Timmy tells Santa that a wicked old witch lives here who hates Christmas and if she saw him she'd cut off his beard! He also warns Santa not to go down into the basement. Timmy asks Santa to take his list before the old bag returns. He tells Santa that the only thing he wants for Christmas is to get rid of fluffy. He also asks Santa if he needs help at the North Pole because things aren't going well here, and the crazy old lady he lives with can't do anything right and is in a lot of trouble. He tells Santa that the lady's friends have left her, and without them she's nothing, a has-been. Santa removes his beard, and we learn that it is really Tabitha, who is downright pissed with Timmy. She calls him a traitor! Tabitha chases him around the living room, and Timmy tells her that he knew it was her all along and he was playing along with her joke. Tabitha tells Timmy that she is not wearing this costume for laughs, she is going to play Santa tonight in order to pick Charity to light the tree, and Timmy realizes that Charity will pick Miguel to help her. Timmy asks her then what will happen? Tabitha says they will light the tree and it will be goodbye Miguel and Charity! WHen Timmy asks how, Tabitha produces the switch they will use to light the tree. Tabitha tells him to throw the switch. Timmy flips the switch, and a thousand volts are sent through his body! We see the Timmy doll jump around and his hair stand on end as Tabitha laughs.
Back at the mansion, Gwen shows up early to meet Ethan. Ethan thinks that is a good sign, but Gwen says she only wants to get a front row seat at the lighting so they can see Theresa show up alone, and she can see the look on his face when he realizes that she has been right about Theresa all along. Elsewhere, Alastair calls Julian. Julian tells his father that Martin Fitzgerald is no longer a threat.
Whitney meets up with Theresa in the park and tells Whitney that Ethan and Gwen are coming to the tree lighting ceremony, and that she is dead if she doesn't come up with a boyfriend. Whitney tells her that she should just pray that Gwen doesn't show up, and Theresa thinks that is the answer to her problem. Theresa is positive that fate is on her side and that Ethan and Gwen won't show up. Unfortunately for Theresa, Gwen and Ethan do show up for the ceremony!
At Tabitha's place, Tabitha picks up a smoking Timmy doll and says that her plan is going to work perfectly! Timmy, aka Don King, comes to, and Tabitha says she hopes Charity enjoys the rest of her last day on earth. Tabitha changes out of her outfit and says she's off to the park to make sure everything is set for her plan. Timmy asks her how she will make sure she is that Santa who picks Charity to light the tree? She tells him not to worry about that, and that she has left a costume for him in his room and she wants him wearing it when she returns home. Timmy goes up the steps, but hears Fluffy at the top of the stairs. Timmy begs Tabitha not to leave him alone with Fluffy, but she tells him to deal with the cat on his own, and then she leaves. Timmy tries to figure out how to deal with Fluffy, and comes up with a plan. He makes a break for the kitchen. Timmy grabs a drumstick from a turkey and uses it to lead Fluffy outside, where he locks him out.
Miguel and Charity sneak away from the Bennett party because Miguel has a surprise for Charity. Miguel takes Charity to the Book Cafe where he had Beth prepare them a special dinner, just the two of them. Charity tells Miguel that she is enjoying this Christmas so much, but she wishes she could remember some of the past Christmas holidays she spent with her mom. Charity becomes sad and suggests they change the subject. Miguel says he wants to know if she'd like to spend New Years with him, and she says she'd like that. Later a Spanish Christmas song comes on over the radio. Charity asks Miguel if he speaks Spanish? Miguel says not really, but his mother does. She asks if his father does as well? He says no, and that his dad left them a long time ago and had very little influence on them. Charity thinks that Christmas must be hard for his mom, but Miguel says that his mom is great about it. He admits to Charity that his favorite Christmas was the last one he spent with his dad. Charity hopes his dad comes back soon, and she says he must have had a really good reason for leaving his family. Miguel tells her the reason that they were told their dad left, and he wishes he would come back and tell them what really happened. He also says he would never leave his family no matter what, children shouldn't have to grow up with one parent. Charity tells Miguel that he'll make a great father some day. After dinner, Miguel and Charity head to the park for the tree lighting.
At the Crane mansion, Julian is on the phone with his father assuring him that MArtin Fitzgerald is long gone. Ivy returns home and says hello to Alastair, who is on the speakerphone. Alastair sounds very interested when Julian tells his father that Ivy was attending a party at Sam Bennett's house. When Ivy asks Alastair if he will be home for Christmas, Alastair says he will be home eventually, but his exact date of return will be a surprise. He tells Ivy that he'll come home when they least expect him, or perhaps he'll return when they've made a mess and need him to swoop in and clean it up. Julian tells his father that he gives him no credit, but Alastair says he can't keep this entire family in line on his own. Alastair asks Ivy what she has been up to lately? When she doesn't answer, he asks her once again what she's up to because he always finds out anyways? Ivy says there is nothing to find out, she's been up to nothing anyways and there is no point to lie to him because he knows everything that goes on in this family and in Harmony. Alastair tells Julian that his wife has brains, she knows better not to do anything that would displease him behind his back! He tells them that he will speak to them again soon and says goodbye. Ivy leaves and Julian knows his wife has secrets and he thinks his father knows what they are, and he just hopes he will learn them someday soon. Later, Ivy realizes that she's dropped her locket somewhere. Back in the living room, Julian finds Ivy's locket and wonders what it is. Julian fiddles with the locket to try and open it, but eventually gives up and thinks it is one of the maid's lockets. Ivy shows up in the living room looking for her locket, and Julian asks her if she's looking for anything? She says she's not looking for anything, she just wanted some of his eggnog. He asks if she was looking for a locket? When she says, with a hint of desperation in her voice, "Where is it!" Julian asks her why a simple locket is so important to her, and why has he never seen it before? Ivy tells him to just give it to her, but Julian asks her when she got it and why it means so much to her? She begs him to give her the locket, and he realizes that she does have a secret. He taunts the locket in front of her and asks why she is so upset to have dropped it? He refuses to give it to her until she tells him why she is so upset over it? Ivy says that he knows how she hates to lose things, and she eventually grabs it from him. Julian asks Ivy what she is hiding, and if his father knows about it? Ivy says she has no secret, and he should be far more concerned with his father learning that he botched the Martin Fitzgerald affair. Julian thinks Martin Fitzgerald is far away from Harmony and he'll never hear from him again.
At the park where the tree lighting is to occur, Theresa tells Whitney that there is no way that Gwen will show up here because fate is on her side. Whitney tells Theresa that she needs to wake up and get a clue! Whitney tells her that if she can't prove she is in love with someone else, Gwen will be able to prove to Ethan that she was right about her all along. Theresa says that she doesn't have to worry about that because Gwen won't show up tonight. Elsewhere, Gwen and Ethan have shown up, and they are busy looking for Theresa and her mysterious boyfriend! They don't see her, and Gwen thinks that is because she chickened out because she knew she couldn't produce a boyfriend in such little time. Ethan thinks she' is wrong and suggests they find Theresa and put an end to this. Back at the tree, Theresa and Whitney are busy decorating it when Ethan and Gwen finally find her. Gwen tells Theresa that she looks surprised to see her! Ethan tells Theresa that they are here to meet her boyfriend because it's really important to them. Theresa's not sure where he is, but Gwen says she thinks she knows exactly who he is, and she says he's already here! Suddenly, Santa shows up looking for Theresa, and Theresa tells Ethan and Gwen that she has to excuse herself so she can help Santa get ready and tell him what he needs to do. Ethan and Gwen say they will go get some hot chocolate and wait for her to return with her boyfriend. Theresa fills Santa in on his responsibilities, and after he leaves she worries about how to deal with Ethan and Gwen. Theresa thinks that perhaps Whitney can tell Ethan and Gwen she got sick, but Whitney says Ethan and Gwen will just go to her house to see her. Whitney tells Theresa that Gwen knows she is lying and she will check out any excuse she comes up with. Whitney tells Theresa that there is only one way she can get herself out of this mess, she has to tell Ethan the truth. Theresa says she can't do that because she will lose her chance to make Ethan fall in love with her. Whitney tells her that she never had a chance, and if she doesn't confess, Ethan will hate her for trying to ruin his relationship with Gwen. At the Book Cafe, Ethan and Gwen are enjoying a hot drink, and Gwen tells Ethan that she bets when they return, Theresa will have vanished! Ethan and Gwen return to the park, and Theresa decides to tell them the truth.
Tabitha goes in search of Santa Claus, but can't find him anywhere. She heads to the park, and searches for Santa and the switch to light the tree. She finally spots Santa with Theresa and follows him when he heads off to look for something hot to drink. Unfortunately, Santa's something hot to drink is liquor! Tabitha runs into Santa and knocks his bottle over, spilling its contents. Tabitha apologizes and says she was rushing home to make a hot tate (sp?) for herself, and offers to make him one. She says she doesn't live very far away, so Santa agrees to go with her.
Tabitha and Santa return to Tabitha's home, and Timmy the Christmas elf comes downstairs and sees Santa on the couch waiting for Tabitha to bring him his hot tate. Timmy thinks it is Tabitha at first, but realizes he isn't Tabitha after all. He sits on Santa's lap and begs Santa to take Fluffy back to the north pole. Tabitha shows up with Santa's hot tate, and wonders what Timmy is doing? Santa pushes Timmy off his lap and asks Tabitha if her kid is all right because he kept calling him princess? Tabitha tells him that he is one of the neighborhood kids and she indulges him by letting him dress up in costumes and playing make believe. Tabitha tells Santa that she has to add her final special ingredient to her hot tate before he can drink it. Timmy sees her poisoning Santa and asks her if she's crazy? Tabitha tells him to shut up or she'll put one of these in his MarTimmy! Tabitha serves Santa a spiked Hot Tate, which he says is different. Eventually, Santa passes out. Timmy is horrified and asks Tabitha what she will do next, make Easter Bunny stew? Tabitha tells him that she will cook him if he doesn't stop feeling sorry for the wrong people! Tabitha gets into her Santa suit, and she tells Timmy that he's going to be the one who fixes the switch which will fix Charity and Miguel. Timmy doesn't want to hurt anyone, but agrees to do it when Tabitha threatens to lock him in the attic with FLuffy.
On the bus to Harmony, Martin asks the guy next to him to wake him up when they get near Harmony. Martin tells himself that Julian should have given him the money he asked for in New Mexico, because now it will cost him a whole lot more! Later, the man next to Martin wakes him up and tells him that they have arrived in Harmony! Martin thanks him, and wonders if Julian will be happy to see him.
