In the mine shaft, Miguel cradles an unconscious Kay in his arms and tells her that he can't lose both her and Charity. As the cave-in continues, Miguel reaches to open the magic box, hoping the golden light will heal Kay. However, the ground opens up and the box falls deep into the earth. Miguel fears Kay will die. Kay, however, is saved and comes back to Kay. Miguel tells her that it is not safe her and they must leave. Kay claims she doesn't think she's strong enough to walk, so Miguel carries her.
In Hecuba's lair, Tabitha searches for a cork to keep Hecuba sealed in a bottle. Timmy keeps his hand over the bottle opening as a tiny Hecuba zaps his hand with lightning bolts. Timmy finally drops the bottle in pain. Tabitha finds the cork, but she may be too late as Hecuba begins to cast a spell to free herself. Fortunately, Tabitha finds a cork for the bottle at the last minute, and seals Hecuba inside. Hecuba vows to get Tabitha and her little doll too.
Tabitha and Timmy are forced to hide when Kay and Miguel stumble upon the cave. Miguel can't find Charity, and is furious because he thought once they destroyed the evil Charity was supposed to be returned to him. Tabitha thinks this is wonderful news, because they no longer have to worry about Charity or Hecuba. Kay also hopes they never see Charity again. When Miguel asks Kay what she just said, Kay tells Miguel that she doesn't think it is over.
At the hospital, Sam informs Ivy he does think about the night they conceived Ethan. Grace, who is eavesdropping, is stung. However, Sam devastates Ivy by claiming he thinks about how their night together pales in comparison to the love he's shared with Grace. Still watching from a distance, Grace is moved as Sam passionately states his deep love for her. Grace approaches Sam, and the two kiss and reunite as Ivy watches.
Eve goes to the nursery and continues thinking about her first child. TC catches her and assumes that she is crying because she is thinking about how beautiful Whitney was. TC and Eve talk about Whitney and Chad, and TC hopes that when Whitney is ready for love, she chooses a man like Chad. Eve, however, says Whitney has more important things to think about than love right now, and TC agrees. However, TC knows when Whitney is ready for love, she will go at it full-force just like she does with everything else. Eve then begins to wonder what would happen if something happened to break WHitney's heart and disillusion her on love.
Elsewhere, as they wait around for Chad's DNA test, Theresa and Ethan force Whitney and CHad to keep the promises they made to them weeks ago. Chad admits to Whitney that when he was delirious, kissed Simone, and said he loved her, that he was actually thinking of her. Whithey admits to CHad that she told Theresa is she and Ethan were able to work things out, then perhaps there was a chance for the two of them. Whitney and Chad share a kiss, and Chad asks THeresa what she has planned for them next, since she orchestrated this little love connection. Theresa's eyes widen and she suggests a double wedding!
At the cottage, Luis expresses his frustration over the missing pages from Katherine's diaries and Julian shredding the mysterious file on his father. Luis denounces the Cranes as evil, but assures Sheridan his contempt does not extend to her. Sheridan shakily admits her father and brother probably did kill Martin, and if he never wants to see her again then she'll understand. Sheridan hears a timer go off in the kitchen, and after returning from taking something out of the oven, Luis is gone!
Elsewhere, TC knows that when Whitney falls in love, it will be forever. Eve begins to cry when she theorizes something could come between her and the man she loves. TC says if that happened, Whitney may never recover. Eve starts bawling, and TC thinks he knows exactly why she is upset, she's afraid that their girls might fall in love with the same guy. TC tells her not to worry because their girls are blood related, which is more important than any boy.
Later, Eve sees the Jerry Winger show, and the current episode is "Women with Secrets." Eve panics, and begins having an outrageous fantasy. Eve ends up on the Jerry show, and is told that she is here today because her secret has ruined her daughter's life. Whitney comes out on stage, very pregnant, and asks her mother why she didn't tell her that Chad Harris was her brother! Eve says she is sorry, but Whitney says it is a little late for apologizes, she's pregnant with his baby! Eve tells Jerry that she was told her baby died, she didn't know! Jerry brings out Chad, who asks Eve if this is true? Eve tells Chad that she didn't know, and she had no idea it was a possibility Jerry calls Eve on her lie and says that he knows her best friend warned her of the possibility months ago, as did Ivy Crane. Jerry brings out Grace and Ivy, and Grace gives Jerry a tomato soup cake! Grace tells Jerry how she told Eve that Chad could be her son, and the evil in Harmony could ruin her life. Grace then asks everyone in the audience to say a prayer for her niece Charity, who is currently trapped in hell. Jerry jokes that this is an interesting town, what will she tell her next, they have witches? Jerry talks with Ivy about Eve's affair with her husband, and how she put two and two together. Whitney and CHad blame Eve for this. Jerry decides to bring out Chad's father, Julian. However, before he does that, he decides to show Chad some pictures from his family album, which are the porn pictures Julian and Eve made years ago! Julian comes out and refuses to believe Chad is his son. Chad tells Julian it is time he pays, and he attacks him! The body guards pull CHad off of Julian, and Jerry says when they come back they'll meet Eve's husband TC. TC comes out and attacks Julian, who is saved once again by Jerry's bodyguards. Jerry asks TC what it feels like to know his wife had a bastard son with Julian Crane. TC says he'll show him how he feels, and goes to kill Julian! The bodyguards once again step in. TC tells Julian that his days are numbered, and he calls Eve a slut. AListair calls into the show and tells Eve that if she only played the tape like he asked then none of this would have happened. Whitney tells her mom that she never wants to see her again, and everyone tells Eve what a horrible person she is. Eve snaps out of her fantasy, and ends up collapsing in TC's arms!
Whitney tells Theresa, who proposes a double wedding, that she is moving a little too quickly, and planning a wedding takes time. Theresa, however, says they could get their blood tests and a marriage license today if they wanted. Chad tells Theresa to slow down, he and Whitney haven't even been on an official date, so they aren't ready to walk down the isle just yet. Theresa says that he just used the word yet, so that must mean they will marry eventually, so why not do it now! Whitney tells Theresa that they can't get married in a few days, like Chad said they haven't been on a date. Chad decides to go back to the room to see if Dr. Russell has returned, and Whitney decides to go with him. Chad then jokes that if he does find his mom, maybe he'll invite her to their double wedding.
Whitney and Chad return to Eve's office, and she still isn't there. Theresa and Ethan tag along, and Theresa suggests they all begin planning the double wedding. Whitney tells Chad that once Theresa gets an idea in her mind, there is now way to change her mind. Theresa then begins fantasizing about their double wedding. Whitney tells Theresa that she is living in a fantasy world, she and Chad are not going to get married so soon. Chad can't believe that his opinion doesn't matter, but Ethan tells him that is the way it works when women talk about weddings. Ethan and Chad sit back and listen to Theresa and Whitney argue over whether there will be a double wedding. Theresa tells Whitney that once she gives her parents a grandchild, they'll get over her quick marriage. Chad tells Theresa to chill out because this fantasy has gotten way out of control. Whitney is with Chad, but tells Theresa as long as she is having this dream, could she tell her if she'll be having a boy or a girl? Later, Chad continues to wait for Eve to show up and enter her password. Whitney realizes it may be the same password her mother uses on her internet account at home, and decides to give it a try.
At the Crane mansion, Julian reads the paper with one eye covered hoping there is nothing bad in the paper. Alistair calls Julian up and asks him if he's come up with a plan to destroy Sheridan and Luis. Alistair is calling from the Crane's private skybox at Fenway Park. Julian tells Alistair that he is still working on the plan, which must be flawless, and perfection takes time. Alistair tells Julian that they don't have time, and if this family goes down, it will be his fault! Alistair tells Julian that someone must die, and he must be the one to kill them! Julian tells his father that killing Luis might not be a good idea because they will be the number one suspects. Alistair tells Julian that he isn't to kill Luis, he is to kill Sheridan! AListair burns Sheridan's picture and says that she must die in order for their family to survive. Julian asks his father if he is serious, and Alistair is. Julian isn't sure he could kill his own sister. Alistair tells Julian that if he wants to be heir than he'll do it. Alistair tells him not only to kill Sheridan, but to kill Luis as well!
At the cottage, Sheridan is shocked when she returns from the kitchen to find Luis is gone. SHeridan wonders how she will ever live without him. Luis returns, with a rose, and says she'll never have to know the answer to that question because he'll be by her side forever. Sheridan asks Luis where he went? Luis says he went to get her this rose to show her how much he loves her. He tells her that this flower is like their love, it came from a plant that survived the cold winter to blossom just like their love. Luis swears to Sheridan that nothing will ever keep them apart.
TC asks Eve, who has fainted, if she is okay? Eve is trapped in her nightmare about appearing on Jerry. Eve doesn't respond, and TC screams for a doctor. Eve murmurs that she is sorry, so sorry. Meanwhile, Whitney enters her mom's internet password in the computer, and the DNA results begin to download. Unfortunately, the results are very complicated and they can't understand them. Suddenly, a nurse comes to get Whitney about her mother's fainting spell. Chad and Whitney go to Eve and TC, and Eve comes too, still apologizing. However, she soon realizes where she is, and says she only fainted because she didn't eat. Eve eventually goes with a fellow doctor to be examined, and TC tells Sam, who has shown up, that Eve kept saying Julian's name when she was out cold. TC says that she was watching some talk show when she fainted, so CHad looks it up and finds out it must have been the Larry Winger show, and today's topic was women with secrets and how they destroyed their families. TC begins to wonder. Later, Chad and Whitney take a walk, and when Sam suggest they are a nice couple, TC says that Chad and Whitney are only friends, and there could be a possibility that Julian is Chad's son. Sam says if it turned out that Chad was Julian's son, who could his mother be? TC begins to remember all the odd situations he found Eve and Julian in, and he realizes that Eve could be Chad's mother.
Eve gets a checkup, and Father Lonigan checks on Eve to see how she is doing. Eve tells Father Lonigan about her fears that she might be Chad's mother. Father Longian tells her to calm down because she doesn't know anything for certain yet, but Eve says if she is right her past will destroy those she loves. Father Lonigan tells Eve that if she thinks there is a chance, then she should tell her family the truth. Still, Eve says it might not be true, and then she would have hurt everyone for nothing. Father Lonigan tells her that she must get rid of this secret or it will destroy her and her marriage just like a secret has destroyed Sam and Grace. Father Lonigan then preaches about a great evil to Eve.
Later, Eve runs into Ivy, and the two begin arguing. As they are arguing, a nurse tells Eve that the lab called and they wanted to know if she had determined Chad's paternity. Ivy tells Eve that it is no wonder she had a dizzy spell, she is finally realizing that Chad could be her son! Ivy then torments Eve and wonders what her family will think of her. Ivy says they are more alike than she thinks, but at least she loved Sam. Eve says she loved Julian, which prompts Ivy to say "You can't be serious!" When she realizes Eve is serious, Ivy asks what she ever loved? Eve says he changed, but Ivy says nobody can change that much.
At the mansion, Julian is in shock from his father's order to kill Luis and Sheridan. After regaining his composure, he reaches into his desk drawer and pulls out his gun.
At the cottage, Luis swears to Sheridan that nothing will come between them. Sheridan soon realizes that if Julian and Alistair caused his father's disappearance, then they could do the same to him. Luis tells her not to worry, because he won't let them. Meanwhile, a sneaking Julian shows up at the cottage. However, Julian realizes he can't kill his own sister, and he decides to try and talk some sense into his sister. However, he overhears Sheridan vow that if something ever happened to him, she'd never to stop until she proves her brother and father were behind it. After Julian leaves, Sheridan and Luis make love.
Julian goes to the book cafe, and asks the man working there for a book on a murder mystery. Julian says the book was recommended by a friend, and the killer gets away with his crime, and it may be based on a real case. The guy working there suggests an anthology on murders committed this century, which he says is almost like a how to manual for committing the perfect murder. As Julian is waiting for the clerk to return with his book, Ethan shows up. As Ethan talks to Julian, the clerk returns with the books Julian requested! Julian grabs the books and quickly hides them from Ethan's view. Ethan is shocked that Julian is reading a book, and Julian tells Ethan to stop meddling in Crane family matters. Ethan becomes worried about Sheridan, and decides to go check on her.
Miguel and Kay search the mine and find no trace of Hecuba, so they think they destroyed her. However, Miguel still refuses to leave without Charity. Kay suggests to Miguel that the light may have destroyed Charity along with Hecuba, if it thought she was evil. Miguel says that would never happen because the box would know that there is no one alive more beautiful and good than she is. He quickly apologizes to Kay for saying that, and says she is great as well. Miguel then thinks perhaps Charity has already escaped, and may be home waiting for them.
Kay and Miguel return to the Bennett's, but Charity is nowhere to be found. Miguel begins to fear that he may have actually lost CHarity.
At the hospital, Chad and Whitney wait around to see how Eve is. Whitney tells Chad that he is great, and she doesn't know why it took her so long to realize that. Chad tells her that she was just scared. Whitney says that he is the best thing to happen to her. Later, Chad dreams that maybe his parents will be really great people that her parents will get along with.
Elsewhere, Sam thinks TC is crazy for thinking Eve and Julian are Chad's parents. He says that his imagination is just running wild, but TC isn't so sure, he think it is very possible. Suddenly, TC realizes how this would effect the girls, because Chad is too close for comfort!
TC shows up to make sure Chad and Whitney aren't doing anything which could be possibly illegal in most states. TC begins questioning them about how tight they are. Chad asks TC if he has a problem with he and Whitney being friends. TC says he has no problem with them being friends, as long as they aren't dating. Whitney says they aren't, which TC says is good. TC walks off, and Chad wonders what that was about? Whitney thinks that her dad is just concerned about her career. Whitney claims she didn't exactly lie to her father, they haven't really gone on a date, just yet. Chad asks Whitney if he can hold her hand while they wait, and she says yes. They then talk about their feelings when they first met, and how Whitney couldn't stand Chad. Chad says back then he never dreamed that they'd be where they are today. Chad then worries how TC will react when he learns how they really feel about one another. Whitney tells him not to think about that right now. Chad says he has a lot more to worry about right now, like his parents identities. When Chad says he is scared, Whitney says she will stand by him. Whitney then suggests they head back to the research room.
TC goes back to Sam, who continues to try and knock some sense into TC's head. TC tells Sam about all the odd conversations and situations he's caught Eve and Julian engaged in. TC says it is looking more and more like Chad is Eve and Julian's son. Sam thinks TC is wrong, because Eve would have told her if she had a child before she met him. TC says not if it was with Julian Crane. Sam says that Julian has taken enough of TC's life already, so he should let him take even more of it. Still, TC says he won't stop thinking about this until he knows the truth. Sam asks him what he's going to do, barge into the exam room and demand the truth? TC says he doesn't know what he's going to do, but if he's not wrong about this, than god help them all.
Ivy tells Eve that this is very ironic, Julian has lost one son, only to gain another. Ivy wonders how TC will feel when he learns the truth, that she not only slept with Julian, but had a son with him. Suddenly, someone walks into the room, and Ivy panics when she realizes the person overheard. The person is Grace, who tells Ivy to wipe that smug smile off her face because she already knows everything. Grace tells Ivy how cruel she is to torture Eve, but Ivy tells Grace she may not feel above it all if she knew the complete story! Grace asks Eve what she is talking about? Ivy tells Grace to relax, it was just a hypothetical question. Ivy then tells Grace that she is sick of her blaming her for all her problems. Grace does blame Ivy, but Ivy says that doesn't give her the right to go around putting curses on people! Grace tells Ivy to stay away from her husband, but Ivy says she is surprised she is even referring to Sam as her husband. When Grace exclaims "You . . . " Ivy tells Saint Grace not to use such words, but then says she really isn't saintly at all for turning her back on a man like Sam. As they argue, Eve tells them both to stop this because it isn't getting them anywhere. Grace tells Eve that she needs to tell TC the truth, but Ivy thinks it is best that Eve keep her mouth shut. Grace once again begins her lecture on secrets, and what can do. Ivy poo poos GRace's warnings of evil. Grace calls Ivy a fool and tells her that evil will strike her when she least expects it! Eve eventually decides to tell TC the truth. Suddenly, Sam and TC walk in. TC asks Eve what the deal with Chad is, who are his parents? Eve says they will learn soon enough, but TC demands they go find out the truth right now!
At the Book Cafe, Ethan wonders why Julian would warn him that he was to blame if anything happened to Sheridan and Luis. Theresa tells Ethan that she thinks Julian is just angry that he isn't his son anymore, and he didn't know what he was saying. Ethan says that Julian never says anything he doesn't mean, and he says he should check up on Sheridan. After Ethan and Theresa leave, Julian searches for a humane way to kill Sheridan and Luis. He begins to daydream of ways to kill Sheridan and Luis, and contemplates poison as well as tampering with Sheridan and Luis' breaks. Later, Julian is caught by Father Lonigan, who tells Julian to reconsider the evil he is contemplating or else his soul will be damned forever!
At the cottage, Luis tells Sheridan that Julian and Alistair can't hurt them, but Sheridan disagrees. Ethan and Theresa show up to check on Luis and Sheridan. Ethan tells Sheridan about his run-in with Julian, and how he is still fuming over Sheridan and Luis getting into the vault. Luis and Sheridan explain how they got caught when they confronted Julian over the shredding a file on his father. Ethan asks what he thinks they were trying to cover up? Luis responds "murder!" Ethan suggests that Luis has it wrong, because the Cranes are just paranoid about anyone knowing anything about their business. Luis thinks that Ethan is still a Crane, and Ethan says he is on their side, but it will take time for him to stop thinking like a Crane. He also doesn't think that AListair and Julian would go as far as killing someone. Luis and Ethan begin to argue, but Sheridan puts and end to it. Theresa changes the subject to her and Ethan's upcoming wedding. As they talk about it, Theresa tells Luis about her fantasy that Papa or Antonio will hear about the wedding and come home. Luis says it is a nice fantasy, but anything could happen. Meanwhile, Julian arrives at the mansion with his book on murder, and pauses as he looks at the cottage. Sheridan ends up looking out her window, and prays that Julian will leave both her and Luis alone.
In the research room, Chad tells Whitney that he'll finally be able to stop focusing on the past, and concentrate on his future, on their future. Suddenly, Chad gets a chill, and wonders if finding out the truth could cause problems between them. Whitney wonders why Chad would think such a thing. Chad says he just doesn't know, and decides to go delete the DNA results. Whitney asks him if he doesn't want to know about his parents? Chad tells Whitney that he doesn't want to know if they will come between them. Whitney is touched that she means so much to him, but she won't let him do this. She says that they have come a long way, but they still have a long way to go. Chad tells Whitney that she may have doubts, but he knows this is the real thing. Whitney says this is all new to her and she wants to take it slow. Chad says that sounds fine with him. Whitney tells Chad that she's just not at that stage where she's willing to drop everything for a man. Chad thinks he knows a way to help her get there. He shuts the door, and the two kiss. Suddenly, Eve and TC show up, but don't catch them in any compromising position. Whitney says they have already downloaded the results, but they can't understand them. TC says that Eve will interpret them. Eve looks at the results, and Chad says he feels like his life is about to change. TC says all there lives may be about to change.
At the Hotckiss mansion, Gwen walks into her mom's bedroom, her mom is in the bathroom. Rebecca says she be right out. Gwen sees Rebecca's dress and thinks her mom snapped and killed either Theresa or Ivy. Rebecca comes out of the bathroom, after showering, and is shocked when she realizes Gwen thinks her dress is covered in blood. Rebecca tells her daughter that is paint Ivy dumped on her dress, and she vows revenge. Gwen thinks her mom should have waited till Ivy and Julian divorced before she started moving in. Rebecca says that Ivy will get hers, as will Theresa on her wedding day to Ethan. Rebecca says that for her plan to work, she needs to know if Ethan and Theresa have set a wedding date. Gwen tells her mom to leave that to her, Sheridan will know if anyone does.
At the cottage, Ethan tells Luis and Sheridan that Julian and Alistair obviously have something to hide, and if it means keeping the two of them apart to keep their secret, they'll do it. Meanwhile, Julian arrives at the mansion with his books, and says that Luis and Sheridan must both die. Back in the cabin, Theresa is relieved that Julian and Alistair will make trouble for her and Ethan, but then she realizes Sheridan is worried about her own relationship with Luis. Luis says nothing will come between him and Sheridan, unless they kill him. Sheridan tells Luis not to say that! She says that he may not think Julian is up to anything, but Julian has been outside watching them for sometime. Luis rushes outside, but Julian is long gone. Luis thinks Sheridan must have imagined it. Ethan says that Julian may see them as a threat, but he doubts Julian is stalking them. Luis tells Sheridan enough about Julian, and they go for a walk.
On their walk, a still worried Sheridan tells Luis she could have the confidence about them that Theresa does about her relationship with Ethan. Luis says that Theresa is a romantic, and believes that when two people are meant to be, they will marry and stay married. Sheridan says you can't just jump into marriage. Luis says that it is a commitment which must be considered. Luis says that some people rush into marriage, and uses Beth as an example. Luis says Beth wanted to marry him after highschool, but Luis says that he claimed he couldn't because of his family, but in the back of his mind he felt that his soulmate was still out there. Sheridan says she doesn't want to rush into a marriage after Jean-Luc, but she says there is such a thing as waiting too long. Both Luis and Sheridan privately wonder if they are soul mates.
Back at the cottage, as Theresa starts talking about Luis and Sheridan, Ethan wonders if Theresa is now thinking about a triple wedding. Theresa is, but Ethan refuses to get involved in this one. Gwen shows up to see Sheridan, but learns Ethan and Theresa are inside. She decides to use the opportunity to find out if they have set a wedding date yet. Ethan says no, but it will be soon. Gwen says she and her mom can't wait for the wedding, but Theresa says that she and Ethan have decided to have a small wedding for close friends and family. Gwen says that she and Ethan are very close, and Ethan says they can make an exception for them. Theresa agrees, and says they are totally invited to the wedding. Gwen tells them that she knows exactly what to get them as a wedding gift, and that it will totally blow them away!
Back at the mansion, Alistair calls Julian and demands to know how he plans to get rid of Sheridan and Luis. Julian refuses to kill his sister and says there must be some other way out of this. Alistair says there isn't, Sheridan and Luis must be stopped. Julian says killing them is extreme, but Alistair says they have no choice. Julian says Sheridan has had bad luck with men in the past, perhaps she'll dump him. Alistair says that won't happen and order Julian to start planning a double murder! Alistair tells Julian that buying that book was a smart move, and he better hope that someone doesn't testify against him that he was researching the subject. Alistair asks if the book gave him any ideas? Julian says a book can't make one a murderer. Alistair suggests he go on the internet then, because evil abounds on it. Later, Rebecca shows up and asks Julian why he looks like he has been handed a death sentence? Julian says he has something on his mind which he doesn't want to do, but he has no choice. Rebecca understands that family must come first, and she tells him not to worry because it isn't like he's going to kill someone. Rebecca offers to help him, but he says he must do this alone.
