February 2001 Week 2

Monday

February 12
Short summary due to Monday's being my long day of classes

At the mansion, Sheridan begins to worry about her and Luis. She recalls how Alistair and Ivy's father plotted to keep her and Sam apart, and she fears the same could happen to her and Luis. Later she talks to Gwen about her fears, and Gwen agrees with Alistair, nothing good can come from dating someone from another class.

Upstairs, Ivy and Pilar get into a heated argument over whether Ivy should go to see Sam. Pilar tells her that it will only make things worse, and Ivy agrees to stay home instead of going to the hospital. Ivy asks Pilar to get her a sleeping pill, and she takes it after Pilar brings one to her. After Pilar leaves, Ivy spits the pill out and tells Pilar that she's sorry, but she has to go see Sam.

Downstairs, Ethan feels like his life is over, and he tells Theresa that he wishes he was never born. Theresa tells Ethan not to say that, and that she loves him no matter who he is, and they'll always have each other. Ethan tells Theresa that he's beginning to think differently about them. Theresa asks him what he means? She swears her undying love to him and says she doesn't care what his last name is. Ethan tells Theresa that he just needs to go upstairs and clear his head. Rebecca, who overheard everything, thinks Ethan and Theresa are nearly over. She goes to Gwen to tell her now is the time to make her move. Earlier Gwen realized that Theresa wasn't a gold digger because she was still with Ethan, but Rebecca says it doesn't matter because once Ethan learns Theresa lied to him, he'll dump her anyways! Rebecca whispers something in Gwen's ear, and Gwen goes to Theresa and tells her that she's lost Ethan. Theresa asks Gwen what she's talking about? Gwen says she knows Ethan better than anyone, and she knows exactly what Theresa is thinking at this moment, and she is right, she has lost Ethan for good! Up in Ethan's room, Ethan throws another temper tantrum and begins trashing his room.

At the Bennett's, Father Lonigan believes the only way to get to the truth is through an exorcism, so he begins sprinkling holy water around the room and says that this will find evil. When the water hits Kay, she is burned, and says she is evil! Kay runs out of the room, and Simone follows. Simone asks her what she meant when she said she was evil, and then she notices the burns on Kay's arm. Kay says she didn't mean anything. Meanwhile, Luis thinks Father Lonigan's attempts are pointless, so he decides to go to the mansion and fill Sam in on what is happening. Miguel, Jessica, and Simone decide to leave and search for Charity, leaving Kay alone with Father Lonigan. Father Lonigan begins ordering Evil to come forward and face him, a servant of God. Suddenly, Kay, who is in the hall, is bathed in a golden light! A wind begins to blow through the house, and it forces Kay back into Charity's room! Father Lonigan knows Evil is near him, and he orders the soulless being to identify themselves!

At Tabitha's place, after a violent earthquake shakes the house, it begins to rain holy water! Tabitha and Hecuba both scream in pain and the water hits them and melts their skin. Timmy brings Tabitha a blanket to protect her, and Tabitha asks Timmy to fetch some herbs from her cabinet to heal her wounds. She even tells Timmy to give some to Hecuba, hoping that Hecuba will be nicer to them. Timmy helps heal both Hecuba and Tabitha, and makes them both MarTimmy's. However, Hecuba tells Timmy and Tabitha just because they gave her some herbs and some love juice, which is the most delicious thing she's ever drank, she isn't about to spare their miserable lives. After she is well, Hecuba tells Timmy and Tabitha to prepare to be sent to hell!

Luis returns to the mansion and meets up with Pilar. The two talk about Charity for a bit, and Pilar decides to leave to find Miguel because she thinks he might need him. Later, Luis runs into an emotional Sheridan, who begs Luis to promise her that nothing will come between them.

At the hospital, Grace is furious with Sam for lying to her about Ivy. As she becomes upset, the monitors she is hooked up to begin to beep. Eve gives Grace a sedative and manages to save her and the baby. As Eve prays for Grace and her baby, Sam and TC have a talk about Ivy, who has shown up. TC tells Sam that he saw how concerned he was about Ivy back at the mansion, but Sam swears it was just professional concern for a woman whose husband was out of control. TC asks Sam to be honest with him, does he still love Ivy? Sam says he has zero feelings for Ivy, but takes that back and says he hates Ivy for what she's done to Grace and his child. An upset Ivy knocks over a tray, and Sam sees her standing their and glares at her.

February 13
This hasn't been proofed yet, I have to run some errands! I hope everything makes sense!
At the mansion, Sheridan cries in Luis' arms. He asks her what is wrong? Sheridan tells Luis that she fears that Julian and her father will try and break them up like Alistair and Ivy's father broke up Sam and Ivy. Luis tells Sheridan that they can't do anything to them, but Sheridan says that her father hates him and will do anything to keep them apart. Luis doesn't care what Alistair thinks, and he says he will fight him every step of the way. Luis says that if Sam and Ivy had true love, nothing could have pulled them apart. Luis says that everything that happened here tonight was because of Ivu's terrible choices and lies. He swears to Sheridan that what happened to Sam and Ivy won't happen to them, and the only thing that could pull them apart is something that one of them did. Luis says he doesn't see himself doing anything to lose her, and Sheridan doesn't either. Later, Sheridan catches the help laughing over the tabloid and takes it away from them. Sheridan feels bad for poor Ethan, he wakes up a Crane and later finds out he is a nobody. Luis becomes angry because Sam is not a nobody, but Sheridan says she didn't mean it that way, and she begs him not to fight. Luis and Sheridan kiss, and Luis tells Sheridan that he loves her and no one will stop him from loving her. Sheridan tells Luis that she will never stop loving him either. Luis decides to head over to the hospital and check on Sam and Grace. Luis and Sheridan kiss a few more times before Luis leaves. After he leaves, Sheridan wishes she could be as sure as Luis that nothing will come between them.

Gwen tells Theresa that she has lost Ethan, and she will never get it back. Gwen knows Theresa knows this just by looking at her. Theresa tells Gwen that she hasn't lost Ethan, they have to much, and they love one another. Theresa says that Ethan gave her an engagement ring. Gwen says that Ethan gave her a ring once too, and said that nothing would ever come between them, but look what happened to them. Theresa says this isn't the same, she will talk to Ethan and they will straighten this out. Gwen says she talked to Ethan until she was blue in the face, but he still broke off their engagement. Gwen walks away, and thinks this may turn out better than her mother planned, Ethan may dump her without even knowing where the information came from.

Upstairs, Ethan looks at the tabloid and a picture of him and Julian. He throws the two across the room, and begins screaming and tearing up the place. After Ethan calms down, Theresa shows up to check on him. Ethan wipes his tears away and says he is fine. Theresa asks him if there is anything she can do for him? Ethan says he's been thinking about everything that happened, and him not knowing who he is. Theresa tells him that she knows who he is, he is the nicest and sweetest man she's ever known. Ethan says that is sweet, but his whole life has been a Crane, and now he questions who he is, what he likes, or who he loves. Theresa tells Ethan that he knows why he loves her, he does still love her doesn't he? Ethan says he doesn't know, he doesn't know if it is right for him to love someone when he doesn't know who he is. A spying Gwen says this is beautiful. Ethan tells Theresa that it isn't right for him to love anyone when he doesn't know who he is, he doesn't think he can promise to love and cherish her when he can't do the same for himself. Theresa refuses to let Ethan do this, but Ethan tells her not to make this any harder than it already is. Theresa tells Ethan that she loves him and it doesn't matter who he is to her. Ethan says it matter to him, and that is why he can't marry her.

At the hospital, Sam asks Ivy what in the hell she is doing here? Isn't it bad enough that she has put his wife in the hospital and his baby in jeopardy. Ivy says she never meant for that to happen, but Sam doesn't want to hear how sorry she is. Sam tells her that the sight of her makes him sick! Sam grabs Ivy and asks her if she hasn't caused enough pain as is? Ivy says that is why she came here, to apologize. Sam doesn't care and tells her that she is nothing but a liar who doesn't care about anyone but herself. However, before she leaves, Sam demands to know if Ethan is his son. Ivy tells Sam that he is his son. Sam asks her how she could have kept this from him? Ivy says she did it for Ethan, but Sam says what Ethan needed was his real parents. Sam wants to know what happened to her, what happened to the girl he loved? Ivy says that being ripped from the man she loved and living her life in a loveless marriage did this too her. Sam says he wouldn't know, because he is not a liar! Ivy "how dares" Sam and tells him that he has no right to judge her! Sam apologizes and says that she is right, he has no idea what his life is like, but he did get a glimpse of it tonight. Ivy tells Sam that he doesn't have any idea what her life has been like, the loneliness. Sam asks Ivy to forgive her, and he holds her. Meanwhile, TC brings Eve some coffee, and the two talk about what Ivy has done. As TC talks about what a terrible thing Ivy has done to Sam and Grace, Eve recalls what she has done to Sam and Grace because of Ivy's blackmail. Eve check on Grace, and decides to check on other patients once Grace is resting peacefully. TC and Eve leave, and Grace has a nightmare about Ivy laughing at her and telling her that she, Sam, and their son will always be together. When Grace wakes up, she says she has to go to Sam and stop Ivy from taking him from her. Grace gets out of bed, wrips out the wires attached to her, and walks out of her cubicle only to find Sam holding Ivy! Grace feels a sharp pain, and ends up passing out. Elsewhere, TC tells Eve that if Sam had told Grace about Ivy long ago, none of this would be happening. He says that secrets and lies are terrible, and they always come out.

At the Bennett's, Father Lonigan demands Kay identify herself and tell him what she's done with Charity! Kay remains silent, and Father Lonigan senses a deep sadness in this creature, and realizes that she has traded her soul for earthly gains. As Father Lonigan demands the soulless creature to identify herself, Jessica shows up outside and wonders what is going on in there. Father Lonigan tells Kay that if she identifies herself, and helps him find Charity, there is still hope for her. Jessica opens the door just as Father Lonigan is begging Kay to tell him who is in this room. Jessica tells the father that she can tell him exactly who is in here with him. Jessica saves her soulless sister, and tells him that the room is empty. Kay runs out, and Father Lonigan realizes that the creature is gone. Father Lonigan decides to go back to the church and pray. Father Lonigan grabs his holy water and prepares to leave. Jessica finds Kay downstairs, and she asks her if she has any idea what Father Lonigan is talking about? Kay says she doesn't have any idea. Jessica thinks this evil business is just too weird, but Kay doesn't and she thinks evil has something to do with this. Jessica decides to go back out and search for Charity some more, but Kay knows Charity isn't coming back, and that it is all her fault. As Kay lays down on the couch, dark shadows begin to rise up out of the floor behind her! Suddenly, the shadows yell at Kay to come with them because her time on earth is through, her work is done! Kay runs up to Charity's room and asks God to save her. Suddenly, the closet door flies open, and Kay sees Charity screaming for help! Charity tells Kay that this is her fault, and she has hurt her very badly! Charity warns Kay that if she doesn't change her ways, she will join her in hell, and she will burn for eternity! Kay refuses to be pulled into hell, but as she tries to run, she finds herself shut in Charity's room. Charity tells Kay that they are ready for her, they are ready for her to join them! Suddenly, a huge hand reaches out of the closet, grabs Kay, and pulls her into hell!

At Tabitha's, Hecuba tells Tabitha that it is time for her and Timmy to go straight to hell. She begins shooting lightening bolts at Tabitha and Timmy's feet and tells them to dance! Tabitha and Timmy hide behind the couch, and Hecuba's power begins to weaken. Hecuba thinks goodness must be here. Timmy thinks it is Charity, but Hecuba says it is someone else. Outside, Father Lonigan shows up! Tabitha sees him, and warns Hecuba that this is a very powerful priest. As the exorcist music plays, Father Lonigan senses evil in this house, perhaps the primary source of all the evil in Harmony! As Father Lonigan stands outside of Tabitha's house, we see a familiar shot of a priest standing in front of a darkly lit path! Father Lonigan says there is powerful evil in this house, and he prepares to throw holy water at it! Tabitha tells Hecuba to prepare for the end!

Wednesday

February 14
At Tabitha's, Father Lonigan says there is evil inside this house, and pulls out a vial of holy water to destroy the evil. As he throws it at the house, it once again begins to rain holy water inside! Tabitha, Timmy, and Hecuba run for cover, and Tabitha tells Hecuba that this is why it has been so hard for her to get rid of Charity! Tabitha says that every time she tried to do anything evilly delicious, Father Buttinsky got in the way! Suddenly, Father Lonigan realizes that something is going on this very minute in Charity's room, and he must go save her. The rain stops inside, and Timmy tells them it is safe to come out. Hecuba wonders if this is a trick, so Tabitha sends Timmy to the window to find out if that low-rent exorcist is still out there. Timmy says that he is gone, and Hecuba once again plans to kill Tabitha and Timmy. Hecuba says that it is the end of the road for them, but Timmy says this isn't the end, Hecuba can't do anything to him or Princess. Hecuba asks him what he is talking about, what is to stop her from destroying Tabitha? Timmy tells Tabitha that her powers can stop Hecuba. Tabitha tells Timmy that she doesn't have her powers, they were taken away when she could destroy Charity. Timmy reminds her that Hecuba destroyed Charity, so she should have her powers back. Tabitha realizes Timmy is right, if Charity is done for than she must be a fully equipped witch again! A floating HEcuba realizes she is in big trouble, and Timmy tells Tabitha to zap her! Timmy begins cheering Tabitha on, and Hecuba asks Tabitha if they can't talk this out and come to an acceptable arrangement. Tabitha says they could, but they won't! Tabitha tells Hecuba that she is tired of her ridiculing her for not being able to kill CHarity. Hecuba says she is sorry about that, and she realizes that she has been up against a lot. Tabitha thinks it is funny that she is realizing this after she has her gotten her powers back. Hecuba says "Better late than never!" Tabitha decides to do to Hecuba exactly what she was going to do to her, send her to hell! Tabitha casts a spell to send Hecuba to hell, but it doesn't work. HEcuba laughs and tells Tabitha that she doesn't have her powers back, so now she can get rid of her and doll baby. Tabitha tells Hecuba that if she doesn't have her powers back than Charity hasn't been destroyed! The friends in the basement begin to roar, and Tabitha says it seems that their friends aren't happy with her.

At the Bennett's, Kay attempts to escape Charity's room, but the windows and doors shut! Charity warns Kay that there is nothing she can do to help her, and that they are ready for her to join them! Suddenly, a hand reaches out from the closet, grabs Kay, and pulls her into hell with Charity! Charity tells Kay that she is sorry this happened, but it is her own fault for selling her soul to Hecuba and helping Hecuba damn her to hell. Charity tells Kay that she will burn in hell for all of eternity! Father Lonigan returns, and Kay calls out to him, pleading with him not to let her burn in hell. Father Lonigan asks Kay if that is her? Kay says it is, and that Charity's closet is a portal to hell! Father Lonigan tells Kay to hang on, he will save her. He begins throwing holy water into the closet, which not only burns the demons, but Kay as well. Charity tells Kay to fight the pain. Father Lonigan asks if that is Charity? Charity says it is, and that she is trapped in here as well. Father Lonigan continues his exorcism, and tries to grab onto Kay, but she is being pulled further back into hell by the demons. Father Lonigan continues to spread holy water, and commands both Kay and Charity to fight their way to him. The demons begin to retreat, and Father Lonigan continues to try and save Kay and Charity. Father Lonigan manages to save Kay, and then tries to save Charity. However, when he goes to save Charity, the closet closes, and the demons laugh. When Father Lonigan opens the closet door again, the portal has closed! Father Lonigan hugs Kay, and feels how cold she is. Father Lonigan realizes that Kay has lost her soul. He tells her to tell him what happened otherwise he'll never be able to help her get her soul back and save Charity. Kay tells Father Lonigan that she will tell him everything.

At the mansion, Theresa tells Ethan that she loves him no matter who he is because it doesn't matter to her. Ethan says it matters to him, and that he cannot marry her. Ethan says he doesn't know what he'd have to offer her, and he won't do that to her. Gwen is in ecstasy, and tells herself that she and mother don't even have to expose Theresa's knowledge that Ethan was Sam's son all along. Gwen thinks it is only a matter of time before she and Ethan are back together again. Back in the room, Ethan tells Theresa that this is not what he wants, but there is no way he can marry her. Theresa tells Ethan that she loves him, not his last name. Ethan says this is about who he is, and when he was Alistair's heir he always hoped on using the Crane fortune to make the world a better place. Ethan says that has been taken from him, and he doesn't know who he is anymore. Theresa tells him that he is Chief Bennett's son. Ethan wonders what that means, his real father is someone he doesn't respect. Ethan doesn't consider himself a Bennett or a Crane, and until he finds out who he is inside, he can't marry him. A spying Gwen plans to help Ethan find himself, and his way to the alter with her! Gwen says now Theresa, the back-stabbing bitch, knows what it feels like! Theresa tells Ethan that she won't argue with him because he's been hurt enough tonight. Theresa tells him that if he doesn't want to marry him, then there is only one thing she can do. Theresa takes off her engagement ring and returns it to Ethan. Ethan tells Theresa that he doesn't want her ring back, but Theresa says it would only remind her of what they had and what she has lost. Ethan tells Theresa that she's misunderstood, he doesn't want their relationship to end, he just needs time to think about this, regroup, and then they can get married. Theresa hugs Ethan and tells him that she loves him so much. Ethan says he loves her too, and nothing could ever change that. A furious Gwen says that is what he thinks! Gwen decides to go ahead with her and Rebecca's original plan to expose Theresa for what she knew. Meanwhile, Theresa tells Ethan that if he wants a new identity, she can give him one. Theresa tells Ethan that he can be her husband. Ethan says he wishes it was that easy, but being a Crane has been his whole life. Ethan says once he finds himself, they can get married. Theresa tells Ethan that she doesn't care who he is, she loves him for who he is on the inside. Theresa tells Ethan that they should elope, and on their honeymoon they can find out who he really is. Ethan says he loves her and he does want to marry her, but first he must find out who he is so he can afford to give her all she deserves. Theresa tells Ethan that she doesn't care about money or things, she just wants him. Ethan tells Theresa that now he knows he was right to choose her over Gwen, he just wishes he knew who sold him out to this rag. Ethan swears that he will find out who did this to him and he will make them pay!

At the hospital, Grace finds Sam holding Ivy, and is struck with a pain. Grace collapses, and Sam runs to her. Eve shows up and asks a nurse to get her a prenatal specialist. TC asks Sam what in the hell he was doing? Sam says he was just comforting Ivy, and he asks Eve if the baby will be all right? Eve says they need to get her back to the cubicle so she can get Grace stabilized, and that she'll do everything she can. Grace is taken back to the table, and Sam tells her that she'll be all right. Grace moans about her baby, and Eve kicks Sam out. Ivy tells Sam that she is sorry. Sam tells Ivy that he will hold her responsible for anything that happens to Grace or his child. TC tells Sam not to waste his time with this, Grace and his baby are what matter. Sam asks TC to check up on Grace while he finishes with Ivy. TC leaves, and Ivy tells Sam that she didn't mean for Grace to see them together, she just wanted to explain to him what it was like for her. Sam tells her to just go home, but Ivy says Julian and Ethan both hate her. Sam doesn't blame them. Ivy begs Sam not to turn his back on her too because she needs help. Sam asks her if she ever thinks of what anyone other than herself wants or needs? Ivy says she never meant to hurt anyone, but Sam says that doesn't matter because people's lives have been ruined! Sam tells her to get the hell out of here and never come near his family again. Ivy asks what about Ethan, he is his family, or doesn't he want to see him? Sam says that it doesn't matter if Ethan is his son or not, he has to put Grace and the baby before Ethan. Ivy can't believe he would forsake his own son. Sam says that Ethan may be his son biologically, but he was raised by Julian and Alistair, which makes him a Crane. Ivy tells Sam if he would just make an effort, but Sam says if is too late because Ethan only thinks of him as the incompetent police chief. Sam tells Ivy that if she had been honest with him years ago then maybe he and Ethan could have had a relationship. Sam says that something Julian said tonight rang true, as much as she talks about how she was the victim in all of this, the truth is that Julian, Ethan, and he were the victims. Sam tells Ivy that Ethan will never think of him as his father, just as he will never think of Ethan as his son. Sam says that if he had known Ethan was his son, he would have moved heaven and earth to get to him and to her. Ivy says she was under such pressure from her father to be a dutiful wife, but Sam says the only reason she lied was to get revenge, to raise an heir to the Crane Empire who didn't have a drop of Crane blood in his veins. Sam knows that Ivy spent years plotting for that perfect moment to get back at the Cranes, but it backfired. Sam tells her that she has been stupid, selfish, and sad, because they could have been a family. Sam tells Ivy that she and Ethan mean nothing to him now, Grace and their children are his family. Ivy begs Sam to try and spend some time with Ethan and find a common ground, such as baseball. Still, Sam can't overlook how Ethan went against him. Ivy begs Sam not to deny Ethan his father because his mother made a mistake. Meanwhile, Eve stabilizes Grace, and Eve tells Grace to fight for herself and the baby. Eve leaves to see Sam, who runs away from Ivy to find out if Grace is okay. Eve shakes her head, and Sam begins to cry.

Short summary today, have a major migraine :(
At the mansion, Ethan tells Theresa that he will find out who sent the information to the tabloids, and he will destroy them. Theresa wants to help Ethan, and she thinks she knows a way to do just that.

Meanwhile, Rebecca returns to the mansion to see Julian, and informs him that she has just filed for divorce from her husband. Julian says she works fast, and that Ivy is still his wife. Rebecca tells him that he can get a quickie divorce, nobody will blame him. Julian begins to think about Ivy's life with the townies, and fantasizes about her moving in with Sam and being forced to work in Grace's shop. Julian eventually falls asleep with his face in Rebecca's lap, and Rebecca says that very soon she will be Mrs. Julian Crane.

At the hospital, Eve tells Sam that Grace lost the baby, and she is barely hanging on. Sam goes to Grace, and when she learns she has lost the baby, Grace announces that she wants to die too. Grace begins to slip away, and Eve kicks Sam out so she can work on Grace. Meanwhile, Pilar has shown up, and she is furious with Ivy for coming to the hospital. Sam returns and announces that Grace lost the baby, and that Grace isn't doing well. Ivy tells Sam that she's sorry, but he doesn't want to hear it and tells her that he blames her for this. Ivy tells Sam that he still has Ethan, but Sam says he doesn't want Ethan at the cost of his son and wife! Ethan shows up at that very moment with Theresa, and he tells Sam that he doesn't want to be his son anymore than Sam wants him. Sam tells Ethan that he can't deal with him right now, and leaves. Theresa goes to her mother and talks with her while Ethan chats with Ivy. Ethan tells his mother that he doesn't hate her, but he doesn't know if he can ever love her again. He accuses her of keeping his paternity a secret in order to spite the Cranes, but her plan backfired. Ivy swears she only wanted the best for him, and that is why she kept the truth about him a secret. Ethan asks his mother who could have sent the letter to the tabloids before she destroyed it. Ivy doesn't know, and she says before she destroyed it she had Pilar keep it safe at her house. Ethan looks at Pilar and Theresa, which causes Theresa to freak out. Suddenly, Eve screams out Grace's name. Sam runs to Grace and asks Eve what is wrong? Eve tells Sam that Grace has simply given up on living.

At Tabitha's, the friends in the basement are not pleased that Hecuba has also failed to destroy Charity. Tabitha proposed she and Hecuba work together, but Hecuba is determined to prove that she is the wickedest witch of all by killing Charity on her own. Hecuba decides to return to the Bennett's to see what is up.

At the Bennett's, Kay confesses all to Father Lonigan. She tells him about her love for Miguel, selling her soul to a witch in order to get Miguel, and helping the witch get rid of Charity. Father Lonigan says this sounds like a witch who resided in these parts 300 years ago named Hecuba. Kay says that is the witch she sold her soul to! Father Lonigan tells Kay there may be a way for him to help her, but it will require her telling Miguel the truth, helping save Charity, and bringing him the vial which contains her soul. As Kay is about to leave to tell Miguel and the other's what she's done, Hecuba appears and seals the doors shut! Hecuba is furious with Kay, and has come to finish Charity off once and for all. Father Lonigan reaches for his holy water, but Hecuba zaps it from his hands and tells Kay that the only way she will get her soul back is to do exactly what she tells her to.

Downstairs, the kids have returned from looking for Charity. As they are about to head upstairs to see what Kay and Father Lonigan are talking about, Miguel hears Charity cry for help from the computer. The other kids don't hear her, and they think Miguel is just hallucinating. Miguel knows what he heard and calls out to CHarity to tell him where she is.

Friday

February 16
At the Bennett's, Miguel and Simone both hear Charity's voice crying out from the computer, but Reese says that wishful thinking is making them hear things. An email shows up on the computer, but it isn't from Charity. Miguel continues to try and call to Charity and he begs her to tell them where she is. Suddenly, the computer begins to shake! Jessica says this is just like Poltergeist! Suddenly, Charity screams out to Miguel to save her because they won't let her go! Miguel asks Charity who has her? Charity says the souls of the damned have her, and they won't let her go. She tells Miguel that only he can save her. Suddenly, Charity says it is too late, she is doomed for all eternity, and then her voice fades away. Miguel begins to wonder if it is possible that Charity really saw demons in her closet? Reese says it would explain why his evil busting machine went berserk. Miguel and Reese decide to go up to Charity's room.

Up in CHarity's room, Father Lonigan tells Kay to run and get Miguel. Hecuba warns Kay that if she helps save Charity, then she will destroy her soul and heaven's little helper can't save her. Kay think that she has no choice, but Father Lonigan says he still has the power to fight evil, with or without holy water. Father Lonigan produces a cross and commands Hecuba to go back to hell. Hecuba tells Father Lonigan if he banishes her to hell, she will take Kay's soul with her! Kay begs Father Lonigan to stop, so he does. However, he tells Kay that it is up to her to save Charity now. Kay says she can't do that. Hecuba tells Kay that she will give her soul back once Charity is dead, but Father Lonigan tells Kay that Hecuba will never give her her soul back, and the only way to save her soul is to help Miguel save Charity. Charity screams that she can't fight the evil much longer! Father Lonigan begs Kay to save Charity because she won't last much longer. Hecuba tells Kay not to break their deal. Kay says she already fulfilled their deal, so she should be given her soul back. Father Lonigan tells Kay that evil will never give her her soul back. Hecuba and Father Lonigan continue to argue over Kay, and what she should do. Hecuba eventually tells Kay that she can try and save Charity if she wants to, and that she should just march downstairs and get Miguel, but she won't get her soul back or get Miguel. Father Lonigan tells Kay not to listen to her. Hecuba tells Kay that CHarity is almost gone, so it is pointless to risk losing her soul for Charity. Kay eventually agrees to stick to her bargain with Hecuba. Father Lonigan begs Kay not to do this, but Kay says she has no choice. Kay asks her if she can have her soul back now? HEcuba says she has to get the spell right first. Kay tells Father Lonigan that she must trust Hecuba because she can't live without her soul. Suddenly, a flame bursts comes from hell, and Hecuba says that Charity is gone, evil has beaten goodness and she is the new queen of mean! Hecuba dances in front of the flames of hell to "Disco Inferno." Kay realizes that Father Lonigan was right, Charity is almost dead and she still doesn't have her soul. Father Lonigan says it may not be too late, and that he will tell Miguel what is happening. Kay, however, forbids Father Lonigan to tell Miguel anything because she only told him as a confession. Kay says she is going to stick with Hecuba, because nothing she will say or do will bring Charity back now.

Kay and Father Lonigan head downstairs, and run into Miguel and Reese. Miguel asks Father Lonigan to come back upstairs because he feels that Charity is trapped in her closet. Kay says that she was just up in CHarity's room and nothing strange is going on. The computer begins to shake again, and Miguel asks Charity to tell him where she is! Charity's voice tells Miguel to ask Kay!

At the hospital, Pilar, Theresa, Ethan, and Ivy stand around talking about poor Grace. Eve comes over to them, and Ethan asks how Mrs. Bennett is? Eve says that Grace has given up, and her vital signs are getting weaker and weaker. Eve says that Grace is dying of a broken heart, and she tells Ivy that it is her secret that is causing all this pain. Ivy says she couldn't tell the truth, she couldn't do that to Ethan. Ethan tells his mother that what she did is much worse, he isn't a Bennett or a Crane, he is no one! Ivy says that he is still his son. Ethan excuses himself to make a phone call, and Pilar tells Theresa to tell Ethan the truth about what she knew before he finds out from someone else and thinks that she betrayed him too. Theresa says she can't tell Ethan because he will hate her for keeping the truth from him when she only wanted to protect him. Pilar says Ethan may believe her if she tells him, but if someone else tells him, she could lose the man she loves. Ethan returns after his phone call, see below, and asks Theresa to go back to the mansion with him. Theresa takes Ethan aside and begins to explain to Ethan that she knew the truth about him. She tells him that sometimes people do things to protect the ones they love . . . Ethan interrupts and thinks that Theresa wants him to forgive his mother, but he says he doesn't know if he can ever forgive such total and complete betrayal. Ethan says right now he just needs to find out who knew about the letter, why they didn't tell him, and who made this public. Ethan talks with Pilar about her keeping the documents at her house, and he asks Pilar why she didn't tell him the truth? Pilar says she couldn't betray his mother, all she could do was love him as his own. Ethan asks Pilar if anyone else knew the documents were at her house, because that must be the person who exposed the story. Pilar says someone could have found the letter, but to her knowledge only a family member could have found the letter. Ethan turns to Theresa, who thinks she has been caught, but Ethan thinks Luis or Miguel must have found the letter. Theresa says it couldn't have been them, so Ethan asks who it could have been? Ethan sees the look in her eyes and apologizes for grilling her because he knows she would have told him if she had found the letter. Ethan says whoever sent this letter to the tabloids is his sworn enemy. Meanwhile, Eve catches Ivy trying to go into Grace's cubicle to talk to Sam, and she stops her. When Ivy says she needs to talk to Sam, Eve says "I'll see you in hell first!" Eve refuses to let Ivy distract Sam. Ivy says she just wanted Sam to know how sorry she was, but Eve is right, Grace has been hurt enough. Ivy wonders how the tabloids knew the truth when Pilar and her were the only ones other than herself who knew the truth. Ivy says she knows Pilar would never betray her, and then accuses Eve of doing this to her. Eve says she couldn't have sent the letter when she didn't know it existed. Ivy thinks Eve told someone. Eve tells Ivy that she is insane! Eve says she did tell someone, she passed around a note telling a lot of people the truth because she couldn't wait for Ivy to tell TC about the blackmail she had on her. Ivy realizes Eve didn't tell anyone, so it has to be someone they'd never suspect, someone right under their very noses. Ivy returns to Ethan and the others, and she suggests that Ethan take Theresa home and head home himself. Ethan says he doesn't have a home, he has nothing! Theresa tells Ethan that he has her. Ethan hugs Theresa and says that she is the only one he can trust, she is the only one who would never betray him. Ivy tells Ethan that he is wrong, he was raised a Crane and nothing will change that, Julian doesn't want him to leave. Ethan says it is not Julian's decision to make. Ethan says he cannot go on being a Crane, and he has to go make the most painful choice he's ever made. Theresa says she will help him through whatever this choice is. Ethan and Theresa leave, and Ivy swears to destroy who has done this to Ethan. Suddenly, Grace flatlines!

At the Russell's, as Whitney climbs into bed, there is a knock on her door. Whitney answers her door, and finds Chad standing there. Chad says he heard her rustling around and figured that she couldn't sleep either. Chad and Whitney discuss Theresa's part in the Ethan situation. Whitney says that Theresa isn't the only one keeping secrets from a man, and that she wants to be completely honest with him about her feelings. Whitney tells Chad that all they are is friends. Chad asks if they aren't on their way to being more? Whitney tells him no. Chad asks her what is going on, is she still scared because of this Ethan and Theresa thing? Whitney says she isn't scared, she is just angry because she began believing in Theresa's "love conquers all dream." Whitney says she knows now that she can't rely on a guy to give her what she wants, she has to become a champion on her own and not let any guy get in her way. Ethan suddenly calls and asks Whitney if he can speak to Chad. Ethan needs Chad's help in finding out who knew about the letter saying he wasn't a Crane. Ethan says someone other than Ivy and Pilar had to know about the letter, because they didn't send it to the tabloids. Chad says he'll help Ethan out, and he'll meet him at the house. Chad tells Whitney what is up, and Whitney wants to know if Chad is going to rat out Theresa. Chad tells Whitney that her problem is that she doesn't believe in the power of love. Whitney thanks Reverend Chad, but he tells her that she doesn't understand love. Chad thinks this whole thing will bring Ethan and Theresa closer, and he must tell Theresa because Ethan will think Chad betrayed him as well. Chad says that if Ethan asks him point blank who else knew, he is going to have to tell him the truth. Whitney tells Chad that he can't tell Ethan, she told him the secret in confidence. Chad says secrets aren't exactly good things, and that he's not trying to hurt Theresa. Chad refuses to lie to Ethan because he knows what he is going through, he won't hurt Ethan more than he's already been hurt. Whitney asks Chad if he'll be able to live with the fact that he may be responsible for Ethan dumping Theresa. Chad doesn't think this will break them up, but if it does, perhaps their love was never meant to be. However, Chad says that he will explain to Ethan that Theresa only kept the truth from him to protect him. Chad is positive that things will work out, because the real story of Cinderella is not giving up on love. Whitney thinks Chad needs a reality check, but Chad promises to put a glass slipper on her foot one of these days. Chad leaves, and Whitney chases after him.
