Theresa says that if Ethan finds out she's been lying to him, then he'll hate her. Chad think maybe he'll understand, and Theresa wishes she could believe that. She says that one of these days she's going to tell Ethan that she loves him and only him. She screams that she can't spend another night in here and runs for the door. Chad stops her and holds her. He tells her that he knows what it is like to go for someone who is out of reach, and he finds himself also telling himself that it is a lost cause and it is time he moved on. He tells Theresa that perhaps it is time she do the same. Theresa says she has tried to move on, but fate keeps throwing them together. Chad says that fate is a powerful force, but it doesn't control one's mind, and sometime you have to listen to your gut feeling. Theresa asks Chad if that is how he feels about the person out of his reach? He says it is, and sometimes love is a bitch.
