Tabitha is standing in her living room ranting about how sweet Charity and Miguel are acting that it makes her teeth hurt. Timmy shows up waving a white flag, and she asks him what is up with that? Timmy tells Tabitha that it is over, there is no way she'll get Charity over to the darkside. Tabitha tells Timmy never to underestimate her or her staying power! She swears that she will destroy Miguel and bring Charity over to the dark side if it is the last thing she does! Timmy thinks Tabitha should surrender, but Tabitha refuses. Timmy points out that none of her plans have worked so far. Tabitha says they did succeed in killing Faith, so he should stop complaining. Still, Timmy says everything else has been a disaster, and now the forces in the basement are using the pendant against them. Tabitha reminds him that the pendant was her idea, and it is the forces in the basement who keep messing that plan up by possessing Charity every time she wears it. Tabitha says the pendant was only meant to focus Charity's evil powers, and if the powers in the basement had left her alone then Charity would have joined the darkside long ago. Suddenly, Timmy's flag catches fire, and voices scream that Tabitha has failed them! They order Tabitha to make sure Charity wears the pendant, but Timmy says he doesn't want to see Charity wearing the pendant again. The voices say that if Charity doesn't wear the pendant than Tabitha and Timmy will die! After the voices leave, Tabitha tells Timmy that they have to go make sure Charity does not wear that pendant. Timmy asks Tabitha if she is nuts, they were just threatened with destruction if Charity doesn't wear the pendant! Tabitha says that she will have to use her wits to come up with another way for Charity to kill Miguel without wearing that pendant. Tabitha says if she fails one more time it is the end of the road for the two of them. Suddenly, fireworks begin coming through Tabitha's window, and she wonders who in the hell is shooting at them! Reese and the rest of the kids come in, and Reese apologizes for the fireworks, which did indeed explode. Reese hopes Tabitha won't tell Chief Bennet about the fire works. Tabitha says it will be their secret, and Reese says she is the best. Charity invites Tabitha over to their barbecue, and she says she'd love to come over.
Back at the barbecue, Kay tells Simone that she has a new plan to break up Miguel and CHarirty. She suddenly happens to get bit by a bug and asks Miguel to check it, but Reese the bug expert check instead and tells Kay that there is nothing there. MEanwhile, Tabitha and Timmy search for Charity's purse, which contains the pendant. They hear the voices calling, and it leads them to the purse and the pendant. When they finally get the pendant, Reese sees them and asks why Charity's pendant is glowing? Reese grabs it from her, and it stops glowing, so he thinks it must have just been the reflection of the light. Tabitha asks Reese to give her the pendant so she can take it to the jewelers to have the chain fixed, but Reese says he can do that and that way Charity can wear it tonight.
At the hospital, Whitney and Chad continue to discuss the possibility of Theresa marrying Ethan. Whitney thinks they are about to find out whether or not Theresa's dream will ever come true. Chad says it is going to be a tough call for Ethan, he's come to realize he does love Gwen as well as Theresa, and his decision is going to effect a whole lot of lives. Whitney remembers the deal she made with Theresa, that if Chad did have feelings for her she'd believe Theresa had a chance with Ethan. Meanwhile, Gwen and Ethan show up to see Theresa, Gwen has brought Theresa flowers. Ethan says now that they are all here, there is something that he has to tell them both. Gwen asks Ethan what he wants to talk to them about? Unfortunately, they are interrupted by a nurse who MUST run some tests on Theresa right now. Ethan and Gwen leave, and Gwen asks Ethan what he has to say? Ethan says he wants to her and Theresa at the same time. Gwen says all right, and leaves to call the florist about an idea she just had for the wedding. After she leaves, Ethan comments "If there is a wedding. . . " Chad overhears this and asks Ethan if he is calling off the wedding? Has he decided to spend his life with Theresa? Meanwhile, Whitney goes to talk with Theresa, who says Ethan has said nothing yet, but she is certain he will pick Gwen. Whitney shocks Theresa and says she's not so sure anymore. Whitney says that she thinks, maybe, Ethan does have feelings for her. Theresa doesn't want Whitney to give her false hope, but Whitney says she just feels that Ethan does have feelings for her. Theresa reminds Whitney that if Ethan does pick her then she might have a future with Chad. Gwen and Ethan return, and Whitney leaves to give them all some privacy. Gwen asks Ethan what he has to tell her and Theresa? Ethan starts off by telling Gwen what a wonderful person she is and how close they've grown over the years and how he has strong feelings for her. Gwen says this is all lovely, but she has no idea where he is going with this. Ethan says that love is an unpredictable thing and you never know where it will strike, or what it will require you to do. Gwen still isn't following him, but then realizes exactly what he is going to say. Gwen tells Ethan that he is a wonderful man and he doesn't need to reassure her that he loves her like this. Gwen says that she understands what she overheard earlier, she knows he was pretending to be Theresa's ex-boyfriend Chuck. She says it is a good thing her mom didn't see what she saw because she might think Ethan did have feelings for Theresa, wouldn't that be silly? Gwen asks if that is it, that he wanted to tell Theresa that was the only reason he was kissing her? Ethan says that is not what he was going to say, and he hopes they will have no more interruptions because there is something the three of them needs to talk about. Meanwhile, Whitney mumbles that if Ethan does choose Theresa, her life will never be the same. Chad overhears and asks what she means?
At the cottage, Luis says he's looked for years for the reason his father abandoned his family, and now he knows. Sheridan tells Luis to just say it, he knows now that she killed his father, and he's going to hate for forever. Sheridan breaks down, but Luis tells her not to do this. Luis goes over the events of that night with Sheridan. Hank asks Sheridan if she is absolutely sure about all of this? Sheridan says everything is true, and she is so sorry. Eve says that she really needs to speak to both Luis and Sheridan. Luis sees Julian trying to sneak out, so Luis grabs him. He tells Julian that it is judgement day, just like it says in the Bible, and eye for an eye! Julian begs Luis not to kill him! Sheridan asks Luis not to stop because killing Julian won't change anything. Julian continues to insist that nothing happened, it was only a dream! Hank asks Eve to take care of Sheridan while he takes Luis outside for a breath of fresh air. Once he is alone, Alistair calls Julian to ask how things are going. Julian says just peachy, Sheridan told Luis everything and he just tried to kill him! Julian tells his father that it appears he's lost his touch. Alistair says if he has, he (Julian) will be the one who pays for it by going to jail! However, Alistair tells his son that he'll get him the best lawyer money can buy. Julian says nothing can save him from a life behind bars now. AListair tells him maybe he'll get the death penalty! Outside, Hank asks Luis how he is going to deal with the truth now that he knows it? Luis says he's not sure, he wonders how Sheridan will deal with it? He also hates Julian for keeping this a secret for so long and allowing his entire family to suffer. In her room, Eve comforts a devastated Sheridan. Sheridan says she was hoping the truth would set her free, but now she knows Luis will hate her forever and there is no chance that they'll ever be together. Eve tells Sheridan that they really need to talk, there are some things she needs to know. Sheridan tells Eve that there is nothing she can say that can change things, she and Luis will never be together now.
In the cubicle, Gwen asks Ethan what the three of them have to talk about? She already knows all she needs to know about his love for her. Ethan tells her that she doesn't know everything, he has a lot more to say about his love for her. Ethan says this is difficult for him to say, but he has to tell her how he feels. Suddenly, Gwen is paged. He begs her not to answer that call, but she says it is urgent and she'll make it quick. Gwen leaves, and Ethan says he's had enough of these interruptions, so he goes after her. Ethan begs Gwen to hang up, which angers her. She asks Ethan what he has to say, he is acting like it is going to change the course of their future! Ethan tells her that he said this was important and it is! Gwen informs Ethan that this is a 911 call from her father, so she has to take it! Ethan walks off, and Chad tells Ethan that he feels for him because no matter what he says, he's going to hurt a woman he loves. Ethan says he never thought it could be such torture to love two women.
Meanwhile, Theresa thanks Whitney for giving her hope again about Ethan loving her. She realizes that she has to believe in her dreams. Whitney tells Theresa to just stay calm and focused in order to handle anything that might come your way. Theresa says she doesn't know if she could handle it if Ethan chooses Gwen. Ethan comes to see Theresa, so Whitney leaves. Ethan apologizes to Theresa and says he wishes he could have done this all in one piece, but if he doesn't do it now he won't be able to finish his thoughts. Ethan tells Theresa that everything he said about his feelings for Gwen were true. Theresa asks if when he kissed her and said he loved her, was he doing it just to save her life? Ethan says he'd rather wait for Gwen to return to answer that question. Theresa says she has some thing to say to him, that true love is caring about someone more than you care about herself. She says that what she wants more than anything is for him to be happy, so she wishes him and Gwen all the happiness in the world. Ethan tells her to say no more until Gwen returns, but Theresa says she knows they will be very happy together. Ethan tells her that she doesn't understand, and she has it all wrong. Ethan tells her that he has a lot more to say, he just wants to until Gwen comes back because it is the only honorable thing to do. When enough time passes, Ethan decides to just come right out and tell Theresa the truth. Ethan says he wanted to tell her and Gwen together, but he's not waiting for Gwen any longer. He asks Theresa if she is sure she wants to know what is in his heart? Theresa says yes.
Elsewhere, Rebecca shows up, and Pilar tells her that she will not allow her to upset her daughter. Rebecca tells Pilar that she is way out of her element here, and that no housekeeper will keep her from protecting her daughter's interest. Pilar says that no spoiled socialite will keep her from protecting her daughter! Rebecca refuses to let Theresa go after Ethan, but Pilar says this is between their daughters and Ethan. Rebecca says that anything that concerns her daughter is her business, and she thinks Theresa is a gold digger and is trying to take Ethan from Gwen. Pilar tells her that her daughter is no gold digger! Rebecca vows to prove that she is, no matter what she says. When Rebecca tries to walk away, Pilar grabs her and refuses to allow her to go bother Theresa by calling her names. Rebecca tells Pilar that Theresa brought this upon herself by her own outrageous behavior. Pilar says her daughter is a good, fine working girl. Rebecca says yeah, the blue collar, hard working stereotype, blah blah blah. Pilar says her job may be blue collar, but she does her job well, and her having money doesn't make her any better than her. Pilar warns Rebecca that she will do whatever she must to protect her daughter. Rebecca asks why Theresa needs protecting if she has done nothing wrong? Rebecca asks Pilar for the chance to see Theresa and find out once and for all if she's trying to take Ethan away from Gwen. In fact, Rebecca suggests they both go see her. Pilar agrees to go, but only to prove that her daughter is no gold digger. Pilar prays to God that she can protect Theresa if she is still trying to take Ethan away from Gwen.
In the Bennett's backyard, Kay continues to tell Simone that Miguel will look at her with love in his eyes one day soon. Simone thinks she should forget about Miguel, but Kay refuses, and she tells Simone that she has a new plan to make Miguel hers tonight, and this one is fool proof. Simone asks Kay what her latest scheme is? Kay says she saw it in a movie, a girl washed a guys car in a t-shirt, got all wet, and it made the guy go bonkers when he saw her. Kay then tells everyone that she has a great idea, they should play on their old slip-n-slide! Miguel thinks that is a great idea, but CHarity has never heard of one. Miguel and Kay explain what it is, and Miguel decides to find Reese and set the slip-n-slide up.
Elswhere, Timmy tries to run away, but Tabitha grabs him and tells him that she needs his help in preventing Charity from wearing the pendant. Reese fixes the chain on Charity's pendant and tells Tabitha that he is going to go give it to Charity right now. Tabitha tells Reese that it isn't a good idea to give the pendant to Charity right now because she wants to clean it, but Reese says he already did that! Charity shows up, and when she sees that Reese fixed the pendant, she asks him to put it on her. Reese puts it on, and Charity reverts to the Evil Charity. Her eyes begin to glow, and she smiles at Tabitha and Timmy and says "perfect!" Evil Charity tells Reese that Miguel and the others are setting up the slip-n-slide, so he leaves to help. Tabitha tries to sneak away, but Evil Charity won't let her leave. She yells at Tabitha for trying to keep Charity from wearing the pendant, and they (the demons) have had enough of her pathetic, inept attempts to bring Charity over to the darkside. Evil Charity tells her that she has failed, and now she is going to die! Timmy screams "No!" and jumps out of Tabitha's arms in order to run away. Tabitha follows him, and Charity starts shooting balls of fire at them! Timmy ends up getting down on his knees and praying for help. Tabitha tells Timmy that they don't pray, and it is not like anyone up there would hear them! Charity tells Tabitha and her little doll to prepare to die! Suddenly, the angel girl shows up and stands in front of Timmy. She heard Timmy's prayers and says she's come to save him and Charity, but Evil Charity tells her that she is too late, she won't be saving anyone. However, Evil Charity does tell her that she has arrived just in time to see the end of all that she's worked for. Evil Charity tells "Doll Baby" that it really is time for him to say his prayers! The angel begs Charity not to do this and tells her what a good person she is. The angel tells her to fight the Evil with all her heart and soul. Charity begins to twitch as she fights the evil of the pendant. Charity breaks free of the pendant for a moment, but the demons re-take over her. Timmy also pleads with Charity to fight them and come back to her sweet self. Charity returns to herself, and she asks what is happening. The angel tells Charity that they almost lost her to the darkside. However, it was only a trick as Charity's eyes glow red once more and she says "Well that would have sucked!" The angel continues to tell Charity to fight, but Evil Charity tells the angel girl that the fight is over and her boss lost, so she should get the hell out of here! Timmy wonders where his sweet Charity has gone, and Tabitha tells him "straight to hell!"
Meanwhile, Kay's plan doesn't work out at all as she ends up sliding into Sam's fall garden, which is currently a mudpit!
At the cottage, Julian weeps as his father tells him that Sheridan will hang him out to dry at trial, and he just might get the death penalty. He says that conspiracy in a murder is punishable by death as well. Julian says all he tried to do is save Sheridan from the trauma, but Julian tells him that trials are juicy dramas, and most people in Harmony hate their family. Julian starts to whimper, and Alistair tells him getting the death penalty is just a worse case scenario, and he should be worried about getting out of that cottage alive for the time being. Julian says "Luis?" and Alistair tells him that Luis will be after blood, his blood! Julian doesn't see why he has to take the fall on his own when his father is just as involved. AListair says there is no proof of that, and besides Julian is a much easier target. He doesn't know what Eve was thinking telling Luis everything, he guesses she doesn't care that her own life will be ruined. Julian says she cares, and perhaps she thinks they will be to preoccupied saving their own butts to tell her husband what they know. Alistair says what Eve thinks is irrelevant, they need to focus on keeping Luis from destroying the house of Crane.
Outside, Luis tells Hank that Julian could have saved his family a whole lot of pain by telling them the truth, but he enjoyed seeing his family suffer. Luis can't believe this is happening, he looses his father as a kid, and now the woman he wants to be with is the one who killed him. Luis wonders how Sheridan could have lived with this all these years. Hank says that Sheridan didn't remember it until that night, but Luis says everything in Harmony, including him, will now remind her what happened that night. Luis also can't imagine how he's going to tell this to his mother, she loves Sheridan like her own and she never believed papa ran out on them. Luis tells Hank that he is sorry to keep saying this because he knows he has feelings for Sheridan, but the one woman he thought he had a chance at having a relationship with killed his father, how can he live with that? Hank tells Luis there is only one way to find out what comes next, they have to go back in there and finish this. Luis says he is right, and there is only one thing left for him to do to help both him and Sheridan to get on with their lives.
In Sheridan's bedroom, Sheridan cries that she killed the father of the man she wants to be with and now they can never be together. Eve tells her not to say that. Sheridan asks Eve if she can honestly tell her there is hope for her and Luis? Of course not, any chance she had to be with Luis is over! Sheridan says that even if Luis forgives her, he won't be able to forget it. Eve says that many people work through tragedies like these, and isn't it worth trying? Sheridan says she just doesn't see how Luis could ever want to be with her. Eve says she knows Luis very well and he can handle almost anything. Sheridan wishes she could share Eve's opinion. She says even if they managed to get through with this and marry, how would they tell their children that their mother killed their grandfather? Sheridan says it is over, she'll never find love, no one will ever love her after this.
Back in the living area, Luis and Hank show up, and Luis asks Julian if he is asking daddy for protection? Eve and Sheridan show up, and Julian asks what happens now? Sheridan says she doesn't know, but Luis does! Luis says this has turned from a personal matter to a professional one, and it has become an investigation. Luis tells Julian that before he leaves tonight, someone is going to be under arrest!
At the Bennett's, Sam has just returned from a run and finds Grace on the phone with Noah. Sam says into the phone that he's ticked off at him for not coming home and he doesn't care how good looking his new girlfriend is. Noah promises he'll be home soon, and Grace says goodbye. Sam asks Grace if she didn't just talk to Noah earlier? She admits that she did, and Sam realizes that Grace is still nervous about the angel's warning. Later, Grace tells Sam about Theresa's accident and how she took Miguel's motorcycle because she was upset with Ethan. Sam gets all fired up and blames Ethan for Theresa's accident, and Grace tries to calm him down. She wonders what is with him and the Cranes, she gets a feeling that there is some personal reason he doesn't like them? Sam remembers Ivy trying to seduce him up at the cabin, and Grace says she thinks she's figured out what is going on. She thinks that he is afraid that Ivy and Julian's younger son might return home and catch the eye of one of their daughters. Sam says "over my dead body!" but Grace says you can't control love, look at Luis and Sheridan. Sam says that will never happen, and he thinks they should talk about something more pleasant.
In the Bennett's backyard, Kay has changed out of her muddy clothes and is down in the dumps. Simone says she did get Miguel's attention, but Kay says that is because she looked like Swamp Thing. Kay asks the guys what they should do now? Reese suggests they take turns spraying the rest of the mud out of her hair because she looks like Pig Pen from Peanuts. Kay ends up running back inside, and Reese wonders if it was something he said. Elsewhere, the angel continues to urge Charity to fight the evil trying take over her soul, but Evil Charity says that Charity belongs to the dark side now and there is not a damn thing she can do about it! Charity begins laughing evilly and yells "Long live evil and mayhem!" Kay, who was going inside, hears Charity laughing and goes to see what the source of the odd sound is. Evil Charity tells the angel girl to get lost because what is about to happen won't be a pretty site. The angel once again tries to reach Charity, but the Evil Charity replies "Hello! Haven't you been listening to a word we've said? Charity is not home, she's taken a little hike and we are the new tenets!" Timmy cries at the thought of losing his sweet Charity, but Tabitha tells him to get used to it. Kay shows up and sees Charity talking to thin air and says Charity really is a nut job. The angel refuses to leave, so Evil Charity starts swatting at the angel and it seems to cause her pain. Tabitha and Timmy see Kay, and Tabitha hopes Charity's demons don't see her or she will be in big trouble! Unfortunately, Kay asks Charity if she is okay? What is wrong with her voice? Perhaps she needs to go back to the hospital. Evil Charity cracks her knuckles and turns around to confront Kay. Charity turns back to normal, and asks Kay why she's looking at her like that? Kay says that she was just talking to herself and her voice was sounding very strange. Charity thinks she might be coming down with a cold or something. The angel girl leaves, and Charity asks Kay why her hair is all wet? Kay says she just felt like washing it! The others show up and Miguel says Grace just took some blueberry pies out of the oven, and he invites Tabitha to join them. As they leave, Kay tells Simone what Miss Pastey Face has been up to. Simone thinks Charity is fine, so Kay asks Tabitha is Charity has been acting weird today? Tabitha says she doesn't think so. Kay can't believe she's asking a woman who carries a doll around, and she fears Miguel really will be in danger if he stays with Charity.
The kids go inside, where Sam and Grace are kissing, and Grace serves them pie a la mode. Timmy quickly grabs a bite, and gets blueberries all over his face. Grace sees this and asks if she's been feeding pie to her little doll? Tabitha says no, and is shocked that he has pie on his face. Meanwhile, Charity overhears Kay telling Simone that they better keep an eye on Charity the nut job to make sure she doesn't slip anything into their drinks. When Tabitha goes to the sink to wash Timmy's face off, the Evil Charity tells her that they have to do something about Kay because she's getting on their nerves! Charity says that this thing Kay has for Miguel is bound to get in the way of their plans. Charity's eyes stop glowing, and she brings the pitcher of lemonade over to the table and SLAMS it down hard. She asks Sam if he ever found out how those fish guts got dumped on her? Sam says he's afraid not, his team has been so busy trying to figure out what went wrong on the boat with the storm, and the fish guts incident was just an unfortunate accident. Still, Charity says she can't help but think that the fish guts where linked to the other tragedy, and she feels someone did this to her deliberately. She asks Kay if that is possible? Kay and Simone get up and leave, and Kay fears that Charity knows what they did to her! Evil Charity thinks Kay has been dealt with, for the time being. She says that if Kay doesn't stay out of things that are none of her business then she'll just have to die too. Charity tells Tabitha that it is time to get on with the killing of Miguel, he must die tonight!
At the hospital, Ivy shows up and can't believe what is going on here. Theresa has been involved in a motorcycle accident and Rebecca is throwing around accusations about her and her son! Pilar says that she asked her not to bother her daughter, but Rebecca says she is going to bother that little gold digger until she gets her to admit the truth. Ivy tells Rebecca that she owes Pilar an apology. Rebecca says that she won't get one from her because she knows Theresa is after Ethan, even if Gwen won't believe it. Ivy tells Rebecca that she should be ashamed of herself for putting such ideas into her daughter's head right before the wedding. Rebecca tells Ivy that she didn't have to put any ideas into Gwen's head, Gwen walked in on Ethan professing his love to Theresa and giving her kisses! Ivy says that is impossible! Rebecca says that her naive Gwen believes that Ethan was pretending to be some boy Theresa likes to keep her from dying from a broken heart, but she knows better. Rebecca suggests they all go see Theresa and ask her this, but Ivy says they will catch up to her. Rebecca leaves, and Pilar apologizes to Ivy. Ivy tells her that normally she doesn't give credence to anything that comes out of that mean spirited gossip's mouth, but she can't stop thinking about Eve Russell's warning about an angel appearing to Grace and predicting a disaster concerning Ethan. She says if anything got in the way of Ethan's marriage it would be a disaster, so they should catch up with Rebecca and talk to the parties involved.
Whitney and Chad wait outside Theresa's cubicle and await Ethan's announcement to Theresa. Gwen's mother shows up as do Pilar and Ivy. Whitney and Chad tell Pilar that Ethan was just about to tell Theresa which girl he wants to be with. Pilar fears that Theresa will be torn apart by Rebecca and Ivy, and she asks Whitney and Chad to help her protect Theresa. As Ethan is about to make his choice, Rebecca and Ivy walk in on him and Theresa and find Ethan down on one knee by Theresa's bedside! Rebecca accuses Theresa of manipulating Ethan to her bedside by staging a motorcycle accident! Pilar refuses to allow Rebecca to talk to her daughter that way, and Ethan says neither will he! Rebecca can't believe Theresa has him defending her now, and she says she has a right to know what is going on between him and Theresa! Rebecca demands that Ethan tell them his true feelings for Theresa! Ivy doesn't know what Rebecca hopes to accomplish by putting her son on the spot. Ivy tells Ethan that Rebecca won't let go until he puts her mind at ease, so would he please explain how he came to be in this seemingly intimate situation. Ethan says this is hardly the time or place. Ivy asks Ethan to do this for her, tell Rebecca that his marriage to Gwen is as important to him as it is to the whole family. Pilar tells Theresa that she better hope Ethan chooses Gwen! Ivy tells Ethan once again to tell Rebecca that he loves Gwen and doesn't have feelings for Theresa. Ethan says he's sorry, but he can't do that. Chad cheers Ethan on, but Whitney thinks Ethan has just signed Theresa's death warrant. Rebecca tells Theresa that she has won the prize for the best conniving gold digger, and that Ivy should be ashamed of herself for being so naive as to let Theresa work for her in her home and have Ethan take Theresa out to the ballet. Theresa says that is probably the night she seduced him! Ivy says this isn't true, is it Ethan? Ethan says of course not, and he won't be bullied into saying something that is none of her business. Ethan says this is between him, Theresa, and Gwen. Ivy is getting scared, but Ethan tells her not to be, Rebecca has gotten her upset when she need not be. Rebecca asks Ivy if she is satisfied? Ivy says they don't know anything yet, but Rebecca says the fact that Ethan hasn't denied he has feelings means that Theresa has sunk her claws into him. Still, Ivy refuses to believe anything until she hears it from Ethan. Chad can't believe it, but he actually feels sorry for Ethan. Meanwhile, Gwen is on the phone with her father, who is very upset about a deal. She says that she really needs to go, but she'll call him later. Gwen returns, and Rebecca tells Ethan that Gwen is coming, so they finally will get to hear the truth.
At the hospital, Gwen finally returns and says that her father is very upset about a big deal which isn't going well. Rebecca worries about her husband because he's not supposed to get worked up, it's not good for his blood pressure. Gwen asks what is going on, and Rebecca once again shoots off her mouth how she is not convinced that Theresa isn't after Ethan. Gwen tells her mother that she is sick of this, Theresa is her friend and she trusts her. Rebecca thinks Gwen should ask Theresa if Ethan loves her, so Gwen does so to please her mother. Theresa says that Ethan does not love her. Gwen is satisfied, but Rebecca is not and thinks they should ask Ethan. Rebecca asks Ethan if he loves Theresa? Right as Ethan is about to reveal the truth, Gwen receives a phone call and learns her father has had a heart attack! Gwen and Rebecca are forced to leave, and Chad asks Ethan who he chose? Ethan says no one, he couldn't break Gwen's heart by telling her that he did love Theresa right after she learned her father had a heart attack. Theresa remains convinced that Ethan doesn't love her, and that he will marry Gwen after all.
At the cottage, Luis can't arrest Sheridan and thinks he is too emotionally involved and should call in another officer. Julian taunts Luis, so Luis prepares to arrest Sheridan when she insists he do so. As he is about to arrest her, Eve says he can't do it because Sheridan is innocent! Eve explains that there was no body, it was all a nightmare just like Alistair and Julian told Sheridan. She explains that Sheridan only thinks she saw a body because of her misplaced guilt over her mother's death. When Sheridan was born her mother lost a lot of blood and was bedridden for a long time. When SHeridan's mother eventually passed away when Sheridan was young, Sheridan blamed herself for her mother's death because of her difficult birth and the consequences it had on her mother's health. She says that is what the nightmare was about, the body under the sheet was her mother. Sheridan is relieved that she didn't kill anyone, but Luis is not convinced and thinks Eve is lying!
In the shed, Kay tells Miguel that it is so hot, maybe he should take his shirt off. Miguel thinks that is a good idea, and Kay gawks at his body. Evil Charity sees Kay in with Miguel and says that if Kay wants to be with Miguel so badly then she can die with him. Charity casts another spell on the twig-snakes and calls upon them to kill Miguel and Kay. Back in the shed, Miguel grabs the lanterns and says they should get out, but Kay tells him that he can't leave! Kay says she wants to talk to him about Charity, she's really worried about her. Kay tells him what she saw earlier, and how she feels that Charity might end up back in a hospital soon. Miguel says that won't happen, Charity is not a danger to anyone. Back outside, Timmy has had it and refuses to stick any more twigs through the hole in the door even if it means Tabitha never gets her powers back. Evil Charity tells Doll Baby to do as he's told, and then she zaps the stick in his hand and turns it into a snake. Timmy screams in terror as the snake slithers around in his hand. Tabitha begs Evil Charity to help him, he didn't mean it. Evil Charity says if they disobey them again then they will give them snakes for hair. She then turns the snake back to a twig, and Timmy thanks the evil one. In the shed, Miguel notices that the lanterns are empty and starts searching for oil. Back outside, Reese and Simone approach Evil Charity, and Reese asks where Kay is. Charity says she doesn't know, but Miguel is in the shed looking for lanterns. Reese decides to go help, and Simone realizes Reese might walk in on Kay seducing Miguel. Evil Charity could care less and says all the brats can die as far as she cares. Simone stops Reese from going in, and tells him to show Charity and Tabitha the snake he found. Charity is shocked, but Reese says it is just a harmless gardener snake, it's not like it is a black mamba. Reese leaves to find his snake, and Tabitha asks Evil Charity if that is what she is producing here? Evil Charity grins and says "Yeeeeesssss! One has enough venom to kill ten men, and ten women!" Timmy wants to try and get the pendant off of Charity again, but Tabitha tells him that he can't take a risk like that again and that Miguel must die tonight! Back in the shed, Kay pretends to sprain her ankle so Miguel can help her out and put his hands on her legs. Suddenly, Kay notices that there are snakes everywhere. Kay starts freaking out, and Miguel asks what is wrong, does her leg hurt that bad? Miguel looks around and realizes they are surrounded by snakes. Kay screams, and Simone exclaims "That was Kay!" Charity acts innocent and asks if Kay is there with Miguel? Simone says yes, and something is seriously wrong. Charity turns around and starts to laugh. Simone bangs on the door, which Kay locked, and asks for some help. Charity rubs her hands together and says Kay and Miguel will be dead very very soon! Reese returns, and Simone and Reese see all the snakes around the shed. Reese realizes those are black mambas and he asks Simone to go call the police. Kay eventually faints as Miguel swats the snakes away with a pillow. Reese uses his palm pilot to look up info on black mambas. As he explains that snakes are signs of evil and the forces of darkness, Charity smiles and bobs her head back and forth. Kay wakes back up and continues to scream.
At the hospital, Whitney tells Theresa that she shouldn't be so anxious to hear what Ethan has to say because she thinks he's still going to choose Gwen. Whitney says that if he chooses her it will tear his family apart and make him miserable. Theresa knows that Ethan loves Gwen, and she realizes he will marry her and she'll have to find a way to go on. Whitney wonders why Theresa puts herself through this. Theresa says she can't help the way she feels. Whitney says she can count her out of the game of love, even if Ethan does choose her, she's not upholding her end of the deal after seeing the pain that love causes. Theresa yells Whitney that she can't run from love, but Whitney says she has control over her feelings, and she doesn't want any part of the heartache love causes. Still, Theresa says she is still glad she told Ethan that she loved him because she knows that he also cares for her.
Chad talks with Ethan, who says he loves both Theresa and Gwen. Ethan doesn't want to hurt Gwen, and if his love for Theresa isn't strong enough to make him pull away from Gwen, then he has to be honest with Theresa about that. Ethan also says that if Gwen's father doesn't pull through, she will need him now more than ever. Chad doesn't envy Ethan because he has to hurt someone. Ethan says if he decides to go through with the wedding he can't tell Gwen about his feelings for Theresa, but he can't pretend he doesn't have feelings for Theresa. Chad suggests he puts the breaks on the wedding for awhile, but Ethan says Gwen will wonder why and he'll have to tell her, and then she'll probably dump him. CHad thinks that would be best because it would allow him to be free to love Theresa. Ethan says the problem is that he still loves Gwen. Chad tells Ethan that he can't have his cake and eat it too, how can he marry Gwen when every cell in his body is aching to be with Theresa? Pilar shows up and tells Ethan that she feels it is best if he and Theresa don't see one another for awhile. Ethan tells Pilar that he would never hurt Theresa, but Pilar says he is under a lot of pressure right now from his family. Pilar tells Ethan that his family would never accept the daughter of a housekeeper into their family, so before he goes in there and says something he regrets to her daughter, think about that.
Pilar goes in to see Theresa. She has brought her a change of clothes because the doctors say she can go home. Theresa asks her mom to tell Whitney that it is worth anything to find love. Pilar says that some obstacles just can't be overcome. Meanwhile, Chad asks Ethan if Theresa's mom is right, would his family reject Theresa? Ethan says his father, mother, and grandfather would be furious if he married Theresa. Chad asks if they care at all about what he wants? Ethan says his family wants what they think will make him happy. Chad tells Ethan that he has to think long and hard before he makes a decision because this will effect the rest of his life. Ethan thought love was supposed to be a wonderful thing, but now he sees that it is a double edged sword. Ethan says that he knows he has to hurt one or both of them, but he knows what he has to do. Ethan calls Gwen and leaves a message telling her that he wants to be there for her and her family, and that he loves her. Theresa overhears this and is heartbroken. Ethan tells Theresa that his car is out front so he will take her home. Pilar says it isn't necessary, but Ethan wants to do this. As Ethan drives Theresa and Pilar home, Theresa dreams of marrying Ethan. They eventually arrive home, and Ethan thinks that they should wait until tomorrow when Gwen is with them to continue their talk. Theresa asks if there is anything else to say? Ethan says there is. He says he'll call her in the morning to see how she feels, and tells her goodnight. As he is leaving, Theresa stops him and says she can't live another night without knowing whether he loves her or not. She says if he doesn't love her than he should turn around and walk away, that way she'll know he cares for her, just not as much as he cares for Gwen. Ethan doesn't walk away, and Thersa jumps into his arms. The two then share a passionate kiss.
At the cottage, Luis tells Eve that something isn't right with her explanation. Sheridan feels there must be some kind of connection between her nightmares and Luis' father's disappearance. Luis asks Eve why she let Sheridan get all upset when she knew all along that Sheridan didn't kill his father? Julian hopes that Eve can come up with a really good lie to tell Luis or he'll end up in prison. Luis gets the feeling that she doesn't want Sheridan to connect her nightmares with his father's disappearance. Julian tells Luis to stop bullying Eve. Luis thinks that Julian has threatened Eve in some way, and he tells Eve that both he and Sheridan deserve to know the truth, did Sheridan murder his father? Sheridan says she needs to know the truth? Luis asks if his father is still alive, did he run out on them? Sheridan begs Eve not to protect her from the truth, she is ready to face the consequences. Eve asks "Even if it means Luis is going to hate you?" Julian tells Luis to just accept the fact that his father ran out on him and the rest of his litter. Luis tells Julian to shut up, and Eve once again explains that Sheridan's nightmares are misplaced guilt over her mother's death. Luis asks Eve why she let Sheridan believe she killed his father? Eve says she had to let Sheridan purge herself of her supposed guilt so that she could pull her back to reality and let her know she had nothing to do with Martin's murder. Eve says that Sheridan told her that the face she saw under the sheet was her mother's. Sheridan says she could never see a face in her nightmares, so maybe she didn't kill anyone. Hank says it makes sense to him, he doesn't believe she could kill anyone. Julian demands to be uncuffed because there is no murder he can be charged with! Luis still doesn't believe it, but Sheridan says Eve wouldn't lie, it wouldn't be ethical. Julian demands to be uncuffed, so Luis does so. When they are away from the others, Julian tells Eve that they both know that Sheridan killed Luis' father, but she lied like a pro. Meanwhile, Sheridan tells Luis that he must be relieved to know his father is still alive, but Luis says he still isn't convinced. Luis tells Hank that he will go to the grave believing that Julian and Alistair had something to do with his father's disappearance. Hank tells him to drop it for tonight, and then he says goodnight to everyone. Eve decides to leave as well, and Sheridan thanks her for everything. She tells Sheridan not to think about the past anymore and concentrate on the future, both of their futures. Sheridan tells Luis she wanted to help him find out the truth, but she's glad she didn't kill his father because she couldn't bear to see the hatred in his eyes. Luis tells her that he wouldn't have hated her. As Sheridan cries, Luis takes her in his arms and comforts her.
Outside, Eve tells Julian that she believes God will forgive her for lying because she saved Luis and Sheridan from a lot of pain. Julian says she seems to be implying that Luis and Sheridan have some type of relationship. Eve says it is obvious they both want to have one, and she couldn't let that secret destroy their future. Julian tells her that she was always such a romantic. Eve tells him not to come onto her or she might change his mind. Julian calls his father, and Alistair orders Julian to find a way to destroy Luis and Sheridan's relationship, they must never discover the truth!
