At the Seascape, Eve is horrified when she finds out Julian was kissing the back of her neck. Julian grabs her and tells her that he wants her right here, right now. Eve tells Julian to let go of her, but he refuses and says he knows she wants him! Meanwhile, Sam goes to the coat closet to get Grace's jacket, and he is jumped by Ivy! At the same time, Grace approaches the closet and wonders what is going on inside. TC overhears Ivy begging Sam to kiss her, so he distracts Grace and keeps her from entering the closet. In the closet, Sam pushes Ivy off of him and tells her that she won't destroy his marriage and she should stop it before she makes an even bigger fool of herself. Sam rejoins Grace, who is with TC, and he and Grace head back to the table. TC leaves to find Eve, who has decked Julian. Julian calls Eve a wildcat and tells her that she knows how much he likes that! Eve tells Julian that their past is in the past, and it would be catastrophic if anyone were to find them together. Eve hears TC asking if anyone has seen his wife, so she tells Julian to get out of here before TC finds them together. Julian tries to escape out some doors, but they are locked. He is forced to grab a tray and hide his face behind it, acting like a waiter, to escape. Once he rounds the corner he ends up falling, causing the food to spill all over him. Later, Eve overhears Sam thank TC for saving him earlier. Eve asks what this is about? Sam tells her about the closet incident, and Eve can't believe Ivy's nerve. Eve notices Sam has lipstick on his cuff, and it is not Grace's color! Sam doesn't want Grace to be hurt, and he knows the truth about him and Ivy would hurt her greatly. Grace returns to the table, and a waiter tells them all that there is a call for them. Meanwhile, Julian and Ivy are also alerted to a call at the front desk for them. The Cranes, Bennetts, and Russells gather around the phone, and are shocked when Alastair says hello to them all. Alastair tells them all that he knows what they have been up to, and he wants to give each of them a little surprise! Ivy says she hates surprises. Alastair says that he just wants them to know that in this day of broken marriages, he respects them for having strong marriages. He tells them that he knows they all respect their vows and keep no secrets from one another, that is why their dinners are on him. Sam and TC try to refuse, but Alastair says it is taken care of. After the call. Sam thinks he and Grace should leave because the girls are leaving for their spring break ski trip tomorrow, and he wants to spend some time with them. TC and Eve decide to go home for "desert." After they all leave, Ivy wonders what Alastair was up to. Meanwhile, Whitney asks Chad to change the song, but Chad refuses because people are dancing to it. Whitney says that this song means too much to Theresa, and it will only hurt her. Chad can't believe Whitney is so sure that Theresa is making a mistake when she can't even look at her own feelings. He tells her that Theresa is following her own heart, and she should give it a try sometime. He tells her to look at how happy Theresa is, and asks if she ever had that look of happiness? Whitney says she has when she won a tournament last month. Chad asks her who she shared her happiness with, her father? Whitney says what is wrong with that? Chad tells her that it is completely different when your in love with someone. Whitney doesn't think Chad should preach to him when he's never been in love, but Chad says that he knows there is a woman for him out there somewhere. Whitney asks him how he knows he will find this woman? Chad says he'll find her because he's willing to take a chance and leave his heart open. However, Whitney says she's never going to love Chad, it just won't happen. Whitney changes the subject and tells Theresa that she's not trying very hard to get over Ethan. Theresa says tonight doesn't count, and she swears she won't let herself dream about Ethan. Theresa goes to bed repeating over and over "I won't dream about Ethan." However, she does dream of Ethan. CHad tells Ethan he's sure he'll be happy. Ethan asks him if he's found anyone special, like Whitney Russell perhaps? Chad asks why he would think that? Ethan says he's seen them talking together, and Whitney is a knock-out. Chad says he and Whitney are from two completely different planets. Ethan doesn't see why that would stop him from feeling anything for her. Chad says that when you come from different worlds, it makes it harder for a relationship to get started, he should know that better than anyone. Ethan says even though he and Gwen have a lot in common, they have had their ups and downs. He says recently Gwen was jealous of another woman and thought he and this woman were more than friends, but she realized that she was wrong and they worked things out. When the game hits half-time, Ethan and Chad decide to go to the supermarket down the road for beer and chips.

She tells him about her visit to Eve Russell's, and the reaction she had to the mere mention of the word bird! Ivy says she hasn't figured that out yet. Julian tells her not to waste any time, he never leaves ends untied, and he doubts a smart woman like Eve Russell would either because it would blow her family to Kingdom Come. Ivy tells Julian that she knows he is lying about the statue, and she will find that bloody bird! Julian tells her to search high and low, but there is no bird! Ivy reminds him of the phoenix, if that bird could rise from the ashes, why can't his? Ivy leaves, and Julian thanks God that Eve destroyed that statue. TC sees how upset Eve looks, and he asks her what is wrong? Eve says nothing is wrong, she just thought the puzzle was a box. TC says nope, that is why it is such a challenge, he's never seen anything like it before. Eve says she'd love to see it, so TC goes hunting for it. Meanwhile, Orville shows up at Eve's place to thank her for setting him up at the retirement home. He says it is a nice place, and he even met a lady friend. He notices that Eve is upset, and asks what is wrong? Eve tells her that she just learned the bird statue might still exist, and it could be in this house! Orville says it would be a shame if it wasn't destroyed, since that is the reason she burned his place down, but how would it get here? Eve doesn't know, but says if it is the same statue, and TC opens it, her life is over. TC shows up and sees Orville and says it is good to see he is out of the hospital. Orville says he came by to thank Eve for what she did for him. Eve asks where the bird is, but TC says he can't find it. Orville asks what the bird statue looks like? TC describes it to Orville, and then decides to go check Simone's bedroom for it. Once he leaves, Orville tells Eve that it sounds like his old bird. TC still can't find the bird in Simone's room, and decides to check Whitney's room. Outside, the garbage man shows up and picks up the Russell's garbage. TC doesn't find the bird in Whitney's room either, and Orville suddenly starts singing. TC asks if anything is wrong, but Eve thinks Orville is just tired. TC decides to drive Orville home, and after they leave, Julian calls Eve. He tells Eve that if Ivy tries to harrass her again, she should keep cool because that statue burned to a crisp and his wife will eventually give up on it. Eve tells Julian that she hopes he is sitting down, because they have a problem. Eve tells Julian that the bird statue may still exist, and it might be in her daughter's possession! Julian tells her to get rid of it, but Eve says she can't find it anywhere, and her daughter is away, so she can't ask her what she did with it. Julian says they don't know for certain if it is the same statue, but Eve says they can't take chances. Julian tells her to keep looking for it and tell him the minute she learns anything. At the dump, a homeless man finds the bird statue and thinks he can get some money for it.
