Julian tells her that he won't allow her to ruin this family! Sheridan damns her family. Hank shows up to pick up Sheridan, who asks him what he used to do for Halloween as a kid. Hank says if she really wants to know, he'll show her on the way over to the dance.

At the Lopez-Fiztgerald house, Theresa and Whitney are dressed up like women going to a ball during the French Revolution. Theresa thinks she should skip the dance and just go to the mansion and be Ethan's Halloween Treat. Whitney asks Theresa to forget Ethan for one night and have fun. Pilar shows up and says that might be difficult, Ethan and Gwen will be at the dance. She tells her daughter that Ethan and Gwen will be the Phantom and Cat Woman, so she should stay away from them. Pilar leaves, and Theresa thinks Ethan is coming to the dance to see her. She gets an idea and decides to make a call. After Theresa and Whitney leave, Luis returns home to get into uniform to try and catch the mugger so he can get his promotion. Pilar is concerned for his safety, and Luis says he's worried about hers. He thinks if he can get this promotion than his mom can stop working for the Cranes.

Hank takes Sheridan down to the docks to see what he did as a kid. All the kids are running around throwing water balloons at houses and TP'ing them. Sheridan and Hank end up in a water balloon fight, and eventually get separated. Sheridan sees a guy walk by with shaving cream pies, so she buys them. Charity doesn't want to go, but Kay tells her that she should. Simone has shown up, she's dressed as the chiquita banana lady! Kay, who is out of her costume, goes downstairs and sees Miguel. She tells Miguel how great Charity looks, and she says she'll tells Charity to dance with the first person who asks her. Miguel thinks that would be great and says he's hoping to spend some time alone with her tonight. He tells Kay that tonight will be one to remember, and maybe she might even get that kiss from Reese. A spying Jessica learns that Kay tricked Charity into switching costumes, so she decides to get even. She learns from Miguel that Reese is going as Zorro, so she comes up with her own plan to get Reese and Kay together. Later, Grace doesn't think Charity should go in the outfit she is. She tells her to at least take off her fins and mask, but Kay insists she keep them on. As they go to leave, Grace tells them to have fun, but be careful as strange things can happen on Halloween.

Whitney and Theresa arrive at the party, and Whitney can't believe Chad is here. She confronts him and tells him that Luis wouldn't be happy with him for messing around with the music. Chad says that Simone asked Luis to hire him as the DJ. Whitney warns him to stay away from Simone. Chad tells her that she has the wrong costume on, she should have come as a witch! Theresa tells her to calm down and have some fun, but Whitney thinks she's going to have to spend the night keeping Simone away from that punk. Theresa starts looking for Ethan, who hasn't shown up. She and Whitney make a bet that Theresa will dance with Ethan tonight. Gwen and Theresa show up and as they dance, Theresa and Whitney spot them. Kay, Charity, Jessica, and Simone show up, and Whitney scolds her sister for getting Chad hired. Kay tells Whitney to just cool it! Reese and Miguel show up, and Kay spots them. Jessica, who is Little Bo Peep, tells Charity to go ahead and dance.

After the first dance has ended Kay tells Simone that "Miguel" is sending her very strong signals, so she is going to kiss him during the next dance! She asks where Charity is? Simone says she's dancing with Zorro/Reese. Kay says she deserves to be with Reese. She says she'll have to make sure Charity sees her kissing "Miguel" so she knows not to even come after him later. Charity and Zorro finish their dance, and Charity asks Jessica who he is? She says he is a friend from school, so she should dance with him again if he asks her. Charity and Zorro dance again, as do Kay and Bluebeard. Kay kisses Bluebeard, and Jessica says that her sister is finally getting what she asked for!

Theresa manages to have Gwen paged away from Ethan, and directs her to a storage closet where there is a phone. There isn't a phone in there, and she then locks Gwen inside! Theresa then manages to steal a dance with Ethan. Meanwhile, Whitney sees Simone take Chad a drink. Chad thanks her and tells her that the next song she plays will be for her.

In the woods, Tabitha has summoned demons to do her bidding tonight. She tells Timmy to wait and watch, all hell is about to break loose! The demons want out, and Tabitha tells them to remain calm a little while longer. Tabitha pulls out her reagents and throws them into the fire, which sparks and blazes. On the dance floor, Charity tells Zorro that she's having a great time. Elsewhere, Kay kisses Bluebeard because she says she can't wait any longer. The dance ends, and Kay tells Bluebeard to wait a second, she'll be right back. Kay goes to see Simone, who can't believe she did that! However, Simone tells Kay that Miguel thought she was Charity. Kay says that once Charity realizes she was kissing Miguel, and he loved every minute of it, she won't want anything to do with him. Zorro asks Charity to dance again, but she says she wants to sit this one out. Jessica and Charity go outside to take their masks off for a breather. Jessica asks Charity if she is having any fun? Charity says her friend is very nice and asks who he is? Jessica says she can't say because it will ruin the surprise.

Ethan, who is dancing with Theresa, wonders what is keeping his girlfriend. He eventually tells her that he has to go look for his girlfriend. Gwen is banging on the door of the room Theresa locked her in, but she soon realizes that nobody will hear her over the music. Ethan comes close to finding her, but she stops banging on the door so he doesn't know where she is. Meanwhile, Theresa tells Whitney that she locked Gwen in the closet so she could dance with Ethan. Whitney tells her that is outrageous even for her. Theresa knows, but says it was worth it. When Ethan returns, Theresa goes to talk to him and ask him to dance. As they dance he asks her who she is? Theresa says she can't tell him, they are only allowed to remove their masks when they are told to. Meanwhile, Jessica hears Gwen screaming from the closet and lets her out. Gwen returns to the dance and sees Ethan dancing with Theresa. She confronts them, and Ethan says he looked everywhere for her, where was she? Gwen says she got locked in a storage room, and he doesn't look very worried. Gwen darcastically thanks Theresa for taking care of her boyfriend.

Whitney returns to lecturing Simone about how Chad is trouble. Simone tells Whitney that bossing her around is one thing, but she needs to get herself a life because both she and Chad have every right to be here. Theresa tries to make Whitney understand her sister's actions. Whitney ends up bickering with Simone again over Chad. Whitney thinks her sister is making a fool of herself over someone who doesn't even notice she is alive. Whitney and Chad end up getting into an argument when Chad plays "She's So High." Whitney thought it was about her, but he tells her that she thinks everything is about her, but she doesn't have a clue. Whitney warns him to stay away from Simone, and Chad asks her what is her problem? She asks him if he is interested in her sister? Chad just says that she is a nice kid, who is for real unlike her princess of an older sister. He tells her to climb on her horse and ride on out of here. Whitney says she will, but she's taking her sister with her!

Chad stops the music and tells everyone that it is time for the great unmasking. He counts to three, and everyone removes their masks. Gwen and Ethan are shocked to see that Ethan has been dancing with Theresa. Theresa pretends she is shocked, but Gwen doesn't buy it. Theresa says she's sorry for misdirecting her, and she didn't know she was dancing with Ethan, she didn't expect to see them here. Ethan says they came here to help her get together with her dream man, and Gwen asks Theresa where he is? Theresa says she'll go look for him, and takes off. Gwen knows Theresa is up to something, but Ethan doesn't want to hear it. Ethan says that Theresa didn't know they were coming or what costume they were wearing. Theresa returns and says her guy must have gone home, and she asks if she's forgiven for dancing with Ethan while Gwen was locked up. Gwen says there is nothing to forgive, she knows there could be nothing between her and Ethan. However, she says its to bad she wasted her time dancing with Ethan instead of the guy she really likes. Theresa says it is okay, Ethan is a much better dancer. Ethan tells her that she makes it so easy, she is a great partner. Gwen spots the looks between Ethan and Theresa and grows even more jealous.

Charity is happy to learn that Zorro was Miguel, but Kay is horrified to find out that Bluebeard was Reese! Miguel asks Charity if she is sorry that she danced with him? Charity says no, she wasn't scared of him at all tonight. Reese thanks Miguel for setting him up with Kay, and Miguel tells Kay that it was Jessica's idea that they switch costumes. Jessica tells her sister that it was the least she could do for her. Charity thanks Jessica for talking her into coming because she had fun. She also says she didn't know how crazy for Reese Kay was. Miguel talks with Kay in private and tells her that he knew what she was up to, and he can't thank her enough. Kay is confused. Miguel tells her that it was ingenious that they switch costumes so Charity wouldn't be afraid of him, and now she isn't! Kay plays along with him. Miguel tells Kay that she and Reese looked hot and heavy tonight, nobody else would dare make a move on either one of them.

On the docks, Sheridan hides behind a trash can and waits for Hank to walk by so she can pie him in the face. Unfortunately, she pies Luis, who is furious! Luis asks her why she did this to him? Sheridan says she was having fun and she thought he was Hank. She explains what was going on, she was just trying to get in the spirit, she never meant to hit him. Luis tells her to just get away from him. Suddenly, the mayor and Sam show up. The mayor tells Sam that he wants the mugger caught pronto. When the mayor sees Luis, he asks what in the hell is going on? He says that Luis is a disgrace! Hank shows up with a mask, and the mayor asks if they have two cops making fools of themselves? He says he's not a cop, and then asks Sheridan what is going on? Sheridan tells him that it is all her fault, and she tries to explain things, but Luis tells her to back off. The mayor tells Luis that he has the good mind to fire him. Sam butts in and asks to let Luis explain what happened. Luis says it wasn't anyone's fault, it was just a misunderstanding. Sheridan doesn't understand why Luis doesn't tell the truth. The mayor says that every time he hears the name Lopez-Fitzgerald it is associated with bad news. He tells Sam that he can't believe this is the officer he recommended for detective. Sam says that he is one of the best cops he has. The mayor says he won't fire Luis, but he'll be damned if Luis ever makes detective while he's in office. Sam and the mayor leave, and Sam tries to explain things to him. Hank and Sheridan both explain what happened to Luis. Luis tells her that he is counting the minutes until she finishes her community service so he doesn't have to see her again. He then asks why they aren't at the center chaperoning the dance? Hank says they were on their way over, but Luis says that the dance is almost over and to forget it. Sheridan asks why he won't accept an apology from her? Luis tells her that he doesn't want anything from her! Luis leaves, and Sheridan tells Hank that there is something she has to do.

Sheridan goes after the mayor to talk to him about what happened. The mayor didn't recognize Sheridan at first because they haven't seen one another in a long time. Sheridan sticks up for Luis and says the pie incident was her fault. She explains what happened, and the mayor doesn't understand why Luis didn't speak up? Sheridan says it is because Luis comes from the old school and doesn't want to blame a lady for anything. The mayor says that he will call Sam in the morning, but Sheridan says Luis is right down the block. The mayor suggests they go tell him the good news now, but Sheridan doesn't want Luis to know what she did for him. They find Luis, and the mayor tells Luis that the incident won't be counted against him, and he is back in line for that promotion. Luis thanks the mayor, who leaves. Luis asks Sheridan if she expects him to thanks her? He tells her that he doesn't need help from her or any other Crane, he'll make detective on his own! Sheridan grabs him as he is walking away and says she's not through with him. He says he is on duty, some people have to work. Sheridan says she feels bad about what happened and wants to make it up to him, she offers to have her father put in a good work for him. Luis says he wants to earn the job himself. He says if she wants to do something for him, she can stay the hell out of his life!

As Grace sleeps on her sofa and dreams, fire demons surround her. Tabitha orders the demons to vaporize her enemies. Timmy tells Tabitha not to overdo it, but Tabitha thinks she is in control and will get her powers back. She says she can feel them seeping through her pores. As Grace cries in her sleep, Tabitha tells the children of darkness to do their worst. Timmy thinks maybe he should go home and make her a MarTimmy, but Tabitha tells Timmy that he should shut up, this is not the time for cold feet. She says the hour is upon them, and asks for her final charm. Timmy says he doesn't want to touch it, but Tabitha says they're only animal parts. Timmy says he wants to know what animal, and what part. She grabs the charm herself, which will finish Grace off. As she is about to through it in the fire, Father Lonagin shows up to stop Tabitha. He tells her that he will not allow her to prey upon the innocent. He douses the evil flames with holy water, and Tabitha watches as her powers slip out of her grasp. He asks God to strip Tabitha of her powers, and then tells Tabitha that she will never again terrorize this town! Tabitha thinks he is bluffing, but decides not to risk getting burned or scarred again. Tabitha grabs her stuff, and she and Timmy run for it. Back at Grace's house, the fire demons disperse and Sam comes home to find Grace crying. Sam wakes her up, and she tells him about the nightmare she had. She claims she dreamt about a fire in their house, and she heard screams of the dying. Sam makes Grace some tea to calm her down. Grace can't stop thinking about her dream and who the tortured souls screaming where. Sam tells her that it was a dream and she should let it go.

Tabitha and Timmy return home. She damns the priest for costing her her powers. Timmy says there is always tomorrow, but Tabitha says Halloween only comes once a year. She vows to take down Charity with the help of Kay Bennett.

Wednesday

November 3
Sorry this is so late!
At the Book Cafe, the mayor and Sam talk on the phone about what happened with Sheridan and Luis. The mayor is determined to tell Julian about the incident, despite Sam's suggesting that he not. After the call, Sam says that Luis is in for it now. Chad is working at the cafe and Sam talks to him about his search for his past. Sam offers to help him out, but Chad doesn't think he has any connections to anyone in this town. Sam tells him not to give up just yet.

Ivy comes to see Julian in the study. He hid out there in order to avoid seeing her this morning after their fight last night. Ivy tells Julian that she doesn't want to fight about his advice. In fact, Ivy says Ethan spent the night with Gwen, so he obviously didn't take his advice. She tells Julian to stop urging Ethan to sow his wild oats with Theresa. Julian thinks his son likes Theresa. Ivy says of course he likes her, but he'd never hurt Pilar by taking advantage of her daughter. She warns Julian not to put his hands on Theresa, and to stop encouraging Ethan to do so. Julian becomes angry and "how dare's" Ivy for using a harsh tone of voice with him. Julian says that Ethan is a Crane male who has every right to his share of women! She asks if they are Vikings now? Julian says she can't expect Ethan to ignore what he wants! Ivy says that she wishes she had a tape recorder because she'd love to share this with the anthropologists. Julian tells his wife that she knew the rules when she married him! Ivy says their situation was completely is completely different, but Julian doesn't think so. Ivy tells Julian that Ethan is nothing like him, but Julian's thinks he'd be better off if he was. Julian says Gwen has to accept the rules of their social setting, or at least learn. Ivy can't believe he would corrupt the one good member of this family by putting down fidelity and commitment. Julian tells her not to talk to him about commitment, he'd still like to know where she was on their wedding night. Ivy tells him what happened that night was not her fault, he was the one who cursed this marriage. She suggests she tell the children what a bastard their father is. Julian says if she does, he'll tell them what type of mother they have. Ivy goes to strike Julian, but he grabs her hand. WHen she says she'll do what she wants, Julian says that is what excites him about her, even after all these years it still does. He starts smelling her hair and the two end up kissing. Ivy pushes him away and tells him that was over a long time ago for them. Julian keeps kissing her and says he wonders how she could go so long without a man. Ivy tells him "With a man like you it is easy!" Julian calls her a bitch, and Ivy laughs. She tells him that his Crane manhood is his one weakness. Julian wonders what her weakness is. He says she has become restless all of the sudden and he wants to know what has changed. A breaking news report on a fire interrupted the show for a bit, and when it returned Ivy was in the study with Pilar, who had interrupted Ivy and Julian's fight, she stopped Ivy from telling Julian her secret. Pilar warns her that she must not break the silence, she must think of what she'd be destroying. Ivy realizes she is right and thanks Pilar for stopping her. Pilar sees Ivy's locket and tells her that it is dangerous for her to wear that. Ivy says she is careful with it, nobody has ever seen it.

Ethan and Gwen wake up, and Gwen is still upset about last night. Gwen tells Ethan that he has to wake up and realize what is really going on. Ethan tells Gwen that nothing is going on between Theresa and him. Gwen tells Ethan that Theresa is after him, but Ethan doesn't believe that. Gwen isn't still believes Theresa is up to something. Ethan tells Gwen to stop worrying and just be happy.

Pilar and Ivy go up to the Ivy's room and Ivy puts her locket in her desk. As Pilar is telling Ivy that nobody can ever know her secret, Ethan walks in and asks what secrets they are talking about? Ivy tells Ethan that she is planning a surprise for him and Gwen. Pilar leaves the room to get them some breakfast. Ivy talks to Ethan about Gwen, she tells him to marry Gwen now instead of waiting for the big wedding. Ethan wonders what the sudden rush is? Ivy says she just wants him to get married right away and move to Washington. Ethan doesn't understand why she wants him to leave? Ivy thinks that Ethan needs to start his political career now. Ethan is suspicious and tells his mother that he's beginning to suspect that his parents are keeping things from him. He asks his mother if she is happy? Ivy says she is, he, his brother (a new addition), and his sisters are her life. She says that she just wants him to be happily married to Gwen, have a political career, and run Crane Industries. Ethan says he is proud of who he is, but won't be like his father. Ivy tells him not to talk against his father, he is a good man. Ethan is shocked because he's never heard his mother stick up for his father. Ethan says that his father's views about women disgust him and he could never be like him. One of the maids tells Ivy that the cook would like to speak to her, so she leaves. Ethan asks the maid where his mom keeps her stamps? She says that they are in her desk. Ethan opens the drawer and comes across his mother's locket.

Sheridan is sleeping on her sofa dreaming about how Luis' face got in the way of her pie, and how he told her to stay out of his life. She wakes up and thinks that her nightmare is almost over, when she is through with her community service, she will never have to see him again. Gwen comes to visit Sheridan and the two talk. Gwen tells Sheridan that after last night, she is convinced Theresa has feelings for Ethan. She explains what happened, and how Theresa sent her to a storage room, she got locked in, and later she found her dancing with Ethan! Sheridan agrees with Ethan, Theresa couldn't have known they would be there. Gwen says she's tired of hearing that Theresa is innocent, she knows Theresa is up to something. Once again, Sheridan tells her that she has nothing to worry about with Ethan, and Theresa seems nice, unlike her brother. However, Sheridan says even if Theresa had feelings for one another she has to know that they could never be together. Later, Gwen tells Sheridan that if Luis ever knew Theresa was working here, he would force her to quit her job, which would keep her far away from Ethan.

At the Lopez-Fitzgerald house, Theresa is reliving last night as Whitney listens. Whitney tells her to snap out of it, Gwen is onto her and will fight for her man. Whitney warns her that Gwen has power and money. Theresa isn't worried about Gwen because she has fate on her side. She says it was destiny that her mom told them Ethan and Gwen were going to the dance and what they'd be wearing. She says that the electricity between her and Ethan while they were dancing was magical. Still, Theresa tells her that Gwen will scratch her eyes out if she keeps this up. Theresa says Gwen will not stand in her way, the only girl Ethan will marry his her. Whitney blurts out "over Ivy Crane's dead body!" Theresa says Ivy is crazy about her! Whitney says she loves her as an assistant, not as a daughter-in-law. Theresa thinks Ivy would accept her, but Whitney says that Ivy won't let her son marry out of his class. However, Theresa knows Ethan believes in the power of love. Whitney tells her that it won't happen. Theresa tells her that she can't understand how she feels because she's never felt passionate about anything. Whitney says she has more than Ivy to worry about, she has Luis. Theresa says that Luis will have to find a way to deal with her and Ethan. Luis walks in and is glad that Theresa is here. He tells her that he doesn't want her seeing anyone named Crane again, and if she does then he will send her to a convent! Theresa asks Luis if something happened? He says yes, and tells her about his accident with Sheridan Crane. He warns Theresa to forget about Prince Ethan, if she is still dreaming about him. He says he has to leave for work, but she is to stay away from the Cranes. Whitney tells Theresa that she better listen to her brother or she'll end up in a convent. Theresa says she'll take her chances. Whitney tells Theresa that if she is smart she will quit her job and leave Ethan alone. Theresa tells her that she can't understand because she's not in love. Whitney is sick of hearing her say that, she sometimes thinks about going on dates and having boyfriends to. Theresa is shocked because she's never heard her talk like that. Whitney says that she sometimes wonders what it would be like to have a real life because she feels like she's missing out on things. Theresa tells Whitney to tell her dad how she feels about this, so she says she will. Theresa has to stop by the mansion before school. Whitney tells her not to let Luis catch her there. Theresa thinks that is the last place Luis would be.

As Luis is leaving, he runs into Sam. Sam tells Luis that Julian is requesting to see them both at the mansion. They go to the mansion and meet with Julian. Julian wants to know why Sam is allowing Luis to continually harass his sister. Sam tells Julian that he must have misunderstood what the mayor said, but Julian says that the mayor was quiet clear about what happened, Luis dragged his sister into some ridiculous antics. Julian says that Officer Lopez-Fitzgerald has it in for his family and he's sick of it. Sam orders Luis to wait outside while he talks with Julian. Luis leaves, and Sam tells Julian that Luis is not a danger to his family, what happened was a simple misunderstanding and he should ask Sheridan about it. Julian tells Sam that he is a member of the Police Commission, and he is giving him a direct order to fire Luis!

Meanwhile, Theresa shows up to get something from Mrs. Crane's computer before school, and she runs into her mother. Pilar tells her there is a lot of tension here this morning and she should leave for her own good. As Theresa makes her way to the steps, she is unaware that Luis is standing at the bottom of the staircase.

Whitney goes to school and into her dad's office. She enters and sees someone sitting in her dad's chair, but it is facing the window. She tells her "dad" that she needs to talk to him about something important, and she wants him to just listen. She tells her dad that she loves tennis, but she feels like she is missing out on important things in her life. She tells her dad that she wants to start dating, have a boyfriend, she wants to be a normal girl. She asks if that is okay? Her dad's chair whips around, and it is Chad in the chair! He tells her to go for it, enjoy life, live a little, maybe it will loosen her up.

Thursday

November 4
I'll try to proof this later tonight!
At the school, Whitney thinks she is telling her dad she wants to start dating, and maybe have a boyfriend, she wants to be normal. However, she is shocked when her dad's chair turns around and sees it is Chad! Chad tells Whitney to go for it, live a little, enjoy life, maybe it will loosen her up! Whitney can't believe he sat there and pretended to be her father. Chad says the only person pretending is her, she needs to check out her own life and cool down a little. Whitney says that her life is fine, it is just great! Chad asks why she came in her begging to date then? Whitney says she came here to discuss a personal matter with her father. Whitney says that discussing things is what rational people do, they don't go around hitting people in pool halls! Chad tells her that she doesn't know squat about his life, and Whitney says he knows nothing about hers! Chad says maybe he didn't before, but he does now. Chad tells her to think long and hard about how she wants to live her life, because she isn't happy at all. Whitney says she is happy, but Chad doesn't believe her. He leaves to get to work, and Whitney hits the door and screams about how much she hates Chad.

At the mansion, Pilar tells Ivy that Sam Bennett is downstairs with Julian. Ivy doesn't understand what is going on. Pilar warns her not to do anything that would reveal her feelings for Sam. Ivy has a flashback of when Sam gave her the locket. It was Christmas time, and she promised Sam that she'd wear it forever. Pilar reminds Ivy that certain people's lives could be destroyed if they learned her secret. Pilar asks what if Ethan finds out about her and Sam? Ivy says that could never happen, that is why she's trying to convince him to move to DC in order to keep him away from Sam. Meanwhile, Ethan is working to open his mother's locket. Ivy comes to talk to her son and is shocked to find him trying to open her locket. Ivy tells him that her locket is very delicate. Ethan says he will be delicate with it, but it seems stuck. Ivy says she's never opened it. Ethan asks where she got it? Ivy says she doesn't know, she was young when she got it and it has been in her family for many generations. Ethan insists on opening the locket. Ivy and Pilar stand there helpless

In Julian's study, Sam tells Julian that he will not fire Luis. Julian says that Harmony is his town and he determines who works on the force. Sam says the town belongs to the citizens, not him! Sam tells Julian that nobody tells him how to run his police force. Julian tells Sam that unless he does this, he won't be running the police force for much longer! Sam asks if that is a threat? Julian says not at all, but his contract is up in a few months. He says if Sam plays ball with him, he'll have his contract renewed with a hefty raise. Otherwise, he'll get him fired! Sam says that is blackmail, but Julian tells him to spare him. Julian tells Sam that he is a family man, and has another mouth to feed now that his niece has moved in with him. Julian tells him that he could use a pay raise. He also says that he owns the bank which is mortgaging his house, one of those horror stories about a misplaced payment could ruin his credit. Sam refuses to fire Luis and says that he should get used to the fact that both he and Luis are going to remain officers, and all the Crane power, money, and threats will not change that!

Outside, Gwen tells Sheridan that if Luis learned Theresa worked at the mansion, he'd force her to quit her job, and then Theresa would never be near Ethan again! Back inside, Theresa is at the top of the staircase and is descending, unaware that her brother is standing at the bottom! She stops on the way down to look at some mail. Gwen goes into the mansion and sees Luis at the foot of the stairs, and Theresa on them. Theresa eventually sees Gwen standing there, and her brother's back. Theresa hides behind a plant, and as Gwen ponders what to do, Sheridan walks in and asks "Luis, what are you doing here?" Sheridan gives Theresa time to get back upstairs and hide. Luis tells Sheridan that he's here on police business. Sheridan yanks Gwen aside and scolds her because she knows she was going to let Luis catch Theresa! Gwen simply smiles at Gwen. Sheridan tells Gwen that jealousy never pays off. Gwen says she didn't know she had this ugly green eyed monster inside her until Theresa came along. Sheridan tells Gwen to go upstairs to see Ethan, the love in his eyes will convince her that she has nothing to be jealous about. Gwen tells Sheridan that she is right, and she goes upstairs. Sheridan goes in to see Luis and asks why he is here? Luis tells her that it is none of her business. Sheridan tells Luis that he is on her turf now, and she can torture him all she wants. Luis eventually cracks and tells Sheridan that the mayor called her brother, and he is not happy about what happened. Sheridan can't believe this and decides to go visit her brother. Luis tells her to leave it alone, but Sheridan says this isn't about him anymore, it is about her and her brother.

Back in the study, Sam and Julian are still arguing. Julian orders Sam to fire Luis right now! Sheridan walks in and tells her brother that Chief Bennett isn't going to fire anyone, and she will make sure of it! Julian tells her that this is no concern of hers, but Sheridan says it is. She tells Julian that he has no reason to get involved in this! Julian orders Sheridan to leave, but she refuses. She realizes that Julian wishes she never came back from Paris in the first place. Luis overhears Sheridan and her brother arguing. Sheridan is asking her brother if he expects to banish her because this is men's business? She says that she is well aware that the rights of leadership lies with the first born son, but she has always felt that was a bad rule, especially in his case! Sheridan apologizes to Sam for what happened, her brother overreacted. Sheridan tells Julian that Luis did nothing wrong, the entire incident was her fault. Julian tells his sister that he is disappointed that she is allying with others against their family, and father will be even more disappointed. Julian sees the scared look on his sister's face and he asks her if he's struck a nerve? Sheridan thinks her father would be proud of her, but Julian doubts that. Sheridan plays down and dirty and tells Julian that if she doesn't back down, she will go to the media! Julian tells her that she will not go to the media with this! Sheridan sees how upset her brother is getting and asks "Now who's struck a nerve?" Sheridan says they can forget all about this if he rescinds his order that Luis be fired. Julian says nothing, so Sheridan assumes that Julian has changed his mind. Sam thanks Sheridan for her help. Julian tells Sam that he's won this round, but after Sheridan's community service is over, Luis is to stay far away from Sheridan! He also reminds Sam, despite what he and Sheridan think, that Harmony is his town and he will do what he wants.

Sheridan tells Luis that he's off the hook, but Luis tells her that she doesn't deserve a medal for doing the right thing. Sheridan says a simple thank you would suffice. Luis tells her that if she had been at the dance where she should have, none of this would have happened! Sheridan tells Luis that next time she'll listen to him and stay out of it! Luis tells her while she's at it, stay out of his life! Sheridan says that he's got it, and stomps out of the room. Sam is furious at Luis for not thanking Sheridan. Luis says Sheridan only did it to one up her brother, and he won't thank any Crane until he gets information from them about his father. Sam tells him that was years ago, but he realizes he won't get anywhere with him on this. Luis leaves, and Julian tells Sam that he'd like to discuss something else with him.

Theresa calls Whitney, who is still in her dad's office, and tells her that she is this close to being found out by Luis, thanks to Gwen! Theresa tells WHitney that Gwen wanted her to get busted, Gwen knows she is a threat to her relationship with Ethan. Whitney tells her that she better think of a way to escape. Whitney tells Theresa about her unfortunate encounter with Chad. Theresa tells Whitney that Chad's advice may be right. Whitney says she has changed her mind, Tennis is her dream and that is all that matter right now, it is enough for her.

Gwen goes upstairs and finds Pilar and Ivy watching Ethan try to open Ivy's locket. She apologizes for interrupting, but she needs to steal Ethan away for a minute. Ivy tells them to go and have fun. Ethan tells his mother that he's taking the locket with him, he wants to keep trying to open it. Ethan ends up dropping the locket, and when he bends down to pick it up, he exclaims "I can't believe it, I don't know what to say!" Ethan apologizes for being a klutz, he broke the chain. Ivy is relieved, she though it had come open. Ivy takes the locket and tells him and Gwen to go off and have fun. After they leave, Pilar tells Ivy that if Ethan had seen the picture of Sam, this family would be torn apart and couldn't be put back together again. Ivy tells Pilar that she doesn't have to be so melodramatic, but Pilar tells her that she can't keep Ethan and Sam from running into each other. Ivy says she'll make sure that doesn't happen. Pilar says that if Ethan had opened her locket, her most closely guarded secret would have blown up in her face. Still, Pilar says keeping Ethan away from Sam now that he is grown will be more difficult. Ivy says that is why she is pushing him to move to DC. Ivy says she is late for an appointment and has to leave.

Ethan and Gwen go back to Ethan's room, and Ethan assures Gwen that he loves her. Gwen tells him that he has to prove it with a marriage proposal. Gwen tells Ethan that the next time he proposes, she won't turn him down. Ethan smiles, and Gwen realizes that Ethan is up to something. Ethan says he is going to propose to her, but only he knows when he will do it. A heartbroken Theresa listens in as Ethan tells Gwen he is planning to surprise her with a proposal. Ethan gets a call from his father, who wants to speak with him. Ethan offers to walk Gwen out, but she says she can see herself out.

Ethan and Julian have a meeting with Sam in the Crane lobby. Julian tells both Sam and Ethan that he wants Ethan to become more involved with the family responsibilities here in Harmony. Ethan says he would like that. Sam says he wants Ethan to be the new liaison between Crane Industries and the police force. Sam and Ethan both agree to work together. Ivy, who is coming down the stairs, overhears them discussing Ethan and Sam working together, and faints! Ethan and Sam run to her side.

Out back, Luis catches Theresa sneaking out of the mansion! Luis asks Theresa what in the hell she's doing here?

Back at the school, Whitney looks at a picture of her dad and tells him that she will play at Wimbledon one day, just like she's dreamed. Chad, who has returned and heard this, tells Whitney that she hopes her dreams do come true, if they are her dreams. Whitney and Chad lock eyes for a bit, and she thanks Chad for reminding her about her dreams. She then asks him to keep what she said to himself, she didn't mean any of the things she said and doesn't want to upset her father. Chad says he's no snitch, but she's a fool not to tell him how she really feels. Whitney says she is happy to make whatever sacrifices she needs to to make her dreams come true.

Charity and Miguel go to the Book Cafe and run into Hank. When Charity calls him Mr. Bennett, he tells her that he'd wish she'd call him Uncle Hank. Charity tells Uncle Hank she will. Charity sees Whitney on the computer and asks what she is doing? Whitney says she is doing research on the internet for a paper. Charity says she's heard about the internet, but doesn't know much about it. Whitney tells her to sit down and she'll teach her. Whitney tells her all about the internet and video games. Meanwhile, Kay tells Simone that Charity is no longer afraid of Miguel, and she doesn't like it. She says she needs to come up with a new way to keep them apart. She overhears Charity telling Whitney that she really likes Miguel and she doesn't know why she was afraid of him. Whitney tells her that she'll probably remember everything soon. Kay, under her breath, says "over my dead body!" She also hears Hank encouraging Miguel not to give up on Charity. She can't believe everyone, even her own uncle, is routing for Charity and Miguel. Simone tells Kay that she might as well face it, Miguel doesn't love her, so she should just give up. Kay refuses to give up on Miguel, who is her first love. Kay refuses to leave Miguel and Charity alone for one second because she might have a memory breakthrough. As she is playing on the internet, she remembers being with her mom while she was on the internet. Miguel notices something is wrong with Charity. She tells him that she just had a memory flash of her Aunt Grace sitting at a computer and smiling at her. Kay says Charity hasn't seen her mom working at a computer, so Miguel realizes the memory was of her mother. Miguel is about to hold Charity, so Kay pretends that she is so happy for Charity and gives her a big hug. She tells her not to push herself, Dr. Russell told her to take it easy. When Simone and Charity go to the ladies room, Miguel asks Kay why he stopped her from holding Charity? Kay says Charity was upset and she is still a little afraid of him, she could have freaked out. Kay tells Miguel that Charity is shy and he has to take things extra slow with her. Charity returns, and she says if she starts keeping a journal on the computer, she may begin to remember more things. Miguel, and Kay, tell her that is a great idea.

At the Crane mansion, Ivy faints when Julian asks Ethan and Sam to work together. Both Ethan and Sam run to her side to make sure she is okay. Ethan and Sam carry her into the library as Julian sits back and watches. Julian and Ethan leave to get some ice and brandy, and Sam asks Ivy if she can hear him? Ivy is laying on the couch, and Sam is by her side. She eventually wakes up, smiles at Sam, and touches his cheek. She tells him that she's so glad he's here, she loves him so much. Ivy asks if she fell off her horse? Sam remembers when they went on a picnic years ago and watched her horses run. Sam tells her that she's remembering something that happened years ago, but Ivy says their picnic was just thisafternoon. When Sam hears Julian coming, he tells Ivy that Julian and her son are coming, so she must keep quiet. Ivy doesn't understand what Sam is talking about. Julian comes in and when Sam gets up, Ivy begs him not to leave. Ethan shows up, and Ivy seems to remember who and where she is when he sees her face. Julian asks her why she fainted? Ivy says she didn't eat breakfast and it made her a little lightheaded. Ethan and Sam leave, and Julian asks Ivy what her little mellowdrama was really about? Ivy tells him that she doesn't know what he means. Julian wants to know why she really fainted, what isn't she telling him? Ivy tells Julian that not everyone has hidden motives, but Julian knws she is hiding something from him. Ivy questions Julian about Ethan working with Sam. Julian says he has asked Ethan to replace him on the police board because he and Sam don't get along. Julian tells her how he wanted Luis fired, but Sheridan threatened to go to the media if he didn't back down. Ivy says that is nice, but wants to why he is asking Ethan to replace him. Julian says he want to deal with Sam, and besides he wants Ethan to learn how things work here in Harmony. Ivy says she wanted Ethan to go to DC, but Julian says that Ethan belongs here, he will do as he tells him.

Pilar thanks Sheridan from keeping Luis from seeing the photograph of Theresa and Ethan in the paper. Sheridan asks Pilar why her son hates them so much? Pilar says she can't speak for Luis, but she doesn't know what he'd do if he found Theresa in this house. Sheridan tells Pilar, since she brought up the subject, that he almost found her a few minutes ago. She explains what happened earlier.

Pilar goes to see Ivy, who tells her what Julian has done, giving Ethan his seat on the police commission board. She fears that now that Ethan will be working with Sam the truth might come out. She says there is only one thing she can do, she has to tell Sam the truth. Pilar tells her that she is making a terrible mistake, but Ivy has already rushed out of the room. Later, Julian finds Pilar and wants to talk about his wife. He asks her what is going on with Mrs. Crane these days? Pilar says she seems the same to her. Julian sees Sam on the porch and decides to tell him something. Meanwhile, Ivy gets to Sam and tells him that she has to tell him something very important.

Out back, Luis is furious when he finds Theresa on the Crane estate grounds. He asks her what in the hell she's doing here? He thinks he knows what she's doing here, she is here because of her fantasies about Ethan and she's probably here to try and catch a glimpse of him. Luis tells her that he's warned her what happens when you get around the Cranes, and uses their dad as an example. Luis tells Theresa that she leaves him no choice, he's sending her far away to a convent school! Theresa begs him not to do that, but Luis says he said he should have done it a long time ago. Sheridan shows up and tells Sheridan that she must be Pilar's daughter, and she wants to thank her for bringing her her blouse. Sheridan tells Luis that Theresa came her to deliver a blouse for her. Luis appologizes for flying off the handle, he shouldn't have jumped to conclusions. Sheridan tells Luis that seems to be his MO. Luis appologizes once again to his sister. She tells him it's okay, she understands. Theresa says she will be late for school, so she leaves. Sheridan tells Luis that he was pretty hard on his sister, and asks what the Cranes have done to him? Luis says that her family wouldn't admit to anything. Sheridan demands to know what her family has done to him. Luis ignores the question and rants about how her father and brother hurt people in this town with their actions, by thinking that they own the town and can get away with anything. Sheridan asks once again what they have done to his family? Luis refuses to discuss this with her or her brother, he will take this up with Alastair! Sheridan asks him why he needs to talk to her father? Luis tells her goodbye and leaves.

Sheridan goes up to Ethan's room and tells him about what happened between Luis and Theresa. Ethan doesn't understand what they did to him to make him so angry. Sheridan says she asked him that, but he refused to answer. They both wonder why Luis thinks their family somehow harmed his family. Sheridan then wonders if her father or Julian did something terrible to their family? She says if their family did some horrible injustice to his family, they should make it up to him and make amends. Ethan just laughs and says there are no amends that they have to make.

Theresa goes to school and tells Whitney about what happened earlier at the mansion. Whitney tries to convince Theresa that Ethan will marry Gwen, she has to get that through her head! Later, Theresa tells Whitney that she and Ethan are destined to be together because she dreamt that Ethan came to her house to see her. Whitney tells her that she can't build her future on a dream that will never happen. Theresa begins to wonder if Whitney is right.

Luis meets up with Hank later and tells him that Sheridan got her brother to keep from firing him. Hank says he told him Sheridan was nice, but Luis says there is nothing nice about any of the Cranes. Hank wonders why Julian has it in for him? Luis thinks he is doing his father's work, he's positive that Alastair had something to do with his dad's dissapearance. They start argung about what makes a woman beautiful, Luis thinks it is what is on the inside that makes a person beautiful, and Sheridan just has a big Crane ego inside her. Luis says he has to get going home to appologize to Theresa. Hank asks to come along to watch because seeing him grovel will make his day. Luis gives him an evil look, and Hank asks if that is a yes or no?

Theresa and Whitney go to Theresa's house. Theresa thinks her life is over now that she realizes becoming Ethan's wife will never happen. Whitney asks Theresa to promise to live her life and let Ethan and Gwen live theirs. Theresa promises and says that she is over Ethan, she knows they can't be together. Suddenly, Ethan shows up at her front door and says he's here because of her! This floor Theresa, because he said the same thing to her in her dream.

Luis and Hank show up and when Hank jokes about Ethan marrying Theresa, Luis says he would kill Ethan if he came within a hundred feet of Theresa!
