March 2000 Week 2

Monday

March 6
At the Bennett's, Eve is sitting by Charity's bed and can't believe that her worst nightmare is coming true. She wonders how a sleeping Charity knows her secret. She wishes Charity would stop saying these things, because nobody, especially TC, can find out the truth. Timmy and Tabitha are spying on Eve, and Timmy grows bored and wants to go home. Tabitha refuses because she feels something big and bad is going to happen very soon. Timmy still wants to leave, but when Tabitha threatens to give him to Kay, he agrees to stay.

At the Book Cafe, TC overhears Whitney telling Chad that there is no way her mom and Julian Crane are having an affair. TC is furious and he demands to know what they are talking about! Whitney says nothing, but TC knows what he heard and he smashes a vase and demands to know what in the hell they were talking about. Chad says he didn't mean anything and was just joking, which angers TC even more. Whitney asks TC to calm down, and he does. Whitney and Chad explain to TC about how Chad saw the shoes the woman Julian was with was wearing, and they are the same type as Eve's. Chad says he was just wondering "what if," but TC doesn't think it is funny at all! TC says what he did was disrespectful and scandalous, and he ought to bust him! Whitney stops her dad from doing anything to Chad, and TC tells Chad that his wife is the most honorable and trustworthy woman he knows. TC goes off on how evil the Cranes are, and how they stole his families farm. Whitney becomes terrified when TC says he'd rather see them all dead then one of them hurt a member of his family. TC storms out of the Book Cafe, and Whitney begins to remember Tabitha's prediction to her. Whitney tells Chad that she fears her dad could kill someone. Chad thinks she is crazy, but promises not to say anything to anyone when she asks him to keep this a secret. Chad takes Whitney's hands and tells her that her dad is a good guy and won't kill anyone. Still, WHitney says that her dad would do anything to protect her mom of his family.

TC goes over to the Bennetts, and Eve asks TC why he seems upset? TC says he is fine, but Eve knows he is not. TC just tells her that someone just said something stupid. Eve asks TC to tell him what is troubling him. TC tells Eve that he saw Chad and Whitney at the Book Cafe, and Chad theorized that she and Julian were at the Book Cafe last night, and they are having an affair. Eve drops her cup of tea, and a spying Tabitha tells Tim-Tim to fasten his seat belt! TC picks up the cup and asks her if she is all right? Eve says she was just startled by what he said. TC tells Eve that he knows it wasn't her with Julian last night, and Chad was just joking when he said it. Eve says it isn't funny, and TC agrees. He says that if he really thought she was with Julian Crane, he would get so angry that he doesn't want to think what he might do! Later, Eve asks TC where he got the quilt? TC tells her that Tabitha gave it to him, and he tells her the story of the quilt and his family. Eve notices a tear in the seam, and some thing is inside. Tabitha doesn't recall anything inside the blanket. TC reads the paper, which is a prediction. TC reads the prediction, which says a person who can defeat evil will come along and will see a truth which will destroy a family. TC hopes it is about the Cranes, but Tabitha knows it is TC's family.

Back upstairs, Charity continues to have naughty visions of Eve and Julian. Eve ends up hitting Julian for fun, and he realizes she wants to play rough tonight. As they go at it, Charity mumbles "No, No, No!" over and over. Charity sits up and starts screaming "Don't sleep with Julian Dr. Russel!" Downstairs, Eve and TC hear Charity, and TC is shocked by what he is hearing!

Back at the Book Cafe, Ethan tells Theresa that she heard wrong, there will never be a relationship between a Crane and a Lopez-Fitzgerald. Theresa is devastated by Ethan's statement. Ethan tells Theresa to drop the whole thing, so she walks away. However, he goes after her and apologizes for speaking harshly to her because he is just upset about his aunt Sheridan. Theresa says she is sorry because she knows he cares about her. Ethan says he just wants her to be happy, and Theresa says she does to, and so does Luis. Theresa says Luis is a caring guy, which prompts Ethan to say that she is his sister and he expected her to say that. Theresa asks if he is upset with Luis, did he upset Sheridan? Ethan tells her that he doesn't want to go into it because he doesn't want it to affect their relationship. Ethan tells Theresa that he cares about her, and if it hadn't been for her, he and Gwen might not be getting married. As Ethan talks about Gwen, he notices that Theresa is reading a book about Cinderella. He remembers when they saw the play, and when he told her that two people from two backgrounds could overcome the obstacles between them and find true love. He says he doesn't know what he was thinking that night, because he doesn't think he believes it anymore. He even says that perhaps his father and grandfather were right after all, people should stick to their own kind. Theresa tells Ethan that if two people love one another it shouldn't matter if they come from different backgrounds. Ethan says it shouldn't matter, but some differences are too big to get past. Ethan says he has to go, and says goodbye to Theresa.

In a warehouse, Julian is still talking with the Luis imposter. The imposter says that Sheridan is convinced that Luis was just using her. Julian tells the imposter to get rid of all this stuff, though he takes the mask with him, and he wishes he could be there to see the look on Julian's face when Sheridan confronts him. The imposter tells Julian that there is a problem with his plan, Sheridan could tell Luis what she heard him saying, and when they put two and two together, they'll figure out that he and Alastair set this up.

Julian returns to the house and talks with Alastair on the phone. He plays around with the mask, and then tells Alastair that Sheridan could tell Luis what she heard. Alastair says Sheridan has too much pride to tell him. Julian pours himself a drink to celebrate the end of Luis and Sheridan. Later, Alastair tells Julian that he knows about his own secrets, and he better hope they aren't brought out into the open!

At the Youth Center, Luis asks Sheridan if she got his message? Sheridan says she got it, and she has a message for him. She slaps him across the face, and tells him that she never wants to see him again! Luis asks what that was for? Sheridan tells him he knows what it is for, and she knows what type of man he is! Luis asks for an explanation, but Sheridan says she doesn't want to talk to him, let alone look at him. Luis is confused and asks what this is all about? Sheridan tells him that he knows exactly what this is about. Luis says he doesn't, and asks her to tell him. Sheridan thinks he is just playing a game, and she can play it too. Sheridan tells Luis that they are from two different worlds and can't mix. Luis wonders where this is coming from. Sheridan tells Luis that she knows what he wanted from her from the beginning, and she used him as well! She tells him that he was just a fling, a boy toy, and she's through with him now. Before leaving, Sheridan tells Luis that she doesn't want him to contact her, and she could care less if she ever sees him again. After Sheridan leaves, and heartbroken Luis crumples up the card he got for her. Outside, Ethan finds Sheridan in tears. Ethan is furious and vows to teach Ethan a lesson, but she begs him to stay away from Luis. She says she doesn't want Luis to ever know what she heard him say because it is too embarrassing. Ethan then comforts his aunt.

Back in the Youth Center, Luis goes at the punching bag and can't stop thinking about Sheridan. He wonders how he could have been so stupid. Theresa shows up and she asks him if something is wrong? Luis says he is just preoccupied. Theresa asks if this has to do with him and Sheridan? Luis says there is no him and Sheridan, and he doesn't know where things went wrong. Luis tells Theresa what Sheridan said to him. Theresa asks Luis what he did, did he try to talk to her? Luis says he didn't do anything. When Theresa tells him to go after her, Luis says he won't crawl after her. Luis says he forgot she was a Crane, and he says their family can never get involved with the Cranes. He tells Theresa that he will make sure she never gets near that family and forgets about that fantasy of hers. Theresa tells Luis that there is no chance for her and Ethan she knows that now. Luis hopes she means that, and Theresa says she does. Luis says that the Cranes are different than they are, they know nothing about honesty, trust, and love. He tells her that they should stick to people of their own background and to hell with the Cranes.

Sheridan and Ethan go to the Book Cafe, and Sheridan tells Ethan what she told Luis. Ethan is shocked because she would never use someone, but Sheridan says she doesn't want Luis to know that. As they talk, the imposter shows up and sees Sheridan with Ethan. Ethan tells Sheridan that he's sorry about Luis, and he really thought Luis was just a regular guy. The imposter spies on them and hears Sheridan tell Ethan that she never expected Luis to use her.

At the mansion, Julian tells his father that Charity Standish is having visions about his past with Eve. Alastair tells Julian that they better hope she doesn't tell TC Russell what she is seeing, because he is a very volatile man and he would fear for his life. Julian says he'd fear for his own life as well. Alastair wonders if Charity is related to Tabitha, and he warns Julian to stay away from both Charity and Tabitha. Alastair says he knows Tabitha from way back when, and all she does is cause trouble. Altair reminds Julian that TC blames him for the death of his father and his injury, and if he finds out about his affair with his wife, TC will kill him!

At the center, Hank tells Luis that everything for Sheridan's party is in place, and he asks Luis if he wants to come check them out. Luis says no, he tells Hank that he doesn't care about the party and he doesn't care if he never sees Sheridan again. Hank tells Luis to back up and asks him what happened? Luis tells Hank that he doesn't know, and he explains what happened. Hank doesn't understand and asks if Sheridan gave him an explanation. Luis says that Sheridan claimed he was using her, and then she told him she was using him to. Luis tells Hank that the woman is a nutcase, and if he wants to go after her then he can go for it. Hank says he will, but he still doesn't understand what is going on. Luis says it doesn't matter because Sheridan obviously isn't the one for him, and he tells Hank to be careful.

At the Book Cafe, Beth tells Sheridan that the kids are looking forward to the party, and so is Luis. Sheridan mumbles that Luis is a two faced bastard! The imposter hears this and gets a kick out of it when he recalls ripping off the Luis mask. He says that Sheridan has no idea how close to the truth she is. Beth asks Sheridan why she would call Luis that, he is the best! Sheridan apologizes and says that she just realized she and Luis have nothing in common. Beth asks Sheridan to please come to the party, because the kids would be disappointed. Sheridan doesn't know because she really doesn't want to see Luis again.

Elsewhere, Whitney continues to tell Chad about Tabitha's prediction about her dad committing murder. Chad tells Whitney to forget it, her mom is not having an affair with Julian Crane and her dad will not kill Julian Crane. Whitney thinks Chad believes her dad will kill someone. Chad says that he isn't saying that, but maybe if the right situation did come up, such as his family being in danger, he could commit murder. Chad tells Whitney that the other day when he was practicing with the team, Chad made a comment about his bad knee, and TC bit his head off. Whitney says that her dad once had a promising tennis career, but an injury put an end to it. Chad tells Whitney that her dad has a lot of anger inside, and pretty soon it will come out and it won't be pretty.

Miguel, Kay, and Simone go to the center for Sheridan's party. Miguel isn't in a party mood and wants to check on Charity, but Kay says that Eve is with Charity now. Kay asks Miguel to go nextdoor and get her coffee from the Book Cafe, so he leaves. Simone tells Kay that she is pretty low, but Kay says she has had a great Charity free day, and soon she will have a Charity free life when she is sent to the institution. Kay begins to have doubts about what they are doing to Charity. Simone tells Kay that she should get rid of the bird statue before something terrible happens. Kay says nothing will happen, and she's only protecting Miguel from a mental case of a girlfriend and make sure he ends up with who he is supposed to be with, her! Kay then threatens Simone into staying quiet by threatening not to help her get Chad if she doesn't help her. Later, Jessica shows up and notices Simone is upset, and she asks if this has to do with her sister? Jessica tries to get Simone to crack about Kay's schemes, but Simone stays strong.

Back at the Book Cafe, Chad, Whitney, and Miguel all convince Sheridan to attend the Youth Center party. The imposter hears this, and decides to follow her to keep an eye on her. Sheridan and the kids go to the party, and Jessica makes Luis give Sheridan the gift they got her. It is a plaque, which reads "To Sheridan Crane who brought so much to the youth center, including a good heart, compassion, and a willingness to listen to others and to care about what they have to say." Everyone applauds, and Sheridan is touched. Meanwhile, Beth and Hank compare notes about Sheridan and Luis falling out, and they celebrate. Later, Kay points out to Simone that Whitney and Chad came into this party together, and she warns her that she doesn't stand a chance getting Chad without her help. Simone tells Kay that she won't tell Jessica what she is up to, but only if she promises to get rid of the statue. Kay agrees, but says she has another way to get her man! Sheridan thanks everyone for her gift, and she says she has to leave. Kay tells her that she can't go until she does one last thing for them, and she asks her to dance the tango with Luis. Luis and Sheridan smile, and begin to dance. The imposter watches and doesn't look pleased. As they dance, Sheridan asks Luis if he wrote what was on the plaque? He said he did, but he wouldn't have if he knew what he knew after this morning. As they dance, they bicker with one another. Meanwhile, the imposter calls Julian to tell him what is going on at the youth center. Julian is not pleased to learn Luis and Sheridan are dancing and talking. He tells the imposter to stop them from talking anyway he can! After the dance ends, we see a gun being pointed at Luis back!

At the Bennetts, Charity wakes up screaming "Don't sleep with Julian Crane!" TC and Eve run up to Charity's room, and Tabitha and Timmy hide. Eve tries to keep TC from going in, but TC says that Charity sounds scared. TC goes into Charity's room, and Charity keeps saying "Don't do this . . . ." over and over. In the visions, Eve tells Julian that she no longer wants to sleep with him because she's met a man named TC and she loves him. Julian tells her that she can love anyone she wants, but it doesn't mean they have to end it. Charity continues to blurt out for them to stop. Suddenly, the phone rings, so Eve tells TC to go answer it. Tabitha is forced to hide around the corner, but TC is heading right for them! TC answers the phone, and it is Miguel calling to check up on Charity. TC has not noticed that Tabitha and Timmy are hiding behind him. Tabitha realizes the have to escape before they are seen, so she and Timmy jump down the laundry chute! Poor Tabitha ends up getting stuck in the washing machine, and Timmy tells Tabitha now she knows how he felt when she put him in the washing machine! Tabitha tells Timmy to get her out. Timmy tries to get her out, but ends up turning the machine on! He then decides to add some fabric soften to see if it will soften her heart towards Charity, but Tabitha doesn't appreciate his efforts. Tabitha finally gets out, and she grabs Timmy and runs upstairs to see the fireworks.

TC returns to Charity's room, and Charity wakes up. TC wants to question Charity, but Eve wants Charity to rest and she makes TC leave to get her something to drink. After TC leaves, Charity apologizes to Eve for almost letting is slip that she saw her with Julian Crane. Charity asks Eve if she would ever do what she saw her doing in her visions? Eve says of course not, and those dreams of hers aren't real. Back downstairs, Tabitha and Timmy are once again narrowly caught by TC. TC goes back upstairs with Charity's drink, and Tabitha and Timmy follow. TC asks Charity if she remembers anything about her dream, but Eve says now isn't a good time to question Charity. Eve tells TC he has a meeting to go to, so TC leaves. Eve decides to go check in with the hospital, and she goes to make a phone call. Tabitha smiles, and Timmy wonders why. When TC begins to wonder where he left his keys, Tabitha shows them to Timmy! She stole them! TC goes into Charity's room to see if his keys are in there, and he overhears Charity say Julian's name in her sleep. Charity pleads with Julian to leave "her" alone, and TC wonders who Charity is seeing Julian with. Suddenly, Charity blurts out "No Dr. Russell you can't!" Eve walks into the room when this happens, and can't believe what she is hearing.

Wednesday

March 8
At the Youth Center, Kay asks Miguel to dance, but he is too worried about Charity and is thinking of going to check up on her. Kay tells him that he can't because Dr. Russell says she needs rest in order to get better. Miguel knows that, but he can't stop thinking about her. Kay tells him that she'll keep him busy so he won't worry about her. As they dance, Jessica continues to try and get Simone to tell her what Kay knows about what is happening to Charity. She begs Simone to tell her so they can stop Kay and help Charity. Jessica lays a real guilt trip on Simone about how Charity is a good person and doesn't deserve this, and she wouldn't only be helping Charity, she'd be helping Kay by keeping her from doing something horrible. Before Simone can crack, Kay shows up to see what they are talking about. Jessica tells her sister that she knows she is up to something, and she will find out what it is. Kay drags Simone off and reminds her that they swore to be loyal to one another. Simone says she has remained loyal, but she is going too far. Simone refuses to let Charity go to the institution, so Kay plays the Chad and Whitney card. Simone tells Kay that she is wrong about him and Whitney, but Kay still says that Chad will have tons of other girls after him and she is the only one who can get rid of the competition for her. Later, the kids all leave to check on Charity.

Chad is still trying to convince Whitney that her dad will not kill anyone. Still, Whitney isn't so sure because she's never seen her father so angry as he was back at the Book Cafe. She says the look on his face was that of a man capable of anything, even murder. Still, Chad says right now there is nothing threatening her father's marriage or family, so everything is cool. Chad tells Whitney that her mom is apparently perfect, and nobody that virtuous would have anything to do with Julian Crane. Whitney says he is probably right, and in order to cheer Whitney up he lets her put on the next song. Whitney finally smiles, and thanks Chad for listening. As they look at one another, Simone watches them and is very worried.

The imposter is on the phone with Julian, who tells him to do anything he has to to put a stop to Luis and Sheridan talking. The imposter tells Julian he can kill Luis right now for him, but Julian says he doesn't want him dead, and tells him to find another way to separate them. On the dance floor, Luis asks Sheridan why she slapped him, what changed between them? Luis and Sheridan walk off to talk in private. Sheridan agrees to tell Luis why she is so angry at him. The imposter overhears this, and quickly cuts the power in the youth center off to keep them from talking. Luis has to leave to check on the lights, and everyone thanks Sheridan for all she's done. She thanks them for the party, but they tell her it was all Luis' idea. Beth tells Sheridan that she's glad she changed her mind and came. Sheridan says she's glad she came too because the kids are great. Hank tells Sheridan that he'll call her, and then she leaves. Luis returns to finish his conversation with Sheridan, only to learn she has left. Hank teases him and says he can still catch her if he wants to, but Luis says he has nothing to say to her. Outside, Sheridan wonders how Luis could write such wonderful things on the plaque, it doesn't make any sense. Back inside, Luis thanks Beth for coming, and he gives her a hug. Beth goes back to the Book Cafe, and Hank urges Luis to go for it with Beth now that he and Sheridan are over. Luis says he is not getting involved with anyone right now. Luis and Hank talk about Sheridan, and how Luis thought she was different then the other Cranes. He doesn't understand how Sheridan could have done such a 180 on him. However, he thinks that he'll probably find out what happened eventually. Hank asks Luis if he wants to get back with Sheridan? Luis says no, he just wants to tie up loose ends.

Chad takes his CD's back to the Book Cafe, and Whitney goes with him. Whitney is feeling better and tells Chad that she thinks he is right, her mom would never cheat on her dad or have a relationship with Julian Crane. She says there is nothing which would make her mom angry enough to kill, nothing. Whitney thanks Chad for talking to her and listening, and it means a lot to her that he took this time to help her. Chad apologizes for busting her image of him, that he's bad news and a loser. Whitney can't believe he can't even take a compliment, and wonders why she's wasting her time. She storms out of the cafe, and Chad wonders what is wrong with him.

Sheridan returns to the mansion and goes to Julian's study to get some Brandy? Julian starts teasing her, asking where she's been tonight, a pool hall, a bowling alley? Sheridan tells him to stop it, and he asks what has her so upset? Sheridan tells Julian that he was right about Luis all along, he was out to use her for her money. Julian tells her that he and father tried to warn her, and he tells her that she should listen to him and father from now on. Sheridan says she thought it was different this time, and if she hadn't overheard Luis with her own ears she wouldn't believe it. She shows Julian the plaque the kids gave her, and she paces around the room wondering how Luis could say those things, and then write the words on the plaque. As she walks around the study, Julian remembers that he left the latex mask of Luis the chair at his desk! Julian tells her that Luis played her for a fool, and she fell for his act. He tries to distract her from seeing the mask by leading her to the couch in his office. They sit down, and Julian asks her what she is going to do now? Sheridan doesn't know, so Julian suggests she goes back to Europe. Sheridan thinks her brother wants her to leave for some reason, but Julian says he just thinks Harmony is the worst possible place for her right now. Sheridan thinks some time away might be good for her, and she returns to her cottage to think.

At the Bennett's, TC asks a sleeping Charity who she sees with Julian Crane? Chartiy sits up and blurts out "Dr Russell, Dr. Russell!" Eve comes running, and asks if everything is all right? TC says no everything is not right, Charity is having visions of Julian Crane and another woman, and when he asked her who she said her name. Eve says he must have misunderstood, but TC knows what he heard. Eve wakes Charity up, and TC questions her about why she said his wife's name. Eve says that Charity was probably calling her for help, and she asks if that is right? Tabitha tries to send Charity a psychic message urging her to tell the truth. However, it doesn't work, Charity claims she couldn't see the woman with Julian, and she was only calling out to Eve for help. TC apologizes, and Eve tells him that it is all right. Tabitha can't believe Charity lied, but Timmy knew she would save Eve because she is the sweetest person she knows. Still, Tabitha says as long as the bird is under Charity's bed, Charity will continue to have visions, and eventually the truth will come out! Downstairs, TC is still upset about what Charity said, and the idea of her and Julian Crane just gets to him. Eve tells him to calm down, but TC just doesn't like hearing hers and Julian's name in the same sentence. He doesn't understand why he is feeling this way. Eve thinks it is just a combination of Chad's theory and Charity's visions. TC calms down and tells Eve that he knows she'd never do anything to hurt or upset him. Back upstairs, Tabitha and Timmy continue to spy on Charity. Timmy tells Tabitha that it could be ages before Eve's secrets are revealed. Tabitha thinks he is right, and she says she has to help things along by getting the bird back and get the photos into TC's hands. Timmy asks Tabitha how she is going to get the statue? Tabitha says they will crawl in and get it, and she orders Timmy to start crawling. As they crawl, Timmy envisions himself in an old world war 1 movie crawling through the trenches. When he is confronted by Fluffy, he starts screaming in real life, which causes Charity to sit up. Charity has another vision of Eve and Julian, and she cries out. TC and EVe hear her, and Tabitha thinks they are done for. The kids return home, and Miguel is all torn up about Charity. Kay tells Miguel that he doesn't have to go through this alone. Suddenly, the kids hear Charity scream. Eve and TC run to Charity's room Charity begs Eve to make the visions stop because she can't bear it. Tabitha and Timmy are hiding under the bed and listen to everything that is said. Eve asks TC to get her bag so she can sedate Charity, so he leaves. Once he is gone, Charity asks Eve why she is making love to Julian Crane? Eve tells her she doesn't know why she is seeing what she is. TC returns with Eve's bag, and EVe sedates her. TC asks Eve what happened while he was gone, but Eve says nothing. The kids come running up to see Charity, and Simone begins to feel even more guilty. However, she doesn't think Grace and Sam will put her in an asylum. Unfortunately, Eve announces that she has decided to admit Charity to the hospital tonight! Tabitha tells Timmy they can't let that happen because they need Charity here!

Thursday

March 9
Due to illness, I have not proof read this summary!
At the station, Sam notices that Luis is in a bad mood and asks him what is up? Luis tells Sam about his problems with Sheridan. Luis says Sheridan slapped him, and he doesn't know what he did to deserve it. Sam jokes that he could arrest her for assault, but Luis doesn't think he is funny. Luis says he made a mistake, he thought she was different from the other Cranes. Sam tells Luis that he tried to warn him. Luis swears that he will never let it happen again. Sam asks Luis if he is sure he doesn't know what he did to upset Sheridan, but Luis says he has no idea at all. Sam says this doesn't sound like the Sheridan he has been talking about, and Luis says if he knew better he'd say that her family got to her and convinced her not to see him anymore. Sam asks Luis if he is upset because he let a Crane hurt his pride, or because he fell hard for a woman like he never has before, and ended up hurt by her. Luis says his pride was hurt, and he let Sheridan get to close. Luis says that things were starting to go really well between them, and he doesn't know what happened. Sam asks if Sheridan thought he made a commitment to her and backed out of it, but Luis says he made no commitment and they only kissed a few times. They continue to talk about love, and Sam tells Luis that getting Sheridan out of his life physically isn't going to be the hard part, it is getting her out of his heart that is going to be tough. Luis says he will not have a problem forgetting about Sheridan. Luis switches the topic, so Sam decides to talk to Luis about his career. Sam tells him that he is up for detective, and the commissioner with be reviewing them, but he has one file that is still open, Martin's death and Sheridan's kidnapping. Luis says he can handle it, it is his job. He decides to head over to see Sheridan right now to get it over with.

At the Crane mansion, Julian tells his father that Sheridan bought it and will be leaving Harmony for good. Ivy and Ethan were passing by Julian's study and are troubled when they hear Julian comment that Sheridan is returning to Europe. Ethan takes off to find Sheridan, and Ivy goes in to confront Julian. Julian is twirling the Luis mask in his hand and telling his father that Sheridan has no clue the man she heard talking on the phone wasn't Luis. Ivy stands behind Julian and learns every little detail of Julian and Alastair's plan. After Julian hangs up and turns around, Ivy lays into him for what he and his father are doing to Sheridan. Julian tells her that this is a volatile situation and radical measures were required to protect their family. Ivy asks how a simple love affair can bring down the mighty Crane empire? Julian says that Luis would use his relationship with Sheridan to destroy them, but Ivy doubts that. She grabs the mask and decides to tell Sheridan the truth. Julian warns her that if she does that she will lose everything, is she willing to do that? He tells her that she'll lose her status and position in this family and town, does Sheridan mean that much to her? Ivy says she's not doing this for Sheridan, she's doing it for herself! She says that she should have never returned to him after she ran out on him on their wedding night. Ivy tells him that she doesn't want Sheridan to settle for a loveless and cold marriage like theirs. Julian says it wasn't always cold, they have children to show for it, and their honeymoon was anything but cold considering Ethan was born nine months later. Julian tells her that he always wondered where she ran off to that night? Sheridan remembers she ran to Sam, and they made love. Ivy tells Julian that it doesn't matter where she went, she ran because he didn't want her. She can't stand that he is playing God with his sister's life, but Julian claim he is only trying to help his sister. Ivy doubts that, and says she will tell Sheridan the truth. Before Ivy can walk out the door, Julian asks her if she is willing to lose Ethan? He tells her that if she brings down the Crane empire, Ethan will hate her for it. He says that Ethan is proud of his family and the Crane name, and if she drags this family's name through the mud, she'll also jeopardize his relationship with Gwen because her parents will forbid her to marry him. Julian asks her if she wants to break her son's heart? Ivy says that Ethan would want Sheridan to know the truth, so Julian tells her to go ahead and tell Ethan. Ivy decides not to after all, and Julian tells her that he can always count on her to do the right thing where Ethan is involved. Ivy knows what she is doing is not right, but she won't sacrifice her son's happiness. Julian says Sheridan will eventually forget about Luis, but Ivy isn't so sure.

Out at the cottage, Ethan shows up to see Sheridan. Ethan asks her if she is leaving Harmony for good? Sheridan says she has no choice, she can't stay because Luis has ruined everything for her. Ethan tells her that she can't let Luis run her out of town, but Sheridan says she can't avoid Luis if she stays in Harmony because they have an uncanny way of running into one another. Sheridan tells Ethan that she will miss him, but Harmony isn't the place for her anymore. She says that Harmony isn't home to her anymore, she has no roots here. Ethan tells her to stay and try and put some roots down because she's leaving Harmony for the same reason she left Paris, because of a bad love affair. Sheridan says it is ironic, but she is hurting and she can't stay here. Ethan says there are other ways to avoid Luis. Sheridan says it isn't just about avoiding him, it's also about dealing with the emotional part. Ethan tells her that going to Europe won't get Luis out of her heart. She says she knows that. Ethan tells Sheridan that a man like Luis doesn't belong on the police force, and he offers to have him fired for her. Sheridan says she can't blame Luis for everything, and she says she was eavesdropping. Ethan tells Sheridan that he treated her like dirt and lead her on. Sheridan tells Ethan that he has to remember that Luis hates the Cranes, and perhaps he couldn't see past her last name. When Sheridan says in a way it is her fault, Ethan asks his aunt why she is defending him? Sheridan says she is just disappointed in the way things turned out, and she is disappointed in Luis and her misjudging him. Ethan decides to leave his aunt be for awhile, but asks her not to leave Harmony until they have another chance to talk. Ethan leaves, and Sheridan has a fantasy about Luis coming to see her to tell her that he knows she overheard his phone call, and she did it to scare her off because he couldn't handle falling in love with her. However, now he realizes he can't live without her, and he kisses her. Later, Luis shows up at the cottage for real.

At the Bennetts, Miguel is upset that Charity has to go to the hospital, but Kay is thrilled. She asks Eve if Charity is being committed, but Eve says she just wants to observe Charity for the time being. under the bed, Tabitha sees the bird statue, and she and Timmy struggle to reach it. Grace comes into the room and learns that Charity is being admitted to the hospital, and she isn't happy. Grace asks Eve if there is no alternative, but Eve says she's afraid not. Eve says that she fears Charity's hysteria will continue to intensify, and they won't be able to handle her here. Miguel asks Eve to help her, and Eve says she will and that they will put Charity through a whole battery of tests. Simone yanks Kay aside and orders her to tell them about the bird or else she will rot in hell! Simone tells Kay that she has gone too far this time. Kay says she hates seeing Charity this way, and hates seeing her mom and Miguel so upset. She thinks that perhaps she should get the bird and show it to Eve. Under the bed, Tabitha tells Timmy that they are done for! Timmy cries and tells Tabitha that it was nice knowing her. Everyone tells Charity that they will see her through this and make sure she is all right. Charity says her mom used to act crazy, maybe she inherited it. When Kay hears this, she tells Simone "Forget the bird, Charity is going crazy on her own!" Tabitha breaths a sigh of relief. Jessica confronts her sister and knows Kay has something to do with Charity's current condition. Kay tells Jessica if she really wants to know what she has to do with Charity going crazy then she will tell her. Kay says she has done zip, what could she do to make Charity go nuts, how could she make Charity go nuts? Jessica threatens to tell their mom about her suspicious, but Kay says that will only upset their mom even more. Eve says it is time for Charity to go to the hospital. Kay asks Eve if Charity should be in a straight jacket. Everyone stares at Kay, and Kay says she just doesn't wont Charity to hurt herself. Eve says it isn't necessary, and everyone hugs Charity goodbye. Grace decides to go with Charity and Eve, and when Miguel decides to go with them. After they leave, Charity smiles. Simone tells her to stop smiling, once Charity is away from the statue her hallucinations will stop, and they'll realize they have something to do with something in her room. Kay didn't think of that, but comes up with a solution. Kay and Simone leave, and Tabitha and Timmy crawl out from under the bed, however they soon return. Tabitha hides under the bed, but Timmy is not quick enough and reverts to doll form. Kay grabs the doll and says it is exactly what she needs. Kay asks Simone to get the statue for her, but Simone refuses. Kay says she'll do it herself, and reaches under the bed. She grabs it from Tabitha, and tells Simone that she is going to cut a hole in the doll, put the statue inside, and give the doll to Charity! She says that will keep the statue close to Charity, and it will keep her locked up forever. Kay grabs some scissors and decides to rip open poor Timmy.

At the hospital, Miguel visits Charity, who tells Miguel that he has to leave and she doesn't want him to turn back. She begs Miguel to forget about him.

At the Crane mansion, Ivy tells Julian that he can't keep Sheridan and Luis apart, she and Luis will be together. Julian asks why not, the only way they would get back together is if they talked again and Sheridan admitted to what she heard. However, Ivy says that he has forgotten about love, but she isn't surprised because it is something he doesn't know the first thing about. Ivy warns Julian that if it is real love between Luis and Sheridan, then there is nothing he and Alastair can do to keep them apart. Ivy decides to go out, and when she calls for the limo, she looks outside and sees a police car at Sheridan's place. She gets a laugh at Julian's expense and tells Julian that she told him love would win out, and she wonders how long it will take them to learn the truth about what drove them apart.

At the cottage, Sheridan is shocked to see Luis. Luis tells her that they have unfinished business, and informs her that he is here as a cop. Sheridan asks if she is here to arrest her for slapping him? Luis says he has to close the case on Martin's death and her kidnapping, besides he knows she slapped him because of something he did, not because he was a cop. He asks Sheridan to stop the tap dancing and tell him why she's angry at him. Sheridan says he is just like Jean-Luc, which upsets Luis. Luis tells her that she doesn't know the first thing about him, and she tells him that he's got that right. Luis asks Sheridan to just sign the statement so he can leave, which she gladly does. Sheridan sits down to read it, and she realizes he left out the part about saving her life over the man he thought was his father. She says it was an extraordinary noble thing to do, but Luis says he was doing his job. Sheridan asks if she was only a job to him? Luis admits that before things went haywire, he was hoping it was much. Sheridan signs the paper, and Luis tells her that they probably won't see each other again. Luis tells her that he doesn't know why she hates him, but he can't say he hates her. He hopes she finds happiness and wishes her the best. He turns to leave, and she asks him to wait. Before he leaves, she asks him if he wrote the description on the plaque? He says he did, and she wonders how he could be so kind, yet so cold, it is almost like he is two different people. Luis says he has been open about his feelings since the beginning, and he doesn't understand why she thinks he is cold and calculating. Sheridan decides to tell him everything. However, before she can say anything, Julian barges in and tells Luis to stop harassing his sister. Julian says his sister is busy planning her return to Paris, and he should get out. Luis is shocked to learn that Sheridan is going back to Paris. Luis wishes her luck because she'll need it, and he leaves. However, Sheridan decides to go after Luis to tell him why she slapped him, but Julian tells her that she can't do that! Julian tells her that if she starts explaining herself to Luis, then he'll think she can't live without him and will try and work his way back into her life. He advises her to put Luis out of her mind and keep him out of her life for good. Julian says he has a board meeting at the hospital to attend to, but he will stay with her if she needs him. Sheridan says she will be fine, so Julian leaves. Later, Luis decides to return to see Sheridan because he refuses to let her leave without knowing why she slapped him.

At the Bennett's, Simone can't believe that Kay is going to send the doll with the bird inside it to Charity. Suddenly, Jessica storms into the room, saving Timmy from having a hole cut in him , and she tells her sister that she knows what she is doing to Charity, and she won't get away with it. Kay shoves the bird under her bed, and Tabitha grabs it. Jessica accuses Kay of using something to make Charity look like she's going crazy, and Jessica begins searching the room. She sees Tabitha's doll and grabs it. She starts shaking Timmy and thinks she is up to something with it. Kay grabs Timmy back from Jessica and says she is not up to anything, she is not the mean witch she thinks she is. Tabitha says "Not yet!" Kay tells Jessica to go away and leave the alone. Jessica says it will be her pleasure, and she decides to go check on Charity. Kay grabs the bird statue back from Tabitha, and decides to put it back inside Timmy. However, Simone grabs the bird and refuses to let her do it. Kay throws Timmy to the floor and lays into Simone. She tells Simone that she doesn't know what she goes through, and she won't let Charity take Miguel from her. She says if she did she'd end up like Tabitha with a stupid doll and mangey cat. Tabitha lets out a "bah-humbug!" and Timmy says he is not stupid! Tabitha thinks that Kay needs some sensitivity training. Simone looks at the bird and thinks Jessica is right, something else in this room must be affecting Charity. Simone starts searching the room for something evil, and Tabitha once again thinks she's done for. Kay tells her to stop it, there is no such thing as evil. Simone still thinks they should get rid of the statue, but Kay refuses and decides to put the statue in Timmy. However, she realizes that Jessica saw her with the doll, so she'll have to use something else. She finds a teddy bear with a zippered back Miguel gave her, and she says it will work perfectly. After they leave for the hopsital, Tabitha tells Timmy that Kay is a dunce for giving that bird to Charity because she'll be committed for sure, and then Charity will never kill Miguel and turn to the dark side. She says they better get to that hospital.

At the hospital, Charity asks Miguel to leave, but he refuses and says he knows she will be okay. Charity says she doesn't know that because everytime she closes opens her eyes she has horrible visions. Miguel tells her to just hold his hand if she can't look at him and know he is here. Eve introduces Charity to a doctor friend of hers who will run some tests on her, so Miguel leaves to they can examine Charity. Outside Charity's room, Sam and TC tell Miguel that everything will be all right. Grace tells Miguel that she knows how he feels, and she knows Kay and Jessica would be devastated if anything happened to their cousin. Back in Charity's room, Eve thanks Charity for not telling TC what she saw. Charity knows they weren't real and she didn't want to cause problems. Eve leaves so the doctor can diagnose Charity, and Eve tells the family that they should know more sure. Grace is worried about Charity's insurance, so Sam decides to go check on it. Eve talks with Grace about secrets, and how they can threaten one's marriage. Grace thinks her marriage is solid, but lately she is beginning to think that perhaps Sam had a past love. She says it all started when she saw Sam and Ivy kiss at the mansion, but says Sam and Ivy having a past is as silly as her and Julian having one. Eve tells her that she is right. Grace says if Sam's first love was Ivy, he would have told her the minute they became friends. Later, the doctor comes out and tells Eve that she was right to bring Charity in for observation. Elsewhere, TC talks with Sam about Charity's visions and Chad's theory. He tells him that his temper is getting out of hand lately because of all these signs pointing at an Eve and Julian relationship. Sam tells TC that Eve would never cheat on him, especially with Julian Crane. TC tells Sam that if he thought for one minute Julian would touch Eve, he'd rip his heart out with his bare hands. Everyone gathers to here the news about Charity. The doctor says Charity is fine now, but she wants to keep her here over night. Eve asks the doctor in private if Charity mentioned her visions to her, but the doctor says she didn't. Elsewhere, Grace tells Sam that she hopes they won't regret not telling TC about Charity's visions, because she would hate if he kept something from her. Sam decides to tell Grace the truth about ivy, but he is beeped and has to go check in with the station. Kay, Simone, and Jessica show up and learn the good news. Kay claims she is happy, and has brought Charity a little present! They go in to see Charity, and Kay isn't pleased when she sees house close Charity and Miguel are. Kay gives Charity the teddy bear to remind her of home, and Miguel and Charity both thank her. Later, Kay asks the doctor if Charity has another episode, will she need to be institutionalized? The doctor says she would, and it would be an extensive and long term treatment. The doctor leaves, and Simone tells Kay that they have to get that statue out of that room. Later, the statue gets to Charity, and she sees visions in her room windows. She begins screaming, and everyone runs to check on her. Kay says it won't be long before Miguel is hers! Meanwhile, Sam's cell phone isn't working, so he ducks into Eve's office to use her phone. Ivy shows up and sees Sam in Eve's office, so she goes in and locks the door behind him. Sam is shocked to see her, and she claims she just can't stay away from him. Sam tells Ivy to leave because he loves his wife and won't hurt her. He warns her that she is playing with fire, but ivy tells Sam that nobody needs to know about them. Suddenly, Julian shows up, as does Tabitha. Tabitha knows ivy is with Sam, so she decides to tell Julian where Ivy is! Julian head to the office to see Ivy, unaware that she is in there with Sam. Tabitha hears Charity screaming, and fears all her plans are about to go up in smoke.
