September 00 Week 3

Monday

September 18
At Chad's place, Chad learns that his building has been condemned. He doesn't know where he's going to find a place this cheap to live. Terrance, the manager, shows up, and Chad asks what is going on? Terrance tells CHad not to yell at him, someone complained to the city that the building was unsafe and the city shut it down. Simone decides to ask Chad to come live with her, and she promises Kay that she'll work extra hard to help her get Miguel. Kay thanks Simone for her help, but she says she didn't have this building condemned. Kay also doesn't think that Chad living in their house is a good idea. Simone wants to know why, not realizing that Kay knows that Chad loves Whitney and not Simone. Kay tells Simone that Chad might not be able to control himself and ravage her. Simone smiles and says that would be a real shame, but Kay tells her to be serious! Simone says she's not going to sleep with Chad, she just wants a little romance. Simone offers Chad their place, but Chad says he really needs his own place. Simone says he does need to find a new place to live, so he should come home to her house and they can look for a new place there. Simone says that her dad knows everyone in Harmony, so maybe he knows someone who will rent him a room.

At the Russell's, TC tells Whitney that she doesn't agree with what she just said, Chad is a very hard worker. Eve agrees with TC, Chad has really turned the Book Cafe around. Eve and TC sing Chad's praises, but Whitney can't stop thinking about the lie Kay told her about CHad. Whitney says that perhaps CHad has a hidden motive for doing all this hard work. Eve asks her what she means? Is there something she knows that they don't? Whitney says they just don't know Chad as well as they think they do. TC says he knows Chad very well, Chad has dedicated himself to music and won't quit untill he makes it. Eve says there is a lot they don't know about him, he may not have a high school diploma. TC says he also doesn't know who his parents are. Eve is reminded of Ivy asking her if Chad was her son, but Eve told her that her baby died. Eve says that whoever Chad's parents are they are horrible people for not even having the decency to go through a proper adoption agency. Eve says she feels sorry for Chad, but she doesn't want him to get involved with her daughters. Eve says she doesn't want to tempt fate, but there are a lot of unwanted pregnancies in Harmony. Whitney assures her mom that would never happen to her, she would never bring heartbreak or shame to the family.

Simone, Kay, and Chad return home, and Simone tells her parents about Chad's situation. They all look and try and find Chad a new place to live. Eve tells Simone that Chad isn't moving back in with them, even though she likes him, she doesn't want him hanging around with her daughters all the time. Whitney returns and wonders why Chad is back? Simone tells Whitney that CHad's building was condemned because someone complained about it. Whitney shocks everyone when she says she was the one who complained. Whitney says the place was in horrible condition and wasn't safe. Whitney says she didn't mean for it to be condemned. Chad thanks her because he's out on the street with no place to live because he can't afford to pay first and last months rent up front. Chad says that place was the Crane Mansion compared to other places he's stayed. Whitney says she didn't mean for this to happen. TC tells Whitney to talk to him or her mom the next time she decides to do something that will effect the lives of others. Simone suddenly has a solution to Chad's problem, she knows the perfect way to solve Chad's problem. When Simone announces that Chad can live with them, everyone in the room yells "No!"

At the mansion, Theresa and Pilar watch as Ethan prepares to tell Gwen that the wedding is off. Theresa wishes she could help Ethan, but Pilar says that she should get as far away from this place as possible because Gwen and Mr. and Mrs. Crane will tear her apart. Ivy and Julian show up, and Ivy tells Ethan that if he has something to tell Gwen about the wedding then they should know about it. Suddenly, Alistair calls, so Julian excuses himself. Gwen asks Ethan what is so important? She guesses that Ethan only wants to tell her how much he loves her. Pilar urges Theresa to leave now, but she refuses to abandon Ethan. Gwen suddenly remembers something she had to do, and she shows Theresa the pearls that Julian gave her. Ethan talks with Pilar, who tries to convince Ethan to reconsider his decision. Ethan refuses and thinks this is best for everyone involved. Pilar asks Ethan if he's sure about that? Ethan says he is, but Pilar is afraid his honesty will bring the wrath of the Cranes down upon her family. MEanwhile, Theresa fantasizes that Ethan gives her the pearls Gwen is wearing, because they belong to Ethan's wife.

In the library, Alistair tells Julian that he just got the contracts on the Crane- Hotchkiss merger and congratulates him on his good work. He says now that the Ethan and Gwen situation is under control, how are things going with Luis and Sheridan? Julian says everything is going fine with them, and he doesn't know why he is worried about them. Alistair says soon Luis will be re-assigned, and when it is time for them to say goodbye, Sheridan will want to clear the air between them. AListair tells him that he must not allow Sheridan to tell Luis what she overheard on the wharf. Still, Julian says even if she does tell him, Luis will deny it, and Sheridan won't believe him. AListair still isn't convinced, so Julian says he'll go over to the cottage and check things out.

Julian goes out to the living room and tells Gwen that Alistair wants to talk to her. Gwen thanks him for the gifts, and he tells her that he is overjoyed Ethan is marrying her and he'll make sure Ethan keeps her happy. Meanwhile, Theresa tells Ethan that she's so sorry all of this is happening. Theresa asks Ethan if Alistair will ever be as nice to her as he is to Gwen? Pilar butts in and tells Theresa not to count on it! Ethan decides to take Gwen someplace private and tell her the truth because he's sick of these interruptions. Ethan tells Gwen that they need to talk, but as they are leaving, Rebecca shows up. Rebecca says she has something to say to Ethan. She gives him a big kiss and says "Hello Son!" and she apologizes. She also apologizes to Theresa for over- reacting. Rebecca says now that the wedding is almost upon them and Ethan and Gwen are so obviously in love, she realized she was wrong because a Crane man always keeps his word. Rebecca says the day Ethan and Gwen are joined forever will be a happy day. Everyone then applauds. Ethan finally gets to spend some time alone with Gwen, and the two take off. Pilar tells Theresa that all hell is about to break loose and she hopes their family can deal with the storm that she has weathered. Outside, Ethan tells Gwen that he must tell her something important before anything else happens.

Roger calls Hank and tells him that he works for him now, and he is to kill Sheridan Crane. Hank refuses to kill Sheridan, so Roger blackmails him using his past. Roger tells Hank that he will expose his past if he doesn't kill Sheridan Crane right now! Hank tells Roger not to contact him again, that part of his life is over! Hank hangs up on Roger and is not pleased.

At the cottage, Luis asks Sheridan what he said to hurt her? Sheridan tells Luis it doesn't matter, they probably won't see one another again. Luis says fine, once he has the FBIs okay, he'll take off. Luis says Hank can look after her from then on. However, Luis can't let it go and tells her that he needs to know what happened. Sheridan says it doesn't matter because it was in the past. Luis asks if their first date at the Lobster Shack didn't matter either? Or when he flew to Paris to save her life? He also reminds her of the kiss they shared during the stake out, which was very real. Luis tells her if she tells him why she slapped him then he will get out of her life forever. Hank shows up, and realizes they are in a heavy duty conversation. He is about to leave, but Sheridan asks him to stay. Sheridan finally tells Luis what she overheard at the wharf, that he was planning to use her. Sheridan says that is why she ran off to Paris, because she finally found out what type of man he really is! Luis says that is ridiculous, but Sheridan doesn't believe him. She thinks he wants the Crane fortune just like every other man. Luis says something is wrong here, the Crane fortune is the last thing he wants. Sheridan says if he has an explanation then she will believe him if he can tell her. Luis says he has no idea why she thinks he said those things, but he never did. Luis says he'd never joke about that, so whatever she heard she must have misunderstood. Sheridan says she expected a plausible explanation, not "I don't know." Sheridan says she knows what she heard, and she knows it is true because he isn't man enough to hone up to it. Sheridan tells Luis that he is a liar! She decides to take a walk, and when she returns she tells Luis to get out of her cottage and out of her life! Sheridan then storms out in tears. Luis doesn't understand what happened, he never said any of those things? Hank's phone rings, and Luis asks him if he's going to answer it?

Sheridan doesn't understand why Luis had to be like all the other men. She tries to convince herself that she'll never love him.

At the Russell's, Chad makes some calls to some shelters, but everyplace in town seems to be taken. Simone blames Whitney for this. Whitney says she was only trying to help, she thought the landlord would just clean up the place. Simone still wants Chad to move in with them, but everyone says no, including Kay. Simone wonders why Kay doesn't want Chad to live here because it would allow them to grow closer. Kay knows that Chad doesn't love Simone, he loves Whitney, which is why she doesn't want Chad to live here. Kay tells Simone that it is just too early for her and Chad to be spending so much time together. Meanwhile, Whitney asks her parents if they are considering letting Chad stay here? TC and Eve wonder why she is so against this after he saved her life. TC thinks Whitney should feel guilty, if anything, for having Chad's building condemned. Eve wants to know the real reason Whitney is against Chad staying here? Kay overhears them talking and panics when she realizes Whitney might tell her mom the lie she told her. Before Whitney can answer, the phone rings. Chad hopes it is one of the shelters he has called, but it is for TC. MEanwhile, Simone calls her mother a hypocrite for not wanting to allow Chad to stay with them because she always preaches the golden rule to them, do unto others as you would do unto yourself. She begs her parents not to put Chad out on the streets. TC says they doesn't have enough room, so Simone offers to move in with Whitney. Elsewhere, Whitney asks Kay where she can reach Tiffany because she really needs to talk to her. Kay asks Whitney why, it's so obvious Chad is the kind of man who uses girls and throws them away. Whitney remembers how Chad took care of her when she hurt her leg at the cabin, and she tells Kay that it is very important she talks with her. Kay says she doesn't know where she's gone, and she asks Whitney what she is so worried about? Is she worried about being alone with Chad? Suddenly, Chad learns that he has no where to go, so TC agrees to let him stay here. When TC says Whitney and Simone can room together, Chad says he doesn't want to put anyone out. Simone suggests they give him the garage apartment they fixed up for Aunt Ruby when they thought she was going to move in with them. TC thinks that is a great idea because they can clean it up in no time, and it is within Chad's price range. Simone asks Chad if he will stay? Chad says he has no place else to go, so he accepts, as long as it is okay with everyone.

At the mansion, Ivy and Rebecca are opening wedding gifts from the "The Donald" and Princess Carolone. Pilar tries to encourage Theresa to leave while she still can, but Theresa says she's not afraid of Gwen or her mother. Theresa watches and wishes those gifts were for her. Pilar tells Theresa to wake up, their lives will be ruined because of what she has done! They will both be fired and none of their lives will ever be the same! Outside, Ethan suggests to Gwen that they take a walk and talk. Unfortunately, as he is about to tell her the truth, Gwen's bride's maids show up and sing a little song about who is getting married. Back inside, Ivy and Rebecca see that Gwen's sisters have arrived. Theresa comments that she didn't know Gwen had any sisters. Ivy says they are her sorority sisters, they went to school together. All of Gwen's sisters scream when they see her ring, and Gwen introduces Ivy to her sorority sisters: Buffy, Muffy, Shannon, Squeeky, and Robin. Theresa thinks they are so silly, but Pilar tells her they will all bear their fangs if attacked. Gwen introduces her sisters to Theresa, who they are thrilled to meet. They says that Gwen is always talking about what a wonderful person she is. Gwen invites her friends inside and shows them all the gifts she's gotten. Theresa asks Ethan if he told Gwen? Ethan says no, he almost told her, but her friends showed up. Ethan says now it will only humiliate her more. Ethan says he doesn't want to cause her so much pain, and he just wishes . . . Theresa finishes his sentence and says "that you hadn't fallen in love with me." Theresa asks Ethan if he is backing out on his love for her? Is he now refusing to call off the wedding? Ethan tells Theresa that he's not going to back out, he's going to tell Gwen that he loves her and he is calling off the wedding. Ethan tells her that this is very difficult, he doesn't want to hurt Gwen, but it is the only thing to do. Gwen comes outside and invites Theresa to have lunch with her and the girls. Theresa tries to get out of it by saying she has work to do, so Gwen says she'll talk to Ivy because she is her friend and should be there! Gwen gives Ethan a kiss and runs off. Ethan says this just keeps getting more difficult. Gwen returns and tells Theresa that it is all set, she has the afternoon off. When Gwen says she just can't wait to be Mrs. Ethan Crane, Ethan tells Gwen they have to talk now! Gwen says okay, what does he have to tell her?

Julian is making kissy faces at himself in the mirror while playing with the Luis mask when Alistair calls. AListair tells him to stop playing with that mask and go check on Luis and Sheridan right now! Julian asks AListair how he knew . . . Alistair says he knows everything which goes on in that house! Julian assures his father that they have nothing to worry about. AListair says if there isn't a problem, then why is Sheridan in the gazebo crying? Julian says he has no idea, so Alistair warns Julian to go find out or he'll make a call to the Harmony Police and tell them to search that gazebo! Alistair tells Julian that if the gazebo is disassembled, then he'll be watching his son's wedding from jail! Julian says he'll go right now.

At the cottage, Luis asks Hank if he's going to answer his phone. Hank doesn't want to, so Luis tells Hank if he doesn't answer his phone, then he will! Luis grabs the phone from Hank and answers it, and then tells Hank that he has some explaining to do! Hank says he can explain himself. Luis says that is good because he has a Ramona from the diner on the phone. He asks why he's going out with a Ramona if he loves Sheridan? Hank says he's not going out with Ramona, he's thinking of buying her car. Hank tells Ramona he'll call her back later. Luis decides to take off and find Sheridan, and Hank gets another call. Hank answers it, thinking it is from Ramona, but it is Roger. Roger wants to know if Sheridan is dead yet? Hank tells Roger not to call him again. Roger tells Hank not to be foolish, the organization wants Sheridan dead and they will stop at nothing to make it happen. Hank says he's not killing Sheridan, and throws his phone down, causing it to smash into pieces.

Sheridan is at the gazebo crying and thinking about Luis. Luis shows up, and she asks him to leave her alone. Luis refuses to leave because he wants to make her believe that he never said those things, he would never use her or anyone else for their money. However, Sheridan refuses to believe him. She says she knows what she heard and saw, it was him. Luis tells Sheridan that he would never say anything to deliberately hurt her. Suddenly, Julian shows up and orders Luis to take his hands off his sister, this is the last time he will ever hurt a member of the Crane family! Luis says he's not hurting her, but Julian says he has made her cry. Julian decides to walk Sheridan back to her cottage, even though Sheridan insists she is fine.

Back at the cottage, Luis shows up and Hank asks what is going on? Luis explains how he was trying to convince Sheridan they he didn't say those things, but Julian showed up and ruined everything. Inside, Julian tries to convince Sheridan that Luis is lying to her and only wants to use her. Julian tells her that she doesn't have to believe him, but she has to believe her own eyes. Sheridan says perhaps it was a joke or a misunderstanding. Julian tells Sheridan that she needs to face the truth, Luis is not the man she thought he was. Julian thinks she should move on and find the right man, someone who will love and respect her, not someone who will use her. Luis barges in and refuses to leave until they talk. Julian tries to throw him out, but SHeridan tells Julian that she wants to talk to Luis. Sheridan kicks Julian out, and she and Luis have a talk. Luis tells Sheridan he had to come back to convince her that he didn't say those things. He asks why he would protect her and risk his own life to save hers if he was only using her? Luis asks her if she believes him? He begs her to please says she believes him.

At the Russell's, Simone is thrilled that Chad is going to be living in their garage, but WHitney doesn't think this is a good idea. Simone tells Whitney that Chad loves her, and now that he will be living here full time, she and Chad will have no more obstacles in their relationship. Whitney says there is mom and dad, but Simone says mom and dad like Chad. Simone thinks it is wonderful that Chad is now living with them, and she asks Kay if she doesn't agree? Kay says she agrees, but secretly tells herself that she's going to have to find a way to keep Whitney and Chad apart. Chad returns and has a key to his apartment and has signed a lease, which he asked them to write up. Chad says he doesn't want any special favors. Simone thinks this is going to be great, they can hang out together all the time and watch the Olympics together. Chad tells Simone to slow down, the only reason he took the garage apartment is because it is separate from the house and it has its own entrance. Simone tells Chad that she wants him to feel like he's part of the family. Chad says he appreciates that, but this is only temporary. He says once he finds another place, he's going to move. Simone says she's glad he's here, forever how long it may be. Chad thanks her and decided to go get settled in. After Chad leaves, Simone hopes that she and Chad will grow close while he's here, and maybe when he leaves she can go with him! Kay tells herself that Simone is dreaming, and if Simone looses Chad to Whitney, then she'll end up loosing Miguel.

Simone helps Chad carry some stuff up to his apartment, and Whitney and Kay tag along. Kay tries to stay with Chad and Whitney, but Simone tells Kay that she needs to talk to her. Whitney and Chad end up arguing about him living here. Chad assures Whitney that this is a temporary thing, and she won't even know he is here. Simone and Kay return and Simone overhears what Chad just said. She tells him that is impossible because Whitney's room is right across from this apartment, so they have a common wall. Chad isn't pleased, but says since he doesn't have X-ray vision, she doesn't have to worry. He says he hopes the wall is thick because he likes to play his music late at night. Whitney tells CHad to keep it down. Chad and Simone leave to get some more of Chad's things, and Kay tells Whitney that she understands why she doesn't want Chad here. Whitney decides to tell her mom about Chad being the father of that girl's baby, but Kay tells her not to do that. Kay says Chad will be out of here in no time because he won't be able to bring a lot of girls up here. Kay says that Chad's old place was a real bachelor pad. Whitney says if he tries that here then her dad will throw him out in a second. Kay says she doesn't think she has to worry about that, Chad has another plan. Kay warns Whitney that Chad will try and use music to romance her, and he won't give up until he has her. Kay tells Whitney that is exactly what happened with Tiffany, he didn't give up until he got her. Later, Chad gets everything moved in, and Kay suggests to Simone that she go make Chad something to eat because he probably doesn't have any food left. Once they are alone, Kay talks with Chad about his apartment. Chad feels that Coach and Mrs. Russell will probably be watching him like a hawk to make sure he doesn't embarrass them. Kay says at least it is in a nice neighborhood, but Chad says he liked his old one better because the people here will probably give him funny looks and lock their doors when they see him. Kay then suggests to Chad that she thinks Whitney purposely caused him to lose his apartment hoping that he'd leave Harmony. Chad doesn't think she'd do that, but Kay says Whitney is just like her mom. She tells CHad that Whitney has this fantasy that she can only date the perfect man, who has to dress a certain way, talk a certain way, and do whatever she tells him. Chad says that is not going to be him. Kay tells him of course not, he'd never let a girl tie him down. Later, when Chad is alone, he is putting stuff away and comes across a box of old pictures of Whitney.

Back at the Russell's, Whitney is packing up some tennis gear when Chad starts playing his music (it is Butterfly by Lenny Kravitz). Simone comments that she can really hear Chad's music coming through the walls. Whitney says she doesn't care, it isn't effecting her. Simone asks Whitney to try and be a little nicer to Chad because he's a good guy. Simone and Kay leave, and Whitney ends up putting her hand on the wall between her and Chad's room. As she listens to the song, Whitney smiles.

At the mansion, Gwen tells Theresa that she is free to have lunch with her and her sisters. Gwen tells Theresa and Ethan that they are like the three musketeers, and very soon they will see the fruits of their labor. Gwen says she is so happy, she can't believe she is going to be Mrs. Ethan Crane. She also asks Theresa to be the godmother to her and Ethan's first child. Gwen hopes she and Theresa will be the best of friends forever, and then when she finds a man, they will all be inseparable. Ethan has had enough and tells Gwen that they must talk NOW. Gwen tells Ethan to just tell her what he has to say. Suddenly, Gwen's sorority sisters show up and tell Ethan that he's going to wait to have Gweny all to himself because they have something planned for Gwen. They then begin singing a song about when a Gamma Pie girl gets married, she needs her sisters by her side. Theresa is amazed by how these rich girls act. Ethan comments to Theresa that fate seems to be stopping him from telling Gwen, but Theresa says it isn't fate because fate brought them together. Ethan says that he must tell Gwen the truth before the party tonight. Gwen's sorority sisters have planned a bridal shower for Gwen, and Theresa really tries to get out of going when she learns this. However, Ivy insists Theresa go with Gwen and then she'll see her at the party tonight. Ethan tries to get to Gwen, but he is too late, she has already been yanked into a car and driven off to the country club.

At the country club, Gwen is surprised with a wedding shower planned by her sisters. They all decide to make Theresa an official Gamma girl, and they vote by snapping their fingers. One of the sisters tells Gwen that at first she thought she was nuts for letting Ethan spend so much time with Theresa, but now she sees how nice and trustworthy Theresa is. As Gwen opens gifts, the girls want to know how Ethan is in bed? Gwen says he is fabulous and when Ethan makes love to her, she knows that she is the only woman he loves. Buffy hopes they stay that way after they are married because soon after her parents married, her father began to stray. Gwen says that will never happen to her and Ethan, Ethan is far to wise to let some sexy little siren seduce him into sleeping with her. Later they play a game in which Gwen has to pull a ribbon off of one of her gifts, which will predict how her wedding will turn out. She pulls a ribbon, which ends up fraying and coming apart. Everyone gasps and says this is terrible!

Back at the mansion, Ethan watches his mom and Rebecca celebrating Ethan and Gwen's upcoming marriage. Ethan says this is going to break Gwen's heart, and he doesn't know if he can do that to her. Pilar asks Ethan if he is changing his mind about calling off the wedding? Ethan says no, he's can't marry Gwen when he loves Theresa. He honestly believes that once his family overcomes the shock they will support him. Ethan says that when Gwen returns, he is going to break the news to her. Suddenly, Ivy and Rebecca approach Ethan and tell him how proud they are of him and how he will make a wonderful husband to Gwen.

Alistair, who is welding something, calls Julian and tells him to make sure Sheridan and Luis do not get together! Julian looks in the window and gives his father a play by play of what is going on. When Julian tells his dad that things aren't going well, Alistair tells Julian to kill Luis!

At the cottage, Luis tries to convince Sheridan that he did not say those things, he wouldn't risk his life for her if he was only using her. Luis begs Sheridan to believe him. Sheridan looks into Luis' eyes, and tells him that she believes him. Luis thanks her for believing him. However, Sheridan says she believes that he doesn't want things to be strained between them, but she can't deny what she saw and heard. Sheridan says she refuses to live in denial anymore. Luis tells Sheridan that it wasn't him that she heard, so Sheridan says he must have a twin running around. Sheridan tells Luis she knows what she heard him say. Sheridan tells Luis that she had never met anyone like him before, and she was so happy, but she can't be with a liar. She tells Luis if he admits to saying those things, then they can return to the way things were, they can be happy again. Sheridan begs him to tell her that he said it, that he was joking, that it was said in the heat of the moment. Sheridan tells Luis that she wants them to be together, but she needs to know the truth. Luis refuses to lie to Sheridan because he never said those things. He tells her that he can't lie to her, he never said those things. Sheridan is confused and says she doesn't know what to think. Luis tells her not to think, let her heart tell her what to do. Luis asks her once again to say she believes him.

Short summary, had to attend a function tonight
Miguel and Charity are researching a paper on Harmony's past and learns that Tabitha Lennox was one of the original settlers of Harmony. With some further searching they learn there has been a Tabitha Lennox in Harmony for every generation, and that Tabitha Lennox has always been around whenever disaster struck Harmony. Charity wonders if Tabitha knows about this. Miguel suggests they go up to the old Harmony Ruins and search through them for their project. Charity thinks that is a good idea and suggests they tell Tabitha about what they find.

At Tabitha's place, Timmy orders MarTimmy supplies and is scolded by Tabitha. They are out of money, and because Tabitha doesn't have her powers, she is unable to make any more. Tabitha attempts to cast a spell to make the pendant come to her, and it seems to be working. Unfortunately, Timmy interrupts her and causes her to lose her concentration and fall off the chair she was standing on.

Luis continues to try and convince Sheridan that he wasn't using her. When Sheridan starts to cave, Julian barges in and tells Sheridan not to believe Luis, he is a liar, and she should believe what she saw. Sheridan tells Julian that she needs to be alone with Luis, so they take a walk. Luis continues to tell Sheridan that he didn't say those things and he isn't lieing to her. He says that he wants to be with her more than anyone else in this world, and it would be easy for him to lie to her, but she deserves someone better than that. Sheridan is confused what to believe.

At the country club, Gwen pulls out the shortest ribbon in her bouquet, which means bad news for her and Ethan. Gwen turns to Theresa and asks her to tell her friends how much Ethan loves her. Suddenly, Whitney, who was coaching someone, shows up. Whitney advises Theresa to leave before Gwen finds out she is stealing her fiance. Gwen overhears the world steal, and she thinks Theresa and Whitney are hiding something. Theresa covers by claiming someone stole Gwen's tennis racquet. After Gwen leaves, Theresa and Whitney talk about Chad. Theresa thinks they should have a double wedding, but Whitney tells Theresa that Chad isn't the person she thinks he is.

Later, when Ethan calls to talk to Gwen, Gwen puts him on speaker phone because she thinks he's going to proclaim his undying love to her. However, when he realizes he is on speaker phone he becomes angry and tells Gwen that he needs to talk to her in private. Ethan heads to the club, and Gwen makes Theresa and the other girls hide so they can hear how much Ethan loves her.

Tabitha is attempting to summon Charity's pendant. She is actually succeeding, the pendant is floating in Charity's room, but Timmy shows up with something that he believes can help them, causing Tabitha to lose her concentration and fall off the chair she was standing on and crash through her table. At the Bennett's, Charity and Miguel are discussing going to the old Harmony Ruins to get information for their school project, and Miguel suggests they take Tabitha along with them since her ancestors lived there. When Tabitha goes crashing through her table, Charity hears her scream. Back at Tabitha's place, Timmy tries to help Tabitha, who is stuck in the middle of her table! She crashed right through the center of it. Timmy says he found a magic crystal in the attic which might help her out, but Tabitha doubts it and yells at Timmy to help her. Charity and Miguel hear Tabitha crying for help, so they decide to go see what is wrong. Before they leave, Miguel finds the pendant on the floor, and he offers to go put it away, but Charity decides she wants to wear it. She puts on the pendant, and her eyes begins to glow. However, Miguel hears Timmy, and thinks a little boy is over there, so he tells Charity to put the pendant on later and grabs it from around her neck. The pendant is hot, but Miguel just thinks it must have been sitting in the sunlight. Charity and Miguel then go to check on Tabitha. Back at Tabitha's place, Timmy shows Tabitha the magic crystal he found, and tries to use it to set Tabitha free, but Tabitha tells him that is a glass doorknob. Tabitha uses it to bang on the table, and realizes that Timmy did a good thing, she is able to use it to make the hole bigger so she can climb out. Suddenly, Charity and Miguel show up at her door and ask if she is okay? Tabitha yells that she is fine and they can run along. Suddenly, the table falls apart and sends Tabitha crashing to the ground. Miguel and Charity hear this and walk inside. They find Tabitha on the ground and see Timmy struggling under the table! Timmy realizes he's been caught, so he turns into a doll. When Miguel looks closer he realizes it is just Tabitha's doll, and that it must be motorized. They help Tabitha up, who says she fell while trying to change a light. Charity points out that there is not light bulb up there, and she's holding an old doorknob. Miguel thinks Dr. Russell should check her out, but she says she is perfectly fine, she comes from hardy stock. She thanks for checking up on them and tries to get them to leave, but Miguel says they thought they heard a little boy. Tabitha says that was just her, she is thinking of doing a ventriloquist act with Timmy. Before they leave, Charity asks Tabitha to help them out with their history report. Miguel jokes that it would be incredible if all the Tabitha's that lived in Harmony were one in the same, and she was over three hundred years old. Tabitha says that the name is passed down to the eldest daughter of every generation. Charity tells Tabitha that they would love to interview her for their history report, but Miguel says first they want to document the ruins of the original settlement of Harmony. Tabitha tells them that they can't do that because there is nothing there to document. She says all they need to know they can find in books. Tabitha gets rid of the kids, and tells herself that she can't let those brats go digging in the original settlement. Timmy asks Tabitha what she is so afraid of? Tabitha answers many things, and that the real history of Harmony must stay hidden. Timmy asks her why she wrote this book, which he pulls out? He says it is called The Hazing of Harmony, by Tabitha Lennox. Tabitha asks him where he got this? Timmy says he found it in the attic when he was looking for things to sell. Tabitha laughs and says she wrote this in the 70s after reading some other trashy books. She says they made her decide to write a book about the families of Harmony using all the dirt she knew about them. Tabitha laughs and says if this was ever published it would make Peyton Place look like a children's book! Timmy thinks this is just what they need to make a load of money! Tabitha tells Timmy that her book will never be published, it is far too explosive. Tabitha thinks it is a pity because it has best seller written all over it. Tabitha thinks they need to return to the task at hand, getting the pendant away from Charity.

Tabitha and Timmy break into the Bennetts when the house is empty and begin searching for the pendant. Unfortunately, Charity decides to take her shawl back home, and she catches Tabitha searching for the pendant! Charity asks Tabitha what she is looking for? Tabitha says she was looking for Grace's tomato soup recipe. Charity says that is weird, she could have sworn she was looking for something else, like . . . . Charity pulls off her shawl and shows Tabitha the glowing pendant she is wearing! Charity tells Doll Boy that she and the Old Bat are in deep guano! She accuses them of trying to destroy the pendant, and that it is time for her and the Doll Boy to die! Charity walks towards them doing a wicked witch of the west thing with her hands.

At the club, Theresa tries to convince Gwen not to let the girls eavesdrop on her conversation with Ethan. Gwen tells Theresa that these girls are like her sisters, there is nothing Ethan can say that she can't let them know about. Theresa hides with the other girls, and Ethan shows up to talk to Gwen. Gwen tells Ethan that Theresa and her girlfriends left, so they are all alone. Unfortunately, Rebecca calls Gwen and interrupts her and Ethan's conversation. Rebecca asks about the shower. Gwen says it was fabulous, but she really can't talk right now because Ethan is about to tell her how much he loves her. Gwen says goodbye, and then asks Ethan if that is what he wants to tell her? Ethan tells Gwen that she means the world to him, and the thought of hurting her . . . Unfortunately, Gwen gets ANOTHER call from Rebecca. Rebecca says that Matt and Katie from the Today show want to have her and Ethan on the show. Ethan demands Gwen tell Rebecca to stop interrupting them, so she does so. Gwen tells Ethan to tell her what is in her heart and not to hold back. Ethan tells Gwen that he needed to find the right time to tell her what is in his heart, and he wishes he could say this poetically. Gwen says she's never seen him this emotional, what does he have to tell her? Ethan says it is about the two of them, and their future. Just as Ethan is about to tell Gwen everything, THeresa knocks over a table of pastries to alert Ethan that they aren't alone. Ethan asks who is back there, and the girls come out. Ethan is furious and asks Gwen if she knew they weren't alone? Gwen says she is sorry, she just wanted to let her girlfriends hear what was going on. He is also angry with Theresa for going along with Gwen. Gwen asks Ethan not to be angry with Theresa, she tried to convince her it was a bad idea. Ethan tells Gwen that he wanted them to be alone! Gwen thinks she knows why he wanted to speak to her in private, it is because he wanted to tell her that he loves her more than life itself. Gwen says she feels the same way about him, and all the girls let out an "awwwwww!" when Gwen hugs Ethan. Gwen tells Ethan that she can see the love in his eyes, and she never dreamed she could love someone as much as she loves him. The girls begin to cry because that is the most romantic thing they've ever heard. Suddenly, Rebecca shows up and tells Gwen that the most horrible thing has happened, the shoes for the wedding have been lost! Gwen panics because this is a disaster. She says they must go find replacements right away because it took months to find those. Ethan tells Gwen that they still need to talk, but Gwen says they need to find new shoes now if they still want to be married! Ethan and the girls run off leaving Theresa and Ethan behind. Ethan asks Theresa if she knocked over the tray? Theresa says she did, she had to warn him that they weren't alone. Ethan says it was a good thing she did, but after hearing Gwen bare her soul to him about how much she loves him, this news is going to kill her. Theresa asks him if he's changed his mind about calling the wedding off? Ethan says no, he's still going to call off the wedding before tonight. Ethan and Theresa profess their love to one another and share a kiss. Unfortunately, Gwen realizes she left her car keys behind, and returns to get them!

Luis and Sheridan are on their walk. Luis tells Sheridan that he can't lie to her, and she doesn't deserve someone who lies to her. He tells her that she has to accept him the way he is or not. Sheridan tells Luis that if he can't admit that he said he was using her then she has nothing more to say to him but goodbye. Luis refuses to let Sheridan walk away from him, he refuses to let it end like this. Sheridan says it has to because she can't be with a man she lies to her. Sheridan tells him that she just can't start a relationship with a lie. Luis tells her that he doesn't lie, so Sheridan tells him to admit he said he was using her. Meanwhile, Julian is spying on them and talking to his father on the phone. He says if Sheridan and Luis don't end their relationship today, then they will have to end it for them! Luis tells Sheridan that he could lie to her and say he did use her, but he has never lied to her before and he's not going to start now. Luis tells her not to throw it all away. Sheridan says she knows he must think she is being stubborn, but she is fighting for something real, true, and lasting. She cries that she's sorry it can't be with him, more sorry than he'll ever know. Sheridan runs off, and Julian tells Alistair that they have won.

Sheridan returns home and finds Hank there. She runs into his arms and tells him that he is the only man she can trust. Hank and Sheridan sit down and talk. Sheridan tells Hank that she can't risk another relationship with a man she can't trust, she would just die if she was hurt by another man again. Hank tells Sheridan that he's sorry things didn't work out, but he hopes she trusts him because he would never lie to her, never.

Back in the garden, Luis attacks Julian and accuses him and Ethan of brainwashing Sheridan. He warns Julian that he will get to the bottom of what is going on. Julian says that Sheridan will never trust a lying user like him, but Luis says he is the liar here. Julian reminds Luis about the deal they had made months ago, he was supposed to stay away from his sister. Luis says he can't help it that he was assigned to guard Sheridan, but Julian thinks he took advantage of the situation to get closer to Sheridan. Julian announces that the deal still stands, if he doesn't stay away from his sister than he will have the kidnapping charges reinstated.

Luis goes back to the cottage and interrupts Sheridan and Hank. He tells SHeridan that he has something to say to her. Sheridan tells Luis that they have nothing more to say, and Hank tells Luis to just let it go. Luis says he can't because it is about their future. Luis says that he is still her body guard, but now that the threat has lessened, he feels he can do it from outside the cottage. Julian agrees and thinks that is a fine decision. Luis tells Sheridan from now on he'll stand outside. Luis leaves, and Julian follows him and tells him that he's glad he wised up. Luis says he's backing out of Sheridan's life because she wants nothing to do with him, not because of his threats. Hank comes out and talks to Luis. He tells Luis that now that the field is clear, he's going to make a play for Sheridan.

Back in the cottage, Sheridan thinks about her romantic times with Luis and cries. Luis sees her crying and goes to comfort her. He stares at her as tears stream down her face.
