October 99 Week 4

Monday

October 25
The show was interrupted a few times, once for a local traffic accident and one for a plane accident.
Out in the Bennett's yard, Tabitha and Timmy spy on Kay and Simone. Kay is outraged that she's lost her room and Miguel to Charity. Jessica screams down at Kay from her room that Charity will be so happy up here. Charity and Miguel both thank Kay from the window. Kay asks Simone what she's done to deserve this? Simone tells her not to think about it, but Kay says she worked so hard fixing up that room. Kay thinks someone up there really doesn't like her. Tabitha loves the way Kay works, and she tells Timmy to go back to the house. Timmy leaves, and Tabitha calls to "Cinnamon" and Kay. Simone promptly corrects Tabitha by saying her name is Simone. Tabitha tells Kay that she's placed her favorite pie pan on the top shelf and she can't reach it. She asks Kay to help her out. When Kay says she is busy, Tabitha lays a guilt trip on her in order to get her over to her house.

Up in Charity's room, Miguel and Jessica are busy playing videogames. Jessica asks Charity if she wants to play? Charity says she doesn't know how to play. Jessica says Miguel can teach her, but Charity says maybe later. Charity begins wondering what if she never remember the past. Miguel tells her not to say that, and Jessica tells Charity that she can't force it. Later, Charity decides to try and learn how to play videogames. Charity sits on the bed next to Miguel, and he teaches her how to play.

Tabitha puts out some gingersnaps and lemonade for Kay, and tells Timmy to keep his hands off the cookies. Timmy asks for just one, but she tells him no. Tabitha leaves to answer the door, and Timmy goes lifeless. Kay sits down on the couch next to Timmy, and Tabitha asks Kay about how her life is going. Tabitha tells Kay that she heard she gave her room away to Charity, not a lot of girls would have done that. They soon start talking about boys. Kay says there is one she likes, but she doesn't think he'll ever look at her the way she does him. Tabitha tells her that she must never give up, when she was young she gave up on a boy and lost him to a goody-goody. The scenario she paints is exactly the same situation Kay is in. Tabitha tells Kay that she lost the love of her life and she never felt the same about anyone else. Tabitha says her boy married the girl she lost him to, but he ended up desperately unhappy and she wished she had fought for him. Kay tells Tabitha that she is the only one who understands her, and she says she will do whatever it takes! The show was interrupted for news on a plane crash at this point. When it came back on Timmy and fluffy were fighting behind the couch. Tabitha tells Kay that her cat just a thing about the doll. Tabitha eventually intervenes when Fluffy begins to rip the stuffing out of Timmy. Tabitha then gives Kay a gift, one of her charm bracelets. Tabitha tells her to let this bracelet give her the strength to win the boy she loves.

Kay leaves and goes back to her own yard. Jessica tells Kay that her room is really helping Charity, Miguel and Charity are up there playing Star Avenger. Kay grows even more upset because that was the game she bought to play with Miguel. Back upstairs, Charity beats Miguel and becomes "Mistress of the Universe." When Miguel goes to touch her, Charity backs off and tells him not to. She apologizes, but he says he is sorry and he didn't mean anything. Charity says she over-reacted. Miguel decides to give her some space and tells her that he'll see her tomorrow. Back outside, Kay tells Simone about her meeting with Tabitha and how she lost the boy she loved. Kay thinks Tabitha is nice and might give her a lot of cool stuff, in fact if she plans to visit her often, Tabitha may will her all her stuff when she dies. Simone tells her that is cold, but Kay says Tabitha is lonely, she even made a talking doll to keep herself company. Little does she know, Tabitha and Timmy are once again spying on her.

Pilar drops by Sheridan's place with some laundry for her, and to thank her for helping Theresa out last night at the ballet. She tells Pilar once again that her son is so arrogant and controlling. She thinks that Luis gives his sister no breathing room. Pilar says Luis doesn't want Theresa getting involved with the wrong man. Sheridan says that Luis doesn't want Theresa getting involved with a Crane. Pilar says she is right. Pilar puts away the laundry, and comes across the paper which has a photo of Theresa and Ethan at the ballet. Pilar fears that Luis will read the paper once he gets to the youth center, because he always reads it at the center. Sheridan offers to go to the center and keep him from reading the paper.

At the youth center, Hank finds Luis beating the heck out of a punching bag. Luis tells Hank how Sheridan messed up his attempt to catch a mugger. Luis is still angry and blames Sheridan for getting in the way of his promotion. Luis and Hank continue their conversation about Sheridan in the locker room. Luis can't wait till Sheridan is out of his life, but Hank says she still has a lot of hours left to work off. Luis says he has been thinking about that, he's decided not to be so strict about when she signs in and out. Hank can't believe he is willing to bend the rules for Sheridan. Luis says he's just thinking about it right now. Luis tells Hank that before Sheridan gets here he hopes to kick back and read the paper.

Sheridan shows up at the youth center and Luis is surprised she is here so early. Sheridan says she wanted to come early and get a jump on things. The show was interrupted at this point for a local traffic accident. Sheridan goes into Luis' office to steal his paper, but Luis catches her. Sheridan says she was just looking for a new time card. Hank invites Sheridan next door for some coffee, and she accepts. Luis asks Sheridan to bring him back an espresso. On the way out, Sheridan buries the paper in the trash. Luis continues looking around for his paper and eventually finds it in the trash. He sits back down at his desk and starts to reading it. Sheridan and Hank return, and Hank asks her to considers going out with him on Halloween. When Sheridan sees Luis reading the paper, she blurts out "Oh no!" Luis and Hank both stare at her.

At the mansion, Theresa asks Ethan why he is looking at her the way he is? Ethan tells Theresa that her eyes are exquisite, something an upset Gwen overhears. Gwen decides to barge in and Ethan gives her a kiss. Theresa realizes that Ethan prepared dinner for Gwen, not her. Gwen asks why Theresa is dressed up? Ethan says she must have a date with her dream guy. Theresa leaves, and is devastated. Ethan tells Gwen to sit down and starts to tell her what they will be having. Gwen stops him and asks if something is going on between him and Theresa that he hasn't told her about. She says he never told her that her eyes were exquisite. Ethan says he didn't know it was a crime to pay her a compliment. Gwen asks why she was here in the first place? Ethan says she was helping him plan the dinner. Gwen demands that Ethan tell her what Theresa means to him. When Ethan shouts that Theresa means nothing to him, Theresa hears him from the hall and is hurt again. Ethan tells Gwen something, which I didn't hear because of a news interruption, and Gwen smiles. Ethan tells her that he's loved her for as long as he remembers. He says she has the eyes he wants to wake up and look into for the rest of his, of their lives. Gwen says she feels like a jerk. Ethan gives her a kiss and pours her some champagne. Gwen can't believe all the trouble Ethan went to for her. Ethan and Gwen start dancing, and Ethan tells "Theresa" that she is the one who makes it all perfect. Gwen pushes Ethan away, and Ethan apologizes and says he was thinking about her. Gwen is outraged and storms out of the mansion.

Upstairs, Theresa can't believe she thought Ethan could love her. When she says she wishes she was never born, Pilar walks in and tells Theresa that she never wants to hear her say that again. Pilar tells Theresa that she has to find another boy. She also tells Theresa that a picture of her and Ethan is in today's Herald. Pilar shows it to her, and Theresa freaks out. Pilar says that Sheridan is trying to keep Luis from seeing the paper, and she (Theresa) should go home and get rid of theirs. Theresa heads downstairs and begins dreaming of what could have happened between her and Ethan tonight. Ethan asks her to wait, and she stops on the staircase. Theresa ends up tripping, and she falls right into Ethan's arms. Outside, Gwen decides to go back in and try to work things out with Ethan. She decides to apologize to him, only to walk in on Theresa in his arms.

October 25
Whitney is on the docks thinking about Chad. She says the boy is bad news and she has to keep him out of Simone and her family's life.

Kay is still whining to Simone about Miguel and Charity. Miguel left to go home and catch up on his school work, he didn't even get to spend time with Kay. Simone tells Kay to chill out, there is nothing she can do! Kay continues to whine that she's sick of her life revolving around Miss Goody Tushues. Kay doesn't understand what Charity has that she doesn't. Simone tells Kay that Miguel loves Charity for who she is on the inside, not what she is on the outside. Kay doesn't want to have to go inside and look at Charity and Jessica's faces, so Simone suggests they go find Chad. Kay comes up with a plan to get Chad and Simone together. Simone wants details, but Kay tells her to just trust her. Kay thinks they should go back to the pool hall and see if Chad is there. Simone says the pool hall is on the bad side of town, but Kay says Chad probably wants a woman who is a little bit dangerous. Simone agrees to go with her, and is glad Whitney isn't here to ruin things. Out of the blue, actually the bushes, Whitney shows up and asks them where they think they are going? Kay says they are just going to get some videos, Simone is staying to her house for the night. Simone tells her sister to chill, but Whitney tells Simone that she should be grateful to her after last night. She then asks her if she's heard from Chad? Simone says no and she probably won't. Whitney tells Simone that mom wants her to stay away from Chad, he is nothing but trouble.

Chad goes to the pool hall and talks with the bartender about music and women. Chad thinks women complicate things, but the bartender says he just hasn't found the right woman. Some pool playing guys show up and Chad decides to gets in on the game to earn some money. Kay and Simone show up and see Chad playing. Kay tells Simone that she has to play hard to get, let him notice her first. The bartender tells Chad that the girl from last night just walked in. Chad looks over at them, and Kay tells Simone to stay calm. They sit down and try and act casual. Chad tells the bartender that as soon as he finishes this game he'll get them out of here. Chad ends up winning, and Kay and Simone cheer him on. Chad approaches Kay and Simone and suggests they get out of here and go someplace more interesting. Kay says that they don't know much about this side of town, so maybe he can show them around. Chad asks them how they got away from the watchdog? Simone says Whitney is probably at home like the good little daughter she is.

At the youth center, Sheridan blurts out "Oh no!" when she sees Luis reading the paper. Hank and Luis look at her, and Luis asks what is wrong? Sheridan covers and says she thought she forget the cream for his coffee, but she was wrong. After some quick thinking, Sheridan trips and dumps the coffee all over the paper. She ruins the paper, and Luis accuses her of doing it on purpose. Luis leaves to change, and Hank tells Sheridan that she did do that on purpose, and he wants to know why. Sheridan tells Hank that there is something in the paper she didn't want Luis to see. Hank wants to know what? Sheridan tells him to just trust her. Luis shows up in a new shirt and says he's going to the Book Cafe to get a new paper. Sheridan offers to do that for him, but he tells her to stay here and start decorating for the Halloween party. Luis leaves and Sheridan worries. She had planned on telling Luis that they were sold out of papers. Hank decides to help by calling Beth and asking her to tell Luis that she is sold out of the paper. She agrees to do that for Hank, and Sheridan smiles at him. She thanks him, and then she and Hank begin working on the Halloween decorations. Sheridan thanks him for not questioning her about why she wanted to keep the paper from Luis. Hank says he understands completely, there are things he wouldn't want people to know. However, he does admit he is a bit curious about why she is doing this. He asks if this will hurt Luis? Sheridan says no, there is something in the paper that would just upset him and ruin the lives of two other people.

At the mansion, Gwen walks back in ready to apologize to Ethan, only to find Theresa in his arms. Gwen says she didn't mean to interrupt them! Ethan says this is not what it looks like, Theresa tripped while coming down the steps and he caught her. Gwen thinks that is a lame excuse and she says she doesn't even know who he is anymore. Gwen takes off in her car and Theresa apologizes to Ethan. Ethan says Gwen is just upset, he'll go after her and try to explain things.

In Gwen's car, Gwen's phone rings, but she won't answer. Ethan pulls up behind her and starts honking his horn, so she eventually pulls over. She tells Ethan to go away, she doesn't want to talk about it. Ethan tells her that she has misunderstood everything. He asks her to take a walk with him so he can explain. Gwen gets out of her car and Ethan tries to explain everything to her, but Gwen thinks Theresa's falling wasn't an accident. Ethan assures Gwen that nothing is going on between him and Theresa. Gwen says what he is saying makes sense to a man, but she thinks Theresa has feelings for him, and she wonders if he is beginning to have feelings for her! Ethan thinks that is idiotic, which Gwen interprets as him calling her an idiot. Luis shows up and sees them fighting, but doesn't hang around long enough to overhear they are discussing his sister. They continue arguing about Theresa's motives. Gwen is positive Theresa has feelings for Ethan, and it hurt to see her in his arms. She says it may have been because she fell, but she wanted to be there. Ethan asks her to come back to the house with him to talk, but Gwen says there is nothing more to say. Gwen gets in her car and drives away.

Theresa meets up with Whitney and tells her how she was wrong about her dinner date. Whitney says she had a feeling something wasn't right when she called her about it. Whitney asks Theresa what Ethan said when he saw her all dressed up? Theresa tells her that he thought she was going out with the boy she loves. Whitney hopes this has convinced her to give up her dream, but Theresa says she know things will work out and she and Ethan will be together. Theresa tells her what happened tonight, about Gwen and Ethan telling her that her eyes were exquisite. Whitney doesn't want to see Theresa hurt and she asks her to forget about Ethan. Theresa says she can't. Luis runs into them and says he just saw Ethan and Gwen in a huge argument. Luis feels sorry for Gwen and he tells Theresa that she is lucky she didn't get involved with that jerk, or any other Cranes. Theresa learns where they were fighting, and she leaves to watch them. Luis heads back to the center, and Theresa spies on Ethan and Gwen. She is overjoyed to learn that Gwen is jealous of her, and she says that she and Ethan will be together for the rest of their lives.

Luis returns to the center after not being able to find a paper. Hank tells him not to worry, nothing big could have happened, this is Harmony. Luis says reading the paper is his one form of relaxation. Luis and Hank start talking about Sheridan. Luis wants to find a way for her to finish her hours quickly so he can get rid of her. Sheridan overhears them and they end up bickering about her accidents. Luis tells her that the sooner she finishes up here the better. Luis decides to go home, but tells Sheridan that he's going to give her doubletime for working after hours. Sheridan tells him that is so generous of him. Luis leaves, and Sheridan thanks Hank with a hug. On his way out, Luis turns around and sees Hank and Sheridan in one another's arms.

Whitney ditches Theresa when she wants to spy on Ethan and Gwen. Elsewhere, Kay, Simone, and Chad are walking around town. Simone asks how she can get Chad to notice her? Kay suggests she trip and fall into his arms, but Simone's not sure. Kay gives her a shove in the right direction, and Simone stumbles into Chad's arms. Chad asks her if she is okay? Simone says she is fine, she just didn't see the crack in the boardwalk. Suddenly, Whitney shows up and blames Chad for all of this. She accuses him of calling her sister and convincing her to lie to her and her parents in order to see him, but Simone says it was her and Kay's idea to go out. Whitney tells Simone to stop defending Chad, she is in big trouble! Chad tells Whitney to lay off Simone, what if he did call her? Whitney says that their parents have forbid her from seeing him. She says she covered for her last night, but she is telling her and Kay's parents this time. Simone and Kay beg her not to turn them in. Whitney agrees, but only if they go right home. Simone and Kay say goodbye to Chad and leave. Whitney then gives Chad a piece of her mind. She tells him to stay away her sister and the rest of her family, including her. Chad accuses her of enjoying bossing people around. Whitney says she doesn't know what he means, but he thinks she likes being the boss and telling people how to live their lives to keep her from looking at what is missing in her life. Whitney says nothing is missing from her life, she is happy. Chad just says "yeah, right, whatever you say." Chad walks off and Whitney keeps screaming that she is happy at him. Simone and Kay go home, and Kay says Whitney must pay for doing this to them. Kay tells Simone that Chad did stand up for her, she thinks he is interested in her.

October 27
At the mansion, Ivy asks Ethan about his romantic dinner with Gwen. Did he propose? Did they set a date? Ethan tells her to slow down, there was no proposal. Ethan says Gwen isn't speaking to him right now. Ivy doesn't understand. Ethan says he upset Gwen by calling her Theresa while they were dancing. Ivy asks him why on earth he did that? Julian walks into the room and says his son is a red blooded male, he's attracted to Theresa. Ivy thinks that idea is laughable and accuses Julian of being drunk. Ivy asks Ethan to please explain what is going on, why did he have Theresa on his mind? Ethan looks at his dad, and Ivy realizes Julian said something to Ethan before Gwen came over. She demands to know what he said. Julian says that he told Ethan he couldn't believe he hadn't noticed Theresa's eyes. Ivy smacks Julian and accuses him of trying to corrupt her son with his filthy mind! Julian says she is overreacting, and Ethan tells his mom that he and Gwen will work things out. Ethan leaves to call Gwen, and Ivy tells Julian that he has gone too far. Julian tells her that they should hope that Gwen makes Ethan happier than she has made him! They soon start talking about Crane men. Julian says nobody can tell a Crane man what to do behind closed doors, it is nobody's business as long as he maintains a respectable public image. He says if Ethan wants to bed Theresa then he has every right to, Gwen will just have to accept it. Ivy says their marriage is not the type of marriage Gwen and Ethan will have. Julian says they should leave that up to Gwen, she probably already accepts these rules. Ivy tells Julian that her son will never be the amoral yard dog he is. She asks her husband if he keeps track of the little Crane bastards out there. Julian says he is careful, as would Ethan be if he got Theresa pregnant. Ethan returns and hears this and tells his father "That's enough!" Ethan says Theresa is an innocent girl and has no idea what type of people live in this house, and he's beginning to wonder that himself. Ethan tells his father that he sounds like the worst kind of snob. Julian says he is Julian Crane, he is superior to 99.9% of the people on earth and he will not apologize for it! Ethan says being born into money is a privilege, not an excuse to be arrogant. Julian can't believe what a shielded life Ethan has lead, it is a wonder they know each other at all. Julian says that his being sent to boarding schools have done him an injustice, he does not know how a Crane conducts himself in life and in the business world. Julian tells Ethan that he will learn to accept his responsibilities as a Crane man when the time comes. He says that he must learn not to care about others, Theresa and her kind were put on this earth to serve them. Ethan tells his father that he is proud of who he is, and if they don't see eye to eye then so be it! Ethan leaves, and Julian tells Ivy that neither she nor Ethan can change the fact that Ethan is a Crane. Ivy says that doesn't meet he has to act like his father, but Julian says Ethan will come around when he learns what the perks are. He tells Ivy that Ethan is his boy, he's the only good thing she's given him. Julian leaves the room, and Ivy opens her locket, which contains a picture of Sam. She tells herself "If only things had been different."

At the Bennetts, Sam finds Kay banging on the bathroom door and ordering Jessica to get out so she can get in. Sam tells Kay that she, Jessica, and Charity will have to divvy up their bathroom time equally. Sam leaves, and Charity shows up. She thanks Kay for giving her the room, it is perfect. Kay tells Charity that she is not a morning person, and then she sees what Charity is wearing. She asks her where she got that outfit? Charity says Aunt Grace gave it to her. Jessica comes out of the bathroom and tells Kay that Charity is wearing the same outfit she tried to con their mom into buying her last week. Kay runs downstairs to complain to her mom for her buying Charity the outfit they couldn't afford for her. Grace says it was an emergency, she had to dip into the families special fund. This angers Kay even more because that fund was for buying her a used car for her next birthday. Grace tells her that she's just going to have to wait a little while longer for her car. Later, the family sits down for breakfast and they talk. Charity tells Kay that if she ever wants to borrow this outfit she can. Jessica ends up spilling milk on Kay, who accuses her of doing it on purpose. Kay runs out of the room, and Sam goes after her to have a talk. He tells her that he knows she is hurting, but they have to make sacrifices for Charity. Kay says all she's been doing is making sacrifices, when is it going to stop? Sam tells her to just hang in there, it will get easier. Kay tells herself that Charity has taken everything, so she can't let her have Miguel. Jessica and Charity get ready for school and leave. Kay tells Simone that she's going to have to find a way to keep Charity away from Miguel. Kay thinks she can persuade the school clerk to make sure Charity shares no classes with Miguel, and that she is given the toughest teachers. After the girls have left, Grace gets a call from Noah. He is doing well in school. Grace tells Sam that she's glad she could give him one boy, but she knows he probably wanted another. However, she couldn't have anymore after Jessica. Sam tells her that he has the perfect family.

TC and Whitney are training at the country club. Whitney is really aggressive, and TC asks her what is wrong? Whitney claims she is worried about the tension in their family, but TC thinks this is about a boy. Whitney says it isn't about a boy, she knows she can't date while training. TC says it will only be for a few more years, and the payoff will be worth it. TC has to leave for school, and Theresa shows up and asks Whitney if she is okay, she seems to be having an off-day. Whitney snaps at her and asks why she always has to be perfect? Theresa says she is perfect,a common which only angers Whitney even more. Whitney says she hates being the perfect little daughter. She is afraid of failing her family, she just wants to be plain old Whitney Russel. Whitney breaks down and tells Theresa how scared she is. Theresa asks her what is troubling her? Whitney says she has been worried about her dad and the gypsy's fortune. She is also worried about Chad and what he could do to her family. Theresa says she can't point fingers at Simone, she's done crazy things for Ethan. Still, Whitney thinks Chad and Ethan are two totally different people, Chad is dangerous. Theresa realizes that Whitney is afraid her dad might kill Chad. She tells her that nobody will kill anyone ever. Later after Whitney has left, Theresa finds Ethan practicing tennis at the country club, so she ask him why he's not practicing on his own courts? Ethan said he had to get out of the house. He then tells Theresa some news, he doesn't want her to work for his mother anymore.

Miguel shows up at the high school and meets up with Chad, who he called. Miguel tells Chad that there is a job opening in the athletic department, he might want to check it out. Chad thanks him for the info, but he rather do something in the music business. Miguel says the job is a great opportunity, he'll only have to take orders from Coach Russel. Chad realizes that the job is with Whitney and Simone's father. TC shows up and is surprised to see Chad here. Miguel says Chad may be interested in a job working as a music director for school events. Miguel leaves so they can talk. Chad thinks this won't work out, but TC says he hasn't given him the job yet. TC tells Chad that he'll have to learn to take orders, stick around, show up on time, and be dependable. Chad says that shouldn't be a problem. TC asks Chad if he can keep his temper in check and obey rules? Chad says he's never had an easy time with rules, he can't stand not getting credit for what he does. TC assures him he will get credit for the work he does for him. TC tells Chad that he knows he is alone and has no plans, so he suggests he take job and stay awhile. When TC says he should put his dreams on hold, Chad says he must have put his dreams on hold for a long while, unless he dreamt of becoming a high school athletic coach. Chad apologizes, but TC says he is right. TC says he had other dreams once, but dreams change. TC says he is happy where he is now, and offers Chad the job if he wants it. Chad asks why he is hiring him, there must be a million other guys he could hire. TC tells him that he reminds him of someone he once knew.

Jessica and Charity show up at school, and Jessica and Miguel introduce Charity to Reese. Reese tells Charity how lucky she is to be so close with Kay. Jessica and Miguel tell Reese that Kay likes him, he just has to be more forward with her. Reese says his dream is that one day he and Kay will have what Miguel and Charity had. He realizes he stuck his foot in his mouth and apologizes. Charity says it is okay, she knows she and Miguel were good friends. Reese laughs and tells her that they were inseparable. Once again, he apologizes for sticking his foot in his mouth. Meanwhile, Kay goes to the office to talk with the clerk and tells her that their family believe if she gets some tough classes, it will keep her mind off what she's lost. The clerk says she'll see what she can do. Kay gets Charity's class schedule, and she freaks when she sees that Charity is in every single one of Miguel's classes. Jessica butts in and tells her sister that she knew what she was up to all along, so she talked to the school clerk first! Jessica tells her sister to admit that she will never get Miguel. Simone tells Kay that her chances of getting Miguel are comparable to her getting Chad, which is zero. Simone heads off to class, and Miguel asks Kay if she'd go to the Halloween dance with him. Elsewhere, Whitney spots Chad and asks him what he's doing here? Chad tells her that he has a job here, he's working for her father!

This will be proofed a little later, got a paper to write
At Harmony High, Miguel asks Kay to go to the dance with him. Kay is shocked, but says yes. Miguel is asked by the school clerk to come into the office to talk, and he says he'll be right in. Miguel tells Kay that there is something else he wants to talk to her about later. Miguel leaves, and Kay tells Simone the news. Simone doesn't believe her, but Kay says it is true. When she brags about it to her sister, Jessica tells Kay that she must be smoking something. Miguel returns, and asks to talk to Kay in private. Jessica asks Miguel if he really asked Kay to the dance? Miguel says he did, and asks why? Jessica can't believe he asked her out instead of Charity. Miguel says he would have, but she is still scared of him. This way, Miguel says he figured that Kay would bring Charity, and they'd all have a good time. Kay is shocked, and Miguel says that's what he wanted to tell her before, he thought she knew. Kay says of course she knew it. Miguel thinks if Charity sees him with Kay, she'll learn to trust him and maybe they can dance. He then says he can see it now, when they are hanging out and Charity becomes comfortable with him, they can disappear. Miguel realizes that Kay is upset and thinks he knows why, all this talk about Charity has made her think about Reese. Miguel says he will help her and Reese get together, maybe they can even double date. Kay tells him "yeah." Kay is crushed that Miguel wants Charity, but she tells Simone that she is not going to give up on him. Kay says she will tell Charity about the dance . . . Charity shows up and Kay asks her if she's going to the dance? Charity says she doesn't know, she doesn't know if she's been to the dance, she doesn't even know if she knows how to dance. Charity says that Miguel says he taught her once, so she guesses he can show her again. Kay tells Charity that she doesn't have to worry, boys only go to these things to make out. Kay says some people kids even go all the way at these things. Charity doesn't think she wants to go to the dance, and then excuses herself to go to her next class. Simone tells Kay that she can't believe she told her that. Later, Kay tells Miguel that she tried to convince Charity to go, but she said no. Miguel says he doesn't think there is any reason for him to go, but Kay says if they go and have a good time then maybe it will make Charity more willing to go out with him. Elsewhere, Jessica asks Charity if she's going to the dance? Charity says no, she heard about all the wild things that kids do at the dance. Jessica realizes Kay has talked to her and assures her that Kay overdramatizes everything, these dances are chaperoned. Charity says maybe it will be fun. Miguel approaches Charity and asks her to reconsider going to the dance. Charity says maybe she will go, and asks Kay what she thinks. Kay tells Charity that she should go if she wants to, so Charity agrees to go. The bell rings, so they all go to class. After they have left, Kay tells Simone that this is all Jessica's fault! She says when this is all over, there will be only one person standing, and it's not going to be Charity.

Luis returns to the youth center and hears Hank ask Sheridan to the dance. Sheridan says she doesn't do Halloween. Gwen shows up and Sheridan sees how awful she looks. They have a talk about Ethan, Gwen thinks Ethan is in love with Theresa now. Sheridan asks her if she really believes that? Gwen tells her that he saw Theresa in Ethan's arms, and him staring into her eyes. Sheridan thinks the tripping excuse is a reasonable one. However, Gwen says there is more, Ethan called her Theresa while they were dancing. They go into the entire ballet thing, and Gwen is positive that there is more going on between Ethan and Theresa than he's willing to admit. Sheridan says the cause of their problems is not Theresa, it is Luis! Sheridan says that Ethan knew Luis would lose it if he knew Theresa was at the ballet with him, unfortunately he ended up looking guilty to her (Gwen) at Luis expense. Gwen thinks it makes sense, but she wishes Theresa wasn't so beautiful. Sheridan tells Gwen that she is beautiful, and she needs to go back to Ethan. Sheridan makes a call and learns that Ethan is at the country club, so Gwen should go to him and straighten this out. Gwen thinks she's right and thanks Sheridan. Meanwhile, Luis talks to Hank about Sheridan. Hank says Sheridan is a beautiful and interesting woman. Luis says that when she's not trying to kill him, she might be interesting. Hank tells Luis not to give him another lecture about Sheridan. He tells her that he has to admit, Sheridan is gorgeous. Luis admits that she is beautiful. However, Luis says beneath the surface, Sheridan is a Crane. He says there is no beauty in the Cranes, they care about no one but themselves. Hank tells him that he disagrees. Luis warns Hank that if he did marry Sheridan, he would be called Mr. Sheridan Crane, or worse, a kept man. Hank says with a smile that he could live with that. Luis says he is just glad his sister isn't messed up with that family. Luis says the Cranes have been involved in a lot of crimes which they have had covered up. Luis says there might even be a jack the ripper in that family, and then he begins ranting and raving about his dad's disappearance. He says the night before his dad disappeared, he overheard his dad on the phone with Alastair Crane. Later, Sheridan is taping some decorations and Luis helps her by holding the latter. She asks Luis what he thinks? Luis says it looks good, and if she chaperones the dance it will count towards her hours. She thanks him, and tells Hank that she'll accept his date offer if it still stands. Hanks says of course it does. When Sheridan leaves the room, Luis tries to convince Hank that Sheridan will just dump him, Hank tells Luis that he's way off base about Sheridan. SHeridan, who has suddenly shown up, thanks Hank for defending her and gives Luis an evil look.

At the country club, Theresa spots Ethan practicing. She says hello to him and asks why he's here? Ethan says he needed to get away from home for a bit. He then tells her that they have to talk about her job, he doesn't want her to work for his mother anymore. Theresa asks what he is saying? Ethan tells her that she no longer has a job. Theresa asks what she did? Ethan says he doesn't want to get into it, but it is for her own good that she doesn't come back. Theresa asks if she did something wrong? She says if she did she's sorry. Ethan says he is sorry for breaking it to her this way. She begs him not to throw her out, she'll make up for whatever she did wrong. Ethan tells her it is best for both of them that she leaves, he can't tell her why. He says that his mother is very appreciative of what she has done, but her job is over. Theresa says she is not accepting this, if she didn't do anything wrong than why is she firing him? Ethan says it is for her own good. Theresa asks if his mother doesn't want her back in the house? Ethan says no, he is the one who doesn't want her there. Theresa asks if this is because of Gwen? Ethan says no, and he doesn't want to go into it. Theresa thinks she has the right to know. Suddenly, Ethan's cell phone rings and he excuses himself to discuss business. Theresa ends up breaking into tears. Whitney shows up and tells her that she owes her an apology, her persistence with Ethan seems to have paid off. Theresa, who had her back to Whitney, turns around and tells Whitney that Ethan fired her and doesn't want her to go back to the mansion. She cries that her life is over. Whitney asks why he fired her? Theresa says she doesn't know why he fired her, he won't tell her. Whitney says it seems like neither of them are having a great day. Theresa asks Whitney what is wrong with her? Whitney says her dad hired Chad to work at the school. She fears that Chad will add to her parents stress. Whitney says that Ethan is coming back, and she asks Theresa what she's going to do? Theresa says she's going to do the only thing she can. Whitney excuses herself, and Ethan apologizes to Theresa for having to take care of business. Theresa tells Ethan that she is not leaving her job until she knows what she did wrong. Ethan says he didn't do anything wrong, he and his father had a heated discussion, but it is not her fault that he is telling her to go. Theresa asks whose fault it is, is this about Gwen seeing her fall and him catch her? Ethan says he explained it to Gwen, but she isn't the reason he is asking her to quit. Ethan says there are things about his family he doesn't like and doesn't want her to see. Theresa says she is a big girl and he doesn't have to worry about her, but Ethan says he does. Ethan tells her that he likes working with her and cares for her, that is why this is so hard. He tells her how special she is and how he cares her. He tells her that he'll make sure she gets another job, but Theresa says the money isn't what she loves about her job, it is the experience she is getting working with his mother. Ethan thinks about it, and says maybe his mom can find her a job with one of her friends. Theresa says she doesn't want to work for another family, she wants to work for the Cranes. Ethan doesn't understand what is so important about his family. Theresa tells him that all her dreams are right there in his house. Ethan doesn't understand what she means. Theresa says until she started working for his mother, she didn't know what type of life they lived, and working with Mrs. Crane has been an incredible experience. Theresa says she thinks she can have that type of life someday, but if she has to leave all her dreams will be just dreams. Ethan tells her that he never knew how strongly she felt about this. Theresa tells Ethan that she will not let anyone stand in the way of what she wants. Ethan tells her that she can keep her job. Theresa jumps in his arms to thank him right as a horrified Gwen shows up.

October 29
SOrry this is late, I went to a Halloween party last night that ran late
At the school, the school day ends and Charity tells Kay and Jessica that she is going to the Halloween party. Jessica is going to dress Charity up as a dancing girl. Miguel asks Kay what she is going to be? Kay says she doesn't know. Miguel is going as a pirate, and Reese is going as Zorro, though Kay calls him a big zero when he puts on his mask. SHe tells him he was joking, he'll make a good Zorro. Miguel excuses himself for a minute, and he tells Kay that he will try to make sure she gets her dream kiss from Reese. Miguel and Reese leave, and Kay comes up with a way to get Miguel tonight after all.

Timmy and Tabitha are listening to the Monster Mash as the dance around the house. Tabitha begins searching for a special book which she says is their key to a memorable All Hallows Eve, not just for them, but for everyone in town. She assures him that when she's finished with everyone, nothing in their pathetic lives will be the same again. As the Adam's Family theme plays, Tabitha and Timmy continue to look for her book. She sees Charity when she looks out her window and shakes her fist at her. Someone rings the doorbell, so Tabitha goes to answer her door. It is Kay coming to ask for help. She tells Tabitha that she wants the boy she likes to notice her at the costume party tonight. She says that she's seen the other girl's costume and it looks great, so she has to be even hotter. Tabitha puts an idea into Kay's head. She claims that this scenario reminds her of something that happened to her years ago. She claims that she was supposed to go to a Halloween party as sleeping beauty, but her nemesis stole her costume and then stole the heart of the boy she loved. Tabitha gives her a box with some stuff that may help her, and then she sends her on her way. After she is gone, Timmy finds Tabitha's book.

At the Bennett's place, Jessica and Charity are trying on their costumes. Charity is going as a belly dancer. Kay ends up spying at Charity's door and hears Charity tell Jessica that she is nervous about tonight and rather have people not recognize her. Jessica has to go help her mom at the shop, and Kay goes in to see Charity after Jessica leaves. She tells Charity that she looks great, everyone will be looking at her tonight. Kay says that all the boys will be after her tonight. Charity doesn't want that, so Kay suggests they switch costumes. Charity thinks Kay is so nice to do this for her. Kay gives Charity her costume, and she tries on Charity's. Kay tells herself that tonight she will finally get Miguel! Charity and Kay switch costumes, Charity is going as some horrid looking sea monster!

Whitney goes to see her dad at school and tells him that Chad is bad news. She turns around to find Chad standing in the doorway of her dad's office. Whitney apologizes to Chad, but he says she know she has no use for him. TC tells Whitney to wait in his office for him while he goes out to talk to Chad. When he returns, he tells Whitney that he doesn't know why she's so down on Chad. Whitney says that she shares mom's feelings that Simone shouldn't be involved with Chad. TC becomes upset and says Simone is far too young for a guy like Chad, and he asks if something is going on between Chad and Simone? Whitney says that she just meant she hopes Simone listens to mom about staying away from him. TC asks Whitney what is it about Chad that she doesn't like? Whitney thinks Chad can't be trusted, but TC asks her to give him a chance. She doesn't know if she can do that. He asks if there is something about Chad that he should know? Whitney says there isn't.

Out in the hallway, Simone runs into Chad. She's happy to learn that her dad hired him to work in the athletic department. He asks her what she is up to? Simone says she's trying to put a costume together for the Halloween dance. She invites him to come to the dance, she says he might be able to DJ the party. He decides to check out the idea and asks her to wait up a second, he has to put some equipment away. When Chad leaves, Simone tells herself that he took this job to be closer to her.

At the youth center, Luis apologizes to Sheridan for saying what he did, but Sheridan says he shouldn't be sorry because now she is at liberty to tell him about her feelings about him. Luis tells her to save it, he already knows she thinks he's stubborn. Sheridan tells him that he is also narrow minded! They begin to bicker about things that Luis says. Luis says that people like him and people like her come from two different worlds, they have different values. He says if she married some poor Tom, Dick, or Harry, people would accuse the man of being a jigalo, and the guy would never be respected. Hank jokes that he would have no problem with such an arrangement. Sheridan tells Luis that he's most the pathetic excuse for a public servant that she's ever seen. Luis tells her that she should know a lot about servants. SHe tells him that the wealthy people of this community have contributed to the hospitals and universities. Luis tells her that she forgot about the ballet. He says that the only time wealthy people do anything for the community it is to get their pictures in the paper or as a tax right off. Sheridan becomes furious with him and tells him that he thinks she is a cold hearted heiress who doesn't care about anyone but herself. Luis tells her that those are her words, not his. Sheridan says she feels sorry for him because life must be pretty boring when you think you know everything. She tells Hank that she better go if she's going to put a costume together. She asks Hank what he's going to wear? Hank says maybe he'll wear one of his dad's old police uniforms, police work is a tradition in his family.

At the tennis courts, Theresa is thrilled that Ethan says she can still work for his mother. She jumps into his arms and gives him a big hug. Meanwhile, Gwen shows up to apologize to Ethan for being a jealous ninny. Ethan sees Gwen, and pushes Theresa away from him. He tells her that she has to hide. Theresa hides behind a gate and listens to Gwen and Ethan's conversation. Gwen kisses him and tells him that she overreacted, she realizes that there is nothing going on between him and Theresa and there never could be. She asks if he could ever love her after she acted like a jealous school girl? Ethan says of course he can. Theresa is heartbroken when she hears them profess their love to one another. As Ethan and Gwen are walking away, Miguel cuts across the courts to get to his house and spots Theresa. He calls out her name, which Gwen hears. Gwen asks if Theresa is here? Theresa shakes her head at her brother. Gwen questions Miguel and asks if Theresa is here? Miguel says no, he's just looking for her. Ethan and Gwen leave, and Miguel scolds his sister. He tells her that she has to stay away from Ethan, and if she doesn't swear to him that she'll never see Ethan again, he'll tell Luis that she has been working at the Crane mansion. Theresa begs him not to do that, Luis will send her away. Miguel apologizes, but says that it is frustrating seeing her hurt herself like this. He asks her why she has to moon around over Richy Rich? Theresa says it is because she loves him, he of all people should understand. She says that he still loves Charity, even though she doesn't remember him. They run into Whitney, and Theresa tells them that she won't be going to the dance because there will be no one there for her. Whitney and Miguel eventually convince Theresa to go to the dance.

Sheridan runs into Ethan and Gwen at the mansion. Sheridan is busy searching for a costume for the dance. Gwen tells Ethan that she feels bad about acting how she did in front of Theresa, so she wants to find out who she likes and help him hook up with him. Ethan thinks Gwen is so sweet for wanting to help Theresa. Sheridan comes out of the bathroom to show them her costume, she's going as a mugger! She's dressed up in a black outfit including a ski mask!

Back at the youth center, Whitney and Chad show up to see Luis. Chad offers to DJ the dance for him, so Luis agrees to hire him. Later, Luis gets a call about the mugger from the station. Luis says he is on the job, and decides to go after the mugger, who has been spotted near the school.

Timmy and Tabitha go out into the woods where Tabitha was burned at the stake 300 years ago. We are treated to a flashback of Tabitha being burned by the pilgrims. Tabitha says tonight they will make good memories for them tonight, but not so good ones for the rest of Harmony! Tabitha prepares a bonfire, and Timmy warns her that this is probably in violation of Harmony's fire code. Tabitha sets the bonfire a blaze and calls to the demons. Timmy asks Tabitha what she is doing? Tabitha says she is about to release the children of the night and get her revenge!
