At the Lopez-Fitzgerald house, Pilar asks Theresa how she could agree to be Gwen's maid of honor? She says that her heart will be broken at that alter for everyone to see. Pilar pleads with Theresa to drop out of the wedding, but Theresa refuses. She says that something is telling her to stay close to Ethan, and that he won't break her heart. She says she knows now that she has loved Ethan her entire life, and he loved her to in that photograph. Pilar says they were only children, but Theresa is positive that Ethan loves her just as much as she loves him. Whitney shows up, and Pilar hopes that WHitney can talk some sense into Theresa. Whitney asks Theresa what she thinks will happen when she has to stand there and listen to Ethan say his vows to Gwen? Theresa says she doesn't know . . . Pilar tells Theresa not to plan anything suspicious, because Rebecca will be watching her like a hawk! Theresa daydreams about the wedding, and when Ethan is asked if he takes Gwen, he says no. Hallelujah begins playing, and Rebecca calls Theresa gold digger and refuses to allow her to get away with this! As Theresa and Rebecca fight, Theresa snaps to and smiles. Whitney tells Theresa that her dreams will never come true, but Theresa says a voice is telling her not to give up. Whitney says that voice is Chad Harris, and she is furious with him for encouraging her to live in this fantasy world. Theresa says Chad just told her what was in her heart. Whitney says Chad Harris knows nothing about love, he is wrong about her (Theresa) and he is wrong about her (Whitney) as well. Theresa asks what she means? Whitney says she is not in love with Chad, and Ethan is not in love with her, end of discussion. Theresa shows Whitney the picture again and says that they are in love in this picture, but Whitney says they were only kids. Still, Theresa knows Ethan still loves her, and that something big is going to happen.
Ethan and Gwen go back to the mansion, and Gwen teases Ethan about how Theresa obviously had a crush on him when she was younger. Ethan says they were just kids. Gwen says she is not jealous, and she thinks it is cute. She says that she knows Theresa doesn't have a crush on him now. Rebecca walks into the room and says that Theresa is absolutely in love with Ethan. She then asks Ethan if she isn't right? Gwen tells her mother to stop this right now, they are under enough pressure as is. Ethan says he has to leave and wait for a business call. Gwen and Rebecca argue. Gwen talks to her mom how she is in a good mood right now with the wedding so close, and she doesn't want her mom to ruin it. Rebecca says, speaking of the wedding, that she spoke with Bailey's mom, and Bailey has the measles. Rebecca thinks that Gwen should ask Alison Bradville to be her maid of honor, but Gwen says she has already found a replacement, Theresa! Rebecca asks Gwen if she has lost her mind? She tells her why she doesn't serve Ethan to the little gold digger on a platter! Gwen tells her mom to calm down, she is completely sane. Gwen says she trusts Theresa and has no reason to believe she is a threat. Rebecca tells her that she is no naive, she has put Theresa up there at the alter next to Ethan! Meanwhile, Ethan finishes his phone call, and then thinks about the picture of him and Theresa. He returns to the living room, and Gwen asks Ethan if she should have any reason to be threatened by him and Theresa? Ethan asks what kind of question that is? Ethan tells Gwen that he loves her, she is the one he's going to marry. Gwen tells her mother that is all she needed to hear, and she thinks she will take her mom home now so they don't bicker all night. Rebecca tells Gwen that she is a fool, she just hopes her foolishness doesn't cost her Ethan! After they leave, Ethan decides to call Theresa. However, he realizes he needs to talk to her in person, so he heads over to her house.
At the Lopez-Fitzgerald house, Theresa is asleep in her bed when Ethan knocks on the window. She doesn't wake up, so he opens her window and climbs in! Theresa asks Ethan what he's doing here? Ethan says he just realized she is the woman he loves and he can't live without her. However, it was only a dream. Theresa wakes up and Ethan is sitting by her bed. Theresa says she'd knew he'd come for her, sits up, and kisses him! Meanwhile, Gwen and Rebecca walk home, but Rebecca continues to tell Gwen that she sees disaster looming. Rebecca warns Gwen that if she continues to close her eyes to the facts then Theresa will get Ethan.
At the Bennetts, Les tells Hank that he can either set Sheridan up to be killed, or he will kill his nieces. Hank agrees to set up Sheridan, which pleases Les. Les tells him that he's doing the smart thing, he will pay off his debt, his hands will be clean, and then he can move on with his life. Hank threatens to tell Sam everything, but Les doubts that because Hank isn't that dumb. Besides, Les says his friends wouldn't let him get to Sam. Hank says that he will have to kill him to stop him, he won't let him kill Sheridan or his nieces. Les wonders why he'd pick a broad, who is in love with his best friend, over his family? Les says he is doing him a favor, he no longer has to shoot Sheridan. Hank says he'd still feel guilty. Suddenly, Kay yells to her uncle and walks out the door. Les and his buddies hide, and Kay says she and Simone are going into town to get sodas. Hank tries to persuade them not to leave, but they say they will be fine, and take off. Les returns and tells Hank that his nieces will be safe as long as he does what he's told. Hank asks him what he wants him to do? Les tells him to bring Sheridan to the wharf where he can shoot her. Hank says Luis is guarding Sheridan, he won't let her out of his site. Les tells Hank to get Luis to leave for awhile, offer to take over. He says that Luis trusts him, so he won't have a problem leaving Sheridan with him.
At the wharf, Simone and Kay find Chad on the ground. Simone says there is blood all over his shirt, and Kay says he's not breathing. Kay says this is not good, Chad might be dead! Simone says he is not dead! Chad comes to, and Kay tells him that they need to get him to the hospital. Chad refuses because he says he has no insurance. Simone says her mom will take care of it, but Chad refuses to accept charity. Chad says he just needs to get home and he will be fine. Kay says they have to take him somewhere, but where? Simone says they can take him to her house and her mom can look at them.
At the Russell's, Kay and Simone carry Chad into Simone's bedroom. Kay tells Simone that she is so lucky, she's going to have Chad in her bed! In Simone's room, Chad wakes up breaks out and starts hobbling through the hall. He ends up walking into Whitney's room, and she is shocked to see him. Chad is delirious and thinks he lives here and wonders what she is doing here. Whitney says this is her house and her room! Suddenly, Chad falls on top of Whitney, and the two of them fall onto the bed!
At the cottage, Luis and Sheridan continue their dance lessons, which bring them very close. Suddenly, Luis and Sheridan kiss one another! Luis eventually pulls away, but Sheridan doesn't seem to want to stop. She tells him that sometimes people do get caught up in the heat of the dance, and they were looking at those romantic slides earlier. Luis laughs and says that must have been what happened. Sheridan says they should continue the dance lesson. However, Luis turns the music off and says he can't do this, which upsets Sheridan. Sheridan asks if this is because they kissed? Luis says it is not that he doesn't want her to teach him, but he is here to protect her, and he doesn't know how well he can do that if he crosses the line with her. He says it would be dangerous and unprofessional, and he needs to focus 100 percent on his job. Sheridan says if that is what he wants, fine. Sheridan asks if he is hungry and offers to make him a sandwich. Luis says no thank you, but maybe later. Later, Sheridan whines that she's tired of being cooped up and she wants to go out. Luis says no way, it is too dangerous. Sheridan says they don't have to leave the grounds, but Luis says even the Crane Estate is not safe. Luis says he won't feel safe unless she is in here with him or Hank. Like clockwork, Hank shows up, and offers to watch Sheridan for Luis if he wants to take a break. Luis refuses, but Sheridan tells him to go and take a break. Luis agrees to go for a bit, but only because he knows Sheridan will be safe with his best buddy. After Luis leaves, Sheridan asks Hank if they can go out? He asks her where, and she says she'd love to go down to the wharf. Hank says okay, so they leave.
Down at the wharf, Les waits for Hank to deliver Sheridan to him so he can inform Pierre and Roger that Sheridan Crane is dead.
Luis goes to the station to finish up some paperwork. Sam asks why he's not with Sheridan? Luis says Hank is watching her. He then asks Sam why he is shredding Ethan's file? Sam says that he was doing some research on Ethan just in case he tried to have him fired, but there is nothing in Ethan's past that interests him. Sam and Luis then discuss the Cranes. Luis says Sheridan is stubborn, but different than the other Cranes. He then asks what about Ivy, she's only a Crane by marriage. Sam says if Ivy hadn't married Julian she might be a very different person, but being married to Julian for all those years has turned her into a true Crane. Sam asks Luis if he could forget that SHeridan was a Crane, could he see himself with her? Luis says he has thought about the idea, what their life together might be life. He says it is great, but it is just a dream. He says she is still a Crane, and he can't shut his eyes to who she is. Sam says he hears him. Luis says if she wasn't a Crane, he would run after her and wouldn't let her go, but she is a Crane and always will be.
Luis goes back to the cottage and can't find a trace of Sheridan or Hank anywhere. He begins to worry and runs out of the cottage shouting their names.
At the Wharf, Les is pleased that Hank has brought Sheridan. Sheridan is cold, so Hank gives her his jacket. She worries about Luis finding out they left the cottage, so Hank gives her a little kiss on the cheek and tells her to forget about Luis. Sheridan starts talking about what a wonderful night it is, and how wonderful it is to be alive. She then sees the look on Hank's face and asks him what is wrong? She asks him why he is acting this way? Hank is standing a ways away from Sheridan, and unbeknownst to her, Les has a direct shot at her!
Ivy is out walking in the park thinking of Sam and missing him. She sits down on a bench and remembers talking to Sam about their special note rock, and showing him an old note he wrote her. Ivy tells herself that she thought telling Sam would about Ethan reunite her with her old love, but instead it almost destroyed Ethan's future. She says Ethan's future is safe, but hers is as hopeless as ever. She says there must be another way to bring him into his life. Gwen and Rebecca are also in the park, and are still bickering about Theresa. Rebecca tells Gwen that Theresa is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Rebecca and Gwen run into Ivy, and Gwen tells Ivy about how Theresa is filling in as her maid of honor. Ivy thinks that is nice, but Rebecca says that girl is after Ethan! Ivy says that she trusts Theresa completely. Rebecca tells Ivy that she is as naive as Gwen, and that the housekeeper's daughter wants Ethan all to herself. Gwen tells her mom to just drop it, and then realizes she has to go talk to Theresa about her hairstyle for the wedding. Gwen walks off, and Rebecca tells Ivy that she won't let her maid's daughter ruin her daughter's wedding. Later, Rebecca tells Ivy that she remembers one summer she was home in Harmony and had a fling with a local boy from Harmony High. Ivy says she is shocked, but Rebecca says all the girls from the school did it with local boys. Ivy asks Rebecca if she ever saw him again? She says no, and she doesn't think she'd be able to resist him if she did. Ivy then asks Rebecca if she could see him, would she consider having a long term affair if no one got hurt? Rebecca asks her if she is speaking from experience? Ivy says of course not, Julian would divorce her in a second if he learned she was having an affair. Rebecca says that her husband is the same way. Rebecca then says, speaking of studs, check out the hunk across the way! Ivy looks at the hunk, who turns out to be Sam! Ivy wonders if Sam has changed his mind about her and is going to leave her a note. Rebecca tells Ivy not to drool over him, she hears he is happily married with three children and a niece. Sam leaves Ivy a note, which sends Ivy's heart soaring. Rebecca tells Ivy "Really, what would Ethan think if he saw you staring at some Beefcake Bennett!" Rebecca sees Sam leaving a note, and thinks Sam might be having a fling! Rebecca says she has to get her hands on that note and find out who he is having an affair with, maybe it is someone she knows!
At the Lopez-Fitzgerald's house, Theresa kisses Ethan, but he eventually pulls away. She asks him if he came here to tell her that he loves her? Ethan says that is why he is here. Ethan tells Theresa that he does love her, but as a friend. Theresa asks him why he came here to tell her something he knows she doesn't want to hear! Ethan says it is important she hear how he feels, and he can't marry Gwen with her standing next to him dying inside. Ethan thinks this is all his fault, and that she wouldn't have a crush on him if he hadn't kissed her at the wharf. Theresa tells Ethan that he couldn't be more wrong, and the picture of them as children proves what she feels is more than a crush. She shows him the picture and tells him that is love, she has loved him since then and has never stopped. Theresa also says that he cared enough about her to give her a present, and that this picture proves they were meant to be together. Ethan tells Theresa that she is wrong, she is seeing something that isn't there. Theresa tells Ethan that she can see the love between them in this photo just like she can see the love between them now. Theresa tells Ethan that she loves everything about him, especially how he looks at her with love in his eyes. Ethan says it is love, but not romantic love. He tells her that she should drop out the wedding and go on a trip. He tells her to forget about the wedding and forget about him. Theresa says she can't do that because she loves him! Theresa asks Ethan to kiss her and see if it is her that she loves. As Ethan is about to kiss her, Gwen walks into the house! Nobody answered the door, so she walks in. She figures that Theresa must be asleep, and she doesn't want to wake her, but she is already here, and there is so much to do before the wedding. Gwen knocks on Theresa's bedroom door, and Ethan freaks out. He hides in her bedroom while Theresa goes to deal with Gwen. Gwen apologizes for coming by so late, but says they need to talk about her hairstyle for the wedding. Gwen has a book of hairstyles and wants to see what would be right for her dress. Gwen asks where the sketches of the dresses are? Theresa says they are in her room, and Gwen asks if they can go take a look? They go into her room, and Ethan hides in the closet. They discuss the hairstyles, and the wedding, and Gwen thinks it will be smooth sailing from here on out. Theresa hints to Gwen not to be surprised if something does go wrong between now and the wedding because something bad is bound to happen. Gwen eventually leaves, and finds Ethan hanging outside Theresa's house. Theresa sees Ethan get caught, and thinks Gwen is finally going to learn the truth!
At the Russell's, TC tells Eve that he feels sorry for Sam and would go crazy if there was a threat to his family's happiness. Eve says she knows what he means. TC asks her if she is still upset about Chad? Eve says that she knows Chad saved Whitney's life twice, but he seems way to familiar with her. TC tells her not to worry, and they should go up and say goodnight to their two perfect daughters.
Upstairs, while Kay and Simone argue about CHad and Whitney, Chad collapses on top of Whitney in her room, and they tumble onto the bed! Whitney asks him if he is on drugs? Chad says he is not on drugs, he is on her! Meanwhile, Simone and Kay approach Eve and TC and tell them that Chad is here. Suddenly, Whitney screams! They all run into her room and find Whitney on Chad. TC grabs Chad and threatens to kill him for forcing himself on his daughter. Simone screams no and that Chad is hurt. Eve asks what this is about Chad being hurt? Whitney says he's bleeding, and that is why he fell on her. Eve tells everyone to get out of the room while she examines him. While she examines them, Whitney feels bad that she didn't realize Chad was hurt. She says she went to his apartment to check on him, but he said he was fine. Kay asks how she knew where Chad lived, unless she's been to his place before. TC asks Whitney if she has been to Chad's place before? Whitney says she has. Eve, who has shown up, demands and explanation. Whitney says when she was at the hospital visiting him Jessica asked her to go to his place and get Chad some clothes. Whitney says it was the least she could do for him. TC says she did the right thing, and Eve agrees. Eve also agrees to let Chad stay here because if they take him to the hospital he will just leave. Later, Eve catches Whitney trembling, and she wonders if it is because she's worried about Chad. She then shows the picture from the wedding planner to Whitney and asks her to tell her the truth, how does she feel about Chad? Whitney says the only thing she feels for Chad is gratitude. Eve is relieved and says she hopes she doesn't give Chad the wrong impression. Whitney says the only thing she has time for is tennis, she will have time for boys later. Simone shows up in a very seductive top, and Eve orders her to put on something more decent! Eve is onto Simone's games and says they will talk about the reason she wanted Chad to stay here after she changes her top. Eve thinks letting Chad stay with them is a mistake, but Whitney says she doesn't see why. Whitney says the wedding planner and the Crane cabin is why, there is obviously some familiarity between her and Chad which makes her feel uneasy. Whitney tells her mom to trust her, Chad is the last guy on earth she would ever get involved with. Eve says she will trust her, she just doesn't want her to do anything that would cost her her future. Whitney says she won't, so Eve says Chad can stay.
At the park, Rebecca and Ivy see Sam leaving a note under the rock. Rebecca thinks he is leaving it for someone he must be having an affair with, and she has to find out who it is! She says she must get that note! Sam hears something and asks who is there? He asks Ivy if that is her? Ivy approaches Sam and claims she was out for a walk. Sam gets a call about the shooting and runs off. Rebecca then runs for the note to find out who Sam's mistress is. Ivy tells Rebecca that this isn't right. Rebecca tells her "who said anything about right, this is fun!" Rebecca says that she seems to lost her sense of adventure, and if she didn't know better, she'd say she is hiding something. Ivy says she is just preoccupied with the wedding. Rebecca promises that this will only take a minute. Rebecca reads the note, in which Sam tells a woman to back off, but Rebecca claims there is no name. Rebecca then tells Ivy that she should give it a shot and go for Sam, he could be all his. Ivy asks her what she is talking about? Rebecca says that Sam was giving her a look when he spoke to her earlier. Rebecca laughs and says there was no look, and if there was it would do no good because she's married to Julian. Rebecca says yes, she'd never risk Julian leaving her penniless.
At the Lopez-Fitzgerald house, Theresa watches as Gwen catches Ethan. Pilar joins her and wonders what is going on? Theresa explains what is going on, and how she thinks Gwen is about to call off the wedding. Gwen asks Ethan what he is doing out here and why was he coming around the side of the house? She asks if he parked over there, and if he came here to pick her up? Gwen tells Ethan that she loves him and loves that he wants to be with her so much. She then realizes she never told Ethan she was coming here, and asks how he knew she'd be here? Inside, Pilar tells Theresa that she will not let her ruin Ethan's wedding to Gwen, but Theresa thinks it is time for the truth to come out! Gwen tells Ethan that she wants an answer. She says her mother thinks Theresa is trying to steal him away from her, but she trusts Theresa. However finding him here makes him uneasy, and she asks if he is hiding something from her? Pilar goes outside and tells Gwen that she has misunderstood, she told Ethan that she was here. Gwen apologizes to Ethan and blames it on jitters and her mom. Ethan thanks Pilar and says he owes her one. After Ethan and Gwen leave, Theresa asks her mom why she's trying to destroy her future? Pilar says she is trying to protect her, the Cranes will destroy her if she ruins this wedding!
Gwen and Ethan return to the mansion. Gwen says she should be exhausted, but she is so awake and alive and it is all because of him. Ethan tells Gwen that he loves her and wants to marry her. He says he has been thinking about how wonderful their lives are going to be together. Gwen tells Ethan that he keeps saying that over and over, almost like a mantra. However, she stops herself and says she isn't going to go looking for trouble because she knows there isn't any. Julian shows up and asks if they have seen Ivy? Gwen says she was taking a walk in the park, and Julian says that is good. Ethan and Gwen leave to do some planning, and Julian breaks into Ivy's room to search for the case. Ivy shows up and tells Julian to get out of her room, but he refuses to leave until he finds what he is looking for. Ivy tells Julian that there is nothing in this room that could interest him, but Julian says he is looking for her attache case. He wants to know why she has been hiding it all these years! Ivy says she has no idea what papers he is talking about. Julian eventually leaves, and Ivy calls Pilar to makes sure the papers are in a very safe place. A spying Julian realizes that Suzanne was right!
Meanwhile, after making love to Gwen, Ethan falls asleep and dreams of marrying Theresa! Theresa tells Ethan that he is dreaming of her because she is the woman he wants to marry. As they kiss, Ethan's parents, Gwen, and Rebecca circle him chanting that he belongs to them because he is a Crane! Theresa suddenly vanishes, and everyone tells Ethan that he must marry Gwen! Ethan starts saying "I can't do it, I can't I can't!" Gwen asks Ethan what can't he do? Gwen wakes him up and asks him what he was dreaming about? Ethan just grabs Gwen and tells her that he loves her so much.
Back at the Lopez-Fitzgeralds, Theresa decides to go over and see Whitney, and she finds her mom with the case. She asks her mom why she is so nervous about those papers? Pilar tells her that is none of her concern, but Theresa being Theresa asks why Mrs. Crane asked her to keep them here? Pilar tells her to forget they exist. Theresa says they do exist, and she wishes that Ethan wasn't a Crane, but Pilar says he is, end of discussion. Later, Theresa asks God for a miracle because she knows Ethan and her are meant to be together, and she also knows that Ethan is thinking of her right now.
At the Russell's, Eve explains to Simone, Kay (new Kay alert!), and Whitney that Chad's incision opened, probably when he saved Whitney in the water, and he really should go back to the hospital, but he has refused. Simone says that he can't afford it, and Whitney says he doesn't want to take charity. Eve says what's done is done, he's hear to stay. Simone is upset to learn that Chad will stay in Whitney's room. When Eve leaves, Kay tells Whitney that she wants Chad to stay in her room so she can sleep with him! Whitney says she would never hop into bed with someone, and sex without love is meaningless. Whitney says as far as Chad is concerned, she is only grateful to him. Still, Simone doesn't know why he can't stay in her room. Whitney says she heard mom, and he certainly isn't mobile! Eve returns with her medical bag to clean Chad's wound, but is called to the wharf because of another shooting. Eve asks Whitney to clean and dress Chad's wound for her. Kay whispers to Simone that Whitney can't wait to get Chad's clothes off, and she can't let this happen! Simone says she knows how to wash out a wound too, but Eve says Whitney has more experience and she orders Simone and Kay to stay out of Whitney's room. Kay and Simone march out of the room, and Whitney undresses Chad. Chad is delirious with a fever and is reliving the prom boat disaster. Whitney tells him it is okay and to just sleep. Kay watches and tells Simone that Whitney is holding Chad's hand and stroking his face. Simone looks in and is outraged. Kay assures Simone that Whitney planned this entire thing so she could take care of Chad, so she should go in there and stop her! Kay and Simone walk in, and Whitney tells them to leave. Simone says she just wanted to know if she needed ice? Whitney says no, and asks them to leave once again. Kay accuses Whitney of trying to get chad "hot," which angers Whitney. Whitney and Kay start arguing, and Whitney wonders where her mean streak comes from because her parents are angels. She then tells them to get out before she throws them out, and they are to stay out! Theresa shows up and learns that Whitney is in her room with Chad, who Kay calls Whitney's boyfriend. Theresa goes in and tells Whitney that she moves fast! Whitney explains what is really going on to Theresa. However, Theresa sees this as Whitney's golden opportunity to fall in love with Chad, her hero, who she is nursing back to health. Whitney says this is not a romance novel! She asks Theresa to stay with Chad while she goes to get some gauze. Chad talks to Theresa and tells her to fight for Ethan. Theresa says she has not given up, and then she urges Chad to tell the girl he loves how he feels. Later, when Theresa leaves, Simone comes in. Chad looks at her and sees Whitney, and he tells her that he loves her! Simone begins to cry tears of joy. Theresa goes to the kitchen and tells Whitney that she is in for a big surprise when she returns to Chad because she told him to tell the girl he is crazy about that he loves her. Whitney tells Theresa to stop playing matchmaker, and then asks why she's so happy tonight? Theresa tells Whitney about Ethan's trip into her room tonight. She knows that Ethan's love for her is finally getting to him, and that is why he came to see her.
At the cottage, Luis calls for a patrolman or squad car because Sheridan and Hank Bennett are gone! He says they need to be found because Sheridan could be in danger. Luis eventually gets the call about the shooting, and runs off.
At the wharf, Hank sees Les aiming his gun at Sheridan and is wracked with guilt. Sheridan asks Hank what is wrong, he looks nervous. She tells him not to be, the drug cartel is not after her anymore. Les fires his gun, and Hank leaps in front of Sheridan. They both end up going down on the wharf. Sherdian comes too and realizes Hank has been shot. She screams for help, and some geeky guy shows up and says he called for help and an ambulance will be here soon. Hank moans, and Sheridan is glad he is okay. He tells her to get out of here because she is in danger. Les is furious, calls Hank a double-crosser, and aims his gun at Sheridan's back. Sheridan refuses to leave Hank, and Luis shows up before Les can shoot Sheridan. Hank tells Luis not to worry about him and to just get Sheridan out of here! Sam shows up with more officers, and Les finally takes off. Sam asks Hank if he has any idea who the shooter was, and Hank moans no. Sheridan says the bullet was meant for her, and this is all her fault. Luis exclaims "your damn right it is!" Sam tells Hank that he did good, he risked his life to save Sheridan's. That makes Hank feel even more guilty. Meanwhile, Luis scolds Sheridan for convincing Hank to take her out. He tells her that she is just like the other Cranes, other people's lives mean nothing to her! Luis really yells at Sheridan, accusing her of thinking this is some kind of game. Sam, who was examining Hank with Eve, lets out a "Thank God!" Sam says Hank is okay, it was just a flesh wound. Sheridan tells Hank that she is so sorry, and Hank says it is not her fault. He also tells Luis not to blame Sheridan for this. Luis says the important thing is to find out who did this. Hank tells Luis good luck, the bozo is probably long gone by now. Suddenly, another officer runs up and tells Sam that they have a lead on the shooter, which doesn't sit well with Hank. The officer says a night watchman saw the shooter leave the wharf and head to a warehouse. He describes the shooter, but Hank can't very the description, claiming he never got a good look at it. Luis decides to head over there, and Sheridan tells him to be careful because she couldn't bare it if he got hurt too. Later, Luis calls Sam and tells him that he has the shooter cornered in a warehouse on front street. Sam says he'll send him backup, but Sheridan hears the location and runs off to save Luis. In the warehouse, Les sneaks up behind Luis and aims his gun at him!
Miguel and Charity are out walking in the park. Charity tells Miguel that she loves him so much, but she feels something out there wants to keep them apart and cause them pain. Miguel tells her that she is being silly. Miguel then sees some mushrooms and decides to pick them and make a mushroom omelette. Charity shoves Miguel to the ground, and he asks her what she did that for? Charity tells him that he is going to die! Charity apologizes, but says she had to stop him from eating those mushrooms because they are poisonous. Miguel thanks her for saving his life, but she says he has saved hers many times. Miguel says someone is watching over them, and this day will only get better. Charity asks how it can get any better? Miguel says he has a gift for her, and gives her his grandmother's cross. He says his grandmother told him to give it to the girl of his dreams, and that is her. Charity gets a feeling that her aunt Grace needs them, so they head home.
Tabitha is busy searching the ancient tome for a way to drive Charity to kill Miguel. Timmy, in camouflage, shows up and tells Tabitha, aka Princess Sir!, that Charity is with Miguel making goo-goo eyes, and she doesn't seem to be wearing the pendant. Tabitha tells Soldier Timmy "at ease," and then says this is not good. She says if Charity isn't wearing that pendant then she can't be brought to the dark side, and they are finished! Timmy thinks she should give up trying to make Charity evil, but Tabitha says never! She asks Timmy if Grace was wearing the pendant, and he says no. Tabitha tells Timmy that they better just hope the pendant is doing it's work and will turn Charity evil, evil enough to kill Miguel. Timmy looks out the window and up at Charity's room, and sees the evil pendants glow. The pendant, which was hanging on a picture of Charity and Miguel, cracks the glass in the picture and then begins floating around. Tabitha tells Timmy that they must get over there and get that pendant! Timmy says he really doesn't want to do that. Suddenly, the demons in the basement roar, and Tabitha tells them that they are on their way!
At the Bennett's, Tabitha and Timmy show up to see Grace, who was chopping vegetables. Tabitha asks her what she is making? Grace says she's trying to make some quiche's for the B&B, and then she excuses herself to put some laundry in the dryer. After Grace leaves, Tabitha orders Timmy to go upstairs and find the pendant! Timmy doesn't have to go far, because the pendant floats downstairs and plops itself onto Timmy! Timmy becomes evil and starts screaming "Kill Fluffy!" Tabitha takes the pendant off of Timmy, who wonders what happened. Tabitha tells him it was the pendant! Suddenly, Charity and Miguel show up to help Grace, and Miguel learns that Grace is making mushroom quiche, his favorite. Tabitha tells Charity that she found her pendant on the counter, and asks if she doesn't like it? Charity says she loves it, but she's wearing Miguel's gift today. Tabitha stares at the cross, and this odd steam starts coming out of her eyes! Timmy shakes Tabitha, and she stops smoking. Charity smells smoke, and wonders what is burning? Grace checks her quiche, but it is fine. Tabitha tells Charity that the clasp on her cross looks very weak, so Charity takes it off to be on the safe side. Charity then puts on the pendant, because she feels she needs to for some reason, and then Charity offers to make Miguel a very special mushroom quiche. Grace tells Charity that the mushrooms are in the fridge. As she gets the mushrooms, the pendant glows, and Charity walks out the door. Tabitha and Timmy follow Charity to the park where she picks the poisonous mushrooms. Timmy wonders why she is picking them, and Charity, in an evil voice, says she's picking them to destroy goodness, to kill Miguel!
At the warehouse, Luis is searching for Les, who is behind him and has his gun aimed right at Luis' back. Les cock's his gun, which Luis hears, and he tells him to prepare to meet his maker. Suddenly, Sheridan shows up shouting Luis' name. Luis tells her to get out of here, but it is too late, she is grabbed from behind. Fortunately it is Luis who grabbed her, and not Les. He scolds her for coming here, and tells her to stop saying she is sorry because she is constantly playing with people's lives. Les shouts at Luis to come out so they can talk and be friends. He asks why he's so worried about protecting a Crane when he hates them so much. Luis says it is his job. Les says he knows people who will pay him a lot of money to quit his job. Luis says it isn't about the money, it is personal, he shot his best friend! Les laughs and says some best friend! Les asks if they want to know why Hank was here tonight? Just as Les is about to tell them the truth about Hank, Luis jumps him from behind, and the two fight. Les ends up holding a gun on Luis, and Luis tells Sheridan to go. However, Les says if Sheridan leaves, he will kills Sheridan. Suddenly, Sheridan pulls a gun on Les and tells him to let Luis go! Luis asks Sheridan to put the gun away and leave. Suddenly, Les grabs Luis and aims the gun right at Luis' head. Luis tells Sheridan to shoot him, but Sheridan cries that she could hit him! Luis tells her to do it!
Back on the docks, Eve continues dressing Hank's wound and he worries about Sheridan. Eve tells Hank that he's been a good friend to both Luis and Sheridan, but Hank says he has not. Eve says he has been a wonderful friend, and that she hopes her daughters meet a nice guy like him instead of a street kid, when the time is right. Hank asks, "You mean like Chad?" Hank thinks Chad is a nice guy, but Eve says she hasn't worked this hard and gone through what she has for one of her daughters to end up with Chad Harris. Suddenly, Eve and Hank hear another gun shot!
