DC Talk

DC Talk (comprised of Toby Mckeehan, Michael Tait, and Kevin Max) formed in 1989 and has been taking the music world by storm since then. They have created many radical albums such as Nu Thang, Free At Last (which became one of the hotest albums of the year in '92), Jesus Freak (made double platinum '96), and Supernatural. DC Talk has never failed to impress the fans with their many styles of music and faith inspiring lyrics. DC Talk has currently taken time off as a group to work on their solo projects which are now available! Just to keep it clear, DC Talk is not breaking up like rumor says they are. Toby, Tait, and Max are constantly trying to get across to everybody that they are not breaking up.

DC Talk

Toby, Mike, and Kevin have been busy lately working on their newest project, "Free at Last: The Movie" and "Free at Last" the CD digitally remastered and featuring a new remix of the song "The Hardway"! Jesus Freaks: Volume I & II

Jesus Freaks is a book put together by DC Talk filled with storys upon storys of people being persecuted because they are living for Jesus. DC Talk has recently put together Volume II, which is just as good as Volume I. Also there is a Jesus Freaks: A Journal, Promises for a Jesus Freak, and Live Like a Jesus Freak. For any Jesus Freaks out there you need to get at least either Volume I or II, you won't be disapointed! For free excerpts click on the picture below!

Toby Mac

Momentum

Toby's solo project, Momentum, was a huge success! It had earned him 2 Dove Awards such as: Rap/Rock/Dance Recorded Song of the Year and Rap/Rock/Dance Album of the Year. Toby has not completed this piece of magnificent work all by himself. Pete Stewart had helped write some of the songs and Kirk Franklin appeared in the jammin' song "J Train". I would recommend this album to anyone who loves rock or rap music!

This Christmas

Toby has produced anthor album but this isn't so lengthy. "This Christmas: Single" has two awsome Christmas songs: "This Christmas" and "O Come All Ye Faithful". "This Christmas" is a totaly original song by Toby and "O Come All Ye Faithful" is the original song Toby Mac style. Short as it may be this is a must on your Christmas Wish List!

Tait

Even though Tait is the last name of Michael Tait, Tait is actually the name of Mike's band. So I guess you can't exactly say he's gone solo. Tait Band is composed of Pete Stewart, Lonnie and Chad Chapin, and of course Michael Tait. Together they produced their album Empty. Empty has not won this band any Dove Awards but it is still a totally awsome album! I would recommend it to someone who doesn't like their rock too "rocky" and still likes soft music.

Kevin Max

Kevin has produced an album called Stereotype Be which is his solo project. This album has a variety of music that will find favor in anybody's eyes. It even features the band Grits, in the awsome song "Existence". Even though this album has not won any Dove Awards it is still amazing. This, too, it a must have album!

Soupernatural

Not much info has been released on the movie "Soupernatural" which is staring Kevin. It was started awhile ago, but had recently had the script rewrote and a date has not been established as to when it will be coming out. To find out more go to the media section of Kevin's web site.
