Luis and Sherdian eventually arrive at the cottage. Luis orders Sheridan into the house, and Sheridan tells Luis that a caveman could teach him some manners. Luis checks out the cottage, and Sheridan calls him a nut. She asks if he is going to call the station house to have them check lover's point for evidence? He says he'll call after he checks out her bedroom, but Sheridan says she would like to put some medicine on her scratches! Luis, thinking the hitman couldn't have beat them back here, decides to call the station now. Sheridan goes into her room, unaware that someone is already in there! The minute she walks into her room, a dark figure grabs her and covers her mouth!
On the boat, Julian sees Eve and in his drunk state says "My Evey Weavy!" and lunges for her. Eve tells him to get away from her, but he ends up on top of her! Unfortunately TC catches them and is furious. TC warns Julian to get his hands off his wife, and then gives him an evil look. TC starts pummeling Julian as Eve screams for him to stop. Eve tells TC to stop it, and says nothing is going on. Eve claims she lost her balance when she was walking down the corridor, and a drunk Julian lost his balance when he tried to help her. Julian's face is black and blue, and TC warns Julian to stay away from his wife and family, or next time he will kill him. After they leave, Julian swears TC will pay for this.
Grace is locked in a state room, thanks to Ivy, and screams for help. Meanwhile, Ivy finds Sam, who is not thrilled to see her. Ivy tells Sam that she needs to tell him about their secret, the secret which will bind them together forever! Sam isn't the mood to play games, and he says he won't listen to her pathetic attempts to force him to feel something for her. He tells her it is over, but as he tries to walk away, Ivy grabs him and says it is not over!
On deck, Chad and Whitney spy on Ethan and Theresa as Theresa finally tells Ethan that she is in love with him. Whitney can't believe she did it, but Chad says you got to love her. Ethan says "You mean your grateful to me for taking you to the prom and love me as a friend," but Theresa tells him not as a friend. Theresa tells him that her love goes much deeper, she loves him with all of her heart. Ethan tells her that she doesn't know what she is saying, but Theresa tells him that she does. He tries to convince her that she's just caught up in the romance and should go get something to drink. Theresa refuses to let him walk away. She tells him that she has wanted to tell him this since he kissed her, but he says she took that kiss the wrong way, it was supposed to be a friendly kiss. Theresa tells him that was not a friendly kiss, it was a kiss between lovers. Whitney fears Theresa is going to get her heart broken, but Chad thinks Ethan is trying to figure a way to tell her that he loves her too. Whitney doubts that, but Chad thinks he should give Ethan a chance. Chad is still betting that Ethan will pick Theresa.
Meanwhile, Gwen is rowing to the boat and swears to rip Theresa apart hair by hair if she is after Ethan. Gwen swears that Theresa will be in for the fight of her life and she will not win.
Tabitha can't believe Timmy told Julian that she is a witch, but doubts it really matters as Charity will take care of all of them tonight. Kay and Miguel show up and ask Tabitha if she has seen CHarity? Tabitha says no, but they'll all know where she is soon enough! Kay and Miguel leave, and Tabitha once again beckons Charity to come to the dark side.
Miguel continues looking for Charity, but nobody has seen her. Miguel wishes he knew what happened, how did a ton of fish guts fall on her? Kay says that trouble follows Charity around, but Miguel says Charity does not have bad luck. Simone warns her not to push this, but Kay says now is her chance. Kay tells Miguel that she loves her cousin, but something terrible could happen to him if he continues to hang around with Charity. A spying Tabitha says Kay is right, and they should all fear Charity when she comes to the dark side. Timmy tells Tabitha that Charity doesn't have a mean bone in her body, and she won't be evil to anyone! Tabitha tells him not to make a bet on that statement.
On the shore, Charity speaks in an evil voice and says "Destroy them, destroy them all!" Suddenly, lightening shoots out of her hands and towards the boat! Charity then asks the forces of nature to bring destruction and death, and blows a huge gust of wind out of her mouth towards the boat. Her pendant continues to glow, and voices beckoning her to come to the dark side.
Back on the boat, a huge gust of wind begins to blow. Miguel wonders where it came from, and Tabitha jokes that she knows where! Reese says that his palm pilot claims there is no storm out there. Miguel tells him to have it checked, but Reese says this storm isn't showing up on the weather bureau's radar! Miguel checks all over for Charity, and Simone fears she may have gotten washed overboard. Kay says that would be terrible, but Miguel would be so grief stricken that he'd need lots of love and comfort.
Meanwhile, Ethan tells Theresa that there are many types of love, the love you feel for your family, a friend, and the love a young girl feels when she is infatuated with someone. Ethan thinks Theresa is infatuated with him, and that what she is feeling is not love. Theresa says she is not infatuated with him, the kind of love they feel for one another is the kind a man and woman feel for one another. Theresa takes his hand and puts it over her heart. Ethan says he is flattered, but she is just a young girl. He tells her that she'll love many guys before she grows up and meets the right man. However, Theresa says she is a woman and she is in love, and she will never love anyone but him. She also senses he feels the same way about her. Ethan says he has grown fond of her, but he is going to marry Gwen. He tells her that what happened tonight will stay between them, Gwen doesn't need to know anything about this because she'd go ballistic if she knew. Theresa tries to make Ethan see she is not just a school girl with a crush, and she asks Ethan what he feels for her.
Gwen finally arrives at the prom boat and tells Miguel that she saw Charity on shore standing on the docks. Miguel is puzzled and wonders how she got there. Gwen says she was acting very strange and seemed to be in a trance. Miguel says he has to get to Charity, but Kay tells him that he can't leave, the sea is too rough and she doesn't want him to die! Miguel says that she won't be rid of him that easily, and hops into the rowboat. Kay says if Miguel dies it will be all her fault. Simone tells her yes it will be, and asks if she can't see how hopeless this all is? Kay prays to God to let Miguel make it to shore safely, and she thinks that Miguel does love her because before he left he gave her a peck on the cheek. Simone, who has had it, tells Kay that Miguel and Charity will never break up, is he not risking his life to get to her right now? Kay says she is so sick of hearing about Charity, Charity be damned! Suddenly, a bolt of lightning zaps down and is only inches from frying Kay to a crisp! Simone says that they are going to hell for what they've done!
Gwen shows up and finds Theresa in Ethan's arms. The boat rocked, and sent her into Ethan, but Gwen doesn't know that. Gwen asks them if she is interrupting something? Ethan asks Gwen what she's doing here? Gwen says she is here to fight for the man she loves! Whitney and Chad can't believe this. Whitney wants to help Theresa, but Chad says this is something the three of them must deal with this on their own. He also doesn't want her risking her life by going outside to help Theresa. Whitney asks why, what do I mean to you? Chad can't believe she doesn't get it, and takes her inside. BAck on deck, a huge wave ends up washing Gwen overboard! Ethan runs to save her and he begs her to hold on. Ethan grabs her arm and she is holding onto him for dear life as Theresa clings to the railing. When a wave hits Ethan, Theresa runs towards him and holds onto him. Ethan tells her to get back, she doesn't need to die with them. Theresa says that she won't let him die because she can't live without him!
As Ivy is trying to tell Sam her secret, the boat begins to rock. Sam tells Ivy that no matter what she says there is nothing he can do to come between him and Grace because they share children together, and that is a bond that can never be broken. Ivy says that is why what she has to tell him is so important, but Sam tells her to save her secret for someone who cares! Sam walks off, but Ivy knows Sam will come back to her because of Ethan. Later, Ivy runs into Julian and tells him that he looks awful! She thinks perhaps he should lay off the sauce. Julian tells her that TC Russell just beat him severely. Ivy wonders what he did to deserve this, was he with Eve when TC caught them? She wonders what Alistair would think about this! Julian asks if she's going to tell him? Ivy says he knows everything, he is probably watching them right now. Julian says if that is true, he probably knows what she is up to, and Julian vows to find out what that is.
Sam asks TC what happened to his hand? Eve was taking care of it. TC says he decked Julian Crane, which upsets Sam. Sam says he hopes Julian doesn't try and pay TC back, but TC says he doesn't care because the Cranes are nothing but pots. Sam looks at Ivy and says he couldn't agree more. He then says he can't find Grace and asks if they've seen her? They say no, so she decides to go find her because the weather is getting bad. Meanwhile, the storm continues to worsen, and water starts to leak into the room Ivy locked Grace in!
Sam announces to everyone that they will be heading back to port soon, and then asks if anyone has seen his wife? Everyone says no, so Sam continues searching for her. Ivy still tries to tell Sam about her secret, but Sam says he must find Grace. Sam realizes, by Ivy's reaction, that she knows where Grace is. Ivy assures him that Grace is fine, she just needed a few minutes to talk to him. Sam asks where she is? Ivy says she saw her go down below, so Sam tells her to take him to his wife right now! Meanwhile, the porthole in the room Grace is stuck in finally blows, sending water flooding into the room! Grace holds the window closed as Ivy and Sam search for her. Ivy says that all these corridors look the same. Sam warns her that if his wife is in danger he will forget about being a gentleman and make her regret this! Sam manages to find Grace, but the door is jammed. He warns Ivy that if anything happens to Grace she won't have to worry about his love anymore, she'll have to worry about his hatred!
Back at the dance, TC tells Eve that the captain says he's never seen a storm this bad and is radioing the mainland for help.
Timmy and Tabitha are on deck celebrating with some Martimmys, but Timmy doesn't think this is a good time to be drinking. He says that he can't swim, and if this boat goes down, he will sink like a stone! Timmy says Miguel was smart to get off this boat when he still could. Tabitha thinks Timmy might be right after all, it is getting a bit rough out here. Tabitha realizes she's created a monster. Suddenly, a huge wave approaches, and Tabitha screams.
Back on the docks, Miguel finds it odd that there is no storm here. He sees Charity and runs towards her. Charity is still chanting about death and destruction to the ship of fools and how they should all die. Miguel runs up to Charity and asks her what is wrong with her? Charity glares at Miguel, who is struck down by lightening! The voices in Charity's pendant continue to urge her to kill them all, and Charity is happy to oblige.
At the cottage, Sheridan is grabbed from behind, and thrown onto her bed. She screams for Luis, who bursts in with his gun drawn. He is shocked when he realizes the intruder is Hank. Hank claims he let himself in to surprise Sheridan, he has filled her bedroom with flowers. He claims he grabbed her so she wouldn't scream, and he just wanted some private time with her without Luis finding out. Sheridan thinks it is sweet, but Luis thinks it was stupid. Luis gets a call from the station and learns there was no evidence of the hit man at the point. Sheridan and Luis then bicker. Later, Luis gets another call about the prom boat. Luis wants to go check it out, but can't leave Sheridan. Sheridan says she'll be fine here with Hank. Luis thinks she will be safe with Hank, so he leaves. Later, Hank is called by his mysterious bosses and ordered to kill Sheridan! Hank looks at Sheridan, who is clueless. Down on the docks, Luis talks to the Harbor Master, who thinks the SOS call from the boat is a prank because there is no storm showing up on the radar.
On the boat, Eve and TC help Sam to free Grace. The porthole finally blows, and the room begins filling with water. Grace asks Sam to tell Noah and the girls that she loves them, but Sam assures her they will rescue her. As TC and Sam work to free her, Eve warns Ivy that if anything happens to Grace she will do what TC did to Julian to her, only far worse. Fortunately TC and Sam save Grace, and Ivy is disturbed by Sam's proclamation of love for his wife.
Theresa helps Ethan pull Gwen to safety, and then Whitney gets Theresa far away from Gwen. Gwen demands to know if Theresa is in love with Ethan, but Ethan says no really isn't the time to discuss this. Chad shows up and asks Ethan to help him, so they take off. Gwen says she will get to the bottom of this one way or another. She sees Theresa and goes towards her, only to run into Julian. Julian starts telling Gwen that she has to learn to look the other way at Ethan's discretion once they are married, after all Ethan is a Crane. Gwen tells him that Ethan is nothing like him, thank God! Julian tells her if she really believed that then she wouldn't be here, would she? Next she runs into Ivy, who assures Gwen that there is nothing going on between Ethan and Theresa! Gwen tells Ivy that this is something between Ethan, Theresa, and herself, and she must get to the bottom of it. Meanwhile, Theresa has found Ethan running around on deck and she tells him that if they are going to die, she wants her last memory to be of him kissing her.
Sam talks with the captain, who radioed the station about the storm. The funny thing is, the storm isn't showing up on the radar, and neither is their ship! Reese starts going into his paranormal stuff, but Sam tells him not now. He asks Reese and Chad to check out the life boat situation in case they have to abandon ship. Unfortunately, most of the lifeboats where knocked off the ship, and there aren't enough left for everyone on the boat! Suddenly, Reese notices a glass rolling on the floor in one direction and he says that means the boat is sinking. Sam asks God for help, because they are all going to die if they don't get some help from somewhere.
Tabitha and Timmy are washed overboard, and Timmy sinks like a stone. Tabitha fears she has lost him, and as Celine Dion sings the Titanic theme, she recalls all her happy moments with Tim-Tim. Suddenly, the flipper music plays and Timmy goes swimming by on the fin of his new dolphin friend. Unfortunately, Tabitha informs him it is a shock! The flipper theme soon turns into Jaws! Tabitha and Timmy manage to make it to shore, but Timmy's hair has turned white. Tabitha had some herbs in her pouch and turned the shark into a minnow, they then see Charity on the docks wreaking havoc on the prom boat, and Miguel is lying next to her. Tabitha hopes he is dead, but Miguel starts to stir. Tabitha sends Charity a subliminal message to kill Miguel. Miguel asks Charity what is wrong with her? Suddenly? Charity's eyes glow red, and she begins to strangle Miguel!
On the docks, Luis tries to convince the Harbor Master to take a boat out and check on the prom boat. The Harbor Master says the SOS is probably a joke, and refuses. Luis convinces him to call the boat, so he does. Unfortunately, the boat won't answer. However, the Harbor Master says the captain probably just didn't hear the call with the prom going on. Luis wants to take the patrol boat out, but he refuses. He tells him that he's probably worried about nothing and suggests he goes home and gets a good night's sleep. The Harbor Master tells him to take the police chopper out if he is so worried, but Luis says it was taken to Bridgetown for a bank robbery. Luis decides to take Sam's boat out, but the Harbor Master refuses and says nobody can take the chief's boat without his permission. Luis becomes fed up, decks the Harbor Master, and takes Sam's boat.
Pilar, Sheridan, and Hank show up and find Nate. He is angry with Luis for punching him, but Pilar says the storm and danger to the boat is real. Nate says he'll forgive Luis this time, and he calls the coast guard and hopes everyone got off. Sheridan says they just saw Julian driving home, so he got off. However, Hank wonders where everyone else is. Later, Hank's mystery boss meets him on the docks and tells him that he must kill Sheridan Crane tonight! Elsewhere, Pilar and Sheridan see the wreckage of the ship floating in the water. Pilar cries for Miguel and Theresa, and Sheridan cries for . . . Luis!
At the church, the angel girl tells Father Lonagin that evil has taken control of Harmony, and she is powerless against it. She tells him that he is their only hope. Father Lonagin begins to pray.
Elsewhere on the docks, Miguel stands up and tells Charity that everything will be okay now that they are together again. Suddenly, Charity's eyes glow red and she begins to choke Miguel! Timmy feels sorry for Charity because if she would never do this to Miguel. Tabitha says that is because the pendant is taking over, long live the bad Charity! Miguel begs Charity to stop. Timmy also begs Tabitha to stop Charity from killing Miguel. Tabitha says she can't, the prophecy says Charity must kill Miguel in order to join the dark side. Tabitha tells him that if she can pull this off, her friends in the basement will be very impressed. Timmy tells Tabitha that someone is coming this way who won't be impressed! Father Lonagin shows up, and Tabitha does her best to try and trip him. Father Lonagin tells Tabitha that he knows she is here, and he tries to banish the evil forces. Tabitha wishes she still had her powers so she could show that priest a thing or two. The priest finds Charity and Miguel and starts speaking about how goodness will overcome the evil. Timmy is afraid, but Tabitha thinks the powers of the pendant are stronger than the powers of goodness. Unfortunately for Tabitha, the priest grabs the pendant from Charity and throws it away. Miguel collapses, and Timmy thinks he is dead. Tabitha says this means that they have won! More bad news for Tabitha, Miguel is alive. Miguel comes too, and the priest says his work is done and leaves. Charity is still in a trance when Miguel asks her why she choked him? Tabitha tells herself that it is because evil has soaked into Charity's subconscious, and she can't wait to see what she does next!
On the Prom boat, Sam announces that they must abandon ship. He tells everyone that if they can't get into a life boat then they should grab a life preserver. Simone is screaming for Chad, and TC wonders where Whitney is. Sam tells them that Chad and Whitney jumped overboard. Eve cries that they must find Whitney, but TC says that Whitney is a good swimmer. Eve says that she can't loose Whitney, she doesn't know what she'd do. Reese shows up and is glad that Kay is safe. He says that she needs to get on a lifeboat, but he refuses to join them. Jessica asks Reese if he is coming? Reese says that he wants to make sure all the other kids get off first.
Ivy calls Pilar and tells her that the boat is sinking so she must call for help. She also cries that she was unable to tell Sam about Ethan, and she could die and Sam will never know he has a son.
Theresa asks Ethan to kiss her once more for all time, because if she is going to die she wants to do so with his kiss on her lips. As he is about to comply, Gwen shows up and asks him what in the hell is going on here, why are they looking at each other in the way that they are? Ethan looks at Gwen and Theresa, and then tells Gwen that they have to get off this boat. Gwen says no, she wants to know if she was right about Theresa? Ethan says nothing, and Gwen says she knew it! Ethan says they can discuss this later, but Gwen says no she wants a yes or no answer right now! Sam shows up and asks them what in the hell they are doing, the last life boat just left and now they have to swim for it. Suddenly, a huge wave sweeps Theresa overboard! Ethan and Gwen are also dumped into the water. Gwen starts crying that this is all her fault, she never should have left him and put Theresa in charge of the wedding. Suddenly, Theresa begins to scream for help. Ethan says he must go save Theresa, but Gwen cries "your not going to leave me to save her?" Gwen says she doesn't think she can make it without him! Ethan tells Gwen that she looks fine, but Theresa doesn't look like she is going to stay afloat. Gwen cries that she is his fiancee, the one he loves. Ethan says he can't let Theresa drown! Ethan rescues Theresa, and she thanks him. She says she knew he'd save her. Ethan brings Theresa over to Gwen, who tells Theresa that she is sorry to tell her that she is alive. Gwen bets Theresa is a champion swimmer, but she says she would have drowned without him. Suddenly they hear a boat, and Theresa realizes it is Luis. As Theresa and Ethan scream for help, Gwen stares at them with hate. Luis helps them into the boat, and then Luis looks for everyone. Ethan fears his mom is still out there, so Ethan and Gwen start shouting for her.
In the life boat, Kay tries to comfort Simone by telling her that this is a test from God to see whether they deserve to be with Chad and Miguel, and she is positive that they will pass and will end up married to Chad and Miguel. Sam makes his way to the boat and thinks that everyone made it off the ship. In the water, Ivy is searching for Sam to tell him about Ethan. She even has a fantasy about Sam coming to her rescue in the water. Back in the life boat, the storm calms down right as Charity losses her pendant. Sam tells TC that Ivy was coming onto him, and as crazy as she makes him, he hopes she got off because there was a time he couldn't live without her. Back in the water, Ivy sees the life boat and tries to make her way to it. Grace suddenly hears Ivy calling Sam's name. Back in the water, Ivy is knocked out by a piece of debris from the prom boat! Grace and Sam see Ivy from their boat, and Grace tells Sam to go save her. Sam dives into the water, but by this time Ivy has gone under!
In the water, Whitney is struggling to stay afloat. Meanwhile, Chad has gone under. Whitney searches for him, finds him, and she helps him because he is hurt. Chad wants to talk about their feelings, but Whitney says this is not the time nor place. Chad says they could die, so he's not moving an inch until she tells him what she feels. Whitney tells Chad that maybe he was right about her hiding behind her tennis and about her wanting someone in her life. Suddenly, Whitney cries out in pain and goes under! Chad rescues her, and she says she has a cramp. Whitney tells Chad to go without her or they will both die, but CHad refuses to leave her.
Elsewhere, Sheridan says Luis must be all right, then quickly covers and says they all must be all right. Sheridan approaches Hank and asks who he was talking to, has something happened to Luis? Hank says that was just a local who wanted to help out with the search. Pilar shows up, she fished the piece of wood with the boat's name out of the water. She begins to cry that Miguel was so excited to go to the prom with his beautiful Charity, and Theresa was so excited because she thought tonight would change her entire life. Sherdian comforts Pilar and says that Luis is out there. Hank wants to help, but can't leave Sheridan. Sheridan says she will be fine, but Pilar says Hank must honor Luis' wish and stay with Sheridan.
In the life boat, Grace screams for Sam, who has jumped in the water to save Ivy. Ivy has gone under, and Sam went to look for her. Grace is scared for Sam, but TC tells her that Sam is a strong swimmer.
Simone is afraid that this is all their fault because what if Charity does have psychic powers, and they triggered them, and she caused the storm? Kay tells Simone that she is just being stupid. Kay then sees someone, and they rescue the person, who turns out to be Reese! Eve puts a blanket around him, and Kay asks what happened? Reese says that he got knocked overboard and lost his glasses. He says he reached around for something to grab, and ended up grabbing Kay's court jester hat, which kept him afloat. Reese asks Kay if she's glad to see him, and she says she is. Suddenly, Simone notices the raft is leaking. TC asks Grace what she wants to do? Grace says that keeping the children safe is more important, and she just hopes Sam can make it to shore.
In the water, Sam saves Ivy's life. He begs her to wake up and orders her not to die on him. Ivy chokes and comes to, and Sam tells her that everything will be okay. Ivy says she knew he loved her. Sam says he loves his wife and he saved her just like he'd save anyone who was drowning. Ivy is delirious and tells Sam that he also saved her on her wedding night, and they will be happy now that they have something which connects them. Sam tells Ivy that what they had ended years ago, he married Grace and she married Julian, they didn't have a child of their own. Ivy tells Sam that she has wanted to tell him this for so long, and it is time he knew. Sam tells her that there is nothing she could say to him to change his mind about her. As they swim closer to shore, Ivy asks "Oh no, where's your son?" Sam says his son is away at school, only his girls were on the boat. Ivy tells him no, their son! Sam says they have no son together, but Ivy tells him that they do! She asks where their son is, did he make it off the boat? Sam asks her if she's talking about Ethan? Ivy tells him yes! Sam comments about how he's sure Ethan is fine, he is a Crane and probably put himself above the others. Ivy tells Sam no, Ethan is HIS son!
Elsewhere, Whitney fears they will die, and she begs Chad to let her go and save himself. She then pushes herself away from him. Chad grabs her and tells her to shut up and listen to him! He tells her to look into his eyes and stay calm. He asks her to just trust him and let him help keep her afloat. Whitney agrees to let Chad help her, but she ends up panicking. To calm her down, Chad plants a kiss on her lips. That shuts her up, and makes her forget about her cramp for awhile. Chad tells her that they are going to let the tide carry them to shore. Whitney starts becoming very tired, and Chad tells her that she mustn't fall asleep. He points out a star to her and tells her to keep looking at that star. They then sing twinkle twinkle little star.
On Sam's boat, Ethan screams for his mother as Gwen tries to calm him down. Luis catches Theresa staring at Ethan, and asks if she is getting another crush on him? Theresa says no. Luis starts talking about how he can't believe they are searching for Ivy Crane. Luis and Theresa start talking about Sheridan. Theresa doesn't understand why certain people who are meant to be together can't see it, yet it is so obvious to everyone else. Suddenly, Theresa hears Chad and Whitney singing, and they save them.
On the docks, Miguel asks Charity why she choked him? Charity is still in a trance, which confuses Timmy. Timmy asks if Charity will be nice now that the pendant is gone? Tabitha says no, evil has already seeped into Charity's subconscious and soon it will take over her soul! The life boat makes it to shore, and Jessica runs up to Charity and hugs her. She asks her how she got off the boat? Charity can't remember, and Miguel tells Grace that Charity is acting very odd. Grace thinks that Charity is still in shock. Meanwhile, Kay, fearful that CHarity might have powers, tells Simone that she will lay off trying to break up Miguel and Charity for awhile. Suddenly, Charity tells Kay that she needs to talk to her about what happened on the boat tonight. Kay says they don't know anymore than she does. Charity is unsure how she got to this dock, and asks if they saw her leave? Kay says she doesn't know. Jessica says maybe someone else brought her to shore? Miguel says it wasn't him. Suddenly, Kay notices the marks on Miguel's neck and asks what happened? Charity is curious about the marks and asks if she should know how they got there? Miguel tells her not to worry about it. Charity remembers choking Miguel, and feels awful. Miguel tries to convince her that she wasn't herself, and he knows she could never hurt him. He then holds Charity.
Luis brings Sam's boat ashore, and Pilar is happy to see Theresa. Luis thanks Hank for guarding Sheridan. Sheridan tells Ethan they saw Julian, but where is Ivy? Ethan says she must still be out there. Luis suddenly gets a call from TC and learns that everyone but Sam Bennett and Ivy Crane are lost. Later, Luis asks Hank to look after Sheridan and stay with her tonight. Les overhears this and tells Hank, when he is alone, to kill Sheridan tonight. Meanwhile, Luis asks Sheridan not to try and run away from Hank. Sheridan informs Luis that she enjoys spending time with Hank, and Luis says he knows Hank feels the same way about her.
Whitney tells Theresa how Chad saved her life. Theresa asks her if she believes Chad loves her now? Whitney changes the subject and asks what happened when Gwen found her with Ethan? Theresa just stares at Ethan. She then says that Ethan hasn't told her that he loves her, but he did leave Gwen to save her. Whitney thinks that perhaps Ethan knew Gwen was a good swimmer, but Theresa knows Ethan was following his heart. Ethan talks to Chad, who admits he didn't think they would make it.
Rebecca is glad to see Gwen, and she says she should have known Ethan wouldn't have let any harm come to her. Gwen informs her mother that Ethan left her to save Theresa. Rebecca is furious, but she is glad Gwen is alive. She decides to have a chat with Theresa. Rebecca walks off, and Ethan talks with Gwen. He apologizes for hurting her by saving Theresa, but Gwen says she doesn't want to talk about it.
Rebecca confronts Theresa, introduces herself, and says they need to have a little talk! Rebecca tells Theresa that she understands she has been helping with Ethan and Gwen's wedding, but now that Gwen is back, her services are no longer needed. Theresa says she is in the middle of important things, which Rebecca is aware of. Rebecca tells Theresa that she's going to give her the benefit of the doubt that she is only doing this to ingratiate herself to Ivy, because she knows she dreams of a career in the fashion industry. Theresa says yes that is true, fashion has always been her dream. Rebecca tells her that is good, but the housekeeper's daughter really shouldn't try to reach for goals beyond her grasp. Rebecca walks away, and Pilar warns Theresa that she was afraid of this. She says that when people like the Cranes of Hotchkiss' feel threatened they put up walls. Theresa exclaims that there isn't a wall high enough to keep her from Ethan! She then approaches Ethan, but Gwen says they are having a private conversation. Theresa says she only wanted to tell Ethan that she is sure his mom is okay. Ethan thanks her, and then thinks about his mother and how she always swore to him that his father was the only man she ever loved.
Timmy tells Tabitha that he's afraid his sweet princesses plans have been foiled again. He tells her that Charity is as sweet as ever, and the pendant didn't bring Charity over to the dark side. Meanwhile, Kay picks up the pendant, and Tabitha tells herself that isn't a good move on Kay's part. Simone recognizes it as Tabitha's present, and Kay decides to give it back. Suddenly, the pendant begins to glow! Kay sees Charity and Miguel together, and realizes that Charity has no special powers and there is no way she's going to let her keep her away from Miguel! Simone thought Kay had come to her senses, hasn't she done enough to break up Miguel and Charity? Kay says she hasn't even started!
CHad talks with Whitney, who thanks him for what he did. Chad tells her not to worry about it, but Whitney says she wouldn't have made it without him. Chad says he won't hold to her anything that happened out there, including what she said when she thought she was going to die.
From the docks, Ethan and Grace spot two people floating in the water. Luis decides to take Sam's boat back out, and Grace wants to go with him. Luis says no, and Ethan tells Grace that Luis is right because there is no telling what they could find out there.
In the water, Sam ask Ivy what she is talking about, Ethan isn't his son! Ivy assures Sam that Ethan is the son they had together! Sam asks how she could keep this from her? Ivy begs him not to tell anyone, even Ethan, because it would destroy him, and Julian would destroy everything! Suddenly, Ethan and Luis pick up Sam and Ivy. Ethan tells his mom that she was so afraid he lost her, but she tells Ethan he has not lost her or his father. Sam wonders if what Ivy said could be true. Ethan notices his mother is bleeding, and then he lays into Sam. He says this whole disaster could have been prevented if the Harmony Police Department did its job. He vows that when he returns to shore he will make sure the person responsible is fired. Luis tells Ethan that is enough! Ethan tells Sam that he is talking about him! Luis lays into Ethan, but Sam tells Luis to let it go. Sam says that Ethan is just upset about his mother. Luis wonders why Sam is so defensive of the Cranes, especially that rich snob Ethan. Ethan continues to yell at Sam, telling him that his job is over in this town. Ethan says that it is his job to save and protect the citizens of Harmony, and like it or not his mother is a citizen of this town. Sam asks Ethan if his mother looks safe to him? Ivy becomes upset and tells Ethan that he can't talk to Sam like that, not when he is his . . . Ethan asks his mother what Sam is to him? As Ivy is about to tell him, she passes out. Ethan continues to yell at Sam, but Luis tells the little punk that nobody knew about this storm, it was a freak of nature. Ethan tells Luis if he wants to lose his job too then he should keep talking! Luis asks Ethan to try and take it from him, and they almost get into a fight. Sam breaks it up, and Luis wonders what has gotten into Sam. Sam says the important thing is to get Ivy some help. Sam goes to call the shore, but Ethan says he'll do it because she is his mother, she doesn't mean anything to Sam.
On the docks, Kay has changed her mind, thank to the pendant, and is more determined than ever to drive Charity crazy. Simone tells Kay that she is the one who needs to be committed. Simone thinks their bad karma caused the storm and almost killed their parents, her dad is still missing! Kay says she is not worried about her dad because he is a great swimmer, all she is worried about is how to drive Charity insane.
Charity tells Miguel that she feels so awful about choking him, but Miguel tells her that she wasn't herself. Eve looks at Charity and thinks she still may be in shock. Eve wants to take the kids home, but doesn't want to leave the docks without hearing about Sam. Tabitha says hello to everyone, and they ask what happened to her doll's hair? Tabitha says the sea water must have messed up the dye in his hair, and she will fix it when she gets home. Tabitha then offers to take the kids home and watch them. Eve thanks her and tells the girls to go with Tabitha to the Bennetts.
Rebecca informs Gwen that she told Theresa that her services are no longer needed. Gwen is glad because she doesn't trust Theresa. Rebecca assures her that Theresa is after Ethan, so she needs to keep her eyes open! Rebecca wants Gwen to confront Theresa and tell her that she knows the games she is playing, but Gwen doesn't know. Rebecca says fine, if Gwen won't do it, then she will!
Pilar and Whitney try to talk some sense into Theresa, but Theresa says that nothing can keep her from Ethan. Theresa says that when Ethan returns he will have to choose between her and Gwen, and she is positive that he will chose her. Pilar tells Theresa that the Cranes and Hotchkiss' have been planning Ethan and Gwen's marriage since they were children. Theresa says that is just it, Ethan isn't really in love with Gwen, he is just following his family's wishes. Pilar warns her that those families will let nothing interfere with that marriage. Suddenly, Rebecca grabs Theresa and warns her to stay away form Ethan! Pilar tells Mrs. Hotchkiss to take her hand off her daughter and never speak to her like that again! Rebecca gives Pilar a "how dare you speak to me" line and says she is only a housekeeper. Pilar says she is Theresa's mother, and she will not allow anyone to talk to her daughter that way! Pilar asks the others to excuse them while she talks with Rebecca. Pilar warns her that she may have wealth and power, but she cannot intimidate her family. Rebecca says that her daughter needs to know she can't go after Ethan, because Ethan is Gwen's. Pilar says their daughters need to work this out on their own. She then tells Rebecca that if she ever lays a hand on her daughter again, all her money and power won't help her. Rebecca asks, Pee-Lar, if she is threatening her? Pilar says she doesn't make threats, she makes promises!
Whitney talks to Theresa, who has decided to tell Gwen that she is in love with Ethan. Whitney tells her that she can't do that because Gwen will make sure she never sees Ethan again. Theresa tells Whitney that she is right. Whitney asks if this means she'll forget about Ethan? Theresa says no, she is just changing her tactics. Theresa says she will come up with a whole new strategy.
Rebecca tells Gwen that she can't believe Pilar talked to her in that manner. Gwen says she's never seen Pilar so angry, and Rebecca says that is because Pilar knows she is right! Rebecca tells Gwen that she must go talk to Theresa right now because her talk with Theresa didn't sink in. Gwen tells her mom that she is right, so she goes to talk to Theresa. Whitney and Pilar warn Theresa to be careful. Gwen tells Theresa that she only has one question, is she in love with Ethan? Theresa acts shocked and asks why she would ask such a thing? Gwen says she is not blind, she sees the way he looks at him and how she always ends up in peculiar situations with him. Theresa reminds Gwen that it was her idea for Ethan to take him to the prom, and she asked her to help plan the wedding. Theresa says the only reason she is spending time with Ethan is because she has asked her to. Gwen asks what she has ever done besides help her plan her dream wedding. What has she done to deserve this? Pilar and Theresa can't believe how good of a liar Theresa is. Gwen totally falls for Theresa's act, but Rebecca knows Theresa is playing games. Rebecca says that now that the wedding plans are nearly completed, she will stay away from Ethan? Theresa doesn't get a chance to answer because Sam, Ethan, Luis, and Ivy return.
Grace is happy to see Sam and she tells him that she is thankful that he is safe and so are all their children. Sam looks at Ethan and says he is glad all their children are safe. Later, Luis talks to Grace about Sam's cool temper dealing with Ethan when they had an argument. Grace says that Ethan and Sam argued earlier on the boat, but Sam didn't take any stuff from Ethan. She wonders what caused Sam to change his attitude. Elsewhere, Eve asks Sam if Ivy talked to her about her big secret. Sam says she did, but he can't talk about it. He says he can't believe it is true, and Eve says that is because it probably isn't true. Eve has to leave to tend to Ivy, and Sam continues to wonder if Ethan could be his son. Ethan and Rebecca decide to take Ivy home, and Gwen goes with them, but not before giving Theresa a look. Meanwhile, Theresa tells Pilar and Whitney that she is going to the Crane mansion to get Ethan to admit that he loves her. Pilar thinks this could get ugly, but Theresa thinks that it is time it does! Theresa says she will fight for Ethan because he is worth it.
Tabitha and the kids return to the Bennetts. Kay is still wearing the pendant, which is glowing. Grace calls and tells Jessica that her dad is okay, and she also asks her to go over to the Bed and Breakfast and make sure everything is okay. Jessica and Kay hug, they are happy that their father is safe. Later, Miguel puts Charity to bed, and Kay tells Simone about all the little things she is going to start doing to Charity to make her start doubting her sanity. Kay then says she will work up to bigger things! Tabitha tells Timmy that the pendant is turning Kay into the biggest bitch in Harmony. Later, Kay leaves the pendant on the table, and the pendant starts flying around the house. Timmy asks what it is doing? Tabitha says it is doing its job, spreading evil! Kay and Simone return to the living room and find that Kay has a rash on her hand in the shape of the pendant where she was holding it. They then begin wondering where the pendant went, and where Tabitha went as well. Upstairs, the pendant floats outside of Charity's room. It waits for Miguel to leave before it goes inside and hovers over Charity. Outside, Tabitha and Timmy watch Charity's window and sees the pendant's light. Tabitha says it is the glow of evil, a glow which will penetrate Charity's heart and soul! The pendant starts urging Charity to join the dark side because the time has come for evil to act.
At the church, the angel girl tells Father Lonagin that evil is still in Harmony, and there are more battles to come. The Angel says this is a war, a war of epic proportions which will test the souls of everyone in Harmony. She says that no one will be exempt from the final battle between good and evil.
