On the prom boat, Ivy manages to steal a moment alone with Sam and says she has something important she must tell him because it will change his life forever. Sam says he doesn't want to hear it, and storms off. Ivy then gets a call from Julian, who orders her over to the Seascape for the 4th of July party. Ivy says she can't go because she's on the prom boat helping to chaperone. Julian is not pleased, and Ivy hangs up on him. Ivy then steals another moment alone with Sam, but Julian shows up and ruins it. Tabitha, who was spying on them, thinks this is her chance to get revenge on the Cranes, who she's hated for generations. She ends up changing the signs around to make them get lost, and by time they find their way to the deck, the boat has already set sail.
In the main hall, Chad and Whitney are arguing about Theresa and Ethan when they happen to show up. Whitney confronts Theresa, who tells her that fate has brought her here with Ethan, and she will tell Ethan that she loves him tonight. They even have their photograph taken. The photographer offers to take a photo of Whitney, and Chad steps in so she won't have to be photographed alone. However, Simone sees this and runs in between them and clings to CHad's side.
Ethan spots Sam and they start to talk. Ethan feels Sheridan needs another bodyguard, but Sam says the FBI is in charge of the case, so he can't do a thing. Ethan demands he do something, but Sam tells him to beef up Crane security if he is so concerned. When Ethan threatens to go to the Mayor, Sam tells Ethan that he is a public servant, not a Crane servant! Sam walks off and tells TC that he used to think Ethan was a good kid, but when he doesn't get his way he becomes a true Crane just like his father.
Ethan goes to talk to Chad about him saving Whitney's life. Ethan says he must really love Whitney to risk his life for her. Chad gets upset and tells Ethan that if he wants to talk about love, he should just admit that he is in love with Theresa.
Miguel and Charity are dancing on deck, and Charity has a feeling that they've done this before. As the pendant glows, she remembers being on a boat with Miguel and dancing on deck with him, but they were wearing old fashion clothes. Later she has another memory of the boat rocking and going down. The other kids show up, and Reese thinks this is really interesting because he is fascinated by Deja Vu. Kay thinks this is bull, but Simone tells her to shut up because she wants to hear it. Charity remembers that her name was Honora Flemming, and Miguel was Manuel Goncalaz, and that they were on the Titanic! Kay doesn't believe her, but Reese knows a way to prove or disprove the memory. Reese checks his palm pilot and pulls up a passenger list from the Titanic. He says that they were on the Titanic all right, and they went down with the ship! Charity says they have to get off this boat now, but it is too late as they have already left the dock.
Ivy confronts Sam on deck and tells that she must tell him something important. Sam tells her for the last time there is nothing she can tell him that will change his mind about her. Sam walks off, and Ivy says he is wrong, tonight he will learn that he has a son, that Ethan is his and not that son of a bitch Julian's. Julian shows up and asks if he just heard his name taken in vein? Julian wonders what Ivy is hiding from him now. Ivy says she was just thinking of throwing him a surprise birthday party, but Julian doubts that. Grace and Sam show up, and Grace thanks ivy for helping them chaperone tonight. Julian asks when they get off this tub, and Sam says not for another two hours. Julian decides to make the most of the evening, freshens his breath, and takes off in search of hot young thangs. Sam then asks Grace to dance with him to show those kids what real romance is about.
Whitney and Chad are still arguing about Ethan and Theresa. Chad thinks that Whitney should stay out of this, but Whitney can't. They spy on Ethan and Theresa as they are talking. Theresa tells Ethan that he looks upset and asks what is wrong? Ethan recalls Chad telling him that he loved Theresa, and he tells her nothing, someone was just filling his head with nonsense. Theresa then tells Ethan that there is something she needs to tell him, something she should have told him a long time ago. As she is about to tell him, Ivy interrupts and asks to dance with Ethan. Whitney is relieved, and Chad calls her a control freak. He says that is why she prefers tennis over men, because she can control a tennis racquet, but not her feelings for a man. Whitney tells him that he knows nothing about her feelings. Eve shows up and asks Whitney if she has feelings for Chad? Chad covers and says they were talking about the feelings music can bring out in you. TC reminds Chad that he should get back to DJing, so he leaves. TC then asks Eve why she is so upset about Chad and Whitney talking? Eve reminds TC that getting involved with the wrong man can ruin one's life.
Chad makes an announcement concerning the first winners of the night, the best dressed couple. The winners are, of course, Charity and Miguel. Kay tells Simone that she let them win that one, but there is no way she'll let them be queen. Chad then plays a special song for Charity and Miguel, their song, Cross My Heart. Kay and Simone storm off, and Timmy excuses himself to get some air. Tabitha asks Timmy what he's up to? Timmy says nothing, he is a team player. Tabitha tells Timmy to be careful and not let anyone see him. Timmy runs off and spies on Kay as she and Simone switch the ballets. Some pretty girl in a wheel chair asks Kay what she's doing? Kay says she's going to count the ballets, but the girl tells her that everyone knows Charity and Miguel are going to win, so why bother? Kay says they'll just see about that. Under the table, Timmy, who is marking ballets, says that Kay is right, they'll see about that!
Simone asks Chad to dance, so they take to the floor. Whitney is upset by this turn of events, but insists to Theresa that she could care less what Chad does. Theresa tells Whitney that things will change, but WHitney is sick of Theresa's lectures and tells her to go on and just tell Ethan that she loves him. However, Whitney says it won't change a thing, Ethan will still marry Gwen. Theresa tells Whitney that she'll prove her wrong. Later, Chad confront Whitney and tells her if she would give him a chance, he'd show her a whole new life.
Eve is upset when she sees Chad and Simone dancing, but TC tells her to relax. Julian, who has been drinking, pours some of his whisky into Eve's glass to cool her down. Eve ends up telling Julian to go to hell.
Ethan and Sam once again start arguing about Sheridan's situation. Ivy becomes upset and butts in. She tells Ethan that he shouldn't talk to Sam that way, Sam's his . . . Ethan asks "Sam's my what?" Ivy says Sam is his superior and Chief of Police, so he should respect that! Sam and Grace leave, and Ethan asks Ivy about Sam. Ethan thinks Sam harbors a grudge against their family, as if they took something he loved away from then, and father is right, he's gotten a little bit of power and is trying to use it against them, and he doesn't like it! Julian overhears this and is thrilled that Ethan has finally found his Crane manhood.
Everyone gathers and Sam and TC announce the king and queen of the prom. Kay prepares to be named queen, and dump fish guts on Charity. Sam announces the king, and it is Miguel. TC then announces the queen, Charity Standish! Kay is furious, as is Tabitha. Tabitha asks how this could happen? Charity and Miguel hug and kiss. Tabitha overhears the girl in the wheel chair tell another boy that Miguel won, but some guy named Timmy came close to beating him. The boy asks who Timmy is? Tabitha looks at Timmy, who swears he doesn't know anything about this. Meanwhile, Kay finds Jessica on the deck dumping Kay's fake ballets over the side, and she is furious! Kay goes back inside, and Charity and Miguel crown Kay the court jester! Kay is forced to wear a jester cap and carry Charity's train while she walks among her subjects. Kay is then forced to kneel while Charity knights her! Charity ends up whacking Kay with the wand, and apologizes and says Kay moved her head and the wand was heaver than she thought. Kay is devastated and tells Simone that she's never been more humiliated in her life, but she will have her revenge when she drowns Charity in fish guts!
Theresa manages to get Ethan alone again and tells her that he has something important she needs to tell him. Later, Tabitha spikes Julian's flask with some herbs in order to get her revenge on the Cranes. As Grace and Sam dance, Eve tells Ivy that if she goes through with her plan she will destroy all of their lives, including her own. She asks Ivy is she is prepared to accept the consequences? Ivy says she is prepared for everything, whatever happens, happens!
Elsewhere, Miguel excuses himself from the floor to get himself and Charity some punch. Kay and Simone get ready to douse Charity with fish guts. Suddenly a song comes on which Charity likes, and she wishes she had someone to dance with. She decides to dance with Timmy, and asks Tabitha if she minds? Charity takes the Timmy doll, and Timmy smiles as Charity dances with him. Suddenly, Kay releases the fish guts!
At the Seascape, Roger, over the phone, orders the hitman to kill Sheridan. Sheridan steps out of her red convertible and exclaims "free at last!" Sheridan doesn't think Roger would send a hit man this far, and she is in no danger. Meanwhile, the hitman takes aim at Sheridan's back. Fortunately, Luis shows up and is furious with Sheridan. The two start arguing, and the hitman can't get a clear shot at her. Sheridan tells Luis that he has been wrong about everything so far, so she doubts her life is in jeopardy. Luis asks if she really wants to risk it. Sheridan walks out and starts screaming to anyone out there hiding in the bushes to kill her now. Luis tells her not to be a fool and rushes to block any shots. He tells her that she's acting like a child! The hitman asks Roger if he can take them both out, but Roger says no, taking the cop out would bring too much heat on them. As Sheridan and Luis continue to argue, the hitman tries to get a clear shot at Sheridan. Luis tells Sheridan that if something happened to her it would destroy someone, someone who is close to her and cares about her. Sheridan asks him who he is talking about? Luis says he was talking about Ethan, Ethan would be devastated if anything happened to her. Sheridan and Luis eventually come to an agreement, he'll let her go to the dance, as long as she promises not to pull anymore stunts like this one. The hitman promises Roger that Sheridan Crane will go down, and he follows them into the dance.
Sheridan's snobby friends all approach Sheridan and give her kisses. They ask her who THAT is, referring to Luis. SHe says it is her bodyguard, and she explains her situation. They tell her that if she must have a bodyguard he might as well be gorgeous! Luis blushes when he hears this, and they think it is cute, but Sheridan says that Luis does not blush. One of them, Pheobe, asks Sheridan if anything is going on between her and the hunk? Sheridan says no, so she tells her to get something going on! Pheobe asks how he looks out of his clothes, but SHeridan says she wouldn't know. Pheobe can tell by the expression on Sheridan's face that she has seen Luis naked, but she promises not to say a word. Pheobe ends up telling Sheridan that if she's not going to make a move with Luis, then she will! Warren shows up and sees Sheridan, and then he sees Luis. Luis promises not to tackle Warren, and leaves them alone. One of the women says that the fireworks are about to begin, so they go out to watch them. Luis can't find Sheridan, and wonders where she is. He ends up spotting her, in Warren's arms being kissed!
At the mansion, Gwen tells Pilar that she doesn't know how to thank Theresa enough for all her work on the wedding, and jokes that it is almost like Theresa was planning her own wedding. Suddenly, Gwen's mother Rebecca shows up to help with the wedding. Gwen is thrilled to see her mom, who is supposed to be in Denmark. Rebecca asks Pilar to be a darling and make a pot of tea. After Pilar leaves, Rebecca tells Gwen that she is relieved she gave up that career nonsense and reclaimed her fiance. Gwen tells her mom she doesn't want to get into this again. Rebecca tells Gwen that she must not let Ethan get away from her, and him spending time with another woman is a terrible idea. Gwen says that Ethan loves her and has done nothing but show her that since he returned. Rebecca asks where Ethan is now. Gwen says he is taking Theresa to the prom. Rebecca tells Gwen that she is a fool! Gwen explains everything, and Rebecca says this might be the stupidest mistake a woman has made since Eve took a bite of the apple! Rebecca lays into Gwen and tells her that she is handing Ethan over to the housekeepers daughter, but Gwen says Theresa isn't like that. Rebecca asks Gwen if she has ever seen anything between Ethan and Theresa that might make her think Theresa would make a play for Ethan? Gwen remembers all of Ethan and Theresa's accidental encounters, and Rebecca tells Gwen to go after them and get rid of Theresa for good! Gwen says she will find them right now, and storms off. Pilar returns with tea, and ends up calling Ivy to warn her that Mrs. Hotchkiss is in town. Ivy tells Pilar she has more important things to do tonight, like telling Sam that Ethan is his son! Pilar warns her that she is only courting disaster.
On the boat, Chad and Whitney are spying on Ethan and Theresa. Whitney fears Ethan will reject Theresa, but Chad says his money is on Theresa. Whitney tells him that he knows nothing about love. Chad tells her that if she gave him half a chance he would show her real love.
Theresa tells Ethan that she must tell him something important. Theresa tells him that she's enjoyed spending time with him tonight, and these past few months. Ethan tells her that she is a terrific girl and he enjoys spending time with her too. She tells Ethan that when he kissed her . . . it was like fireworks. Fireworks are going off overhead, and Ethan tells Theresa to go on, whatever she has to say she can tell him. Unfortunately, they are interrupted by Charity's screaming.
Eve asks Ivy if she is prepared to accept the consequences of whatever it is she has to tell Sam? Ivy says she is prepared for everything, whatever happens, happens! Eve tells her that her marriage could be destroyed, but Ivy laughs and says that Eve doesn't care about her marriage! Eve says she is right, she is worried about her own marriage. Ivy assures Eve that she knows how to keep things discreet, she doesn't want to flaunt Sam, she just wants his love.
On the dance floor, Charity thinks her premonitions must have been wrong. Miguel excuses himself to get them some punch. A song Charity likes comes on, but she has nobody to dance with. She sees the Timmy doll and thinks she'll dance with him, so she asks Tabitha if she minds? Tabitha tries to object, but Charity grabs him anyways. As they dance, Timmy smiles, but Tabitha tries to warn Timmy about the fish guts! Miguel, Grace, and Sam watch Charity and comment how she's never looked happier. When Charity hits the X on the floor, Kay releases the fish guts, which rain down on Timmy and Charity. Charity screams as a steady stream of guts cover her and Timmy. Kay is loving it all, but Simone says this is the most hateful thing she has ever done! Eve and Grace try and clean off Charity, who is in a trance. Kay keeps Miguel from going to Charity by saying she needs time. Charity's pendant begins to glow, and a look of evil comes over Charity's face. She mumbles under breath that everybody on the boat is going to die!
Tabitha grabs Timmy and begins to clean him off, and Kay tells Simone that Charity is practically catatonic. Kay is convinced Charity will be locked up for good, and Miguel will be all hers. Eve and Grace wrap Charity up in a towel and take her out on deck. Jessica begins to cry because Charity's premonitions are coming true, and she fears something worse might happen. Miguel yells to Charity that she is still his queen as she is taken away. Kay tells Miguel that it will be okay, and she comforts him. Tabitha and Timmy spy on Charity as Grace and Eve continue to clean her up. The pendant continues to glow, and Tabitha tells Timmy that the pendant is working! Tabitha offers to stay with Charity so Grace and Eve can looks for some things to clean her up with. Once they are gone, Tabitha whispers to Charity that this is what being good gets her! She urges her to come to the dark side and give into the power of the pendant! Tabitha says she will leave her now with her pendant.
Charity rows to the docks, and runs into Gwen. Gwen asks Charity what she's doing here, but Charity ignores Gwen. Gwen gives up on trying to talk to Charity and grabs Charity's row boat to head to the prom boat. Gwen swears that Theresa better not be up to some type of treachery. Back on the boat, Theresa and Ethan resume their talk. Theresa finally tells Ethan that she loves him. Whitney can't believe Theresa did it, but Chad says you gotta love her.
Elsewhere, Julian finds Timmy alive and enjoying a Martimmy. Julian is drunk and high on Tabitha's herbs, so he decides to join Timmy for a MarTimmy! Julian tells him that these are really quiet good! Timmy takes off to find his witch, and Julian starts wandering around drunk as ever. He spots Eve and remembers the picture session, so he jumps Eve and starts kissing her! TC finds them together and warns Julian to get his hands off his wife! Timmy finds Tabitha, who isn't happy to learn that Julian learned he was a living doll and that he told Julian she was a witch. But, Tabitha says it won't matter after tonight!
Grace ends up going into a room, and when Ivy sees her, she locks her in! Grace yells for whoever is out there to open up, but Ivy ignores her and decides to find Sam. Ivy finds Sam and tells him that they need to talk about a secret they share which binds them together.
Back on shore, Charity hears Tabitha continuing to beckoning her to come to the dark side. Charity lifts her hands and an evil voice comes out of her mouth yelling "Destroy them all!" Suddenly, lighting shoots out of Charity's hands and towards the boat!
