Luis shows up at the benefit in his uniform. Sam tells Luis that he wants him to walk around the benefit to discourage any thieves. When Luis sees a basketball he remembers his match with Sheridan. Later, Luis tells Sam that everything is fine, and TC says he heard Sheridan is working for him at the youth center. TC laughs about this situation, but Luis doesn't find it funny at all. Luis gets some pie and coffee and joins Sam and TC at their table. Luis complains about how Sheridan is trying to run things on her own. For example, Sheridan wants to start a woman's basketball team, but has nobody to coach them. Sam and TC suggest Sheridan Crane help him, and they laugh. Luis says Sheridan doesn't know how to play basketball, and she probably hasn't broken a sweat in her life. After Luis leaves, TC finds out that Eve is trying to sell his favorite jacket, so he decides to hide it. TC goes to Simone and complains how her mother was trying to sell his favorite jacket. He asks Simone to hide it someplace safe. TC leaves, and Simone thinks her dad's jacket would look so hot on Chad. She fantasizes about giving Chad the jacket, and thinks her dad will understand. Chad returns and sees Simone holding her dad's jacket. He likes it and tries it on, Simone thinks he looks perfect in it. Chad thinks it is probably expensive, but Simone says it is only five dollars. Chad can't believe that and decides to buy it. Simone held up the fifty dollar price tag, but marked off the zero. She leaves to get him a receipt, and TC and Sam confront Chad and want to know what he's doing with that jacket? Chad says he bought it for five dollars. TC knows he is lying, and Sam tells him to take off the jacket and just leave. Chad says he paid for this jacket and he's leaving with it! TC and Chad end up in a fight, but Sam breaks it up.
At the youth center, Robert Horry teaches Sheridan how to play basketball. Robert is impressed with Sheridan, who he says in a natural athlete. Sheridan says she did play lacrosse in boarding school, and she keeps in shape. Sheridan thanks Robert, who thanks her for the generous donation she made to the charity he sponsors. Robert can't believe she is going to so much trouble to impress a guy. Sheridan says it is to show the guy up, she is through with men. They continue to practice, and Robert suggests she challenge the guy to twenty one rather than one on one. Robert asks how big this guy is, how is he built? Sheridan remembers seeing Miguel naked in the shower, and says he's pretty muscular. Robert says she may be able to take him in a game of one on one.
Luis leaves the benefit to go back on patrol and is told that the lights are on at the youth center, so he may want to check it out. He arrives at the center and wonders who could be here at this time of night. Back inside, Sheridan tells Robert that she does want Luis to know about this coaching because she wants to take him by surprise. Suddenly, Luis bursts in with his gun drawn and wonders what is going on here.
At the hospital, Timmy is walking around in scrubs trying to find Charity. He sees the information desk and tries to think of a way to get there without being seen. Luckily the nurse at the desk leaves, so Timmy goes over to the desk and starts typing on the computer. The nurse catches him and calls him a bad boy, she asks how did he get out of the pediatric ward? She asks a male nurse to take him back to the ward. Timmy yells "no!" and bites his hand, and then runs off.
In Charity's room, Charity wakes up and sees Miguel. Every time Miguel says his name, Charity screams and tells him to get away from him. Tabitha, who is spying on them, is delighted at this turn of events. She overhears Kay say that her plan worked! A nurse comes in the room to ask what is wrong? Miguel says he's been trying to calm Charity down, but she keeps screaming. Kay suggests Miguel leave, he is obviously upsetting Charity. The nurse agrees, so Miguel and Jessica leave. Kay tells the nurse that she is Charity's cousin and best friend, can she talk with her? The nurse says okay, and leaves to call Dr Russell. Charity doesn't remember Kay, but says her voice is familiar. Kay is glad "it" worked. Charity asks what worked? Kay says nothing, she is here to help her. Kay tells Charity, who is holding Kay's hand, that they are best friends. A spying Tabitha exclaims "damn that girl is good!" Charity doesn't understand why she is so afraid of Miguel. Kay tells her to trust the voice in her head and she will be fine.
Outside, Miguel is glad Kay is helping Charity out, but he is confused why he seems to be upsetting Charity. Jessica wonders what Kay is up to now. Eve shows up and is filled in on Charity's condition. Eve decides to check on Charity, but asks Grace to stay out here so Charity doesn't think she is her mom. Eve goes in to see Charity, who is still with Kay. Charity says she is okay, she is just glad she has her cousin here. Eve thanks Kay for being so instrumental in reassuring Charity. Eve asks Kay to step outside so she can examine Charity. Kay leaves, and when she closes the door, Tabitha is hiding behind it! Tabitha says she was here visiting and steps outside so she can continue with the examination.
Outside, Jessica, Miguel, and Grace see Timmy run by, and Grace chuckles and says maybe he was Doogie Howser's little brother. Tabitha shows up and Grace thinks it is so sweet that she came to visit Charity. Grace remembers how she lost her memory in that horrible fire. Tabitha asks Grace is she remembers anything about that fire? Grace says she remembers feeling so lost and confused when she woke up after the fire and couldn't remember anything from her life before. Tabitha says that is such a shame, that fire could have killed her. Grace says they have Sam to thank for saving her life. Tabitha agrees that have so much to thank Sam for. The man Timmy bit asks Grace, Tabitha, and the others if they saw a kid run by in surgical scrubs? They say they saw him run by, and Tabitha realizes it was Timmy. She says she has to go, and leaves. As Grace tries to reassure Miguel Charity won't have amnesia for twenty years like she did, Jessica asks Kay what she did to Charity? Kay says that she is totally innocent and only wants the best for Charity. Eve comes out and says Charity is fine, but she doesn't remember the fire and doesn't seem to want to remember it. She also doesn't understand why Charity reacted the way she did to Miguel. Jessica says Kay does, and asks Kay to explain to everyone why Charity is acting this way. Grace asks why she would think that? Jessica says Kay was in there with Charity, but Kay says she doesn't know why Charity reacted the way she did. Grace wishes she could comfort Charity, but Eve tells her they need to give Charity time.
Timmy runs into the morgue to hide, and ends up hiding in a body drawer! Timmy wonders what is going on. Outside, a man brings a body in and leaves him. Timmy decides to leave once the man leaves the room, but he is locked in! Timmy turns on his flashlight, and discovers that he is not alone! Tabitha hears Timmy screaming from the morgue and rescues him. Timmy tells Tabitha how glad he is to see her because he didn't think he'd ever get out. Tabitha tells him that it is his own fault, she told him to stay at home! Timmy asks Tabby how Charity is? Tabitha says Charity doesn't remember anything, but they have to make sure to keep it that way. Timmy asks her if she has a plan? Tabitha says of course she does!
At the Lopez-Fitzgerald house, Theresa is up in her room daydreaming about Ethan. Whitney snaps her out of her daydream and tells her that Ethan is trouble for her. Theresa thinks she can handle this job, but Whitney tells her that she is just going to get hurt again. Theresa doesn't want to talk about this and changes the subject to what she is going to wear to work tomorrow. Whitney asks her what she was thinking of wearing? Theresa pulls out a little black skirt and halter top, and Whitney tells her that she cannot wear that to the Crane mansion! Whitney accuses Theresa of dressing so Ethan will notice her. Theresa then has a fantasy of Ethan seeing her in the outfit and realizes how beautiful she is. He tells her not to say anything and kisses her. Whitney's voice invades her fantasy and snaps her back to reality. Theresa says she is not trying to get Ethan to notice her, she wants to show her own personal style. Whitney tells her that is such a crock! Theresa says her walls are bare of Ethan's photos, but Whitney asks for how long? Theresa says she only took the photos down because she thought there was no chance for her and Ethan, but Whitney says the situation has not changed. However, Theresa thinks she can overcome the impossible. Whitney says this fantasy almost destroyed her family, but Theresa says it didn't. She tells Whitney that she is grateful for her help, so Whitney asks her to forget about Ethan and don't take the job. Theresa swears to Whitney that she is only going back to work so she can get fashion experience. Whitney says it is late and she has to get the benefit. Once Whitney leaves, Theresa looks at her society magazines about Ethan.
At the Crane mansion, Ivy is in her room and is playing with the locket around her neck. Pilar comes in to see her, so Ivy quickly puts the locket away. Ivy tells Pilar that she doesn't want another lecture about the dinner party. Pilar says she is troubled and has to tell her something for her own good. Ivy says she is listening. Pilar tells her that if she goes ahead with this plan to see Sam Bennett again she will cause a disaster which will affect the entire Crane family. Ivy says she is overreacting, they have been through this before. Pilar says Sam is part of her past which must be kept closed. Ivy says it is only dinner, but Pilar says she is tempting disaster if she brings Sam into this house. Suddenly, Ethan walks in and asks what Pilar is talking about? Ivy quickly covers and says that Pilar was telling her about a troublesome maid she fired awhile ago and was thinking of hiring again, but Pilar told her the girl was trouble. Ethan tells his mom to take Pilar's advice, she always knows what is best for this family. Ivy asks Ethan why he came up here? Ethan says he has some good news, Theresa is coming back to work here. Ivy is thrilled, but Pilar is not. Ivy has to excuse herself to take a call, and Pilar talks to Ethan about Theresa. Ethan thinks there is no reason why she can't still work here. Pilar says she is just surprised, but Ivy, who returns, says she is delighted and that Ethan couldn't have brought her better news, and asks Pilar "isn't that right?" The next time we see them, Pilar is gone and Ivy and Ethan are having hot chocolate. Ivy tells him that now that this stalker issue is over, he should work on getting engaged to Gwen. Ethan asks his mom why she is rushing this? Ivy asks him if he is not in love with Gwen? Ethan says of course he is, Gwen is his first love, just like father was hers. Ivy remembers her first love, and it was not Julian, it was Sam. Ivy tells Ethan that she just wants him to be happy. Ethan jokes that his mom must really want him out of the house. Ivy becomes extremely upset and tells him never to say that, not even in jest. She says every sacrifice she ever made, even sacrifices before he was born, were made for him! Ethan apologizes and asks what she meant by sacrifices? Ivy says she was exaggerating, she was just talking about things every mother does for their first born. Ethan says he is going to propose to Gwen, he just wants the occasion to be special. When Ethan says he hopes he will be as happy as she and father were when they first found each other, Ivy once again thinks of Sam.
Pilar goes home and talks with Theresa about her job. Theresa wanted to break the news to her mom. Pilar says she is not happy about this. Theresa says working for Mrs. Crane will allow her to get a start in the fashion world where she will make enough money to send Miguel to college and her mom can quit her job. Pilar says she doesn't mind working, but she thinks her going back to the Crane mansion is a mistake. Pilar tells Theresa she is too tired to argue with her, besides she knows she can't get through to her. Pilar warns Theresa that working for the Cranes is risky and those who get close to the Cranes get hurt sometimes. Pilar remembers many years ago when Sam came to the mansion demanding to see Ivy. Pilar says the Cranes can hurt someone so badly that it still hurts people after twenty years. Theresa doesn't understand what her mom is trying to say. Pilar tells her that Ivy Crane is playing a very dangerous game right now and she doesn't want her to get involved because she may get hurt. Theresa assures her mom that she won't get hurt. Theresa hears Luis come home, and decides to go back up to her room. She asks her mom not to tell Luis about her job. Pilar says she won't, and Theresa says good night. Luis comes in the door screaming about that woman. Pilar says she knows someone has gotten under his skin because he acts the same way his father did when he was irritated. Luis says he is nothing like his father, he does not runaway from his responsibilities. Pilar says his father did not run away. Luis knows that the Cranes had something to do with his father's disappearance because they bring nothing but trouble to anyone they come in contact with. Luis is shocked hen Pilar says maybe he is right. He says she never says anything bad about the Cranes and asks if something has happened? Pilar says that they are just like everyone else, they can't leave well enough alone. Meanwhile, up in her room, Theresa puts a picture of Ethan on her mirror and knows that they were meant to be together.

Chad says he doesn't know what went on between him and his daughter, but she sold him this jacket fair and square. Simone returns, and realizes she is in trouble. TC asks Simone to tell him that she did not sell his jacket. Simone looks at the floor, and TC asks her why? Simone says mom wanted to get rid of it anyways, and she wanted to raise money for the benefit. TC says if that is the case, why did she sell it for five dollars, is he a friend? She says she's never met him before, but he was cold and only had a t- shirt. She says he really needed this jacket, and besides it doesn't fit him anymore. Whitney sees that they are torn and says some jerk bumped into her and knocked her down. Whitney asks why she looks so goofy? Simone tells her about the guy she met and sold their dad's jacket to. Whitney realizes it is the same guy that just ran her over outside. Whitney tells Simone that this guy is all wrong for her, but Simone won't listen to her sister. Whitney says he probably is with another girl right now, but Simone refuses to believe that. Whitney doesn't understand how girls can become so obsessed with guys they don't even know. TC tells her that he doubts they will have problems with Simone, and he doubts they'll see that kid again. Simone and Kay eat some toast and say they have to run to school. TC reminds them that PE will be held at the youth center because the gym is being repainted. The phone rings and Eve answers, it is Miguel. He tells her that Charity is waking up again, but he doesn't want to be there when she wakes up just in case. Sheridan says she was going to come clean and apologize, but he doesn't deserve an apology! Sheridan says Luis has showed her there are just as many jerks in Harmony than there are in Paris, and she much prefers Paris. Luis tells her to go back there, and Sheridan says she will once she'd done working for him.

Charity breaks into tears, and Miguel rushes in to comfort her. He holds her as she cries on his shoulder. Kay watches and hopes Charity pulls away from Miguel. Simone asks Kay how cruel can she be, Charity just lost her mother and now she wants to take Miguel from her? Kay says she won't do it, Charity will! Miguel tells Charity that he wants to help her. Charity asks who he is? Miguel says "It's me, Miguel. You still don't remember me?" Charity says no and she has to stay away from him. She asks him to go. Eve tells Charity that Miguel is her friend and wants her to get well. Charity cries that she wants her mom, and Grace holds her. Eve tells Miguel that they should give Charity and Grace some time alone, so they leave. Miguel wonders what she did to scare Charity. Simone thinks Charity just isn't herself, and Eve says that Charity's reaction to him could be related to something completely unrelated to him. She assures him that they will learn why Charity is afraid of Miguel. Eve tells Simone that she is sorry for being hard on her about that boy, and makes Simone to promise to always confide in her no matter what. Simone says she knows she can talk to her. Eve tells Simone that she wishes she could have dinner at home with her family tonight, but she and the Bennetts have to go to the Crane mansion for dinner. Simone thinks that is very cool, and asks if she can have someone over tonight? Eve thinks she means Kay and says it is fine with her. Eve tells Simone once again that Chad is not the right boy for her, trust her. Eve leaves, and Kay asks Simone if she is going to listen to her mom? Simone says her mom doesn't know Chad. Grace asks Eve if she knows the Cranes, she talks about them like she doesn't like them. Eve brushes the question off and tells Grace that there is nothing they can do for Charity tonight. She suggests they discuss Charity's future after the dinner tonight at her place.
Upstairs, Theresa tells her mom that there is still time to keep Ethan from proposing to Gwen. Pilar tells her that Ethan will never marry her, but Theresa thinks her dream can still come true. Pilar tells her daughter that Ethan is going to marry Gwen. Theresa apologizes for upsetting her mom and says she won't let herself be hurt again. Pilar asks what all this nonsense about then? Theresa says all she needs is a chance, but Pilar tells her daughter what she needs is an operation on her head. Theresa keeps talking about how Ethan said she was beautiful, and maybe when they are alone again he will kiss her and maybe even tell her that he loves her. When Theresa says it is fate, Pilar says throwing herself at Ethan is not fate, it is tempting disaster! Theresa says it is meant to be, she belongs here. Pilar says Ethan's mother would never allow it, she is seen as nothing more than an assistant to the Cranes and the housekeepers daughter. Theresa refuses to believe that. Pilar tells her that she is dooming herself to a life of disappointment, rich men do not dream of marrying poor girls. However, Theresa says that all men dream of marrying a beautiful girl who loves them back. Theresa says she has nothing against Gwen, but she is not the right girl for Ethan. As long as Ethan hasn't put a ring on Gwen's finger, Theresa thinks she still has a chance.
Pilar and Theresa go downstairs and walk in on Ethan and Ivy's conversation. Pilar says they can come back, but Ivy asks them to wait. She tells them the most wonderful news, Ethan is engaged to Gwen. Theresa gasps "Oh my God!" Pilar says that Theresa is just as surprised as she is. Pilar asks Ethan to give Ms. Hotchkiss their good wishes, but Ethan says he hasn't popped the question yet. Theresa's face lights up when she hears this. Ivy tells them that Ethan is looking for the perfect ring for Gwen. Ethan says it is a surprise, and asks them not to tell her. Ivy says she is just thrilled that her first child is going to marry who she always wanted him to. Ivy tells Theresa that she'll probably be announcing her own engagement soon. Pilar says she thinks not, Theresa doesn't even have a boyfriend. Ivy asks why not, she is such a pretty girl? Ivy tells her that she needs to set her sites on a boy she wants and not let anyone get in her way of having him. Theresa thanks Mrs. Crane and says she will remember that. Theresa asks Ethan why he decided to propose to Gwen? Ethan tells her it is because of her plans for her own wedding, it convinced him to propose to Gwen. Ivy thanks Theresa for getting Ethan to do what she has been trying to get him to do forever. Ivy tells Theresa that she owes her a favor. She then asks Ethan if he plans to propose to Gwen at the theater tonight? Ethan says no, Gwen has other plans, so he's going to stay home and watch the play-offs. Ivy becomes upset and Ethan asks his mom if she is trying to get rid of him? Ivy says of course not, she's just having some friends over. Besides, Ivy says this theater commitment is for a benefit that they support, so a Crane must be in attendance. Ethan isn't crazy about the ballet, so Theresa tells Ethan that she read all about this ballet company, they are supposed to be wonderful. Ethan says he has no one to go with. Ivy tells him yes he does, he can take Theresa! Pilar says that is out of the question, Theresa doesn't have the proper dress for the evening and she would be out of place. Theresa thinks she can put something together, but Ivy says Pilar is right. Ethan says he will make it up to her another night, but Ivy says he is still going with Theresa. Ivy tells him that Theresa is about the same size as one of his sisters, so she can wear one of her evening dresses. Pilar doesn't like this at all, but Theresa begs her mom to let her go see. Ethan asks his mom what ballet they are seeing? Ivy says it is Cinderella. Theresa thinks that it is an omen, but Pilar says it is a fairy tale. Ivy and Theresa go upstairs to pick out an evening dress.
At the hospital, Chad returns to ask Simone what time he's supposed to show up for dinner tonight. Kay shoves Simone, who introduces Chad to Kay. Chad asks Simone if his old man will be at this dinner tonight? Simone says no, her parents will be gone tonight. She also tells him that her dad has some old diaries and books on Harmony's history he might be interested in looking at. Chad asks Simone what time he should come over? Simone says six o'clock, but Kay tells him to make it six-thirty. Chad leaves and Simone says she must be crazy. Kay says she is, just like she is crazy for Miguel. Kay says she plans to make the most of this night with Miguel. Miguel returns and tells Kay that he might have to cancel dinner to stay and protect Charity from the dark forces her mom was always talking about. Kay can't believe he is buying into Mrs. Standishes flaky beliefs, and says if he's that worried he can check on Charity every hour via phone. Miguel still doesn't know if he should leave, but Simone and Kay convince him to come. Later, Kay tells Miguel that they should get going, and that she arranged for the nurse to call them if Charity wakes up. Simone goes home to make dinner, and follows Kay's advice about using strawberries and chocolate because they are aphrodisiacs.
In Charity's room, Eve tells Grace that after Ivy's dinner they can talk about Charity's future. Grace says her niece has lost so much, and she's going to make sure she doesn't lose anything else. They soon start talking about Simone, Eve tells Grace that she caught Simone hanging out with the street kid she told her not to hang out with. Grace tells Eve that Simone is getting to be that age. Grace says she just wishes she had more time with Faith to find out how she was when she was younger, but maybe Charity will give her a clue. Eve says it is possible because they are just finding out that much of human behavior is genetic. She talks about what a great daughter Whitney is and says she is just like her father, but Simone confuses her and she fears she can't reach Simone at times. Grace tells Eve that she'll have to trust that she instilled the right values into Simone. Grace tells her that her girls are just like her, and she obviously gave her parents no trouble. From the look on Eve's face, we can see that is not true. Grace says Eve never talks about her life before they met. Eve says maybe they can talk when they have some free time. Eve and Grace decide to leave to get ready for the party. Eve wonders what Ivy Crane wants from them. Grace doesn't think she wants anything they have, Ivy already has everything she needs. Grace says goodnight to Charity, and then leaves.
Whitney goes to the Book Cafe for some coffee and almost spills it on her pants. Whitney tells Beth all about the guy who ruined her pants last night, and how her sister thinks he's the hottest man on earth. Later, Chad shows up for some coffee and a pastry, but he doesn't have the money to pay for it. He says he'll come back in a bit, but Beth tells him that it is on the house. Chad refuses because he wants to pay his own way. Beth offers him twenty bucks if he works for her for the day. Chad tells her that they have a deal. Chad puts on some new music, and then gets to work seeing if anyone needs refills. He of course bumps into Whitney, who is busy reading a book about tennis. He tells Whitney that tennis is a white folks game. An insulted Whitney tells him that tennis is not a white folks game, and she tells him the names of many African-American tennis stars. CHad tells her that he's got the picture. Whitney tells him that tennis is the most important thing in the world to her and one day her name will be on this list. Chad tells her "Whatever floats your boat." Whitney tells him to go pour some coffee for people, he obviously wouldn't know a lifetime goal if he fell over one. Chad thinks of his record career, and Whitney tells him "On second thought, I'd like that refill." Chad pours her another cup of coffee and asks her what she thinks of the song currently playing? Whitney says she doesn't know, she guesses there is something about it. Chad can't believe that's all she has to say, he worked his butt off mixing it. Whitney doesn't believe Chad, and says she believe him when she sees his name on the CD jacket. Chad says his boss wouldn't give him the credit, so he gave it to his boss. Whitney can't believe he would do that and hopes he is lying. Chad says he's not, and he'd do it again in a minute. Chad finishes his shift and Beth tells him that he has a job anytime he wants. Whitney realizes who Chad is and lets him have it for ruining her best pair of pants. She demands that he pay up.
At Tabitha's place, Tabitha is trying to use her scrying bowl, but it won't work. Meanwhile, Timmy is chillin on the couch trying to thaw out after being in the cold box at the hospital morgue. Tabitha wishes she had her powers back so she could take care of Charity. Timmy says if Charity doesn't remember anything, she's no longer a threat. Tabitha calls Timmy a foolish boy and tells him that as long as Charity is alive she is a threat. Timmy wishes his princess would forget about killing Charity and just enjoy a nice cozy life with him. Tabitha tells Timmy that Charity is their mortal enemy. Timmy says she seems so innocent, but Tabitha says Charity will come into her powers, and once her memory returns she will come after her for killing her mother. Tabitha's heart swoons and she says "Don't even say his name Timmy, now that's a man! What I wouldn't give to run into him in a dark vortex." Tabitha says she needs to get down to business and think of a way to finish off Charity. When Timmy asks if the Bennetts will ever have a funeral for Charity's mother, Tabitha gets an inspiration. She runs to her chest and begins fishing through all the various fabrics and costumes she has in it. Later, Tabitha goes to work at her sewing machine. Timmy thinks she is making curtains, and Tabitha laughs and says it will be curtains for Charity when she's through with her. Timmy decides to make a MarTimmy, but says that the lemons are in the kitchen and he doesn't know where fluffy is. Tabitha tells Timmy that Fluffy won't hurt him unless he provokes her. Timmy goes to the kitchen, and is mauled by Fluffy. Tabitha just listens to them fight and cackles. Later, Timmy returns with a MarTimmy and wonders how he can show Fluffy who is boss. He looks in Tabitha's chest and finds a dumbbell. He then has a fantasy of working out and becoming Timmy the Terrible. Timmy, who has a buffed bod challenges Fluffy to a boxing match. Back in reality, Timmy does a few weight lifts and decides he's exercised enough. He sits down to enjoy his MarTimmy and hears Tabitha announce her latest disguise. She appears in a habit and says she is Sister Mary Moses. Timmy tells her that there is something missing from her disguise. Tabitha says nothing is missing, but Timmy says nun's usually wear crosses around their neck. Tabitha asks him if he is out of his tiny little mind, she doesn't do crosses! Tabitha gets ready to leave for the hospital and tells Timmy not to follow her this time. Timmy says he worries when she leaves him alone. Tabitha tells him that he won't have time to worry, he has to dig a grave for Charity.
