Julian meets with his lawyer about the annulment, but there are problems. The process is more difficult because he was married in another country. Julian doesn't care how difficult it is, he needs to get his marriage to Theresa annulled so he can marry Rebecca. As they talk, they overhear Rebecca and Ivy's fight, and go to investigate.
Julian is shocked to see Ivy and says "Are you still alive?" Ivy says she is, and breathing fire! Ivy says she remembers him fiddling with her IV and heard what he said! Julian claims she must still be under the influence of medication, and informs her that she is no longer his wife and not welcomed here! Ivy refuses to accept his island divorce, so Julian asks his lawyer to tell her that it is legal. Julian then pushes Ivy's wheelchair down the sidewalk. Eve chases after her, and Rebecca tells Julian that he was magnificent. Later, Rebecca tells Julian she is so upset over Ivy trying to force her way in here. Julian says it is all over now, they have finally gotten rid of her. However, Rebecca says it would have been amusing if Ivy did get in here and see all the redecorating she's done. Suddenly, Ivy bursts through the patio doors and says they won't get rid of her that easily! Suddenly, Ivy looks around and sees Rebecca's tacky furniture, and screams. Ivy thinks it looks like Liberace's home, and she refuses to leave. Eve says this stress is not good for her patient. Rebecca says good, maybe she will die! Ivy tells her not a chance, she will be around for a while! Ivy decides to go to her room to take a nap, but Rebecca says she'll see about that! Ivy and Rebecca continue arguing about whether Ivy has any right to be in the mansion. Ivy ends up tearing up the divorce papers and exclaims that she is still Mrs. Julian Crane! Meanwhile, Eve blackmails Julian in an attempt to get him to let Ivy stay here. Julian says he's sick of worrying about what Luis and Ethan may do to him if they learn about him and Theresa, and he tells Eve to go ahead and tell them!
At the Lopez-Fitzgerald house, Theresa catches her mom destroying her wedding dress. As she comforts her mom, Ethan walks in and asks what happened? Pilar says she is sorry. Ethan tells Pilar whatever has her worried she can talk to him about it. Theresa says she understands what has her mom upset, Sheridan and Ivy being hurt so badly so close together. Pilar says that when she came in her to tidy up, she saw the dress and it made her think of Sheridan who was supposed to be married with them, and she just reacted violently. Pilar decides to make herself some tea, and leaves. Ethan realizes Pilar is really upset, and hopes she is telling them everything. Later, Ethan tells Theresa not to worry about the dress, it doesn't matter what she wears as long as they are married, Theresa tells Ethan that maybe they should wait to get married to give Luis time to get over losing Sheridan. However, Ethan says Luis wants them to get married. Ethan asks Theresa if there is something else that has happened that she is not telling him? Ethan tells Theresa that she can tell him anything, and there is nothing he wouldn't forgive her for. Theresa says she is just worried about her family and how they are hurting. Ethan says that is why he thinks they should get married, it is just what everyone needs to move on.
Later, Father Lonigan stops by and talks with Pilar. Pilar ends up blurting out that she will never forgive the Cranes for what they did to her sweet little girl. Father Lonigan is confused and asks what has happened? Pilar tells him that Julian Crane stole Theresa's virginity! Father Lonigan asks how this happened, so Pilar tells him the story. Pilar then damns Julian for what he's done! Later, Ethan and Theresa show up, and Ethan is glad to see Father Lonigan. He asks him to marry him and Theresa, but Father Lonigan says that would be impossible!
At the Lobster Shack, Luis is shocked to learn that Hank has set him up on a date with Beth. Luis tells Beth that he thought he was just meeting Hank for dinner, but it is okay. Luis meets Hank and his date Lisa, and Hank says that he invited Beth, as a friend, to join them. Hank tells Luis that he thought it would be better for him to be out with friends then home alone mourning. Hank tells Luis that he is worried about her, and holding out hope that Sheridan may come back. Luis says he knows Sheridan is gone. Luis says he is leaving, and asks Hank to tell Beth that something came up. Luis leaves, and thinks he sees Sheridan standing outside waiting for him. However, when he goes to her, she vanishes. Beth comes out and asks Luis if he is okay? Luis says he just can't do this tonight. Beth tells Luis that she only wants what is best for him, and she is only here as a friend. Beth says if this was about trying to take Sheridan's place, she would have told Hank no. Beth tells Luis that it is true she never stopped loving him, but she knows he loves Sheridan and how happy she made him. Beth tells Luis that she and Sheridan became friends, and had long talks. Luis is shocked, and asks Beth to tell him what they talked about. Beth tells Luis she'd like that, they can talk and mourn Sheridan together, she is here for him.
On the island, Brian and Sheridan/Diana are on a picnic, and Sheridan is starved. As she is unwrapping food,"Diana" finds the old newspaper with the headline that Sheridan Crane had been put to rest. The name sounds familiar to "Diana." "Diana" reads the story, and it moves her. "Diana" begins to wonder if SHE could be Sheridan Crane. Brain tells "Diana" that they thought she might be Sheridan, but later learned that Sheridan's body was found, she was dead. He tells her that there is no way she could be Sheridan Crane, she must be someone else. "Diana" worried that nobody is looking for her, but Brian says there must be someone out there looking for her, family, a boyfriend. "Diana" hopes so, she feels so empty and would hate to know that nobody cares for her. "Diana" asks Brian to help her find out who she is, and where she belongs. He agrees to help her.
At the mansion, Ivy and Rebecca continue to argue. Ivy refuses to leave the mansion or accept the divorce! Meanwhile, Eve continues to blackmail Julian. She tells him that if he doesn't let Ivy stay here, she will tell everyone about his marriage to Theresa. Julian threatens to tell TC about their affair, so Eve tells him to go ahead, TC will only kill him!
At the Lopez-Fitzgerald house, Father Lonigan tells Ethan and Theresa that he cannot marry them! Ethan asks why not? Theresa says Father Lonigan is probably very busy right now. Father Lonigan says yes, and besides there is paper work they need to fill out. Ethan says that is no problem, he has a marriage application on him! Ethan has even filled it out, and all they need to do is sign it! Theresa hesitates to sign, which makes Ethan wonder what is going on. Suddenly the phone rings, saving Theresa. It is the mansion calling for Ethan, they are worried because Ivy and Rebecca are attempting to kill one another!
Back at the mansion, Ethan arrives and is horrified to learn that Julian is trying to throw Ivy out. He assures his mother, as her attorney, that Julian can't throw her out because no court would allow a women in her condition to be thrown out of a house that has been hers for the past twenty years. Julian's attorney tells Julian that is true. Julian also realize it would look bad if he through a cripple out on the street, which angers Rebecca. Ethan also says he will fight the divorce, and plans to call Bermuda in the morning. Theresa is frightened because Ethan may learn about her marriage to Julian if he calls Bermuda. Eve tells Theresa not if Julian can get it annulled before tomorrow!
At the Lobster Shack, Luis continues to see Sheridan around him, which worries Hank and Beth. They realize it will take Luis some time to get over Sheridan. Meanwhile, in the islands, "Diana" talks with Liz and Doc about how she thought she might be Sheridan Crane, but Brian told her that would be impossible. She says Brian is also going to help her find out who she is. Later, she gets a craving for hot chocolate, so Brian decides to make her some. Later, "Diana" wonders who she is, and if anyone out there is looking for her.
Rebecca moves into the mansion. She argues with Pilar, who she wants fired, but Ivy won't let her be. Rebecca also complains about Ivy being allowed to stay there. As she moves in, she brings with her a gun, shocking Gwen and Pilar. Rebecca jokes about shooting Ivy, which Pilar doesn't appreciate. She does, however tell Rebecca that she can shoot Julian! Later, Rebecca tells Gwen she is going to make Julian marry her, even if she has to have a shot-gun wedding! She then decides to redecorate, says she has always hated that vase of Ivy's, and takes aim!
Julian wants the annulment done now and his divorce to Ivy settled at once. A fed-up Harper threatens to quit and to tell Alistair everything, as he works for Alistair and not Julian. Alistair calls and demands to know why Ivy is still living at the house. He demands that Julian marry Rebecca as soon as possible. Later, as Julian wishes he had spent 10 more minutes with Theresa, Pilar shows up, and Harper tells Julian to shut up! Pilar attacks Julian, and tells him if he ever touches Theresa again she will poison him!
At the Lopez-Fitzgerald house, Ethan decides to start a law practice. Theresa offers to be his secretary and suggests he use the living room as his office until he gets clients and can rent another place. Meanwhile, Luis has a fitful night of sleep as he dreams of Sheridan returning to him. She gives him a rose and tells him of her love for him. Later, Luis decides to go back to work to keep his mind off Sheridan. MEanwhile, Ethan realizes that he's going to need money for starting up his business. Theresa suggests Ivy, but Ethan says she has enough problems. Later, Theresa decides to ask Julian for the money, and Whitney does her best to conivince her that would be a bad idea!
On the islands, Sheridan is lost in foggy dreams. Liz and Brian wonder if she's remembering something from her past. Liz has a talk with Brian about his feelings for Sheridan. Brian says he knows she probably has a boyfriend, and he'd be lying if he said he didn't think about him and Sheridan getting together.
At the station, Luis tries to keep himself busy with work. He sees a rose on his desk, and it reminds him of his dream about Sheridan. Luis thinks this is a sign, and that Sheridan sent him the rose to tell him that Sheridan is alive. Sam walks in, and Luis tells Sam that Sheridan is alive! Sam tells Luis that he has to accept that Sheridan is dead, but Luis says this rose is a sign from Sheridan! Luis insists that Sheridan is still alive. Luis and Sam look at a picture of Sheridan, and Sam asks Luis if Sheridan was alive, why hasn't she called him? Luis thinks up excuses, she could be hurt or even in the hospital. Sam tries to convince Luis he is just dreaming, but Luis won't let his mind be swayed. Luis calls the captain of the islands and demands the search for Sheridan to be reopen. The captain won't without evidence. Luis begs the captain to help him. Sam helps Luis out and asks the captain to please do this as a favor. The captain asks Sam to fax him a picture of Sheridan and he'll have it posted around.
On the island, Liz knows Brian is falling in love with "Diana," and she warns him to be careful. Brian says even if "Diana" has another love out there, he's hoping that by the time she remembers who she is and who she is in love with, she'll have fallen in love with him and won't want to leave! Liz asks Brian if he has told "Diana" how he feels about her. Brian says no, and that now is not the time. Liz laughs and wonders why Brian thinks she will even fall for him. She also thinks if "Diana" had a man in her life, he will come looking for her. Meanwhile, "Diana" has faint memories of being Sheridan and crashing into Luis' car. Brian talks to her about it and tries to convince her maybe she's remembering something from another time or place. "Diana" says is sure that is not it. Brian tells her not to push it, her memory will come back when it does. "Diana" asks what if it doesn't come back? Brian says then she can build a new life, a better one. "Diana" says she wants to remember her life, and she wonders if she could have done something horrible in her past. Brian doubts that, and he says if a cop comes looking for her, he won't give her up. When Liz learns about "Diana's" memory, she warns Brian this police officer could be the man Diana was in love with. Brian says he'll have to take that chance. "Diana" decides to go back out to the rosebush to see if she can remember anything else. After she leaves, the police call Liz and tell her to expect and emergency fax soon!
At the Book Cafe, Beth tells Ethan that she's very sorry about Sheridan. Ethan thanks her for caring. Ethan tells Chad and Beth that Sheridan's death has made him realize how short life is, and he is planning to marry Theresa as soon as possible, and they are going to open a law firm together, with Theresa as his secretary. However, Beth tells Ethan that he's going to need capital to start his own business. Ethan says he and Theresa will make this happen, and his friends and family will help him. Beth says she'll do what she can, so Ethan asks her if she knows anyone who is selling old law books? Beth happens to have stacks of them in the basement, and she and Ethan work out a payment schedule for them.
Meanwhile, Whitney tries to convince Theresa that her asking Julian for the money for Ethan to start his own law firm is crazy! Theresa says Julian has to support her, she is his wife! Whitney tells Theresa that she has lost her mind! However, Theresa is dead set on asking Julian for help! Theresa says she will go to the mansion, she will get the money, and then she will leave. She asks Whitney to tell Ethan she went shopping, if he asks where she went. She also says it won't be a lie, she is shopping for money! Theresa leaves, and Whitney yells she is making the biggest mistake of her life! Suddenly, Ethan shows up and asks what is going on? Whitney claims Theresa is going shopping, and she is afraid she is going to make a huge mistake buying a pair of shoes she doesn't need. Whitney asks Ethan what the books he is carrying are for? Ethan says they are for his new business, and he talks about how good it is starting out on his own without the Crane money. Later, Ethan gets a call from the mansion, and heads over to help his mom! Meanwhile, Chad continues to press Whitney to tell him what this secret Theresa is keeping is, but she refuses.
At the mansion, Rebecca begins shooting Ivy's family heirlooms with her rifle! Gwen tries to convince her mom that shooting up this place wont' solve anything! Rebecca says it will show Julian who is the boss around here! Meanwhile, Pilar threatens to poison Julian if he goes near Theresa again! Julian refuses to stand for this and decides to call the police and have Pilar arrested. Julian calls the cops, but unfortunately for him, Luis answers! Julian hangs up on Luis. Pilar demands Julian have the marriage annulled today, because if Ivy contests the divorce, she doesn't want her daughter to be married to a pig as well as a bigamist. Julian tries to fire Pilar, but Pilar says she works for Ivy, not him! Suddenly, Julian hears the gunshots, and goes running to see what is going on. Rebecca tells Julian that if he doesn't marry her soon then she will have to take drastic measures to get what she wants, which is to be Mrs. Julian Crane. Julian says he can't marry her until he gets this mess with Ivy straightened out, but Rebecca knows something else is going on. She points the gun and Julian and decides to force him to confess! Rebecca says he not only is acting strange here, but he was in Bermuda with Theresa. Julian says he was only trying to comfort Theresa, that is all. Julian says Harper has been hard at work on a divorce, and once the divorce is finalized, they will wed. Rebecca lowers her gun, and whispers to Julian that he better marry her or she will tell everyone about his murdering Sheridan, and she warns him to stay away from Theresa! Rebecca then begins moving her things into the mansion, which shocks Julian because he though she would wait until Ivy moved out. Rebecca says this is her turf now, and she will defend it! Later, Theresa sneaks into the mansion and does her best to avoid Rebecca and Gwen. Suddenly, Ethan shows up to see his mother! Theresa sneaks into Julian's study and finds Julian, who was making a resolution to never see Theresa again. Unknown to the both of them, Pilar is outside the study!
Sam calls Grace, who is in her backyard watching the construction crew work on the house. Grace tells Sam that the guys are making so much progress, she thinks they're house will be back up in no time flat. Grace can tell something is bothering Sam, so he tells her about Luis' state of denial over Sheridan's death. Sam tells Grace that he's glad they didn't let David come between them, and that he loves her. Grace says she loves him to, and has to go and serve the men some lemonade. Grace serves the men lemonade, and is shocked when David turns up on the crew! David says he knows Grace is putting an end to their marriage, and he is only here to feel close to her, that is all. He says he cannot forget their past, but has accepted that she is moving on. Grace wishes she could believe David, and wishes he would move on with his life. David says if he wanted to move on, he would have done so twenty years ago. David starts in on Grace about Sam and Ivy, and he wonders if Grace truly has forgiven Sam, or is just holding onto him so that Ivy can't have him. Grace says that is not the case, and she once again tells David to please move on with his life. David says he will, if she can help him prove something. She says fine, anything! David says he was hoping she would say that.
At the station, Luis thanks the captain in Bermuda for distributing Sheridan's picture. Later, Luis talks to Sam about these odd dreams he has been having involving him and Sheridan loving one another in different lifetimes. Luis says it is like they have always been together. Sam tries to convince Luis that one can move on, and he uses Grace and Ivy as examples. However, Luis tells Sam that perhaps he hasn't gotten over Ivy and just doesn't want to admit it. Sam says he is over Ivy and loves Grace now. Luis then asks Sam what if Grace remembers her love for David, what would he do then? Sam says he doesn't know, but it could be that David is the great love of Grace's life. Sam says he just hopes that isn't the case.
At the mansion, Ethan meets with his mother to discuss their legal strategy. Ivy notices her heirlooms are broken, and knows Rebecca is behind them. Ethan asks Ivy how she is? Ivy says she is very worried, so Ethan offers to do whatever he can for her. Ivy begs Ethan not to marry Theresa! Ethan says he will marry her, and he wishes she could forgive Theresa. Ivy can't, so Ethan reminds her that she too lied to him about being Sam's son. Ivy says she would gladly have him hate her and lose him forever for her lie if it would mean he wouldn't marry Theresa. She says if she could lie to him once, she could do it again. Ethan tells his mother to drop it, he is going to marry Theresa.
Theresa shows up in Julian's study to see him and ask him for the money. She says she needs something from him, and he is the only one who can give it to her because he is her husband. This intrigues Julian, and he thinks Theresa wants him. He makes his move just as Pilar comes in. Pilar screams that she will kill him, and begins throwing things at Julian! Theresa claims Mr. Crane misunderstood why she came here. Theresa says she wanted money to help Ethan with his lawfirm, but Julian thought she had come around to the idea of being his wife. Julian says that is right, and writes Theresa a check. Suddenly, the annulment papers arrive, and Theresa signs them. Julian says it is done, but Pilar says nothing can give Theresa back her innocence! She grabs a letter opener and says she won't be able to sleep again until he is dead!
Ivy and Ethan hear Pilar screaming, and go to the study. Julian sets the annulment papers down as he runs from Pilar. Ethan arrives just in time and grabs the letter opener from Pilar. He demands to know why Theresa is here, and why Pilar was going to kill Julian? Pilar says it is time for the truth to come out! Theresa says no, she should be the one to tell Ethan! Theresa tells Ethan that she came here to ask Julian for money to help him out. As Ethan is telling her how sweet that is, but he doesn't want Crane money, Julian sees the annulment papers on the table. He tries to get them, but Ivy beats him to them! Ivy reads the papers and tells Ethan that Julian and Theresa have filed annulment papers. Ethan wonders why, and Ivy says the only thing she can think of is that they were married in Bermuda!
On the island, Sheridan decides to go pick a rose so she can carry it with her in hope that it will trigger her memory. After she leaves, Liz gets a call about the fax that is being sent around. Liz sees Brian staring at Sheridan, and warns him that his eyeballs are going to pop out of his socket. Doc shows up, and Liz tells Brian that if Sheridan gets her memory back, she's going to go back home. Doc says even if she doesn't, the people who love her are bound to come looking for her and take her back home.
Outside, Sheridan stands by a rosebush and wonders why it is so important to her. She remembers Luis giving her a rose, but she can't see his face. Sheridan continues having memories of Luis, and is convinced someone out there loves her. Brain comes outside and asks her what is going on. She tells him that she remembers a man, and can see his face, and she knows she is loved!
Brian and Sheridan go inside, and Sheridan tells the others about her memories. When she learns about the important fax coming, she is convinced it about her and the man who loves her is looking for her! The fax begins to come through the machine, and everyone waits to see what is about.
