August 2002 Week 1

Julian ends up nursing his injuries while Rebecca tends to him with a massage. Rebecca wonders what happened between him and Antonio, and he says she doesn't want to know. Julian ends up calling the police to file a complaint, but Ivy pulls the plug on his phone call and tells him that calling the police could be the second biggest mistake of his life. Ivy tells him that Theresa has every right to be here according to Ethan, and Theresa is the least of his worries. Ivy wonders why Antonio is so angry with Julian, but he says he has no idea why. Ivy wonders just what he did to Antonio. As Ivy is trying to get Julian to open up, Alistair calls Julian to let him know that Luis and Sheridan are going at it in the pool as they speak. He says very soon they will head back to the cottage, mere yards from Antonio. Julian doesn't understand, so Alistair fills him in on Sheridan's amnesia and how she fell in love with Antonio, but has now regained her memory and forgotten about Antonio. Alistair suggests if Antonio walks in on Luis being intimate with the women he loves, Antonio and Luis will kill one another, leaving them in the clear! Both Julian and Alistair begin to laugh, and Julian begins to think of a reason to send Antonio to the cottage.

Meanwhile, Ethan looks at a picture of Sheridan and wonders why she can't come back if Theresa could. Gwen says he knows why not, and hugs him. As Ethan hugs the picture, Brian/Antonio comes over and asks who the picture is of? Ethan says it is Sheridan, his best friend. Elsewhere, Gwen offers to watch the baby if Theresa wants to sleep. Theresa says she is not as fragile as everyone believes, and things are working out wonderfully for her.

At the Crane pool, Luis tells Sheridan that he won't let anything come between them again, and they kiss. Later the two cuddle in bed, and Luis tells her that he searched everywhere for her but found nothing. Sheridan doesn't understand why anyone would want to falsify her death, but Luis says the question isn't why, it's who. Luis fears Julian is to blame for all of this. Sheridan isn't shocked after everything else her father and brother did to keep them apart. Both Sheridan and Luis vow to find out the truth as to what happened. Later they talk about Luis' family, and Luis says that his oldest brother is due back in town tonight, but he wants her to have nothing to do with him. Luis tells her that Antonio doesn't give a damn about his family, but Sheridan thinks if he is coming home then maybe he wants to make amends. Luis doubts it, and asks Sheridan to stay clear of Antonio.

At the hospital, Miguel grabs Sam's gun and points it at him. He yells at Sam that he won't let him kill Charity! Kay asks Miguel to give the gun to her dad, but he yells at her to stay out of this. Sam tries to reason with Miguel, as does Father Lonigan. A medical tray ends up getting knocked over, and Miguel fires his gun accidentally. Doctors come running, and Sam continues to try and reason with Miguel. Simone tells Kay that she hopes she is proud of herself for setting this evil in motion! Miguel refuses to let them kill Charity, but Sam says they just want to let nature take its course. Pilar shows up and tells Miguel to give Sam the gun. Pilar learns Charity is dying, but Miguel screams that Charity is not dying, and if she dies, then he might as well die too. Pilar tells Miguel that she knows how he feels, she felt the same way after his father left. She says taking ones own life is taking the cowardly way out, and it will not honor anyone's life. She begs Miguel to give her the gun, and he does. Miguel then cries in his mother's arms. Grace says goodbye to Charity, and says the only consolation she has is that when she leaves them she will be returning to her mother. Kay tells Charity that she is so sorry for this, she didn't mean for this to happen. Kay then tells Charity to go straight to the white light, don't turn around, and don't worry about Miguel because she'll take care of him. Miguel, however, refuses to give Charity permission to leave and he tells her that he loves him and doesn't want her to go. He begs her to fight and hold on after they turn off her ventilator and to come back to him. Sam ends up turning off Charity's life support, and Eve tells them all that now they just wait. Suddenly, Charity begins spasming.

Timmy tells Tabitha that he is going to die, but she says he won't because if he dies, then she'll die too. Timmy ends up in a bad way, so Tabitha yells for Eve. Eve checks Timmy and says there is nothing they can do for Timmy, he is going to die. Tabitha promises Timmy anything if he stays with her, and she even says she'll get rid of fluffy! She tells him to use every once of strength he has to fight this, but Timmy says he just can't. Timmy asks Tabitha to take care of Toto for him, but she says she doesn't want his dog, she wants him. Tabitha decides to call upon the forces of the darkside since God didn't listen to her. She casts a spell, but it has no effect. Timmy ends up having breathing problems, and a nurse gives him an injection to help him. The nurse says this will only help for a few minutes, Timmy doesn't have much longer. Tabitha asks how she will know? The nurse points to one of the monitors and says when that light goes out she will know. As Charity dies in the other room, Timmy begins to fade away too. Timmy dies, and Tabitha mourns her little boy.

At the pool, Luis promises Sheridan that he will never let her go. Suddenly, Sheridan begins having memories of Brian and Liz. She tells Luis that she remembers who she has been with this whole time! She says she was with a couple, a man and a woman, and they were on an island and a boat. Luis says that makes sense. Sheridan can't recall their names, but Luis says it will come back to her in time. Luis thinks her purse may hold some clues, so they decide to head back to the cottage and look at it. They return to the cottage, and Sheridan begins remembering more about Brian, including making love to him and becoming his fiance. She remembers that his name is Brian, and she was going by Diana! Meanwhile, Luis does research and finds out that Sheridan must have been on the same flight as Brian and his girlfriend Diana. Sheridan comes to see Luis, and doesn't know how she is going to tell him what she remembers. Before she can tell him, Luis gets instant messaged by Beth, who is planning their wedding. Luis realizes he has to break the news to Beth, and says he will be right over to her place. Luis tells Sheridan he has to take care of something, but he will be right back. Outside, Brian arrives at the cottage!

Meanwhile, Beth plans her wedding to Luis as her mother tells her that this wedding will never happen. Her mother tells her that she has been praying for Sheridan to come back from the dead, but Beth says nothing will bring Sheridan back. Beth's mother once again prays for Sheridan to come back and for Beth not to marry Luis.

At the hospital, Eve stabilizes Charity after she has been taken off life support. Miguel begs her not to leave her. Eve tells the family that when it is time for Charity to go, she will go in peace. Miguel says no, he won't let Charity die! Suddenly, Charity wakes up and asks where she is. Miguel says she is in the hospital. Charity realizes she is dying, she tells Miguel that she can feel it. Eve tells Charity she was very badly hurt. Charity tells Miguel not to cry. Miguel says he loves her so much and doesn't want to lose her. Charity says she will always be in his heart. Charity also thanks her aunt Grace for taking care of her. She also asks to talk with Kay.

Kay speaks with Father Lonigan in private, and she says she needs to make a confession. Father Lonigan knows she has embraced evil once again to seduce Miguel, and if she had never cast the spell to freeze Charity none of this would have happened. Kay says she never meant it to get this out of control. Father Lonigan tells her to look at the damage she and her evil have caused. Sam shows up and tells Kay that Charity is awake and wants to see her.

Kay goes to see Charity, who asks Kay to look after Miguel and take care of him. Kay promises Charity that she will. Later, Simone tells Kay that she heard what Charity said, and it makes her sick! Kay is in shock that Charity seems to know nothing about how she ended up in ice. Kay goes back to Father Lonigan and asks for absolution, but he says he cannot absolve her of her sins this time. He says he cannot grant her absolution until she promises not to go after Miguel again, and tell Miguel the truth but she says can't do that.

Back in Charity's room, Charity tells Miguel that she wants her to find love again, and she begins to slip away.

In Charity's room, Charity tells Miguel that she's so sorry. He says he will never love anyone again, but she makes him promise to fall in love again. Miguel thinks about making love to Kay, and he tells Charity that he wants her to know he'd never intentionally hurt her. Charity says she knows that, and she loves him. Miguel talks to Eve, and she says even though Charity is awake and talking, she will still die. Miguel continues to talk to Charity. Suddenly, Charity flatlines, and Eve declares Charity dead. Kay watches and says she will spend the rest of her life making Miguel happy. Simone tells Kay that her schemes won't work, Miguel loves Charity now more than he ever has. Kay says she will make Miguel happy, she will make sure Miguel moves on with her. Simone tells Kay that she is more despicable than she thought. Suddenly, a nurse comes forward to Eve with something about the two patients she just lost. Eve says this changes everything. Eve says they have to hurry because they don't have much time.

Tabitha vows to make everyone pay for little Timmy's death. Tabitha goes outside and continues to cry for Timmy. She looks at his gloves, and curses all the people who took Timmy away from her, and she curses goodness.

At the cottage, Sheridan remembers she was going to marry the man from her memories, but she wishes she could remember his name. She eventually remembers that she was going by the name Diana, and he was Brian. SHe then wonders how she will break this news to Luis. Meanwhile, Luis is instant messaged by Beth and realizes he has to break the news to her that Sheridan is back in town. He tells Beth he will be right over because they must talk. He tells SHeridan that he has something to do, but he'll be back soon. As they kiss goodbye, Brian shows up to look for Diana. Brian walks in, and barely misses Luis. Brian asks her why she is here and not at the hotel. Sheridan tells him that this cottage is hers. Sheridan tells Brian that she knows who she is, she is Sheridan Crane. Brian asks her when she realized it? She says when she got home. He sees she still has her washer, so she must not have forgotten her love for him. She says she just remembered him a few minutes ago. She explains that when she first remembered who she was, she couldn't recall where she had been the past year. Brian says he was afraid when she got her memory back she wouldn't love him anymore. Sheridan asks what about him, can he still love a Crane? Brian tells her that he can, because she is beautiful and not like the rest of the Cranes. He swears that no one or nothing will ever come between them. He asks her how she got her memory back, and she says it was someone who triggered it. Brian thinks it must have been his mother, and he says she works her. Sheridan doesn't know anyone who works here by the name of O'Leary, but Brian says that is just a name he took. Brian says his mother is Pilar, and she realizes that he is Antonio.

At Beth's place, Beth's mother tells her that she is a horrible girl and that is why she has been praying for Sheridan to come back from the dead and back to Harmony. Later, beth tells her mom that Luis is coming over and she is not to talk about Sheridan coming back from the dead because it will only upset him. Luis shows up, and Beth begins rambling on and on about the wedding. Luis finally stops her and says there is something they need to talk about. Beth says if it is anything but good news then he should tell her after the wedding. Luis tells her that this can't wait. Beth begins to become frightened, so Luis tells her like it is. He says that Sheridan is alive and has come back to Harmony. Beth's spying mom cheers to herself as Beth's world begins to fall apart. Beth tells Luis she knows this must make him happy, and he thanks her for saying that. Luis tells her that he admires her for taking this so well, especially since what it means for them. Luis says now that Sheridan is back, but Beth stops him. She tells him not to say it, she's not stupid, she understands what this means.

At the cottage, Sheridan realizes that Brian is really Luis’ brother. He says yes, and asks if she knows Luis? Sheridan says she knows his entire family, Pilar practically raised her. Brian says that must be why he loves her so much, because she reminds him of his mother (EWWWWWWWW!) Brian remembers her when they were little and lived in this cottage, and he says they must be destined to be together. Brian tells Sheridan that he still wants to marry her, and nothing has changed. She tells Brian that so much has changed! She says she and her family do not get along, and they will not be happy to know what is going on. She realizes she danced with Luis in Bermuda, and that is how she knew the tango when she danced with him. Sheridan tells Brian they have a lot to talk about, but Brian says they talk later. Brian says he wants to find his family, especially his brother, and make piece with him. Sheridan stops Brian and tells him that he just can’t! Brain asks why he can’t find his brother? She says they really need to talk, so he says they’ll do that right now. He says he’ll go find some wine, and they’ll talk. Once Brian leaves, Sheridan calls Luis, but he’s not answering his phone because it’s in the bedroom! Sheridan ends up taking off to find Luis before he finds and kills his brother!

Luis ends up returning to the cottage before Sheridan returns, and ends up running into Antonio! Luis is furious and decks him! Luis lays into Antonio for not coming back to Harmony when they needed him, but Brian says he doesn’t know the whole story. Luis says he won’t let him treat their family like garbage, and decks him again. Meanwhile, Sheridan wonders if she could have missed seeing Luis return, and heads to the cottage and finds Luis and Brian going at it!

At the hospital, Simone yells at Kay for acting like she really cares, but Kay says she didn’t want to kill Charity; she just wanted her away for awhile. Simone tells Kay that her plan backfired; he loves Charity more now than he ever has. Kay says she will be there to comfort Miguel. Simone tells Kay that she is more despicable than she ever thought, but Kay says what is done is done and Miguel will have to move on eventually.

Meanwhile, a nurse points something out to Eve about the two patients she just lost, and Eve says this changes everything, but they must move quickly. Eve revives Charity and everyone is shocked as to why she is doing this? Eve tells them that she just found out that Timmy can be a heart donor for Charity. She says up until Charity died there were no matches, but then Timmy died and he was a match.

Tabitha sits on a bench outside the hospital and curses all of Harmony and goodness for taking Timmy from her. Tabitha realizes if Timmy died, then Charity has died to, and that she will get her powers back! She demands her powers be returned, and she is zapped by lightening and given her powers back. Tabitha says she is back with a vengeance! Tabitha returns to the hospital, and learns that Tabitha signed a consent for in her grief stricken mood which is allowing them to transplant Timmy’s heart into Charity. She says she won’t allow this, and tells herself that she can’t allow Charity to live! Tabitha says she will avenge Timmy;s death, she will not allow this, and conjures up a storm to knock out the electricity so they can’t do the operation!

Back in the hospital, the electricity goes out, taking Charity’s life support with it! Eve says Charity’s life support doesn’t have battery backup! She performs CPR to keep Charity alive, and yells that they need to do something or Charity won’t last. Miguel wonders how God could allow this to happen, but Simone knows it is Kay’s evil that is killing Charity.

At the Russell’s, Whitney and Chad make love again. Chad tells her that he is going to make sure nothing keeps them apart now that they are together. Later they go downstairs to get some food, and Whitney tells Chad that this is the most wonderful night of her life.

At the mansion, Gwen tells Ethan that it is getting late, and she has a busy day tomorrow. Ethan tells Theresa that he and Gwen need to go to bed, but this causes the baby to fuss. The maid suggests the baby is given a bath, but Theresa says she’s just too tired to do it. Ethan says he’ll be happy to give the baby a bath. Theresa asks the maid to bring them some tea while they wait for Ethan and Ethan Jr. Gwen asks her mom how she’s going to get rid of Mother Theresa? Rebecca tells Gwen to drug her! Rebecca says they do it to dangerous animals all the time, and she certainly is dangerous when she’s on the prowl for Ethan. Rebecca admires Theresa for her determination, and tells Gwen she has to fight this with drugs. Gwen isn’t sure, but agrees to it. Rebecca produces some pills out of her bra, and Gwen is shocked that her mother is a walking pharmacy!

At the mansion, Ethan and Theresa give baby Ethan a bath while Gwen agrees to drug Theresa using her mother’s pharmacy. Phyllis, the maid, brings tea for Theresa and company, and then leaves. However, she returns to plump Theresa’s pillow, and catches Gwen and Rebecca drugging Theresa’s tea. Phyllis tells Theresa what Gwen and Rebecca have done, and Theresa tells her that there will be a bonus in her next paycheck! Ethan puts the baby down, and Rebecca suggests they all have some tea! Theresa manages to switch the tea when Phyllis fakes a fall, and Rebecca ends up drinking the drugged tea!

At the cottage, Sheridan hears Luis and Brian going at it, and rushes in to stop them. She yells at them to stop fighting right now, they have trashed her house! She says she never thought she’d see the day when the man she loved acted like a total idiot. They try to explain why they were fighting, and end up arguing once again! Sheridan realizes when they learn the truth about her engagement to both of them, they will kill each other for sure! Brian tells Luis that he knows why he is mad, he’s already talked to mama. Brian says he never got the note he left for him, but Luis doesn’t believe him. Brian says he wants to be part of this family again, and if he got the note then he would have been here sooner. Sheridan remembers when Luis suddenly left in Bermuda, and she tells Luis that Antonio didn’t know. Luis asks how she knows? Sheridan says it is just obvious that he is telling the truth. Brian says he never got it, and Luis settles down. Brian says he is sorry for any mix-up that went on, and he is home to stay and was hoping they could start over. Brian says he feels responsible for the bad things that happened to Theresa, if he was here he could have helped her. Luis says she always looked up to him, he could have helped her. Brian says he is here to stay, and they should try to get along. Luis and Brian shake hands, but Sheridan knows this isn’t going to last. Sheridan tries to tell them the truth, but she never gets the chance. Brian and Luis both agree to be best men at each other’s weddings, and hug. Luis and Brian then decide to have a double wedding instead! Sheridan says this is just too much for her to think about right now. Sheridan then notices that Brian’s nose is bleeding, so he says he’ll go take care of it and be right back. Brian gives her a kiss and leave, and Luis says he’s going to punch his brother for doing that! Sheridan tells him not to, and he asks what is going on here?

At the Russell’s, Whitney and Chad are happy and in love. They come down to the kitchen for breakfast, and Chad promises her that there is a lot more lovin to come. As they kiss, Whitney ends up seeing a picture of Simone on the fridge. This upsets Whitney, who fears Simone might learn about the two of them before they can tell her. Chad says that is why they have to tell Simone themselves as soon as they can. Whitney is just afraid how she will react, because Simone’s temper is just about as bad as daddy’s. Chad then tells Whitney to forget about Simone, and he runs and gets a surprise for her. Suddenly, Simone shows up and says she has huge news. Whitney says she does too, so Simone tells her to go first because her news is bigger than anything she can have. As Whitney tries to tell Simone the truth, Chad shows up with a bouquet of flowers. Simone thinks they are for her and grabs them! She says she can’t wait to read the message he wrote on this card. She reads the card, and is shocked. Simone doesn’t understand why he waited so long to tell her. Whitney says this is all her fault! Simone asks why this is her fault? Whitney says she just wanted Chad to wait, and Simone thinks that Whitney just didn’t want Chad to say I love you before her 18th birthday because of mom and dad. Simone tells Chad that she loves him to, and gives him a kiss.
