The two shower, getting ready to go to bed. They open what they think is a closet, and, clad in only towels, find each other on either side of the door. They realise that the manager assigned them adjoining rooms -- apparently he never DID get that they didn't want to be rooming together. After some conversation, a comb exchange (Luis forgot to buy one and Sheridan conveniently bought an extra!), and a discussion about putting their differences aside, each heads back to their respective beds -- one way or the other, their questions about Martin Fitzgerald will be answered tomorrow.
Luis has a flashback to a time when he was a child, talking about sports camp with his father. He says that they don't have enough money for the camp, but Martin Fitzgerald promises to get him the money any way he can. Coming out of his memory, Luis asks himself if his father got that money by stealing it from the Cranes.
In her room, Sheridan is having a nightmare. She sees herself sitting on the floor as a young child, looking at the body under the sheet. She has a conversation with her younger self, and says she has to know who's under the sheet. She lift the sheet (viewers never see what's under it), and begins crying, because it's Martin Fitzgerald! In her dream, Luis comes (in his uniform), and is also shocked to see who is under the sheet. She doesn't realise it, but she's crying out in her sleep.
Luis, luckily, is still awake. He hears Sheridan crying out ("My God! I did it, I did it!"), and goes to the door (topless, of course). He calls her, but she won't answer. He opens his door and tries the adjoining door to her room, but it's locked. When he doesn't get an answer after calling her a few more times, then breaks down the door to get to her. She is still crying out, so Luis gathers her into his arms and tries to comfort her.
Theresa and Ethan are trying to decide what to have for dinner when Gwen phones. Although Gwen tries to tell Ethan that she'll soon be able to join him because the roads will be cleared, Ethan tries to convince her to return to Harmony. He tells HER it's because he fears for her safety, but Theresa knows it's because he doesn't want Gwen knowing she's there. But just when she starts thinking that she might have a chance, Ethan dashes her hopes by promising Gwen a romantic Caribbean vacation, and telling her how much he loves her. Gwen asks what the crashing sound in the background was, and rather than admit it was Theresa dropping something, he gives her a glib line and hangs up.
He finds Theresa crying in the kitchen, and, being his regularly intelligent self, surmises that it's because she dropped a can of expensive caviar. To cheer her up, he suggests a seafood cook-off. She'll make a shrimp and Spanish rice dish (hopefully they stock all the right ingredients) which she says is a recipe her grandmother brought from "the Old Country", and he tells her he'll wow her with his amazing clam chowder. After downing oysters as an appetizer (Ethan tells her he's a #1 oyster shucker), both get to their respective meals.
Theresa begins to believe again that she just may have a chance with Ethan. The two eat the dinner, deciding that it's a draw, and that both dishes are excellent. As a little after dinner activity, the two decide to bundle up and head outside for a snowball fight. While Theresa gets Ethan occupied in noticing what a beautiful night it is, she manages to get a good shot in. (The snowball fight is, to date, the most romantic thing to happen yet on the show.) Both Ethan and Theresa relive a second childhood with their snowball fight.
The two finally finish up, and return to the cabin, only to learn that the power is out. Theresa figures this is her one shot, and, in the dark, begins telling Ethan how much she cares about him. Unfortunately, Ethan was off looking for pillows and blankets. When she realises he didn't hear a single word she said, she decides that now isn't the time. Ethan apologizes for her being stuck there, telling her he's sure she'd probably rather be with the guy she has a crush on. He sets beds up for them in front of the fire so that they can keep warm, unaware of the fact that Gwen has decided that, since the roads are clear now, she's going to join Ethan up at the cabin!
Back in Harmony, the teenagers are practicing for the play. Miguel and Charity are simpering over each other, and Kay and Jessica are trading nasty barbs. Charity is tied up to a stake, waiting for the "fake" fire to start. Little do they know that Tabitha is beneath the stage, setting a REAL fire, despite Timmy's strong objections. Grace tells Charity once again that she doesn't HAVE to play the part, but Charity assures her that she's fine. She doesn't even remember the fire, so why would it bother her?
Tabitha and Timmy are below the stage setting up. Timmy is certain that they'll get the fire out long before it can cause any damage, but Tabitha reassures him that Charity WILL burn, just like Prudence Standish did three hundred years ago. To make sure of that, she emptied all the fire extinguishers. Timmy is still doubtful, but Tabitha assures him that her plan will work -- after all, it's not the fire that gets them, but the smoke inhalation. To further her efforts, Tabitha is down there stoking the fire.
Charity's feeling a little warm, so Miguel decides that he and the Bennett girls will get her a drink while Charity practices her lines. Not wanting to leave her alone, Miguel changes his mind and heads back inside, only to notice that the fire isn't fake after all. He tries putting the fire out while Charity tries to untie herself, but Charity can't get the ropes undone. TC, Hank, and Sam come rushing in, while Grace stands in the doorway, fearing Charity will come to the same end as Faith did. TC finds the fire extinguisher, but unfortunately, Tabitha already made sure they wouldn't work. No one seems to be able to get the ropes untied or diminish the flames at all, and Sam and Hank hold back Miguel, while they watch Charity pass out from smoke inhalation. Down below, Tabitha and Timmy, not wanting to breath any more smoke, decide to head upstairs -- their work is done.
Just in time, Grace's angel appears, and manages to slow down the fire long enough for Hank and TC to put it out with a hose they managed to find. Miguel gets Charity off the stake and off the stage, but she's unconscious. Sam wants to know what happened, but TC and Kay assure him that the torch wasn't even lit. Tabitha's upstairs now, and comments that it's horrible that young Charity has died. Kay, meanwhile, couldn't care less about her cousin -- she's noticed that Miguel burned his hand. Jessica pulls Kay away from Charity, asking her if she had anything to do with the fire. Kay assures her sister that she doesn't want Charity dead, just an amnesiac.
Charity comes to, and thanks Miguel for saving her life...again. Miguel asks her if she remembers the other fire, and him saving her, and she says she does. Kay realises she'll never get Miguel now that Charity has her memory back. Tabitha, knowing she's in for it if Charity sees her, hightails it out of there, just in time for the Angel to appear to her. Once again, the Angel tells Tabitha that she's done with.
Sheridan arrives at the auto-body shop, where Martin is inside and is busy drinking. Sheridan knocks on the door, and Luis shows up behind her asking her what she's doing here? When Luis realizes someone is inside, Luis forgets about Sheridan and concentrates on getting the answers he needs.
At the cabin, Ethan asks Theresa if she is sure she doesn't mind him sleeping so close to her? Theresa says she doesn't mind it. Ethan just doesn't want her to be uncomfortable, especially after what happened earlier. Theresa assures him that she won't be uncomfortable. Theresa ends up tripping into his arms, and she and Ethan fall to the floor. Ethan laughs and says the last time this happened Gwen saw them, but at least that won't happen this time. Ethan and Theresa lay down on the floor next to the fire, but Ethan thinks that something is missing, marshmallows! Theresa and Ethan both think they are the best marshmallow toaster in Harmony. They both say they do something special to their marshmallows, they make super-dooper cocoa covered marshmallows. They are both surprised that the both eat them that way, but then realize that Pilar taught them both how to make them that way. Theresa thinks it is fate, and she tells Ethan that she had her fortune told once and believes it will come true. Ethan becomes interested and asks what her fortune was? She says that it would be bad luck to tell him. He tells her than he knows it has something to do with the boy she likes, and he tells her that the great and powerful Ethan sees that her fortune will come true, and that she will make him love her. Ethan realizes how late it is and says they will have to take a rain-check on the marshmallows and get some sleep. Theresa suggests they have them in the morning, but he says they have to get her out of here first thing in the morning so Gwen doesn't find her here. Theresa dreams that Ethan proposes to her at the cabin. She says "yes yes yes!" in her sleep, and unknowingly grabs Ethan's hand. Ethan rolls over and grabs Theresa in his sleep.
Gwen is at a pub talking with the caretaker. The caretaker says that the roads should be cleared any minute. Gwen can't wait to surprise her boyfriend, but the caretaker asks "what if he's there with another girl?" Gwen says not her Ethan! Gwen learns that the snowplow has busted through the snowbanks, so Gwen takes off to surprise Ethan. Gwen arrives at the cabin and says that Ethan is in for the shock of his life. Gwen goes inside and realizes the power has gone out, and she sees Ethan sleeping by the fire to keep warm. She doesn't see Theresa, so she decides to keep Ethan warm herself. As she nears Ethan, she overhears Theresa says "Yes Ethan yes!" Gwen blurts out "Oh my God!" Theresa wakes up and is shocked to find Gwen standing over her!
At the school, Miguel is holding Charity in his arms. Grace wants to take Charity to the hospital to make sure she is all right. When TC says this is the second time Miguel has rescued her from a fire, Charity says she remembers. Miguel is thrilled and thinks this means she is getting her memory back. Sam and Hank decide to stay behind to find out what caused the fire, and then they wonder where Tabitha is. Sam looks at the scene and realizes that the fire was started under the stage, and someone must have started it. Hank isn't so sure that someone would have done this and thinks there must be a reasonable explanation, such as a wire under the stage. Hank asks who could have done this, they knew everyone here? When Sam says Tabitha could have done it, Hank asks why she would want Charity to die?
Outside, the angel confronts Tabitha and tells her that this is the end of the line for her, she will never harm Charity again! Tabitha tells her that is what she thinks. Tabitha tells the angel that neither her nor an entire celestial army can keep her from killing Charity. The angel tells her that she still understand that "he" has the power. Tabitha isn't frightened of the man upstairs or by what the angel is saying, but Timmy sure is. The angel tells Tabitha that she's going to have to teach her a lesson. The angel raises her hands, and suddenly Tabitha is bound by beams of light. The angel causes Tabitha to levitate into the air. Timmy asks her to put Tabitha down, but the angel says that Tabitha must be taught a lesson. The angel warns her for the last time that if she tries to harm Charity, she will be punished. Tabitha zooms down to the ground, and the angel disappears. Tabitha and Timmy have to hide when they hear Sam and Hank leaving for the hospital to check on Charity. Tabitha tells Timmy that they have to get to the hospital to find out what Charity remembers.
At the hospital, Eve is worried about Orville and the possibility that he could reveal her secret. Orville is sleeping in his bed, and when she leaves the room, Whitney asks has Orville is? Eve tells Whitney, Chad, and Simone that he is still unconscious. Eve suggests that Chad leave because there is no telling when he wakes up, but Chad refuses. He says that he wants to be here when he wakes up to hear what he has to say. When Simone says she wants to hear what he has to say as well, Eve tells her "Oh no you don't!" Eve asks Chad to excuse them for a minute so she can talk to her daughters. Whitney asks her mom why she doesn't want them to hear what Orville has to say? Eve says this is not about Orville, it is about them disobeying her and hanging around with Chad. She threatens Simone that she will ground her for six months if she continues to hang around with Chad, and then she tells Whitney that her lack of judgement appalls her. Orville begins call Eve's name, and Chad hears it. He tells Dr. Russell that Orville is calling out her name, her first name! Before Eve can explain, a nurse tells Eve that Charity Standish was brought in with smoke inhalation. Eve goes to check on both Charity and Miguel. Miguel refuses to leave Charity, so she assigns them to the same room to be checked out. Simone grabs Kay and asks her if she set Charity on fire? Kay says of course she didn't, but now Charity is beginning to remember what happened before the fire. Eve has some tests ordered for Charity and Miguel, and tells Grace that she has to check on another patient. Eve returns to Orville's room and finds TC there. When TC overhears Orville calling out his wife's name, TC asks his wife if she knows this old man? Eve says that he must have seen her name tag. TC asks if this is the hit-and-run victim? She says it is, so TC asks why Whitney and Simone are here? She says that she'll tell him later. Eve has to leave to look at Charity and Miguel's tests, and Orville continues to call out Eve's name. TC says that his wife must have made a big impression on him.
Chad asks Whitney why he's still hanging around with him when her mom doesn't want him hanging out with her sister? Whitney says it is better that she be with him to make sure Simone isn't with him. They start arguing about Chad's past, and Whitney thinks that either his family has lied to him, or he is just lying to her. Whitney says that all she knows is he has a lot of secrets, and her family doesn't keep secrets. Chad tells her that everyone has secrets. Chad and Whitney go into see Orville, who tells Chad that he knows a secret. He warns Chad that if he continues to search for his past, he'll die!
Tabitha shows up at the hospital, as does Hank and Sam, and Sam tells Tabitha he needs to question her about the fire and what happened under the stage. He asks her if there is anything she'd like to tell him? Lucky for Tabitha, Grace pulls him away from Tabitha and tells him that she's scaring Tabitha. Sam thinks that perhaps Tabitha saw something or someone that started the fire, but Grace says that the fire was just an accident. Charity and Miguel are find and are released, and Charity tells her family that she's remembering being in Harmony with Miguel before the fire. Tabitha and Timmy overhear this and worry. Charity thinks she will be remembering a lot more about all of them, even Tabitha!
At the hospital, Sam finds Eve and TC arguing about Chad, Orville, and the girls. Sam asks Eve if the hit-and-run victim is awake yet? Eve says he is, so Sam wants to question him. When they go into the room they overhear Orville warn Chad that if he keeps looking into his past he will die! Sam becomes concerned and starts asking Orville what he is talking about? Orville suddenly becomes confused and claims he doesn't know Chad and is tired. Eve tells them that Orville needs to rest, so they should all leave. Outside, Sam questions Chad and the girls about Orville and the hit and run. Simone explains her famous X-files theory to Sam, who becomes suspicious. Eve becomes upset when she learns that Simone and Whitney have been hanging out with Chad, and TC isn't very pleased to learn that Whitney took a look at Chad's birthmark. Sam asks had if anyone else knows Orville. Chad says Eve does, but Eve denies knowing Orville, even though TC says he seems to know her. Sam takes the kids aside to talk to them more about the hit-and-run incident. Eve tells TC that she doesn't want her girls hanging out with Chad, but TC thinks he's a nice guy. Eve demands he back her up on this, so he says they will talk to them. He also asks Eve about her busted headlight. Eve says it is nothing, and refuses to let him take it to the auto-body shop. Meanwhile, Sam decides to call the station and put search out for any cars with front-end damage. Later, Eve becomes nervous when she hears Sam tell Chad that his past and its connection to Orville has become a police case.
At the Crane Mansion, Ivy and Julian return home from another society function. Ivy tells Julian he's been pretty quiet, and that he must be pretty worried about Sheridan's search for the truth about that night. She starts taunting and teasing him about what Sheridan might find, and he eventually blows up. He warns her to stop poking her nose in where it doesn't belong. He says that this secret could destroy the entire Crane family, and that includes her precious Ethan. Pilar shows up at this point and barely misses hearing them arguing about her husband. Pilar wants to talk with Ivy, so Ivy excuses herself from her husbands company. Pilar is worried about Theresa, she can't find her anywhere and all she knows is that she's sleeping at a friends house. Ivy tells her to relax, Theresa is at the Cabin with Ethan. Ivy explains everything to her, which worries Pilar. Pilar says she's also worried about Luis, she thinks he may have gone off to find his father. Back in the living room, Julian calls the airport to see about booking the Crane jet only to learn Sheridan and Luis have taken it to New Mexico!
In New Mexico, Luis bangs on the door to Linder Industries, and Martin approaches it. However, the window is so dirty that Luis can't see his face. Luis says he's looking for Martin Fitzgerald, and Martin tells him that he's found him. Luis claims he needs to talk to someone about a car, so Martin excuses himself to get the keys to the door, it is locked from the inside. Sheridan asks Luis why he didn't tell his dad the truth? Luis says he didn't want to give him a chance to run off. Inside, the phone rings, and it's Julian calling Martin. Julian warns Martin that his sister and his son are there looking for him. Martin panics, and quickly takes off. Luis calls the owner of the auto-body shop, who comes down to talk to him. Luis questions him about the man working for him and all the details point to him being his father. Luis learns that Martin often goes to a fishing cabin to get away, so Luis decides to head up to the cabin to confront his father, and of course Sheridan insists on going. Up at the cabin, Martin hopes Julian can straighten everything out because he doesn't want his secret being exposed!
Back in Harmony at the mansion, Pilar has left and Ivy catches Julian on the phone with Martin Fitzgerald. She is furious with him for lying to everyone and demands to know what is up. She accuses him of forcing Martin to leave his family, a family he loved, and she wants to know why. She then wonders if this Martin isn't really Martin, but a decoy he and his father cooked up to cover something up. Julian tells Ivy that if his father is willing to sacrifice his own daughter to protect the secret surrounding Martin, what does she think he'd do to her?
At the cabin, Gwen and Theresa stare at one another until a shocked Ethan finally wakes up. Both Ethan and Theresa do their best to explain to Gwen that it is not what it looks like, but she doesn't want to hear it and tells Ethan that she doesn't want to hear from or see him every again. Ethan and Theresa continue to try and explain everything to Gwen. Theresa says that Ethan didn't know she was coming here, Julian sent her to have Ethan sign some papers. Gwen asks her how she got here before she did, didn't she get caught in the storm? Theresa says that she got here before the storm hit, and Gwen realizes that Theresa was here when she called Ethan. She's furious because she was worried about Ethan being alone, but he told her not to risk the danger trying to get here, obviously because he was having a good time with Theresa. Theresa blurts out that is not true and that Ethan had this place fixed up all romantic and planned to greet her naked with a kiss. Gwen asks her if Ethan told her this, and Theresa lets it slip that is how he greeted her. Gwen's rage grows and she runs out of the cabin. Ethan follows and tries to explain that he thought Theresa was her. Gwen is even more hurt because he's kissed her a thousand times, yet he didn't know he was kissing Theresa and not her. She thinks there is more going on than even Ethan is willing to admit, and she drives off. Theresa sees this and thinks that Ethan may finally be hers!
TC and Sam search through Orville's things. TC looks through his LP collection, and Sam looks through his papers. TC finds some letters all made out to Orville, but he never opened any of them, but one. They decide to check out some of them, and find money in one. TC says there is something familiar about the envelopes, though he doesn't know what. The shot pans over to Eve's office where she is addressing an envelope exactly like the ones at Orville's place!
At the cabin, Ethan and Theresa are preparing to head back into town. Theresa apologizes to Ethan for Gwen finding them together. Ethan appreciates her trying to make Gwen understand the truth, but he doesn't blame her for getting the wrong idea about what she saw. Ethan asks Theresa what she would do if she was in Gwen's shoes? Theresa tells Ethan that if he was the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with, she'd forgive him for anything and would never let him go, but then again she's not Gwen. Ethan hopes that Gwen feels the same was that she does. Ethan calls Gwen, but she's not answering the phone. Ethan decides to give Sheridan a call to get some advice, but she doesn't answer. Theresa decides to call her mom to check in, she was hoping to hear from either her or her brother Luis. Theresa says she is fine, and asks what is wrong with Luis? Pilar tells Theresa that Luis is in New Mexico trying to find her father, and Sheridan is with him. Theresa is shocked because they can't stand one another. Theresa tells her mom that she and Ethan are leaving now, and she will explain everything to her when she gets home. Ethan asks what is going on with Sheridan and Luis? Theresa explains to him where they are, which Ethan says explains where she is. Ethan and Theresa drive back to town, and once again Ethan apologizes to Theresa. Theresa tells him it is okay and she's had much worse things happen to her.
Theresa arrives home and tells Pilar and Whitney everything that went on at the cabin, minus Ethan kissing her naked. Ethan asks Theresa if she is still a "good girl?" Theresa says of course she is, nothing happened. Pilar tells Theresa that she's playing with fire, and Whitney says Ethan still loves Gwen. Theresa says that Ethan may not love her for long, and Gwen will find someone else. Pilar tells Theresa that she knows something about Gwen and why she will win out in the end. Theresa says she is not afraid of Gwen, but Pilar tells her that she should be. She makes Theresa promise to come straight home from school because she doesn't want her running into Ethan or Gwen today. Later, there is a knock at the door, and Theresa rushes to answer it hoping it is Ethan, only to find it is Gwen! Gwen tells Theresa that they need to talk.
At the mansion, Ivy finishes her workout session and starts teasing Julian. She asks him why he's up so early, is he having trouble sleeping because of Sheridan's trip to New Mexico? Julian tells her to just shut up! Julian says if he is concerned about his sister it is because she is with Deputy Dog Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald in some flea-bag of a motel. Ivy starts prying into the past and demanding what happened to Pilar's husband. Julian says he has no idea and could care less. Ethan comes home and asks his parents what is going on, he knows he walked in on something. Ivy says it was just a silly tiff and she'd much rather hear about him and Gwen. Ethan tells his mom that he didn't propose to Gwen, and thanks to father he may never get the chance. Ethan explains to his mom that Gwen found him and Theresa at the cabin sleeping in front of the fire to stay warm. Julian asks if they were only sleeping? Ethan says yes, and now two innocent women's lives have been changed forever because of him! Ivy scolds Julian for hurting both Ethan and Sheridan, but Julian says he couldn't care less about what happens to Sheridan. Ivy realizes that Julian couldn't care less if Sheridan is scared for life because of what she thinks she did to Martin Fitzgerald. Ivy threatens to call Alastair and tell him what a mess Julian has made out of two familiar concerns, but Julian forbids her to speak to his father!
In New Mexico, Luis and Sheridan are driving up to the cabin. Luis remembers his dad signing him up for baseball camp as a kid, even though Luis said they didn't have the money. His dad told Luis not to worry about that, he'd get the money. Sheridan asks Luis to let her drive for awhile, but he says they are almost there. Suddenly, the car goes off the road. Luis and Sheridan get out of the car, which is in pretty bad shape. Sheridan is shaken up and Luis wants to get her to the hospital, but she says she is fine and it's not like this is her first car accident. Luis says this one is definitely his fault, and he's sorry. Sheridan asks Luis what he will do when he finds his father? Luis says he wants to look into his eyes and soul to find out what is going on inside of him, and he wants to make him pay for hurting his family. Luis once again becomes suspicious about Sheridan's intentions and asks what his father really means to her? Sheridan tells him that his mother means a lot to her and she wouldn't be where she was today without her. She tells Luis that finding his father would make his mother happy, and it would make her happy to make Pilar happy. Luis and Sheridan stop into a coffee shop and to get some coffee and donuts. They question the store owner about Martin's cabin, and learn that he came in late last night. He tells them if they plan on hiking up there then they should be careful of flash floods. Luis tells Sheridan to wait her and call the auto-shop while he goes up to the cabin. Sheridan refuses and says she will be there when he comes face to face with his father! Sheridan and Luis hike up to the cabin, and Sheridan says the place is beautiful. They run into a guy who warns them that they are about to run into a big storm if they keep hiking, but neither of them are afraid of a little rain. The rain begins to pour down and Luis thinks they should turn back, but Sheridan spots Martin's cabin close by. Luis says to get there they'll have to cross the stream, but Sheridan thinks she can make it. Luis decides to scout ahead for a safer place to cross and he tells her to wait here. Sheridan disobeys him and follows him, so he gives up trying to convince her to wait. Luis takes Sheridan's arm and tells her not to let go of him because it is very slippery. As they make their way across the river via some rocks, Sheridan is hit by flood waters and swept into the river!
At school, Charity runs into Miguel and apologizes to him. He tells her that it is all right, and then asks her if she's okay because she gets a funny look on her face. Charity remembers the first time she met him at the carnival when she spilled a drink on him. Charity laughs and tells Miguel that she remembers when they first met! Everyone is happy that Charity is getting more of her memory back, everyone but Kay that is. Charity then notices the picture for the school Thanksgiving play and the photo of the pilgrim seems remind her of something, but she doesn't know what. Miguel tears it down and says it probably reminds her of almost being burned alive. Charity thinks it reminds her of something deep in her memory, but she doesn't know what. Charity thinks that she should pay another visit to Tabitha's on her way home.
At Tabitha's house, Timmy is trying to console Tabitha and assure her that she will have another chance to get Charity. Tabitha tells her that the powers of darkness are gone, she can't fight that angel, so her struggle with Charity is over. Timmy asks her where her fighting spirit is? Tabitha says that terrible child stripped it away! Tabitha says she's met her match and is all washed up. Timmy tells Tabitha that he will prove she's not all washed up, and he runs out of the room. Timmy returns with Tabitha's bad, and dressed up as a magician. He tells her that Timmy the terrific will produce a dove out of his hat, but he fails. He then decides to turn a vase into a doll, but fails again. Tabitha laughs at him and shows him how it's done. Timmy manages to make Tabitha feel better and realize that maybe she's not completely washed up. Suddenly, Tabitha hears Charity and Miguel talking outside. Charity tells Miguel that she hopes she can remember the voice she heard talking to her mother the night of the fire, because it would answer a lot of questions. Tabitha overhears Charity tell Miguel that she wants to visit Tabitha to see her pilgrim picture in hopes that it will jog some more memories. Charity knocks on Tabitha's door, and Tabitha invites her in. They talk for a bit, and Tabitha tries to learn what Charity remembers, especially about the fire. Charity says that part of her memory is fuzzy. She looks around and doesn't see the pilgrim painting and asks where it is, she was hoping to see it again in hopes that it would trigger her memory. Tabitha tells Charity that it was damaged by the fireplace, so she had to get rid of it. Tabitha tells Charity that she best be running, but Charity says she has a gift for her. Charity gives Tabitha a plant and tells her that she'd really like to get to know her better. Charity tells Tabitha that she has a feeling that her house or her could help her remember her past. Tabitha doesn't know why, but says she should take things slowly. Tabitha thanks her for the plant, and quickly shews her out of her house. Timmy tells Tabitha that he doesn't like this, and Tabitha says she doesn't either. Tabitha then decides to finally get rid of the pilgrim painting once and for all. Suddenly, one of Tabitha's spell books begins floating, and Timmy thinks it may be a sign that she's getting her powers back! The book opens to a page, and Tabitha approaches it to read it. Suddenly, the book goes up in flames!
Miguel and the others go into the Bennett house and Miguel tells Grace and Sam that Charity went to see Tabitha, but Charity is remembering more and more about her past. Simone asks Kay to say something, but Kay says Charity is getting her memory back and she knows when she's been beaten. Sam tells all the girls that he'd like to ask them some questions about the fire. They tell him what they know, including that they didn't see Tabitha around when the fire started. Later, Charity returns and Miguel asks her if she'd go out with him sometime? She says she doesn't know, she's never been on a date. Miguel says they kind of went on one, he showed her around Harmony over the summer. Charity remembers the date and how they talked about the sea. Charity is thrilled that she is remembering more and more. Kay, Jessica, and the others come into the kitchen, and fumes come out of Kay's ears when Charity accepts Miguel's offer to go out on a date. Kay storms out of the house, and Simone goes after her. Outside, Kay tells Simone that she's lost Miguel forever.
At the Lopez-Fitzgerald house, Theresa is shocked when Gwen shows up at her door telling her that they need to talk. Theresa asks her why she's here? Gwen tells her that she knows exactly why she's here. Pilar is on the way out of the house and sees Gwen, and is shocked to see her here. Gwen says she just came by to chat with Theresa. Theresa tells her mom that it will be okay, so Pilar leaves. Whitney, decides to go up to Theresa's room and look over her tennis schedule. Gwen asks Theresa if she would just love to get Ethan, wouldn't she? Theresa says she doesn't understand what she means by "get" Ethan. Gwen tells her that she knows exactly what she means, dating, marriage. Theresa says Ethan wouldn't marry a girl like her, but Gwen says this is about what she wants, not Ethan. Gwen tells Theresa that she knows she is after Ethan, and she will do whatever it takes to protect her investment in him! Theresa says she sounds like she's talking about a bank account, but Gwen says she's talking about the love she's invested in Ethan. Gwen tells Theresa that she must know what it is like investing a lot of time into a boy, and Theresa says she does. When Gwen is beeped she says she needs to make a phone call, and asks if she may go into her room to make a call? Theresa tells her no, she can't go into her room! Gwen asks her why not? The shot pans to Theresa's room where she has a virtual shrine set up to Ethan on her bulletin board. Gwen asks Theresa if she's not hiding something, perhaps a shrine to someone she has a crush on in her room? Gwen says if she has, would it be to someone she knows? Theresa blocks the way to her room and tells Gwen that she cannot go in there. Gwen asks why not, what is she hiding? Theresa says she's not hiding anything, so Gwen says it shouldn't be a problem, and storms into Theresa's room.
At the mansion, Ethan is still trying to reach Gwen, but can't reach her. He talks with his mother about the whole ordeal, and then decides to go to Gwen's office to see if her secretary knows where she is. Ivy scolds Julian for what he's done, and she says Alastair will not be pleased if he's screwed this marriage up.
