Down in the kitchen, Pilar is having trouble sleeping. Hank comes to see her to see if she needs anything. Pilar thanks him for his concern. Hank tells him that he is sorry for her loss. Pilar feels bad for her children because they've lost their father for a second time, and Luis is still blaming himself. Pilar opens up to Hank and tells him that Martin was a good man, a devoted husband and father, not the type of man who would kidnap anyone or steal anything. Pilar tells Hank that she doubts the man who died tonight was her Martin. Pilar says that Martin's face was so messed up because of the fall, and the only one to identify him was Julian. Hank believes that the man was Martin because he said he was Martin and he told Luis he was his father. Pilar suddenly realizes that she knows how to prove whether this man was or wasn't her husband. Pilar says her husband had a scar behind his ear, so she needs to see the body to try and find this scar.
Timmy drags Tabitha over to the Bennetts to turn Charity to the dark side. Tabitha tells Timmy that he has to go up to Charity's bedroom and sprinkle some herbs in her room, but Timmy says that he does not scale buildings! Tabitha picks Timmy up and tries to make him climb the trellis, but Timmy cries that he's scared of heights. Tabitha tells Timmy that she won't force him if he doesn't want to. She then sprinkles the herbs on Timmy. Timmy asks what she sprinkled on him? Tabitha says she just sprinkled catnip on him! Timmy tells Tabitha that she drives a hard bargain, so he agrees to climb up to Charity's room.
Grace can't sleep as she is worrying about Sam being in Ivy's arms. Sam returns from the investigation and can't believe Grace is still up. Grace says she's had trouble sleeping, and Sam thinks he knows why, because of Martin Fitzgerald's death and its effect on Pilar and her family. Grace plays along and says that is why she can't sleep. Sam decides to go get some milk for her so she can sleep, and once he's gone, Grace hears Timmy in Charity's room!
Timmy sprinkles the herbs on the floor of Charity's room while saying all sorts of mumbo-jumbo words, which Tabitha told him to say. Suddenly, Grace walks into Charity's room. Timmy manages to hide in Charity's bed, and Grace believes he is Charity, and the sound was coming from the open window and the wind. She notices the scent of catnip, but ignores it and leaves. Unfortunately, as he is trying to leave, Tabitha hears someone coming and tells Timmy to hide.
Miguel, Charity, and Kay arrive home, and Miguel thanks Charity for everything. He also tells Kay that she's a really good buddy. Miguel leaves, and Charity and Kay head inside. Kay and Charity go up to Charity's room, and just as Kay is about to leave, Kay hears Timmy under the bed. Charity goes to look under the bed, but hears something at her window. It is Miguel throwing rocks at it to check to make sure she is okay. Kay leaves and says this means war! She vows not to let Charity take Miguel from her. Charity closes her window and locks it, trapping Timmy inside! Charity gets in bed, and Timmy prays that Tabitha will save him. Outside, Tabitha realizes Timmy is trapped and may be discovered!
Grace returns to her room and admits to Sam that the real reason she couldn't sleep is because she was thinking about him being in Ivy's arms at the stroke of midnight. She knows it is silly, but tells him about the magazine Kay was reading. Sam thinks he can fix it, so he turns he clock back to just before midnight. As he holds Grace, she back away and tells him that she can smell Ivy's perfume on him. Sam takes a shower and then jumps in bed with Grace to make love to her. Grace kisses him back and says it was silly of her to be jealous of Ivy.
At the mansion, Ivy demands that Julian tell her the truth about Martin Fitzgerald. Julian says Martin came here to blackmail him, so he locked him in the basement to buy himself some time. Ivy asks why MArtin would kidnap Sheridan? Julian says that he doesn't know how the criminal mind works, he probably had a chemical imbalance. Ivy just hopes that Luis doesn't find out the truth about his father's connection to this family. Ivy wonders if the dead man was even the real Martin Fitzgerald, after all his own family didn't recognize him. She asks Julian if that man was the real Martin Fitzgerald or not? Julian suggests they call father so she can ask him the question? Ivy tells Julian goodnight! Julian tells his wife that he suggests she drop this subject because Alastair doesn't like people causing problems for him. Julian also tells Ivy that he saw her jump into Chief Bennett's arms tonight, and how strange it must have been for her to be so close to a man because she hasn't made love to a man in such a long time, unless she has a secret lover. However, he laughs and says he knows she wouldn't be so stupid as to be unfaithful to him. Ivy leaves the room, and later Alastair talks to Julian about the events of the night. Alastair says the one good thing that could come out of this is that Sheridan won't like Luis investigating her family, hopefully it will drive a wedge between them. Julian asks why they'd need to drive a wedge between them, Sheridan hates Luis, and he hates her. Alastair informs Julian that Luis and Sheridan are falling for one another, and they need to stop this little development before anything more happens. Alastair then orders Julian to have Martin's body cremated.
At the youth center, Sheridan tries to convince Luis that he's not to blame for his father's death, but Luis says she was there, he should have saved his father. Sheridan tells him "you should have just let me die." Luis tells her that is not what he meant, and he could never have let her die. Luis continues to blame himself for his families pain, especially his mother's. Luis cries as he tells Sheridan that he saw his mother blow his father's candle out tonight, along with all her hopes and dreams. Sheridan tells Luis that there is no way his family would ever hold him responsible for his families death. Sheridan asks Luis when the last time he ate was? He says he had breakfast. Sheridan can't believe he hasn't eaten in almost 24 hours. Luis says everything is closed by now, and he can't go home. Sheridan thinks she knows of a place they can go, so she tells him to follow her.
Sheridan takes Luis back to her place to cook him some eggs. He asks her why she's doing this for him? She tells him that it is the least she can do for him, after all he did save her life tonight. Luis isn't very hungry, so Sheridan takes the food he doesn't ear back into the kitchen. When she returns, Luis is fast asleep on her couch. Sheridan covers him up and says goodnight to him.
Kay calls Simone over to her house to talk about Miguel. However, Simone only wants to talk about Chad and Orville. Kay eventually interrupts Simone and tells her that she found Miguel and Charity in bed together last night! Simone squeals and says this doesn't sound like Charity. Kay says that Charity has deceived them all, she is nothing but a two faced slut! Simone thinks she is lying and that this is just a joke, but Kay swears she is telling the truth. Kay explains to Simone how she found them together. Still, Simone thinks that Charity is still completely innocent, especially when she hears that they both had clothes on.
In Charity's room, Timmy sneaks out from under Charity's bed, but can't reach the lock on the window. He thinks that Tabitha must be trying to figure out how to get him out. Charity is still sleeping, and Timmy realizes he has to escape before Charity wakes up. Timmy picks up Charity's phone and runs into her closet to call Tabitha. At Tabitha's place, Tabitha is fast asleep on the couch when her phone rings. Timmy scolds his princess for sleeping while he's been stuck at the Bennetts. Timmy tells Tabitha to come rescue him. She claims she is working on it and will come up with something. Timmy puts Charity's phone back and gets back under her bed just as she wakes up. Charity is in a very good mood, and she says her morning prayers. She even prays for her strange neighbor Tabitha and her cute little doll. Suddenly, Charity begins to undress, and Timmy realizes he shouldn't be watching, so he covers his eyes. When Charity has her back turned, Timmy sneaks out.
Timmy makes his way downstairs where Simone and Kay are still talking. They hear him on the steps, but when they investigate, they find no one because Timmy has hidden in a chest. Charity comes down and is her usual sweet self. Charity tells them about the weird leaves in her room, so she goes to get a vacuum to clean them up. Kay is convinced that Charity was spying on them, and that she is a liar. Tabitha shows up to rescue Timmy and spots him in the chest. She tells Kay that she read in the paper about her friend's father, and she wants her to warn Miguel to be careful why he is grieving because someone might take advantage of him at a time like this. Kay assures Tabitha that she will take care of Miguel. Kay leaves the room to get Tabitah some tea, and once she's gone, Tabitha quickly grabs Timmy. Tabitha then hears Charity vacuuming the herbs and is angry. When Kay returns, she asks Tabitha where the doll came from? Tabitha assures Kay that she had it with her all along, and then she leaves.
Tabitha scolds Timmy for failing her. Timmy tells Tabitha that she is being very ungrateful, he risked his life for her and all she can do is complain! He assures Tabitha that he will never try a stunt like that again. Tabitha says he won't have to because she's out of herbs, but she will corrupt Charity using Kay as an ally.
At the Lopez-Fitzgerald's place, Pilar, Theresa, and Miguel are all sitting at the kitchen table talking about Martin's death. Theresa says she now realizes that there is no future for her and Ethan, and she means it this time. Miguel wonders where Luis is. Pilar doesn't know, and she says she's worried about him.
At the mansion, Julian calls someone and asks them to come to his home to talk about Martin Fitzgerald's body. When Julian turns around, he sees Ethan standing in the doorway of the living room. Luckily, Ethan did not hear who or what he was talking about. Julian then decides to talk to Julian about Theresa and what happened last night. Julian says he knows a fling with Theresa would be pleasant, but he'd like him to use a little discretion and not flaunt her in Gwen's face. Ethan says that there is nothing going on between him and Theresa because he loves Gwen, and he will marry Gwen for love, not for a business deal. Ethan decides to go see Sheridan, so Julian questions Ethan about how grateful Sheridan is to Luis for saving her. Ethan tells his father that his sexual innuendoes about him and Theresa are bad enough, but ones about Sheridan and Luis are ludicrous.
At Sheridan's cottage, Sheridan walks out in her nightgown and hears Luis having a nightmare about his father's death. Luis wakes up, and Sheridan, who is now dressed, tells Luis that he fell asleep and thought it was best to let him sleep. Luis thanks Sheridan for letting him stay the night. Ethan shows up to see Sheridan and he's shocked to find Luis with his aunt. Luis decides to call his family. Luis lets his mom know that he's fine, and he's on his way home. Luis tells her once he gets home they can discuss the funeral arrangements. Pilar tells Luis that before they do that, she wants to see the body to make sure it is his father.
Sheridan and Ethan go back to the mansion, and Julian overhears them talking about Luis. He is shocked to learn that Sheridan let Luis stay at her cottage overnight. Sheridan says she was only helping him out, but Ethan tells her it might mean more to Luis because he chose her over his own father. Sheridan says that Luis saved the innocent person, he would have saved anyone else in the same position. Later they also discuss Pilar wanting to see Martin's body again, which further disturbs Julian. Sheridan and Ethan decide to go visit Pilar to see how she is. Julian tells them to try and reason with Pilar and convince her not to go look at her husband's body because it will only upset her further. After they leave, Julian's visitor arrives. It is his old friend the undertaker. Julian orders him to cremate MArtin Fitzgerald's body ASAP. The man says he'll do it, and then he leaves.
Luis returns home and argues with his mother about seeing his father's body. Pilar isn't sure that the dead man is Martin or not, no matter what he or his ID said. Pilar says she just wants one last look before they bury him. Pilar tells Luis about the scar behind his father's ear, and if this man has the scar, then he is her husband. However, if he doesn't have the scar, than everything they've been told has been a lie! Luis agrees to call the morgue and set it up so she can see the body. Luis wished he had questioned Julian this morning. Pilar asks him why he was at the Crane Estate this morning? Luis explains why he was there, and what he wasn't doing.
Out back, Miguel talks with Theresa, who still wants to confess everything to Ethan. Miguel warns her to just stay away from Ethan because telling him the truth now would be too much for her to handle. She thinks that he is right, so she agrees to wait. Meanwhile, Theresa and Sheridan show up at their front door with flowers for Pilar. They ask Pilar if there is anything they can do for her, but she says no. Pilar says the only thing that can help her is lying in the morgue. Sheridan and Ethan ask her if she is sure she wants to do this? Pilar is sure. Luis decides to call the morgue to let them know they are coming, and Ethan decides to step out for some air. When Theresa sees Ethan, she thinks fate has brought him to see her, so she should tell him the truth. Back inside, Luis learns that his father's body has been released for cremation! Luis says his family never released the body, but the mortician says the body is already gone.
Outback, Theresa wants to tell Ethan the truth about the accident. Ethan believes he knows why she is blaming herself for her father's accident. Ethan says he took some psychology classes in college and this phenomenon is not uncommon. Before Theresa can confess the truth to Ethan, Pilar shows up and tells her about the mix-up with her father's body. Theresa becomes lightheaded, and Ethan catches her. Theresa apologizes, but he says it is okay. Pilar explains to them both what has happened, which upsets Theresa further. Ethan decides to go into the kitchen and help Luis and Sheridan. Theresa tells Pilar that she was about to confess the truth to Ethan, but she says not to blame herself. Pilar also tells Theresa that there is a chance that the dead man wasn't her father after all. Theresa sees a glimmer of hope because if the man who died isn't her father, than her love for Ethan didn't kill him! Ethan returns later, and Pilar leaves. Ethan asks Theresa what she wanted to say to him earlier? Suddenly, Ethan receives a phonecall from Gwen, who is at lighthouse park. She asks Ethan to come meet her for lunch. He says he can, and tells her that he'll be there in a few minutes. Before leaving, Ethan asks Theresa what she was going to say about fate. Theresa tells him that fate is a funny thing, one minute you think you know what was meant to be, and the next everything flip-flops. Ethan asks if that is all? Theresa says she also knows Gwen wasn't happy about her being in his arms at midnight, and she never meant to upset her. Ethan leaves, and Theresa says if that dead man isn't her father, she will end up with Ethan.
Henry calls Julian from the "We'll Meet Again Crematorium" and tells him that what he is about to do is illegal. Julian tells Henry that he will handle the family, he should just do as he's been ordered! Later, Alastair calls Julian to make sure if Martin has been disposed of. Julian says that it has been taken care of. Alastair isn't convinced and orders Julian to go to the crematorium and personally supervise it.
Luis calls the "We'll Meet Again Crematorium" and threatens Henry that if his father's body is there and is cremated, he'll be charged with a crime. Luis says he is on his way down there, and hangs up. Luis, Sheridan, and Pilar head down to the crematorium. At the crematorium, Henry orders a mortician to cremate Martian's body now! As the mortician is ordering Martin's cremation, Luis, Pilar, and Sheridan show up and stop him. They learn that Henry told him to order the cremation of Martin's body, and Sheridan recognizes Henry as the mortician who has handled the Crane family burials for years. Luis grabs Henry and demands to know who authorized him to cremate his father's body? Suddenly, Julian shows up and says "I authorized it!"
Ethan meets up with Gwen in the park, and she thinks Theresa's boyfriend was at the Lopez-Fitzgerald house. She asks Ethan what he was like. Ethan says he wasn't there, and he didn't think to ask about him. Ethan asks Gwen if she's still on this boyfriend kick? Gwen says that she sees no way of getting Theresa out of their lives is to prove to him that Theresa is in love with him. Gwen asks Ethan that if she can prove to Ethan that Theresa love him, will he have her fired? Ethan says that Theresa position is important to her and her family. Gwen says she would expect him and his mother to find her a new job. Ethan tells Gwen that he will go along with this madness if she insists, but he doesn't see how she can prove Theresa is lying because she can't ask her to just produce a boyfriend while she is grieving.
At the hospital, Eve tries to wake up Orville to question him, but he won't wake up. Carol, a woman from social services, comes to see Eve on her request about Orville. Eve tells her that she's worried about his apartment being broken into or vandalized while he's in here, so Carol agrees to do her best to protect it. After Carol leaves, Orville wakes up and applauds Eve's wonderful performance. Orville knows that Eve did what she did to keep Chad, or anyone else, from finding out about Chad's or her past. Eve asks Orville if that is where he has the information? Orville tells her that her desperation is showing. Orville says the information on her is in his apartment, but he can't remember exactly where he put it. He says that all he recalls is putting it in a red envelope to give to her, but then he forgot about it. Eve vows to find and destroy the envelope. She then asks Orville why Simone and Whitney should stay away from Chad? Orville just tells her to keep them away from Chad Harris, and then goes to sleep. Later, Carol returns and tells Eve that they just sealed off Orville's place, and even stopped a young man named Chad from breaking in. Eve thanks her, and asks for the keys to Orville's place to search for Orville's medical history. Carol says of course, and gives her the keys.
At the Java Cafe, Chad puts on a song, which Whitney thinks is about her. Chad tells her that he just likes this song, that is all. He then gives her a free cup of coffee as a payback for the cup of tea that she gave him. Whitney asks Chad if he found anything out after he left her house last night? Chad says all he knows now is that he could be anybody's kid. He also says he doesn't think the people who raised and abandoned him where his real parents. Chad wishes he could make out what was written underneath the blacked out box. Whitney says there must be some way they can find out his original name. Chad tells her that mommy dearest wouldn't like her getting mixed up with him. Whitney tells Chad not to call her mom that, and she says she's only doing this for Orville. Chad tells her that this is his problem, and she doesn't have to worry about him or his birth certificate. They end up arguing about Whitney's mom, and Chad tells Whitney that her perfect mom didn't tell her the entire truth about her walk last night. Chad tells Whitney that he found her mom at Orville's last night looking for something. Chad says that her mother wouldn't let him look around, so that is why he's going back today. Whitney decides to go see Theresa, who has shown up, and tells Chad to keep her updated. Theresa tells Whitney the good news about the dead man, and how she might not have to stop loving Ethan after all. Theresa tells Whitney that she has hope again, she doesn't have to give up on Ethan. Whitney asks her what about Gwen, she still wants to see this phantom boyfriend? Theresa thinks that Gwen wouldn't be so cold to ask her to produce a boyfriend right now. Chad returns from his trip to Orville's and tells Whitney that her mother asked social services to seal off Orville's apartment. Elsewhere, Ethan and Gwen show up and Gwen talks with Theresa. Gwen tells Theresa that she's here to help in anyways she can, and she's sure that her boyfriend will be at the funeral. Theresa says he will be, if there is a funeral. Gwen says if it isn't her father who died, then she, her boyfriend, Ethan, and herself should all go out to celebrate.
At the funeral home, Sheridan, Luis, and Pilar are shocked to learn that Julian ordered Martin's body to be cremated. Luis asks Julian who in the hell he thinks he is? Julian says he was trying to do what was best for his family, but Luis doesn't believe him. Julian says that Pilar is obviously upset, and he must be feeling bad about choosing Sheridan over his own father, so he thought he'd thank him for saving their Sheridan by helping with the financial strain of the funeral. Pilar thanks him, but their family takes care of their own. Luis says if his story is true, why did he decide order a cremation rather than a burial? Julian tells Luis a story about how Martin comforted him once when his uncle Fabious died, and Martin mentioned that he wanted to be cremated when he died because he didn't want to be a financial burden on his family. Pilar says that she and Martin never talked about funeral arrangements, they always thought they had time. Luis says that it is a good thing they stopped this cremation, because there is a question as to whether the man is Martin. Julian asks how they can be certain this man isn't Martin? Pilar says Martin had a scar behind his ear, and Luis insists they look at the body. The morticians look at Julian, and Luis tells them that it is not his decision. He says that they are family, and he orders them to open the casket. The morticians open the casket, and Pilar looks for the scar. However, the beard is covering where is should be, so Luis orders them to get a raiser to shave him. While the mortician follows Luis' orders, Sheridan asks her brother what is really going on? Julian says he could ask her the same thing, what is going on with her and Luis? Sheridan eventually gives up on questioning Julian. The mortician shaves Martin, so they look for the scar once again. They obviously find the scar as Pilar buries her head into Luis' shoulder and begins to cry. The mortician asks if they should still cremate the body, but Luis says no. Sheridan tells Julian that they should leave and let Luis and Pilar grieve alone. Sheridan tells Pilar and Luis how sorry she is and offers to help in anyway she can. Both Sheridan and Julian leave, and Julian tells Sheridan this is the pain that he wanted to spare them from. Later, Pilar tells Luis that something is wrong, something is terribly wrong. Pilar says that her husband was incapable of doing the things this man did, and she knows in her heart that this is not her husband. She asks Luis to help her prove that this man is not her husband. Luis says he'll find a way to figure out whether this is or isn't Martin Fitzgerald.
At the Book Cafe, Chad tells Whitney that her mother arranged for social services to seal off Orville's place. Whitney says that perhaps her mom was just looking for information on Orville's medical history, but Chad thinks her mom is obviously hiding something. Whitney tells Chad that her mom has nothing to hide, but Chad says everyone has their secrets. Whitney tells Chad that he has no right to make accusations against her mother, so Chad asks Whitney why her mom would lock up Orville's apartment if she had nothing to hide? Whitney thinks that her mom is just trying to protect his property while he is in the hospital. Whitney ends up getting all upset and storms away from Chad.
Elsewhere, Gwen tells Theresa that she's really looking forward to meeting her boyfriend at the funeral. Ethan tells Gwen that he thinks Theresa has more important things on her mind right now. Ethan leaves to get them some coffee, and when Theresa tries to leave, Gwen tells her not to rush off because they have so much to talk about. Gwen tells Theresa once again how sorry she is, and she hopes she hasn't had to deal with this all on her own. Theresa says she has her family, but Gwen says it must be a comfort to know she has her boyfriend. Theresa remembers Ethan holding her and says she doesn't know what she'd do without him. Ethan ends up returning and lets Theresa go, and then he scolds Gwen for what she was doing to Theresa.
Theresa goes to see Whitney and tells her how mean and cruel Gwen was to her, questioning her about her boyfriend in the wake of her father's death. Theresa is furious that Gwen was talking about her father's funeral as it was a country club dance, and she calls Gwen an unfeeling bitch! Whitney says that Gwen is just trying to catch the woman who is trying to steal her man. However, Theresa says the way she was going about it was wrong. Theresa says that it is time she puts Gwen in her place for being mean to her. Whitney tells Theresa that she's asking for trouble, but Theresa thinks she can handle it. Theresa says that if Gwen wants to meet her boyfriend, she'll let her. Whitney asks her how she will produce a boyfriend who doesn't exist? Theresa says she doesn't have to, and she uses Whitney's cell phone to call her someone so that Gwen thinks she's calling her boyfriend. Theresa tells Whitney how nobody, not even Gwen, should be so cruel to someone no matter how you feel about them. Whitney tells Theresa that she is right, and leaves to do something. Theresa approaches Gwen and tells her that she just called her boyfriend, and he will be with her at his funeral and he can't wait to meet her (Gwen). Suddenly, Sheridan shows up and gives Theresa the bad news, the dead man was her father. Theresa begins to cry and says she wants to be alone, so she takes off. Gwen says she needs to go to the office to get some papers, so she leaves as well. Gwen runs after Theresa and apologizes to her and says she will see both her and her boyfriend at the funeral. Back inside, Sheridan talks with Ethan and tells her that Julian offered to pay for the funeral, and he was the one who ordered the cremation.
Whitney goes back to see Chad and apologizes to him for being nasty to him earlier. Chad tells her that it didn't bother him. Chad feels like his life is one big question mark and he doesn't know what to believe anymore. As they talk, Eve and TC walk in, and Eve sees Whitney with Chad.
Julian goes home and calls his dad to tell him the good news, Luis and Pilar have absolute proof that the body is MArtin's and there is no need for them to snoop any longer. Alatsair tells Julian to go ahead and cremate the body after the funeral.
At the station, Luis talks with Sam about how his mom wants proof that the dead man is or isn't Martin Fitzgerald. Sam says that he'll help him in any way he can. Unfortunately, there are no finger prints, dental records, medical records, or military records to use. Sam says the only way is DNA, but Luis says it is too expensive. However, Luis realizes he has no choice but to do the DNA test to help his mother out. Sam suggests he talk to Eve Russell. Luis says he used to want his marriage to be like his parents, but now he knows that was a wrong thing want. He tells him that he wants his marriage to be like his and Grace's. Luis then tells Sam this story about a couple who were the subject of an investigation of his awhile ago. The man's old girlfriend came back into his life, and when the wife caught them together, she stabbed them both! Sam tells Luis "That won't happen to Grace and me!" Luis asks him why he's so upset, he wasn't suggesting an old flame of his would walk back into his life and break up his marriage. Sam apologizes and says he's just been a little edgy lately. Luis says it is understandable, he saw a man fall to his death. Luis decides to head to check out this DNA thing, and Sam decides to go to the shop to surprise Grace.
At Grace's shop, Grace can't stop thinking about Sam and Ivy's mistletoe kiss. However, she tells herself that she's being silly because Ivy is a married woman, and Sam hates the Cranes. Ivy puts on a hat and wonders if she looks good in it, because Sami likes her in it. Suddenly, Ivy shows up and tells her that she looks great in it. Grace is shocked to see Ivy and asks her what she is doing here? Ivy says she wants to make a financial donation to Pilar's family, but she knows they won't accept Crane money, so she was hoping she could find a way to get the money to the family for the funeral without them knowing where it came from. Grace says she thinks that is very kind and thinks it can be done. Grace leaves to call Father Lonagin to arrange for the money to be given to the family. Once she is gone, Ivy puts on the hat Grace was trying on and wonders what Sam would think of her in it. Sam shows up with flowers and sees Ivy from the back, and thinks she is Grace. He sneaks up behind her, puts his arms around her, and calls her gorgeous. Grace walks in, and Ivy giggles. Sam explains everything to Grace, who is in shock. He then gives her the flowers he brought for her. Grace tells Sam that he's lucky she's not the jealous or suspicious type. Sam asks Ivy what she is doing here? Ivy says she needed Grace's help, and Grace explains that Ivy wants to pay for Martin's funeral. Ivy tells them that she'll see them at the funeral, and then she leaves. Sam continues to badger Grace to make sure that she knows what happened was just a mistake. Grace says she knows nothing could happen between him and Ivy because Ivy is a kind person, not the kind of person who would break apart a family. A spying Ivy says Grace can have Sam now, but he was hers first and she will get him back!
Miguel and Charity go for a walk, and they talk. Charity tells Miguel that she doesn't want to take things too fast. Miguel says he's waited his whole life for her, so he wouldn't do anything to upset her. Charity can't believe he is comforting her, when she should be comforting him. Charity hugs Miguel, and Kay almost pukes as she watches. Kay tells Simone, who is with her, that she needs to find a way to keep Miguel and Charity apart for good. Kay looks in her "magic brooch" for Miguel's face, but it is no longer in it. Simone tells her that brooch is evil and she needs to get rid of it. Simone tells Kay that Miguel is with Charity because he wants to be, not because she's forcing him. Kay still refuses to listen to reason because she was in Miguel's arms at midnight, not Charity. Simone says that does not count because Whitney was in Chad's arms, and there is no way she's letting them be together! Meanwhile, Miguel shows Charity the island that his dad loved and it was his dream to own it. Miguel says his dad may be dead, but his dream will live on. Miguel vows to own that island one day. Miguel says he will make it a place to live out his dreams. Charity asks if she can come too? Miguel says he wouldn't go without her. Back from their spying zone, Kay tells Simone that a couple is not a couple until they kiss, and Charity and Miguel have not kissed. Kay then storms off to take care of something.
At Tabitha's house, Tabitha is reading her book of prophecies, but the ink is too faded and she can't read the words. Timmy walks in with the perfect Martimmy. Tabitha grabs it and pours it on the book to bring out the words, but it doesn't work. As Tabitha looks for an incantation or a potion, the angel girl appears. The angel girl warns Tabitha to listen to her words and leave Charity alone. Tabitha asks the angel girl what she'd do if she did decide to go after Charity. Tabitha reminds her of her own prophecy, that Charity would be brought over to the dark side. The angel says she said she could be brought over to the dark side, not would. The angel says she is counting on Miguel's love to keep Charity good. Tabitha says she will work on that, and she tells the angel girl that a strand of her hair will help her do it! Tabitha reaches for a strand of her hair, but the angel vanishes. Tabitha thinks that the angels are scared, which means that Kay's plans to keep Charity and Miguel apart must be working. Suddenly, there is a knock at Tabitha's door. Timmy turns into a doll, and Tabitha answers the door. It is Kay, who is upset because she can't see the face of the boy she loves in the brooch. Tabitha looks at the brooch, shines it, shakes it, and asks her what she sees now? Kay says she sees nothing. Tabitha tells her that means the boy is becoming someone else's. Kay starts whining and says she cannot loose this boy! Tabitha starts shaking Kay violently and tells her to fight and not let this girl take away the boy she loves! Kay asks her why it is so important to her? Tabitha apologizes and says it is just her duty to repay her for her family's kindness. Tabitha asks Kay if he has kissed this floozy yet? Kay says no, so Tabitha tells her that she still has time. Tabitha tells her to act alluring and confident, and she sends Kay on her way. Kay leaves, and Tabitha returns to her book to try and find a way to lure Charity to the dark side.
Back at the park, Charity and Miguel talk about their dreams for their future in the house on the island. Luis shows up and apologizes for interrupting. He tells Miguel that their mom still doesn't believe that the dead man is there father. Charity feels that they should believe their mom because when you love someone the way their mom loves their father, you have to follow your heart.
