At the Bennett's, Hecuba and Kay talk through the mirror in Kay's bedroom. Hecuba thanks Kay for getting her the things she needed, because now she can destroy Charity Standish! In her cave, Hecuba throws Charity's fingernails and hair into a caldron, which bubbles and smokes. Downstairs at the Bennett's, Grace, Sam, TC, and Eve are getting ready for the New Year, and they notice the sky is dark. TC says it must be a freak storm, so they all go inside. Suddenly, a raven lands on the kitchen windowsill and stares at Charity! Charity becomes freaked out by this. The bird eventually flies away, and Charity is overcome with the feeling that they are all in terrible danger, and that tonight will be the worst New Years Eve they've ever seen. Tabitha and Timmy show up, and begin to spy on the Bennetts in order to find out what Hecuba has in store for them all. Inside, both Charity and Grace fear that something terrible is about to happen. Suddenly, Jessica finds something frightening on the internet. She says she was trying to look up everyone's horoscope for the new year, but instead found this! She shows them a web page which indicates that the battle between good and evil will take place in 2001 in a place called Harmony! Tabitha tells Timmy that Jessica is right, the battle is coming and they are standing at ground zero! In Hecuba's cave, Hecuba spies on the Bennetts and says that Jessica is so right about the coming battle. Back at the Bennetts, a raven flies right for Tabitha and Timmy. When they duck, the raven breaks through the Bennett's living room window! Hecuba then sends an entire flock of ravens to the Bennetts! The ravens surround the Bennett house, and Reese, who has come for the party, barely makes it inside. Reese tells Sam that thousands of birds have surrounded his house! As the Bennetts quake with fear, Hecuba says that the entire Bennett clan is doomed! The birds land on the power pole outside, and their weight causes it to tip over! TC yells that the pole is going to break, and they all run away from the window. The power pole comes crashing through the window and sends sparks everywhere! Suddenly, the birds fly into the house and attack everyone! The birds eventually leave the house, but continue to flock outside. Charity looks a mirror and sees a huge raven, which morphs into Hecuba. Hecuba tells Charity that this is just the beginning of the battle, and in the end she will destroy her! Charity lets out a blood curdling scream.
Timmy and Tabitha run home when the birds attack, and Timmy fears for his sweet Charity. Timmy also tells Tabitha that was the most awesome display of evil he's ever seen! Tabitha says that is just the tip of the iceberg!
At the hospital, Pilar lectures Theresa about how important it is to keep Ethan's secret. Theresa admits that she scanned the papers onto her computer, but she doubts anyone will open it up and see the files. Pilar is furious with Theresa. Theresa says she can delete the files, so Pilar tells her to do it. Theresa says she will, the minute she returns to the mansion she will delete them. However, Theresa says the secret is safe till then because the laptop is in Mrs. Crane's bedroom. Pilar asks her how she could do such a thing? THeresa says she was angry when she did it, she thought Ethan had betrayed her. Theresa promises that she will destroy the file as soon as possible.
In Sheridan's room, Ethan thanks Luis once again for giving him and Theresa his blessing. Luis asks Ethan what will happen once he and Theresa do marry? What will happen when Theresa moves into the mansion? Ethan says nothing will happen to Theresa, and his family will respect and accept her. Luis doubts that, and Sheridan agrees. Sheridan tells Ethan that Julian and Alistair will do anything to prevent them from marrying. Ethan says he doesn't care, he won't let anyone stop him from marrying Theresa. Sheridan tells Luis that Ethan isn't the only one who needs to worry, they should worry as well because her family won't be happy that they are together either. Luis knows they will do something diabolical, which upsets Ethan. Ethan refuses to believe that his family does evil things. Sheridan eventually tells them to stop arguing, especially on New Years Eve. Sheridan says she just wants to enjoy the life she has been given back. Later, Sheridan learns she is being released, and that she can spend New Years at the cottage with Luis.
Back outside, Ethan approaches Theresa and tells her that there is a party at the mansion and they are to attend it. Theresa says she doesn't have anything to wear, but Ethan tells her not to worry. Ethan says that because she is going to be a Crane soon, there are certain perks that come with the name. A woman shows up with a dress bag, and hands it to Ethan. He thanks the woman, and he opens it. Inside are several gowns, and he tells Theresa to choose one. He then tells Pilar to choose one as well, because she is invited as a guest as well. Pilar tries to decline, but Ethan won't take no for an answer.
At the Crane Mansion, Rebecca calls Gwen's cell phone and asks her to keep Ivy busy because she's almost found the proof she needs. Rebecca continues to look through Theresa's laptop, thinking it is Ivy's, and sees a ton of files on Ethan. She wonders if this computer is the encyclopedia of Ethan? Downstairs, Ivy becomes suspicious and asks Gwen if that was her mother on the phone? Ivy wants to know what is going on, where is Rebecca, is she up to something? Gwen says of course not, and she just wanted to talk to her. Ivy tells Gwen that even though things didn't work out between her and Ethan, she is still very important to her. Ivy realizes it is getting late, so she says she must go get ready. Gwen asks her what she needs to get ready for? Ivy says that Ethan is bringing Theresa here tonight for a small party. Gwen does her best to try and keep Ivy from going upstairs, but Ivy says they can talk tomorrow, right now she has to go get ready. Back up in Ivy's room, Rebecca finally finds the file "Ethan's Secrets." As she is about to open it up, she hears Ivy in the hall coming towards the room! Rebecca hides under Ivy's bed, and Ivy enters her room and begins getting dressed. When Ivy goes into her closet, Rebecca tries to escape with the laptop, but is caught by Ivy. Ivy asks her what she is doing in her bedroom? Rebecca claims she came to wish her a happy New Year and to bury the hatchet. Ivy sincerely doubts that is why Rebecca is here because she was furious when Ethan chose Theresa. Rebecca claims that she realizes she has to accept that Gwen has lost Ethan and move on. Ivy tells Rebecca fine, they will put this behind them, and she asks Rebecca to please excuse her because her guests are waiting. Ivy kicks Rebecca out, but Rebecca thinks it would be better if she exited the back stairs. Ivy says fine, but she gives Rebecca a little warning before she goes. She tells Rebecca that she can sleep with Julian all she wants, but she will never give up the title of Mrs. Crane, and this is still her house! Ivy leaves, and Rebecca vows to find the information she needs to become the next Mrs. Crane and destroy Ivy.
In the study, Alistair tells Julian, via the phone, that they should kill Luis just like they removed his father from the picture. Alistair tells Julian to make sure Luis is out of the picture, permanently! Julian is shocked, and says a cops death would bring media attention to their front door. Alistair realizes that Julian may be right, because Chief Bennett would suspect them first. Alistair says their first priority should be Luis, but they also have to stop Ethan from marrying Theresa. Alistair damns the Lopez-Fitzgeralds and says they needs to be crushed!
Ethan arrives at the mansion with Pilar and Theresa. Theresa is wearing a red dress, and Pilar is wearing a lavender one. Gwen, who is still waiting for her mother, hides behind the Christmas tree. She says she can't let Ethan and the others see her, so she must get out of her. Meanwhile, Pilar encourages Theresa to go upstairs and erase the file. However, when Theresa tries to sneak away, Ethan refuses to let her do any work tonight. Julian shows up and can't believe that Pilar and Theresa are here and playing dress-up. Julian tells them that he was going to have the Burger Barn cater the party, but it was booked up so they will have to make do with caviar and pate. Ethan takes his father aside and tells him that he will not stand for his disrespecting his future wife and mother-in-law! Ivy comes downstairs and welcomes Theresa and Pilar. Ivy tells Pilar that she looks stunning. Pilar thanks her, but says she doesn't feel comfortable at all. Ivy tells her she should feel fine, and asks her to call her Ivy from now on because they are going to be family. Pilar refuses because she doubts Alistair will ever allow this marriage to happen. Suddenly, Alistair calls and demands to be put on speakerphone. Alistair says he wants to speak with Theresa. Theresa says that she is here, which pleases Alistair. Alistair says he has only one question for her, does she think that just because she is wearing Ethan's engagement ring she is entitled to all the privileges that come along with the Crane name? Ethan is furious and tells his grandfather to wait a minute, but Alistair tells Ethan to wait himself because he wants to tell his fianc�e one thing . . . . welcome to the family! Alistair tells Theresa that he wants her to feel at home at the mansion and at the new estate that he will build for them after the wedding. Theresa is thrilled because she thinks she has been accepted, and she hugs Ethan. Ethan realizes that it is almost the new year, so he counts down. Ethan and Theresa share a new years kiss, and Ivy tells Julian that she is glad that he and Alistair are not going to break up Ethan and Theresa. Ethan then says he has something to show everyone, and asks them to follow him. As they follow Ethan, Gwen sneaks out of the mansion. Ethan leads everyone outside to watch a magnificent fireworks display. Ethan tells Ethan that they are beautiful, and that she loves him and no one will ever come between them. Later, Julian calls his father and asks what that was all about earlier? Alistair reminds Julian of the old saying keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. Alistair says he will find a way to destroy Theresa and Luis and keep them away from the Cranes forever.
Back upstairs, Rebecca sneaks back into Ivy's room and opens the secret file on Ethan! Rebecca finds Ivy's letter to Sam, which proves that Ethan is his son. Elsewhere, Gwen watches the fireworks alone and cries. She hopes her mother can find the info she needs to get Ethan back.
At the cottage, Luis and Sheridan ring in the new year with a kiss. They snuggle together on the couch and watch the fireworks.
At the Hotckiss house, Rebecca looks in on Gwen and tells her to sleep, because soon all their dreams will come true. Rebecca eventually tells Gwen to wake up because they have a lot to do. Rebecca recalls how she had to climb out of Ivy's window to escape the mansion last night, and how she ended up falling from the second story and ontop of Gwen. Gwen finally wakes up, and Rebecca tells her what she found last night. Gwen says she really doesn't care because she's tired of fighting the inevitable, Ethan loves Theresa more than he loves her, it doesn't matter what his last name is. Gwen says she's never going to get Ethan back, so she's not going to help her. Rebecca tells Gwen that their dreams can come true if she is able to marry Julian. Rebecca plans on going back to the mansion and making a copy of that file on Ivy's laptop, and then she'll have everything she needs to blow Ivy Crane out of that mansion!
At the mansion, Ivy reads about the bird attack and says that it sounds something out of Hitcock movie. When she reads that it took place at the Bennett's, she thinks of Sam and becomes upset.
At Tabitha's, Timmy makes a scarecrow in case the birds decide to come back. Tabitha tells Timmy that if she knows Hecuba, those birds were nothing compared to what is to come. Tabitha says that if Hecuba isn't stopped, she could wipe the entire town of Harmony right off the map! Timmy tells Tabitha to stop because he doesn't want to hear anymore. Tabitha says fine, she was just trying to warn him of the terrible things to come. Timmy thinks they should cash in their check from Harper Collins and get on the next plane to Tahiti. Tabitha says they can't leave now because Hecuba or their friends in the basement will hunt them down. Tabitha says they need to go over to the Bennett's and see what they are up against.
At the Bennett's, a TC reporter interviews Sam and his family about the blackbird attack. Sam has no idea why his house was singled out. The reporter wraps up his broadcast, with one final note, the type of raven that attacked the Bennett house has never been seen in the northeast. The reporter leaves, and Sam and TC begin sealing up the windows. Grace feels that her family has been singled out, but Eve tells her that can't be. Tabitha shows up and gets the scoop on what happened last night. Jessica tells Tabitha all about the website, the blackbirds, and her mom's feelings of doom. Meanwhile, Sam and TC talk about the incident in the kitchen. Sam fears that Grace is going to think this is a sign that a plague is coming down upon there house. As Sam says he's sick of his wife being hurt, Ivy shows up at his door! Ivy tells Sam that she was so afraid for him, and she doesn't know what she'd do if anything happened to him. Sam tells Ivy that she is making him angry. Ivy says she knows he loves his wife and children, but she's positive that there a part of him that still loves her. Sam tells her to get out! Ivy says fine, but nothing will change this! Ivy then grabs Sam and kisses him! Suddenly, Grace walks into the kitchen! Grace asks what they are doing? Ivy claims she just tripped on something and Sam caught her. Grace says she is sorry, it is still such a mess in here. Sam tries to get rid of Ivy, but Grace wants her to stay so they can talk. Grace tells Ivy about the fears she has that something horrible is going to happen to their family. Ivy remembers the prediction of the angel, that something was going to happen to Sam's son. Grace fears that the angel's predications were right, she fears her family is under a dark cloud. Sam says that nothing is going to happen to their family. Grace thanks Sam and goes back into the living room. Sam tells Ivy goodbye, but Ivy refuses to leave. Sam tells Ivy that he saw the look in her eyes when she said "Sam's son," and she's not going to fall for her Ethan trick again. Sam throws Ivy out and slams the door. Ivy wonders if Grace's angel's prediction is true, and if Ethan could be in danger. Later, Sam talks with TC and Eve about Ivy. Sam asks Eve if Ivy has ever said anything to Eve as to why she won't let go of him? Eve lies and says no.
Upstairs, Hecuba appears in Kay's room. Kay is trying to convince herself that what happened wasn't her fault, but Hecuba tells Kay that what happened last night was her fault, because she made it possible by providing her with Charity's hair and nail clippings. Kay tells Hecuba that she is sick, she never would have helped her if she knew she was going to put her family in danger! Hecuba tells her to stop whining, last night was just a trial run, and the only one who will be hurt is her cousin Charity. Hecuba asks Kay to keep an eye on Charity and tell her how she reacts to this. Kay accuses Hecuba of being afraid of Charity, which angers her. Hecuba tells Kay to do as she says or bid so long to her soul! Hecuba then vanishes. In Charity's room, Charity dreams about the bird attack, and the vision of Hecuba. Charity says, in her sleep, that evil is here. Miguel is sitting by her bed and tries to figure out what Charity is saying. Miguel tells Charity to wake up, and when she does, she shouts out Hecuba's name! Charity remembers the vision she had last night and knows it was real. Miguel asks her who Hecuba is? Before Charity can answer, Kay shows up to check on Charity. Charity stares at Kay, who asks her why she is staring at her? Charity asks Kay to tell them about Hecuba! Kay says she has no idea what she's talking about. Miguel tells Kay that Charity screamed that name when she woke up, and she has a feeling that she is behind the bird attack. Charity asks Kay what she and Hecuba are doing together? Kay says she has no idea what she is talking about, and then she leaves. Miguel tells Charity to let it go. Charity says maybe it was a dream. Miguel assures Charity that nothing like that will ever happen again. Meanwhile, Hecuba appears to Kay and congratulates her on handling that close call like a pro. Kay asks Hecuba how Charity knew her name? Hecuba says that Charity's powers are growing. Kay thinks this sounds like an episode of Buffy, which Hecuba says if a very good show. Kay wants her soul back, and Hecuba says she will get it after they have some evil fun together.
Charity and Miguel go downstairs, and Grace hugs her niece. Grace thinks that Charity and Miguel remind her of her and Sam, nothing will ever split them up. Tabitha tells Timmy that they'll just see about that when Grace learns the truth about Sam and Ivy. A spying Hecuba says that love is never a match for pure evil, and she casts another spell. Suddenly, the walls at the Bennett house begin to bleed! Tabitha tells Timmy that this means everyone who lives in this house will die!
Back at the mansion, Ethan thanks his mother for all her support. Ivy tells Ethan that she just wants her to be happy. Ethan sees Theresa's computer and realizes that if his mother hadn't hired Theresa, he never would have met her. Ethan tells his mom that he needs to see his birth records so he and Theresa can get a marriage license. Ethan tells his mother that he and Theresa want to be married as soon as possible. Ivy is startled by the request, but shows it to Ethan. Ethan is shocked and asks his mother why she lied to him about his birth?
At the cottage, Luis brings Sheridan breakfast in bed, again. Luis says he kept it simple this time so she doesn't have to pretend to eat it. Sheridan wonders why Luis doesn't have to go to work? Luis tells her that he's taken some time off to spend with her. Luis decides to take a shower, but accidentally leaves his clothes in the living room. Sheridan gets hot and bothered when she sees him in only a towel, and thinks about the night they almost made love. Later, Sheridan decides to take a shower as well. Luis doesn't think she's strong enough, but she says she'll be fine. When Sheridan drops a vial of body oil, Luis panics and rushes in, getting a glimpse of a naked Sheridan. Sheridan puts on a robe, and Luis carries her to bed, positive that she is doing too much. Luis wants to call a doctor, but Sheridan refuses to allow him to do that. Sheridan says she is fine, she is just a little tired.
At the Bennett's, the walls begin to bleed. Nobody can figure out what it is until Charity touches and screams that it is blood. Everyone panics, and TC and Sam try to come up with a rational explanation. Sam and TC theorize that it is the old paint that is just seeping through, because the room used to be red. However, TC doesn't think it is the old paint, but Sam says he has to believe it is because he doesn't want to think what it means if it is blood. Jessica thinks it really is blood, and Grace thinks it might be as well. Grace fears that evil is coming to Harmony, and to her house. Eve takes a sample of the blood in order to test it in the lab. Kay goes upstairs to confront Hecuba. Kay tells Hecuba to stop doing this to her family, but Hecuba says that she, no they, have only just begun. Hecuba decides to tell Kay exactly what she has planned for her family. Back downstairs, Charity stays behind and looks at the walls, which suddenly spell out "You are all doomed!"
At the Hotchkiss mansion, Rebecca and Gwen continue to plot. When Gwen hears her mom talking about Ivy's laptop, Gwen says that Ivy doesn't have a laptop, but Theresa does. Gwen and Rebecca realize that Theresa has known the truth all along, and that she must have gotten the papers from Pilar. Rebecca thinks that Pilar probably gave Theresa the info, and that the two of them have been plotting to keep it a secret so that they could get the Crane money. Gwen even thinks that Theresa was going to use the info if Ethan hadn't chosen her. Rebecca refuses to loose the Crane fortune to Theresa, and Gwen is even more determined to get revenge on Theresa.
At the Crane mansion, Ethan looks at his birth certificate and is shocked. Ivy thinks Ethan has figured out his secret, but Ethan hasn't. Ethan is upset that he was such a big baby, and that he must have caused his mother great pain when he was born. Outside, Pilar and Theresa show up, and Pilar orders Theresa to erase the information off the computer today! Pilar and Theresa go inside, and Ivy welcomes Theresa. As they talk, Ivy warns Theresa that Rebecca and Gwen might not be so friendly the next time they see one another, but she doubts they will be coming here again. Suddenly, Rebecca and Gwen show up! Rebecca congratulates Theresa, and Gwen gives her the Crane family jewels. Ethan thanks them both for taking this so well. Rebecca says she needs to freshen up, and sneaks up to Ivy's room with a disk. Meanwhile, Pilar tells Theresa to get upstairs and erase those files.
At the mansion, Theresa and Ethan hug because they think everyone has accepted their marriage. However, Pilar tells Ivy that Rebecca has accepted defeat much to easily, she is up to something! Ivy tells Pilar that she is manufacturing problems, there isn't a damn thing that Rebecca can do aside from throw some tantrums and sleep with Julian. Still, Pilar fears that Rebecca could find out the truth about Ethan. Ivy doubts that is possible because she destroyed all the evidence! Pilar excuses herself, and goes to talk to Theresa in private. Pilar tells Theresa that it is time to go get the computer. Theresa says she will do it, but not right now because she doesn't want to leave Ethan's side. A fed up Pilar heads upstairs to get the computer herself. Julian arrives, and Ethan asks him to be the best man at his wedding. Julian thinks there is time to work out the details, but Ethan says they want to get married right away. Gwen yells that they can't do that! Ethan apologizes for talking about this in front of her, but she says she is the one who should apologize. Ivy pushes Julian into agreeing to stand up for Ethan at the wedding, though he secretly says this wedding will take place over his dead body! Ethan and Theresa then excuse themselves to go tell Sheridan the good news.
Upstairs, Rebecca pulls out a disk and begins to copy the love letter Ivy wrote to Sam to the disk. Suddenly, Pilar walks into the room! Rebecca covers up the computer with a newspaper, and Pilar asks her what she is doing here? Rebecca tells Pilar that she prefers the powder rooms up here to the one in the library, but Pilar says that doesn't explain why she is in here? Rebecca claims she just wanted some privacy, so Pilar recommends she uses the east wing. Rebecca says she is fine just where she is! Pilar asks why, what does she want in Mrs. Crane's bedroom? Rebecca says that she came up here for some perfume because she forgot to put any on this morning, but she wouldn't know anything about perfume because she gets her scents from a roll-on. Pilar tells Rebecca that she was about to thank her for being so kind to Theresa, but she knows she isn't wrong about her. Rebecca claims the only thing she can do is accept the fact that Ethan has chosen Theresa and moved on. Pilar decides to leave, but not before she snatches Theresa's computer! Rebecca is furious and runs after Pilar to get the disk.
When Pilar returns with the computer, Gwen freaks out and drops her glass. Ivy asks her if she all right? Gwen says she is just tired. Rebecca shows up, and Julian scolds her for giving Ethan and Theresa her best wishes! Rebecca assures Julian that she knows exactly what she is doing, Ethan and Theresa aren't married yet! Rebecca assures Julian that as soon as she has what she is after, he will be the first to know. Later, Gwen asks her mother if she got a copy of the disk? Rebecca says she did, but Pilar took it before she could get the disk out! Meanwhile, Ivy asks Pilar if she could bring them a tray of tea? Pilar says of course, and goes to leave with the computer. Ivy tells Pilar that she'll never carry the tea with that computer in her hand, so she should leave it here. Pilar tells Ivy that it has very confidential things on it, so Ivy says she won't take her eyes off of it. Pilar leaves the computer with Ivy, and Rebecca tells Gwen to go keep Ivy busy! Gwen asks Ivy about a decorator she used in this room, and as they look at a magazine, Rebecca tries to get the disk from the computer.
At Sheridan's cottage, Luis and Sheridan kiss and come close to making love as they lay on Sheridan's bed. Luis is afraid to take his eyes off her for one minute because she might disappear. Sheridan tells him not to be afraid of loving her, because it is what brought her back from the dead. The close come off, and the candles go on, and the two begin to make love. However, Ethan and Theresa show up, and interrupt. Luis and Sheridan get dressed, and invite Ethan and Theresa in. Ethan has some champagne and proposes a New Year's toast to the four of them being as happy as they are in this moment, forever. Sheridan adds, "May all our dreams come true!" When Theresa says hers already have, Luis becomes a little upset. Ethan tells Luis that he knows they haven't seen eye to eye, but he's willing to start over for Theresa and Sheridan. Luis agrees, and the two shake. Sheridan notices the pearls around Theresa's neck, and she's very shocked to here how nice Rebecca is acting towards Theresa. Luis takes Theresa aside and asks Theresa if she is marrying Ethan for his money? Theresa says of course not, she's marrying him because she loves him. Luis is glad to hear that, and the two hug. Theresa and Sheridan share a little bit of girl talk about the men in their lives. Sheridan tells Theresa that she is going to spend the rest of her life letting Luis know how much he means to her. Meanwhile, Luis tells Ethan that the reason he is overprotective of Theresa is because she hasn't had a father, and because she is such a dreamer. Ethan says that is what he loves the most about her. Luis says that Theresa hasn't been around as much as they have, she doesn't know what people are capable of. Ethan assures Luis that he loves Theresa and won't let anything happen to her. When the happy couples get together, they compare stories about how they all met. Ethan and Theresa finally leave, and Luis tells his "brother-in-law" so long, and "I love you," to Theresa. After they leave, Sheridan says she was sure Rebecca would put up more of a fight. Luis says he's not worried about the Hotckisses, he's worried about the Cranes! Meanwhile, Ethan and Theresa return to the main house, and are just about to walk in on Rebecca fumbling with Theresa's laptop!
