donated a lot of money and equipment to the school, and she tells Eve that the Cranes donated a lot of money to the hospital. Grace says they really need to get along with the Cranes for all their sakes, plus she really wants to see the inside of the Hotchkiss mansion. Sam says "So the real reason comes out!" Sam says he really doesn't want to go, but he agrees to do so for her. TC and Eve also agree to go, but they say they aren't staying long. Meanwhile, Julian catches Ivy spying on the locals and asks what she is up to? Ivy tells him that she's invited the Bennetts and the Russells to the party and the wedding. Julian is not pleased, and hopes no one mentions tennis to TC.
At the club, as Ethan and Theresa share a passionate kiss, Rebecca shows up and catches them. She tells herself that Theresa is a lying little tramp! She says she has to put a stop to this right now, little Miss Lopez-Fitzgerald may not live to see another day! Ethan tells Theresa that he loves her so much, which Rebecca hears. Rebecca says this is worse than she thought, Ethan thinks he is in love with the little tramp! Then another blow, Rebecca overhears Ethan tell Theresa that he still has to tell Gwen that the wedding is off. It is too much for Rebecca to handle, so she passes out. Ethan and Theresa kiss again, not realizing they have been discovered. Theresa decides to tell Luis, and Ethan wants to be there with her. Theresa tells him no, he will have enough problems as is dealing with the families he has to tell. Theresa says she doesn't even want to think about how Rebecca will react. Rebecca, who is still out cold, dreams of choking Theresa. Ethan gets a call from a very angry Sheridan who orders Ethan over to the cottage. Ethan and Theresa leave, and waiter helps Rebecca up. Rebecca chases after them in order to stop them from calling off this wedding.
Theresa goes home and meets up with Luis. She asks Luis if something is wrong, he looks kind of down? Luis tells her that he doesn't want to talk about it because it will only bring her down. Theresa asks Luis how things are going with him and Sheridan? Luis says they aren't, they are over. Luis says it is own damn fault for getting involved with a Crane, and he hates them all. Luis explains how Sheridan thinks she overheard him saying he wanted to use her, but he thinks their real problems are all Ethan's fault. Luis is sure that Ethan is trying to convince Sheridan that he only wants to use her. Theresa says that can't be, Ethan is not like that! Luis asks her how she knows, what does Ethan mean to her?
Back at the cottage, Sheridan demands to know why Ethan hasn't told Gwen that he's canceling the wedding! Ethan asks where this is coming from? Sheridan tells Ethan about her little slip. Ethan says he has tried to tell Gwen, but they keep getting interrupted. Ethan says he doesn't want to hurt Gwen. Sheridan tells Ethan that perhaps he's just coming up with these excuses not to tell Gwen because he doesn't love Theresa as much as he thinks he does. Ethan says she is wrong, he does love Theresa and will call off the wedding. Sheridan tells him to just do it. Ethan says he's not only concerned about Gwen, but Theresa as well. Ethan tells Sheridan that Theresa is going to tell Luis about them tonight. Sheridan says this is not a good thing, Luis was just ranting about how much he hated the Crane men. Ethan says he's not worried, but Sheridan tells him that he should be. She tells him that he's lighting a fuse which will set off bombs all over Harmony, and no one's life will ever be the same.
Back at the Hotckiss Mansion, Rebecca finds Gwen and suggests she sits down because she has something terrible to tell her about Ethan and Theresa. Gwen tells her mother that she doesn't want to hear it, Theresa is her friend and Ethan has declared his love to her over and over again. Gwen tells her mom that whatever is wrong to take care of it herself! Gwen stomps out of the room, and Rebecca picks up a letter opener and says she will do whatever it takes to make sure this wedding goes on as planned!
Up in Sam and Grace's bedroom, Sam and Grace are getting ready for the party. Grace says she understands why he, TC, and Eve don't like Julian, but Ivy has nothing but nice to them, and she seems very unhappy with her life. Grace says she's heard that Julian sleep around, and she doesn't know how Ivy can live with that kind of betrayal. However, Grace says it could be worse, there are men who have children with other women. Grace says that would just kill her. Sam tells her that he would never look at another woman and he won't have any illegitimate children knocking on the back door. Grace thanks Sam for being a sport and going to this party with her tonight. She also tells him that playing nice with them will ensure he keeps his job. She also knows that his dream is to be named State Police Commissioner, and that won't happen if he keeps getting into arguments with Ethan. Sam says that Ethan is the one starting the trouble, so Grace tells him to rise above it. Sam tells Grace that they have to spend the evening with these people, so he'd rather not talk about them for the time being. Sam has more romantic ways to pass the time on his mind, but Grace laughs and says they don't have time for that because she has to take a shower. Sam says he does too, and they both run into the bathroom together. Sam and Grace come out of the shower, wet and in towels, and Grace tells Sam "after the party!" Eventually the towels come off, and Sam and Grace get down to business. Outside their room, Kay and Simone show up, and Kay plans to go in and get one of her mom's negligees. Kay and Simone look in and see Kay's parents doing it, and make faces and say "Ew gross!" Kay and Simone both agree that there should be a law that people with kids over the age of twenty-nine should NOT be allowed to have sex, except for Kay and Miguel of course. Simone suggests they change the subject.
At Tabitha's house, Timmy has a nightmare about Evil Charity attacking him and Tabitha. Tabitha wakes Timmy up and asks him to be a good lad and go spy on the kids at the Bennett's for her. Timmy says this day has been stressful enough as is, he wants to relax, and is thinking of retiring to the Hamptons. Tabitha tells him that he can forget about that life if those brats go snooping around the old Harmony ruins. Timmy asks what is so important about the ruins? Tabitha tells him to just trust her, if they go snooping in those ruins, the two of them won't live to see the next re-run of Will and Grace. Tabitha spies on the kids with a spying glass, and she sees that Reese still has the pendant. Tabitha realizes that they need to get the pendant back on Charity because she is the only one who can stop those kids from going to the ruins. Timmy asks Tabitha what she is so afraid of them finding? Tabitha tells him not to ask because it is just too grisly to speak of. Tabitha whips out her tarot cards to see what is going to happen. The cards predict two disasters in Harmony tonight which will cause irrevocable harm to the people involved. Tabitha says one disaster will take place at a party and involves the Cranes and Lopez-Fitzgeralds, and the other will happen up at those ruins. Tabitha tries to think of a way to stop that disaster from happening at the ruins. Timmy asks what about the disaster at the Crane's party? Tabitha says she could care less about what happens to the Cranes. Timmy asks her why she hates them so much? Tabitha says she hates everyone in this town, but she holds a special hatred for the Cranes. She tells Timmy to remind her to tell him the whole story another time.
The kids all assemble, and Kay has a huge backpack. Miguel tells her that she has got to be kidding, but Kay says she wants to be prepared just in case. Charity shows up with a tiny backpack, and Miguel says that is how you pack for a camping trip! Miguel decides to go home and pack, as does Reese. Reese asks Charity if he can keep her pendant to continue doing research on it. Charity says he can have it as long as he likes. Sam and Grace come downstairs in their party close, and everyone whistles. Kay sneaks upstairs to steal one of her mother's negligees, and Tabitha suddenly shows up with her camping gear. Timmy is also sporting some camping gear and a backpack! Tabitha decides to accompany the kids up to the ruins to chaperone them. Kay tells Tabitha that they will be fine on their own, but Grace thinks it is a great idea.
At the cottage, Ethan and Sheridan argue about Ethan telling Gwen the truth. Ethan swears that he will tell Gwen the truth before the party tonight. Sheridan says that is a good idea, considering the wedding is supposed to be tomorrow. Sheridan tells Ethan to make sure he realize what he's going to set off with this announcement, Julian and Rebecca's reaction will be a piece of cake compared to Luis' reaction. Ethan knows what will happen, but he can't marry Gwen when he's in love with Theresa. Ethan says he could care less about the families, aside from his mother their only concern is the financial merger this wedding will bring about. Sheridan tells him that he is right about that. Ethan says the only things that matter are Gwen and Theresa's feelings. Ethan says Theresa is telling Luis right now about them, and she had hoped she (Sheridan) and Luis would have had some emotional breakthrough which would have softened Luis up. Sheridan says that won't happen because Luis swears he never told anyone that he was using her, and he is blaming him for putting these thoughts into his head. Ethan says this is just terrific, now he'll never accept the idea of him and Theresa being together. Sheridan decides to get ready for the party, which shocks Ethan. Sheridan says she should be there, and it will keep her mind off of what is going on between Luis and Theresa. Ethan decides to call up Theresa and see how things are going.
At the Lopez-Fitzgerald House, Luis asks Theresa what Ethan Crane means to her? Why is she defending him? Luis thinks he's figured it out, she's fantasized about him since she was a little girl and she's holding onto the idea that he is an okay guy. Theresa tells Luis that he has it all wrong. Luis lets out a hallelujah because he's been waiting for the day when she realized Ethan was a sleaze in a pair of designer shoes. Theresa tells Luis not to say that! Luis says he guesses he jumped the gun, she hasn't realized what type of guy he is. Luis says Ethan is just as sleazy as his father and grandfather, but Theresa says that is not true. Luis says that he knows Ethan and she doesn't, and he is thankful for that. Theresa asks Luis "what if I had met him . . . " Luis tells her not to go there, unless her idea of a good time is being sent off to Aunt Maria's. Theresa asks him if her is serious about sending her away? Luis says he is dead serious, he'd do whatever it takes to protect her from Ethan Crane, and he's just glad she has met a nice boy. Luis continues to rant and rave about what a horrible person Ethan really is, which only keeps Theresa from telling him the truth about her and Ethan. Ethan calls Theresa later on, and Theresa cries into the phone. Ethan decides to come right over and have it out with Luis once and for all. Ethan hangs up before Theresa can tell him that Luis doesn't know about them. Ethan shows up, but Luis has already left. Theresa tells him that she never told Luis about them because Luis was going on and on about how much he hated him and if he learned they knew one another then he would send her far, far away. Ethan tells Theresa that they will deal with this, but Theresa says it will never work. She says that Luis will never let them be together because he blames Ethan for coming between him and Sheridan. Ethan says Luis is right, he did tell Sheridan to stay away from Luis. Theresa defends her brother and says Luis would never use Sheridan, but Ethan says Sheridan heard Luis saying those things. Ethan and Theresa argue about Sheridan and Luis. Ethan eventually stops this before it goes too far, and he leaves to find Gwen and tell her the truth.
Luis goes back to the cottage and catches Sheridan in a towel as she is coming out of the shower. Sheridan looks at Luis and just smiles. Sheridan didn't expect him back so soon. Luis says he would have been back earlier if he and Theresa hadn't fought over Ethan. Sheridan once again opens her big mouth, and Luis asks if something is going on between them that he doesn't know about? Sheridan quickly covers and says that Theresa has probably just started daydreaming about living the type of lifestyle they do after seeing the newspaper articles on Ethan and the wedding. Sheridan decides to get ready for Ethan's party, and Luis tells Sheridan that he will be accompanying her.
Elsewhere, Sam finds it odd that Tabitha has volunteered to chaperone the kids on their camping trip. Sam thinks she has her own secret agenda. Grace doubts that sweet old lady has anything up her sleeve. Besides, Grace is happy that Tabitha is going to watch over the kids while they are at the party. Sam still wishes they weren't going because he doesn't want to have anything to do with Ethan Crane. Grace begins to suspect that Sam doesn't like Ethan because she said he has the Bennett eyes. Sam says that is not it, he has just had some bad run-ins with Ethan. TC and Eve show up, and both aren't looking forward to this party. However, Eve does say that they can at least put on a smile and act hospitable for a few hours. TC says Julian better stay out of his face, that is all he has to say.
At the mansion, Ivy and Julian are preparing for the party. Julian still can't believe Ivy has invited the Bennetts and the Russells to the party. Ivy tells him that they are her friends so he is to be nice to them. Julian says he has more important things on his mind, such as the finalization of the Crane-Hotckiss merger. Julian snickers and says he hopes Ethan's wedding night to Gwen is better than theirs was. Julian tells Ivy now that Ethan's future is secure he can focus his attention on keeping Luis away from Sheridan. Ivy asks Julian why he and Alistair always have to screw with people's happiness? Ivy says if Luis and Sheridan are meant to be together then let them be together. Luis says he wants better for his sister. Ivy tells him that Sheridan may love Luis, and true love should be allowed to flourish no matter what the consequences. Julian wonders where all this talk about true love is coming from. Ivy tells Julian that perhaps she'll tell him someday when the time is right. For now, Ivy wants to know why spending time with the Russells bother's him so much, is it Eve that makes him uncomfortable, or TC? Julian says that TC has a vile temper and almost killed him on that prom boat. Ivy asks Julian just what he did to TC to make him hate him so much? Julian says he has no idea why TC hates him so much, but perhaps he should take his pistol with him to be safe. Ivy tells him that he will do no such thing! Ivy decides to take her own car to the party and says she'll see Julian later.
At the cottage, Sheridan is waiting for Luis to show up. As she does, she fumbles with the compact he gave her a long time ago. Luis finally shows up and tells Sheridan that her dress is very pretty. Sheridan tells him that his suit is nice. Luis tells Sheridan that the one good thing about this wedding is that it will put Theresa's dreams of marrying Ethan to rest for good. He also says if he ever found out that anything was going on between Ethan and Theresa he would be so angry that there is no telling what he might do. Sheridan suddenly blurts out that she doesn't want to go to the party anymore. Luis asks Sheridan why she is acting so scared? Sheridan says she just doesn't want to be around people tonight, which makes no sense to Luis. They both begin to argue. Sheridan becomes fed up and tells Luis that she doesn't have to protect him, so they should go to the party. Luis asks her what that is supposed to mean? Sheridan says she meant that he doesn't have to protect her anymore.
Luis drives Sheridan to party. Sheridan tells Luis not to hover over her tonight. Luis says he has to watch over her, but he will try to look inconspicuous. Suddenly, Sheridan tells Luis to stop the car. Luis pulls over, and Sheridan gets out. There is a little boy hitchhiking by the side of the road, and Luis asks him what he's doing hitchhiking? The little boy, Joey, says his mom is having a baby. He tells them that he went to get the midwife, but she is out delivering another baby. Sheridan offers to take his mother to the hospital, but Joey says his mom is afraid of doctors. Joey asks them for their help because he thinks his mom is dying. Luis and Sheridan decide to check on the boy's mother, so he leads them to his house.
Joey takes Luis and Sheridan to his house. Pat, Joey's mother, refuses to go to the hospital because all her other children have been delivered at home. Luis says he is a Harmony officer and is trained to deliver babies. He asks if her water broke, and she says yes. Luis decides to call the hospital, but his cell phone doesn't work. Unfortunately, it is five miles to the nearest neighbor, and Luis doesn't want Sheridan walking out in the country all on her own. Pat is hit with another labor pain, and Luis announces that no one is going anywhere. Luis tells Sheridan that it looks like she's going to miss Ethan's party. He tells SHeridan that she can relax, he can tend to the kids and the mother. Sheridan says she is not useless, she can take care of children just as well as he can. The boys announce that the baby's diaper needs to be changed, so Sheridan says she will do it.
At the Lopez-Fitzgerald, Theresa tells Whitney about the fight she and Ethan had tonight. She fears that Ethan may never speak to her again. Whitney tells Theresa not to worry, every couple has arguments, including her parents. Whitney says that Ethan is probably just very stressed out right now and that is why they were arguing. Theresa thinks Whitney is right, and she wonders if she should go to the part and be there for Ethan. Whitney thinks she shouldn't do that, but Theresa fears that Ethan might change his mind and call off the wedding. Pilar shows up and tells Theresa that perhaps it would be best if Ethan didn't call off the wedding and she forgot about her love for Ethan. Theresa says she just can't do that, just like she can't give up on loving Papa. Theresa says that Ethan is the only man she will ever love and they belong together for all eternity. Pilar compares her and Ethan to Romeo and Juliette, and Theresa knows how they ended up. Theresa says that is just a play, and no one will stop them from being together. Pilar tells her not to be so sure, she's seen it happen before. Theresa asks her "To who?" Before Pilar can answer, Ivy calls Pilar in a panicked state. Pilar tells Ivy that she'll be right over to see her. Pilar leaves, and Theresa decides to wait for Ethan to call her. Whitney tells Theresa that Ethan could decide to go through with the wedding as planned. Theresa says whatever Ethan decides, tonight will be the first night of the rest of her life.
Back at the mansion, Pilar comforts Ivy, who is a wreck. Ivy is upset because Sam isn't able to celebrate Ethan's wedding with Sam. Pilar tells Ivy to enjoy what she does have and not worry about what is lost. Pilar advises Ivy take comfort in the values she instilled in her son. Still, Ivy fears Ethan will leave home soon, and then she'll be all alone with Julian. Ivy says she had thought she'd have Sam back in her life by now and he would fill the void Ethan will leave in her heart once he leaves. Pilar tells Ivy that it scares her when she gets this way.
At the Hotckiss Mansion, Ethan shows up at his party and runs into Chad, who has been asked to DJ the party. Chad asks Ethan what gives, is this wedding on or off. Ethan says it is on, but only because he hasn't told Gwen the truth yet. Ethan says that is why he is here early, he's going to tell Gwen the truth. CHad doesn't like the idea of being here when this bomb is dropped. Ethan begins to have doubts about calling off the wedding and thinks maybe he should marry Gwen. He says perhaps what he feels with Theresa will pass one day, and maybe he'll just wake up one day and realize he was meant to be with Theresa all along. Chad asks him what the hell is wrong with him? Is he getting cold feet? Ethan says no, he just realized tonight that after fighting with Theresa, he and Theresa come from two different worlds. Chad asks him what they fought about? Ethan says that is not important, what is important is whether he and Theresa can survive in one another's worlds. Ethan says he has to make the most important decision in his life about what is in his heart. Chad tells Ethan that whatever he does he better make up his mind before walking into that house. Ethan says he knows what he has to do, and he walks inside.
Rebecca talks with Gwen, who is still clueless that Ethan is in love with Theresa. When Rebecca swears she will do whatever it takes to make realize that Gwen is good for him, Gwen asks if Ethan said something to make her believe otherwise? We never hear Rebecca's answer. Later, Ethan shows up looking for Gwen, but Rebecca snags him. Rebecca tells Ethan that she knows why he is looking for her daughter. Rebecca tells Ethan that she knows he is in love with Theresa and wants to call the wedding off!
The Bennetts and Russells show up, and Sam tells TC that everything will be fine as long as they stay away from the Cranes.
At Pat's place, Sheridan tries to change the baby's diaper, and soon learns that they only have cloth diapers, not disposable ones. Luis asks Sheridan if she needs any help? Sheridan says nope. Luis tells her to let him take over, but she tells him that she can manage! Luis checks on Pat, who thinks the baby won't be coming until the morning. Pat tells Luis that she knows she's in capable hands, and she asks him if he and his wife have kids? Luis says that Sheridan isn't his wife. Pat tells Luis that he should marry her because they make a real cute couple. Suddenly, Sheridan lets out a scream. Luis changes the baby, and Sheridan attempts to dry off. It seems Sheridan was caught is a little bit of a rain shower. Luis also tells Sheridan not to yell out again because she scared Pat. Luis offers to make the kids food if Sheridan reads to them, but Sheridan says she is capable of making them food. The kids want Peanut Butter and Jelly, As Sheridan is about to make them dinner, Pat yells out in pain. Luis tends to Pat and tries to convince her to go to the hospital, but Pat is determined to wait until the midwife comes in the morning and have her baby at home. Meanwhile, Sheridan has her hands full attempting to make the kids sandwiches. Sheridan is covered in peanut butter and jelly, so Luis decides to take over once again. Sheridan goes to get them some milk, but can't find any. Joey says that mom didn't get a chance to milk the cows today. Sheridan says "Very funny," but Luis tells her that Joey isn't kidding. Sheridan thinks she can milk the cow because she's seen it done on TV. However, Joey tells Sheridan that perhaps she should let her boyfriend do it. Sheridan yells "boyfriend!" Luis goes to milk the cow, and Sheridan tries to take care of the rugrats, who end up having a pillow fight. Luis returns and puts the kids in their place. He tells Sheridan to go check on Pat, and then he has a talk with Joey about why Sheridan can't do this type of stuff. Luis says Sheridan knows how to do a lot of stuff, just different stuff than they can. Joey asks "Like what?" Luis says she can speak French, she can ski, and she can fly a plane. Joey tells Luis that he should marry SHeridan. Sheridan goes in to be with Pat, whose contractions are growing closer together. Pat tells Sheridan that she has a keeper, referring to Luis. She says that he reminds her of her husband, and he is the kid of guy she should marry. Sheridan says a marriage should be based on trust. Pat tells her to look into his eyes, he's an open book. She says if she can't trust this man, than who can she trust? Suddenly, the rugrats break the faucet, and water starts gushing everywhere. Luis says that he'll take care of this and suggests Sheridan put them to bed. Sheridan says no problem. As she goes over to get them she notices her purse has somehow been destroyed, and she looks like she's about to cry. Sheridan chases the kids around as she tries to put them to bed. Luis, who of course has taken his shirt off to fix the plumbing, tells them that if he has to warn them one more time they will be in trouble. He says they won't get any magic tricks or ice cream before bed. The kids run off to bed, and Sheridan can't believe he can get them to listen to him. Luis says you just have to let them know who is in charge. Sheridan doesn't think she'll make a very good parent, but Luis disagrees. Sheridan thanks him and then goes back to the bathroom to finish giving the little girl her bath. Sheridan manages to get the kids under control, but she has to cheat. She promises to buy them all new bikes if they go straight to bed and not get up until morning. Luis shows back up and is impressed that they are behaving. When he says he will show them a trick, they decide they just want to go straight to bed. The kids give Luis a hug and leave. Luis thinks Sheridan is simply amazing. Luis tells her that he didn't think she was up to the challenge, and he's never given her credit for what she can do. Suddenly, Pat screams out "Good Golly!" That is Pat's signal that the baby is coming. Sheridan asks Luis what they are going to do? Luis says it looks like they are delivering a baby!
At the Crane mansion, Ivy considers telling Sam the truth about Ethan. Pilar begs her not to because it is bad enough that she is hiding the papers on Ethan's paternity. Ivy warns her not to even consider destroying those papers! Pilar tells Ivy that she made a choice years ago to raise Ethan as a Crane, and she can't undo that choice now. Still, Ivy says she and Sam should be dancing at that party together and toasting Ethan's future happiness, but instead she is stuck with Julian and Sam has Grace. Pilar says she will go with her and help her through this. Ivy says she'd like that, but she might have to deal with that social snob Rebecca. Pilar says she is not afraid of Rebecca Hotckiss. Ivy says that she will never forgive Rebecca for those terrible accusations she made about Ethan and Theresa, and she doesn't believe them.
At the Hotchkiss mansion, TC runs into Julian. Julian extends his hand and tells TC that it was nice of him to come. TC walks by Julian and orders some wine and some scotch. Julian approaches TC and asks him where his other half is? TC warns Julian to stay away from his wife. Julian says he didn't mean to sound disrespectful, he has the highest regard for Eve. TC tells Julian that he doesn't know the meaning of the word, he thinks he and his family have been put on this earth to trash other people. Julian exclaims "such anger!" TC warns Julian that if he says one more thing to him, he'll kill him! Sam finds TC and tries to calm him down. He tells TC to try and make more of an effort to stay away from Julian. Meanwhile, Grace makes a wish in the fountain that her children will be as happy as she and Sam are. Elsewhere, TC runs into a woman who recognizes TC from years ago as the guy who was supposed to play Julian Crane in the tennis tournament.
Elsewhere, Rebecca tells Ethan that she knows he is going to call off the wedding, and she won't stand by and watch him hurt her little girl! Rebecca tries to tell Ethan that he is a good man, and he's not the first one to have his head turned by some saucy little wench from the wrong side of the tracks. Rebecca explains that sex is just sex, it has nothing to do with love. Ethan defends Theresa and says that this thing between him and Theresa wasn't planned. Ethan says he loves Gwen, he always has, so Rebecca asks why he's canceling the wedding? Ethan says he can't marry her when he has these feelings for Theresa, it just wouldn't be fair to Gwen. Rebecca tells Ethan that if he calls off this wedding he won't be ruining his own life, he'll be ruining his parents' lives as well. She asks him if that is how he wants to repay them for what they've done for him? Ethan says there is no alternative, but Rebecca says there is. Rebecca tells him to marry her daughter and deal with this infatuation for Theresa later on! Ethan says that it is not an infatuation, he loves her! Gwen shows up and tells Ethan that she loves him too. Ethan asks Rebecca to excuse them so they can talk, but Gwen tells Ethan that it will have to wait, and she runs off. Rebecca scolds Ethan for even thinking about hurting Gwen here in front of all of her guests. Ethan says he can't continue with this lie all night. Rebecca tells Ethan that if he has an ounce of love for her daughter than he'll wait until the party is over to tell her the truth. Ethan agrees to do so. Gwen returns and tells Ethan that they really need to mingle tonight. Gwen ends up going to mingle with the Bigalows, and Ethan ends up promising Rebecca that he won't spill the beans to Gwen until the party is over. Before Ethan catches up to Gwen, Rebecca asks him where Theresa is? Ethan says he thought it was best she stay away tonight. Ethan leaves, and Rebecca calls Theresa!
Ivy and Pilar show up, and Pilar has on fancy dinner party clothes! Julian asks Ivy why Pilar is out of uniform? When Ivy says she is here as a guest, Julian makes a constipated type of face and exclaims "Good grief!" Ivy says Pilar is a dear friend of hers and has been a second mother to Ethan. Ivy approaches Sam and TC and tells TC that his wife is looking for him. TC leaves, and Sam scolds Ivy for scheming to get him here tonight. Ivy says it is very important to her that he be here tonight. Sam doesn't know why, and he says that he doesn't want to mend fences with Ethan because he is exactly like his father. Ivy says she thinks so too. Grace shows up and tells Ivy that she looks beautiful tonight. Grace is looking forward to the ceremony because it might give them some ideas for their own first born's wedding. Ivy laughs, and then she sees Pilar giving her a look. Later, Ivy can't take it anymore and orders Pilar to go home and bring the papers to her because she's going to prove to him that Ethan is his son.
At the Lopez-Fitzgerald's, Theresa fears that her fight with Ethan might cause Ethan to change his mind and marry Gwen after all. Whitney tries to calm her down, but Theresa thinks she should be with Ethan instead of standing around here loosing her mind. Suddenly, Rebecca calls Theresa up and insists she come to the party tonight. Theresa agrees to go when Rebecca wants Theresa to share in the love because Ethan and Gwen just can't keep their hands off one another. Rebecca smiles and tells herself that she has such big plans for Theresa.
