Whitney and Theresa go to the Lopez-Fitzgerald house to get ready for the benefit. Their dates show up, so Whitney goes to answer the door. Theresa looks at a torn up photo of Ethan and wonders how she will ever get over him.
At the Mansion, Ethan invites Sheridan to attend the hospital benefit with him and Gwen, but she thanks him but turns him down. Ethan wants his aunt to be as happy and as in love as he is, and he says he's going to spend all his time trying make her that happy. Sheridan remembers her date with Luis and tells Ethan it might not be as difficult as he is thinking. Ethan is shocked there is a guy she is already interested in, and he asks if it is Hank Bennett? Sheridan tells him no, it is Luis! Sheridan says she is still confused about her feelings right now. She tells him about her date with Luis last night, but she doesn't know if she should take the plunge and tell Luis she wants to start a relationship with him. Ethan has an opinion on this matter and decides to tell it to her when she asks for his opinion. Ethan thinks that she should forget all about Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald. Sheridan asks him why he feels this way? Ethan tells her that she is a Crane and he thought she wanted more out of a man. He tells her that she fit in last night at the pool hall because of her formal breeding and training, but could Luis honestly fit in in her world? Sheridan says she doesn't know, but what does it matter? Ethan says that marriages are successful when two people have a lot in common, but in this case she has a lot, and Luis is common! Sheridan is appalled and can't believe what a snob Ethan is being. Ethan tells her that he can't believe how naive she is being, and he asks her to tell him one thing she and Luis have in common. Sheridan tells him that they both love ice skating, but Ethan doubts that will get her to their first anniversary. Ethan asks Sheridan if she really wants to spend the rest of her life organizing the policemen's ball, shopping on a budget, making room in the mini-van for the kids and the dog? He asks what Luis can honestly offer her other than two dances a year at the stupid youth center? Sheridan says that youth center offers hundred of kids in Harmony a chance at a better life, and she says Luis is a very noble man and the Crane men could learn a lot from him. Ethan says he'll keep that in mind when he needs the name of a good pool hall to take Gwen to. Sheridan tells Ethan that she expected this from Julian and Alastair, but not from him. She says she thought he understood that money and social status were not the true measure of a man. Ethan responds "Really? Then what is?" Sheridan tells Ethan that he's had his say about Luis, and now it is his turn. Sheridan tells Ethan that Luis is the finest man that she has ever known and wonders what type of obnoxious little twit he's become. Ethan begins to laugh and tells Sheridan that if you love someone then money and social standing doesn't matter. Sheridan asks him why he made her angry then? Ethan says that he only wanted to make her see how much she liked the guy, and it is obvious that she likes him a lot. He tells her that she needs to find out if she loves him, and he loves her. Sheridan thanks Ethan, and he tell her that he just wants her to be happy. He says if Luis is the man for her, then she should go for it. Ethan has to leave to go to the seascape, and Sheridan calls the station to speak to Luis. However, she learns that Luis is patrolling the warf. Sheridan decides to see just what she and Luis stand.
At the Seascape, Whitney and Theresa arrive with their dates, as does Ethan. Whitney's date asks Whitney if she has anyone in her life, but she says no. Theresa's date asks her the same thing. Theresa says that there was someone she was interested in once, but not anymore. Suddenly, Theresa sees Ethan and Gwen.
On the docks, Luis is thinking about Sheridan when Hank shows up. Hank asks Luis what is going on between him and Sheridan, is he in love with her? Luis asks what kind of question that is? Hank says it is a damn fair one because he saw the way he and Sheridan were looking at one another. Luis says he's only been on two dates with Sheridan, how is he supposed to know if he is in love with her. Hank tells Luis that he's not giving up on Sheridan, and he wants to know if he's making a serious play for Sheridan? Luis tells Hank that perhaps she should ask Sheridan how she feels about him, because she is the one sending him mixed signals. Luis says he doesn't know what she wants. Hank says he knows what he wants, a hot cup of coffee. He suggests they head over there for one, and perhaps his head will thaw out and he'll figure out whether he wants Sheridan. However, he still thinks that no matter what he does, he'll win her in the end. They go to the Book Cafe, and Chad thanks Luis for helping spread the word about what a good DJ he is because it got him a job at the Seascape. He then asks Luis for his help with a girl. Both Luis and Hank, in unison, say "What can I do to help?" Luis asks Chad where he and this girl stand? Chad says they are about as far apart as one can get right now, she has money and he doesn't. Luis tells him to just be himself and show her that he isn't interested in her money or her family. However, Hank disagrees and says rich girls are used to things because that is how they were raised. They end up arguing with one another, and Luis eventually says he has to go back out on patrol. Hank follows him, but before leaving, tells Chad to wine and dine the girl he likes. After they leave, Chad tells himself he'll never get anywhere if he has to play that way. Luis and Hank go back to the docks, and continue bickering about Sheridan. Luis thinks the next time he sees Sheridan he'll learn how she feels. Luis tells Hank that he has to start the stakeout, so Hank leaves. When Sheridan shows up, Luis grabs her and gives her a passionate kiss!
Back at the mansion, Alastair calls Julian and tells him that he has a new plan to break up Sheridan and Luis, but he'll need his help later on.
At the Bennett's, Charity sees visions in her mirror of Julian smacking Eve. She screams, which brings all the adults in the house running. Nextdoor, Tabitha and Timmy hear Charity scream, and Tabitha thinks this might be what she is waiting for. Timmy cries because he can't stand to hear Charity in pain. Tabitha tells him to toughen up because they are going next door to see Charity's pain up close! Back at the Bennett's, Miguel tries to calm Charity down and he asks her why she is screaming. The adults show up and Miguel explains to them that Charity became hysterical for some unknown reason. Charity continues to see visions of Julian hitting Eve, and she continues to scream. Eve says that Charity needs a sedative, so she asks TC to get her bag. Eve also asks Sam to take the kids downstairs. Meanwhile, Charity sees Julian taking the naughty pictures of Eve, and she begs Eve to stop. Grace and Eve set Charity down on the bed, and Eve asks Charity what she's seeing? Downstairs, Tabitha and Timmy sneak into the house, but are nearly caught by Sam and the kids. Tabitha refuses to leave because she wants to be there when someone's entire life is destroyed. Miguel is upset, and Simone asks Kay how she can do this to him? Kay says she is doing it for his own good, and he'll eventually see that. Simone doesn't like this, but she agrees to keep helping Kay when Kay threatens to stop helping her with Chad. However, Simone says she's not proud of herself for it. Kay tells Miguel not to worry about Charity, she'll be fine. Sam agrees and says that Grace had nightmares for years after the fire she was in, but everything worked out. However, Kay tells Miguel that he shouldn't get his hopes up because her parents lucked out. She tells Miguel than no matter what happens, she will never leave his side.
Tabitha and Charity sneak upstairs and listen at Charity's door. Charity is looks at Eve and tells her that she saw her. Tabitha realizes the bird is closer than they know because Charity is having visions of Eve. Charity looks back in the mirror and sees Julian climb on top of Eve! Right as Charity was about to tell Eve what she saw, TC walks into the room with Eve's bag. Charity continues to see Eve and Julian going at it, and she spaces out. Eve tells Charity to close her eyes and tell her if she still sees things. Charity does as Eve says, and says she doesn't see anything. Eve tells Charity to keep her eyes closed, so Charity does. Eve goes outside prepare a sedative. Timmy thinks they should leave, but Tabitha tells him not so fast. She says that could still kill Miguel if one of her fits goes to far, and then she would come over to their side. Charity ends up opening her eyes back up, and Grace tells her to close her eyes. Charity says she's trying not to watch, but she can't resist. Grace asks Charity what she sees? Charity tells her that she saw two people fighting and doing strange things. Grace asks Charity who she is seeing? Charity says she sees Dr. Russell and Julian Crane! Tabitha celebrates as the truth about Eve's past is about to explode.
On the docks, Luis and Sheridan share a passionate kiss. After the kiss, Sheridan asks Luis what has gotten into him? Luis tells her not to say anything because there is something he has to do. Sheridan closes her eyes, and Luis disappears! Luis returns after chasing a perp, and Luis tells Sheridan that he is on a stake-out. He tells her that the kiss was a cover, and he apologizes for coming on so strong, but he needed for it to seem real. He asks her what she is doing down here? Sheridan is upset, and she says she decided to take a walk down here. Luis says it's not safe down here, and he is beeped by the station. Luis learns that Sheridan called the station looking for him, and Sheridan overhears the call and realizes she is busted. Sheridan tells Luis that he got her, and he says he knows. Sheridan tells him that she had a good time tonight, and Luis says he did to and she made a big impression on his buddies. Sheridan says that Beth wasn't too thrilled to see her with him, but Luis says he didn't pick up on anything. He tells her that he and Beth are ancient history, they only started seeing one another every now and then a few months ago. Luis says there is nothing heavy going on between him and Beth, and they talked about it recently. Sheridan asks if he's saying it is over with him and Beth? Luis says that he told Beth that as far as present and future are concerned, he can't make any commitments right now. Sheridan says she should leave and she shouldn't have come here, because she was assuming things she shouldn't have be. Luis tells her that she wasn't assuming anything. Unfortunately, Luis' partner for the stakeout shows up, so Sheridan decides to head back home. Sheridan returns home and thinks she's made a fool of herself. Shortly after returning home, she gets a call from Luis. Luis tells her that they never finished their conversation, but she thinks she got the general idea. He says he doesn't think she did. He tells her that if anyone asked him who he saw himself hooking up with and spending the rest of his life with right now, he would say it wouldn't be Beth. Sheridan asks if he knows who he could see himself with?
At the Benentt's, Eve prepares a sedative for Charity and hopes it will calm her down. TC thinks his wife is perfect and tells her that he hopes their daughter turn out to be as amazing as she is. Sam shows up and he asks Eve why Charity is having these hallucinations. Eve says that they started with a bird statue at the shop, but that statue is nowhere near here now. In Charity's room, Grace asks Charity who she is seeing in her visions? Charity says she sees Dr. Russell and Julian Crane! Grace asks if she is sure, and Charity is. Grace finds it odd because Eve doesn't know Julian all that well. A spying Tabitha laughs and says that is what Grace thinks, and the photos in the bird statue will prove it. Timmy feels bad for Eve and doesn't want the truth to be exposed, but Tabitha says that she can't prevent Charity from blabbing what the bird is causing her to see. Timmy says it still doesn't explain how the bird got from the backyard and into the house. Tabitha realizes that Kay must have found it and planted it Charity's room to drive her crazy. Timmy thinks Kay is mean, but Tabitha says Kay has done them a marvelous favor. However, Tabitha says that Kay still won't get Miguel in the end, because she will end up killing Miguel in the end. Back in Charity's room, Grace tells Charity to close her eyes to make the visions go away, but Charity tells her aunt that she can't do it. Charity continues to stare in the mirror and watch Eve and Julian: The After Hours Special! Grace asks Charity what Eve and Julian are doing? Charity says they are doing bad things, things she can't tell her about. Grace asks her why she can't tell her, is it sexual? Charity thinks something is wrong with her, but Grace says she is just upset and what is happening to her isn't real. Charity says they seem so real and they won't stop. Grace tells her they will stop, and she tells her to close her eyes and keep concentrating on keeping them closed. Grace leaves to get Eve, and the two talk. Grace tells Eve that Charity told her about her visions. Eve asks Grace what Charity is seeing? A spying Tabitha waits for the explosion to occur. Grace says that Charity is seeing visions of her and Julian Crane doing strange things. Eve is so startled that she drops her vial! Eve apologizes, but Grace says it is okay. Grace says she doesn't know what would cause Charity to have such visions. Eve becomes upset and says that she thinks that perhaps Charity may have overheard them talking about Julian and Ivy at the lodge. Still, Grace doesn't know how she tied the two of them together. Grace decides to make Charity some tea, and once she leaves, Eve panics and tells herself that this can't be happening. Eve goes in to see charity and asks her to tell her everything she's seeing. Tabitha comments that she wants the Pollyanna wannabe to reveal the X-rated version. Eve tells Charity that Grace already her that the visions were of her and Julian, so she asks what they are about? Charity says she saw them fighting, which Eve thinks is just a result of the conflict in her own life. Charity says there is more, so Eve tells her to tell her. Charity tells Eve that she saw Julian taking pictures of her, but she didn't have any clothes on. She says that she tried to get away from him, but he wouldn't let her. Eve is upset, and Charity asks her what these visions mean? Eve tells Charity that none of this in anyway real. Charity asks Eve why she is so scared, and she wants to know why? Back downstairs, Grace tells TC that Charity is seeing things again, and she doesn't know if she should tell Miguel or not. TC asks Grace what Charity is seeing? Grace says it was all confusing and she doesn't know what it meant. TC takes the kids some sodas, and Sam comes to see Grace. Grace tells Sam that she's really worried about Charity and she tells him about Charity's visions. Sam tells Grace it is good that she didn't tell TC because he hates Julian with a passion. Still, Grace says she doesn't feel good about holding back, but it isn't like these hallucinations are real. Back upstairs, TC shows up right as Charity asks Eve if she is scared because of something between her and Julian Crane? TC asks Eve what this talk of Julian Crane is about?
On the phone, Luis admits to Sheridan he wouldn't marry Beth at this point in his life - there's someone else he has in mind. Sheridan presses Luis to reveal the name of the woman he is thinking about, but Luis doesn't want to say. He admits he enjoyed kissing Sheridan earlier at the wharf. Sheridan admits she rather enjoyed the kiss, too. Later, Julian tries to convince Sheridan once more that Luis is just using her. Sheridan is undeterred in her faith in Luis' good character. Theresa fights to keep her emotions under control while slow dancing with Ethan. Whitney notices Theresa is about to crack and asks Chad to stop playing the love song. Whitney is flustered when Chad accuses her of being affected by the song because it makes her think of him. Whitney pulls the plug on the song right before Theresa attempts to tell Ethan she loves him. Theresa and Whitney's blind dates get drunk and decide to pick a fight with Ethan and Chad for hitting on their dates. The girls talk their dates out of fighting, and Ethan and Chad get the guys a cab. Chad ends up driving Whitney home, while Ethan takes Theresa. Theresa finds her close proximity to Ethan hard to deal with. Will Theresa finally break and tell Ethan she's in love with him? TC hears Charity say her visions are of Julian. Charity decides to not tell him Eve is also in her visions doing sexual things with Julian. A nervous Eve sends TC out on an errand to get him away from Charity. Eve tries to convince Charity her visions have no basis in reality. She implores Charity to not tell anyone about what she's seeing. Charity is plagued by more visions, this time of Eve and Julian cuddling after sex. Tabitha is disappointed TC left before finding out about Eve's past with Julian. She reminds Timmy she predicted TC would commit murder, and she's determined to make sure it happens. Sam catches Tabitha and Timmy lurking in the hallway. Kay happily comforts Miguel, who is torn up over Charity's anguish. Simone threatens to take the bird statue out of Charity's room.
Chad takes Whitney home, and Chad laughs and says that her mom would flip if she knew he drove her home tonight. Chad tells Whitney that her mom is too controlling, and she's lost out on a whole life and she needs to start making up for what she's missed. They move in close to one another, and just as it looks like Chad is about to kiss Whitney, he pulls away and says "Some other time, I have to drop off Mark's, her date, car behind the Book Cafe." Whitney tells Chad that he is a bigger jerk than Mark for teasing her, and she's sick of him. Chad says that he's only trying to make her see that she needs a man in her life. Whitney says if she needs a man in her life, it won't be him because he wouldn't even make the first cut! Simone returns home and is shocked to see them together all dressed up, and demands to know if they were out on a date. Whitney tells Simone to get serious, and she explains what happened. Chad tells Simone to do her sister a favor and put her in a cold shower. Chad leaves, and Simone gives her sister and evil look. Simone asks Whitney if she is after Chad, and Whitney assures her sister that she is not after Chad, and Chad is no catch. Simone tells Whitney that she is wrong, and she is going to change Chad. Whitney tells her that Chad Harris will never change.
At the Bennett's, Eve is on the phone with Julian and warns him not to tell anyone about their meeting tonight. Julian says he knows how to keep his mouth shut, and if TC learned about this he'd kill him! Eve tells Julian that this meeting is dangerous, and something has happened, which is his fault, that could destroy her entire life! Eve tells Sam and Grace that she has to go to the hospital to see a patient in crisis, and they say they understand. Eve tells them that she thinks Charity will be fine, at least until tomorrow. Eve asks them not to mention Charity's visions to TC, and they says they won't. Later, TC shows up, and Sam gets a call about some lights on at the Book Cafe. TC thinks it is probably some kids from the school, so Sam and TC decide to go check it out.
Up in Charity's room, Timmy tells Charity that he knows she is not crazy, and he would lay down his life for her if he had one to lay down. He leans over and gives her a kiss on the forehead. Suddenly, Kay walks in the room, which is dark, and sees Timmy moving! She exclaims "Your not a doll, your real!" She grabs Timmy, who is in doll form, and demands he say something. She tells herself she's becoming as crazy as her cousin, and that she must have been seeing things. Kay retrieves the bird from its hiding place, and she tells Charity that her being put away is for both of their own good. Kay grabs Timmy by his legs and tells Charity that she will take good care of Miguel once she's gone. She then begins to steal some of Charity's jewelry, and then she leaves with Timmy! Timmy wonders where the horrible girl is taking her. Kay takes Timmy back to her room and says she'll take him back to Tabitha's tomorrow, but she needs him right now. Kay looks at the things she stole and says that she needs to come up with a new look mixing hers and Charity's styles, and she uses Timmy as a mannequin! Kay dresses Timmy up in all sorts of outfits as Aerosmith's "Dude Looks Like a Lady" plays in the background. Timmy tells himself that if anyone around here is crazy it is Kay! When he sees himself in the mirror, he says that Kay knows nothing about make-up and it's no wonder she can't get Miguel. He grabs a tissue to try to take the make-up off, but he ends up sneezing! Grace shows up at this point, and she and Kay both bless one another because they think the other sneezed. However, when they realize neither one of them sneezed, they look over at Timmy. Grace says it must have been a car backfiring on the street. Grace asks why Tabitha's doll is here, and what all this stuff is on him? Kay says Tabitha must have left it here, and she just put that on him because she was cleaning her drawers out. Grace says that he looks cute all dressed up. Grace came to see Kay to see how she was doing. Kay "feels bad" for Charity, but says perhaps she'll finally get the help she needs. Grace tells her not to worry about it, and then tells Kay to come downstairs with her and she'll make her some coca. After they leave, Timmy sneaks out of Kay's room. Later, Kay calls Simone to tell her about how her crazy cousin took Tabitha's doll to bed with her.
Tabitha returns home, thinking Timmy has run home, and she announces that she forgives for running away when her back was turned. When he doesn't answer, she begins looking around for him. She can't find him anywhere, so she decides to concentrate on the bird. Suddenly, Timmy walks in and Tabitha asks him what kind of party he's been attending? Timmy says that Kay dressed him up, and Tabitha laughs at him. Timmy says that Kay is as evil as she is, and he tells her everything that Kay did to him. Tabitha tells him that it is his own fault for caring about Charity. Timmy tells Tabitha that if he hadn't been in Charity's room he never would have learned that Kay hid the statue in Charity's room! Tabitha says all she has to do is find a way to get the bird back. She plans to let TC and use the bird to lure Charity to their side.
Eve and Julian meet at the Book Cafe, and Eve tells Julian that Charity Standish is having visions of them together in their past. Julian is shocked and asks if anyone else knows about this? Eve says Sam and Grace know about it, but they don't believe her for now. Eve says that the only way Charity could have found out about them is if she overheard him talking about their past. Julian says he did not blab about his past, but Eve says it could have been some night when he was drunk and blabbing. Julian says he never did such a thing, and perhaps someone else has found out about their past. He asks if anyone else has been checking up on her? MEanwhile, Chad arrives and notices that someone is in the Book Cafe, so he decides to check it out. Back inside, Eve tells Julian about her patient, Orville Perkins, who had the information on her past. She explains how he hid it in a bird statue, and how she burned his apartment down to get rid of the evidence. Julian says that he remembers those photo sessions fondly, but he doesn't want anyone to find out about them because he'd be paying blackmail for the rest of his life. Eve says that TC can never find out about them because he already hates him for something he did to him a long time ago. Just as Julian is about to tell Eve why TC hates him, Chad shows up asking if anyone is in here. Eve hides, and Chad finds Julian standing in the middle of the Book Cafe. Chad recognizes him, and asks him what he is doing here? Julian asks him what he is doing here? Chad says he works for the owner Beth. Julian says he owns it, Beth just runs it. He claims he came here to check for a book he needed. Chad buys the story, until he sees someone hiding behind a bulletin board! He doesn't realize it is Eve, but he does get a good look at her shoes. Chad runs into TC and Sam outside, and Chad tells them why he is here. He says that he came here to drop off Whitney's date's car because he got wasted, and he noticed the lights on inside so he went to check on it. He tells them that Julian Crane is inside claiming to be looking for a book, but he knows he has a woman in there. TC says that Julian Crane is a pig, and he wonders what type of woman would be involved with Julian Crane. Chad leaves, and TC decides to go confront TC and remind him that he is no better than anyone else. Sam stops TC from going in, and TC guesses Sam is right, it is none of their business if Julian Crane is cheating on his wife. TC then tells Sam that he is starting to feel sorry for Ivy as well, because it must hurt to know you can't trust the man your married to. Back inside, Eve is shaking after narrowly avoiding being caught by TC. Julian tells her to relax, nobody caught them. Eve says she has to get home, but Julian asks what the rush is, and he starts to get fresh with her. Eve damns Julian and tells him that she'd never cheat on her husband!
Sam returns home and Grace asks who was at the Book Cafe? Sam says it was Julian, and says he must have been looking for a book.
At the Youth Center, Hank shows up and "Luis" tells him that last night he did something which is going to change his life. The phone rings, and Hank answers it. It is a roofer calling for "Luis." "Luis" talks to him, and writes down some numbers. Hank asks him where he's going to get that kind of money? "Luis" says he'll tell him later, because he has a meeting to go to.
At the mansion, Julian congratulates Alastair because his plan seems to be working. Alastair says of course it is because it is his plan. He tells Julian to take the money and meet their new friend. Alastair is convinced that there is no way Sheridan and Luis will be together after this.
Julian waits for someone at the train tracks. The person shows up, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, and Julian presents him with a whole lot of money. The man comes out of the shadows, and when he pulls down his hood, it is "Luis!" Julian asks him what he's going to do with all this money? "Luis" says he has some plans for it. Julian tells him that he's sick of looking at his face, so "Luis" rips off the latex mask he's wearing. Julian asks him if Sheridan bought his act, and the imposter says she bought it hook, line, and sinker. Julian tells him to make sure he gets rid of the mask and the mold of Luis face, because they don't want any clues left behind.
Back at the Youth Center, the real Luis shows up and Hank tells him that he got an estimate on air conditioning his whole house. Luis looks at the estimate and says it isn't bad. Hank asks him how he's going to get the money to pay for a new roof and air conditioning? Luis says he made a major drug bust last night, and it looks like he's going to be making detective. Hank tells Luis that he thought for a minute that Sheridan was helping him out, but Luis says he'd never take money from a woman. Hank says that must mean he and Sheridan wouldn't make a good couple? Luis says there is something else he has to tell him, he likes Sheridan and he thinks she likes him. He even bought her a card, and he thinks he could get serious about Sheridan. Hank can't believe he is hearing this. Luis says that Sheridan gets to him like no other woman has, and she may be the one. Hank can't believe what he is hearing. When Luis says perhaps his sister is right and love can get you past differences, Hank asks him if there was a pod by his bed this morning? Luis says no. Hank tells him that he likes Sheridan a lot too, and he's not backing out of the race. Luis understand, and they both agree to let the best man win. Hank says he's been here long enough, so he's got to head out.
At the Russells, Whitney and Theresa get all dressed up to be interviewed for the honor society. Eve is upset with Whitney for wearing her new shoes, the ones she wore last night, but agrees to let her where them for this occasion. Whitney and Theresa head out to the Book Cafe for breakfast before their interviews. After they leave, Eve thinks about the Book Cafe and wonders how she let any man take advantage of her. TC walks into the kitchen and asks what man took advantage of her? Eve claims she was talking about a salesman, she let him sell her some ridiculous merchandise.
At the Book Cafe, Chad can't help but wonder who Julian Crane was fooling around with last night. Whitney and Theresa come in, and when Beth sees Chad staring at Whitney, Beth thinks he has a thing for her. Chad denies it and tells her that she needs some glasses because he does not like Whitney, but Beth doesn't believe him. Chad changes the subject and tells Beth that he ran into Julian Crane here last night, and he had a woman with him. Beth asks who, and Chad says he doesn't know because she was hiding. Anyways, Chad says he thought she owned this place, and Beth tells him that she did once. She says that her mom got sick, and she needed a loan, but the bank wouldn't give it to her. She says the bank, which was owned by Julian, would only buy the place from her, so she had to sell. She says her mom is better now, so it doesn't really matter. Meanwhile, Theresa sees Whitney looking at Chad, and she thinks she likes him, which Whitney denies. Whitney changes the subject and asks Theresa what happened with her and Ethan last night? Theresa says that Ethan kissed her on her cheek, and if her brother and Sheridan can get together, then maybe she and Ethan can to. Later, Chad notices Whitney's shoes, and thinks she is Julian Crane's woman. Chad accuses Whitney of being here with Julian last night, and he accuses her of fooling around with him. Whitney says she is not having an affair with Julian Crane. Chad says someone is, and whoever it is was wearing those shoes. Whitney says perhaps it was someone with a similar pair of shoes, and these aren't even hers, they are her mom's. Chad asks her where her mom was last night? Whitney says her mom is not having an affair with Julian Crane because her parents are happily married, and her mom is not having an affair with Julian Crane. Suddenly, TC shows up (after the events below), and he asks them what they are talking about? Elsewhere, Ethan and Sheridan arrive at the Book Cafe, and Sheridan has to run next door to the Youth Center when she realizes she left her address book there. Theresa approaches Ethan and tells him that she hears there is a romance blooming between their two families. Ethan tells Theresa that she heard wrong.
Over at the Youth Center, Sheridan sees Luis, and a look of anger washes over her face. Luis sees Sheridan, and he asks her if she got her message? Sheridan says she got his message loud and clear, and now she has one for him. She tells him to listen carefully, and then she slaps him!
At the Bennetts, Tabitha tells Timmy to go to Charity and whisper Eve and Julian's names into her ear so she has more visions. Timmy doesn't want to because he loves Charity, but Tabitha issues him a Fluffy threat. Timmy goes into see Charity and whispers "Eve Russell, Julian Crane, Nasty Nasty!" Suddenly, Charity sits up, grabs Timmy, shakes him, and begs Dr. Russell to stop. Charity falls back down onto the bed, and Tabitha rescues Timmy. Timmy asks Tabitha if they can go home now? Tabitha says of course they can, and because it is time to plan step two of the murder!
Tabitha returns home, and she calls TC to ask him please come over and look at the pipes in her kitchen sink. TC agrees to come over, because Eve was heading over to the Bennetts to check on Charity. Eve and TC show up at the Bennetts, and Tabitha greats them outside. Eve goes in to check on Charity, and TC goes to work on Tabitha's pipes. Tabitha tells Timmy that she's about to plant the seeds of rage in TC's head. Tabitha gives TC an old quilt which was used to navigate the slaves from the south to the north. TC says that is how his grandfather got to the north. TC remembers how his grandfather saved to buy himself a farm, but when the courthouse burned down, all records where lost and his family couldn't prove they owned the farm, so they lost it. Tabitha says that is a shame, and points out features of the quilt to TC. She tells him about how the slaves used to meet at a place where there were twin oaks. TC says Twin Oaks was the name of his families farm. Tabitha then mentions that when she was at the Crane Mansion recently she noticed a lovely pair of twin oaks. TC wouldn't put stealing his families land past them, and he asks Tabitha where she got this quilt? Tabitha says she got it at the Crane mansion, it was being thrown out, and TC becomes enraged. He blurts out "Those arrogant bastards!" but quickly calms down. TC thanks her for the quilt, and then leaves.
Back at the Bennetts, Eve checks on Charity, and learns she is seeing herself and Julian in her dreams. She panics and wonders what she is going to do. She wonders why Charity can see what is happening between her and Julian. Tabitha shows up to spy on Eve, who fears TC would kill if he learned about her and Julian's past.
