At the Crane Mansion, Ivy calls the police to report her bird statue being stolen, but Julian grabs the phone from her and tells the officer that his wife has made a mistake. Ivy asks Julian what he thinks he's doing? Julian asks Ivy if she knows what this could do to their family? Ivy tells Julian to never snatch the phone out of her hand while she's speaking on it! Julian says he doesn't want a Luis Lopez- Fitzgerald snooping around this mansion. Ivy says he was only trying to report the loss of the bird statue that he's been trying to find. Ivy tells Julian that she had the bird statue in her hands, until Eve stole it from her! Julian says he hasn't the faintest idea what she is talking about. Ivy says she is talking about the proof inside the statue, the proof that he and Eve had an affair. She says when the media splashes it on the front page of the papers, Alastair will probably put Ethan ahead of him as next to inherit the Crane Empire. Julian tells Ivy to give it up, she'll never get anything on him!
Eve goes home with the bird, and soon Julian shows up. Eve tells him that her husband will be home at any moment, so he needs to leave! Julian says he knows she has the bird, and she shows it to him. Julian decides to kill the bird once and for all, and grabs a fire place poker and begins to beat the bird. However the bird won't open, and Julian is positive that Ivy couldn't have cracked this thing open if he couldn't. Eve asks what she should do with the statue? Julian tells her to incinerate it, though he would have loved to have seen those photos again so he could relive those old times. Suddenly, TC returns home through the back door. Julian sneaks out through the front door, and TC shows up right after he leaves. TC sees she has the bird statue and he says he knows how she tracked it down, and he's tired of her lying to him. Eve says she can explain. TC asks how much it cost her to buy it from the person who bought it from the bum? Eve says it didn't cost a lot. TC tells Eve that he told her to forget about it, but instead she's been running around all over town trying to find the statue for him. He says it means nothing to him. Eve says she'll get rid of it, but he says he'll do that, he wants her to go upstairs and rest. TC decides to put the bird in the fire, so Eve goes upstairs. Unfortunately, TC decides to give it one more shot and tries to open it. TC figures out how to open the statue, and Eve watches him from the stairs.
Pilar returns to the mansion and is shocked to learn that Eve stole the bird. She refuses to believe Eve had an affair with Mr. Crane, and thinks she must be protecting someone else. Ivy says the bird is gone now, and Pilar is glad because secrets should be kept in the past. Ivy says she couldn't agree more. Pilar is shocked because she didn't think she'd take the loss of the statue so well. Ivy says "You win some and you lose some, she'll just have to leave this one up to fate." Julian shows up, and is surprised to see Pilar here. She says she had to take care of something, and then leaves. Ivy then gloats to Julian about her horoscope and how it indicates what she is seeking she will find. She then reads his to him, which says "don't count your chickens before they're hatched."
At the Crane Cabin, Chad and Ethan tell Whitney and Theresa that they will provide them with some music to make them believe in love again. Whitney asks Chad to stop this, but Chad says he can't stop love if it is meant to be. Chad thinks that if Ethan pays a little attention to Theresa it will give her her self confidence back. Chad also thinks that Ethan might have some feelings for Theresa after all, because he got weak in the knees when he saw Theresa in that dress. Ethan promises Theresa that he will make her forget this fool who didn't love her back. Theresa says he isn't a fool, and she doubts she could ever forget him. Ethan tells her that tonight, anything is possible. Later, Ethan performs as Elvis Presley. He sings a song to Theresa about how everything she seems to hold she spills on him. Theresa tells "Elvis" that she loved his performance and she had no idea he could do the king. Ethan says nobody does, he's never told anyone. He tells her that he wanted to do something to convince her that she still has a lot of love inside her to give to someone who deserves it. Theresa thanks him, but he says he wants something from her now. Ethan tells Theresa that he knows she has a beautiful voice, so he wants her to sing. Theresa says she has no music, but Chad says he's got plenty of music for her. Chad picks one, but it is a duet. Chad says she can sing with Ethan, so they start to sing the song "Kiss Me." Whitney begs Chad to turn it off, but CHad tells her what will be will be.
In Paris, Luis comforts Sheridan and tells her that they are gone and won't be coming back, he will get the police on this and interpool is already trying to track them down. Sheridan apologizes for acting like a coward, but Luis tells her that she is anything but a coward, she hung tough out there. Sheridan tells Luis that he doesn't have to hang around. Luis asks her if she wants him to go? Sheridan says he was only being a cop, he's rescued her so he doesn't owe her anything more, does he? Sheridan says that she's is capable of taking care of herself. Luis tells her that he'll call for some ice, but she says she can do that and gets up. Luis tells her that she needs to stay off her ankle, but she says she will stand if she wants. Luis picks Sheridan up and dumps her on the couch, and Sheridan asks him who he thinks he is? Luis says he is Officer Lopez Fitzgerald! He then calls for room service, and afterwards he and Sheridan continue to argue. Luis tells Sheridan that if she had only listened to him in the first place then both of them could have avoided almost being killed. Sheridan asks Luis why he even came back here? The news interrupted the show for a bit, and when it came back Luis is telling Sheridan that he was worried about her, and even told a stewardess about her. Sheridan asks what the stewardess said? Luis says that he said they were in love, which he said was ridiculous. However, he says he had to follow his gut instinct and make sure she was okay, and when he found the bullet hole in the wall he knew she was shot at. Sheridan says she's heard about people who are so closely connected that they know when the other is in danger, and she wonders why he would have those feelings about her? Luis says it was just a gut feeling he had. The maid shows up with some ice for Sheridan, and Luis answers the door and takes it. He begins to press some ice on Sheridan's foot, and tells her that he has to go to the station to file a report. Sheridan insists on going with him, and gets up. She tells herself that she needs to get real, he's not here for her, he just had cop instincts about her like he would have about anyone. Luis tells himself that he's never had gut feelings about anyone else, and he should be honest with her. Luis begins to tell Sheridan about his gut feelings, when Roger and Pierre begin to try and break in! Luis thinks it must be the maid, but comes face to face with them when he opens the door. Luis closes it and blocks it, and then tells Sheridan to call security. She picks up the phone, but it is dead! Luis says there is only one thing to do, so they end up climbing out onto the balcony. Luis tells Sheridan the only thing they can do now is climb along the ledge to the balcony of the next room. Sheridan is afraid of heights, and soon Roger and Pierre come after them!
In the kitchen, Ethan tells Theresa that he can feel love in the air tonight, and something will happen tonight that they'll never forget. Theresa asks him what he means? Ethan says he thinks that Whitney and Chad are finally going to realize they are in love with one another, who did she think he was talking about? Theresa says she knew he was talking about them. Ethan thinks they would make a great couple, and Theresa says they would. Ethan thinks it is great when you see people who belong together become a couple. Theresa says that it is fate, if people are meant to be together then they will end up together. Theresa ends up crying, and Ethan thinks she is crying about Chuck, so he comforts her. He tells her that she will end up with the man she is supposed to be with, she just needs to give it time.
At the Crane mansion, Julian tells Ivy to put an end to these innuendos about the bird statue because she'll never find anything. Ivy tells Julian that whatever she found in that bird she could only use to embarrass him a bit, or take away some of his power and money. Julian asks what her point is? Ivy says there is someone who could take far more away from him if he found out what was in that bird, someone like TC! Ivy says if TC found out what was in that bird, he would kill him. Julian tells her to believe what she wants. Ivy knows something is going on with that bird and it is about to reach critical mass. Julian tells Ivy that she'll never get the best of him because he is a Crane. Still, Ivy tells Julian that nothing can stay a secret forever, and whatever secret that bird is keeping is about to come out! Later, Julian gets fresh with Ivy and asks if she'd like some company in her bed tonight? Ivy tells him that the only thing she wants to know if how he first met Eve? Julian remembers that he met Eve at a Jazz club where she was singing. Julian had the manager of the club send Eve a bottle of the clubs best champagne, and then he sat down next to Eve to talk to her. Later, Eve began to sing for the club. Ivy snaps Julian out of his memories, and she asks him if Eve was just another innocent girl he corrupted? Julian tells Ivy that he is feeling too good to let her get to him, so he says goodnight to her. After he leaves, Ivy pulls out the red envelope containing the naughty photos of Julian and Eve!
At the Russell's, TC manages to open the bird statue as Eve watches. Eve blurts out "No!" as he's about to open it, and he asks what is wrong? Eve says she just didn't realize how simple it was to open the bird, and then she starts telling TC how much she loves him. She tells TC that before she met him she was lost, but now her life is perfect and he is a wonderful person. She says that the past doesn't matter because her life started when she met him. TC tells her that nothing could ever change the way he feels about her. Eve wants to go upstairs and make love, but TC wants to see what is inside the bird. He opens the bird and is stunned to find it is empty! Eve can't believe it, and TC asks if she is upset? Eve says she is fine, and begins to cry. She asks him for a glass of water, so he leaves to get her one. Eve thinks that it is finally over. TC returns with the glass of water and says that he realizes what she was talking about when she was talking about her past, and he thinks they need to talk about it right now. TC thinks Eve was trying to get him to open up about his past, and he tells Eve that he will tell her everything one day, and he wants her to know he didn't do anything horrible. He also knows that he doesn't have to worry about her past, because she's perfect. TC and Eve go upstairs, and TC puts on some music, which Eve remembers she was singing the night she met Julian. Eve turns the music off and tells TC that he doesn't need to make the mood any more romantic than it already is. The two make love, and Eve continues to believe she has nothing to fear.
In Paris, Pierre and Roger are coming after Luis and Sheridan, who are trying to make their way across the ledge to the next room's balcony. Sheridan and Luis make it around the corner of the building and out of range of Pierre's gun, but Pierre continues to come after them. Suddenly, Sheridan slips! Luis grabs her hand as she dangles from the side of the hotel. Luis struggles to save her, and unfortunately the news interrupted the show to report a stupid road block on the beltway! ARG! When the show returns, Luis has saved Sheridan from falling. They make it to the next balcony, but the people have tables and chairs blocking the door so they can't get into the room. Luis has had it and decides to set an ambush for Peirre and Roger. Sheridan tells Luis that he can't do that because if anything where to happen to him, she would die! Luis asks her what she means? Sheridan says she just meant that she couldn't imagine what his family or Pilar would think if he died saving her. Luis hears Pierre and Roger coming, so he grabs a cable from the side of the hotel and he and Sheridan swing out from the building as Pierre fires at them. Luis and Sheridan end up crashing through some couple's room window. After they leave the room, they are confronted by Pierre and Roger in the hall. Roger tells them that it is over, and they should prepare to die! Fortunately, the guy whose room they crashed into walks out into the hall and distracts Roger and Pierre for a second. Luis and Sheridan run for it, and Pierre fires shots at them as they slip away. Luis and Sheridan run into a closet, and Roger grabs Pierre's gun and fills the door full of bullets and believes he has killed them. When they open the closet, Luis and Sheridan are gone! They are hiding in a vent, and Roger swears that Sheridan will die by his hands if it takes him the rest of his life to find her.
Kay and Simone take a walk, and Kay hopes things will work out better for Simone and Chad than they have for her and Miguel. Simone says it is a completely different situation, but Kay says you can never tell what is going on in a guys head.
At the Crane cabin, Ethan is holding Theresa and telling her that miracles can happen. Theresa asks Ethan if he believes that some things are meant to be? Ethan says he does, but sometimes you have to give fate a push to help it along. He says if you want something bad enough, sometimes you have to take action. Theresa tells Ethan that she has something to tell him. She tells him that she needs to talk to him about love and what is supposed to happen for the both of them. Out in the other room, the song Chad plays for Whitney causes her to cry. Chad puts his hand on her shoulder, and the two close in for a kiss. However, Whitney snaps to and pulls away just in time. She accuses Chad of setting her up to seduce her. Chad says he only put the song on to prove to her that she has another love other than tennis in her life. The two begin to argue, and Ethan hears Chad and Whitney arguing and it interrupts what Theresa was trying to tell him. Ethan goes out to see what is going on. Whitney tells Theresa that she is tired and wants to go home right now. Ethan asks what is going on? Chad says that Whitney thinks he is a player, and he's had it. Ethan asks Chad privately if he was coming on too strong? Chad says no, and that Whitney has problems. Meanwhile, Theresa tells Whitney that perhaps the reason she is upset is because she likes Chad and it scares her. Whitney says the only thing she likes is tennis. Ethan thinks this was all a misunderstanding and suggests they turn in. Whitney agrees to stay, but says they are leaving at the crack of dawn. Ethan tells Theresa that perhaps they can finish their conversation in the morning. Whitney asks Theresa what conversation was Ethan talking about? Theresa tells Whitney that she's decided to tell Ethan that she loves him. Whitney gives her a look, but Theresa refuses to let her talk her out of it. She asks Whitney what was all that stuff with Chad? Whitney says Chad tried to kiss her. Theresa doesn't think that would have been a crime because Chad is probably a very good kisser, and then she teases WHitney and makes kissey faces. They end up talking about Chad, and Whitney tells her how arrogant Chad is. However, Theresa agrees with Chad, she should start singing again because she was so good at it when they were kids. Whitney says that singing just stopped being fun, and her mom always told her singing wouldn't get her anywhere. Whitney says that she loves tennis more than anything, and Theresa tells her to do what makes her happy. Whitney can't sleep, so she decides to take a shower. Theresa decides to make a warm glass of milk to take to Ethan so she can tell him how she feels about him tonight.
In the other room, Ethan and Chad continue talking about Whitney. Ethan thinks Whitney has a great voice and he should influence her to sing, but he says he has enough on his plate as is. Chad can't sleep and decides to take a walk. Ethan tells Chad that whether he wants to admit it or not, Whitney has gotten under his skin. Theresa runs into Chad on the way to Ethan's room, and he gives her some moral support and encourages her to give it her best shot with Ethan. Theresa wonders why he's not trying to convince her to stay away from someone who is going to marry someone else. Chad says he doesn't see eye to eye with Miss Whitney's point of view, and he thinks she should do this or she might regret it one day. Theresa goes to see Ethan, and Chad wishes he could follow his own advice. Whitney ends up falling, and Chad runs into the bathroom to see if she is okay. Whitney tells him to leave because she is naked, but her leg is hurting and she can't get up. Whitney puts a towel on, and Chad looks at her leg. Chad says damn, and Whitney asks what is wrong with her leg? Chad says the bandage just slipped off, and he puts it back on and helps her into bed. Outside, Simone and Kay, who were walking, come across the Crane cabin, and look in the window and see Chad carrying Whitney to bed!
MEanwhile, Theresa goes to see Ethan, but he is on the phone with Gwen. Ethan apologizes for walking her up, but he says that something happened between him and Theresa tonight that he has to tell her about. Theresa thinks that he's going to tell Gwen about how he loves her, but Ethan just tells her that Theresa is still upset about her breakup with Chuck and it made him love her all the more, and realize how lucky they are to be together. Theresa is devastated and vows with God as her witness that Ethan Crane is no longer a part of her life.
In Paris, Sheridan and Luis are hiding in the vent in the closet. Sheridan sees a rat and gasps, and Roger and Pierre hear her. Roger points the gun at the laundry cart, which is in front of the vent. Luckily the rat runs out, and Roger and Pierre think that is what they heard, so they leave to search other places. Sheridan thinks they should get out of here, but Luis thinks they should wait in case they decide to come back. As they try to move around to try and get more comfortable, their faces come very close to one another. They talk for awhile and Sheridan tells Luis about how she once went to a gypsy to have her fortune told when she was in boarding school, and the gypsy told her that she'd never be happy. She says it was her destiny to never get married and never have children. Luis says that is a crock, but Sheridan says she's always believed it, and still believes it. Luis laughs and says that is totally irrational. Sheridan says she has a bad track record, every guy she gets involved with ends up to be a user or a fraud. Luis says he resents that, but Sheridan refuses to get into this again. She tells him that she just has to accept that she'll never be happy. Luis tells her that she needs to be positive because if she believes something good will happen, she has a better chance of making it happen. Sheridan thanks him for the advice, and says she thinks they've waited in here long enough. Luis and Sheridan get out of the air vent, and Sheridan is anxious to leave. Luis wants to be cautious, but Sheridan says she has to get out of here. Luis asks what the big deal is? Sheridan says she is afraid of the mouse, and she wants to get out of here! When she hears something on the floor, she says she is leaving and opens the door, and comes face to face with a gun! Luis grabs the gun, and the guy with the gun ends up being the cop who gave Sheridan a hard time. The man apologizes for being wrong earlier and thinking he was only worried because he loved her. The cop tells Sheridan that she is a lucky woman to have such a wonderful man looking after her.
Luis and Sheridan go to the station, and Luis wants to know how the police will protect Miss Crane? They say they will provide her with new lodgings and placed in protective custody. Meanwhile, Sheridan sees a woman with a family and becomes sad. Luis knows she is thinking about that gypsy's prediction. Luis continues talking with the officer, who promises Luis that no harm will befall Sheridan. Unfortunately, one of the cops is dirty, and Roger, who is at the station, hands the cop some money and tells him that he knows what he has to do.
Alastair, who is wearing a Kimono and playing with a Samurai sword calls Julian to express his concern about the pictures, and Ivy. Julian says he has handled everything, the pictures are gone and Ivy is no match for him. Alastair thinks he sounds pretty confident, and Julian says he is. Alastair warns him what could happen if TC saw those pictures, TC would kill him! Julian says he's not afraid of TC Russell, but Alastair says he should be! Julian thinks this whole thing will just blow over. As they talk, it is revealed that TC's leg injury was caused in a car accident.
Ivy calls Eve to discuss the bird, but Eve says she isn't going to talk about this because she has no proof. Eve tells Ivy that intimidating her isn't going to work. Ivy says she's only asked nicely to help her. Eve says she told her very nicely that she won't do it. Ivy tells Eve that she knows about her romp in the hay with her husband, but Eve says these are just based on the hallucinations of a sick young girl. TC tells Eve, who he thinks is talking to a sick patient, that he's going to make her breakfast. Eve tells Ivy that she thought she was going to blackmail her with that bird statue, but it was empty. Ivy tells Eve that she is wrong, she managed to open the bird before she stole it from her, and now she has the photographs! Eve refuses to help her destroy Grace, but Ivy tells her that if she doesn't then she will bring her down. Eve thinks Ivy is bluffing and tells Ivy never to call her again, and then hangs the phone up. Ivy tells herself that she gave Eve fair warning, and now she will be very very sorry. Ivy logs onto the computer, and emails the naughty photos to TC! Julian shows up, so she pretends to be doing some work. Julian invites her to join him for an early breakfast. Ivy wonders why he is so chipper thismorning. Julian says he has every reason to be, he is in complete control of his life. Back at the Russell's, the naughty photo begins to download on TC's computer!
On the mountain, Tabitha attempts to hang herself, but the tree branch the noose is hanging from breaks. Timmy tells Tabitha that she's no better at killing herself than she is at killing Miguel or Charity. However, they soon find Miguel and Charity in the hot tub, and wonder why Charity looks so sad. In the hot tub, Miguel tells Charity that he'll never love anyone else, but Charity says he will because she saw it in her vision. Miguel thinks there is an explanation, so he asks her to tell him what she saw. Charity tells him that she saw him telling Kay that he loved her and wanted to marry her. Tabitha can't believe what she hears, and Timmy doesn't understand how it could be true. Tabitha says that no matter how Miguel feels now, he is going to marry Kay. Timmy thinks there is hope for him and Timmy after all. Tabitha says one thing is for sure, they will survive and she now has every reason to live! Later. Theresa, Kay, and Ethan all show up to see Miguel. Charity decides to leave so Miguel and Theresa can talk, and Kay leaves with Charity. Theresa asks Miguel if anything is wrong, he doesn't look so happy? Miguel says he should be happy, he and Charity professed their love to one another, but now he doesn't know what his future holds. Miguel tells her about Charity's premonition. Theresa tells him to convince her that she is wrong because true love is forever. However, Ethan says he's not so sure. He says that you can think you love some one and plan your future with that person, but someone else your destined to be with comes along, then it is fate you end up with that other person. Theresa asks Ethan if he really believes that? He tells her that he does.
Back at the lodge, Charity tells Kay that she had a premonition of Miguel telling her that he loved her and wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.
Meanwhile, a happy Tabitha makes snow angels, and Timmy joins her because he thinks Charity will be free to love him soon.
