At the Crane Mansion, Julian tells Ivy that Martin is Fitzgerald is far from Harmony and will never be seen again. Ivy asks him to tell him the truth then, is Martin Pilar's husband, and what is his connection to the Crane family? When Julian refuses to tell her anything, Ivy says that Martin is either dead, or he is alive and knows something horrible about their family. She asks him what the truth is? Julian refuses to answer her question and tells her to just pray that Martin Fitzgerald never returns to Harmony. Later, Julian asks Ivy why she invited Sam and Grace to their party, and suggests that perhaps Sam knows something about her past? Ivy laughs at him and tells him to stop joking, but Julian says he should ask Sam what he knows about his wife's past. Ivy puts her foot down and tells him no! Julian asks why not? Ivy tells him that she knows he is joking, but Chief Bennett may not see it that way. She also fears that his joke could end up in the tabloids, but Julian thinks that she is truly worried about Sam looking into her past. Ivy says she is not worried, she is just annoyed by his idea of parlor games. She tells him that if he insists to go ahead and do this she'd like to be there when he has to tell Alastair that he was the reason Sam began to look into their family's past. Julian tells his wife that he was just joking. The phone rings, and Julian ignores it because he and Ivy have to head out to the tree lighting. A maid answers the phone and tells Martin, who is the person calling, that Julian and his wife just left for the tree lighting.
At the Lopez-Fitzgerald house, Pilar lights her candles for Martin and Antonio, despite Luis telling her that neither of them are returning. Luis tells his mom that the Martin Fitzgerald he found in New Mexico was nothing like the father he knew in his heart or the one she is always describing. He says that the truth is the entire trip was a waste of time and was just another trick of Sheridan Crane's he fell for. Luis says he was a fool to believe that Sheridan was any different from the rest of the Cranes. Pilar asks him why he is angry with Sheridan all of the sudden, so he explains to her how he bought Sheridan a compact to replace the one he broke, but she threw it away. Luis is convinced that Sheridan is a fraud, but Pilar realizes that he's been hurt. Luis denies it because he says you have to care about someone to be hurt by them, and he couldn't care a lick about Sheridan. Suddenly, Luis hears a noise outside, which is Martin Fitzgerald! Luis goes to investigate, and Martin hides. Pilar tells Luis that they have to leave now because she only has a short time at the tree lighting because she has to go to the Crane mansion to prepare for Ivy's party. Luis feels bad that his mom has to slave for the Cranes, and blames his father for that. Pilar tells Luis that she doesn't mind working, but Luis says she works too hard. Pilar hides the key to their door in their backyard, but Luis doesn't know why she bothers to do so. Pilar says that his brother and father know where the key is hidden, so if they return they can use it to get into the house. After Luis and Pilar leave, Martin uses the key to break into the house. He then decides to use the phone to call Julian, but Julian doesn't answer. Instead, a maid answers and tells Martin that Julian and Ivy went to the tree lighting ceremony. Martin decides to go to the lighting and say hello to Julian in person.
At the tree lighting ceremony, Gwen and Ethan ask Theresa if her boyfriend has shown up yet? Just as Theresa was about to tell them the truth, Whitney tells Theresa that the carolers are all messed up and she needs to go straighten them out. Gwen eventually confronts Theresa as she is instructing the carolers, and she demands Theresa tell them all about her nice rich boyfriend!
Simone, KAy, and Jessica show up at the tree lighting ceremony and wonder where Miguel and Charity are. Reese shows up wearing a ridiculous Santa hat with reindeer horns, and he just happened to have one for Kay as well so that everyone will know they are dating. Grace shows up and tells the girls that she knows they all want to light the tree, but she is hoping that Santa picks Charity and she also hopes they will be happy for her if he does. They all says that they would be and it would be wonderful if Santa picked Charity. Sheridan and Hank show up for the tree lighting, and when she learns that Luis is going to be here, she plans to thank him again for the lovely compact.
Outside the Book Cafe, Charity tells Miguel that she feels so blessed to have him in her life, and he tells her that he feels the same way. Miguel tells Charity that he knows Santa will pick her to light the tree, and Charity assures Miguel that if he does, she'll pick him to help her light the tree. On the way to the ceremony, Miguel buys Charity some roasted chestnuts, and Miguel remembers a Christmas a long time ago when his father roasted chestnuts for them. Charity tells Miguel that perhaps his father will return this year, but Miguel doubts that. Charity tells him not to give up hope and stop believing in miracles, and perhaps a miracle will bring his father back. Miguel says his mom would like that a lot, but he's not sure he would unless his dad had a really good explanation as to why he left them all those years ago.
As Tabitha Claus and Timmy the elf make their way through Harmony, the theme from "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" plays in the background. Timmy likes being around people without being a doll and asks Tabitha if he can meet more people his own age if he does a good job? Tabitha tells Timmy that he is a doll and he shouldn't forget it!
Tabitha shows up at the park, and Timmy tells Tabitha that he loves it here because everything is so pretty and everyone is smiling, everyone but Tabitha. Tabitha assures Timmy that she will smile when Miguel and Charity are both dead! Miguel and Charity show up at the park, which pleases Tabitha. Tabitha approaches Theresa for her instructions, and manages to save Theresa from having to tell Gwen the truth. There notices that Santa's voice is different, and that she already gave him his directions. Tabitha says she has a little cough, and she forgot what she was supposed to do. Theresa excuses herself once again from Ethan and Gwen's company to help Santa out. After she leaves, Gwen tells Ethan that they are not leaving until Theresa admits that he is the boy she loves. She also tells Ethan that once she does, and he realizes she was right all along, she'll be ready to accept his next wedding proposal.
Pilar and Luis show up for the lighting, and Luis feels bad for Hank when he sees him with Sheridan because he thinks Sheridan will dump him just like she dumped his compact. Ivy and Julian show up as well. Julian can't believe all these people have nothing better to do than stand around and witness the miracle of electricity. Ivy stares at Sam and says she plans to do something extra special for him at her party. Later Ivy jokes with Julian and says that perhaps she should ask Santa to bring home Martin Fitzgerald. Elsewhere, Hank excuses himself from Sheridan's company to get them some hot chocolate. Sheridan runs into Luis and thanks him for the compact again. He tells her to cut the game, he knows exactly what she thought of the compact he gave her! Sheridan says she liked it, and when she shows it to him, he is touched that she still has it.
Theresa tells Tabitha Claus what she needs to do tonight, and Tabitha and Timmy get to work to make sure that Charity and Miguel have an electrifying experience. All the girls in Harmony line up, and Tabitha Claus looks them over to decide who will be the one to "get it" this year. Tabitha looks them over, and chooses Charity to light the tree. Everyone applauds, and Kay is heartbroken. She is further crushed when Charity chooses Miguel to light the tree with her.
Gwen and Ethan finally corner Theresa and ask her to tell them about her boyfriend. Theresa admits that her boyfriend is here, so Gwen suggest she go tap him on the shoulder.
Tabitha and Timmy make a run for it and hide far far away from the tree so they are out of harms way. Miguel and Charity take their place at the switch, and the entire town counts down. 10 . . 9 . . 8 . . 7 . . 6 . . 5 . . 4 . . 3 . . 2 . . 1!
Hank gets some hot cider from Pilar, whose mind is elsewhere. She tells Hank that the tree reminds her of a Christmas long ago when Martin played Santa at the tree lighting. She tells Hank that she doesn't understand what happened in Santa Fe, but there must be a logical explanation. Hank changes the subject and asks her about Sheridan. He asks Pilar if a regular guy has a chance with Sheridan? Pilar says that Sheridan is not a snob like the other Cranes, and to her knowledge Sheridan is not involved with any other guy right now. That is music to Hank's ears, and Pilar wishes him luck with Sheridan.
Gwen and Ethan both ask Theresa to show them who her boyfriend is by tapping him on the shoulder. However, Theresa says she doesn't know if her boyfriend would appreciate being singled out. Ethan doesn't want to make Theresa feel uncomfortable, but Gwen wants to know who her boyfriend is and she wants to know now! Gwen tells Theresa to just point the guy out, which Ethan thinks is a good idea. Right as Theresa was about to tell them who she loved, Miguel and Charity lit the tree, which exploded!
Grace tells Sam that she wishes Noah was here to see his new cousin light the tree. Sam tells Grace that Noah will be back from his sky trip ASAP. Meanwhile, Tabitha waits for Miguel and Charity to throw the switch, but Timmy feels bad about killing them. The town counts down from ten, but when they reach one, Charity stops them. She tells them all that she can't light the tree without telling everyone how happy she is this Christmas and how loved she feels. She especially thanks her great cousins Kay and Jessica. Tabitha yells out that it is getting late and Santa has things to do, so the people of Harmony start the countdown again. As they get to one, Charity stops again because she suddenly gets a chill. Miguel and Charity step onto the platform and out of the breeze, and then they throw the switch. They both get shocked, and the tree explodes into flames! As everyone thinks Charity and Miguel are dead, Tabitha celebrates and says "A Merry Christmas to All, and To All a Good Night!" Tabitha takes off, and Eve examines Miguel and Charity. As Eve examines them, Pilar says some "Hail Marys." Julian fears that the Lopez- Fitzgeralds and Bennetts might sue them for funding a faulty tree. When he tells Ivy they are leaving, Ivy refuses because she feels one of the Cranes should stay and show some concern. Both Miguel and Charity are alive and okay, but Eve insists on taking them to the hospital to have them checked out. Miguel and Charity both say they are fine and they don't want to go to the hospital. Eve says perhaps they are okay, and TC says that the rubber mat on the platform they were standing on saved them from most of the electric volts. TC also learns that the switchbox was fraid, which arouses Sam's suspicions. They learn that Santa was the last one near the switch, so Sam says they need to find Santa and his elf friend for questioning.
Luis is shocked to see that Sheridan still has his compact. She tells him of course she does, why wouldn't she? Luis says he thought she threw it away. Sheridan asks him how he could think she'd throw away such a thoughtful gift? Luis suggests they talk elsewhere, and as they walk off they end up running into Martin, who falls to the ground. Martin ends up getting his foot caught in a grate, and Luis tries to help him free it. Sheridan asks Luis why he thought she threw the compact away? Luis says he saw it in the trash at the Book Cafe. Sheridan explains why it was there, and she says she is hurt that he jumped to such a conclusion. Luis finally frees Martin, who tries to make a run for it, but Luis asks him to at least turn around and say thank you. Martin says he has a cold and doesn't want them to catch it, but Luis doesn't buy the story. Unfortunately, Hank shows up and tells Luis that Miguel and Charity have been hurt, so he leaves MArtin without learning who he really is.
Sam questions Theresa about Santa. She says all she knows is that his name is VanPosten, but she dosn't know where he lives. Luis and Sam decide to go searching, and Ivy asks Sam if she can help? He tells her no thank you, he does not need her! Pilar once again warns Ivy to be careful around Sam! She begs Ivy to cancel the party, but she refuses because she's gone to a lot of trouble to make Sam hers tonight. Pilar warns her that if she goes through with this she'll have a bigger battle with Grace than she ever had with Mr. Crane.
Kay and Jessica ask Miguel and Charity if they are sure they are okay? Both of them say they are fine. Kay suggests Charity not go to the concert tonight after the ordeal she's been through, and Jessica actually agrees with her. Kay suggests that she go to the concert with Miguel so he doesn't waste the ticket, so Miguell says he guesses it would be okay. However, Grace butts in and tells Kay that she needs her to do some last minute shopping for her. Miguel decides to walk Charity home, and Charity tells Miguel that she thinks she knows something else they can do.
Gwen tells Theresa that she's glad her brother wasn't hurt, but she still wants to see this guy she loves. Theresa looks around and says he's gone and must have left when Chief Bennett told everyone to leave. Ethan tells Gwen that this isn't Theresa's fault, and perhaps they should drop it all together. Gwen and Ethan leave, and Theresa thinks that fate saved her once again. Gwen tells Ethan that she is not giving up on proving Theresa loves him.
Hank tells Sheridan that he wants to take her to a special place, so he drags her underneath some mistletoe so he can kiss her. Luis spots them kissing and is affected by it.
As Julian sits in the limo and waits for his wife, he spots Martin walking the streets of Harmony.
At Tabitha's house, Santa wakes up and realizes it is getting late and he has to get down to the park. On his way out he decides to take another sip of booze from the bottle on Tabitha's table. Timmy and Tabitha return home and find Santa still in their house. Tabitha tells Santa to sit down and have another drink, but Santa says he's already late for the tree lighting. Santa says they can't start without him, he's the star of the show. Timmy tells him not this year, he blew it and the show went on without him. Tabitha tells Santa that she impersonated him because he was incapacitated. Santa is furious and says he's going to call the cops on her! Tabitha says she didn't do it for the money, but for the joy of it. Santa says perhaps she is okay, and then makes a date with Tabitha later after her elf goes to bed. Timmy is insulted and says he is no elf, and they don't need him! Tabitha tells him to speak for himself, she wants to jingle Santa's bells! Timmy tells Tabitha that the police will be looking for Santa, which Tabitha forgot about. Tabitha tells Santa that she'll make him a fresh hot tate, but then he'll have to leave so she can get ready for their date! Tabitha makes Santa a new hot tate and spikes it as well. Tabitha tells Timmy that after Santa drinks her latest concoction he won't remember a thing, but they have to make sure he drinks it all and stays here long enough for it to kick in. Tabitha decides to go upstairs and change, and Santa realizes he is late for another give, so he drinks half of the hot tate and then takes off. Tabitha hopes that Santa doesn't run into Sam Bennett, or their gooses are cooked! However, Tabitha tells Timmy that they shouldn't worry about things that haven't happened. Tabitha goes to her basement door and shouts at the denizens of darkness that she wants her powers back! Timmy begins to feel guilty about what they did and he thinks that Miguel and Charity's spirits will haunt them, but Tabitha tells him that will never happen! There is a knock at Tabitha's door, and when she answers it, she promptly faints upon seeing Charity and Miguel.
Out on the streets, Sam and TC run into Santa. Santa tells Sam that he was supposed to pick the girl who was supposed to light the tree, but he never made it there. Sam asks him if another Santa took his place? Santa says someone else did take his place, and he knows who that person is.
Julian spots Martin Fitzgerald walking around Harmony and is furious. Julian yells at Martin to stop, and then he chases after him. When Julian finally reaches Martin, he finds out that the guy he's been following wasn't Martin after all. Ivy finds Julian calling the man Martin, and she asks if Martin has returned to Harmony? Julian tells her not to be ridiculous!
Sam finds Santa, who can't seem to remember who the Santa who took his place was. When Sam realizes it was probably just an accident, he has the Santa taken into the station so he can sober up. TC then questions Sam about his relationship with Ivy, and he wants the truth about it. Sam tells TC that he met Ivy 20 years ago while he was away at tennis camp. Sam says that he and Ivy had to see one another secretly because she was the daughter of the governor and he was just Sam Bennett. TC asks Sam what happened? Sam says that Ivy married Julian, that is what happened. TC asks Sam if it is possible that Ivy hasn't gotten over him? Sam says it doesn't matter, he doesn't want to have anything to do with Ivy Crane every again! Grace shows up at this point and asks Sam what he means? TC says that Sam just doesn't want to spend Christmas Eve at another Crane function, but Grace says she already promised Ivy that they would be there, and she says they don't have to stay for long.
Sam, Ivy, Grace, and TC arrive at the Crane Mansion for Ivy's party. They are the first guests to arrive, so Ivy tells themselves to warm themselves by the fire. Suddenly, Alastair calls to speak to the Russells and Bennetts. Pilar puts him on speakerphone so he can talk to them.
Luis sees Hank gives Sheridan a kiss under the mistletoe, and it makes him a tad jealous! Pilar tells Pilar that they look nice together, and perhaps Hank is the man Sheridan has been waiting for. Luis blurts out "No Way!" Luis says that Hank is all wrong for Sheridan because they come for two different worlds. Pilar asks Luis if this has anything to do with the fact that he's angry with Sheridan? Luis tells his mom no, and that he was wrong about Sheridan after all. Pilar asks if he can change his mind about Sheridan, why can't he do the same about his father? Luis tells his mom that will never happen. Back under the mistletoe, Sheridan tells Hank that she doesn't want to give him the wrong impression about her, she isn't looking for a relationship. Later, Hank asks Sheridan once again if she's falling for Luis, but she insists she is not. Hank suggests they go get some hot chocolate, and she accepts.
Martin heads to the Book Cafe to warm up, and as he sits down and begins to read the paper, Sheridan and Hank come in for some hot chocolate. Luis also shows up for some hot coffee. When Martin sees Sheridan and Luis, he panics and tries to remain hidden. Luis decides to leave, but Sheridan and Hank both insist he stay for a little while, so they sit at a table next to the one Martin is at. Luis realizes their table doesn't have any sugar, so he asks Martin to past the sugar!
At Tabitha's place, Charity and Miguel try to help Tabitha, who has fainted upon seeing them standing in her doorway. When Timmy sees them, he thinks that perhaps they are ghosts! Tabitha comes too and mumbles "You two are dead, your dead!" She says she saw them electrocuted at the lighting ceremony. Miguel knows Tabitha wasn't there and he asks her how she knew about that? Tabitha says she heard about it on the radio. Tabitha tells them that she cried so terribly when she heard the report, but Miguel and Charity say that they switched places at the last minute and it saved their lives. Charity thinks they should call Dr. Russell to have her come look at her, but she tells them not to bother. Tabitha asks why they came by? Charity says she brought her a Christmas wreath to decorate her house, and they hung it on the door before the knocked. Tabitha thanks them for being so thoughtful. Charity then realizes that Tabitha doesn't have any Christmas decorations up. Tabitha says she just forgot about Christmas this year, besides it is hard for her to decorate in her old age. Later, Charity tells Miguel that she wants to do something special for Tabitha, and she's going to need his help. After Charity and Miguel leave, Tabitha decides to leave to get some air and think. She realizes she can't go out the front door because of the wreath, and then she notices her friends in the basement are not pleased with her. She apologizes to them for the wreath and for mucking up the electrocution. Tabitha sneaks out the back door, and Timmy hides from the people in the basement.
Kay and Simone are working at Grace's shop. Simone thinks it is fun, but Kay is not having a very jolly time. Jessica makes it worse for Kay by wondering out loud what Charity and Miguel are doing tonight. Later, Reese, who was trying to put glitter on the packages he'd been wrapping, ends up dumping it all over Kay. Miguel and Charity show up, and Miguel teases Kay and tells her that she's not supposed to be decorating herself. Charity then gets all her friends to help her with an idea, she wants to decorate Tabitha's house for her! Kay asks where they will get the decorations from? Jessica says they can use the ones in the store, but Kay says their mom doesn't just give things away. Jessica tells her that she has money on her, she can use it to buy the decorations! Earlier, Jessica overheard Kay telling Simone how she planned to go buy some new shoes at Lowels. Miguel says that he knows Kay will front the money because she's such a wonderful person, so she does. Reese sees Tabitha heading down the street, so the kids decide to go decorate her house.
Tabitha feels the need to be nasty to someone, so she steals the salvation army donation bucket from a blind lady!
Back at Tabitha's place, Timmy was sitting down to watch "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," when he hears the kids breaking into the house. He quickly hides, and the kids begin to decorate Tabitha's house. As the kids decorate, the people in the basement grow angry and a red light glows from underneath the basement door. While decorating the tree, Charity remembers decorating the tree with her mom. Later, the kids notice the red light coming from the basement! Miguel thinks it might be a warning light for her heater and perhaps he should check it out. Tabitha shows up and thinks that Timmy has decorated her house. Timmy says he didn't do it, they did! He then points towards the kids and tells her that they decorate the house and are about to go into the basement! Meanwhile, Miguel and Reese decide to break down the basement door because it is locked. Tabitha tells Timmy that if those kids break down that door, all hell will literally break lose!
At the Book Cafe, Luis asks Martin to pass him the sugar. When Martin does nothing, Luis threatens to come over and get it himself! Sheridan eventually stop Luis from picking a fight with the guy and gets him some sugar from another table. Hank and Luis then entertain Sheridan with stories about their old Christmas pranks, for example hanging mistletoe all over Harmony High, including over the door to the girl's locker room. Sheridan realizes that is where Hank got the idea to kiss her in the park, and Luis realizes that they were only kissing because of mistletoe. Hank admits to hanging the mistletoe, but only so she could enjoy a Christmas tradition. Sheridan asks if that is the excuse they used in high school? Luis says yep, and it didn't work on those girls either. Hank wishes that Sheridan had gone to Harmony High with them. Sheridan says she wished she could have too, but she had to leave Haromy. Luis asks why? Sheridan remembers the murder, but says it was due to a misunderstanding. Sheridan asks Luis if he's heard anything about his father yet? Luis says no, but he will catch him eventually. Luis tells them that he just wants to make his father understand all the pain he's caused by abandoning his mother and family. Hank realizes it is late and he has to do his shopping, so Luis offers to give Sheridan a ride back to the mansion because he has to pick up his mom anyways, and then head to midnight mass. Hank says goodbye to Sheridan, who gives him a little kiss. Luis tells Sheridan that Hank is a great guy, but he doesn't want to see him getting hurt. Sheridan says he and Hank seem pretty tough, he doubts anyone can hurt him. Luis takes Sheridan back to the mansion, and they spot Martin looking into the window which looks into Julian's study!
At Tabitha's house, Tabitha blames Timmy for all of this, but Timmy says he didn't let the kids in! Meanwhile, Reese and Miguel try to break down the basement door, which they can't, but they keep trying to knock it down. Tabitha tells Timmy that they have to put a stop to this because the Shadows in the basement will not be pleased at all if Charity and Miguel were to come down there. Tabitha walks into the living room and asks them what is going on here? Charity tells Tabitha that they wanted to surprise her by decorating her house for Christmas. Miguel asks Tabitha if she has the key to the basement? Tabitha asks why, are they going to decorate it too? Miguel and Simone tell her about the light, but she tells them that it is nothing to worry about. A nosey Jessica finds the key to the basement door, and Miguel decides to give it a try. Tabitha tells Miguel not to unlock that door and says that red light is just a light-bulb for her plants. Reese says that light wasn't on when they first came in, so Tabitha says it is on a timer. Simone says it pulses kind of oddly, but Tabitha says it is just a weird bulb she ordered from a catalogue. Miguel still wants to go, but Tabitha says she'll go down there and turn it off. Tabitha tries to calm down the Shadows and asks for a chance to explain, but all they do is roar at her. All the kids hear Tabitha scream, and they ask her if she is all right? Tabitha says she is fine and will be right out. Tabitha apologizes to the Shadows for not destroying Charity and Miguel, and she assures them that she will destroy them soon. She asks the Shadows to turn down the light or the kids will continue to grow more suspicious. The light eventually goes out, and Tabitha returns to the kids and says she saw a mouse. She thanks them for their concern and then tells them that they must have better things to do. Charity says they don't, and she asks her how she likes them? Tabitha says that words can't describe how she feels. Timmy tells himself that she probably feels nauseous, but he likes them. Tabitha says she needs to rest, so they should probably get going. However, Charity refuses to leave until she puts the angel on the top of the tree. Miguel puts it on top of the tree, and Charity asks Tabitha if she was surprised by all the decorations? Tabitha tells her that surprised is not the word. Charity is glad that Tabitha is happy and says now she will have her very own angel watching over her for Christmas. The kids eventually leave to get ready for choir practice before midnight mass. Timmy puts on some Christmas music and decides to dance around. Tabitha calls Timmy tinsel for brains and says they are going to get rid of these decorations, starting with the tree. Timmy stops her, and comes up with a good excuse as to why they should leave them up. Timmy says the kids could come back and would be suspicious if their decorations were missing. Tabitha realizes she is right, and says at least nothing else can go wrong. Suddenly, the angel on the top of the tree morphs into the angel girl, and she tells Tabitha that she has come for her.
At the Book Cafe, Ethan and Gwen are having dinner together. He asks her if she is enjoying being with him? She says she loves being with him, but she wishes this mess with Theresa is over. Ethan tells Gwen that he believes now that Theresa is in love with him and has been all along, which is music to Gwen's ears. However, Gwen soon realize that Ethan is only saying what she wants to hear. Ethan tells her that Theresa isn't important, all that is important is that they love one another. He tells her that he doesn't want to fight or talk about Theresa any more this Christmas. He gives Gwen a gift and tells her it is from a man who loves her with all his heart. Gwen also has a gift for Ethan, which she gives him.
Theresa is busy wrapping her present for Ethan. Whitney asks her how she is going to give it to Ethan without Gwen knowing? Theresa thinks she has the perfect way.
Chad, who is working at the Cafe, asks Whitney how her sister is, but Whitney snaps at him and tells him to stay away from her sister. Theresa reminds Whitney that it is Christmas, so Whitney apologizes. Chad says all he wanted to do was wish her sister a Merry Christmas. Whitney asks Orville if anything new has happened with Orville? Chad says no, Orville is still out cold.
Theresa and Whitney go out to the parking lot and Theresa hides her gift for Ethan in his car. When Ethan and Gwen show up, they are forced to hide. Ethan and Gwen get in the car, and Ethan finds Theresa's gift. He opens it, and its a scarf. He asks Gwen if she got this for him, but she says no. However, Gwen tells Ethan that either Theresa gave it to him, or Santa Claus did! Ethan says he doesn't want to discuss this and tells her that they will be late for Christmas Mass.
Hank shows up at the Book Cafe and gets a present from Beth, a tie. She tells him that he's going to need it if he's going to keep Sheridan Crane. He thanks her and tells her that it is the perfect gifts.
Simone shows up at the Book Cafe and gives Chad his gift, which is a sweater. He tells her that it is beautiful and he can't remember the last time someone gave him something. He tells Simone that he can't accept it because he has nothing for her, but she says she didn't expect him to buy her a gift. She decides to leave for church, but is obviously hurt that he did not get her a gift.
At Tabitha's house, the angel on the top of Tabitha's tree morphs into the angel girl. Tabitha asks her what she is doing here? The angel girl tells her that she has come for her soul! The angel girl tells Tabitha that she can give up her evil ways and come into the light. She asks Tabitha to let the light fill up her darkness. Timmy urges Tabitha to just do it! Tabitha laughs and tells the angel that she will never come into the light. She vows to destroy both Charity and the angel. When Tabitha lunges at her, the angel vanishes. Tabitha tells Timmy to turn off that infernal Christmas music and never to let the vows of goodness get to him because it is all an illusion. Later, Timmy goes out on the porch and licks a candy cane. He sighs and says that Christmas seems like so much fun. He wishes he could celebrate Christmas just like everyone else. Suddenly, the angel girl appears and invites Timmy to come with her into the light. Timmy wants to go, but he says he can't leave Tabitha because he's the brains of the operation and she needs him. Timmy tells the angel that Timmy is all Tabitha has, and he knows she loves him. The angel tells Timmy that she'll always be here if he changes his mind, and then she zooms off. Timmy goes back inside and then presents Tabitha with a present, which he says is not a Christmas gift. Tabitha opens it up, the gift is a cookbook. Tabitha tells Timmy that she doesn't believe in Christmas gifts, but she does have a late Halloween present for him. Timmy opens the gift, which is a new coat, and she also agrees to lock Fluffy in the attic for the night. Tabitha goes into the kitchen to make something, and Timmy tells the angel on the tree that Tabitha isn't all that bad.
At the Crane mansion, Julian is on the phone with his father and is assuring him that Martin is in Alaska. Suddenly, Julian spots Martin peaking inside his window. Julian hangs up on his father, claiming he has to return to his party, and then heads after Martin. Outside, Luis spots Martin and decides to confront him. Before he can do so, Julian grabs Martin. Martin says he came here to get what he owes him, but Julian refuses to be blackmailed. He tells Martin to get out of here before someone catches him. Suddenly, Luis shows up and tells them both to freeze! Luis ends up grabbing Julian by mistake, and Martin gets away. Luis apologizes, and decides to wait by the backdoor for his mom. Sheridan waits with him and asks him if mistletoe grows wild in this part of the country? He tells her he doesn't know, and asks why? Sheridan says she was just wondering. Luis looks around and says he doesn't see any mistletoe. Luis wishes Sheridan and Merry Christmas, and she wishes him "Falice Navidad." (I know I killed the spelling, sorry! After Luis leaves, Sheridan decides to go to Christmas mass.
Elsewhere in the mansion, Grace, who is joined by Eve and TC, are horrified to see Sam kissing Ivy. Ivy tells Grace that she's afraid she caught Sam under the mistletoe. Grace laughs it off and says that Sam also likes to hang mistletoe around their house. Later, Sam warns Ivy never to pull a stunt like that again. The Russells and Bennetts decide to leave for church, and Ivy notices that Julian looks like he's seen a ghost. When Pilar begins to tidy up, she sees something which causes her to gasp. Ivy asks her what is wrong? Pilar says she thought she saw someone looking in the window. Julian says there is no one out there, so he must have imagined it. Pilar leaves, and Ivy asks Julian to tell her the truth. Julian says nothing is going on, but Ivy tells him that he keeps looking out the window like someone is out there. Julian tells her that if it would make her feel better he'll go out and check the grounds himself. After Julian leaves, Ivy calls the chauffer and asks him to bring the car around. Julian pulls out a gun and decides to take care of Martin Fitzgerald.
On their way to church, Pilar and Luis stop at what is left of the Christmas Tree. Pilar tells Luis that she and his father used to love looking at the tree, and one day she knows he will return and they will look at it together again. As they walk off, a spying Martin seems touched by Pilar's words. Later, Julian finds Martin and pulls a gun on him!
At the church, most of the citizens of Harmony have gathered for Christmas Mass. Father Lonagin welcomes everyone into the church. Kay and Simone share their disappointments in the gifts the received, or in Simone's case didn't receive, from the boys they love. Theresa is thrilled when Ethan and Gwen show up and Ethan is wearing the scarf she gave him. Chad shows up at the church with a surprise for Simone, a Christmas gift. Simone opens the gift, which is a CD. She thanks him and says she loves it. Chad decides to leave, but Simone asks him to stay for midnight mass. He eventually agrees to stay. Eve is not pleased to see Simone with CHad, but TC tells her to relax because it is Christmas. Charity is picked to carry the Christ child up to the altar, which pleases Grace but infuriates Kay. Ivy shows up, and sees how happy Sam looks with Grace. Sheridan also shows up, and when she and Luis exchange Christmas greetings again, Beth looks downright pissed off! After placing the Christ Child in the church nativity, Miguel and Charity light the candles. Everyone lights their candles and sings "Silent Night." Outside, the angel girl restores the town Christmas Tree to all its splendor.
