Kevin

When I started to sponsor Kevin , he was 6 and lived
in Ecuador with his Grandfather
and Grandmother and one other sibling. I found that he liked
to swim, ride his bike, and play soccer.

When he turned 7 in June, I was able to send him some money
through Compassion for his birthday. The missionaries there take
the money and use all of it (they take no cuts) to buy things that he
needs as well as some toys. Just a little bit goes a long
way in Ecuador.

Kevin can't write well yet, so he tells his tutor what to write to me.
When I write to him, I can either email him through
Compassion's website, or send a letter which
has a space on it to leave room for the translation.

In September, I was notified that Kevin left the program
and moved to Spain. I am sad to see him go, but glad
that this has opened up new opportunities for him and
that he did accept Jesus as his Savior before leaving.
I will never forget him and he will always be in my prayers.
