February 14
This was typed hours after seeing the show, so it is shorter than usual
At the Book Cafe, the kids show up after seeing the Sixth Sense, which has caused Charity to become even more frightened. Miguel feels bad about the movie choice, but he didn't know the storyline and it was Kay who chose the movie. As TC is about to open the red envelope, Charity screams "No!" Eve comes running, and Charity says she had a premonition that many hearts were about to be broken. Tabitha decides to sneak out while she can, but Miguel stops her because he thinks she can help comfort Charity. The kids eventually decide to go ice skating, and Eve and TC return to their night of romance. Tabitha remains at her table and waits for TC to open the red envelope once again.

At the pond, Luis sees that Sheridan is about to skate on the section of the pond where there is thin ice, the sign is down, so he rushes towards her to save her. Her grabs her, and they fall into a snow bank. Theresa and Whitney see them, and think Luis has fallen for Sheridan. Ethan and Gwen think the same thing when they see them together. However, Hank and Beth are not pleased. Hank coldly whisks Sheridan away from Luis, but Luis and Sheridan continue to stare at one another. Theresa confronts her brother about his feelings for Sheridan, but he denies them. Later, Ethan talks to Sheridan about her feelings for Luis, but she says that pursuing a relationship with Luis wouldn't work out.

As it nears midnight, Gwen grows anxious for her ring and proposal. Ethan, however, is beginning to wonder if he should propose at all without the ring. Midnight comes, and Gwen decides to surprise Ethan. Gwen proposes to him, and he accepts. They seal their engagement with a kiss, which a tearful Theresa sees. Elsewhere, Luis and Beth watch Sheridan and Hank as Hank prepares to give Sheridan a kiss.

At the lodge, Sam gets out of his bed and asks a naked Ivy what she is up to? Ivy wants him to make love to her, and she puts her arms around him. She ends up scratching his back with her nails. Grace wakes up and sees Sam with Ivy, but thinks it is the champagne. Sam carries Ivy back into her room and tries to convince her that he has no interest in her anymore, and that he loves Grace now. Ivy, however, won't take no for an answer. She rips off Sam's pajama bottoms and tells him to make love to her. Meanwhile, Grace gets out of bed after seeing Sam carry Ivy off, and she wonders why she is so weak.

At the lodge, Ivy rips off Sam's pajama bottoms. Sam asks Ivy what in the hell she is trying to do? Ivy tells him that she's trying to show him that they are meant for one another, but Sam says that he doesn't love her, he loves his wife. Ivy tells Sam not to say that, but Sam says that his marriage is the most important thing in the world to him. He says that what they had is dead, and they are both married to other people. Sam asks Ivy if he's trying to destroy his marriage and make him unhappy? Ivy says she wants him to be happy, and she can make her happier then Grace. Meanwhile, Grace walks through her room wondering why she is so weak, and if Sam was really carrying a naked woman. She ends up sitting down after almost collapsing. Grace gathers her strength, and walks to the door of the adjoining room. She calls out Sam's name, and tries to open the door. Back in the other room, Sam and Ivy hear Grace and see she is trying to open the door. Grace says she's coming in, so Sam grabs the doorknob so she can't open it. Grace begins to cry, and Ivy tells Sam if Grace really loves him then she'd want them to be together. Sam pushes Ivy away from him and tells her that she's crazy. Grace starts banging on the door and crying "I know your in there!" Ivy tells Sam to let Grace in because she knows she's here. Sam tells Ivy to think about her children and what would happen if Julian learned about this. Ivy begins to realize that she can't let Ethan be hurt. Back in Sam and Grace's room, Grace returns to the bed and is in tears. Ivy asks Sam if he is going to tell Grace about this, and he says that there is no way he can keep this from her. Ivy tells Sam to wait, and says that Grace is no longer crying, so she's probably gone back to bed. Ivy admits to Sam that he drugged Grace, which angers Sam. Ivy tells him that she just needed to be with him again. Sam says that Grace didn't do anything to anyone and didn't deserve this. Sam still wants to tell Grace the truth, but Ivy begs him not to. She asks him what if Grace doesn't forgive him for not telling her about them sooner? Sam just hopes his marriage is strong enough to last. Ivy then pulls out her trump card, she says that he will probably be fired if the truth comes out, does he want his children to suffer for this? Sam asks Ivy why she has had a sudden change of heart? A few minutes ago she wanted Grace to see them together? Ivy says she is only thinking of Ethan. Sam wonders why Ethan is so much more important than her other children. Ivy tells him that she has her reasons. Sam warns Ivy not to come near him or Grace again, and he returns to his room. Grace is in bed asleep, and Sam climbs in with her. Grace tells Sam that he saw her with a naked woman, but he tells her it was a dream. Meanwhile, Ivy vows to have Sam somehow.

At the pond, Hank and Sheridan exchange a hug, but Hank wants a Valentines Day kiss. Beth and Luis are watching them, and Beth says if Sheridan kisses Hank then they'll know how she feels about him. However, they never get a chance to kiss. Simone scolds Kay for letting Charity skate on the thin ice, but Kay says that she's not Charity's watchdog! Charity skates onto the thin ice, which cracks! Charity ends up falling through the ice! Everyone hears the ice begin to crack, and Charity scream out. Miguel and Luis go to help Charity, and Simone tells Kay that this is all her fault. Kay says that this is not her fault and thinks Charity deliberately fell in the ice to get Miguel. Simone asks Kay what she will do if Charity dies? Near the thin ice, Luis holds Miguel back because he doesn't want anyone walking on the ice because it might further crack. Hank goes to find a ladder, and Luis asks Beth to get a flashlight and a rope. Miguel asks Kay how this happened, but she claims she doesn't know. Charity ends going under and is lost. Hank returns with the ladder, but Luis says the ice is too thin to lay the ladder out. Kay begins to feel guilty about this because she never meant for this to happen. Kay thinks Charity will probably haunt her for the rest of her life. When she looks down at the ice, and sees Charity scratching at it! When they hear Kay scream, they come running. Luis and Miguel see Charity, so the grab rocks and try to crack the ice.

Whitney and Theresa see Ethan and Gwen kissing. Theresa tells Whitney that they can't be engaged, but Whitney tells her that she knew Ethan was going to propose to Gwen. Theresa plans to let Gwen see her ring because then she'll refuse to marry him. Theresa says that fate wants her and Ethan to be together, but Whitney thinks that Ethan will figure out an excuse to buy him time with Gwen. However, Theresa doubts that will happen because Gwen is expecting her ring. Meanwhile, Gwen asks Ethan to put the ring on her finger. Ethan asks why the ring is so important, it is just a ring. Gwen tells him that the ring represents an unbroken circle of love, and every girl dreams about her engagement ring. Gwen pulls out the picture of the ring and says she wants to put this ring on and show it to everyone to show them that they are committed to one another. She begs him to put the ring on her finger. Ethan stalls and says they should talk about wedding plans. Gwen wonders why Ethan is acting so strange, and she asks if he was even going to propose to her? Ethan says of course he was, and he asks her to marry him to prove it. Theresa sees Ethan get down on one knee, and her heart breaks. She realizes that the only way to stop this is to let Gwen see the ring. Gwen accepts Ethan's proposal, and then once again asks for her ring. Theresa comes over to see Gwen and Ethan, and congratulates them on their engagement. Gwen asks to be alone to discuss something with Ethan. Before Theresa can show Gwen the ring, Beth shows up and tells Theresa about Charity. Ethan, Gwen, and Theresa run to see if they can help.

At the Book Cafe, Eve and TC dance as Timmy and Tabitha watch. As they dance, Eve and TC tell one another how much they love the other. Timmy asks Tabitha why TC doesn't know about Eve's past? Tabitha says the perfect Eve Russell would never have told TC about her past, instead she lied and told him that she came from a proper family. When Timmy says that the photos in that envelope prove Eve was a very naughty girl, Tabitha says those photos are only the tip of the iceberg, and there is so much more she could reveal about Eve's past. Eve and TC sit back down, and Eve gets a call. Eve leaves to take the call, and Tabitha waits for TC to open the envelope. On the phone, Eve learns that there was no sign of the bird statue at Orville's apartment, and that it was probably burned to ashes. Back at the table, TC picks up the envelope and looks at it. Unfortunately, the waitress interrupts him by giving him the check, so he decides to pay it. Eve returns to the table, and TC wishes the perfect wife, mother, and doctor a happy Valentine's Day. They kiss, and decide to go home. Tabitha refuses to let Eve get away that easily, and she goes over to see them. As she tells Eve not to forget her chocolates and envelope, Chad bursts in screaming "Call 911!" Eve asks what is wrong, and he tells her about Charity. Tabitha hears this and can't believe that Charity is going to die!

Back at the pond, everyone watches and Luis and Miguel try to save Charity, and Theresa wants to help. Hank brings an axe, which Luis uses to try and break the ice. Luis finally cracks the ice, but soon the entire pond begins to crack. Beth brings a rope, which they throw to Charity. She grabs it, and they all work to pull Charity out. TC and Eve show up, as do Tabitha and Timmy. Eve asks someone to bring a car close to the pond so they can get Charity out of the wind once she is out. Charity reaches for Miguel's hand, and he grabs her. They pull Charity out, but Miguel looses his balance and falls in! Luis goes after Miguel, but TC holds him back because the ice is breaking. Tabitha routes for Miguel to die, because this will enable her to bring Charity over to the dark side.

Wednesday

February 16
At the pond, the gang manages to pull Charity out, but Miguel stumbles and falls into the water! Luis goes to save Miguel, but TC holds him back because the ice is breaking. They throw a rope to Miguel, but like Charity, he ends up going under the ice. Theresa says this can't be happy, and Kay blames herself for all of this. Simone tells Kay that she has to stop manipulating things, she has to stop trying to keep Charity away from Miguel.

Ethan and Gwen comfort Theresa, and Ethan decides to go help with the search. Theresa hides her ring and swears that if Miguel pulls through, she will stay out of Ethan and Gwen's way, unless Ethan really does want her.

Eve, Beth, and Sheridan work to warm Charity up. Charity asks where Miguel is? When they don't say anything, Charity realizes that Miguel has fallen in as well. Eve tells Charity that they have to get her some place warm, but she refuses to go anywhere until she knows Miguel is safe. Timmy feels sorry for Charity and says his heart is breaking for her. Tabitha tells him that soon Charity will come to their side, and she'll be glad she rid herself of that boy. Timmy doubts that. Charity goes to the edge of the pond and prays to God to save Miguel.

Luis tells everyone to get off the ice because he's going to break open another area. Suddenly, Miguel surfaces! Luis tells Miguel that they'll save him, but the ice begins to break, and the ice around Miguel is paper thin. Luis says they can put a ladder out on the ice and he can go out and get Miguel, but TC says they need someone lighter. Timmy wants to volunteer, but Tabitha won't let him. Timmy has a fantasy about saving Miguel, and receiving a kiss from Charity. Everyone applauds Super-Tim! Back in the real world, Kay and Theresa volunteer to go. Luis selects Theresa.

Gwen comforts Sheridan, who is worried about Luis and Miguel. Gwen also notices that Beth is giving Sheridan the evil eye. Sheridan says Beth is the reason she doesn't know whether or not she and Luis belong together. She also mentions Julian's advice, but Gwen doesn't think she should listen to anything Julian tells her. Gwen tells Sheridan that she and Ethan are finally engaged, but Ethan is acting strangely about her engagement ring and he won't give it to her. Sheridan tells Gwen to just trust Ethan's love for her. Later, Gwen tells Ethan that she can see he is worried about Theresa, and she is worried about her too.

Theresa climbs out onto the ladder to save her brother, and Luis and Hank lower it down over the ice. Miguel yells at Theresa to go back, and then he goes under the water again. Everyone thinks he is dead, but he comes back up. Miguel reaches for Theresa, and when Miguel grabs her hand, Gwen sees Theresa's ring! Theresa, Luis, and Hank all pull Miguel out and to safety. Charity runs to Miguel, and the two embrace. Tabitha is furious, but Timmy is happy that true love won out.

Eve wants Miguel and Charity to go to the hospital, but Charity convinces Eve to examine them at the Bennett house. Eve and the kids leave, and Luis stays behind to tape off the area to prevent any further accidents. Luis thanks Theresa and tells her how proud he is of her. Sheridan asks Luis if he is all right, and he says he is. Luis and Sheridan both want to tell one another something, but they try to do it at the same time. Unfortunately, before they can say anything, Hank and Beth interrupt them. Hank and Luis leave to get the police tape, leaving Sheridan alone with Beth. Sheridan tells Beth that it is amazing how much love Luis family has, and how much love there is in this town. She says she never had love in her life, and it is something she wants in her life. Beth tells Sheridan that she knows people are fond of her, but it would be difficult for the locals to fully accept her. She says if she got involved with a local guy, where would they live and could she be happy? She says the only way it could work for her in Harmony is if she hooked up with Hank and traveled around the world. Meanwhile, Hank and Luis talk about love as well. Hank doesn't know if he'll ever find love like Miguel and Charity have, but Luis is positive he will Hank tells her perhaps he's already found that type of love. Luis thinks about Sheridan, but Hank is talking about Beth. Hank tells Luis that he know he likes Sheridan, but their relationship can't go beyond a few dates and that Beth is the girl for him. Later, Luis and Sheridan are finally alone once again, but neither tells the other what they were going to. Hank and Beth show up with some hot coffee, and Hank and Sheridan leave to finish their date.

At the Bennett house, the kids wait as Eve examines Miguel and Charity upstairs. Simone tells Chad that he was great out there. Chad tells her that he's just glad that Miguel came through because he's one of the good guys. Tabitha shows up to play the caring neighbor and has brought a cup of warm tea for Miguel and Charity. When Tabitha learns Eve is looking after the kids, Tabitha says that they are in the best of hands. Tabitha talks with Simone about her mom for a bit. Simone says that her mom was a debutante and was brought up in a very proper home. Tabitha tells her that she must love looking at old pictures of her mother, but Simone says her mom doesn't have any. Tabitha tells herself that Simone should see what is in the bird if she wants to see some snapshots of her mother. Eve comes downstairs and tells everyone that Miguel and Charity are all right.

Charity and Miguel are spending some time together. Miguel tells Charity that he was so afraid he was going to lose her again, but everything is all right now. Meanwhile, Kay tells Simone that Miguel is going to stay at her house tonight, and she's going to make the most of the opportunity. Kay tells Miguel that he can stay in her parents room, and she and Simone will take care of them. Kay even offers to sleep in the chair by Miguel's bed to look after him. Charity says she would really appreciate that. Miguel and Charity go to bed, and Kay thinks that she will be alone with Miguel all night. However, Miguel has discovered that he and Charity can talk to one another through the heating vents. Kay realizes that she has to get tough and stop playing nice.

Chad talks with TC about Charity's premonitions and how they were triggered by a bird statue. TC wonders what it is bird statues because Eve was trying to track down one that belonged to Orville earlier. When Eve shows up, Chad asks her why she is interested in Orville's statue? Eve says Orville was interested in knowing if it survived the fire, but it didn't.

Tabitha goes home and plans the right time for everyone to learn the truth about Eve Russell.

Ethan and Gwen go to the Book Cafe, and Gwen tells Ethan that she saw the stone in Theresa's ring and it was enormous! Ethan tells her that she probably just saw the moonlight reflecting off the ice. Gwen tells Ethan that she is expecting her ring tomorrow, and if he wants to marry her, she needs a ring.

Whitney takes Theresa home, and Theresa tells Whitney about the promise she made to God if Miguel was saved. Theresa tells Whitney that it is over, and she won't go after Ethan unless he wants him to. Whitney asks her what about the promise? Theresa says she will keep out of their way, but the ring is still stuck on her finger. Whitney decides to leave for the night, and after she leaves, the ring comes off! Suddenly, Ethan calls Theresa and tells her that Gwen saw the ring. Theresa apologizes, but Ethan says it isn't her fault. However, he says that Gwen wants the ring by tomorrow morning, and he asks her if it has come off? Theresa lies to him and says it is still on her finger.

Thursday

February 17
At the lodge, Grace dreams about the night before and calls out Sam's name. Sam wakes up and says he is right here. Grace continues to sleep, so Sam goes outside to get the morning paper and some breakfast from a breakfast cart. Ivy confronts him and asks him if he thought about her last night? Sam says he thought about her the whole night. Ivy says she knew coming here wasn't a mistake, and that he wants her too. Sam says he doesn't want her, he laid awake all night thinking about how she tried to ruin his life. Sam tells her that Grace was hysterical last night and thought she saw him with a naked woman. He fears what she'll remember when she wakes up. He says he just prays she thinks it was all a bad dream. Ivy doubts that because he has scratches from her nails all over his back. Sam looks in the mirror and says she's going to kill him for this! Sam says he has to tell Grace the truth, but Ivy thinks he should lie to her. Sam refuses, and tells Ivy that he wants her to leave right now. Ivy asks her what he will do if he doesn't leave? Sam tells Ivy that he will never give up on Grace and his marriage means everything to him. Ivy says she feels the same way about her marriage in an odd sort of way, but they can still be together and nobody has to know. Back in the room, Grace continues to dream of Sam and Ivy. Sam comes back into the room to find Grace is awake. He quickly puts on a shirt, and asks Grace if she slept well? She says she didn't because she had those strange dreams all night. Grace asks Sam if what she saw was a dream, or was it real? She says if she was sleep walking when she was banging on that door, she can only imagine what the people in the next room thing. Ivy listens in to see what Sam tells his wife. Sam tells Grace that they had a lot of champagne last night, and Grace says it must have been a nightmare. Grace feels silly for thinking those dreams were real, but she knows she was banging on the adjoining door. She wants to go apologize to them, but he says that is not necessary. Grace wants to take a shower, and she asks Sam to please go talk to them for her. As Sam is getting dressed, he has his shirt off again, Grace comes out of the bathroom and sees the scratches on his back. She remembers her dream of a woman clawing his back, and begins to worry. Sam goes to talk to Ivy, and he tells her that he wants her to leave this lodge. Ivy wants Sam to make love to her, but Sam says that he doesn't want her! Back in their room, Grace begins to think that what she saw last night wasn't a dream. She wants to know who is in the other room, and she decides to go find out. Grace approaches the adjoining door, unaware that Sam and Ivy are in the other room together.

At the Crane mansion, Julian searches Ivy's room to see what she's been up to. Suddenly, Julian is surprised by Suzanne, the former maid. Suzanne just returned from Europe, a trip that Julian funded. Suzanne reveals her sexy maid's uniform to Julian, and she asks if they should go to his room? Julian says it is too far, so they make love in Ivy's bedroom. After they make love, they talk about Ivy for a bit. Suzanne thinks that perhaps Ivy has been cheating on him, but Julian says that Ivy would never do that because she knows she'd lose everything if he caught her with another man. Suzanne doesn't think that is very fair, and she asks what he'd do if she did find Ivy had a lover. Julian says he'd throw her out! Suzanne says that would make his son Ethan pretty angry, but Julian says Ethan is a fool because he won't bed Theresa just because he is marrying Gwen. Later, Ivy suggests to Julian that they go to Snow Mountain lodge to be alone, and he likes the idea because he thinks Ivy will never find them there.

Ethan calls Theresa and tells her that Gwen is in his room and is expecting him to slip the ring on her finger today. He says he can't tell her that she is wearing the ring, because she'll never marry him. He asks her if the ring is still stuck on her finger? Theresa says the ring is on her finger. Suddenly, Pilar shows up and demands Theresa tell Ethan that the ring has come off. Theresa lies to Ethan and says the ring won't come off. Pilar is furious and says she will tell him the truth if she doesn't. Theresa continues to lie to Ethan, who says that if he doesn't give that ring to Gwen when she wakes up, she will walk out of his life. Theresa blurts out "Yes!" and Ethan asks her what she just said? Theresa says that she said yes because she knows Gwen would walk out on him, and how upsetting this is for him. Ethan says he has to go, and he's going to pray for a miracle. After the call, Pilar lectures Theresa. Theresa thinks she is just protecting Ethan because Gwen is not the right girl for Ethan. Theresa tells her mom that she made a promise to God not to come between Ethan and Gwen unless Ethan wanted her too. Pilar tells her that she can't break that promise, and she should give it back to Ethan. Theresa thinks that Gwen is a fool to leave him over a ring, and she would do anything to make Ethan happy. Pilar says that by preventing Ethan and Gwen from marrying, she is making Ethan unhappy. Theresa knows Gwen cannot make Ethan happy, and she says this discussion is over. She says she's going to the Bennetts to see Miguel, and by then Ethan will have talked to Gwen and their future will be decided.

At the Bennetts, Miguel has a nightmare about Charity being trapped under the ice as Charity has nightmares about Miguel falling into the ice. In her room, Kay is busy making herself look gorgeous and sexy for Miguel. Simone tells Kay that she's just going to make a fool of herself. Kay sneaks into her parents room and looks at Miguel, who is still sleeping. She wants to show Miguel how much more she can love him than Charity can, so she climbs into bed with him. However, she soon realizes that Miguel is not in bed! She fears that he must have gone to check on Charity. In Charity's room, Miguel sits by Charity's bed until she wakes up. Charity calls Miguel her guardian angel and she gives him a hug. Miguel tells her that her premonitions were almost right, but Charity says her premonitions about hearts being broken was wrong. Kay shows up at Charity's bedroom door and sees Charity giving Miguel a back rub. Kay is furious and goes to see Simone. She tells Simone that she has to find some way to break up Charity and Miguel, and she thinks that Charity is a jinx. She realizes that might do it. Charity comes into Kay's room and asks Kay why she didn't tell her about the thin ice? Kay claims she didn't realize that is where she was headed, and she must have been daydreaming. Charity says it's okay, and she knows she didn't do it on purpose. Kay then tells Charity that perhaps she shouldn't tell anyone about what happened, because some of the kids at school thinks she is a jinx because of how Miguel keeps getting in danger because of her. Charity is upset by this news and decides to be alone to think about this.

Later at the Bennetts, Theresa shows up to see her brother. Miguel looks at Theresa's ring, and learns she's been able to get it off and hasn't told Ethan. Theresa says she will tell Ethan tomorrow, and Miguel can't believe his sister wants Gwen to dump Ethan. Theresa tells Miguel about her promise, and Miguel tells her that she can't ever go back on a promise to God. Theresa doesn't want to give Ethan up, but Miguel says he's not hers. Besides, he asks Theresa if she could really be happy knowing the only reason he was with her was because she tricked him. Theresa says that if Ethan really loved Gwen then he would have married her by now, but deep down she knows that Ethan knows Gwen isn't right for him. Miguel tells her to put Ethan to the test by giving Ethan the ring. Later, Miguel goes to see Charity, and she tells Miguel that she doesn't think he should be spending anymore time with her because she is a jinx.

Back at the mansion, Gwen wakes up, and she asks Ethan why he is so quiet? Ethan says nothing is wrong. He tells her that he loves her, and begins to kiss her. He wants to make love to her, but Gwen wants her ring first. She asks him why he just won't give her the ring, and says something weird is going on. Gwen demands to see the ring on her finger. When he fails to put a ringer on her finger, Gwen tells him that if he doesn't put a ring on her finger, it is over. Outside Ethan's room, Theresa wonders whether or not to give Ethan his ring back. She apologizes to God and tells him that she just can't give the ring back.

Friday

February 18
The very beginning of the show was interrupted for a storm report. Also, this hasn't been proofed!
At the lodge, Grace finds Sam's pajama bottoms, and wonders how they got ripped. She begins to wonder if Sam was really with another woman, and she decides to find out by going into Ivy's room. In Ivy's room, Ivy pulls Sam close to her and wonders how he can be this close to him and not do anything. Sam tells her to let go of him, and he starts lecturing her about how much his marriage means to him, and how much her kids mean to her. Ivy says that there is no reason Ethan needs to know about them, and she has gone to great lengths to make sure his length is happy, unlike hers. She tells Sam that she can't go one more night without him, she needs to feel alive again. Sam tells her that is not his job, but Ivy says she doesn't think Grace is enough for him. Sam tells her that she better not say anything to Grace. Ivy tells Sam that if he makes love to her, then she will leave if he still wants her to. Sam asks her what she will do if he refuses? When Sam hears the doorknob turn, he grabs Ivy and kisses her! Sam pushes Ivy up against the wall, so when Grace opens the door, she doesn't see them. After Grace leaves, Ivy is furious at Sam for kissing her only so Grace wouldn't see them together. Sam goes back to see Grace, and tells her that he's made arrangements to move their room because he doesn't want her to have anymore crazy nightmares. Grace asks Sam how he got the scratches on his back, and how did his pajamas get all ripped up? Sam tells her that she has to remember making love to him last night. Grace asks if he's saying she did that? Sam jokes and says he's offended that she doesn't remember. Grace and Sam are shown to their new room, which looks exactly like their old one.

On the plane to the lodge, Julain and Suzanne play perverted sex games, such as master and maid, and nurse and the naughty patient. Later, Julian and Suzanne play the milk maid and the wild bull. When they finally arrive at the lodge, they are shown to their room, which happens to be Grace and Sam's old room! Julian and Suzanne eat lobster and oysters for dinner and listen to some opera. They soon end up seducing one another. Back in Ivy's room, Ivy orders champagne for two and plans to seduce Sam once again.

At Tabitha's house, Tabitha tells Timmy to stop playing with the bird statue because she doesn't want anything to happen to the photos inside. Timmy watches Tabitha, who is cutting out hearts, and he wonders what she is doing. She says she's going to make Charity's premonitions come true! Tabitha has made herself a scoreboard of all those residents in Harmony who are in love with one another. Tabitha tells Timmy that she plans to ruin all of these relationships! Timmy feels bad and asks how they will live without love? Tabitha says they won't, and they'll wish they were dead without it. Tabitha says once everyone is devastated, it will be easy to lure Charity over to their side. Tabitha then grabs the bird statue and sticks it in her huge bag.

At the Bennetts, Simone makes herself all beautiful because Chad drops by to see how Miguel and Charity are doing. Kay says that Miguel is his old self, but Charity is acting a little whacked. Charity and Miguel show up, and Charity tells Miguel that he has to leave because she is a jinx. Later, Eve shows up to check on Charity and Miguel. Charity tells Eve that she is a jinx, but Eve tells her she is not. Miguel tells Charity that there is no reason he is going to stop seeing her. Chad also helps and tries to convince her that bad things just happen, and he is a good example. Kay is angry that her latest plan failed, and says she has to figure out another way to push Charity over the edge. Kay decides to make Charity a cup of tea, and when Charity looks into the tea, and Miguel yanks it away from her because she doesn't want her to get upset. Kay refuses to give up and tells Simone that they have to find the bird statue that upset Charity so much. Kay tells everyone that they have errands to run, so she and Simone leave. Miguel and Chad walk them out, and Eve tells Charity not to let herself be haunted by fear because it can prevent you from living your life. Charity comments that it sounds like Eve knows what she's talking about. Eve tells her to just concentrate on the present and realize how many people are around to love and protect her. Later, Chad looks at the pictures on the refrigerator and can't imagine living in a house where parents put their kids pictures on the fridge. Miguel asks him if his parents never did that? CHad says the people who raised him didn't want to see his face period. Eve realizes Chad had a really bad childhood. Chad tells her that she wouldn't know anything about bad childhood because Simone told him she grew up in a proper house, and that's why she wants Simone to stay away from a street kid like him.

Kay and Simone find Ruth at the Book Cafe, and Kay tries to buy the bird from her. However, Ruth tells Kay that she already sold it to some battle axe.

At the Crane Mansion, Theresa eavesdrops as Gwen tells Ethan that it is obvious he doesn't want to give her the ring, so either he puts the ring on her finger or it is over. Ethan can't believe she'd leave him over a ring, but Gwen says she's leaving because its obvious he doesn't love her. Gwen decides to go upstairs and get her things so she can get out of his life for good. Gwen goes up to Ethan's room, and Ethan sees Theresa. He asks her if the ring has come off? Theresa tells him that she's sorry, and she tells him that Gwen has threatened to leave her before. Ethan says this is different, she's really leaving him. He says he can't tell her that the ring is on her finger, and he can't buy Gwen another ring, and the jeweler said making an identical one would take months! Ethan tells Theresa that they have to try one last time to get the ring off, or it is over between Gwen and him. Ethan goes to try and take the ring off, but he stops because he thinks he's just going to end up hurting her. Ethan tells Theresa that for as long as he can remember he has been with Gwen, they grew up together and shared all the same experiences. He tells her that he can't imagine his life without Gwen. Theresa tells Ethan that maybe there is someone else he is meant to be with, like fate. Ethan says he doesn't know anything about fate, he just knows that he's always loved Gwen, and he still does. Gwen shows up, and she tells Theresa that she and Ethan have broken up, and she wanted her to be the first one to know. Gwen tells Theresa that Ethan doesn't want to marry her after all. Ethan tells her that is not true and she shouldn't throw what they have away because of an engagement ring. Gwen says that it is more than just the ring, and she's sick of his teasing her with the ring when he never planned on giving it to her. She then apologizes to Theresa for thinking she was trying to keep her away from Ethan when all along it was Ethan who was keeping them apart. Gwen walks out, and Theresa remembers the promise she made to God. Theresa takes the ring off and gives it to Ethan. Ethan gives her a kiss, and runs after Gwen. Ethan gets down on one knee, shows her the ring, and asks her to marry him. Gwen is thrilled and accepts. Theresa watches them and is crushed. Gwen puts the ring on and says she should demand an explanation, but she's sick of fighting. She asks if they can get married right away, and he says as soon as she wants. Gwen and Ethan go inside, and see that Theresa is crying. Ethan asks what is wrong, but Gwen says she obviously saw his proposal. Gwen asks Theresa to help her plan the wedding, which hurts Theresa. Theresa says that she has to go, but Gwen tells her that she can't because she hasn't seen her ring yet. Gwen says they are both engaged now, and it is such a wonderful feeling to be bonded to the man you love. Theresa cries that she has to go before she says something she'll regret, but Gwen says they are friends and she can say whatever she wants. Theresa cries that she has lost the man she loves.
