Luis calms a panicky Sheridan as the oxygen level continues to drop in the airtight vault. Luis and Sheridan find the pump that is sucking out the oxygen, and Luis attempts to disable it. While pulling out wires, Luis is electrocuted, thanks to Evil Charity! Later, Luis sees Sheridan crying over his body, and he thinks he is dead. Luis refuses to leave Sheridan, and begins to feel a tingling sensation. Grace warns Eve her life will be torn apart if she doesn't tell TC about her past with Julian. Eve resigns herself to come clean with her husband. Eve finally decides to come clean with TC and tell him the truth after Grace makes her believe that TC will learn the truth one way or another. Meanwhile, after Julian accidentally knocks TC down, TC becomes enraged and attacks his longtime enemy. TC's hatred is augmented by Evil Charity as he pummels Julian and then strangles him. Chad, Whitney, Eve and Grace are horrified when they come upon the scene. Chad pulls TC away from Julian. An angry Julian makes a racial comment about TC, calling him a crazy black bastard, but freezes when he locks eyes with Chad and realizes his rescuer is black. Eve and Grace show up and see the fight, and Eve vows never to tell TC the truth. Later, Julian tries to reward Chad, but Chad refuses to take any of his money because he's a bigot. After Julian leaves, Chad realizes who his father is. In the mine shaft, Miguel and Kay watch helplessly as they realize Evil Charity is driving TC to kill Julian. Evil Charity is vexed when she learns someone has interferred with her plan. She turns her attention to a couple in love and announces she will bring death to Luis. Miguel is stunned. Kay insists they must destroy Charity. Miguel refuses, but Kay says they have no choice, and she knocks Charity out. Miguel rushes to Charity, who quickly transforms into Hecuba! Miguel can't believe it, and realizes this is the woman he was chocking. Hecuba introduces herself as the queen of evil, and Miguel recalls that Reese told him evil could be killed in its lair.
At the hospital, Grace and Eve listen as TC swears he would kill Julian if he had the proof that Julian hurt his family, and nobody would blame him. Grace tells Eve to tell TC the truth now, because there is no telling what he'd do if he heard it from someone else. TC decides to leave, and Eve is worried he's going after Julian again. TC says he's not, and hopefully he'll never run into him again because nobody in his family could be involved with Julian Crane. TC leaves, and Eve tells Grace that this is why she can't tell TC the truth. Eve asks God to forgive her because she is glad that child is dead. Grace says she doesn't mean that, but Eve says if her child was alive and came back to find her, her family would never look at her the same way again. Grace says that is exactly how she feels right now, and that is why she has to tell TC the truth!
Meanwhile, Chad tells Whitney that he believes Julian Crane could be his father. Whitney says that is inconceivable, but Chad says that Crystal described Julian to a T when she described his father. Chad says if Julian Crane is his father, there is no way getting around it. TC overhears this and is furious. TC tells Chad that if Julian Crane is his father, he wants him out of his house and away from his family, because he is evil just like Julian Crane! Eve comes running when she hears TC yelling and asks if everything is all right? TC says no it isn't, Chad thinks Julian could be his father. Eve begins to think of her own child, and Grace asks Eve if it is possible that Chad could be her son? Eve said there is no way Chad could be her son, her son is dead. TC asks Eve why she is so upset? Is it because Julian is Chad's father? Chad says all he said is that he could be his father. Whitney doesn't even know why Chad said it, but Chad says that he's going to have to face up to the truth sooner or later. Whitney refuses to believe he could be a Crane, and Eve agrees. TC apologizes for loosing it, and they should all hope that Chad isn't Julian's son. Chad and Whitney continue waiting for the computer to finish it's search, and they both can't believe how TC reacted. Chad says he'd know if he was a Crane, because he'd be one mean SOB. However, Chad asks Whitney what would happen if he turned out to be Julian's son, would her father let him near her. Whitney says it doesn't matter because that won't happen.
Elsewhere, Grace continues to push Eve into thinking that perhaps her son could be alive, and it could be Chad. Eve asks why the doctors would lie to her? Grace says maybe they just made a mistake?
Alistair calls Julian and asks him to please try and stay alive, what was with that fight between him and TC about? Julian doesn't know, but thinks there is something familiar about Chad. Alistair asks him why he got into a fight with Julian? Julian says it wasn't his fault, he accidentally knocked TC down and then started swearing at him for killing his father! Suddenly, Alistair's computer flashes, and he learns there is a short circuit in the Archive's. AListair orders Julian to get over to the archives and see what is going on.
In the mine, Hecuba straps Kay and Miguel to a table as a pendulum swings over them, getting closer with every pass! Kay can't believe she is going to kill them, but Hecuba points out that she is going to slice them both up bit by miserable bit. Kay begs Hecuba to let Miguel go, she'll do whatever she wants. Miguel refuses to leave without her or Kay, but Kay tells him not to worry about her, the world won't miss her when she is gone. Hecuba tells Kay that her speech is way too little, and much too late. Hecuba tells Kay that she had her chance, and now she doesn't need her anymore. Hecuba says not only does she get to watch Charity die, as well as them, but she has another two fools in her cave waiting to be executed! Hecuba tells them that she'll see them before lights out, and vanishes. Kay has given up, and says she's going to burn in hell while he goes to heaven. Miguel refuses to give up and believes they will be rescued. Kay says even if someone does figure out where they are, they'll never get to them in time to save them. Miguel refuses to let them die, and does his best to break out of the ropes that bind them.
In Hecuba's lair, Tabitha and Timmy continue to watch the unfolding drama on the magic mirror. Tabitha grabs Timmy and decides to find a way out of Hecuba's lair, but Hecuba returns. Hecuba is furious with Tabitha and Timmy for thinking Charity and Miguel's love could destroy her, and when they are all gone, she will rule the earth! Hecuba then begins shooting bolts of lighting everywhere. Timmy bravos Hecuba and tells her how good she is. Hecuba says there is none better, never has been, and never will be. Timmy tells Hecuba that Tabitha couldn't hold a candle to her. Tabitha is shocked and asks how he could turn on her like this, after everything she has done to her. Timmy says that is ancient history, and that Hecuba is obviously the genius around here. Hecuba likes Timmy and says she needs a good groupie, and Timmy could be hers. Timmy says he would be honored, she is his true mentor and idle. Tabitha feels like she has been stabbed in the heart, and says "Et tu Timmy!" Timmy starts kissing major butt, and asks her all sorts of questions about how she does this and that. Tabitha asks Timmy how he could do this to her after all the good times they've had together? Timmy says the goodtimes haven't been rolling recently, and he needs the kind of adventure that Hecuba can give him. Hecuba tells Timmy that she will show him things he's never seen before. Tabitha refuses to listen to this, and decides to leave and let him suck-up to his new best friend. Hecuba says that she's not going anywhere, she's going to kill her and Timmy will record it for her! Tabitha tells Timmy that he may not realize it now, but he will miss her. Timmy laughs, and remembers all the crap she's put him through. Hecuba tells Tabitha that Timmy deserves better, and Timmy says he'll be sticking with Hecuba, the one true queen, from now on. Hecuba decides to kill Tabitha, but Timmy tells Hecuba to kill her slowly and make it fun to watch. Hecuba thinks up a most painful death, simmering agony! Hecuba ties Tabitha up to a stake, and Tabitha exclaims "Why Timmy, why!"
Tabitha continues to stew over Timmy's betrayal as she sits tied to a post in a large cooking pot. As the water begins to heat up, Tabitha begs Timmy to help her. Timmy insists on sticking to his new alliance with Hecuba. Timmy notices that the flames aren't very large, so he suggests to Hecuba that she create a door so the flames can get some air. Hecuba thinks Timmy is a genius, and blasts a hole in the side of her cave. The flames rise, and Timmy admires Hecuba's work. Hecuba then asks Timmy where her Martimmy is? Timmy says he'll go get the ingredients right now, but Hecuba says she can conjur them up. However, Timmy convinces Hecuba to let him leave the cave for martimmy ingredients. Hecuba soon falls asleep waiting for Timmy to return.
Meanwhile, the blades of the pendulum swing closer and closer to Kay and Miguel. Miguel urges Kay to believe the power of love will save them. Kay, however, feels it is hopeless. Suddenly, Timmy quietly arrives with a mysterious plan. Timmy unties the ropes binding Miguel, and Miguel manages to save himself and Kay just in the nick of time. Kay wants to leave, but Miguel says he can't leave until he saves Charity and destroys Hecuba. Kay tells Miguel that they don't have the power to destroy Hecuba. Miguel, however, knows of something that can help them destroy her, and he plans on using it.
Timmy returns to Hecuba's cave, and finds Hecuba is still sleeping. Tabitha saw what Timmy did on the mirror and says she should have known he wouldn't forsake her. Timmy says he had to save Miguel, because only Miguel could save Charity and only Charity can rid them of Hecuba. Tabitha asks Timmy to untie her before Hecuba wakes up, and ask he's trying to free her, he falls into the pot with her! Timmy regains his balance, and once again tries to free Tabitha.
Eve freaks as Grace theorizes how Chad could be Eve and Julian's son. Eve insists her baby died right after birth, but is rattled when she recalls having a strange feeling when she first laid eyes on Chad. Eve begins to fear she will be revealed as Chad's mother when the DNA match results come in.
Meanwhile, Chad speculates about his parents as he and Whitney wait for the computer to bring up the test results. Whitney encourages Chad to be optimistic. Chad isn't, and says he doesn't know how his parents would react to him. Whitney says even if his father is a horrible person, his mother must have been sweet because he is. Still, Chad wonders how his mom would react to him, if she is successful and has a new family, his reappearance could screw her life up. Whitney doubts that, and she even offers to go see his mother for him to smooth make sure she wants to meet him. Chad is touched that she would do that for him.
Eve comes out to see Chad and Whitney, and she claims she was filling out some paperwork and doesn't know Chad's birthday. Chad doesn't know himself, but says he always celebrated it around August 14th. Eve returns to Grace and tells her that Chad couldn't be her son, because his birthday is nowhere near her son's. Grace points out that CHad might not know his real birthday. Eve says Chad just can't be her son because it would be a disaster. When Grace asks why, Eve replies "Because Whitney's fallen in love with him." Meanwhile, Chad and Whitney share a kiss just as the computer finishes the DNA search!
Sheridan is anxious to leave the Crane vault before the security guards show up, but Luis desperately tries to remember what he saw during his out-of-body experience. Luis nearly finds the file on his father, but the two are forced to hide when Julian and the guards arrive. Julian, ever the coward, forces the guards to go in before he does in case someone is still in the vault. As they look around, Sheridan and Luis manage to sneak out. They learns that someone was trapped in the vault when Julian sealed it earlier, and triggered the sprinklers to open the door. AListair calls Julian to berate him, and he asks him if Sheridan's mother's diaries are still there? Julian finds that they are missing, and Alistair says that means Luis and Sheridan were in here. He makes Julian check on the file on Martin Fitzgerald, which is still there. Alistair tells Julian that he knows what he has to do with that file.
Back at the cottage, Luis and Sheridan go through her mother's diaries, and they discover that pages have been cut out. As Luis recalls his out of body experience, he suddenly remembers what he saw in the Crane Archives that was so important.
At the mansion, Ivy catches Pilar calling home and leaving a message for Miguel to call him. Ivy asks Pilar what is wrong? Pilar says her son is missing, and she's afraid he's gone out to fight the evil which is threatening to destroy Harmony. Ivy says she doesn't know anything about spiritual evil, but she will do anything she can to help her. Pilar thanks her, but says there isn't much she can do right now. Ivy tells Pilar to call her if she can help, she has to go to the hospital for a board meeting. Pilar doesn't think that is wise because she is still the talk of the town, but Ivy says she is still Mrs. Julian Crane. Ivy then fills Pilar in on how Rebecca is trying to steal that title from her, and orders Pilar not to let Rebecca into this house. Outside the mansion, Rebecca arrives with decorators and orders them to destroy all of Ivy's hedges, they must all come down! Rebecca then walks into the mansion, and right into Pilar and Ivy! Ivy ask Rebecca what she wants here, aside from her husband! Rebecca says she has come her to redecorate and fumigate. Ivy and Rebecca exchange nasty insults, and Ivy ends up threatening to throw Rebecca out like the trash she is. Rebecca tells her to just try it! Rebecca orders the decorators to get to work, which infuriates Ivy. Pilar cautions Ivy not to do anything rash, because if Mr. Crane throws her out, she'll have no where to go. Meanwhile, Rebecca tells her decorators that she wants to turn this entire house into a temple of luv! The decorators and Rebecca settle on a crimson red cover, which Rebecca thinks is both provocative and sexy, something Ivy hasn't been for years. Ivy becomes so furious that she ends up dumping the can of paint all over Rebecca! Ivy then asks Pilar to see Rebecca out before she ruins her home any further! Rebcca tells Pilar that when the truth finally comes out, Ivy will no longer be her friend, and they will both pay! After Rebecca is shown out, Pilar worries about Rebecca's comment. Ivy says that Rebecca is just jealous of their friendship, and that soon they will be more than friends, they will be family.
In the mines, Miguel tells Kay that they must hurry and find the one thing that will destroy Hecuba before she can destroy them. Kay asks him what this thing is? Miguel says the magic box, that is the only thing that can destroy Hecuba. Miguel tells Kay that she should save herself, but she refuses to leave him, and they search for the box. Miguel eventually finds the box, and they dig it out. Miguel says they can use the box to destroy Hecuba, and then they can save Charity.
In Hecuba's lair, Tabitha appologizes to Timmy as he works to untie her. However, Hecuba wakes up, and Timmy quickly runs to her. Hecuba asks Timmy why he is all wet? Timmy claims Tabitha splashed him when he refused to free her. Timmy runs to make Hecuba's Martimmy as Hecuba begins to wonder how Miguel and Kay are doing. Hecuba thinks that they are probably dead, so she can just sit back and watch Tabitha slowly simmer. Hecuba asks Timmy to put another log on the fire, which he does. Hecuba asks her �girlfiend� what is wrong, can't she take the heat? Timmy suggests to Hecuba that she change into something more regal, more befitting a queen. Hecuba likes the way Timmy thinks, and runs off to change. Timmy once again attempts to untie Tabitha, but he then sees that Miguel and Kay have found the box. Tabitha says this is not a good thing, because not only will the box destroy Hecuba, but them as well! Hecuba returns in a Queen Elizabethan like outfit, and asks Tim-Tim for a special Martimmy. Timmy brings her a Martimmy, and she promises him that he'll be living the high life as long as he knows his place. Hecuba loves her Martimmy, and goes to the kitchen to see if she can find some caviar. Timmy once again tries to free Tabitha, and manages to loosen the ropes. Unfortunately, Hecuba returns and call Timmy a traitor! Hecuba ties Timmy up with Tabitha in the pot. Tabitha tells Timmy if he can get free to save himself, but Timmy says they are in this till the end. Hecuba then sees that Kay and Miguel aren't dead, and realizes she will be if they get that box open!
Back in the mine, Miguel and Kay open the box, and then run and hide. Back in Hecuba's lair, Hecuba has no plans to stick around and die, and decides to flee. Unfortunately, as she is going, the light from the box hits her!
At the cottage, Luis tells Sheridan that he saw a file on his father while he was floating above his body. Luis says he has to get that file! Sheridan tells him to calm down, there might not be anything in there because the Cranes keep files on all there employees. Luis says those types of files are kept in drawers, not in vaults! Luis is positive that file holds secrets, and he has to see what is in it. Sheridan tells Luis she wants to get to the truth as much as he does, but they have no way back into the vault. Luis says there has to be a way back in, so Sheridan says she's going with him if he's going. Before they can leave, Ethan calls and asks Sheridan how it went. Sheridan fills Ethan in what they've discovered, and how they got locked in. Ethan makes Sheridan promise him to be careful, otherwise she will be ousted from the family. Sheridan says that is a risk she's willing to take. Sheridan says she has to go, and she'll talk to him later.
At the vault, Julian tells his father not to worry, he knows exactly what to do with the file. Suddenly, Luis and Sheridan arrive, and Luis demands he hand over the file on his father. Julian laughs and says Crane Industries wouldn't have a file on him in his padre locked up in here with their important papers. Sheridan tells him not to waste time with Julian and get the file. Luis goes looking for the file, but it is gone. Luis demands Julian tell him what he did with the file por he'll rearange his face! Julian threatens to sue him for every paso his family has, strip him of his badge, and see he ends up in jail where he is sure to become very popular! Julian then threatens to cut Sheridan off just like Ethan for her betrayal. Sheridan says their family does nothing but destroy people's lives, and they get into a huge arguement. Sheridan lets Julian know she has the diaries, and she wants to know what he and father are trying to hide. Suddenly, Sheridan hears a sound and asks what it is? Luis and Sheridan follow the sound, and find that Julian has had the file shreaded! Luis asks Julian what really happened to his father? Julian tells Luis that he'll tell him exactly what happened to his father! Julian says they fired him, that is all. Luis is tired of his same old lies and knows that he shredded the file because he was afraid that he would find out what was in it. Luis is positive that he is behind his father's disappearance. Sheridan tells Julian that he has just destroyed any credibility he and father had left, and she's through defending this family! Sheridan announces that she will do whatever it takes to help Luis find out the truth! Julian tells himself that they have just signed their own death warrant.
Grace and Eve continue to discuss the possibility that Chad could be Eve's son, which would be a disaster since Whitney has fallen in love with him. Grace urges Eve once again to tell TC the truth, but Eve refuses. Meanwhile, Whitney and Chad continue their kiss. After their liplock is finished, they hear the computer beeping. They go to the computer and learn the search is complete! Unfortunately, to get the results, they need Eve's password. Whitney says she'll call her mom and get it. Back in the exam room, Eve gets Whitney's message, and leaves to see Whitney. After she leaves, Sam shows up to see Grace, who is still giving him the cold shoulder. Sam brings Grace daffodils, her favorite flowers, but she still remains cold. Sam apologizes to Grace, but Grace says sorry can't bring their baby back or erase his lies. Sam says what he did was wrong and stupid, but they have to try and talk and move past this for the sake of their marriage. Grace tells Sam that she really doesn't care what happens to their marriage. Sam tells her that she can't mean that, what about their children? Grace says what about the child they lost? Sam begs Grace to find a way to get past all of this, but Grace says she doesn't know if she can, and she doesn't want to talk about this. Grace asks him if there is any news on Charity, but Sam says no. Sam leaves to check with the station, and on the way out, runs into Ivy, who begs him once again to do something about Ethan. Sam tells Ivy to stay away from him, but Ivy refuses until she bridges the gap between him and Ethan. Sam says that Ethan hates his guts, so there is no way that bridge will be gapped. Ivy begs Sam to just make an effort, Ethan will respond. She tells Sam not to let Ethan go like she let him go. Ivy talks to Sam about how that was the biggest mistake of her life, and she wonders if he ever thinks about the love they shared. She doubts that he and Grace could have shared the passion that they did, nothing could compare to it.
Father Lonigan stops in to visit Grace, and tells her that he feels that Miguel's love for Charity will save her. Father Lonigan smells the flowers, and assumes they were Sam's doing. Father Lonigan asks Grace how things are between her and Sam? Grace says they aren't good. Father Lonigan councils Grace and tells her that Sam deserves to be forgiven. Grace just doesn't know if she can do that. Father Lonigan wants to help Grace, but Grace doubts he can help her. Father Lonigan wants to help her to try and realize the good woman she once was, and to find her faith again. As they leave the room, Grace and Father Lonigan walk in on Sam and Ivy's discussion about their love! Ivy asks Sam if he ever thinks about the passions they shared the night Ethan was conceived, and if he ever experience anything like it with Grace?
Ethan and Theresa pick up their papers, and Theresa dreams about her entire family returning for their wedding. She wants so badly for her father to be there, and she wishes she had a relationship with her father. Ethan knows what Theresa is trying to do, but he refuses to have anything to do with Sam. Ethan says Sam will never be his father.
Eve goes to her office and finds Chad and Whitney together. They fill her in on what has happened, and Eve pauses before entering her password. Eve tells Chad they should talk first, but Chad says he already knows he may be disappointed, and he's prepared for that. Eve says there are some things one can never be prepared for. Before she can type in the password, she is paged, and runs out. Later, Ethan and Theresa show up, and Ethan asks Chad to be his best man. Chad accepts, and when Whitney and Chad share another kiss, Theresa says obviously she's been so busy she has missed some important developments! Theresa drags Whitney outside for some girl talk, and is so happy for her. They soon return to the office, where Chad wonders where Dr. Russell is.
Eve has to take care of a sick child of a single mother. The mother tells Eve that she often wonders if she did the right thing by not giving her baby up for adoption. Eve remembers worrying about covering the expenses of the child she lost, and wishes she had the opportunity this mother has to care for her baby.
In the mine, Miguel and Kay unleash the light in the box. WHen Hecuba attempts to run for it, she is struck by the light! Hecuba is levitated off the ground, and Tabitha knows that they are next. Timmy doesn't understand why they haven't been struck yet, but Tabitha doesn't really know. Timmy prays to God for protection, but the light hits them anyways. However, Timmy and Tabitha's ropes are burned through and they are freed! Tabitha tells Timmy that they need to get out of here, but Hecuba refuses to let them go anywhere. She says if she's going, they are coming with her! She makes the cauldron chase them around the room. Hecuba is eventually released from the light, and she begs Tabitha and Timmy not to leave her. Timmy asks why they should show her any mercy? Hecuba begs them not to leave her here, if the box is opened once again, she'll be killed. Hecuba says they can't let her die, but Timmy says yes they can! However, Tabitha tells Timmy that Hecuba is right, they must do something. Tabitha agrees to help Hecuba, only because by saving Hecuba they are saving themselves. Tabitha suggests Hecuba use her powers to make herself tiny enough to fit into a bottle so she can carry her out. Hecuba doesn't trust Tabitha, but doesn't have a choice but to go along with Tabitha's plan. Hecuba shrinks herself, and Tabitha places her in a bottle and then corks it! Hecuba realizes she has been tricked again. Hecuba zaps the cork, but Tabitha tells Timmy not to let her out! Timmy screams in pain as the shocks hit his hands.
Meanwhile, Kay and Miguel search for a place to hide from Hecuba, just incase she escapes the light. As they are looking for a place to hide, Charity begins to call to Miguel. Miguel finds Charity, bathed in golden light, and floating in the middle of the mineshaft. Kay cautions Miguel not to go to her, because it could be Hecuba again. Miguel believes it is Charity, and he reaches for her. Charity begins to be sucked towards the box, so Miguel decides to close it. Unfortunately, when he closes the box, Charity vanishes! Miguel decides to reopen the box, but before he can, a cave-in begins! Kay is struck by some rocks, and Miguel rushes to her. He tells her that he can't lose her too!
