February 2001 Week 3
Due to a Mishap, I only have short summaries for last week as most of my long ones got erased :( Sorry!
Monday
February 19
From NBC, Today is Dustin's long day of classes
At the Crane mansion, Ethan announces his intention to move out immediately. Gwen quickly offers to let Ethan stay with her. Theresa insists
Ethan will stay at her home, but Ethan decides to make other arrangements. After Ethan heads upstairs to pack, Gwen makes Theresa
feel insecure about her relationship with Ethan.
Whitney warns Chad she'll no longer be his friend if he tells Ethan that Theresa kept his paternity a secret. Chad and Whitney get into a heated
discussion about love.
Sam is devastated as Grace flatlines. Eve announces nothing more can be done; Grace has given up the will to live. As Sam begs his wife to wake up,
a pained Ivy witnesses Sam's deep love for Grace.
Kay is put on the spot after Charity's voice emanates from the computer and pleads for Kay to tell everyone where she is. Miguel begs Kay to reveal
Charity's whereabouts, but she insists she doesn't know. Father Lonigan expresses his disappointment in Kay. She reminds the priest he can't
expose her since he is bound to keep her confession a secret. Kay is horrified as Charity's voice continues to beg Kay to save her. As Kay's
resolve begins to weaken, Hecuba warns her to keep quiet by causing a strong wind to rip through the Bennett home.
Tuesday
February 20
Out in the snow, Luis tells Sheridan that Grace lost her baby. Sheridan feels
terrible,
and wonders if there really is evil in Harmony. Sheridan doesn't feel like going
home, so Luis
takes her to "Luis' bar and grill," a place he and Hank used to take their dates in
high school for
cookouts. Luis decides to fire up the grill and roast them some chestnuts. Luis runs
to get them
some coffee, and Sheridan calls Ethan (see below for call details). When Luis
returns, he sees Sheridan is upset,
and she tells him why. Sheridan says she will hate the person who exposed the truth
to the tabloids for ever.
Luis tells her that person is not a part of their lives, and he tries to reassure her
that everything will be okay.
At the mansion, Whitney warns Theresa that Chad is going to tell Ethan the truth
about her. Theresa waits outside of Ethan's
room and listens as Ethan asks Chad if he knows of anyone who could have seen the
letter.
Fortunately, Sheridan's call interrupts them, so Chad leaves so Ethan can have some
privacy.
Ethan tells Sheridan that he is leaving the mansion, which upsets Sheridan.
Meanwhile, Theresa begs Chad not to tell Ethan the truth. Chad says he is doing this
so Ethan isn't blind-sided
again. Theresa fears Ethan will hate her, but Chad says Ethan loves her, and their
love will grow if they
are honest. Chad says the only way to keep him from telling Ethan is if she tells him
first.
Theresa refuses to take that chance, so Chad says he will tell Ethan the truth.
Chad goes back in to see Ethan, and Theresa panics. Realizing she has to be the one
to tell Ethan,
Theresa rushes into Ethan's room. Theresa tells Ethan that she has to tell Ethan
something about the letter.
Theresa says she doesn't know who sent it to the tabloids, but she knows someone
close to her knew about the letter.
Ethan becomes upset, and demands to know who knew and didn't tell him. Theresa tells
him that this person loves him very much.
Ethan tells her that she doesn't have to say anymore, he knows who this person is.
At the Bennett's, Father Lonigan warns Kay that she must tell Miguel the truth,
otherwise
evil will destroy her entire family. Charity eventually begins speaking through the
computer, which
causes Miguel to go berserk. Father Lonigan continues to pressure Kay to tell Miguel,
but Kay refuses.
Father Lonigan asks for God's help, so the angel arrives and begs Kay to tell Miguel
the truth.
Kay thinks she has snapped, she has gone nuts. The angel tells Kay that she is not
crazy, and that if Charity is lost
then evil can take over the entire world.
Hecuba and Timmy show up outside the Bennett's and find Hecuba trying to figure out
what to do next. Hecuba tells Tabitha and Timmy that Kay is close to cracking, so she
must find a
way to stop her from talking. Meanwhile, Timmy begins working on the sequel to Hidden
Passions.
Tabitha and Hecuba begin bonding over their past schemes, and Hecuba admits to
Tabitha that she is finally beginning
to see why she had so much trouble killing Charity. Timmy warns Tabitha and Hecuba
that they are in big trouble!
They look inside and see the angel girl talking to Kay. Hecuba realizes the only
thing to do is to kill Miguel
as well. Tabitha says she's tried before and failed, but Hecuba says her plan won't
fail.
Meanwhile, Miguel runs through the house searching for Charity. Jessica realizes
Miguel in on the ledge, so to speak,
and Reese fears that Charity must be dead. Suddenly, Miguel hears Charity's
voice coming from the basement! Miguel and the kids run downstairs, unaware it is a
trap set by Hecuba. Once in the basement,
Hecuba locks them in. Then she locks Father Lonigan and Kay inside the house,
and casts a spell which conjures up the shadow creatures! The lights go out, and a
demon
grabs Kay! Next, HEcuba casts a spell to make the basement walls close in and crush
the kids!
Wednesday
February 21
Luis and Sheridan continue their walk in the park until Sheridan finally admits to
Luis
that she is freezing. Luis is cold as well, but didn't want to spoil the romance by
admitting it.
Luis and Sheridan return to the cottage, and Luis builds a fire while Sheridan
changes.
Later, Sheridan comes out wearing a sexy black negligee!
At the mansion, Ethan becomes angry with Theresa when he realizes who knew he wasn't
a Crane. Theresa says the
secret was kept out of love, but Ethan says that is not his definition of love, they
had an obligation
to tell him! Theresa fears she is done for, until Ethan says he knows she is speaking
of Pilar. Ethan also says
understands why Pilar didn't tell him, because she had an obligation to his mother
first.
Chad and Whitney return, and Chad doesn't understand why Theresa didn't tell Ethan
the truth.
Later, Ethan decides to make a list of anyone who could have known about the letter.
Theresa begins to tell Ethan that
if someone else did know of the letter, what if they kept it from him hoping he'd
never find out and that he'd never
have to suffer this pain? Ethan thinks Theresa is wonderful to be so compassionate,
but this person should have told him.
Ethan also says that even if this person had nothing to do with the tabloid story, if
they accidentally let the information
fall into the hands of the guilty party, then they are guilty as well and he will
hate them forever.
Ethan then recalls that Chad had an idea of who might have known about the letter, so
he asks Chad point blank if he knows?
At the Bennett's Hecuba and Tabitha continue their bonding fest as Timmy continues to
take notes for his book.
Hecuba begins to take a liking to Timmy, and asks Tabitha if she could teach her how
to make a doll because it gets awfully lonely
in her cave. Tabitha says she'd be delighted to teach her. Timmy has a fantasy that
Hecuba's doll is a tall blonde named Bambi, who is taken
with Timmy. Meanwhile, the kids continue to be squashed by the basement walls, and
Kay and Father Lonigan are chased around by demons. One demon grabs Kay
and is about to kill her, but Father Lonigan saves her with his holy water. Kay runs
outside to find Hecuba, and she demands that Hecuba stop this.
Hecuba laughs and tells Kay that all her friends and family will die, including her
beloved Miguel. Kay finally realizes that Hecuba has no intention
of keeping their bargain. As Father Lonigan prays for help, the angel girl arrives to
aid him.
Father Lonigan and Kay run into the kitchen after taking care of the demons, and
Father Lonigan says a prayer which causes the locks
on the basement door to vanish. Father Lonigan then tells Miguel and the others that
the only thing that can save them is their faith,
and that they should pray. As the kids say the Lord's Prayer, the walls return to
their normal positions. Hecuba is furious that the kids are free,
and is even more angry when Kay finally agrees to tell Miguel everything.
Thursday
February 22
At the cottage, Luis and Sheridan are lying in front of the fire. Luis tells Sheridan
that she is an angel sent
to him from heaven, and she tells him that he is the tall, dark stranger from her
dreams that has made them
come true. Sheridan tells Luis that their love is eternal. Sheridan tells Luis that
she never thought she'd find someone
like him, strong, brave, kind, honest, gentle, and incredibly sexy. She says that she
had almost given up hope that anyone like
him existed. As they kiss, we are treated to a montage of Sheridan and Luis' most
romantic moments.
After the montage, Sheridan and Luis begin to make love by the fire.
At the mansion, Ethan asks Chad if he knows of anyone who knew his mother's secret,
does he have any idea
who may have made a copy of the letter? Chad tells Ethan that if he knew who sent his
mom's letter to the tabloid
he would tell him, but he doesn't know. Ethan says whoever it is, he will find them.
Ethan tells Chad, Whitney, and Theresa that
he'll need all their help finding out who did this to him. Ethan thinks Whitney or
Chad are bound to hear some bit of gossip about who
found the letter and who was low enough to go to the tabloid. Whitney says perhaps
whoever had the letter never meant anything to happen to
the letter, and that someone else took it from them. Ethan says that could have
happened, but the fact that the person who originally had the letter
and didn't come to him in the first place is still unforgivable. Furthermore, the
person made a copy of the letter, why would they do that?
Ethan says that this person made the letter available to whoever took it to the
papers, so he won't let them get away with it either.
Ethan finishes packing his things, and Theresa once again offers to let Ethan stay at
her house. Ethan says that he appreciates it, but he doesn't
want to put Pilar in trouble. Chad and Whitney offer to let Ethan crash at their
place, but Ethan says he must find a place on his own.
Ethan says that the more that he think about it, the more he thinks he should just
leave Harmony. Chad and Whitney decide to leave and
let Ethan and Theresa talk this news flash over. Theresa tells Ethan that he can't
leave Harmony, but Ethan says he doesn't belong here because the Crane's
own this town, and he's no longer a Crane. Theresa tells Ethan that if he goes, she
fears that she'll lose him forever.
On the way out, Whitney and Chad talk about why Chad didn't tell Ethan the truth.
Chad says he finally realized that this could
tear Ethan and Theresa apart, besides Ethan only asked him who sent the letter, not
who had it.
Chad knows Theresa wouldn't intentionally hurt Ethan, but he still feels bad that he
didn't tell Ethan the truth. He also fears that Ethan
won't want him as a friend once the truth comes out, which it is bound to do.
At the Bennett's, Miguel rushes up to Charity's room, but Kay begs him to stop
because there hell's fire and demons
are inside Charity's closet. Jessica asks Kay what gives, and Simone adds that Kay
denied knowing anything at first.
Kay warns Miguel that if he opens that closet the demons will get him too. Miguel
says that if she is in there, he has to try
and save her. Miguel opens the closet, but it is empty! Kay swears that Charity and
the souls of the damned
were in there, but nobody believes her. Reese tells Sweetness, aka Kay, that he knows
many weird things have been going on, but he wonders if
she is just upset over the fact that Charity disappeared when she was supposed to be
watching her. Kay reminds Reese that he brought an evil-busting machine
over to her house not so long ago. Reese tells Kay that she is the only one who
thinks demons and hellfire exist in Charity's closet,
but Kay says that Charity saw them too. Kay says that this is not about her guilty
conscious, she knows what she saw. Miguel tells Reese to stop
trying to explain what Kay saw and just listen to her, because nothing that is going
on here today makes sense.
Jessica agrees with Reese, this is just too much. Kay swears she is telling the
truth, and Miguel believes her.
Reese tells Miguel that he is just so upset over Charity's disappearance that he is
willing to believe what Kay is saying. Reese
says that in order for what Kay is saying to be true, there must be something totally
evil and powerful behind this.
Kay says there is something totally evil behind all of this, and it is that evil that
has Charity.
Kay tells them all that if they don't do something now then the forces of darkness
will win and will keep Charity forever! Miguel says that is exactly
what Charity said, but he wonders why she didn't say anything earlier if she knew.
Kay tells Miguel that she was afraid he would hate her. Miguel asks her why he'd hate
her?
Father Lonigan shows up, and Kay tells him that nobody will believe her. Father tells
them to believe Kay.
Miguel says that he does, but where is this evil? Kay sees Hecuba outside and tells
them that evil is right outside
the window! However, no one else can see Hecuba but Kay. Hecuba taunts Kay and tells
her that everyone will think she is a lunatic,
and perhaps they'll commit her to a loony bin. Kay talks with Hecuba and tells her
that she doesn't believe she'd ever give
"it" back because she is evil and she won't listen to her anymore. As Kay tells
Hecuba to shut up and stop it, Reese fears that his girlfriend
is on the fast-track to crazytown and he'll die a bachelor and a virgin! Jessica
begins to freak out and thinks she must come from a family
of unstable women. As Kay argues with Hecuba, Miguel asks Father Lonigan where
Charity is, he must find her. Father Lonigan says it won't be easy,
but his love can bring her back. Miguel asks Father Lonigan "back from where?"
Meanwhile, Simone asks Kay if this is another scheme to get Miguel? Kay says it isn't
a scheme, but Simone thinks that this is just another one of
her lies. Simone demands Kay tell everyone that she made this up or she will end up
in the loony bin just like Charity did. Kay swears she is telling
the truth. Everyone suggests Kay go downstairs and rest, but Kay refuses. Kay tells
Miguel that he is the only one who can save Charity.
Miguel calls out to Charity and the closet and begs her to help him and tell
him where she is. Charity begins yelling to Miguel once again, and Miguel realizes
that Kay has been
right all along.
Outside, Timmy gets a call from Harper Collins. Timmy tells Tabitha that Hidden
Passions is a best seller,
and Harper Collins wants her to do appearances around the country. Tabitha doesn't
want to be famous because the people in Harmony
will be furious once they read her book if that spell at the end of the book fails to
work.
Timmy continues to take notes on everything that is going on for his sequel. Tabitha
says that she is just glad that
Hecuba is getting as screwed over as she did when she tried to kill Charity all
those times and failed, because now she won't
be so smug.
Friday
February 23
At the cottage, Luis makes sure there is no way he and Sheridan can possibly
be interrupted tonight. Later, Luis and Sheridan make love.
At the mansion, Theresa tells Ethan that if he leaves Harmomy, she fears she will
lose
him forever. Ethan agrees not to move away, and tells her to have more faith in their
relationship.
Ethan says that he's realized that she loves him no matter what his last name is, and
he knows he can trust
her. Ethan says she is the only person he knows who has always been honest with him,
and he loves her for that.
Later, Ethan goes into Julian's study and remembers when he and Sheridan got caught
starting a fire outside
and Julian and AListair were furious with them. Before they leave, Ethan crosses his
name out of the family
Bible. Chad urges Theresa to tell Ethan the truth, but she is afraid. However,
Theresa finally comes forward
and tells Ethan that this is all her fault. Theresa tells Ethan that she is the one
who opened the box and let the
secrets out, this is all her fault.
At the hospital, Grace isn't speaking to Sam, who feels guilty about what happened.
Eve tries to reassure him that this isn't his fault. Sam blames Ivy and anyone else
who knew
Ethan was his son and didn't tell him. Meanwhile, Ivy shows up to see Sam, and Pilar
is furious. Ivy tells Pilar that she knows now Sam
loves Grace with all his heart, she just doesn't want Sam to hate or blame her for
what has happened.
Pilar tells Ivy that this is not about her, and perhaps she is more like Julian and
Alistair than
she thinks. Pilar then calls Ivy a self absorbed, unfeeling woman! Pilar lays down
the law, and warns Ivy to
just leave Sam alone. Sam goes to see Grace and swears to spend the rest of his life
making this up to her, but Grace says
it doesn't matter. Sam tries to explain himself, but she tells him not to make
excuses because the real reason
he kept it a secret is because he didn't trust that their marriage couldn't survive.
Grace tells Sam that she doesn't know what to believe anymore, their marriage has
been based on a lie.
Grace is furious with Sam for lying to her, and tells him that she may never believe
anything he says. Sam asks Grace to
forgive him. Grace says even if she could forgive, she can never forget. A monitor
beeps, and Eve ends up
kicking Sam out of the room. Eve tells Grace that she needs to stay calm. Grace says
she'll never be calm again
after what Ivy has done to her, and she damns her to hell. Later, Ivy shows up to see
Sam, only to end up face to face
with an angry Grace. Ivy tells Grace that she is sorry. Grace says being sorry won't
bring back her unborn
child. The rage inside of Grace begins to boil, and as she gives Ivy a tongue
lashing, the room
begins to rock! Grace calls Ivy a spoiled, selfish, manipulative bitch! Grace then
puts a curse on Ivy! She curses
Ivy to experience the pain she has felt tonight, only for it to last her entire life!
Outside the Bennett's, Tabitha gets a kick out of watching Hecuba fail at trying to
rid the world of Charity.
Hecuba wonders what will happen to her if she fails, and she refuses to go back down
to that cave for
another three hundred years. Tabitha and Timmy return to Tabitha's house, and Tabitha
tells Timmy about the powers
the Standish women have. She reveals that Grace's power is cursing people. Suddenly,
Tabitha and Timmy feel the power
of Grace's curse.
At the Bennett's, Miguel bangs on the closet wall to try and reach Charity. Miguel
wants to break
through the wall, but Kay says the only way to save Charity is to walk into hell.
Miguel refuses to believe Kay is in hell, but Father Lonigan tells Miguel that she is
because she is a threat
to the forces of sin. Jessica knows Kay knew about this all along, and asks why she
didn't
tell them earlier? Kay says she was afraid, and Father Lonigan defends Kay. Miguel
asks Father Lonigan what
they can do now? Father Lonigan asks Reese to look up some ancient documents to help
with the battle Miguel is about to
face. Meanwhile, Simone asks Kay for the truth, what did she do to bring evil into
this house?
Kay tells Simone that she made a deal with someone. Simone thinks she made a deal
with the devil,
and asked her if she didn't learn anything from Sunday school? Suddenly, Hecuba zaps
Kay and turns her
into a monster! Monster Kay begins to torment Simone about Chad and Whitney, and
she'll see how far
one goes to get the person one loves. Kay collapses, and turns back to normal.
Back in Charity's room, Father Lonigan commands the doorway to hell to open, but
Hecuba commands the souls
of the damned to keep it shut. Father Lonigan realizes someone is keeping them from
Charity, so he prays
to God for help. God opens the portal in Kay's closet, and everyone sees Charity in
hell!
Miguel attempts to rush in to save Charity, but the others hold him back.
