At Crane Industries, everyone continues worrying about Ethan, Whitney, and even Julian. Ivy continues to cry on Sam�s shoulder about Ethan, which leaves Grace with David! Luis is forced to watch Sheridan worry about Ethan with Antonio clinging to her side. TC says they have to do something, and Theresa asks why someone can�t go down? Sam says it is not safe. Theresa sees a swinging cable, runs, jumps, and grabs the cable to climb down. EMT Hank shows up, and Theresa screams for her life as she hangs onto the cable. The grease on the cable causes Theresa to begin to slip, and Antonio wants to go after her but Sam say no way! Sheridan also says it is too dangerous. Theresa falls to the top of the elevator, but she is fine. She manages to get to Ethan, and the watchers all say the elevator is way too unstable. Meanwhile, Grace talks to Sheridan about how she just sounded more concerned about Antonio going down there than Luis. Sheridan says Antonio is not trained like Luis, but Grace says she saw the look on her face when she thought Antonio was about to risk his life. Grace tells Sheridan to think long and hard about whom she really loves, because Luis also saw her reaction and is going to want an answer. Elsewhere, Ivy threatens Grace into keeping quiet about her and David�s little bargain, and the truth about Grave and David, or she will make sure TC is a hell of a lot angrier than he is right now! The rest of the rescue team show up to try and help save those trapped in and on the elevator.
In the elevator, Julian and Whitney continue to bond. As the elevator sways and rocks, Whitney and Julian hold one another! When glass begins to rain on them, Julian shields Whitney and takes a large piece in his shoulder. Up top, Theresa checks on Ethan, and sees he is still alive, and she tells Whitney that she is here. Sam directs Theresa to move Ethan and steadily as she can, because basically if the elevator falls again with Ethan in the position he is in, a beam will decapitate him! Theresa saves Ethan, but another problem emerges. The floor in the elevator begins to give out, and the walls begin to split apart! Whitney ends up stepping on a weak spot, and falls through! She ends up clinging to the railing in the elevator for her life! Julian asks Whitney to trust him and take his hand. She slips, and Julian manages to grab her. Julian saves her.
Back outside the shaft, Sam tells David and Chad that there is another possible solution, in the basement is a manual break, but pulling and holding it long enough could kill the person if the shaft collapses above them! Chad and David both offer to do it, but Sam says no way. Meanwhile, the rescuers get the intercom for the elevator working, and hear Whitney screaming. TC wonders what Julian is doing to his baby. Antonio and Luis end up lowering a chain down to Theresa and ask her to attach it to the elevator and the support beams. She gets it, and attaches it as best as she can. Ethan remains unconscious, and Theresa tells him how much she loves him. Unfortunately, the chain ends up breaking, sending the elevator plummeting!
Meanwhile, Sam realizes David is missing. He�s gone to find the emergency break for the elevator, and Grace trails him to help him! David tells Grace if anything happens to take care of John for him. Grace says of course, and as they talk, Sam and Ivy shows up. Grace tells David that she doesn�t remember their life together, but she knows from the vision that they were happy and in love. Things begin to crumble, and Grace tells David that he can�t stay here because even though she loves Sam, she loves him two. Sam is stunned, and Ivy is pleased as punch. Sam tells David he thought he told him not to come down here and do this, but David says he made a choice. Sam is called back upstairs, and Grace announces that she is staying with David in case he needs anything! When the elevator plummets, David ends up pulling the break, risking his own life!
At the hospital, Miguel proposes to Charity, who accepts. Kay bursts in and asks what is going on? Charity says she and Miguel are to be married, and she asks Kay to be her maid of honor! Miguel wants to be married ASAP, so Charity suggests a December wedding. Kay pulls Miguel outside and tries to convince him that he can�t do this, but Miguel says she has herself to thank for it. He says if she hadn�t told him that his and Charity�s love couldn�t� survive, he wouldn�t have proposed to prove her wrong. He thanks her, but she tells him that he is not welcomed! Meanwhile, Tabitha shows up and rushes into Charity�s room. Tabitha apologizes for not coming to see her earlier, and Charity says she knows why. Charity knows it is because of Timmy, and she thanks Tabitha and Timmy for the gift of life. She then pulls Tabitha down to her chest so she can hear her heart beating. Tabitha realizes Timmy lives on in Charity.
At Crane Industries, Original Gwen shows up after hearing the news on her car radio. Sheridan fills her in, and much to Luis� dismay, Sheridan continues to dote on Antonio anytime something happens to him. Suddenly, the chain holding up the elevator breaks, and it goes plummeting. David pulls the break and successfully stops it. Everyone rushes to the basement and finds Grace tending to a hurt David. She insists on staying with him and taking care of his bleeding and broken hand as everyone else sees to the elevator. David thanks Grace and tells her that he loves her, and the two share a peck of a kiss. Meanwhile, Theresa and Ethan are pulled out of the elevator, Theresa is okay, but Ethan is not. She professes her love to him and says he cannot die, all as Gwen watches. Ethan is put on a stretcher to be taken to the hospital, and Theresa and Gwen insist on going. Theresa tells Gwen that it is not her place to be by Ethan�s side, as he has chosen her. Gwen thinks Theresa is nuts, so Theresa pulls out the engagement ring and says Ethan bought this for her! Meanwhile, The others rescue Whitney and Julian, but unfortunately find Julian on top of Whitney, he was shielding her. Unfortunately, TC thinks Julian is doing something else, so he grabs him and begins beating him to a pulp!
At Crane Industries, Grace bandages David�s hand. He tells her that he loves her, and the two share a kiss. Meanwhile, Sam decides to find Grace, and ends up in an argument with Ivy. Ivy says Grace is in love with another man, but Sam says she just cares about him and she will realize she doesn�t really love him. Ivy says Grace kicked her out of their bed, and no woman would do that to a man she really loves unless she has a replacement! Sam tells Ivy that she did the same thing to him, but she says it was different and he is her true love. Sam says he knows she probably does love him, but he moved on years ago and has to work things out with his wife. Sam leaves, and Ivy follows him. Back down in the basement, David continues telling Grace that he loves her. She wishes he caught hate her for moving on, but he says he never got over her and he never gave up on them. Sam ends up walking in on Grace and David in an emotional hug. Ivy ends up taking Sam�s hand to comfort him!
Meanwhile, Theresa tells Gwen that Ethan has chosen her, and that is why he bought her an engagement ring! Gwen says Ethan wouldn�t have, but Theresa says he bought it at the same shop he bought her first ring. Theresa says she wins, so she is going to the hospital with her fianc�! Elsewhere, Sheridan dotes over Antonio�s injuries and well being. He insists she is fine, and says she is the only cure he needs. Antonio pulls her into a kiss, which Luis witnesses. Later, Sheridan asks Gwen why she isn�t going to the hospital with Ethan? Gwen says Theresa claims Ethan gave her a ring, and she refuses to keep hanging onto Ethan. Sheridan says she doesn�t know what is going on, but she shouldn�t give up and stay as close to Ethan as possible until he tells her himself that he wants to marry Theresa. Gwen leaves, and Antonio demands he and Sheridan go back to the inn and get married. Luis buts in and says there is no way that is going to happen, and Sheridan buts in and says Luis is right, it has been a long and exhausting day and they need to rest. Antonio agrees, but says this isn�t the way their day was supposed to end. Luis says he�ll drive them home, so they leave. Once home, Sheridan tries to get Luis to stay by saying she will make some tea. Antonio goes to take a shower, and Luis tells Sheridan that he can�t stand this anymore! Antonio calls for Sheridan, and she goes to him! Antonio wants to make love to Sheridan, and tells her to take her clothes off and get in with him. He begins to tickle her, and Luis loses it when he hears them laughing. Sheridan returns to Luis, who is on his way out the door. Luis is furious and tells Sheridan that it is obvious who she has chosen, and that it is over between them!
Meanwhile, TC beats Julian to a pulp as Whitney lays unconscious. Eve begs TC to stop this, and Whitney finally comes too. She sees her dad beating up Julian, and she says this is wrong! Whitney tells her dad that he is wrong, Julian saved her and was shielding her from the falling glass and debris! Julian is in bad shape, and Eve works on him. He is alive, but his pulse is weak. Julian is taken to the hospital.
Ethan and Jullian arrive at the hospital, and Eve checks on Ethan first when Theresa insists. Ethan finally comes too, and he seems to be fine. Eve leaves to find Julian and check on him, and Ethan once again thanks Theresa for saving his life. Theresa says God gave her the strength to save him so they could spend their lives together. She tells him that she loves him so much, but owes him an apology for spoiling the surprise. She says she found the ring, and asks if he minds if she puts it on? She does so, just as Gwen shows up. Ethan tells Theresa that he has to tell her something, and it won�t be easy. Gwen hears Ethan tell Theresa that he bought the ring for Gwen! Meanwhile, Eve tends to Julian, who will be fine. Whitney says Julian was a different man in that elevator, perhaps he has really changed? TC refuses to believe he has changed. She said Julian was almost fatherly, and she says they talked about love and he told her a sad story about the first woman he loved and how his father made him give her up. Eve is touched, but also worried as she listens to Whitney talk about her and Julian! Eve ends up taking Julian�s hand, and he takes hers as he comes to!
Elsewhere, Gwen overhears Ethan tell Theresa that he bought the ring for Gwen, not for her, and that he intends to ask Gwen to marry him. Theresa is devastated by Ethan�s choice, and says he can�t marry Gwen! Ethan says he can�t trust her, and without trust, they have nothing. Theresa reminds Ethan of everything she has done for him, but he says he still can�t trust her. Theresa says she will never lie to him again, but Ethan says she made those promises before, and they have nothing left to talk about. He tells her that she is just embarrassing herself, but Theresa says if he would just admit that they have an incredible love everything would work out. Ethan still says without trust they have nothing, and he tells her that she is the one who ruined everything. Ethan demands Theresa give him the ring, which she does. Suddenly, a nurse comes in and tells Theresa to please leave because Ethan has become severely agitated. Theresa leaves, and is confronted by Gwen. Gwen tells Theresa that is that, the battle is over and she has won! Gwen says Ethan is hers now. Gwen hopes Theresa has finally learned her lesson and will leave her and Ethan alone. Gwen says Ethan will propose to her, and she will accept it. Gwen says this time they will be married as soon as possible, and once Ethan is married, he will stay married forever. Gwen says she almost feels sorry for Theresa, and then she heads in to see Ethan.
At Beth�s place, Mrs. Wallace continues to torment her daughter about how Luis and Sheridan will end up together, and she will spend the rest of her life a singleton! Beth tells her mom that she is wrong, she will have Luis and she will make him forget all about Sheridan.
At the cottage, Luis tells Sheridan that he�s going to let her get back to her life with Antonio, because it is obvious that in her heart she has chosen Antonio. She asks where this has come from? Luis says when he and Antonio were both ready to risk their lives to save Theresa, Antonio was the one she worried about. He tells her that whether she has realized it or not, in her heart, she has chosen Antonio. Sheridan says she was just concerned about Antonio because he is not a trained professional, and with his condition he could have caused more harm than good! Still, Luis says she still loves Antonio, and she needs to face that. Luis tells Sheridan that this isn�t her fault, and he should have seen the truth along time ago. He tells her that he is tired of fighting a loosing battle, and he loves her so much that he wants her to be happy, so he is going to let her be with Antonio. Sheridan tells Luis that she loves him, but Luis thinks she is just denying her true feelings. Luis asks Sheridan to just save him a dance at the wedding. Sheridan tells Luis to stop talking this way, but Luis says he sees the way she looks at Antonio, she sees his concern for him, he sees she is sacrificing everything for his happiness, and that is love. Luis phone rings, and it is Beth asking if he can drop by and fix some pipes for her. He says he�ll be right over. Antonio comes out of the shower, and Luis tells Antonio that he was just telling Sheridan to save a dance for him at their wedding. Luis leaves for Beth�s house, and Antonio goes to get dressed. Sheridan is left in tears. Later, Antonio tells Sheridan about the place he wants to take her for her honeymoon, and he tells her how lucky he feels that she has forsaken every other man for him. Suddenly, Sheridan bursts out �This is all wrong, she can�t do this, she�s going to lose the man she loves!� Antonio asks her what is wrong? Sheridan says she can�t do this anymore, she can�t lie to him anymore!
Back at Beth�s place, Beth breaks her pipes so Luis will have something to fix when he gets here. Beth�s mother yells at her, and Beth says she will do whatever it takes to get Luis back, even if it means making a deal with the dark side! Luis arrives to fix Beth�s sink, and as he works, she gets him a beer. However, sneaky Beth drugs Luis drink so she can take advantage of him! Luis shirt got dirty while fixing the sink, so Beth says she�ll wash it for him and promptly removes it. Meanwhile, Mrs. Wallace watches and refuses to let her daughter do this.
