The kids enter the garden maze and attempt to make their way to the love square in the center. As Charity walks through the maze, the fog causes her to have mysterious visions! First she sees Miguel kissing Kay; then she sees Simone finding Chad and Whitney together, and warning her sister to keep away from her man or else; and finally she sees Ethan telling Theresa that he will never forgive her for this. Charity eventually runs into Miguel, and he can see something is troubling her. She tells him about two of her visions, and when she comes to the final one, about him and Kay, Kay and Simone show up. When Miguel tells them that Charity is having premonitions, they ask what about. Meanwhile, Ethan, Theresa, Whitney, and Chad, continue to search for the love square.
In the mansion, Julian is shocked that the phone call DeeDee made hasn't done the trick and broken up Luis and Sheridan. Alistair tells Julian that if this plan doesn't work, he'll have to kill Sheridan and Luis. Julian is positive that it will work, and moves onto phase two. While Luis and Hank are busy talking, Sheridan stumbles on DeeDee fighting with the Luis imposter. She is furious because she now believes Luis lied to her about the woman on the phone. Sheridan vows to find Luis and make him tell her what is going on.
Gwen is furious with her mom because there is no story in the tabloid exposing Theresa. Rebecca tells her to just be patient, but Gwen refuses. As she talks to herself about making Theresa pay, Hank overhears her and warns her not to mess with Theresa, or she'll have to deal with her overprotective big brother Luis. Hank advises Gwen to move on with her life, she's gorgeous and can get any guy she wants. Later, Gwen runs into the tabloid reporter. He asks her not to blow his cover, but Gwen says she is very happy to see him.
In Hecuba's lair, Tabitha is upset because she and Timmy are trapped and are unable to escape and see what fun the magic fog is causing up at the party. Timmy finds a magic wand and decides to use it to get them out of here, but Tabitha doubts he can do anything with it. Meanwhile, up at the party, Julian realizes that Tabitha and her dolly are missing. As Rebecca is telling Julian that he must get over his obsession with Tabitha's doll, Timmy casts a spell and accidentally zaps Julian into Hecuba's lair. He sees Timmy talking and walking, and begins to chase after him. Timmy quickly zaps Julian back, and when Julian tells Rebecca what just happened, she decides he has drank way too much tonight. Back in the lair, Timmy tries once again to transport him and Tabitha out of the lair, and ends up turning Tabitha into a mouse!
Back at the party, Julian, Rebecca, DeeDee, and the imposter all watch as Sheridan finds Luis and demands he tell her what is going on between him and that other woman!
At the party, Gwen is thrilled to see the tabloid reporter, and she asks him why he is here. He says he is here to do a follow-up on his first story and find out who exposed Ethan's paternity. He asks Gwen if she knows of anyone who might have sent him the email? Gwen drifts off into a little fantasy where she exposes Theresa, and then when Ethan and Theresa return to the party, the reporter exposes Theresa in front of Ethan. Ethan is furious when he recognizes her email, and he tells her that he'll never love her again and he'll never marry her. BAck in the real world, Gwen tells the reporter that she doesn't know anyone who would hate Ethan that much to do something like that, but she suggests she may be able to get Ethan to talk to him. When Gwen learns Ethan has gone to the gardens, she and the reporter head there. However, upon entering the maze, the two end up getting split up.
In the maze, Miguel sees that Charity's visions have upset her, so he suggests they stop playing this game. Charity says they are stupid visions, and she wants to keep playing. Kay presses Charity to tell them what she saw, but Charity refuses. Miguel and Charity sit on a bench for a bit, and Charity begins to feel better. She says she wants to continue with the game, so they all head back into the maze. However, Charity still continues to have visions of Miguel and Kay running around together in the maze laughing and having fun.
Chad, Whitney, Ethan, and Theresa all head back into the maze separately, per the rules, and search for the love square. Chad ends up seeing Simone, but the fog convinces him that she is Whitney. He ends up grabbing her and kissing her! Meanwhile, Whitney stumbles upon a door, and when she opens it, she finds herself in CHad's room! Chad tells Whitney that he thought they agreed never to see one another again! Elsewhere, Gwen finds Ethan, who wonders what she is doing here? Gwen says she doesn't really know. Meanwhile, Theresa meets up with the reporter. As the reporter talks with Theresa, Ethan and Gwen overhear him from the other side of the bushes. Ethan recognizes the reporter, and he wonders who he is talking to.
In Hecuba's lair, Timmy manages to turn Tabitha back into a person. Tabitha then uses Hecuba's old potions to reactivate her magic pool and see what is going on. When she sees Reese snooping around up in the gardens, she decides to teach him a lesson. She turns a little cat into a lion to scare him! Reese is positive Tabitha did this to try and kill him, but the lion turns back into a cat when Jessica shows up. Jessica tells Reese he needs to control his overactive imagination and forget about this quest to prove Tabitha is a witch. Back in Hecuba's lair, Tabitha manages to see what is going on in the garden maze, and is happy to see everyone is suffering.
In Hecuba's lair, Timmy tell Tabitha that this pool is evil! Tabitha thinks this pool is marvelous, it is showing them what is happening upstairs. Timmy would rather be out of this lair, and up above. Tabitha agrees, but she says that they might as well enjoy the show. Tabitha says that once the fog is gone, they'll figure a way out, but until then they should continue watching the entertainment going on up above. Tabitha and Timmy do just that, they watch everything that goes on up above.
Up at the mansion, Ivy and Sam argue over the past. Ivy tells Sam their past was real, it wasn't a fantasy, and she knows he still loves her. Ivy pulls Sam into a kiss, but at the last moment, he backs away. He says this isn't right, but Ivy says it is right. Sam says he doesn't want to hurt his wife, but Ivy knows he still loves her and he is fighting the way he feels. Ivy says she will not stop until she makes him realize he loves her too and tells her so. Sam tells her that she won't convince him of anything, Grace is the only woman he wants in his life. Ivy tells Sam he is wrong, she saw the way he was looking at her. Ivy then turns on an old song of theirs, "If only you believed in miracles." Sam is taken back to the past, and Ivy tells him that she can see he's never forgotten her, like she has never forgotten him. Ivy asks Sam to dance with her, but Sam refuses. He tells Ivy to leave him the hell alone, he doesn't love her and he never has! Ivy is devastated and she tells Sam that she'll never bother him again, she won't bother anyone again! Ivy then opens her window, and says if she can't have him, she doesn't want to live! Ivy climbs out her window and balances on the ledge outside! Sam asks Ivy to come back inside, but she yells at him not to touch her! Sam asks her to come inside and they will talk, but Ivy says no, they have nothing to talk about! Sam tries to tell her she has so much to live for, but Ivy says she has nothing to live for. Ivy then jumps!
Meanwhile, Grace has nightmares of Sam and Ivy kissing one another. She wakes up screaming, and realizes she was wrong to send Sam to the mansion. She turns the light on and says she has to get to the mansion! Grace gets dressed and heads to the mansion.
On the estate grounds, Julian and Rebecca watch the fallout between Sheridan and Luis. Rebecca is loving this and asks if it is always such a rush to play God with people's lives? Julian remembers losing Eve, and he says it is only a rush when you are tearing people apart, not being the one being torn apart. Deedee shows up to watch her handy work as well.
Sheridan demands Luis tell her who the woman he was talking to was? Luis says he's been talking to Hank in the solarium. Sheridan says if that is so, where did he get the smear of lipstick on him from? Luis says it is probably Sharon, the wife of a cop friend. However, Sharon's description doesn't match the woman Sheridan saw the Luis imposter with. Suddenly, Luis says he knows why she thought she saw him with another woman. Luis says he thinks the fog is just playing tricks on her mind, it is so thick that one can barely see one's hand in front of one's face. Luis assures her that he doesn't want to be with anyone but her. However, maybe she can't trust him completely, maybe she hasn't gotten over the incident on the wharf. Sheridan tells Luis that she believes him if he says that wasn't him. Luis thinks she may believe him on the surface, but maybe her subconscious hasn't gotten over it, and she doesn't want to marry him. Sheridan tells Luis that he is wrong, she trusts him completely, and tonight has just been one weird event after another. Luis tells Sheridan that he'd never lie to her, and she tells him that she trusts him with his life. Luis' phone rings, and he answers it. It is the station calling, they need him right away. Luis says he'll be there, and he apologizes to Sheridan. Sheridan says she's going to have to get used to this if she's going to be a cop's wife.
Meanwhile, Julian realizes something is going wrong, so he tells DeeDee that he'll call her when he's ready for the next phase of the plan. Julian and Rebecca spy on Luis and Sheridan, and learn that Luis has to go down to the station. Rebecca thinks this ruins everything. Julian calls DeeDee and the imposter and tells them that he is the one who arranged for Luis to be called away! Julian says that Luis and Sheridan will be torn apart permanently by time this night is over.
Eve begins to think about the past when she hears her own voice coming from Julian's study. Eve realizes she has to get that tape, not knowing that TC is in the study listening to it! She is shocked when she walks into the study and finds TC in there! TC is furious and tells Eve that he cam in here to cool down after seeing her with Julian earlier, and that is when he accidentally turned on the stereo. TC asks Eve why Julian has this tape? TC hates Julian even more for having this tape, and he tries to find out where it came from. Unfortunately, nothing is labeled. TC says he knows this voice, and he knows where this tape came from, and he knows why Julian made it! TC tells Eve that he's figured it all out! TC says the woman on the tape is in pain, and he suspects that Julian had an affair with this person and then dumped them. TC wants to find this woman and help her. TC bets that Julian listens to this tape and thinks about the pain he caused this woman. TC becomes so angry that he says he wants to leave. Eve thinks that would be a good idea. TC leaves the room, and Eve quickly grabs the tape.
TC heads out to the grounds of the estate, and gets lost in the fog. He ends up hitting his head on a statue when he trips, and when he comes too, his dead father is standing in front of him! TC's father asks his son what in the hell he is doing here? He says this place is pure evil, and he better come to grips with the truth that is staring him in the face, or it will destroy his entire family! TC's father tells TC that Julian has hurt not only him, but his family as well. His father tells TC that Julian Crane must be killed!
Meanwhile, Eve also gets lost in the fog, and runs into Grace. Grace asks where Sam is, she has to find him! Eve says she thinks he is with Ivy. Grace runs off, and Eve hopes Grace finds Sam before it is too late. Suddenly, Eve finds herself in a hospital room which is twenty years old. Eve realizes she is in the hospital where she lost her son. A nurse approaches Eve and asks "Ms. Johnson" where she got those party cloths, and why she is out of her room? Eve asks why she is here? The nurse said she was brought here today to have her baby, and she asks if she wants to see him? Eve asks "My baby is still alive?"
Back up in Ivy's room, Sam manages to grab Ivy as she jumps, and he pulls her inside. Suddenly, the fog drifts into the room, and Sam pulls Ivy into a kiss. Suddenly, Grace shows up, and her and Charity's premonition seems to be coming true!
Eve is transported back to the hospital where she had her baby son. It is the day she had her baby, and a nurse asks her if she'd like to see her son. Eve asks "My son is still alive?" The nurse says of course he is, and she goes to get him. Eve tells herself that this can't be happening, what is going on here? The nurse returns with Eve's son, which she holds. Eve realizes it really is her baby, and she says she'll never let him go. The nurse has to take the baby away to change him, but says she'll bring him right back. After she leaves, Eve remembers they never brought her baby back to her, he ended up dying. She hopes she can change the past, and begins running through the hospital to try and find her baby. She hears her son crying, and she screams that she is coming and won't let him die! Eve finds her baby in the nursery, and is shocked when she sees a strange man walk in and take her baby! The nurse then returns and tells Eve that her baby is dead, but Eve knows what she saw. The nurse then gives Eve a sedative because she is hysterical. As she cries, she is transported back to the Crane estate.
Meanwhile, an unconscious TC has visions of his father, who is furious with him for attending a Crane party. TC's father tells TC that Julian must pay with his life, Julian must die! TC's father tells TC to kill Julian Crane! TC continues to talk to his dad, and is taken back to the night of the car crash which ended his tennis career. TC's father tells him this accident robbed him of his career, and TC says it caused his father to die of a broken heart. TC's father then shows him who was driving the other car, Julian! TC is furious and accuses Julian of destroying his life. TC says he will make him pay, he will kill him! TC then begins to start chocking Julian, who is sitting in his car!
In the garden, Chad grabs Simone, thinking she is Whitney, and gives her a kiss. He tells her that he loves her and only her! Elsewhere, Whitney stumbles upon a door that leads to Chad's room. Chad is sitting on his bed, and he tells her that he thought they agreed never to see one another again. Whitney doesn't understand. Chad tells her that it is over. Whitney is confused and asks why, she thought he had feelings for her? He told her that he loved her! Chad says they both have to move on with their lives, but Whitney says no, she loves him. Chad tells Whitney that she should have just stayed away, they promised never to see one another again. Whitney asks what she did? Chad shows her a piece of paper, which shocks her. Whitney looks at the paper and tells him that he is right, they can't be together. Whitney says she doesn't understand any of this. Suddenly, Chad disappears! When Whitney leaves the room, she finds herself back in the garden maze. Meanwhile, Chad realizes he is kissing Simone just as Whitney stumbles upon them! Chad can't believe this, and steps away. Whitney tells Chad that they were just in his room having a serious discussion when she left her, and now he is here with Simone. Simone says that Chad has been here with her for awhile, being very romantic and loving. Chad tries to explain to Whitney that he thought he was kissing her, but Simone won't let him speak. Simone thinks they are boyfriend and \ girlfriend and are in love. Simone decides to go find Kay and tell her what happened. Chad tells Whitney that this must be a mistake, because he swore he was kissing her. Whitney tells Chad that she can't be with him, it is over. Chad says they will just find Simone and tell her the truth, but Whitney says they can't be together. Chad asks her why? Whitney says she doesn't know, she just knows that something is wrong and she can't be with him.
At the mansion, Grace walks into Ivy's room just as Sam is about to kiss Ivy! Sam breaks away from Ivy and wonders what is going on? Ivy tells him that he is remembering how much he loved her. Sam remembers his past with Ivy, including when he gave her the locket she wears around her neck. Ivy tells Sam it can be like that again, and they once again lean in for a kiss. Grace watches and hopes Sam doesn't do it. Suddenly, Sam sees Ivy as she was a long time ago. A confused Sam tells her that he can't lose her again. Sam tells Ivy that he loves her, he'll always love her, and then he kisses her as Grace watches! Grace cries, and Sam breaks away from Ivy. When GRace runs off, Sam goes after Grace, even though Ivy begs him to stay with her.
Grace runs out onto the grounds and finds Eve out cold. When Eve comes to, she says her baby is alive, some man took him! Eve eventually realizes it must have all been a hallucination stirred up by this place. Grace says she didn't have a choice, she had to come, and now she has lost Sam to Ivy.
Meanwhile, Sam, who is looking for Grace, finds TC chocking a statue. TC snaps too and asks where Julian is, where is the car? Sam tries to talk some sense into TC, but Sam says that Julian was here, and when he finds him, he will kill him!
Theresa runs into the tabloid reporter in the maze, and they begin to argue. Meanwhile, Ethan, who has run into Gwen, overhears the reporter talking to someone. Ethan recognizes his voice, and wonders who he is talking to. Ethan runs around and manages to find a crack in the bushes so he can see the reporter, and he bursts through planning to kill the reporter and whomever he is confiding in! Theresa is hiding in the bushes as Ethan tackles the reporter and plans to kill him. Theresa rushes out and tells Ethan not to do it! Ethan asks her what she is doing here? Theresa says she can explain. Gwen tells Ethan that she was the one talking to the reporter, she is his accomplice! Ethan throws the reporter aside and asks Theresa why she is here. Gwen says it is obvious that she is the person he has been looking for! Theresa tells Ethan that she is NOT his accomplice, she loves him. Ethan asks her why she is here? Theresa says she just ran into the reporter, and she was talking to him to try and learn who sent the email. Ethan says this doesn't feel right. Theresa swears she has never seen that man, but Gwen doesn't buy it. Ethan doesn't understand why the reporter was bragging to her. Gwen asks Theresa to just admit that she sent the email. Ethan asks Theresa if that is true, did she ruin his life? Theresa says of course not, why would she do that? Gwen suggests she did it because she knew the Cranes wouldn't let Ethan marry the housekeeper's daughter! Theresa says that is not true. Ethan asks Theresa to tell him once more, did she send the email or not. Theresa says no, she would never do anything to intentionally hurt him. Gwen asks Theresa if she knew Ethan was a Bennett before the night of the engagement party? Theresa lies and says she didn't know that Ethan was a Bennett. A spying Tabitha tells Timmy that Theresa has sealed her doom by lying to Ethan point blank! Ethan apologizes to Theresa, and tells the reporter to get the hell out of here! Ethan tells Theresa that he never really doubted her, he just got carried away when he saw her with the reporter. He says it must have been the fog, he knows she would never lie to him.
Outside the mansion , Julian calls his cop on the take at the station and asks him if he knows what he has to do? The cop says he does, and asks when he'll get his money? Julian says in the morning, if everything goes as planned. Later, the imposter and DeeDee go to get set up for their big show.
In the mansion, Sheridan wishes Luis didn't have to leave, but Luis says the sooner he goes, the sooner he will get back. Luis says they can spend the rest of the night in one another's arms. As they kiss, Sheridan hears the voice of the woman who called Luis! Sheridan wants to see who she is, and rushes outside.
Sheridan and Luis go outside, and Sheridan sees Julian and Rebecca. She asks them if they saw a woman just know, but they say no. Rebecca tells them they should be inside with their guests. Julian says they aren't leaving are they? Luis says he has to go to the station, and Julian pretends like he is upset and suggests it wait till tomorrow. Luis and Sheridan says it can't wait, but Luis says he'll be back. Julian tells Luis, before he leaves, that he knows he has his doubts, but he really does want to start over. Sheridan is so thrilled and hopes tonight can be a new start for all of them. Luis tells Julian that he was positive he was up to something with this party, but nothing has happened, so he guesses he was wrong. Sheridan says this has been the perfect night, and Rebecca says it will only get better. Luis leaves, and Sheridan whispers "hurry back."
Julian meets up with the imposter and DeeDee and gives them some last minute instructions. Later, Julian, Rebecca, and Sheridan return to the party, and Julian continues to tell Sheridan how much he likes Luis. Julian then begins to make Sheridan worry about Luis by saying the fog is very thick. Sheridan calls the station and even though Luis has arrived, Julian's cop on the take says that Luis isn't here, and he hasn't been called to the station. Sheridan begins to worry and thinks perhaps he has had an accident, so she leaves.
Outside, the imposter parks a car under a street lamp with Luis' jacket in the front street so Sheridan will be convinced it is Luis' car. He and DeeDee then go into a room, together! Meanwhile, Sheridan begins to feel that something is right. She decides to go to the station to make sure Luis is okay. Back in one of the cottages, DeeDee and the imposter begin to undress and get ready to perform for Sheridan.
