January 2000 Week 3

Monday

January 17
At the Russells house, Eve overhears Simone and Whitney talking about Chad, and she hears Simone say she'll have to be extra-careful about seeing Chad from now on. Eve tells Simone that she better stay far away from Chad! Simone asks her mom why even hearing Chad's name makes her upset? Eve says that she is just trying to protect her from harm. TC shows up, and Simone tries to ask her dad to talk some sense into her mom, but he sticks by Eve's side. TC tells the girls to go get ready for the funeral. Suddenly, Luis shows up to see Eve about running some DNA tests on his father's body for his mom. Eve tells him that she'll see what she can do.

At the mansion, Ethan leaves to get Sheridan to go Martin's funeral. After Ethan leaves, Julian says he thinks he'll go to the funeral too. Ivy laughs and says she doubts they'd welcome him after what he did. She then asks him why he was in such a hurry to get rid of the body? She says that it isn't the real Martin is it? Julian says of course it is, Pilar found the scar on his body. As they talk, Gwen shows up to meet Ethan to go to the funeral with him. Julian wonders why she is going because she didn't know the family. Gwen says that her entire future depends on what happens today. Ivy asks her what she means? Gwen tells them that if things work out her way, she and Ethan will be announcing their engagement today!

Sheridan has a dream about making love to Luis. In her dream they are in bed together, and Luis is telling her how much he loves her and can no longer fight his feelings for her. Ethan ends up waking Sheridan up and tells her that she lied to him, she has fallen for Luis! Sheridan asks him what he's talking about? Ethan tells her that she was saying his name over and over again in her sleep, and it sounded like it was a sex dream. Sheridan can't remember her dream, but says if she was having one it is probably because they have been spending a lot of time together lately, and subconsciously became the man she has always dreamed of finding.

Ethan meets Gwen back in the mansion and asks her not to pick a fight with Theresa today. Meanwhile, Julian drinks to new beginnings, and Sheridan and Ivy scold him for drinking before going to a funeral!

At the Bennetts, Grace and Sam talk about Pilar's belief that the dead man wasn't her husband, and how Luis is having a DNA test done on the body. Grace doesn't blame Pilar for not wanting to believe that man was her husband because she doesn't know what she'd do if she lost him. Sam tells her that she'll never lose him. Charity comes downstairs and asks to use the ironing board. Grace tells her that she never has to ask, and tells her it is in the closet. Charity has to iron her dress she is wearing to the funeral. Later, Charity tells her aunt that she and Miguel kissed the other day because she doesn't want her to think they are sneaking around. Grace tells Charity that she knows she's a good girl, and that a first kiss is very special. She tells her to just go slow and wait for marriage. Charity says she can't imagine marrying anyone so soon, which pleases Grace. Grace says that she's seen so many girls who think that having sex would win them a boy, but it only won them a baby.

At Tabitha's place, Tabitha tells Timmy that she's been up all night trying to find a way to keep Miguel and Charity apart, and bring Charity over to the dark side. Suddenly, Kay shows up at Tabitha's door. Tabitha, hoping she has good news, lets her in. Kay is in tears and tells Tabitha that she's lost the boy she loves forever. Kay tells her that this girl is using Miguel's father's death to sink her claws into him. Tabitha tells Kay a story about the drastic measures she took to try and win the boy she loved back. Tabitha shows Kay some herbs, itching powder, which caused the girl to break out in a terrible rash and forced her to stay in her room for a week, which gave her the time she needed to win back her boyfriend. Tabitha turns her bay on Kay, and Kay swipes the herbs! Kay leaves with the herbs, and Timmy tells Tabitha that Kay stole the herbs and she has to stop her! Tabitha says she wants Kay to sprinkle those herbs in Charity's dress because it will buy her the time she needs to think of a way to bring Charity to the dark side. Tabitha hopes that Kay can find a way to put a wedge between Miguel and Charity, because then she won't have his love to keep him good and pure. Timmy, to himself, says "poor Charity." Later, Tabitha sees Miguel come over and "rescue" Charity. She is furious and decides to check her book to see what else can be done to bring Charity over to the dark side. Suddenly, Timmy grabs the book, says he won't let Tabitha hurt Charity, and runs for it!

Kay returns home and sprinkles the herbs in Charity's dress. Charity shows up and puts on her dress, and she asks Kay to zip her up. Suddenly, Charity begins to itch all over.

At the Lopez-Fitzgerald house, Miguel and Theresa ask their mother if the dead man is their father or not. Pilar says she won't know until she speaks to their brother, who she hasn't seen all night. Miguel tells Theresa that Luis is having DNA tests run on their father, but they don't know when the results will be in because sometimes they take weeks. Later, Miguel advises his sister to tell Ethan the truth at the funeral today, but Theresa refuses because the man who died might not be papa. Miguel says "So it's okay for a total stranger to die for your love?" He tells Theresa that she better give it up and just confess. Luis shows up and tells his family that Dr. Russell is trying to rush the results, but she doesn't know if they will be ready for the funeral. Luis tells his mother that she has to accept that the man they are burying is her husband, but Pilar refuses to believe that her husband is dead.

In her office, Eve calls the lab and asks them to rush the DNA test results. Chad goes to see Orville at the hospital, but Orville is fast asleep. Orville eventually wakes up, and Chad learns where Orville has hidden his spare key. Eve shows up and Chad splits. Eve asks Orville where he hid the red envelope? Orville starts singing about the envelope and says it is dangerous, and if anyone finds it, Eve is in a lot of trouble! Suddenly, Eve is pages with the results of the DNA tests. Later, after Eve leaves, Orville remembers that he hid the envelope in the bird statue. He tells himself that he has to tell Eve, but he ends up falling asleep.

Chad heads over to Orville's place and finds the spare key. He lets himself in and begins searching the place. He comes across a bird statue, and wonders if anything could be hidden inside of it.

The citizens of Harmony gather at the church for Martin's funeral, but Pilar still refuses to believe it is his father. Miguel learns that CHarity is home sick with a rash, so he decides to leave the funeral and see her, claiming he'll be back in time. Sheridan, Ethan, and Gwen show up and give Pilar their condolences. Ivy and Julian also tell Pilar how sorry they are. Sheridan hugs Luis and asks him how he's holding up? Luis says he's okay, and tells her about the DNA tests he's ordered. Suddenly, Gwen is struck with her terrible nightmare flashbacks again. Ethan and Gwen give their condolences to Theresa, and Gwen asks her about her boyfriend. She asks if he is here, or if he is coming later. Theresa says she doesn't know, and Ethan tells Gwen to back off because she's obviously distraught. Ethan hugs Theresa, and Gwen insists they take their seat.

Miguel heads over to see Charity, who tells him that she has a terrible rash and doesn't want him to catch it. Miguel says that he thinks he knows what is wrong with her.

The funeral starts, and Luis stands up to say a few words about his father. Luis thanks them all for coming, and as he speaks about Martin, the members of Harmony talk to themselves. Theresa realizes fate hasn't saved her, and she'll have to stop loving Ethan. Julian wants Luis to make this short, and Ivy knows Julian can't wait for this to be over. Suddenly, Eve shows up and gives Luis the test results. Miguel and Charity arrive, and Grace asks what she is doing here? Charity says that Miguel thought the chemicals from the dry cleaning must have caused the rash, and she put baking soda on it to clear it up. Luis goes to the head of the church and announces to everyone that the dead man is not his father! Pilar and her family rejoice, but Julian is furious. Sheridan realizes that if this isn't Martin, she may have killed the real one! Theresa thinks she's once again been saved by fate, but Whitney tells her that Gwen won't give up and she'll still need to come up with a boyfriend. Luis asks Sam who this man could be, and Sam looks at Julian and says he knows someone who might know.

This summary was typed after I watched the show, I was feeling under the weather today, so it is shorter than normal

At Tabitha's house, Timmy steals a page from the ancient tome, and Tabitha chases him around the place trying to get it back. Timmy ends up climbing up the fireplace to avoid her, so she decides to light a fire. Timmy tells her that he's not stupid, if she lights the fire, she'll burn both Timmy and the page to a crisp! Tabitha then threatens to drop fluffy down the chimney, so Timmy caves in and gives her the page. Tabitha reads the page and learns that the best way to bring Charity over to the dark side is to have her kill Miguel. Tabitha thinks she has the perfect way to get Charity to kill Miguel today!

At the funeral, Luis announces to everyone that the man they are about to bury is not his father. Everyone tells Pilar and the family how happy they are for them. Theresa thinks that fate has saved her once again and that she does not have to stop loving Ethan. Whitney tells her that she better be ready to face Gwen, because she is not going to give up on proving she has no boyfriend.

Luis and Sam confront Julian and ask him who the dead man is. Julian claims he doesn't know and that like them, he thought the man was Martin. Sam tells Julian that he is free to go, which angers Luis. Sam tells Luis that they have no concrete proof that Julian is involved, but he promises Luis that they will get the proof and bring him down.

Sheridan begins to worry about her nightmares once again and tells Ethan that if the man in the coffin isn't Martin, then she might have killed the real Martin. Ethan tells her that there is no proof that she killed anyone, but Sheridan says the memories are so real. Later, Sheridan approaches Luis and asks to talk with him.

Kay is furious as she watches and Miguel and Charity with one another, but she feels confident that Miguel will be hers because she was in his arms at midnight. An angry Simone says that article is not right. Ivy overhears them and asks them about the article, so Kay tells her about it. Ivy remembers being in Sam's arms, and she tells Kay that she believes in the article. Sam catches Ivy with his family and warns her that he won't let her hurt his family! Ivy tells herself that she doesn't want to hurt anyone, she just wants what is hers

Gwen finally confronts Theresa and tells her to give it up and admit Ethan is her fictional boyfriend. She tells Theresa that this is the big leagues, and she's still playing in the minors. Ethan shows up and asks what is going on?

Grace talks with Eve about scheduling an appointment to come talk to her. Eve asks if everything is okay? Grace says physically she is fine, but she can't stop thinking about Sam being in Ivy's arms at midnight, and the girl's magazine article. TC shows up and tells Grace that she has nothing to worry about, because if that article is right, it would mean that Eve would be spending the year with Julian Crane! Suddenly, Eve is paged by the hospital, so she calls back and speaks to Orville. Orville tells her that he remembers hiding the information on her in a a bird statues. Eve decides to head over to Orville's place to find it, and tells TC that she has to go to the hospital.

At Orville's place, Chad searches for information on him and is about to break open a trunk with the bird statues when he hears noises, so he runs escapes through a window. Orville's nosy next door neighbor called the police when she heard something going on in Orville's place. She says that Orville owes her money, and she doesn't want anyone stealing anything valuable from him. Eve shows up claiming to be retrieving something for Orville, so the woman and the cop leave. Eve looks for the bird, but can't seem to find it anywhere. Outside, Orville's neighbor has stolen the statue and plans to pawn it to reclaim some of the money Orville owes her.

Wednesday

January 19
Eve, who is still at Orville's place, calls Orville and tells him that the bird statue is not in his apartment! Orville says it has to be there, but Eve says its not. Outside, Orville's neighbor has stolen the statue to pawn it to get back some of the money Orville owes her. Back inside, Eve continues to look for the statue and talks to Orville on the phone. Orville sees Chad outside his room, so he hangs up on Eve. Eve fears what could happen if someone found the information Orville has on her.

Simone meets up with Chad at the hospital. Simone is looking for her mom, but Chad hasn't seen her. Chad tells her that he was at Orville's apartment and was about to bust open a trunk, but the cops showed up so he had to split. Chad goes in to see Orville and wonders who he was talking to on the phone. Orville says he was just trying to get some business done. Chad decides to ask Orville for some answers, but Orville asks him to come back after he takes his nap. CHad refuses and tells Orville to tell him what he knows! Chad tells Orville that he found his locked trunk, and he wants to know whats inside it. Orville dodges the question, which angers Chad. Chad begs Orville to tell him who he is. Orville says it's bound to come out sooner or later, so he should know the truth. Unfortunately, Orville zones out, and a nurse kicks Chad out of the room.

Simone calls her mom, who is still at Orville's place. Simone says she came to see her, but she's not here. Eve says she had to run out and asks what is up. Simone tells her that she accidentally ran into Chad at the hospital, and she wanted to tell her before she heard it from someone else. Eve says she's not mad, but she doesn't want to hang out with him. Simone is glad she ran into Chad because he just searched Orville's place and he's pretty sure he knows where the information on his past is hidden. Simone says Chad hasn't found anything yet, but he thinks he knows where to find it if he could get back inside. Eve once again warns Simone to stay away from Chad, and hangs up.

Back at Orville's, Eve realizes that Chad will be back, and he could find the information on her past while looking for the information on his own. Eve realizes there is only one thing she can do when she sees a box of matches and some lighter fluid. She begins to douse the papers on the table with the lighter fluid, and then she sets it on fire!

At the funeral, Ethan scolds Gwen for confronting Theresa without him. Gwen says she was sick of waiting, and she demands Theresa either produce her boyfriend or admit it was a huge lie to cover up the truth that she is in love with Ethan. Whitney and Pilar are watching from the background, and Whitney wishes she could help. Ethan tells Gwen that she is doing this wrong and is attacking Theresa, but Gwen says that she just wants to clear the air once and for all because she's sick of these games. Ethan defends Theresa and says Theresa couldn't have arranged for all those accidents to happen, but Gwen says her boyfriend isn't even here for the funeral for the man who was supposed to be her father. Gwen tells Ethan to look at the evidence, it is obvious she is lying. Gwen demands Theresa prove she has a boyfriend right now, or confess that he never existed. Suddenly, Father Lonagin shows up and tells Theresa that her boyfriend called and said he was sorry he missed the funeral, but he had car trouble. Ethan tells Gwen that they obviously know why Theresa's boyfriend didn't make it, and she owes her an apology. Ethan apologizes, but Gwen doesn't. Ethan and Gwen leave, and Whitney tells Theresa that she was the one who saved her butt, not fate. Theresa thanks Whitney and tells her that she is the best friend she could have. Suddenly, Theresa and Whitney realize they are being spied upon by Father Lonagin! Father Lonagin warns them to be careful because lies hurt those who tell them, and he expects both of them at confession tomorrow. Theresa apologizes to Whitney for getting her in trouble.

Later, Gwen tells Ethan that she still refuses to believe Theresa has a boyfriend, Theresa obviously pulled a fast one on them. Ethan tells Gwen that he believes Theresa has a boyfriend. Gwen says that she has convinced herself that all their problems are Theresa's doings, and she's beginning to wonder if he wants to be with Theresa as much as she wants to be with him. Gwen thinks perhaps Ethan has fallen in love with Theresa. Gwen says she is leaving, and until he realizes that Theresa has been lying this entire time, they have nothing more to say.

Julian calls his father, who is angry with him for failing. Julian says it was his idea for copying Martin's scar onto the imposter, and he thought that would have been proof enough for anyone. Alastair tells Julian that he underestimated Pilar, and perhaps he's met his match. Alastair then tells Julian to make sure Luis comes no where near their family, especially Sheridan because she is their family's weak link. Julian thinks it will be a piece of cake to keep Luis at bay, but Alastair doubts that. Julian assures his father that if Luis insists on investigating Martin, he will destroy him.

Sheridan talks with Luis and comes close to telling him that she thinks she killed his father. However, she chickens out and just tells him that she's glad the way things turned out for him. Sheridan thanks him once again for saving her, and vows to repay him if there is anything she can ever do for him. Luis thinks there is, and he asks if her brother or father ever said anything about his father, or if anything strange happened around the time his father disappeared? Sheridan remembers her nightmares, and Luis realizes that she does remember something. Sheridan says she doesn't remember anything other than her nightmares, and wishes him luck with his search. Luis thanks her, and then he leaves.

Luis goes to be with his mother, who thanks him for having the DNA tests done. Luis says he should have had more faith. He also promises his mother that he's going to find out what really happened to Papa, and he knows the Cranes know the truth. Luis knows that Julian Crane knows more than he's letting on, but Pilar says he doesn't know that for sure, and they have no proof. Luis asks his mother why she is defending the Cranes? Pilar asks Luis not to look into this any further because going up against Julian and Alastair could be dangerous. She says they are ruthless, but Luis says he's not scared of them. Pilar says he should be because if they have gone to such great lengths to cover up what happened to Martin, think of what they could do to him. She assures Luis that Alastair and Julian will stop at nothing to protect their secret, and she is possitive that the truth will eventually come out on its own.

Sheridan runs into Julian on her way out, but he stops her and says he hopes she's not back to her ridiculous belief that she killed Martin when she was a little girl. Sheridan asks if he could blame her for wondering once again? Julian tells her that she never killed anyone, she was just prone to nightmares. He also tells her that she's spending too much time with Luis, and he wants her to stay away from him. Sheridan is shocked by her brother's request and tells her that she can see whoever she wants to see! Julian tells her that she'd be making the biggest mistake of her life if she got involved with Luis. Sheridan tells Julian that Luis would never get involved with her because he hates her family, and she doesn't blame him because he (Julian) is a pompous ass! Sheridan then questions Julian about what he knows about the real MArtin Fitzgerald. Julian says he has already told her all he knows, and he has business to attend to. Julian warns her once again to stay away from Luis, and then he leaves. After Julian leaves, Luis shows up and invites Sheridan to have dinner with him. She says she'd like that, so she accepts.

This hasn't been proofed, so try to overlook the mistakes :)

At Orville's place, Eve sets fire to the newspapers. She tells herself that she'll have to call the fire department so that they can save the building, but not Orville's apartment. When Eve goes to leave, she finds that she's trapped inside! Eve looks around, and finally escapes through a window.

Chad heads over to Orville's place, and soon learns that Simone is following him. Chad warns Simone that her mom might catch her because he caught her mom snooping around Orville's place the other day. Simone thinks there must be a reason why she was there. Chad thinks she's trying to stop him from find out about his past, but Simone doesn't think her mom cares about his past. Suddenly, Chad smells smoke. Chad and Simone find Orville's apartment on fire. Chad tells Simone to go to the neighbors and call the fire department. Chad works on breaking the door down, but by time he gets inside, the entire place is engulfed in flames. The fire department shows up, and Chad isn't allowed inside until they check the place out. Chad thinks that he'll never get the answers he needs now.

Eve goes to the hospital and tells Orville what she did to his apartment. Orville is not pleased at all. Eve begins to cry and says she'll buy him all new things when he gets out of here. Orville says that what she did was for the best because now nobody will ever know the truth about her or Chad's past. Eve asks about Chad's past, but Orville won't tell her or anyone because it is a secret as big as hers. Simone and Chad show up at the hospital, and Chad goes in to see Orville to tell him about his apartment. Orville pretends like he hasn't heard about his apartment when Chad gives him the news about the fire. Chad tells Orville that everything is gone. Eve asks Chad how he knew about the fire? Chad says he was there, and it doesn't matter why he was there. Orville asks Chad how the fire started? Chad says the fire chief will be investigating the cause. Chad says that he can still see the flames, and he can even smell the smoke! He looks at Eve, who is looking very nervous. Eve tells Chad that the smoke he is smelling must be on him, and he says he guesses. Orville then starts singing goodbye to his stuff. Chad tells Orville that he wishes he had better news, but he lost everything, his papers, his records, even that weird bird of his. Eve is troubled when Chad mentions the bird, but Chad thinks it is probably ashes. Meanwhile, Orville's neighbor decides to clean up Orville's bird so she can sell it.

At the Lopez-Fitzgerald house, Luis tells his mom that he's taking Sheridan Crane out to dinner. Pilar can't believe Luis is taking Sheridan out on a date, but Luis says it is not a date date. Luis says he just wants to ask Sheridan for help finding out the answers to his questions about Papa, and his imposter. Pilar asks Luis if Sheridan knows this is not a date? Luis thinks that Sheridan is not interested in dating him at all, and doesn't think she'd think it was a date.

At the cottage, Sheridan is trying on outfits for her first date with Luis. She then wonders why she's making such a big deal out of it all because Luis is just a guy. However, she tells herself that Luis is not like any other guy she's ever dated. Suddenly, Sheridan gets a call from daddy dearest about Luis. Alastair tells Sheridan that the family had nothing to do with Martin's disappearance, and he also wanted to see how she's been doing. Sheridan says she's fine. Alastair then tells her to stay away from Luis, because men only use her. Sheridan knows, and she says that he always reminds her of that. However, she promises him that the next man she goes out with will not use her, and Luis is too nice to use her. Alastair says that might be true for other girls, but she is destined to be used. He tells her that she is so terribly naive, warns her to stay away from Luis, and then hangs up. Sheridan tells herself that she is going out with Luis tonight, and he won't use her. She vows to prove to her father that she has changed.

Luis and Sheridan meet up at the Lobster Shack and even get their old table. They talk about their past for a bit, and laugh about it. Sheridan tells Luis that the reason she always acts fearless is because she was raised to act that way, but when people use her, she doesn't take it well at all. Luis decides to tell Sheridan why he invited her to dinner. Sheridan says she's been waiting to hear why. Luis tells Sheridan that he wants her to help him what Julian and Alastair know about the man who was posing as his father. Sheridan is crushed when she realizes that is why he asked her out. Sheridan becomes furious with him for having an agenda, but Luis says he's not asking as a cop, he's asking as Martin Fitzgerald's son. Sheridan is crushed that this wasn't a date to get to know her, but a date to use her. Sheridan tells Luis that he is just like every other man who has used her for her money or her connections. He says that is not true, but she says he only wants to use her to prove that her family is full of liars and possibly killers. She decides to stay away from Luis, like her father asked, and tells Luis to go to hell!

Sheridan goes home and is furious. She can't believe that she let Luis make a fool of her. She says she hates him and never wants to lay eyes on him again. Suddenly, Luis shows up at her door!

Charity and Miguel are hanging out at the Bennett house talking. Miguel is positive that nothing but good things will happen to them. Charity starts wondering about her own mother, and wonders how something so bad could happen to such a good person. She then begins to fear something bad could happen to Miguel. She says that if he died, she would die too. Miguel swears to her that nothing will happen, but Charity doesn't know why she's feeling this way. Miguel thinks that it is just all this death that has her feeling this way. Still, Charity can't help feeling that someone might die tonight.

At Tabitha's place, Tabitha is searching her place for something to make Charity kill Miguel. Timmy tells Tabitha that she is wasting her time because Charity will never kill Miguel, but Tabitha says the ancient book is never wrong. Timmy says not since Romeo and Juliet has there been a love like Charity and Miguel's. Tabitha wonders if there is something in Shakespeare's plays that might be able to help her. She says she never did meet the Big Will, but the witched from MacBeth always talked about him. Timmy starts telling Tabitha that she's washed up and will never get Charity to kill Miguel because she loves him more than her own life. Tabitha suddenly gets a flash of inspiration and tells Timmy that he just told her how she's going to pull it off! Timmy doesn't want Tabitha to hurt Charity and Miguel, but she tells him that it is too late. Tabitha plans on having Charity poison Miguel, and her grief will cause her to turn to the darkside. Tabitha concocts some poison, and then says she has to test it on something. Timmy suggests Fluffy, but Tabitha tests it on some flowers instead. The poison kills the flowers, so Tabitha plans to put her plan in motion. Tabitha calls up Charity and invites her and Miguel over for tea and pastries. Charity and Miguel accept and say they will be right over. Tabitha pours the tea, and then reads the leaves to make sure her plan will work. Afterwards, she poisons the pastry she is going to have Charity serve Miguel. Miguel and Charity arrive and Tabitha thanks them for coming. Miguel thanks her for inviting them. Tabitha tells them that she heard the good news about the funeral, which is why they should celebrate! She tells them to make themselves at home while she goes to get their tea. Tabitha goes back into the kitchen and makes everything on the tea tray perfect, and Timmy tells her that she's being as fussy as Martha Stewart, which is not a good thing! Tabitha tells him that she has to make sure she knows which pastry is the poisoned one because she doesn't want to be the one to eat it. Timmy begs Tabitha not to kill Miguel, but Tabitha says Miguel's fate is sealed!

Friday

January 21
Ethan calls Gwen and tells her that they need to talk. Gwen thinks that Ethan has come to his senses about Theresa having no boyfriend. Ethan says that he is calling to invite her to dinner, but she refuses to go anywhere with him until he admits Theresa has a boyfriend. Ethan doesn't understand why it is so important that he admit this. Gwen says it is because if he can't admit that she's off limits, then he has to admit that he wants to be with her. Gwen hangs up on Ethan, and Ivy talks with Ethan about his problems with Gwen and how they have to do with Theresa. Ethan asks her if she's implying that he has feelings for Theresa? Ivy says no and says that she knows everything that happened where just accidents or coincidences, and the one truly at fault is Julian for planting the seed of doubt in Gwen's head by suggesting to Ethan that he bed Theresa, which Gwen overheard. Ethan says he's tried to convince Gwen that nothing is going on between him and Theresa. Ivy tells him there is only one other thing he can do, he has to go to Theresa! Ivy tells him that Theresa is the only one who can convince Gwen that there is nothing between them, but Ethan says he thinks he needs to stay away from Theresa because it will just fuel Gwen's jealousy. Still, Ivy thinks that talking to Theresa is the answer. However, she says that if for some crazy reason Gwen is right, she will make sure Miss Lopez-Fitzgerald is out of this house and out of his life for good!

At the cottage, Sheridan tells Luis that what he did was low and she never would have gone out with him if she knew he wanted to use her. Sheridan tells Luis that she won't help him, and tries to slam the door in his face. However, he stops her and says he's not here to enlist her help, he's here to say he's sorry. He tells her that he didn't mean to be insensitive on purpose, and he is not like Jean-Luc. Sheridan lets Luis in, and Luis promises to make things up to her. He apologizes to her for coming across looking like he was taking advantage of her, because he would never do that to her. Sheridan says she knows that. Luis asks if she'll accept his apology if he throws in another dinner? She accepts his apology and dinner invitation. He then starts rambling about the case and how it is driving him crazy. He wonders if his father is still alive, and why this man stole his father's identity. Sheridan doesn't know if he can solve this one, but Luis says his life and his family's are on the line. Luis says that he just has to solve this mystery, but it was wrong of him to ask her to help him. Sheridan decides to be honest with Luis and tells him that she hasn't told him the whole truth about her family. Sheridan says that Julian and Alastair are very demanding and secretive men, but she can't believe that they would deliberately tear apart his mother's family. Still, Luis has his suspicions and tells her he will still be investigating them, but he'll do it on his own. He asks Sheridan to forget this night ever happened, but Sheridan says she can't do that. She says that she still owes him her life, and she feels guilty for not wanting to help him. Sheridan wants to help him, but Luis refuses to use her to get to the truth. Sheridan says he won't be using him, she'll be helping prove that her family did not hurt his. SHeridan tells Luis that she'll get him into the mansion to search around. Luis thanks her, but says he will pass because he doesn't want her to think that every man uses her. He says he'll get the proof on his own, and then he leaves. Before leaving, Luis tells Sheridan that she deserves the best, a good guy like Hank for example. Before he leaves, Sheridan gives Luis a warning. She says that if her family feels threatened, they take no prisoners, so he should be careful.

Theresa is in her room and is telling Whitney that she was a fool to question fate. Theresa says that fate is pushing Gwen away from Ethan, and bringing her and Ethan closer together. Theresa then reads parts of her diary to Whitney which contain all the proof that Ethan loves her. Whitney asks Theresa how she is going to get rid of Gwen? Theresa jokes that perhaps she'll poison her! Theresa tells Whitney that she has to prove to Ethan that Gwen is not the right woman for him. Whitney asks her how she's going to do that? Theresa says she's going to have to make him see the heartless side of Gwen. Suddenly, Theresa gets a phone call from Ethan. Ethan tells her that he needs to see her about Gwen and asks if he can come over? Theresa tells him that she'd love to see him, so he says he'll be over tonight.

Ethan comes over to see Theresa, and Whitney makes herself scarce. Ethan tells Theresa that he really needs her help with Gwen. He tells her that things have gotten really bad between them and tells her all about Gwen's suspicions. He asks Theresa to help him prove to Gwen that she is the woman for him. Theresa says there is something, and asks for Gwen's telephone number. Whitney ends up cough, so Theresa excuses herself and claims that Miguel is coughing and she needs to take him his medicine. She goes to see what is wrong with Whitney, who wants to know what she's up to. Theresa goes back into the kitchen and calls Gwen up. Theresa invites her and Ethan out tomorrow for dinner to meet her boyfriend, so Gwen accepts. Ethan thanks Theresa with a big hug. Ethan leaves, and Whitney asks Theresa if she is nuts? Theresa says she is putting true love to the test, she believes that Ethan will chose her tomorrow night. Whitney asks her what about her boyfriend?

At Tabitha's, Charity tells Miguel that she can feel that someone she cares about is going to die. In the kitchen, Tabitha is busy poisoning the pastries as Timmy begs Tabitha not to make Charity kill Miguel. Tabitha says she has no other choice, and that she is just an instrument to make the book's prediction come true. Timmy thinks if she doesn't serve them, Miguel won't die. Tabitha says that is not true because the tea leaves said someone would eat the poisoned pastry and die, so if it's not Miguel than it must be Charity. Tabitha orders Timmy into doll mode, and then takes the tray and Timmy out into the other room. Tabitha offers to pour them a cup of tea, but Miguel says they have to leave. Miguel tells Tabitha that Charity has been having premonitions of death. Charity tells Tabitha that death is very close, so Tabitha pretends to have heart problems and asks for Miguel and Charity to go get her pills. Miguel and Charity bring her her pills and some water, and Tabitha claims to be feeling much better. She then thanks them for saving her life, and Charity thinks this must have been what her premonition was about. Tabitha pours herself a cup of tea, and Miguel and Charity join her. Charity takes a pastry, and then passes it to Miguel. Both Timmy and Tabitha watch as Miguel goes to select his pastry, but at the last second he decides he's not hungry. Tabitha decides to go into the kitchen to check on her medication, and once inside she starts cursing Miguel. Back out in the living room, Charity continues to have her odd premonitions. Tabitha returns and insists Miguel eat a pastry, so she hands him the one on the red doily, the poisoned one. Tabitha crams one into her mouth to show him how good they are, so Miguel tastes his and says it is very good. Miguel suddenly feels poorly, so he decides to step out for some air. Tabitha and Timmy watch him from the window and wait for him to keel over, but Miguel suddenly feels better. Timmy smiles, but Tabitha doesn't know what went wrong. Timmy tells Tabitha that he has to make a confession, he switched the poisoned pastry. He tells her that it is still on the plate, so she should throw it away. Too late! Tabitha has already crammed the last one in her mouth! Tabitha suddenly melts into a puddle of water!
