At the Crane Cabin, police surround the cabin and threaten to shoot if anyone makes a move! They demand the fugitive be turned over, but Sam and Eve both say that Theresa and her baby need care. Theresa passes out again, and Eve begs them to let her take her to the hospital. The trooper says he has orders to return this woman to prison. Eve and Sam claim that Ethan and Theresa did not escape, they were allowed to come up here to deliver the baby in peace. Suddenly, Gwen says something is wrong with the baby! Eve and Sam beg the police to let them get to the hospital, and they eventually agree as well as they come with them.
Back at the hospital, Pilar scolds Ivy and Rebecca for their heartless words regarding her daughter's condition. SHe even thinks that somehow they could be behind this! Theresa and the baby are brought in, and Pilar is informed of their conditions. Meanwhile, Rebecca learns that Theresa stabbed Gwen, and she is not happy at all. Rebecca doesn't understand why everyone is working to save THeresa because she's just going to die in the death chamber. Elsewhere, Ivy scolds her son for what he has done, and he says that Theresa has ruined her life! Ethan says nothing will happen to him, Sam covered for him. Sam says the damage has been temporarily controlled, they'll have to see what happens from here. Eve then announces to everyone that Theresa is stable and fine, but the baby is not doing so good. Eve says they lost a lot of time getting him here, and he isn't as strong as Theresa. Luis, Ethan, and Pilar ask to see Theresa. She allows them to go see her, and they are shocked to find her in handcuffs. She asks where her baby is, and no one answers. She asks what is wrong, where is her son? They tell her that the baby is having problems, and they are trying to save him. Theresa blames herself for her baby's health problems. She says she never cared about the baby, she blamed him for all her problems. Meanwhile, Ivy overhears Sam on the phone and worrying about his own future, and she begins to crumble and tells Rebecca that her plan is falling apart. She says Ethan could still go to jail, Sam could lose his badge, and Pilar may lose her grandchild! Rebecca begs her to stay with her just a little while longer, everything will work out. SUddenly, Eve calls a code blue and yells for a crash cart for Theresa's baby!
Down on the islands, Nick has found out that around the time Brian picked up Sheridan, her boat had exploded and she was believed to have been dead and lost at sea. He says neither Brian nor Diana realize who she really is. Stan says the article claims Sheridan's body was identified, but Nick says Alistair and Julian could have just wanted it to appear that Sheridan was dead, and he says he will find out why. Nick wants to get Sheridan in order to get to her trust fund, but he knows that won't happen unless Brian is dead! He realizes that if Brian is murdered, Sheridan will suspect him, which he can't have. Nick says he has to make Brian's death look like an accident, and he decides to use Brian's plans to return to racing against him.
Meanwhile, Brian tells Diana, after a swim, that if anyone tries to take her away from him again, he will kill them! Diana begs Brian not to race cars again, but Brian says he's already made the call. He assures Diana that he will take care of this, and he will be fine. Fortunately, Liz gives Brian a message that his friend in the states doesn't have room for him to race this year. Liz and Diana are happy, but Brian says he will try other friends to help him. HE assures them that he only needs to win one race to pay off her debt. Later, Diana begins to wonder why she isn't having memory flashes of her family when she is having them about the man she loved. She says she must not have loved them, or they must not have loved her. Diana says she is grateful for what she has now, and she hopes to never lose it. Later, Brian gets a mysterious call from someone offering him a car to race and a race to race in. Little does he know, the man who is offering to help Brian works for Nick!
Brian, with Liz and Diana, goes to meet with Randy Harker, as Nick and Stan spy on them from the back. Diana asks Randy how safe the car is, and he assures her that it is safe, and they are much safer then they were years ago when Brian used to race. Brian, Sheridan, and Liz all go for a bite to eat and run into an old friend of Brian's named Jeff. Jeff says he remembers Brian's crash, and he can't believe he's going to get back behind the wheel again. Diana ends up telling Brian, after listening to Jeff, that he can't race again! Brian says with the new safety features in the car nothing will go wrong. Liz is still suspicious of this Randy HArker guy and how he learned Brian wanted to race again. Brian says it is a close knit business, and nothing will go wrong. Meanwhile, Nick pays Randy to do the job, make sure Brian dies in his race car! Nick plans to risk the gas tank in Brian's car to make sure it blows up during the race.
At the hospital, Whitney and Chad show up to see how Theresa is doing. Meanwhile, Theresa blames herself for her baby's condition because she didn't want him and she blamed him for everything that had gone wrong in her life, but when she held her baby she realized how much she loves him. Suddenly, Eve screams the baby has flatlined, and that they are losing him! Theresa screams to be allowed to see her baby. Eve takes him away in order to help him, and a nurse asks everyone to leave because Theresa is getting too excited. Theresa begs to have Ethan stay with her, and the nurse allows it. Pilar decides to go to the chapel and pray. Everyone waits for word of the baby. Grace shows up and learns what is happening. Ivy ends up crying on Sam's shoulder while Grace is off getting coffee, and Grace sees her when she returns. Ivy says she was just worried about Ethan and borrowing Sam. Grace says it is okay, she does not doubt Sam's love for her. Later, David shows up and tells Ivy that no matter what she does to Grace, she will always love Sam. David hopes this incident has shown her she can't destroy Grace and Sam's marriage, but Ivy says all this has shown her is that she and Sam belong together! Ivy tells David that she will continue doing the job she hired him to do!
Luis talks to Beth, and he doesn't understand why this is happening to his family. Luis says he can't loose anyone else he loves, and walks off. Beth says he won't lose her, Sheridan is gone, and she is here, and she won't lose him again! Rebecca surprises Beth and calls her a little hypocrite! Rebecca asks Beth what she would do if Sheridan wasn't really dead? She would plot and scheme and do anything to hold onto Luis, wouldn't she? Beth says she is wrong about her, but Rebecca assures Beth that they are one in the same if they care to be! Beth says she is nothing like her, she is a cold hearted monster. Rebecca says when things are taken away from people, they can become cold hearted monsters. Rebecca knows Beth hates Sheridan for taking Luis from her, and she can admit it to her. Beth tells Rebecca that she is criminally insane! Rebecca tells BEth they are alike, they are both willing to fight dirty to keep their men!
Elsewhere, Chad talks to Ethan while Whitney comforts Theresa. Chad asks Ethan if he loves Theresa. Ethan says he does, but it doesn't matter, Theresa will be taken to prison soon and executed. Back in her room, Theresa cries to Whitney about her baby. Whitney tells her that everyone is praying for him. Whitney leaves and tells Ethan that Theresa wants to see him. He goes to see Ethan, and Whitney runs into Gwen. Gwen tells Whitney that she does love Ethan and she will be with him, and Theresa won't be a problem because she won't be around! Gwen says she isn't trying to be mean, but Theresa won't be able to break them up because she'll be dead! Whitney realizes that even if they save the baby, Theresa will still be separated from him because she is going to be executed now! Meanwhile, Eve continues to work to save the baby. Eve comes to see Theresa, who is once again with Ethan, and Theresa fears that her baby is dead. Eve tells Theresa that the baby is alive, and he's out of danger. Theresa and Ethan hold Theresa's baby boy. Eve tells everyone else that the baby is fine, and they are all relieved. The trooper, who is guarding Theresa, tells Eve that they must take Theresa back into custody now, and produces shackles!
Meanwhile, at the garage Nick and Stan discuss Brian's accident. They have rigged the gas tank to explode when Brian gets up to a certain speed. Randy Harker has no clue what they are up to, but he is worried. Nick pays Randy enough money to ease his worries. WHen Brian shows up, Nick and Stan hide. Brian shows Liz and Diana the other woman in his life, his car. Brian dotes over the car, and basically falls in love with it. After Brian and the gang leave, Nick and Stan sabotage the race car!
On the chicken truck, Julian sees a story in the paper about Theresa's execution. Julian realizes he can't go back to Harmony until his little taco belle is executed. Realizing Timmy will want to save Theresa, Julian hides the paper from him. MEanwhile, Timmy has discovered a way for them to make money. Timmy realizes this is their stop, so he pushes Julian off the truck and jumps himself. Timmy and Julian end up at the headquarters of the PWF Wrestling league. Timmy meets with a man, and strikes a deal. Julian asks Timmy what the hell they are doing here? Timmy says they are here to make big bucks. Julian thinks Timmy is nuts if he's going to wrestle. Timmy tells Julian that he's going to be the one wrestling! Julian refuses to wrestle, and says they are getting out of here. However, a mean looking man tells Julian that he's not going anywhere, his manager has signed him to a contract! Julian is shocked to learn Timmy posed as his manager and signed him up to wrestle. Julian reads the contract, and realizes he is legally obligated to wrestle. Julian suits up in a ridiculous business man's outfit, and Timmy dresses up in a mini Don King like outfit! Julian then meets who he is wrestling, a tough mama named Big Dog!
At the hospital, Eve tries to come up with excuses to keep Theresa here, but the troopers are determined to take her back to the hospital. Luis is outraged, but Sam tells him there is nothing they can do. Luis slams his hand down on a counter, and Eve looks at him to make sure he didn't break his hand. It's not broken, but she does bandage it. Miguel shows up and learns from his mom what has happened with Theresa. Sam reasons with the guard to let Theresa spend a little more time with the baby. Elsewhere, Rebecca tells Ivy that things have turned out the way she told her they would, but Ivy says Sam and Ethan could still end up in trouble. Rebecca says that is her own fault for revealing where Theresa and Ethan were.
Theresa ends up naming her baby Ethan Martin, with Ethan's permission. Suddenly, the guards show up and tell Theresa that it is time to go. Ethan, however, refuses to let Theresa go! Ethan calls a judge to try and get a last minute appeal, and Theresa's family comes to see her. Her family begs her to end this and tell the truth, but Theresa believes things will work out. Theresa honestly thinks Alistair will save her. Ethan returns with the news that the appeal has been turned down, and that Theresa must be taken back to prison. Theresa still insists that she will be freed, and when that happens, they will have a big party. Theresa then says goodbye to her family, friends, and her baby, and is then taken away.
At the mansion, Ivy and Rebecca begin their celebration of Theresa's execution. One of the maids is upset, and she says Theresa was kind to the entire staff and she was the best thing to happen to this house. The maid leaves, and Rebecca can't believe Theresa was nice to the help, and says that is so new age. Rebecca turns on the TV and finds wrestling, which she enjoys. Ivy asks her why, and she says for the sweaty chiseled men in spandex! As Rebecca begins to get all hot and bothered, Ivy wonders why the show isn't being interrupted for news on Theresa's execution. Rebecca assures Ivy that Theresa is still being executed, the only way their plan could be ruined was if Julian was still alive. Still, Ivy says that Theresa has a bad habit of wriggling out of bad situations, but Rebecca says that would only happen this time if Julian came back to life, and that only happens on TV. Suddenly, Julian appears on TV fighting Big Dog. Rebecca notices something familiar about the Masked CEO, and Ivy notices it too. Ivy and Rebecca soon realize that it is Julian! They also recognize Timmy dressed up like his manager. Ivy then realizes that as soon as everyone learns Julian is alive, Theresa will be saved and they will be out on the street! However, Rebecca says perhaps nobody but them will recognize Julian, and nobody will know Julian is alive unless they tell anyone. Rebecca says she bets Julian knows about Theresa's execution, and he's waiting for his murdered to be executed to return to Harmony.
At Sam and Grace's, Theresa's friends and family gather as Ethan works to find some way to save Theresa. Sam and Grace work on a crib for the baby, and Miguel brings family photos over to decorate the baby's room. Luis is taking all of this hard, and he thanks Beth for being here for him. Beth tells herself that he will never be without her. Ethan tries the best he can to find some way to save Theresa, but soon realizes there is nothing he can do! However, Ethan soon realizes how he can help her. He says he needs to stop trying to get the conviction overturned, when he should be trying to stop the execution. Ethan decides to talk to the governor about this. Miguel asks why the governor would do this? Ethan says the governor worked for his grandfather Winthrop when he was governor, so Ethan heads out. Beth tries to calm Luis' nerves while they wait for Ethan to call. Luis still blames himself for this, but Beth says he gave Theresa everything she needed. Luis still thinks he could have done more. Luis thinks if Theresa had seen a real family, if he had married her (Beth) and not have protected Theresa so much, she would have grown up with a sense of reality. Beth tells him that he doesn't know that. Luis says he does know that he made a horrible mistake denying himself a life with her, they could have had it all. BEth tells him that it isn't too late, and he realizes that she is right. Luis tells BEth that it is time they begin discussing their future, and marriage. Hank interrupts their conversation by saying that Pilar needs to see Luis. Luis promises Beth that they'll pick this up later. Hank tells BEth that he's happy for her and Luis. Beth then leaves to go call her mom and check up on her. Hank looks at some of the pictures Luis was looking at earlier, and wonders where the picture of Luis and Sheridan went to. MEanwhile, Beth looks at the picture, which she swiped, and she says that Luis is all hers now!
Ethan shows up at the Governor's mansion and demands to see the governor. He is told that he can't see the governor, but he says this is a matter of life or death! Meanwhile, in the governor's office, Alistair comes to see the governor. Alistair orders the governor to make sure Theresa is executed tomorrow! The governor says there are documents that need to be drawn up and signed, but Alistair says he's taken care of all of that. He then threatens the governor to do his bidding or else! Suddenly, Ethan bursts into the governors chamber and is shocked to see Alistair standing there. Alistair tells Ethan that he is here to use the Crane name and power regarding Theresa's death sentence.
Theresa, in an orange jumpsuit, is shown to her cell as her fellow inmates tell her how cute she is. BErtha, the woman next to her, asks her when her due date is. Theresa says she already had her baby, but Bertha says she meant when is she is going to executed. Theresa says she won't be, and Bertha says yeah right, and laughs at her. Theresa says the Cranes will take care of her, but Bertha says they already have. Bertha assures her that she will die in the death chamber. Later, Theresa has a delusional fantasy of Ethan rescuing her with a pardon.
Down on the islands, Nick and Stan finishing rigging Brian's car. Meanwhile, Brian and Diana make love, and then Brian gets the urge to check on his car. She follows him, and he checks out his car as Nick and Stan watch from the back of the garage. Suddenly, Brian sees something under the hood and wonders what it is.
In Harmony, Ethan shows up at the governor's mansion and is shocked to find Alistair there. Alistair says he is here to use the Crane name and money in regards to Theresa's sentence. Ethan thinks Alistair is going to save Theresa, and keeps calling him grandfather. Alistair finally tells Ethan that he is not his grandfather, and that there is nothing that can be done for Theresa. Ethan soon realizes Alistair wants Theresa to die, and when he sees the order of execution, he goes nuts, rips it up, and becomes violent. Alistair tells Ethan that he takes after Sam, because a true Crane never resorts to using his fists, he gets even!
At the prison, Father Lonigan visits Theresa and begs her to come forward and tell the truth, that she is protecting Ethan. She refuses, because she still believes Ethan will save her because he loves her. Father Lonigan says if Ethan loved her, he wouldn't let her take the fall for something she did. Theresa says he killed Julian for her, this is all her fault, and she's sure Ethan will make things okay. Later, Luis shows up and also tries to talk some sense into Theresa. He is angry because he's thinking about asking Beth to marry him, and if she doesn't stop this fooshiness, she won't be around to see the wedding. Luis becomes chocked up as Theresa continues to say Ethan will save her, and he says he can't stay here any longer. Finally, Ethan drops by to see Theresa and tells her that the governor turned him down, and her execution date has been set. Theresa thinks they'll have time to appeal, but he says it is set for tomorrow! The warden then walks by with a tray full of lethal chemicals, and Theresa ends up fainting!
At Beth's house, Beth takes care of her mother, who wonders why Luis is with her. She says she is nothing compared to that beautiful Sheridan he was with last year! Beth runs out of her mother's room, grabs the photo of Luis and Sheridan, rips Luis out of it, and tells Sheridan that she is dead and she's not coming back! Luis shows up, and Beth heads outside to see him. He just needs someone to be with right now, so she holds him. Meanwhile, Beth's mom finds the photo Beth ripped up, and thinks Luis would just love to see this!
